(OOC: Guys, while in my tired state I posted my Tidus post as Vincent, then while trying to delete the post I accidently deleted the entire thread instead. -drops dead, collapses on floor- BUT I managed to save all the posts before I did, so I'm going to repost them all below before I add my most recent Tidus post. Apologies for those that posted recently! We needed a clean slate anyway due to the people that dropped out and inactivity, so consider this a fresh start.)

Also, since Snow decided not to use abilites and I would like to wrap things up soon, I won't list what your abilities do except if you use them, only because you may not use them and it takes me a long time to think up of what they'd do and write them out. Also, if you guys want to continue a few more rounds, I added a poll so please vote in it if you'd like to continue playing Blitzball a bit longer and get this thread active again. Thank you!)
Finally, after what seemed like time moving in slow motion because of the tension, Snow through the ball back into play. Tidus smiled and nodded to him, slightly proud of his new friend getting such a good reputation and also recognizing the ball was coming his way, and from the sheer velocity and force of the ball he flipped around when he caught it, even being slowed down through the water it still almost hit him like a canonball. The blitzball was in his hands, though, having not managed to drop it or have it slipped out of his hands. He looked up the field and decided quickly what to do with the ball, going with his strategy. He might have a bit of experience with Blitzball, but that didn't mean the other team members should be denied the experience with the ball, and so before he was encountered decided to pass the ball over to Ursula.
As soon as Ursula caught the ball, she was encountered by two members of the Bevelle Breakers, Suppressor and Berserker. Suppressor was the bulkier of the two, but Berserker looked lean and had a wild look in his eyes. Supressor hung back, possibly looking to block the shot, while Berserker rushed forward to tackle Ursula. However, it wasn't enough, and it appeared Ursula still had possession of the ball. Who would she pass the ball to next?
"The Zanarkand Abes are now back in play with the ball, and the tension is mounting. Snow passes the ball to the team captain, Tidus... Tidus passes the ball with no contest to the new Right Defense of the Abes, Ursula. Supressor appears to be going for a block while Berserker moves in for a hard tackle... he doesn't have the ball!" Bobba announced the play-by-play, ramping up the excitment in his voice as the crowd roared. "That's right Bobba, interesting play by the Abes, Snow's choice to the team captain was a wise one but Tidus seems to be putting an awful amount of trust and belief, both into his strategy and in the new recruit Ursula." Jetta added in afterthought. "Will it be enough, though? We'll have to wait and see." Bobba replied, ending the commentary there as there was a silent hush among the crowd, in anticipation to see what Ursula would do next.
Tidus kicked hard and swam up towards the goal, getting in position to help out whoever Ursula may pass the ball to next. He figured this, since Ursula was the Right Defense and support for the team to confuse the Breakers to get around their defenses, but she could very well also keep breaking forward towards the goals instead of passing if that was her choice.
(Because I goofed with deleting the thread by accident, didn't trust myself to write up the play-by-play stats, so I'll do it tomorrow if it matters to anyone besides myself. Let me know if it does and you want to see the results to remove all doubt of any cheating, because I want everyone to have fun, that's the goal of this thread.)

After going over with all his teammates that they were ready for the second half, and making some last minute preperations, the siren sounded for the second half. Tidus lead the way for the starting point of the team, which was in the locker room, from that point back out into the huge sphere of water already filled up. It was the Zanarkand Abes formed by Tidus and friends against... the Bevelle Breakers? Looking up at the scoreboard, it looked like Seymour had pulled a fast one on Tidus and sent in his best and toughest. "And in a surprising upset, it looks like the Grand Maester has switched up the rules on the tournament! Whichever team scores the most goals in their match will move onto the next round!" The commentator Bobba was back, this time with his friend Jimma. "That's right Bobba, and right now the captain of the Zanarkand Abes is not looking too happy about that unsettled score with the Guado Glories, what with his team having tied with them. It has been tough competition out there with the Bevelle Breakers having fought the Ronsos, also winning their half 1-0."
Tidus jumped back into the pool, going to meet the team captain of the Breakers, named Maestro. Once everyone was in the sphere, comfortable with breathing the oxygen-rich magical water, the crowd sent off a spectacular roar from all around them as the ball was shot off once again. Tidus caught the ball, since the Abes had scored last in the last half. He swam off towards the goals and tried to get around the opposition, but of course was quickly met by resistance.
Maestro blocked his advance, as well as his right-hand man from Right Forward position appropriately named Berserker. Now Tidus had to quickly make a choice, or lose the ball to the opposing Breakers. The only thing he could really do is endure their attacks, or wait to see if they would remain to block if he decided to pass. He decided he would pass rather than hog the ball, as this was a team effort. (But, it also reminded me... how Blitzball being played right now wasn't for fun at all, but as a means to keep an eye on Seymour and stop whatever nefarious scheme he's hatching here tonight.) Tidus thought in inner monologue to himself. Maestro didn't do anything, looking like he would cleverly wait to block a pass, but Berserker looked about ready to attack...

______________________________________
Why was he here again? Here in this strange world participating in a game he did not even know? Why had the Light summoned him here when there was clearly someone there before him to do the job? Why was he being forced to waste time here when he could’ve been elsewhere searching for friends and clues as to what Xehanort might’ve been up to? These were the sort of question that ran through the white haired Keyblade Master’s mind as he sat in a strange waiting room with water up to his knees as he rested on a bench, his aquamarine eyes focused on the gently shifting water that lapped at his clothing, chilling his skin underneath.
The Light had pulled him to the world called Spira and shortly after arrival, he had ran into a strange man with wings that for whatever reason asked him to do him the huge favor of replacing himself on some team called the Zanardkand Abes. Riku had tried to refuse, but the man was bent on the trade and before he knew the guy had signed him up for a game he did not wish to play and soon he found himself amongst a strange assortment of people. There was a woman in blue named Rinoa, a man in a long white trench wearing a beanie named Snow, a blonde who called himself captain of the team named Tidus and…the ferocious form of the Beast that Riku remembered from his time playing back up in the shadows while the last Organization members were hunted down.
It was hard to believe the creature was there, but Riku didn’t linger too long on the odd appearance as he instead focused on the captain that gave him the run down of the rules and gave the whole team a pep talk before they had been dismissed to the waiting area, leaving Riku alone for the time being. Alone to try and figure out what this game had to do with anything he had been trying to do thus far. Granted, there were many Hearts of Light here and from what he could tell not everyone was from this world. The only one that blended in well with this world was the blonde called Tidus, but everyone else screamed outsider. He didn’t know why he thought this, he just did and as he did he wondered why such an odd bunch had been called to this world. Was it really to help Tidus with a game or was it something else?
The young man tried to ponder the possibilities, but all to soon found his quiet being disrupted by the sounds of the announcer and the splash of his team mates moving through the area. It was a sign it was time to begin this game. With a light sigh, Riku got to his feet and followed the rest of his team to the edge of the sphere full of water. He looked down at the water, having been told he would be able to breathe in it once he had entered, and wondered once more why he was doing this. His eyes moved from the water and across the packed stadium and all the cheering people. As his eyes scanned the crowd, those serious orbs eventually landed on a strange man dressed in elegant robes reclining in one of the box seats. As he locked his eyes on the strange blue haired man, he got a distinct pull from him that told the boy he was trouble. Maybe…maybe it was this strange man that had forced him here. Maybe this ordeal was to help stop whatever he was planning. Or maybe Riku was simply looking for another answer to his questions of why he was here. Any answer that did not involve simply coming to a world to play a game.
The observation lasted only for a second before the boy was diving into the water not fearing drowning before swimming to his position off to the left side of the captain. As the crowd cheered and the buzzer to start the game went off, Riku began to move, following slightly behind the captain as aquamarine eyes focused on what was happening. The captain caught the ball and began heading off down the field only to be stopped the opposing team’s captain and another player that was off to his right. The captain seemed to simply to watch Tidus, while the other guy went for an attack; however, Riku wasn’t about to let that happen. As much as he didn't want to play the game, now that he was in it, he wasn't about to lose.
So as Berserker moved towards Tidus, Riku swam forward to intercept the attacker with a tackle of his own. If everything worked out, Tidus would have one less person to worry about being in his way.

So here he was yet again, the Beast of the Castle in those dark woods, stuck in this world of bright colors for some reason. Something had brought him here since he started carving his own path between worlds. Quite literally too. A number of times he had carved his way from one world to the next, and in one of those had ended up here, Mistakenly called a “Ronso” or something like that, and was recruited into this game of playing with a ball in water. To say the Beast hadn't expected this to happen, well, you'd be right, plain and simple. Once known as Prince Adam, the Beast as he now was known was nothing more than a creature of ferocious might, yet here he was playing what was basically a child's game.
Though, that didn't mean the Beast hadn't felt some semblance of fun. Though he acted stoic and mean most of the time, getting to actually win had lifted his spirits, knowing he had contributed to such a win. Belle's words, even if they had only been in his head, had been the reason for such encouragement to try it, and now he could tell her of the amazing time he had, and perhaps even show her this city that, honestly, he was beginning to find beautiful. But that was something for another time, as his thoughts on why he was here and his growing Joy was interrupted by the annoying announcers of the tournament he was still a part of. He turned to look upon his team members, noting that Koki had opted to depart but found a replacement suitable of him. Beast recognized this boy. Riku had been his name. He had not had long encounters with him, but enough to set things right and let him have some semblance of trust, even if the Boy had once been a mortal enemy for his part in kidnapping Belle.
He would put that behind him though as he got into the water and adjusted to it's breathable quality. He lined up with the rest of his team, a foreboding sight to behold for anyone and everyone. Then things picked up, and action and reaction took over. The ball was released, and Tidus had caught it. Then he swam, the rest of his team careful to follow without leaving to many openings. It seemed Riku would head in to attack one of the ones Tidus was about to encounter, leaving just the captain, who seemed quite weak. Utilizing his powerful arms and his tail as a rudder, Beast swam with precision to get in range of Tidus, pushing past the opposing team member near him with enough of an opening to be passed to, should Tidus opt to pass. If he did not opt to pass, then Beast would swim farther up with Tidus, acting as a Battering ram against future encounters.

Snow had never had so much fun in his entire life. The roar of the crowd...the cheering, the competition... Snow never would have thought that he would be able to participate in something like this. Snow, at first, had been searching for Lightning and the rest of his "family". He found himself here...in this new world. The world wasn't as technologically advanced as his own world but this place did remind him of home. The only difference was that his world didn't have such exciting sports like Blitzball!! Snow had been walking around the city of Luca and he came across a guy, that seemed to be a few years younger than he was, trying to put a team together to play in a sports tournament. Snow was not a guy that would leave a man that needed help behind. Plus, he was interested in the world he found himself in. He figured that he could use some time to unwind. Plus, if he was in a tournament, tons of people were bound to attend. He was sure that he could find someone from his world. Gadot was really into sports, he figured that he could find him in a setting like this. The first round ended, and Snow wasn't able to find anyone...yet.
Aside from that, Snow was enjoying the time he was having with Tidus, who was the leader of the team. Tidus was as bright and vibrant and optimistic as Snow himself was. Snow liked the personality of this guy. He was pretty cool. There was Beast as well. A serious individual that always seemed to have a lot on his mind. There was Rinoa, who did a lot in the last game as well. Koki had to leave, luckily Riku was in the neighborhood. Snow, at first, thought this sport was going to be a little bit complicated...but when he was given his position and he was brought into the fray to help his new friend Tidus win. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. It was a lot of fun being in the water sphere. He was the goalie, so he wasn't into the action that much, he didn't think that he should, seeing as how he needed to protect the goal. He didn't want to be caught being at the wrong place at the wrong time, simply because he was trying to help get the offense going. If someone stole the ball, things will get out of hand, Snow was not a fast swimmer.
As the second round began, Snow dove into the sphere of water and headed toward the front of his team's goal, trying to fulfill his role as goalie. They were facing a team known as the Bevelle Breakers. Snow wasn't worried, he wasn't intimidated in the least. Snow had full confidence in his team, nothing was gonna keep them from victory. Although, Snow wondered what the prize was going to be. Was it going to be money? Was it going to be a huge trophy? Snow was so confident in this team of his, that he had already been thinking about what the prize was going to be. Snow cleared his head when the ball was put into play. Snow, even though he had been on the other side of the sphere stayed alert. He watched Tidus swim with the ball with incredible speed. It was then that Tidus came across two opposing players. Snow was going to make a motion to help but when he saw Riku and Beast make a play to effectively tackle the opposing players, Snow stayed where he was. Snow would like a try with the ball but it was all about knowing your role. In a team sport, if everyone does what it best for the team as a whole, the offense will each person and they will have their chance; their time to shine.

ONE THOUSAND YEARS; YOU READY?
The otherworld, it takes you
Berserker came in at dazzling speed to plow into Tidus, only to be saved last-minute by a ferocious tackle from Riku. Knocking him completely out of the encounter, the young captain awaited Maestro to attack him, but he was moving to intercept as Beast barreled past. Seeing what he was doing, Tidus made the decision to throw the ball, pulling his arm over behind him and volleying the ball towards the beastly prince. As anticipated, Maestro reached out to catch the ball, lunging but only brushing the ball by the tips of his fingers. The ball kept shooting past him, towards Beast, hopefully with Beast catching the ball. Now Tidus was free of it, he hoped to play the same role he was sure Beast would do for him, plowing through any opposition that came his way.
As expected, as Beast thundered towards the goal, just as he reached it he was met with heavy opposition. The left defense was there called Youth, and the right forward Supressor. The goalie, named Freelauncher, awaited to protect the goals. Maestro had already caught up but so had Tidus, who tackled the weakest of the group and knocked Youth with a swift Drain Tackle, which was enough to completely knock the runt of the counter. Now all Beast had left against him from scoring a goal was Maestro, Suppressor and Freelauncer, all which looked like elite opponents. Or, Beast could also pass to Tidus, Riku or another team member of the Abes, unless he was feeling confident. It all was up to him.
"Well Jimma, what a upstart! Young Riku, new sunstitute to the team, came to his captain's rescue in that replay and totally blitzed Berserker! With that in mind, Tidus was able to pass the ball to Beast, and then catch up with his team mate to take out Youth!" Bobba announced over the PA, as he looked to his commentating partner. "That's right Bobba, now Beast looks like he's up against some of the heavy-sets of the Breakers, will he able to get the ball past them, or will he make the play pass to another member of the Abes? Stay in your seats folks, you won't want to miss this!" Jimma chimed in, as the crowd roared and cheered whenever there was some interaction between the players. Especially when Tidus had actually ejected Youth from the watery globe, they all stood up in their seats and hollered at the roughness. Tidus looked on from the water after he had completely ejected the Beveller, kicking off and swimming up to look towards Beast at what he was going to do. How was this stern but gentle-hearted behemoth going to do this, and would it mean a goal for the team?

This was an odd, but interesting game nonetheless. Despite Riku’s earlier misgivings about the strange man with blue hair that sat in what could only be described as a box seat for the elite, the young man had calmed down a bit since arriving as he focused instead on completing the task at hand. A task that at first he thought was a waste of time, but now was finding that it was a much needed break from the stress as of late. The swimming relaxed him and having to be alert in this game kept his mind in the present rather than wandering off down darker paths.
The tension within was further released as Riku made his move against Berserker. It was by good timing and a bit of luck that the tackle that was meant for Tidus was halted by Riku. Bracing himself for the impact to come, Riku and the more seasoned blitz player collided with each other hard enough to knock the wind out of each other if they were on land; however, thanks to water friction the impact was softened slightly.
Very slightly. As the pair crashed, Riku felt himself slip around his target, but had to take a moment to shake off the shock of the hit that seemed to rattle all his bones out of place and made his world spin slightly. He shook his head finding it easy to clear away the light fog around his mind as his eyes turned to see what had happened to the man he had tackled. While the guy had indeed put up a nice attack, it seemed that Riku had been the strongest of the two since the man appeared to be out of it or something as he stayed where he was floating like a limp doll in the water. The guy still twitched a bit, so at least Riku knew the man was more or less alive. Still that scene was a bit eerie, how that guy floated there….
Trying not to focus too hard on the floating man, Riku told himself that this was part of the game. Besides the crowd was loving it and none of the other team members on either side seemed to be phased by it, so why worry, right? Shaking off the uneasiness, Riku looked to see what was happening.
He saw Beast swimming…or something similar to swimming….yeah. Whatever. Anyway, Beast was moving into a position that would allow Tidus to throw the ball to him; however, Maestro…you know the remaining guy that had tried to block Tidus’s path? Yeah him. That guy moved from his position to intercept what he was predicting to be a pass from Tidus. Sure enough, Tidus threw the ball and the opposing team member tried to block it, but failed. As the ball continue its path towards Beast, Riku began to move when he saw the big giant barreling towards the goal on the opposing team’s side. Assuming the creature had the ball in pa—hand, Riku followed the creature and his captain to the other end, planning to keep up his duty as a defender of the ball holder. When they got to the goal, the goalie and two others came to bar their way. On top of this, behind them, Maestro had caught up and was now a threat from behind. Regardless of this, Tidus didn’t seem to be worried as he immediately went on the offensive and tackled the one called Youth with so much power that it made Riku’s tackle from earlier seem weak. Seriously, the guy literally knocked the other right out of the sphere of water and into the open space between the sphere and the crowd!
The move was not surprising, but to know you could be smacked out of this sphere so easily really made Riku begin to question just what was holding up the sphere…and if whatever was holding the sphere up went out… Erm..Best not think about that one too hard. Nope. Nope.
Shaking away the what ifs, Riku focused on the problem before him as the crowd cheered loudly and the announcers made their reports. Tidus had moved to a position where it would be easy to pass the ball to him if the Beast chose to; however, there was also the option of Beast potentially using the ball to try to score, but in order to do that, he needed even less barriers in his ways and more than one way out of the jam.
Riku sized up the two defenders quickly and decided that the big guy was the one to go down. Turning his attention to Supressor, Riku activated his Flowmotion ability before attempting to tackle the larger elite…

Snow had been watching the game from afar at his position in front of the Abes' goal. He was not about to leave and then have a mishap happen and then have the other team score on a goal that was not defended. That was not about to happen on Snow's watch. Snow wanted so badly to be in the fray with his newfound friends. He felt like he was getting off easy. He felt that they were getting all the credit. Snow wanted to do some work, too. He didn't want to just sit here. However, that was the job of a goalie...especially since his team was so good that they saw nothing but the offensive side of the game for all this time. The whole game had practically been in front of their opponent's goal which was awesome...but boring...at least for Snow. Snow thought that maybe he should have chosen a position that was more active in the game.
Snow watched as the action unfolded down by the opponent's goal. Their new teammate Riku made an awesome tackle, protecting Tidus and the Beast had come to help him just as well, with Tidus throwing him the ball just as well. Beast, who happened to be one of the defensive anchors of the team, seemed to be making a play for the goal. Snow cheered for him to go all the way, hoping that Beast could make the goal. Snow figured that if he wasn't active for right now, he could, at least, show his support for his team. Snow didn't want to just sit there and complain. Snow knew and soon began to feel that playing this game was a lot like battles. Sure, one could be the star and take care of everything but it is far better to work within your team. It is better to work with your team toward a common goal. If one works for the good of the team, then good individual things will come to that person.
Snow widened his eyes from the shock of what he saw the captain of Snow's team do next. After he passed the ball to Beast, Tidus came through and hit one of their opponent's so hard that they were knocked out of the watery globe that they were in. To say that this tackle was a morale booster was a complete understatement. Snow was now even more motivated to win this tournament. Snow pumped his fist in the air in celebration of Tidus's tackle. Snow was now more than ready to play. He began to swim out but then he remembered that he was the goalie. He pounded his right fist into his left hand, wishing he could get in there too. However, he knew that for the good of the team, he had to stay back here. Snow was a team player for the most part, he had no problems staying at his post.

Beast had not yet acted, and due to his sudden lapse of inactivity, he was not the first to act. Before his teammates could come to his aid, Maestro appeared to make a faint, and in a rush both he and Suppessor tackled Beast at once. The resulting blow not only knocked Beast out of the encounter, but completely knocked Beast out of the arena, just as Tidus had done previously to Junior. Unfortunately, it looked like Beast had taken injury in the fall and would not be getting back into the game. Riku came in and used Flowmotion to tackle Suppressor, completely taking the large man out of the encounter as well, as Maestro took the ball with a superior smirk on his face.
Tidus made both his hands in the gesture of a T for a quick time-out, as he saw down to inspect what had happened to Beast. It looked like Beast had taken a severe injury to the back from the fall, and he would not be able to play. Tidus had no choice but to bench him, but he was glad there were some players that were benched that could replace him and rearing to help out. The replacement was on the way, but it would be a while, and the game could not be left indefinately on timeout forever. He swam back up to join his teammates, watching how the light refracted prismatically within the massive globe of crystal clear water. He repostitioned himself as Maestro took possession of the ball, and the game started off again.
Maesto swim forward for a moment, and before Tidus encountered him, he threw the ball towards the left forward, named Seeker. Seeker took the ball and charged right past where Riku had been on left defense, and where the new right defense was now entering. With Snow the only one protecting the goals, the Left Forward kicked to make a shot with Sphere Shot. "I don't believe this! Not only was Beast switched out for a new team member due to injury, but they Bevelle Breakers took advantage of a lack of defense and Seeker is now shooting a goal towards the goalkeeper, one Snow Villiers!" Bobba esculated his commentary, followed by his co-host Jimma. "That's right Bobba, a crushing blow for the Zanarkand Abes, it looks like it's all up to the goalie now to to protect the goals! Time to find out what this Abes goalie is made of!" Jimma followed up, as the crowd roared for the upsetting and stunning offensive by the Breakers against the Abes.
Would Snow be successful, or would the Breakers develop a lead with this goal?

LET YOUR HEART FLOW
Ursula had settled down on the sidelines during most of the game, just watching the games and how they progressed, not having seen anything like it before. She neither could recall how she had ended up in Spira, but instead of immediately looking for a way back home, she didn't want to avoid some of the fun.
When Beast got heavily knocked out and seemed to have gotten injured, Ursula got a bit worried. Despite the beastly features, she was certain the man was a friend from what she had seen in these games so far. Having taken a look around, she had seen other beings also not like humans, so it was all very new to her.
As Beast was to be benched, it appeared it was her turn to enter the... water sphere. Really... can you just... easily breath in there? She was still confused by how this worked, but hurried on her way to get into the game as well. While she was on her way, she could hear that the game suddenly continued. Quickly she dove into the sphere and started making way towards her position while keeping her attention to where Seeker and Snow were.
Ursula planned to move a bit towards the two, but knew she could never make it in time to make any difference, instead she could try and focus on others that would appear. This all was rather new to her to begin with.

The game was going smoothly and Snow was in the zone. Well...he was as much in the zone as one that was not doing much could be. Still, he was attentive to the action. He watched as his teammates go back and forth, fighting to make the first goal. The roar of the crowd struck through the sphere of water that Snow found himself in and filled his ears. Snow was getting a rush out of this. He knew that he was wrong for participating. There was much that needed to be done. The reason why he signed up for this was because he figured that he might find someone familiar to him or he might find some info on Xehanort and his croonies. However, due to the fast pace of this game, due to the fact that Snow had an active role, he was not able to take his time and look into the crowd for anyone or anything he might have been looking for. Snow figured that he might as well enjoy this time, for it will be the last bit of fun he will have for a while.
Snow watched his teammate Beast go down, taking two mighty hard hits that even made the big, mighty blonde brawler cringe a little himself. He then watched as Beast flew out of the sphere from the impact of the two hits. He watched as Tidus called for a time out and swam down to see about Beast. However, given the fact that Snow was a brawler and those type of hits were his game, he had a strong feeling that Beast was not going to be able to make it back. However, then again, Beast was strong from what Snow saw. He might be wrong. However, after a while they had to call in a substitute, and that almost made Snow hang his head. However, the game hadn't ended yet. Things were not over on this end yet. He couldn't let up, because now they had someone to win for. What better way to honor Beast than to pick up this victory from these guys?
Time was called back in and the game resumed. Snow thought things would wait until his team were back at full strength but that wasn't the case. Snow saw as one of the opponents kicked the ball over to one of their teammates. They were heading for the goal. It was time for Snow to shine now. A competitive, almost evil smirk crept upon Snow's face. He was about to get what he wished for. One would say that one must be careful of what one wishes for but Snow was not that man. He loved poking the slumbering beasts and the sleeping dragons. He loved challenges and he was not about to back down from the oncoming one that had the ball in his hand. Snow loosened up as who seemed to be their scorer swim over to where Snow was. He then watched as he tossed the ball up into the air and gave it a flip kick, launching the ball at Snow. Snow had his eyes wide open and he was attentive...he watched as the ball came to his goal...a goal that Snow had personal pride in protecting... However the ball seemed to be veering to the left. Snow, using all his might, trying to bring himself between the goal and the ball, zooming to the left, diving to that position as fast as he possibly could... In case he wasn't able to get a grip on it, he activated on of his favorite moves that he would use in battle. Snow would then begin to glow gold as he activated Steelguard to try to block the ball's path into the goal and perhaps catch the ball so that he could throw it to whoever was open for his team to score...

FREE ME, PRAY TO THE FAITH, IN THE FACE OF THE LIGHT
Feed me, fill me with sin, and get ready to fight
(OOC: Hercules is our new MF. His stats and others will come next round; this post is a placeholder to get Snow to throw the ball back to the team. xD Yes, that's why it's short, apologies.)
And yes, Snow had reached out and upon activating Steelguard for his gloves, had caught the ball. A amonished roar came up from the crowd, some going for the Bevelle Breakers yelling, the others for the Zanarkand Abes cheering. The ball was now in the grasp of Snow's hands, but who will he throw it to? There was Tidus of course, Ursula, and the newcomer Hercules who had taken up the middle-forward position. Some others had to be switched with newcomers from the bench and would eventually be on the field too, but for now Snow would have to pick who to throw to - and if he would use an ability or not - between these three people.
"Amazing! The Abes goalie, Snow Villiers, has caught the ball and stopped the Bevelle Breakers dead in their tracks." Bobba announced clearly over the P.A. system of the game, looking to his other commentary partner, Jimma. "That's right Bobba, and I believe the technique he just used was called Steelguard, and it's already becoming a sensation as a crowd favorite." Jimma chimmed, as the chanting of "STEELGUARD SNOW! STEELGUARD SNOW!" arose from the background audience of the crowd. Tidus actually lit up and smiled, and if he could be heard more clearly underwater actually laughing optimistically. But the fact remained, who was Snow going to pass on the ball to, before time ran out so they could score some goals?

Snow's heart stopped a little as he literally tried to put himself between the ball and the goal. He didn't know if he would be able to catch it but all he wanted to do was keep them from scoring. He didn't want his team to behind; he wanted his team to get the first score if he could catch it. Snow felt his whole body stretch as he went for the ball and once he felt the round object in his huge hands, his heart went to beating again. Snow was able to catch the ball. Snow made sure to hold it with both hands. He didn't want to be the klutz that lost it due to him not being careful. Snow then swam back to the middle of the goal. Snow grinned at the ball he caught but then he looked around as he held the ball looking for his fellow teammates but then...something interesting happened.
From what Snow heard, his favorite technique had become a crowd favorite. Snow's eyes widened with glee and happiness as they chanted "STEELGUARD SNOW" over and over again. Snow's jaw dropped, he didn't think he would be such a hit with the crowd. The goalie, when it came to sports, always had the least amount of popularity. Snow was happy to see that with him, that wasn't the case whatsoever. Snow looked around to see if anyone had noticed at all and he saw Tidus, who practically had the same reaction to it all as Snow did. Snow was happy to see that the captain of this team was one for humor, too.
However, Snow calmed himself for the game. He began to think hard about who he should pass it too. He figured that if he passed it to Ursula, that might be putting her on the spot too early. He didn't want to heap everything on to her too early. He figured that he should let someone with more experience handle the ball. He looked to Tidus and saw that Snow could trust him to make the goal or pass it to the right person to make the goal. Snow made eye contact with Tidus, letting him know that the ball was coming his way. Snow cocked back the hand that he held the ball and with the force that he would uppercut a Behemoth with, he threw it to Tidus, hoping that he will be able to catch it.
