Nighttime in Edge... The streets were quiet and peaceful, some of the citizens out to enjoy the nightlife, while most were content to sleep in their beds. It had been so long since the sky was red with the sight of Meteor or the attack by Bahamut SIN. They had no reason to fear anymore, even though there had been rumors that Sephiroth was still around... or the mysterious black creatures that were constantly attacking. But neither of those were present now. It was a nice night, with the stars in full view, especially now that Midgar, once a city that never slept, was now in ruins. Soon, however, the stars began to wink out. One... then five, then twenty. Several citizens noticed it, but couldn't fathom why. Then they realized that the stars weren't winking out of existence. They were being blocked by something. In fact, it was a large orb of darkness, careening through space. It had been sent by the Emperor of Heartless Itself, Tenebra, right after It had been freed from Its imprisonment. The orb of Darkness flew through space and made its way to the world of Gaia, where it targeted the ruined city of Midgar. The citizens that realized what the thing blocking the stars panicked and shouted for everyone to evacuate the area. As they did so, the orb of darkness hit the center of Midgar. It began expanding into a dome made of Darkness, beginning to cover what remained of Midgar. As it reached the city limits, half of Edge, built upon the ruins of Midgar, was sucked into the darkness, along with whomever was living in the city at the time. The next day... "This is Ehrgeiz One, come in, Mother Hen.""Ehrgeiz One, this is Mother Hen, report your status, Over."The rest of Edge awoke to find a dome of Darkness had covered Midgar perfectly. This, of course, had not gone unnoticed by those who were once in power. They sent a couple squads of soldiers, complete with helicopters to scout out the scene. Nothing had happened since they arrived, though the dome already had its own sense of foreboding. "We've arrived at the ruins of Midgar and initial reports are correct. The dome covers the city limits exactly. Never seen anything like it, though I guess I can't go down there with a ruler and measure it myself. Nothing of interest has happened so far, but we're keeping a close eye on things, over."Silence coated the cockpit of Ehrgeiz One as they awaited Command's response. "Ok, go in and scout out the dome, report back any changes to Command immediately. We need to know what is going on under there! Over. As the squads were given the go ahead, they advanced towards the dome. However, a few seconds after they were given the order, Ehrgeiz One spotted something flying out of the top of the dome. "Mother Hen, this is Ehrgeiz One. We have visual confirmation of a... you're not going to believe this, but it appears to be a small girl, no more than eleven years of age, with bat-like wings, flying out of the dome, Over.""... Are you sure, Ehrgeiz One? Over.""This is Ehrgeiz Two, I can confirm Ehrgeiz One's visual, I repeat, I can confirm Ehrgeiz One's visual. Over.""Ok, track it, I do not want you to lose sight of-" Suddenly, the radio at HQ makes a terrible noise, very much like an explosion. Panicked swearing could be over the radio. The squads on the field, of course, could see what happen. "Report! Come in, Ehrgeiz One!" "Mother Hen, that girl just flew past us! I-I-It- She was so quick! Never seen anything like it. She attacked and blew up Ehrgeiz Two!"What?!""Get a lock on it! HENSON, GET A LOCK ON THAT THING! We need to blow it out of the sk-" Another explosion was heard through the radio. "EHRGEIZ THREE IS DOWN! REPEAT! EHRGEIZ THREE IS DOWN! I can't get a lock on her, she's too fast!"On the field, the crew of Ehrgeiz One searched the skies, trying to track the beast that had already smashed two helicopters with ease. However, she was moving too quickly, blurring and zig-zagging all around. Finally, the girl grabbed on the cockpit. The pilots could only watch in horror as her claws broke through the glass. The girl then used strength that was completely unheard of for a grown bodybuilder, let alone a small girl to drag the helicopter down with her, crashing it into the ground in a fiery explosion. The soldiers on the ground took little time in opening fire on the guardian of the dome. Not that it did much good, as she used her speed and strength to tear through soldier with reckless abandon, not heeding the bullets hitting her tough skin. For you see, she was no mere girl, nor was she a mere Heartless. She was a piece of Tenebra. The "girl" was Tenebra's Hunger. A ravenous, constantly famished berserker that would only be satisfied by the consumption of Hearts, if only for a little bit. All it wanted was to consume any and all Hearts and it didn't care who it had to destroy to eat them. The Hunger is, for lack of a better phrase, a mindless, killing machine. After its rampage, the Hunger spread Its arms out. Hearts began to reveal themselves and then get sucked towards the Hunger's body before being absorbed into her. After It had Its feast, It clutched Its fists and let loose a ghastly shriek that caused the earth itself to quake beneath its sheer power. The Hunger had made Its presence known and Its message clear, without uttering a word. Stay away or face the consequences.

Squall has been in the city right when the whole incident had happened. There was screaming, chaos, and terror all over the town. It hadn't taken long before people were being evacuated and the dome of darkness completely encased the entire town. Squall knew that this wasn't the time to strike whatever had brought this darkness here. So for the time being, he simply waited to see what the military was going to do.
On the next day Leon showed up at the center of the town and watched the chaos unravel itself. Whatever the creature was it took out two helicopters with easy. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do to save them. The Lion knew he needed to act quickly or more people would lose their lives to this Heartless. So with his LionHeart in hand he began to make his way to the beast, but was stopped by his fierce roar which shook the ground itself.
With a sigh, Leon continued his march towards the creature and made sure he kept a good distance between himself and it. Once he was about 40 feet from the Heartless he pointed his gunblade at the creature. "Lets get this over with," Leon said with a very stern tone. Squall would fight this thing with all he has. Maybe if he was lucky he might just get some back up for this crazy Heartless girl.

“Don't worry! There will always be a door to the Light.”
| Mickey had decided this world would be the first one he'd visit from the many that formed the "Lost Worlds" this Cosmos woman had told him about in his dream. He'd heard Cid Highwind speak of this world before, but never had he really thought that such a place could really exist. The Keyblade King believed that the Realm of Darkness, or even the Keyblade Graveyard, were some of the most barren and forgotten worlds he'd ever seen... He was entirely wrong. The little mouse had never seen a world in such decay before--he could almost physically feel the pain the planet was going through, and it caused him quite a bit of distress. Every building, every soul, every tree and beast, seemed weary and hardened by a burden he could not even comprehend...A wound the planet was only just recovering, a war fought by people who had become legend and mythos to the people of this place. And strangely enough, the King knew many of those heroes without even knowing it.
But the King of Disney Castle was not focused on any of those things--instead, he was far too busy watching the helicopters become utterly crushed by this monstrous little girl...and found his heart stopping in his little chest.
"G-Golly! She's gonna destroy everything! I gotta do somethin', I gotta--" It was then that he spotted him; a familiar face amongst the chaos and turmoil that now blighted this new land--the Leader of the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee. As fast as his legs could carry him, he rushed to the Lionheart's side.
"Leon! That monster's gonna do some real bad damage to this place if we don't stop her!" His usually-cheerful face contorted into a serious, angry visage.
"We've gotta work together on this one. There's no tellin' how many she'd hurt, or how much damage she'd do to this world. Maybe we couldn't help Radiant Garden the first time, but we CAN help these folks avoid the same fate!"
Immediately, the Kingdom Key D, a glittering gold Keyblade, appeared in the monarch's hands with a shower of bright sparks and brilliant orbs, and the King took up an attacking stance. "I'll keep her busy--back me up, and let's hope we get some help coming in!" Without another word, the Keyblade Master leaped towards the source of the misery, prepared to strike quickly and fiercely at the little girl. He had no qualms about defeating her in the same way he had no remorse for Vanitas when he'd encountered him with Master Aqua--if this girl was going to hurt people...she was going to fall for it. The mouse struck, and struck hard, at the unprotected flank of the girl, aiming primarily to get her attention.
She was fast...but so was he.

Gaia had been on the mend but it seemed like things just did not want the planet to get better. Rude had seen the darkness happen the night before and how the ruins of Midgar was engulfed. It was not anything Sephiroth related. At least he felt it wasn't related to that man. He would make sure to see how things ended up before getting involved.
The next day proved to be horrendous! He watched as the military was taken down as they were checking out the black dome over old Midgar. A frown plastered over his face as chaos erupted in a large manner. Rude had taken upon himself to be nearby and ready to advance into attacking if necessary. Looked like his gut instinct hasn't failed him yet.
Tugging at his gloves, he adjusted his sunglasses as he ran to where the creature was at. The loud shriek and shaking of the ground was enough to cause him to halt for a moment. Making sure to regain his balance before heading towards the young female enemy. He had seen two other figures ahead of him reach her.
Both he had not met before but he had to give the mouse credit for making the first move. “Let's save this planet from being destroyed anymore than it already has been,” he said to Leon. Unsure if any others will come help them. Especially from the Turks division. Now he was wondering what he should make his first move to be.

It was a long trip home back to Edge from the Gold Saucer, located above the ruins of Old Corel, Barret's former home. the engine of the motorbike Fenrir roared behind the Fake-SOLDIER as he drove back through the plains, forests and mountain paths that he and his friend had walked a long time ago, on their quest to find and defeat Sephiroth. Memories of their journey returned to the spiky-haired youth as he passed landmarks and locations, causing a small smile to appear on his lips as he felt the rush of the air dance through his hair and ruffle through his clothing. Cloud Strife, of Strife Delivery Services, had decided that it was time to give the family a little treat. The kids would surely love it staying at the Haunted Hotel within the Gold Saucer with Tifa and having a few days to enjoy all the games, rides and shows that the world famous tourist attraction had to offer. Of course there were sad faces when Strife announced he would not be staying for the full duration, but a solid promise of returning before the vacation was over returned smiles to the faces of Marlene and Denzel. So here he was, returning home, on a pure gut feeling that something terrible was approaching and that the Delivery Boy was going to be needed to try help stop it. Of course, it could just be nothing at all and the fake-SOLDIER was simply wasting time he could be spending with Marlene, Denzel and of course, Tifa. However, Cloud's gut-feelings usually turned out to be true most of the time.
Night was falling by time the spiky blonde had pulled into Costa Del Sol. The usually heat-waved seaside resort was a much more comfortable and bearable temperature this time of evening. It had no impact on the liveliness of this place though. Holiday goers were still visiting the beach and flocking into and out of bars and taverns as they all enjoyed themselves. Staying sat upon the seat of Fenrir, Cloud slowly drove through the resort until he reached the docks, where the sound of tires upon solid stone changed to the wooden creaks of a pier. Boarding a boat for Junon, whose journey would take most of the night, the chocobo-haired youth took the chance to get some rest in one of the cabins. By time dawn broke, the Delivery Boy was already awake and sitting astride Fenrir, ready and waiting to hit the road and continue back home to Edge. He had had a rough sleep, mainly due to that gut-feeling he had growing worse and worse. Swallowing hard and ignoring it as best he could for the time being, Strife carefully drove his motorcycle off the ship and as soon as tires hit the asphalt of the highway, Strife unleashed the beast and let the engines rip, Fenrir roaring loudly as he sped down the road and out of sight.
A couple of hours passed before the iconic skyline of Midgar started to come into view, only... something was very different about it. Having to blink his glowing blue eyes a couple of times, unable to rub them due to his goggles, Strife stared at what looked like a massive sphere covering the entire city. There was no hesitation in his driving through, as Fenrir continued to roar beneath him. The only time power to the engines were cut was when the Delivery Boy pulled up atop of a cliff overlooking the Midgar and it's surrounding plains. A gravestone surrounded by the most gorgeous flowers sat peacefully upon the earth, clean and well maintained. Though now the once quite and calm location was ruined by whatever that large sphere was in the background. Cloud had wanted to pay his respects to his dearest friend who slept here, along with the girl in the pink dress, whose flowers now bloomed alongside her partner. However, it was no use. That Midgar-covering orb was far too distracting for the young man to concentrate on his friends, where he instead offered an apology. "Sorry you two... I'll come back, when I sort that out." His head nodded towards the sphere, the faces of the flower girl and The Puppy turning to glance at the sphere within Strife's mind, before they looked back at him and smiled, nodding their heads in understanding. Without delay, Cloud was back upon Fenrir whose engines once more roared with life, carrying the fake-SOLDIER towards Midgar.
Mass evacuation was already under way by the looks of things by time Strife rolled into the city. The WRO seemed to be leading the evacuation with more of their units stationed further within the city limits. Gunfire and explosions were reaching the blonde's ears and muffled static mixed with panicked words escaped the radios of passing WRO Soldiers. Something about a 'girl', though anything more then that was impossible to understand without having a radio to hand. Tires screeched against the earth as Cloud revved up Fenrir's engines and drove deeper into Midgar, coming to a halt and switching to travelling by foot when he drew closer to the main location of the action. Aside from the mysterious and, quite frankly, extremely powerful feeling girl that was zipping about with close to blinding speed, even for Cloud's SOLDIER enhanced eyes to follow, there were three figures that stood out whom he recognized. Rude, of the Turks was present and seemed as dedicated as ever to protecting his home. King Mickey of Disney Castle was present too and very much welcomed sight. His strength and knowledge would surely be invaluable. Finally there was Squall 'Leon' Leonhart. A sight for sore eyes indeed. One of the very few strangers away from his home world, whom Strife had complete trust in. Seeing that the WRO were getting slaughtered, the 'girl' pausing after consuming what looked like Hearts and let out a loud, earth shaking roar. Cloud summoned to his hand his Fusion Sword and proceeded to move forwards, reaching Rude's side.
"What's the situation, Rude?!" Strife asked as his mako-infused eyes watched the figure of the Mouse King rush in from behind the 'girl' and launch an attack. Gloved hands creaked tightly about the handle of Fusion Sword as the Delivery Boy took a firm grip, getting himself ready to jump in and attack should whatever that... 'thing' was, decide to come his way.

Leaving Valhalla in a swirl of red, skipping off into the ether with warp had been easy. Whatever 'gate' she had intended to use, Vincent hadn't trusted though her intentions had appeared to be pure. The pink haired girl with a heavy soul was left behind, while Vincent travelled to his intended target: Gaia. His home planet, the location he had been travelling to before he found himself diverted to the dark world being torn apart by Chaos. The reason for his visit there was unknown but the feeling that it was meant to be hadn't faded from his heart. He was coming to realise, through his strange experiences, that everything in the world had a purpose. His? Perhaps to help a girl, lonely and forgotten on a world eating itself, to remind her that the world was a lot bigger, and perhaps a lot madder, than she thought. If she were to follow him into the great beyond, Vincent would not know, for he was a difficult man to track.
Checking in with the WRO had been his first port of call. He wasn't easy to get a hold of, nor did he particularly like his position with the group, but Reeve had a way of making people feel motivated...or guilty. Although he still resented him a little for it, Vincent found helping the planet to be a good use of his time - a far better way to atone than slumbering in a cramped and uncomfortable coffin. The days of denial were behind him. The man who would have been his son was an insane wreck of a disaster, courting death and wreaking havoc in all places. Hearts and souls were nothing but toys to be painted red. It saddened his heart but there was nothing to be done now. The man whom Sephiroth was supposed to be was corrupted flesh, heart, mind and soul. There was nothing left now to save.
Speaking of saving, it appeared to him as though this planet couldn't keep itself out of trouble. A phone call from Reeve, a panicked one at that, spoke of Midgar and a darkness they had not seen since Nero. Hm. He wondered if it were the same, if he could, walk through it without harm. Vincent harboured once more than xenoform Chaos who was literally the corrupted soul of Gaia, a powerful raging entity destined to destroy all life for Omega's flight across the cosmos. The full range of Chaos's abilities was unknown to him for he had spent most of his life pretending he did not exist. There was no place for denial now. As Lightning had said: acceptance was the only way forward.
Vincent transformed into Crimson Mist, travelling quickly and without disturbance to Edge. The relief efforts were failing. The WRO was manned mostly but amateur well meaning children who had not the ability to defend themselves to any great degree, let alone anyone else. Although he admired their sentiment, he also thought Reeve should be doing more to train them. A good defence was a good strategy when one did not want to be the aggressor, but not being an aggressor did not mean violence would not come to you. Coming out of Crimson Mist Vincent walked up to the nearest WRO member. "Just get yourselves safe. We'll handle this," he said before stalking away towards a familiar Blond. Hm, and a familiar Brunette too.
"Cloud," he said. "It's been a while," he added, nodding to Leon whom he had already met previously on Radiant Garden. "Heartless," he said. "Upper level. Utilising darkness," he said, using what information the WRO had for him. It might be a Nobody. "I might be able to get through that unharmed. Not to sure about you though," he said honestly.
And honestly, it was a little weird to see a mouse dressed up but Cloud seemed to be taking it in his stride so Vincent assumed it was normal.

The girl growled and sniffed the air, like a hound that catches a scent in the air. If the destruction that she had left in her wake wasn't an indicator that this was no mere girl, her bestial behavior was certainly a mountain of evidence by itself. Hearts... powerful ones and they were zeroing in on her location. First was a man with a rather peculiar weapon. Another was a mouse whom this girl immediately disliked. The light that emanated from the mouse's heart pained her and she despised it. Three men then arrived shortly afterwards. The first was rather weak, easy prey but the other two were definitely on a level or two above the first. A normal opponent would assess the situation and realize that he or she was rather outnumbered. Not the girl... Not the Hunger. It growled and snarled, baring its razor-sharp teeth in an approximation of a smile. It stared at its opponents with a hungry look in its ey- where'd the mouse go? The girl sniffed the air, looking for the trail and saw the mouse just in time to block its strike with her arm. It flinched, stepping back in surprise. Looking at its arm, the strike cut into her arm, a shallow one despite the weapon's legendary qualities. However, even a shallow cut by a Keyblade was extremely harmful to the Heartless as the wound smoked like it had recently been set alight. The Hunger turned to the one who dared strike it and snarled again, staring into Mickey's eyes with sheer malevolence. The area started to stink of the Darkness that the Hunger emanated, clearly out of what little control there was. She begun to speak, something that her madness made difficult.
"K...K...K...Keeeeyyyblaaaaaade."
She hissed out the word with such hatred, one would have thought she was blaspheming a god. She then shrieked again, unleashing a call to the Darkness. A Heartless immediately teleported to the Hunger's side, a red and black version of the Bookmaster Heartless that had once infested Radiant Garden. It looked towards the Hunger and immediately cast an amber-colored light onto It. The Hunger's began changing to that same amber and her arms turned into stone, looking heavy as her body went limp. The girl then punched the ground and started lifting a huge slab of ground as the Tomemaster backed up, trying to get some distance from her. The girl was also not heeding whether or not Mickey was in the way. She was too angry, too filled with rage. With the huge slab of ground in her hands, the Heartless then spun in place before tossing the slab right at the Tomemaster Heartless, much like a discus thrower. The Tomemaster immediately put up a shield of Darkness to protect himself. The slab shattered, as did the shield and the pieces fell to the ground... and started forming. Soon, Golems of earth and darkness had formed, with heart-shaped holes in their chests. They saw the heroes that had gathered... and stalked towards them, ready to smash them to bits.
Meanwhile, the Hunger snarled at the Mouse again and flew to the helicopter wreckage. It grabbed one of the rotor blades and tore it off before charging at Mickey, swinging wildly at the little Keyblader. While they were inaccurate swings and the rotor blades were rather cumbersome improvisational weapon, the divots it was making in the road and concrete made it clear that they were also powerful swings.
[Call Tomemaster Heartless - The Hunger roars, calling a Heartless that looks much like a Bookmaster. However, instead of attacking the heroes, it casts a spell of a single element at the Hunger. This, in turn, attunes her aura to the element of the spell she was hit with and her physical attacks do additional things according to elements.
Earth: Hunger can lift a chunk of ground and throw it at the Tomemaster, who conjures a shield of Darkness around itself. The chunk breaks apart against the shield which also shatters. The pieces mix with the darkness shield pieces to form Heartless Golems. The Hunger can also, as another attack, morph her arms into arm-shaped slabs of work and charge an opponent. Once close, the Hunger punches the opponent away with its massive earthen hands.
All element attacks do Moderate damage (Or Heavy if opponent is weak to the element)
[5 Heartless Golems: 3 HP
[Element duration for Hunger's current element: 2 rounds
Tomemaster 10 HP
Element spell - Cooldown after duration: 2 rounds | Heartless Cooldown: Once per thread]

Before the mighty Lion could make the first attack, Mickey had came into help ultimately making his own attack first. Shortly after the Mouse made his arrival so did a man in a high end suit, Cloud, and Vincent. So out of the allies he has with him only the bald guy he doesn't know. However, this is no time to be messing around.
Leon knew he had to get his head into the game. So much had already happened in such little time. Squall watch how the Hunger tore the helicopter blade off with such ease and begun to swing it around like it was nothing. On top of that multiple Heartless had appeared. Quickly, Leon charged towards the closest Heartless near him and made a swift horizontal strike.
For a follow up, Squall spun around the Heartless attempting a downwards strike. Hopefully these Heartless would go down easy. The Lion figured if they take out the weaker Heartless they could help Mickey with ease. After all, minions can cause a lot of damage if not taken care of.

“Don't worry! There will always be a door to the Light.”
| The mouse king immediately swung back to his feet, his tiny frame balanced by his unusually large feet, as he straightened himself upright once again. He knew this battle had to be ended, and quickly...though not even close to the scale of power Mickey had heard Riku describe Ansem, Seeker of Darkness...this Heartless was definitely tough. He'd found that humanoid species tended to pack a lot more potency then their counterparts. It was apparent he'd done some substantial damage to her, because her reaction was apparent to the fact.
Nerve-wreckingly so. Mickey could say he was not afraid of a lot of things. After all, he was very brave, all things considering--he had to be, for his friends, for his family, for his world, and for the mantle he'd been bestowed by the Keyblade--but even he became afraid now and then. Fear kept him going. Fear kept him intelligent and wary of danger. He'd been afraid when he and Aqua had faced Vanitas. He'd been scared when he'd taken his Mark of Mastery exam. He'd been frightened when he'd lost all of his dear friends, or when he'd had to avert some of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness's plans behind the scenes. He'd been afraid when Riku had nearly fallen to darkness...he'd been afraid when Sora was sleeping. He'd been afraid when he'd faced Xemnas alone, and when he'd had to leave his friends behind. He was petrified when Master Xehanort had returned, and utterly mesmerized in fear when Sora had nearly been another victim to his plots.
He was afraid now...not nearly as much as he had been that horrible day, but still, he was afraid. But his fear did not rule him--it merely informed him. It showed him that this Heartless knew he was a danger...a danger she was quite willing to take out by any means. Currently, Mickey was rather afraid of the swinging helicopter blades. "Uh oh!" With speed and agility that could only be attributed to his tiny size and incredibly flexibility, the King of Disney Castle was only able to dodge a few of the swings before two of the final swipes finally clobbered him into a nearby canyon wall. With a thunderous thud and a pair of lungs suddenly deprived of air, the little mouse found himself very much acquainted with the terrain in a rather personal manner. But such a thing did not deter the Keyblade Master from his goal. If nothing else...it merely empowered him. "Oh, so that's the way ya wanna play, huh?"
It was then that this girl performed a strange attack, summoning forth a Heartless similar to that in which he'd seen in Radiant Garden, with a shriek that made the King's spine tingle. The two of them worked together, amplifying the girl Heartless's attacks. Rubbing his aching back, the King returned his Keyblade back to his hand, his resolve none-the-less firm than before...and this time, with a goal.
He hadn't noticed the others arrive until now, their forms just barely visible in the clouds of dust he and this Heartless had kicked up in their combat--he recognized Cloud Strife, one of the friends Leon had from Radiant Garden, followed closely in suit with a man in a black suit, and another gentleman who reminded Mickey ever-so-slightly of Cloud back when Sora, Donald, and Goofy had first met him...but the King pushed it off to the side. If Leon was friends with them, and Cloud, they were surely here for backup.
Cupping his hand to his mouth to amplify his volume, the little mouse shouted to his comrades. "Don't waste too much time with the little ones! Aim for that Book Master!"
Mickey was now fully focused on keeping the Heartless's attention on him, making sure the others had time to successfully deal with her playmates. Attention was definitely one of his strong suits, and despite his size, he certainly could hold his own against such a strong opponent. Focusing his inner strength, the Keyblade King summoned forth the power of the mighty cards of Castle Oblivion, throwing his Keyblade into the air. The weapon exploded in a shower of brilliant green sparks, which formed into a hailstorm of cards, raining down upon the field with startling speed and force. As the Kingdom Key D returned to his hand, Mickey then pounced again towards the Heartless girl, aiming another series of strikes along her body to ensure her mind didn't wander towards the others trying to save this world.

It was an odd sight to behold. A mouse attacking this creature of Darkness. When Cloud approached, Rude nodded in his direction of acknowledging his presence. “Well this girl is pretty much a one-man army like Sephiroth. But seems a lot more dangerous than he is.” He looked over as he saw Vincent appear and wondered just how many AVALANCHE members will be showing up to help fight this girl off.
As soon as the mouse had made contact, the creature shrieked again and this time summoned a Heartless to help out. “Well this is not looking good,” he said as he cracked his knuckles. The mouse was in trouble by the humanoid Heartless and they were on the verge of being distracted from helping out. Lovely. He glanced over when he heard the mouse speak to them.
“That's better said than done. Let's get to the Book Master as quick as possible, so we can help him out,” he said as he rushed forward to another Golem nearby. Focusing on attacking his intended target than to worry about the mouse for now. With a hard right and left, following up with a right uppercut, Rude used half his strength in order to test out just how strong these Heartless Golems were for their outer appearance.

[blo
A horrific screech came from the 'girl' that was apparently responsible for all of this, after the Keyblade held within King Mickey's grip sliced into the monsters back. Now that you thought about it, the words Vincent spoke made more sense now. Heartless were weak to the Keyblade and the 'girl' would surely have made less of a reaction were it a normal creature or monster of natural means. From observation alone, the Leader of AVALANCHE was able to see that the monster had tough skin, tough enough to deflect some of the power from the Mouse King's attack, unless Mickey himself had simply misjudged distance and only managed to graze his target. Regardless, there was no denying that whatever this creature was had untold power. Perhaps not on the same level as Sephiroth had, as according to Rude, but the only way Strife would find out the answer to that would be by fighting this 'girl' himself. Heartless were drawn to the Keybarers though, both for the strength of their heart and because of the Keyblade that they wielded in battle. Perhaps it might not be too hard to land some blows on the 'girl' while it was distracted with the Mouse King.
Glancing to his side, he watched both Vincent and Rude carefully as they spoke to him. It was good to see Vincent again, but Rude, well... he was probably the calmest and more controlled of all the Turks, so out of all of them, Rude was probably the one Cloud would most likely get along with. At the end of the day though, Rude was still a Turk and the Turks were still Rufus ShinRa's bodyguards and Rufus ShinRa did try to kill both himself and the Planet. Shaking those thoughts out of his head though, for his really wasn't the time nor place to be thinking of old memories, Strife nodded his head to Valentine and offered him the smallest of smiles in acknowledgement. ”You too Vincent. You're looking well.” The Delivery Boy spoke up as he returned his attention back onto the fight between Mickey and the Heartless 'girl'. Mako-blue eyes narrowed as he watched the 'girl' summon another Heartless to aid her, in which she tossed a large piece of earth into a shield the Tomemaster had summoned about itself. This in turn caused the shattered pieces of shield and earth to merge together, creating more Heartless to deal with. Leon was quick to act, running forth and getting stuck in with the second wave of summoned Heartless. Rude was in hot pursuit too, engaging one of the smaller Heartless.
Stone crunched underfoot as the fake-SOLDIER turned to look at his old caped comrade. ”Vincent, give Leon and Rude a hand with the Heartless, both big and small. Once they're dealt with, come assist me in backing up King Mickey.” Glancing back to the scene before him, Cloud took in a sharp breath of air into his lung before rocking back onto his heels. Pausing a moment, be then lurched forwards and dashed off in a sprint towards the Heartless 'girl' and the Mouse King, Fusion Sword in hand. One of the five Heartless Golems though had spotted the Delivery Boy's sprint towards the 'girl' and moved to intercept him. With a frown spreading across his lips, Strife brought his Fusion Sword up and held the blade at chest height, the tip pointing out before him towards the Golem. ”Don't have time for you!” He spoke aloud as he suddenly burst forwards with tremendous boost to his speed, unleashing his Sonic Blade attack. A trail of dust was kicked up in Cloud's wake as he zipped past the Heartless Golem, striking the creature with Fusion Sword as he passed. He then turned about on the spot and zipped past the Golem a second time, striking out once more.
After completing all five passes of the Golem, Cloud turned on his heels and resumed his charge towards the Heartless 'girl' and the Mouse King. The creature Mickey faced off against had now managed to equip itself with a weapon; a helicopter rotary blade, to which it used with great effect in eventually catching Mickey and swatting him away as if he were a rag doll. A cloud of dust was kicked up from the impact of the Mouse King crashing into a nearby building, but a Keybarer as tough as Mickey would be able to recover from that... right? Either way, a fiery blue aura spread down the length of Fusion Sword as Strife swirled the weapon about in two to three full rotations, holding the weapon behind his back afterwards. Drawing nearer to the Heartless 'girl', Strife leaped up high into the air, where he pulled his weapon out from behind his back and held it in a two-hand grip over his head. Using gravity to his advantage, the Delivery Boy plummeted down upon the 'girl', unleashing his Braver attack and aiming a single, heavy strike for the 'girls' head.

There was no denying it. It really was weird to see a Mouse attack a Heartless, or even see one that was bigger than the size of his foot. Hm. King Mickey, this must be. Mickey...the mouse? Vincent felt oddly amused and vaguely disconcerted. It wasn't every day one saw a mouse attacking a female designed heartless hell bent on destroying the world, again. Evil should really learn than whenever Cloud was around, it should just give up because the super soldier had a force inside so good and pure that it could burn away the darkness. Probably the other two as well. Himself? Vincent was technically a neutrality in a universe of taking sides. Although he had a tendency to fall on the side of good, he might just help the bad side too, if it was useful in the long run.
"You mean, I'm finally getting some colour into my cheeks," he replied wryly. He said it in his usual monotone but Cloud should know him well enough by now to know he was making a joke. if they could not be light hearted in such dark times, when could they be? This was becoming disturbingly routine for them: fighting evil side by side, exchanging a few words and parting ways again. it wasn't that he didn't like Cloud: he just wasn't much a conversationalist. Or a people person. Hm. He was supposed to be working on that.
Vincent watched the shower of cards with interest. "Impressive," he commented, more to himself than anyone else before striding over passed Rude. As he passed the tall bald headed man, he said "Thought you travelled in pairs," he rumbled. "Aren't you missing your better half?" he asked, because being a Turk was like being married. Vincent knew this. His own partner had been Verdot but he wasn't sure if the other Turk knew that. Certainly he remembered being present with Verdot woke Vincent up and his assistance in getting them out of ShinRa Manner alive with the materia they sought. Maybe not. They had other things to worry about: like the end of the world. Was this planet ever out of trouble? It didn't seem like it. Perhaps that's what came with having a planet that was sentient.
Deciding the Golems would be easily taken care of by the other two, Vincent headed for the Tomemaster, a large book like heartless and attacked it using Nightmare. Vincent slashed at the Heartless with his golden gauntlet and stabbed at it with his sharp pointed shoes in a combination of seven moves.
