Everything was cold; it felt as if she were asleep; though she remained awake. Her eyes averted away from the light once the darkness around her began to fade out, turning back she noticed the darkness had evaporated away into nothingness. Audrey shuddered at the sight of such trickery, completely baffled upon the sight of the missing portal that had taken her from the comfort of her mechanic shop. What the hell was that!?" she thought with much panic Maybe this is all just a dream!

as the idea dawned on her. She quickly gave herself a pinch to test it out, sadly the strange land was still here and so was Audrey. ***** As her footsteps echoed on the cobblestone streets Audrey took in her surroundings for the first time. There were cobblestone roads that led through the streets in complex patterns and variations, some going off into alleyways with others going down streets and closed off areas. Currently she was following one that appeared as if it would lead to some place of high civilian population, hopefully one would help her with locating her current place in which she was. As she walked further she began to pass some building which appeared to house people in them, they were all small rough little buildings with different cobblestone designs from the next each one wearing a quaint little brown roof. Audrey contemplated dropping in on one and demanding answers, though she thought it best to "Make Friends" in a situation such as this, due to her having the underhand. As she finally approached what appeared to be a square with shops surrounding the edges of town. This is probably a Market Place of some sort. It might be best if I hunt down a shop keeper. She thought as she strolled through the market street. Once Audrey had gotten closer she approached a small vendor booth about to give him a piece of her mind, when she let out a shriek and tumbled back. "ES QUE UN PATO!?" She screeched out in her native language of Spanish; she tried avoiding it whenever possible, a lot harder to understand her in Spanish. The weird anthropomorphic duck creature before her and tried to mumble something out, though Audrey brushed it off with a sorry and went on her way. Secretly Audrey was more scared than ever, but she would never be one to let down her tough girl act. As she passed more "colorful" residents, Audrey's face grew more sullen than ever as she kept getting a reminder how far away she was from home, from family... Though she trudged through over to a small little diner on the other side of the square, perhaps a human ran it? At least that's was Audrey hoped. [/blockquote]

It was a calm, peaceful, semi-eventful day in Radiant Garden. People were walking around having a good time, going about their daily business. In the shopping area, business was bustling as usual. It was here that the leader of the recently formed Academy in Radiant Garden would be found today. While normally held up in the Academy building, Hope was actually taking care of other things today. He was doing some shopping, checking on the town, and getting some much needed air. It had been far too long since he had last been out to breathe the fresh air. So much work to do, so many issues to resolve. It was at the suggestion of his friends that he step out more often so he didn't work himself crazy.
In the town while Hope was walking around, he would hear someone yelling out in a language he did not understand. Was there someone that wound up here and was now lost? Was something happening where someone needed help? Hope would head in the direction of where the yelling came from. He was looking for someone who seemed out of place...like they weren't from this world. It was then that he noticed someone that looked very out of place. A young lady with darker skin. Her clothes were rather simple, and by general observation Hope could tell she was from a different world. It was time for Hope to do what he did best. He would walk towards the girl who was now walking through the crowd. Probably lost, confused, and a little scared being on a world you've never been to before. Hope knew that he would have to handle the situation delicately.
"Excuse me miss. I'd like to speak with you for a moment." Hope would catch up to the young miss and put a hand on her shoulder. "I noticed you spoke in a different language from what people are used to here. I might be able to help you." Hope would remove his hand and smiled. "I'm Hope Estheim. I run an organization on this planet known as the Academy. I am guessing by your clothes and how you were speaking that you are not from around here. Not many people in town will be able to help you. I can offer to bring you to the Academy where we'd be able to get you situated and be able to help you with anything you need if you'd like." Hope kept sincere with his words and smile, looking to aid the young lady who seemed to be very out of place.
