It was a young voice, a voice unlike his own that the sleeping boy heard, one that was awfully familiar to him. The boy could not see anything yet though, as he drifted in the peaceful slumber of not darkness, but a warm comforting white light that completely engulfed and circumnavigated his entire being and soul. It was not a blinding light that hurt one's eyes, at least not those that were aligned with the light and all that was good; more like a blank page, where the boy's dreams could leap to life off the page. In this circumstance, it reflected the boy's heart of his fondest memories with his two best friends, within the world of the Land of Departure atop the Summit. It was here he was currently experiencing a dream, where he believed he was sitting on seats overlooking large building they all lived and trained in together, where they sat and wished innocently upon stars to become virtuous Keyblade Masters. But the disembodied voice continued to call for him. "That's your name, isn't it? Or what your friends called you... Ven." came the voice, and even though the speaker could not be seen at the moment, one couldn't help but feel they had a satisfied smile in their tone. A light from the starry nebula streaked down towards them, but instead of disappearing over the horizon, it grew larger and slower as it floated from the heavens. "It was you... wasn't it? All those years ago, I can barely remember a strange place where your heart came to me, in trouble and lost... and then in turn you saved me from the darkness when I needed it most of all. I wanted to thank you for that." the voice spoke cryptically, speaking perhaps of things Ventus was not aware of, but it was sincerely appreciative. The light now approaching and almost as large as Ventus himself, Aqua and Terra next to him not noticing but instead smiling and talking as if they could not see it. "I looked everywhere for you, you know... but, it's funny. I lost a friend a long time ago, and all along she was right with me, right here where you are now. I'm so glad I finally found you." the voice continued, and one by one, the dream images of Terra and Aqua by Ventus' side vanished into thin air, and out of the large light that floated down before Ventus came a silhouette. As he stepped out of the light the silhouette became a familiar boy in red, with giant yellow shoes, spiky brown hair and a big smile plastered on his face. The world of the Land of Departure faded away, becoming a Station of Awakening, with the boy's image and all those beloved by the boy including Ventus, his friends and a black-haired girl as part of the stain-colored glass. "Ven." Sora's heart spoke around him, where Ventus now was leaving as he floated up and away from Sora, into the shining light above them as Sora smiled and waved before everything went white. "Time for you to wake up." --- Sora opened his eyes, and smiled, unclutching his hand from his chest. He looked up at his surroundings of the building he was standing before, Castle Oblivion. Sora did not remember the place, but Aqua had told him that this was the place she had hidden the friend who had lost their heart, and he felt as he landed upon the world the boy once again needed him to awaken him. Ven, one of the people who had been waiting for him. At least, a part of him... his heart had always been within his, hadn't it? That had been why he had, in that once short moment within a dream, seen an image of a dark version of himself from Young Xehanort. From a chance encounter in Twilight Town, all had been revealed to him about the many other hearts he had unknowingly given refuge to besides Kairi's and even Roxas, and stepped up the steps towards the castle to open the door. Getting the strangest case of deja vu as he transcended the staircase and into the entrance hall, this time there would be no confusion in the meeting; this time, he had answers that needed to be heard urgently by the people who had been waiting within his heart all along, and reunite with their friends to stop their pain once and for all. (OOC: Sorry it's late, tried to make it short and sweet, so there's no expectations on posting length or anything!
