Many of those things are matters that no human in their right mind would ever want to go through. Many of things she lived through are things that she desired to inflict upon others. That is why she moved. That is why the pain was being pushed to the side by a calm mind. A calm mind reinforced by the repeated beatings of father time. That is why she would not stop.
Her last move upon the forces of light was under the fury of nature's skies. The droplets of rain soaked her from top to bottom, and made flying an impractical idea. There was also the fact her side was throbbing harshly, and the stings of burns on her wings pretty much guaranteed she'd need to give her extra limbs a break. They lasted just long enough to glide into the broken doorway of the ballroom, something that she was partially responsible for its creation. Her magical force levitated the stormed on body of a fifteen year old girl, while the mind in it began formulating the next move of this war game.
As any soldier could tell you, war was not just a figure of speech used to define physical death. Quite the opposite, as the unsung villains of war also happened to be equally as disastrous for the living. Psychological trauma was what she was aiming for tonight, as she moved through the castle's halls. The woman gazed and gathered her magic, beckoning the forces to push the effects of time. Roman numerals spiraled around her mobile frame, as her body and mind felt a sudden lightness to it. She was now under the effects of haste, clearly displayed by the increase of movement and channeling speed. It wasn't a necessary measure, but what good would being modest do here?[/style] | [atrb=vAlign,top][style=margin-top:5px; width: 90px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; text-align: center; font-weight: bold; background-color: #680000; color: #f9f9f9; text-transform: uppercase; padding: 3px;]ACTIVE EFFECTS:[/style][style= color: b3b3b3; font-size: 8px; font-family: century gothic;] Cooldowns: - Ultima: 1/3 - Subjugation: 3/10

She would have to do this more often; though her method would probably shift from vandalism to murder. That was a bit more suitable. Screaming pieces of furniture just didn't do the angel justice. It just weirded her out.
The harbinger of annihilation had a bit of time to work with. She assumed that the forces of light would have to make their way around the long way, as none gave off the impression of having a more expedient mode of transportation like flight or teleportation. Her swords toppled suits of armor, sliced cleanly at pillars and desecrated various works of art in the castle. Under the influence of time's blessings, the west wing was ravaged in but a few minutes. Her handiwork wasn't quite to the finesse of a band of mountain thieves, but it would have to do. She tested the thought of even being remotely linked with filthy heathens such as they.
All that was left to do was set fire to it, and let the flames of war do the rest. A place of fond memories during the earlier moments of her trip to this world. She dismissed her weapons once more and opened the doors to the decorated area. A small moment was spent in reflection, as the angel's face became solemn for the time being. Her respect for knowledge and the artisans that forever pursued it was not a hidden fact to those who studied her lore. In fact, it was almost sad in a way, having to waste such a grand collection the beast she slaughtered moments ago.
The feeling lasted for only a split second.
Altima spawned her blades once more and launched a piece of furniture into the window with a two part motion. First came a hilt smash to prop the polished wooden chair up, and then came the swing with the blunt of the blade to strike it out. The howling winds and rain charged into the new opening, reminding the lucavi that the foul weather was still present. She cared not for the moisture, but the wind would be useful in a bit.
Her two fold attack was used once more to kick the furniture into the bookshelves and into the doorway. Shards of wood were scattered about and pages of damaged book floated about in the destruction. Her hands swung to cleave Beast's collection, rending the work of authors and scattering more paper to the air. Altima landed from her blade dance in the center of the room, with a sickening smile on her face.
The tint of red in her eyes flashed repeatedly in this flurry of explosions. Her gaze spiraled all around the room, hyper heating the air and igniting it into a series of fiery explosions within the vast walled room. The burning fever, the dancing flames, and the push of the stormy wind all led to her fiery pit to begin branching out into further of the castle. She was sure that smoke would begin to be seen from the center most room of the keep, but it mattered not to her.
There Altima stood, arms spread out and gazing in splendor of the burning library. Bookshelves crumbled under the burning heat, and the fallen paper crumbled into naught but embers. Her background matched the blood red attire of Ivalice's High-Seraph. Fires of war danced in worship to their liege, and she reveled in it.[/style] |

The sheer destruction from the spell had been astronomical. Beast and Sora had managed to combine powers somehow, the boy who was the key to everything managing to throw some of his own powers towards Beast. It was a thrilling sensation, to feel the power coursed within, and it had pushed the angel on high higher up, but Beast had almost as soon as starting his Limit technique, nearly lost all the will The fire and ferocity that boiled and churned within his blood was quelled and frozen by the destruction of the castle's foyer and ballroom. The stones fell and cascaded down in such a way that Beast felt a sting within his heart. That which was his, his den, his home, had been invaded and destroyed by the spell.
Beast clutched his fists even tighter, but the will was nearly lost, his fist loosening. How could he ever hope to hold his own against someone with so much power? He had to seem like a maggot to such a person. It was the Enchantress again, but worse. He heard the screams of some of his servants as they fought to run and hide, the castle at risk. He thought he could even hear the castle itself scream in agony, and in his heart, the Beast Screamed. He howled a pained how of emotion, his body weakened from the effects of battle, and he only had what little strength he had in reserve. How could he continue with this? He glanced to his wrist, where a device had been placed by Hope, leader of that academy back in Hollow Bas.... Radiant Garden. It had been damaged by the swords slicing through his wrists, but the weird trinket was now blinking with a light, red. A beacon? A signal? The Beast dd not know.
Seeing the reflections in the glass caused panic to rise again in Beast though when he saw smoke in the reflection, rising from the West Wing of the castle. “No...” he gasped, voice low as he looked to the smoke and his eyes widened. “NO!” he roared, running to follow after the angel and literally clambering over the castle debris, his injuries bleeding yet further despite the curaga he received, and his muscles straining on overdrive. She was burning the castle now, and it was spreading fast. It'd become an inferno soon if the servants didn't do their hardest to fight it back. And there was the rose! What if it was caught in the fire? What if Belle Was?!
With each lunging leap through the debris and into the castle, The Beast's heart grew with worry and fear. Fear for the rose, fear for Belle.
Fear for himself.

It had been just another day at Academy HQ at Radiant Garden. Snow found himself walking around the HQ. He was still trying to get acquainted with the place. The fact that Hope was able to put all of this together still amazed Snow. He knew that Hope had grown up through all the traveling that they did together. Snow knew that Hope grew from all the trials that he had been forcefully put through, from losing his mother and plotting for revenge because he believed that Snow was the the reason why his mother was dead, which to this day, Snow still feels that he could have done more to protect Hope's mother, to thinking whether or not he was strong enough to travel with Lightning, Snow and the others.
Snow knew that he was a part of the Academy, but he still felt that everything was just a huge mess. He lost Serah when he disappeared, he still hadn't found Lightning or any of the others... Snow felt like he was falling, he felt like...he was failing. Snow stuffed his hands in his pocket as he walked about inside the Academy headquarters, greeting others with a smile on his face as he walked by those he knew and even those he didn't. Snow knew he had to do something about this whole thing soon... He knew and felt that it had to be him in order for Lightning, Serah, and the others to be found. He knew he had the Academy but its views were too broad. It was not that Snow had a problem with it, he didn't. After all, he felt that the Academy was just a grand version of his own paramilitary organization NORA. Snow knew it was selfish but he had to find Lightning, Serah, and the others...before it was too late...Snow was thinking about talking to Hope about this when suddenly an alarm went off. Snow's train of thought was broken at the sound of the alarm. A messenger had come to Snow, telling him that Hope needed to see hi immediately. Snow complied and left to see Hope.
Once Snow met up with Hope, he was with not only Hope himself but two others just as well. Jecht, whom Snow had met when they participated in the Blitzball tournament in Luca and a young woman named Yuna. Hope tells the three of them about how an animal known as Beast was in trouble. Hope told them that the four of them were to act as the rescue team, they were to go to the world where he was in trouble and assist him. Snow smirked happily, finally some action was going down. Hope told the three of them that they were to use Snow's airship and once they find the world that Beast was one, they were to help him out and stomp on anybody that tries to hurt him. Snow pounded his fists together in happiness and once Hope gave the order to move on out, Snow was the first one out the door and into his airship. Once Hope, Yuna, and Jecht got on, Snow fired up the engines and blasted out into the sky and headed straight for the world that Beast was on.
Once Snow got to the world, his crystal blue eyes immediately caught the sight of a huge castle in flames. Snow headed directly there, with his gut telling him that was where all the trouble is. He flew full speed to the scene of trouble and landed the airship. He opened the doors and ramp to the airship and got up from his seat.
"Alright, people, let's go to work!!!"
Snow ran out of the airship and ran a bit to the burning castle. He clenched his fists and his trenchcoat began to glow gold as Snow began to activate his weapon, the Wild Bear. The Wild Bear was a trenchcoat of AMP technology which held strength boosting emblems in the forms of various patches that resemble the face of a bear and runes sewn onto the back of his jacket. These patches and runes made themselves known as they began to fade into visibility. He waited for the others to come along. Normally, he would go charging on his own but since he was a part of a team, he figured this time, he could wait for them and see what Hope wanted to do about the whole situation.

Jecht’s day was anything but enjoyable today. After Hope had made him the head of public affairs he was constantly bombarded with paperwork. Each day it was the same thing over and over and by the time he had finished all the paper work each day the sun had set a long time ago. This day seemed to doomed to the same fate as the rest wasted stuck inside of his office doing paperwork most of which he didn’t understand what it was about. Looking outside from his window and seeing the people running around in the streets made him remember the streets of his home. Zanarkand even though it was just a dream world it still was real to him.
It wasn’t long before Jecht’s mind wandered off to daydream about his life in Zanarkand. Jecht was now in the middle of a blitzball game, but not just any blitzball game it was the championship match against the Zanarkand Duggles. Jecht was rushing to the goal as Duggles came right at him to block him from getting to the goal. Jecht smiled he knew this wouldn’t be enough to stop him he lined up his famous Jecht shot and fired it off knocking out both of the duggles before it flew right into the goal past the goalie. With the goal he scored the buzzer went off ending the match Jecht had won the championship match against them. His team was swimming over to congratulate him.
His moment of glory would be shorted lived soon an alarm ranged out causing him to snap back to reality. Jecht quickly hopped over his desk and smiled as he opened his door. An alarm meant that something was going on it was an excuse for him to get out of doing his paperwork and do something interesting for once. Just as Jecht reached his door a messenger stood there telling him that Hope needed to see him right away. Jecht ran towards Hope’s office he was the first one there and was told to wait for the others to arrive there. Yuna was next to arrive Jecht hugged her and waited for the last person to show up. It was Snow a guy he met playing blitzball one day he had made for a great goalie. Hope told them that the Beast needed help thats what this alarm was about. The four of them were to be a rescue team to help anyone that needed medical attention.
Jecht was getting ready to turn into pryflies and travel to the world via his own will when Hope said they would be using Snow’s airship to get to the world. Jecht had never been on an airship so he had no idea what to expect as they took off in it. It was strange how similar the feeling of riding on the airship was to sailing out in the ocean. At least that’s how it felt to him. It didn’t take long for the four of them to arrive at the castle that belonged to the Beast. From the airship up in the sky he saw a the flames rise up all around the castle he knew something was wrong. Jecht wasn’t going to wait for Snow to land, no Jecht was going to jump out of the airship and dive into the castle. Jecht smiled at Yuna and said "Yuna hang on were going to jump.”
Jecht forced opened a side door after Yuna grabbed onto his back and leaped out of the airship towards a window. Jecht moved his arms to cover his face and cover a bit more of Yuna. He hopped that no damage would come to Yuna as he crashed though a window and landed in a hallway inside of the castle. Jecht stood up after he landed in the hallway. Looking over at Yuna with a smile across his face. So far this was much better than sitting in his office doing paperwork. “Lets go Yuna.” Jecht could smell now smell the smoke. He knew this wasn’t good they need to get in and out as soon as possible or else they could be swallowed up by the flames and the castle crashing down on top of them.

It had been a relatively uneventful day at the Academy. More of the members were about today, but nothing major was happening. As Hope sat in his office handling paperwork, a notice would pop up on his computer. Something seemed odd about it though. When he opened up the notice, it was an emergency alarm notice stating that the team that went to Beast's castle needed back up. Hope would immediately stand up and pull up list of who was on standby today. Jecht, Snow, and Yuna where the names that caught his attention. He would immediately sound an alarm and call for the three over the loudspeaker. When they arrived, Hope would have his boomerang in hand ready to move.
"Beast's castle was under siege and the team sent there to defend it has called in for emergency assistance. We will be taking Snow's airship to his world and provide immediate backup. Yuna; you're our medical specialist. Prepare as you need and meet up with us at Snow's aircraft. Jecht and Snow; you'll be on support and offense in case the enemy is still there." Hope then headed out with the team and to Snow's airship. To send the emergency signal meant there was a high level of danger. If Beast an his team needed support, Hope was worried that the team he just formed might not be enough.
By the time they got there, the castle was damaged and in flames. "Damn, we better not be too late. The objective is search and rescue. Put out the flames as we go. If people need immediate treatment, Get them able to be moved to Snow's ship." Hope quickly got off and ran into the castle, casting Watera to put out the flames in the main hall. "There should be 4 Academy personell." Hope rushed forward, down a hall or two. He then saw Beast running by at an alarming rate. Hope chased after him, though quickly fell behind due to the castle debris. "Beast!" Hope then noticed a strange, unknown figure ahead. "Beast, stop!" Hope noticed that Beast was injured before falling behind. What had happened here and who was Beast chasing?

Lumiere stood in front of the small pedestal that withheld the most sacred item within the entire castle upon it... the rose. As Lumiere gazed upon the shimmering beauty that the rose gave off reminded Lumiere of all the harm a little nudge could do to the fragile rose, most certainly any sort of force from the attacker would surely ensure its fate. As Lumiere looked about the tattered and torn once majestic Master bedchamber, this room hadn’t been damaged by the attacker, but by Master himself in a rage after becoming the Beast. Once the attack had started the castle began their normal procedures of hiding away especially though they all took it rather lightly most of the time heartless were weak creatures, so they had assumed this woman to be one as well. As time passed she proved much stronger, so strong she had seriously injured the Beast as well as a multitude of Lumiere’s fellow servants.
I hope Madame Belle is alright. Lumiere thought as it had popped into his head, poor Belle hopefully she hadn’t run into the wicked woman. Lumiere wasn’t sure on the situation Belle, Master, and everyone else was in serious danger if they could not escape this woman soon. Though where would they go, and what would they do? So many questions that needed answers, as well as how to transport the rose out of the castle without the woman noticing it and realizing it to be of importance with the need to escape with it, Lumiere shuddered as a cruel vision of “she loves me not” being played with the rose was imagined in his head. He brushed it aside while he tried to put the real plan of action into his head, how to escape with the rose. The glass case and the rose were too heavy for Lumiere’s dainty body and slippery candles for hands, he had to gain help from another, a human... Belle.
As Lumiere slowly emerged from the dark Master bedchamber, he hopped his brassy figure through the dark and smoky halls. Why is there smoke?
|
Lumiere thought to himself for a moment then it hit him, she was burning the castle. Burning the castle, that couldn’t be good and would only lead to bigger problems. Quickly Lumiere hopped as fast as he could out of the west wing; it was not until he had begun to approach the stairwell that he had seen it. The Library was up in smoke and Lumiere was standing next to it, he had a choice to make, the Rose or Master. Finally Lumiere, who preferred not to fight, decided it best to give something to stall the twisted woman over with until the Beast could help save him he hoped. As Lumiere entered the Library he braced himself for the worst and that is what he had seen, almost everything was burning. As he drew in nearer into the Library he felt some of his wax begin to drip down his forehead, he was melting. If Lumiere wanted to stall her now was his chance, “Bonjour, Madame. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you’re not welcome here.” [/blockquote]

Belle's mind was racing. There was no time...very little time to think. Beast, where was he? Had he been injured? Her friends, the inhabitants of the Castle, where were they? The whole place seemed turned upside-down and unrecognizable. All she knew was that a catastrophic battle had been fought, and the Castle had taken heavy damage. If the Castle looked the way it did now....how had the warriors fared? She prayed they weren't hurt badly...and if they were, she would do what she could to aid them..but her first priority was safety and the safety of her Castle Companions. She needed to find them...find Beast...and the Rose. She set off at a brisk pace, passing the destroyed ballroom (mourning its ruin) and came to the main hallway of the Castle. Outside, or West Wing?? She heard a distant roar, uncertain where it was coming from, but she knew the sound well. Her heart hurt with worry. Beast..where are you??? The question echoed in her mind, not spoken aloud. She prayed she could find him in time...if he was hurt..she would never forgive herself if she didn't help him.
Smoke..Belle could smell it, thick and heavy in the air, large dark clouds of it. Where was it coming from? Was she in a safe place from them? What of her friends? Fire would destroy everything...the downpour outside wouldn't be able to quench a fire this big....surely not. She hurried up the stairs to the West Wing, hoping to find someone, anyone. She almost didn't notice the destroyed appearance of the corridor, but it struck her as odd, in the back of her mind, the part that seemed to pick up on things like this. Someone had been through this way...and completely destroyed the place..and not with claws. It hadn't been Beast. She coughed on the thick smoke, realizing just how hot it was here..and then she saw the door to the library was open, and the fire inside. And standing just inside the doorway was Lumiere.. He was speaking to someone..
"Lumiere..who are you talking to? What's going on?? Her heart sank at the sight of the destruction in her most treasured room of the Castle..the loss of all the wonderful books, and those literary worlds that would never be explored now. She moved so she could see the person Lumiere was addressing.

A distinct Crimson trial had been left behind from the Beast, pouring from his chest wound and wrists. That he was even able to continue this much was startling. In fact, he was barely moving, and after bounding over the debris, Beast found himself quickly out of breath. He ran with all his might, the pure adrenaline and fright being what kept him moving at this point. He had to get further in, had to save the rose. Had to save Belle! Clambering up the stairs into the west Wing, Beast was barely able to round a corner, his body slamming into some of the suits of armor that had now begun to awake and move to help in the defense of this castle, former guards kept to their duties even in this accursed life. Many of the staff had begun to help in preventing the castle from falling. Mrs. Potts and her Children, Cogsworth, Fife, they all were doing their part. But would it be enough? Could it stop what might very well be the inevitable?
Beast had never noticed the airship arrive over le château de la fleur, his castle, and even as new people arrived on the scene to help, Beast did not stop. The castle was turning quickly into an inferno, set on by the fire burning within the West Wing Library. Oh how Belle would not be happy about all of that lost knowledge. So much lost… But he could not think on that. If Belle was there, like she normally was, then that ran even greater risks! What if this fallen seraph learned of his Weakness for the rose and Belle? Then he’d be even more just something to be kicked. He had to get there.
The Fire and smoke was getting thicker, and the castle here was losing support from the main area. A piece of the roof fell, striking Beast running beneath in the exact same spot as that great war hammer had hit, causing a roar of pain. Beast still ran though, his hip twisted and shattered. He turned yet another corner to see the woman in the Library, and if he was not mistaken, Lumiere and Belle! He did not hear the familiar voice of the director Hope behind him giving orders, nor did he notice just how large the crimson trail now had become. A chunk of ceiling collapsed again, smashing onto the ground hard as a second fell and struck Beast’s back, knocking him to the ground and pinning him. “LUMIERE! GET BELLE OUT OF HERE!” Beast yelled, trying to force the massive piece of ceiling off him. However, his strength had waned, and things were becoming fuzzy to the Beast’s eyes. He was out of breath, and his legs could not longer support his three hundred pounds of weight. “Leave…” He muttered, unable to howl and roar as he wished, his body collapsing limp from the blood loss and shattered bones. His mind left consciousness as his body slumped, breathing but weak. His injuries were severe, bordering life threatening, if he was not removed soon…
Beast has fallen Unconscious and will remain out of the thread. The castle is collapsing but can be saved, but is quickly becoming a fire hazard.

Yuna waited to make sure the patient understood, then quickly left to see what was needed of her. As Yuna entered Hope's office, she didn't even realize that Sir Jecht had been called until he had hugged her. Shortly after returning the hug, Hope started explaining things. She did not even have to worry about asking what was the problem. For a moment she was a little surprised he did not want to call in the Head of the Medical Department, instead all Yuna did was nod. "I won't let anyone down." Once on the airship, Yuna did her best to keep calm and watched the sky roll over Snow's airship. Wasn't long until the destruction was in sight and her eyes went big in worry. The Castle was in flames, help was sorely needed quickly. Disasterrific. Only thing she could think of at the moment was people in dire need of assistance. Before she could give it much thought, Yuna heard Jecht speaking to her. Returning the grin, Yuna nodded. "Right. Lets go." Right after Jecht opened the side door, Yuna gripped on to Jecht's back and braced herself for the jump. Yuna's closed her different colored eyes and let the wind hit all sides of her. Before she knew it, they were both in the Castle that was engulfed in flames. This really had to be done as quickly as possible. Help is here. Yuna called out silently to the victims. "How could anyone do this?" Yuna rhetorically questioned. Looking at Jecht, Yuna nodded. "We need to hurry." It was during times like this when Yuna wished she still had her Black Mage dressphere. A moment later, Yuna heard a roar and a desperate command to get someone out of the Castle. Her immediate thought was to run in that very direction. Without another thought, Yuna broke into a run towards the area. Parts of the ceiling and columns were falling and with the occasional crunch of a warning. Before she knew it, Yuna was facing a furry creature that was under a massive chunk of the ceiling. A red trail of blood went from the creature and all around. Yuna ran over to it and looked down. His breath was still there, but the he was weak. "Help is here, hang on!" Yuna desperately said as she stood up and quickly changed to her White Mage dressphere. Not even making sure Sir Jecht was with her, Yuna called out to him anyways. "Sir Jecht! Can you lift this off him?" Yuna asked and closed her eyes for a moment. While her eyes were closed, Yuna cast Curaga on the Beast.[/ul] ----- White MageCuraga: Cures a massive amount of health to self or an ally. (Cooldown: four posts).

Things were looking beyond bad. The castle was burning down and Snow was sure that Beast was inside. Jecht and Yuna had already jumped off of Snow's airship to get a head start, while Hope and Snow took the "normal" way to the castle. Hope gave the orders as Snow and Hope ran on in. The mission was search and rescue, they were to put out the flames as they went along. If anyone was injured, they were to be moved to Snow's ship. They were to find Beast and make sure he and his friends were safe, simply put. Snow followed Hope inside. Snow looked around him, the flames were getting bigger and they needed to find Beast. Snow needed backup so that he and Hope could rendezvous with Jecht and Yuna. Snow looked to Hope as Hope put out a couple of flames with his Watera magic. Snow joined him, casting Waterga upon the flames just as well. However, still felt that they were gonna need backup...and so he came up with an idea...
Snow's black L'Cie brand that had reappeared on his left arm upon being throwing into this universe then began to glow blue. It was then that a blue-white crystal began to emerge from his L'Cie brand, from his skin, that was in the shape of a heart. Snow grabbed the crystal and used his almighty force to crush it in his bare hand into dust. He then threw the dust into the air and a huge watery sphere began to materialize. Inside this sphere grew two entities and the watery sphere began to freeze as the two entities began to grow bigger and bigger. It was at this point that the huge watery sphere turn into ice and then the huge icy orb shattered. From the shattered pieces of ice, two beings emerged. One was dark with a white patch over her eye and the other was light-skinned with a visor over her two eyes and had a wheel floating in her hand. Snow smirked as they appeared before him and the two entities smiled upon seeing Snow. The Shiva Sisters have come...
"Alright, then. Stiria, Nix, let's go to work!"
The Shiva Sisters nodded happily and then quickly went to work. Stiria, Snow, and Nix followed Hope through the Beast's castle. After a while, Snow, Hope and Nix were able to find Beast, and from the looks of everything including the huge trail of blood that Beast was leaving behind, it seemed that Beast was severely injured. Hope had ordered him to stop but Beast didn't. Snow looked to Hope and went on ahead to catch up to Beast. Upon reaching Beast, he found Jecht and Yuna, and two others. A woman and a rather strange being just as well...a talking candle holder. However, as Snow thought about it...in this universe, nothing could ever be too strange. However, he did see the one that seemed to be responsible for all of this mess. Snow pounded his fists together was about to charge the perpetrator, however Yuna asked Jecht if he could help Beast. Snow looked behind him to see Beast under a huge chunk of rubble. Snow looked to the fire starter and then Beast, the mission was to help Beast so Snow ran over to Beast, Jecht, and Yuna.
"Jecht, I will handle this; I will lift this off of him. You wanna go ahead and see how much of a pulp you can beat that punk to?!"
Snow, if anything, was not only known for his ability to take abnormal amounts of punishment in battle but he was also known for his amazing strength. Snow was so strong that when he was traveling with Light and the others, Snow was also able to protect Fang from one of Bahamut’s blasts when Bahamut first revealed himself to Fang and the others and he didn’t get a single scratch. Snow was even able to hold off Royal Ripeness, a towering monster, on his own for the most part when he gave himself the mission to protect the crystal pillar that the gargantuan beast was trying to destroy in the first place. Even as this titanic beast tried to strike Noel and his dear wife Serah, Snow was able to hold it off and deflect its punch. This was would be no problem for the burly blond. Snow refixed his gloves and grabbed the bottom part of the rubble. With a loud roar, he lifted the chunk of rubble off of Beast and tossed it to the side away from his friends. Snow gave Yuna a nod, letting her know that she can go to work and start healing Beast. He turned to the Shiva Sisters and gave a job to the beautiful eidolons that he had summoned.
"Ok, Stiria, try to put out the flames on this level. Nix, I want you to protect the lady and the...uh...candle stick holding...thing. Try to see if you can get them out of here!"
Stiria and Nix moved on Snow's commands. Stiria began casting Blizzard upon the flames while Nix flew over to the lady, whom seemed like a good friend of Beast's, and the moving and talking candleholder.
Powers Used:
Waterga: Snow can cast a strong water magic attack as well. It can inflict damage on multiple targets if many are present. (3 post cooldown) (Used in order to stop the fires in the main hall)
Summon: The Shiva Sisters: The Shiva Sisters are known as Stiria and Nix. Stiria is known to be the elder sister. She is dark-skinned and she has a light patch around her right eye. While, Nix is the younger sister. She is light-skinned with somewhat of a visor over her eyes. The Shiva Sisters can help Snow for five full turns then they will have to take their leave for five turns after they have been active for five turns. ((5 posts left))

Blizzard: Inflicts ice magic damage on one opponent. (Used to stop the flames.) ((1 post cooldown))

Like little gnats buzzing about in a jumbled mess within a bog, these noises grew louder and more frequent in each instance. The angel paid little mind to the insects hoping to garner some of her time with what plans they crafted in their minds. No generation truly strayed from the path anyways.
Her eyes drooped a bit, though a voice she did recognize stood out from the rest of the mix. Even as the astral creatures with a signature similar to her own as an Esper began to soothe the flames of war, Altima couldn't hide the smile that grew on her face. The lumbering gargantuan that had caused so much physical harm to her body had managed to drag his corpse from the storms wrath and into the gallows of the executioner. Brave and valiant, though she would not need to turn about to know he was either dying or already at that end. Given how weak his voice was during his pitiful attempt at a command, the result was as predicted.
"You do not have the right to command me feral abomination." Altima spat out with her back to the group, as her message was directed at Beast's unconscious state. "However, your efforts were with merit and provided me with an amusing show. So I shall humor your audience and spare them from joining you along the borders of the abyss. There is no need for senseless destruction, as the handiwork of the hermit seems to have been enough to reap the fields of your confidence for what it was worth. The rubies that were her eyes locked onto the overhead, with her body still under the benefits of Father Time. It was why everything around her appeared to be much slower than normal. She knew better, as that was the effect once a being is moving at speeds past a given point. Time acceleration also granted a major boon to spellcrafting, as she would show right now.

Coated in the flames that formed the destruction, they were like the heaven's raining down a firestorm in its fury upon the ones the overlord had damned to oblivion. They, meaning those vermin gathered to save the Beast no doubt, would stop it. It was an easy volley to halt.
That wasn't the point.
A message was to be sent to this band of light-bearers. For as the flaming rubble fell to the floor, they would see Altima turn her pale face to gaze upon them. The first piece fell just in front of her, with the heat of the flames distorting her physical image some what. It would do little though, mask the hatred that she emitted. By the time the other slags crashed down and the fury of the storm began blowing in, Altima's figure had disappeared. Whisked away by a beacon of light and off of this world. For that moment though, the message was sent.
She was coming for them. [/style] |

The castle burning and crumbling apart; allies injured and in danger. A suspect fleeing the scene. Beast's Castle was in a very critical state. The top priority was evacuating Beast and any civilians in the castle. How to handle the situation appropriately is something Hope needed to figure out quickly. With the condition Beast and his castle was in, he knew the suspect definitely had power. Probably a good thing that he brought Snow and Jecht with him. He brought Yuna along with him just in case of such circumstances. He would've liked to have brought Aerith, but Yuna was a skilled medic that he trusted. She was taking care of Beast, getting him stable enough to be moved to the ship. Belle and Lumiere were nearby and needed to be evacuated. Hope didn't know if there was anyone else in the Castle that needed to be moved. Unknown factors and a situation that needed to be taken care of immediately...Well, it was time to get started.
Hope was chasing Beast, who was chasing the unknown suspect. However, he had stopped and crashed. With Yuna, Snow, and Jecht following, he had already come up with a plan that could wok to their advantage. "Yuna; get Beast primary treatment. We need to get him stable enough to be moved to the airship. Snow and Jecht, go after the suspect up ahead. We want the person captured alive if possble. Do what you must. If you find any civilians, make sure they are sent this way for immediate evacuation. While catching the culprit would be ideal, our top priority is search and rescue." Hope would turn to Snow and notice that he summoned the Shiva Sisters...While ideal for this situation, he did not expect to see them here. It meant that Snow once again had a l'Cie brand. When....why? Hope had several questions, but it was not the time for them.
"Snow, you know we're gonna talk about why the Shiva Sisters are here. But for now, take Nix with you. I'll get Belle and her friend out of here while checking this level for any other survivors. You're gonna need all the help you can get." With that, Hope turned to Belle and Lumiere. "Belle, I need you and your friend to follow me. We need to get you to safety." He would notion for them to follow and lead them to the castle entrance. While doing so, he would be checking rooms for anyone alive, seeing no one around."The building is falling apart, Beast is in critical condition, and an unknown suspect is running through the halls. Do you have any idea who could have done this Belle?" With the Shiva Sisters, Snow, Jecht, and Yuna all in the castle, Hope knew that the chances of this operation being successful were good. Once outside, Hope would point to Snow's airship. "There's our airship. We'll save Beast, and the castle. Whoever did this won't get away with it."

Jecht turned his head as he heard the sounds of the Beast roaring out in the mansion. His words were filled with rage towards someone. Jecht looked back as Yuna and took off with Yuna to find out why Beast was screaming out in anger. Soon after turning the corner he saw Beast under pinned down on the ground underneath a large part of the ceiling. Jecht wondered why Beast didn’t just lift the rubble off of himself then he saw the trail of blood that was behind the Beast leading right up to him.Soon Snow came running with Hope. As Yuna asked for him to remove the rubble from on top of Beast Snow did it himself. As Snow was taking care of removing the rubble Jecht noticed both Belle and Lumiere. He just stared at Lumiere for a bit wondering what in the world it was. “A talking candlestick? What in the world are you?” Jecht didn’t have time for an answer before Hope started giving him orders to look for other people and track down the one responsible for the fire and the attack on the Beast’s castle.
Jecht just nodded as he took off to try to find the person or persons responsible for all this mess. Jecht took a quick look inside of the library as he ran past it. The flames rose up out of there engulfing everything inside that would soon turn the books into nothing but ash and the rest of the room into a nothing more then a of burnt echo of what once was a library. No one was inside of the library as far as Jecht could tell there was nothing that he could see that was a living being. Though after seeing Lumiere it was hard to tell what was a living being and what was furniture. He didn’t hear any screaming for help or any thing that sounded like a person out from the library so he just kept on running looking for anyone else in the castle.
Eventually Jecht ended up in the west wing of the castle the fire hadn't damaged as much of the castle here as it did the other wing yet it was slowly creeping over and soon it would consume this wing and the rest of the mansion if it wasn’t completely put out. Jecht looked around this hall it was very different from the other one he had been in. He stopped running as he came across a door covered in claw marks. Jecht slowly opened the door covered in marks to see that insides of that room was a complete mess. It looked like there was a fight that had happened in the room. Almost everything had either torn or marks everything except for a rose in a glass case standing on a pedestal off to the side near a window.
The rose glowed brightly in the dark room it seemed so out of place in here was it something special to the Beast? Jecht didn’t know and Hope didn’t order him to save objects just people. Jecht decided to just grab the rose and take it with him. It wasn’t worth thinking too much about it. If the rose wasn’t important then it didn’t matter that he grabbed it and if it was then it would be a good thing that he did. Jecht left the room and headed down the hall seeing a set of double doors. With his hands full Jecht kicked the doors open and started walking down into the basement of the Castle not knowing where he was going with the rose in his hands.
