With things the way they were it was strange to think the male could still keep a positive outlook on life but this was Laguna. After leaving that otherworld and landing on this one, he was unsure of what would happen next, would he be able to go home? He worried over Ellone and the others, although with Kiros and Ward to look after things he probably didn't need to worry, in fact he knew they could probably look after things better than he could. They just wouldn't have as much fun.
After waking from his sleep, Laguna had begun to explore the surrounding area, it was a small town somewhere between the likeness of Winhill and…Deling City? No, there wasn’t really anywhere on his world like this. His arms crossed over his chest as he thought, did he know where he was going? Of course not but that never stopped him before either, it was times like this that made the soldier both vulnerable and easily led. The male wasn’t great at finding his way around places but luck seemed to often be on his side and for someone like Laguna they needed it. He thought to himself for a moment before noticing a sign above some large doors.
“The first district, huh?” The first district meant that there were others and so more places to explore! It wasn’t exactly on his to-do list but he wondered whether he’d find Lightning, Tifa, Vaan or the others to give him a better idea of what happened to them all and why they didn’t go back home. At first he began to walk towards the large doors but stopped in his tracks when he heard a faint “Kupo…” his ears pricked up and green eyes turned to the store that was in the middle of the area. They were…so cute! Little creatures that reminded him of Moomba’s except…they didn’t look like them at all, they must have been unique to this world though much like the Shumi and Moomba were to his. This was something he’d have to check out.
The little guy floated inside the building looking quite disheartened, maybe he needed help? This was Laguna’s biggest weakness, helping the needy and the Kupo looked pretty needy.
“Hey, wait up!” He called running towards the store.

So today the Lion had found himself in Traverse Town where it all began with Sora that is. Squall was standing by the large entrance gates of Traverse Town near by the main mail-box. He had been so busy with Rinoa and his other work at the Radiant Garden he had no time to visit this world. While he had the time he decided to just have a leisure day unless the Heartless would appear.
With this in mind Leon decided to go check on Cid's shop just up ahead. As he made it to the stairs he saw a familiar man chasing after one of the moogles which went flying straight into the shop. Being a curious lion he just had to go see what was happening. Leon needed to uphold the peace. His is a defender after all!
Hastily, Leon made his way to the shop and soon pushed one of the doors open and walked right in. To his surprise he saw Laguna and that moogle he must have been chasing. The man that is before him now had helped him greatly with the fight against Ultimecia. How did he get here though? There is no way that their home world has been destroyed, Squall just left the other day. "Laguna," he said softly.

The shop wasn’t far from where he once stood but Laguna had also made the distance in only a few seconds when he saw the fluffy animal. The store was open, well the door was at least, Laguna looked at the sign that read something about being out of fire. “Out of fire…?” He repeated and crossed his arms in thought, “Huh, wonder if they need some help then?” Of course Laguna was to jump at the chance to help one of these small…what were they? He didn’t know exactly, although in the back of his mind he had some sort of idea, a name he couldn’t quite recall…
His hand reached up and gripped the handle, turning it without hesitation and entered the store whilst peering around the door quietly. There were two of them in the place huddled around an enclosed fireplace, the red pompom looking balls drooped down sadly as they swayed in the air. Laguna closed the door behind him and took a few steps forward until he was a few feet behind them, here he crouched down and stared into the pit. Emerald eyes lit up as he realised what their dilemma was.
“Heyy…” he mused comfortingly, “This isn’t that bad! I’ll help ya!” The fluffy animal sprung up in the air shrieking in surprise and froze seeing the human before them. It was of course not surprising to see one but with one breaking into their shop when the sign clearly said “Closed” it was just plain rude. “Hey I’m Laguna!” Her called out and stood so they were facing each other at a…well, similar height, “And you’re a…” Laguna tried to find the words but failed, what was he going to call these guys? Did they have an owner? Where had he seen one before?
“Get. OUT kupo…get out get out - we’re closed!”
The animal was clearly angry and Laguna instinctively stepped back, “Hey s-sorry!” he stuttered waving his hands in front of him in defence, “I only wanted to help!” Unfortunately Laguna wasn’t moving quickly enough and the creature launched itself at his face, his arms reached out to grab what he could when he heard the door open behind him. There was a familiar face, one he wished to see in better circumstances but one he was very…very glad to see. Although…not only was he here…he remembered him!
“Squall!?” the president called and grabbed the creature by the cheeks and showed Squall what he’d caught, “What is this? A Mobble? Moodle….?” The creature wriggled out from his hands and flew above them, “Hey I’m sorry!” he cried, “Right, Squall do you have matches for their fire here?” The long haired male casually pointed to the barren pit, “I’m all out.”
“No-no-no-nooo matches! Magic, kupo!”
“Oh…okay, magic then?” After shrugging and moving out the way of the Lion, Laguna folded his arms again, “Kupo, huh? Well…this is the man for you!”

After, walking in on the whole act Leon let out a tiresome sigh. Why did he have to deal with this now? Not to mention why was Laguna here? The Lion didn't want to deal with a fruity person right now especially since he had just cheer up Rinoa and finished some work related issues at Hollow Bastion. Not to mention he needs to get back to his home world to take care of SeeD.
"Right," He said softly while holding his right hand towards the fireplace and shot off a Firaga spell causing a frolicsome flame to light up the fireplace. "They are Moogles Laguna. They are some play toy to mess around with they are more advanced than us." Squall really didn't want to ask this next question, but he knew he had to.
"So why are you here of all places Mr. President?" Yeah Leon had some respect for the guy and all, but he should be on their home world taking care of the people of his enmormus town. Of course he doesn't have the right to talk since he is the commander at the Gardens and he spends barely any time there putting all of the work on Cid when he is away.

[/font] Creed smiled. She hovered through the night sky at a height which could probably break someone’s neck if they had fallen. Creed flapped her dark swirling wings, flying that little bit higher until she decided it was enough to scare her...not Creed, but the girl in her grasp. Screaming like the pathetic little girl that she is was a young brunette, no older than twenty years of age. Her legs furiously kicked beneath her, as though doing so would make Creed drop her and allow her to land safely on the solid ground below. “Don’t make me drop you and risk smashing your pretty face to pieces.” Creed gave her the warning she wouldn’t hesitate in accidentally dropping her. The kicking stopped as expected. However, the screaming didn’t. Creed rolled her eyes. Quickly she started to get bored of scaring the young girl with the fear of falling. And so...she let go. “Woops. You slipped.” Creed clasped her mouth, as if shocked that the girl was falling to her death. The screamed roared from her lips as she fell rapidly towards the ground. She was only seconds away from death before being saved by the saviour that was Creed. Swooping down, Creed gripped her wrists once again. The girl halted to her death, with her feet only two feet from touching the ground. As she glanced up, staring into the playful purple orbs of Creed, she started to scream again, thinking she was about to go back up in the air. “Oh, do shut up!” Creed sighed before dropping her onto the ground. The girl landed with a thud, before scurrying to her feet and running to the first building she saw – the closed shop. Seeing the girl trip up the stairs and crawling towards the door of the shop was comical to Creed. Laughing at her prey trying to escape, Creed decided to continue her little game of cat and mouse. Slowly, she touched down onto the cobble stone path at the bottom of the stairs which lead up to the store. With no need for her wings, the darkness was withdrawn back into her being. For now, she stood as human as the girl who was attempting to flee. Creed decided to let her have an advantage...for now. As for the dark haired girl who had been toyed around with by the pale haired woman, she would seek for help. Upon bursting through the shops doors, she spotted two men and a couple of Moogles standing around a fire. “H-help me. Please!” She cried. “I was in the air...she tried to drop me...” The girl dropped to her knees by the doorway and was sobbing at this point of her plea. [/ul] [/div]

Luckily for Laguna, Squall was able to calm the situation down with a literal flick of the wrist, the effortless summoning of a fireball relaxed the Moobles from their standoff with the president. This in turn relieved the breath that Laguna was unconsciously holding, it wasn’t until it was released that he realised how abrupt he was being. The ex-soldier wasn’t expecting to end up in this place, he wasn’t even sure where this place was but all he knew was that it wasn’t Esthar. A thought sprung to him, he should write about this place for an article, he was sure no one had been here before…and he wondered what would lie in wait for them.
However Squall seemed more in touch with his surroundings here, it appeared to be familiar to him and he was…relaxed. Laguna wondered how long it had been since he had left the other world and stumbled into this one because Squall seemed…different somehow. After the explanation on the Mooble’s, Laguna would just nod and direct himself to the fluffy beings, where had he seen one before? “I know that.” Laguna answered, they were definitely not toys but he had forgotten Squall’s lack of sense of humour, it was clearly from his mother’s side. “Well, looks like all is well in here!” Laguna gave a wave to the two fluffy creatures and once again turned to Squall…what was he doing here…?
“Uhh…that’s a good question. Ya see, I don’t really know, where are we exactly?” Laguna didn’t usually like to admit he was unsure or wrong but considering the recent events he had decided to just own up to it. There was this…and well, there was no real point arguing with Squall about anything, the kid knew what he had to do and he always seemed to do it better than the President. Unexpectedly a loud screech bellowed out from outside, Laguna scowled and listened closely, “Ya hear that too?” he said quietly as he tried to listen out again, “I thought I heard a scream.” The male relaxed again and placed his hands on his hips until another scream soared through the sky again.
“Nah, that’s gotta be someone in trouble Squall, let’s go.” Instinctively, Laguna pulled out his machine gun and rested the hilt on his other hand, “You ready?” He asked the SeeD confidently, Squall was always ready really. His body turned back to the creatures they’d helped a few minutes ago, they seemed to have disappeared but on closer inspection he could see two bobble’s swaying behind a box. Laguna walked over and knelt down beside it careful to not get too close, “We’ll deal with this…you guys just sit tight.” One of them whined out a “Kupo…” but before he could say anything else a girl burst into the shop.
“H-help me. Please!” She cried. “I was in the air...she tried to drop me...”
The man in blue stood up onto his feet and hurried over to the girl and knelt down to her level, a hand reached to her shoulder to calm her as his words tried to comfort her, “Hey don’t worry, you’ll be safe in here.” His eyes searched for Squall but returned back to the girl, “Just stay here, we’ll deal with it, stay with the Mooble’s.” Standing up and rushing through the door, Laguna’s gaze veered upon a girl standing right at the bottom of the staircase, his gun was held tightly within both hands, a finger lay warily on the trigger as he looked her up and down. Don’t get cramp…don’t get cramp…!
“Uh…do you have something to do with this?”
