(Location:Near The Citidal Of Trials)
This world... this was her second time here now, but the scenery was still just as beautiful a sight as before, for miles in any direction there was nothing but more and more of the wild grass in fact the only notable building to speak of was the pure white tower in front of her. The sight of it was almost majestic, it was huge towering far above herself.
The question was.... why was a tower here, in the middle of nowhere? Did it serve some purpose? It was really quite intriguing to the young pictomancer.... such places usually held cool treasure or awesome secrets after all!
"Should we try it Interceptor?"
She questioned her animal companion, who responded simply with a bark and a nod, giving his agreement, but he was always like that... always there to help her.... even when others left her....Realm wiped a lone tear from her eye at the memory of Shadow leaving her and Interceptor, it still hurt, but... she couldn't change that, all she could do was get stronger... strong enough to gain acknowledgement from the others.... and maybe... even Shadow.

A land of peace, one in which it never felt the corruption of discord and one that never dealt with the decaying force of the four fiends. Garland…no…Chaos was defeated and the world would never have to deal with the man’s twisted lust for a cycle, but why did it feel everything was not at an end? Why did it feel that the conflict with that man was not over? Peace was not something that the warrior could revel in and for a soul that spent its entire existence fighting, he probably could never truly understand peace.
Though this world reveled in its peace there was still trouble that roamed throughout the land. The beasts and monsters roamed around as well as some strange shadow creatures that had begun to appear. These creatures were unlike the other monsters that roamed the land and were beings that needed investigation. Regardless of this fact, they were easy to dispatch of and the kingdom of Cornelia was not in any danger should he make his leave. In this new time that differed from the damaged time he appeared in, Zest decided to move on towards one of the many places he had encountered during his many travels.
The Citadel Of Trials,
It was the place filled with puzzles and powerful foes, a fortress that only that truly tested the courage of those that dared to overcome it. Both he and his dear friends challenged the citadel and together they were able to prove their merit to the dragon king. Zest did not know what it was that brought him to this place, but the pangs of nostalgia possibly played some part in this.
The warrior continued to walk on out of the vehicle that transported him there and through the green fields with his sword and shield in hand. As he continued to walk on he saw what looked like two individuals up ahead and as he grew closer he took notice that it was a young girl and what seemed to be a dog. The stoic man continued to walk on and without paying heed to the child he merely begun to walk past the girl “I advise you turn back…” Zest said walking past her without even looking at her. He continued to walk but soon came to a halt, starring at the grand fortress ahead. “Powerful monsters and dangerous traps lay up ahead…if your courage is true and your determination is unyielding then I will not stop you…” Zest said before continuing his trek towards the citadel.

It was the usual, an adult telling her to turn back and not track forward... psssh she was better than that, she wasn't just some weak child! She was a descendent of the magi, gifted with magical power from birth! She was NOT some weak defensless princess I'm need of rescue, she was Relm Arrowny! No way normal monsters would do her in!
The man gave her an opportunity as he passed, he said he woudn't stop her.... that.... was great! In that moment she hopped on Interceptors back, the pictomancer pointed ahead towards the citadel, giving the signal for the large dog to head towards the building in a sprint, as she passed by the armored warrior she called out.
"Good! I'll keep going then!"
And so she continued her own treck to the tower, the warrior likely not far behind.

A simple response, and in a mere moment the young child immediately hopped on upon the back of her beast companion and rushed forward past the knight without any hesitation in the slightest. Did she not heed his words and toss them aside? Or perhaps she was merely confident in her own skills. Zest had never truly dealt with children, having merely met the small humans upon passing the civilians that he worked to save. From what he was told they were merely the learning portion of a human’s life, a time where they learn the world and what it is to live. They are ignorant, but at the same time they possessed a wit and determination that was strong and pure.
The ignorance that children held, it was a pure thing that has not felt the influence of darkness. Truly by all definition a child should be something that should be pitied and taken care of, but it was strange, it felt as if he had some respect for a child, as if he had met one that held a powerful strength that could rival or even surpass any adult. Was he ever a child like the ones he saw? Or perhaps he was just like the girl before him. For now he would witness what drove that girl to move forward and see her strength first hand. It would disrespectful to treat her like some weakling without having Walking calmly and having not slowed down his calm and cool trek forward, Zest continued to walk behind the girl and the beast like canine, sticking to his word and not stop them in their quest. This trip was more for some form of nostalgia and really held no true purpose to him, so conquering the citadel was something he did not truly care for.
Staying with a bit of distance from the two, the three entered the white stone and vine coated citadel. A screech echoed as a devil like gargoyle flew above the duo and a giant clay golem stood resting ahead of the hallway before them. Though sword and shield rested in his hand, the weapons he held remained idle and not prepped for battle. Zest merely stared forward as the beasts stared on, ready to attack the moment they approached further into the citadel.

Before Relm stood the Citadel, the place she hoped to prove herself. It was clearly a place of challenge! Why else would it be in the middle of the vast land around them? Their was nothing else for miles around, seriously in direction their was literately nothing but water! SO to Relm that meant this place had to hold some sort of hidden secret, which of course meant she had to conquer it! it would be SO cool if it was treasure or something but more than anything was Relm wanted to prove herself. She wanted to prove that she was strong, that she could be a hero.
She wanted to prove it her friends, she wanted to prove to the man behind her she wanted to prove it to gramps and she.... wanted to prove it to herself! She could be strong and this was one amazing way to prove it, all she had to do was topple the Citadel and poof! instant story to tell the non believers, maybe she'd even get a something to remember it by while she was here. Relm turned her attention to the front of her, namely the winged beast and golem. the most immediate threat to her and her companion was the airborne creature, which meant it needed to go down first, something Relm intended to do, she'd make roast Gargoyle! ...though she'd have to make sure no one ate it... no telling what monster meat did to the stomach but whatever!
Hopping off her partners back she motioned for Interceptor to move back from her, an action the dog obeyed but still kept a firm eye on both Relm and the monsters, he was in the ready should something go wrong with her plan... always.
Relm proceeded to charge up the magic for her spell, the heat warm to the touch in her hands she fired the fireballs and the gargoyle itself scorching it and sending causing it to recoil to the ground, not defeated but defiantly wounded.
But with Relm distracting herself with the Gargoyle she failed to notice as the Gargoyle slowly but surely came upon her position and with one strong swing of it's fist sent sent her quite literately flying across the room, her light body unable to just withstand the impact from such force.
However, Interceptor caught Relm on his back, her impact failed to both him much, he was used to such things after all.
As she stood back up Relm rubbed her face, in the spot the golem hit her, yup.. that was going to leave a mark.
"Why you!"
Angered, she began to charge up another spell, oh that hunk of rock would pay, it would rue the day it crossed this Relm Arrowny, for sure!

Together along with the girl he walked along keeping his distance from the girl and her canine companion. The girl was determined and brave, that was something Zest could say, but he couldn’t help but believe her to be reckless for jumping forward into the citadel. Just what reason did such a little girl have for entering such a dangerous place alone? Just what was she trying to prove?
With the three of them before the two beasts, Zest waited to see how the two with him would deal with the beasts before him. Having been through this citadel before, Zest was familiar with the beasts dwelling in this citadel and for him he felt he would be able to defeat each of them with some ease, however he was unsure of the other two. Unexpected to Zest it had seemed that the girl separated from her canine companion and instead of fighting alongside the dog she instead chose to fight alone. Was the dog not a fighter? No, that dog looked like it had many years of experience, but even so it only raised the question of what the girl sought to accomplish in this citadel.
The fight begun and the girl used magic to dispatch of the airborne gargoyle, causing the beast to fall from the sudden attack. For these two beasts a mage was quite useful in a situation and Zest was impressed by the attack the girl used. Even so though it showed that she held battle experience, there was still inexperience and it something that needed to be further refined.
With the golem’s punch knocking the girl with a mighty punch, it was good to see that the girl was able to minimize the recoil of the attack through the assistance of her canine companion. The girl was quite irritated from the sudden attack of the golem and immediately begun to focus all her effort on attacking the golem, something that Zest found to be a mistake.
“Do not focus on only one, you must keep an eye out on your surroundings!” Zest called out to the girl. The gargoyle was still alive, seething with anger from the blow that it had received. In comparison to the slow giant golem this gargoyle was quite speedy and troublesome with its ability of flight. While Relm focused on the golem, the gargoyle sped towards Relm in preparation to attack.
