Scarlet had fallen out of the pan and into the fire. The woman had ended up in a world called Disney Town originally. It had taken a young female warrior named Lightning to rescue her from it and get her off that joke of a world. Talking animals? That was absolutely ridiculous. Had anyone even told her that they'd ended up talking to an animal, she'd of had them committed. However, having experienced it herself, she felt like it wasn't something she could tell as soul. They wouldn't believe her.
The woman in red dress stood up and brushed herself off. Honestly, she had no idea where she was. The area looked rather stunning, the castle was definitely a sight to see. Though, it wasn't really enough to peek Scarlet's interest. She much preferred Edge or Junon to anything else. She much preferred metal to whatever this castle was made of.
With a sigh, her eyes moved about her location. She remembered walking through a door with Lightning, but the woman didn't seem to be nearby. Scarlet stood up and took a few steps forward as her heels clicked. Was she alone here? This castle surely could not be abandoned. It was too pristine to not have a caretaker. Maybe she could find a guard or a someone to ask her location. It might give her an idea of how to get off this world and back to her home.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ A part of the air started to cause some vibration before suddenly a digital hole opened up and Sark appeared from the code. Before him, floating in the air, was a panel that seemed to be almost fused with the air as shining lines floated and faded away in the air. The man ticked on it before looking at his surroundings. His orange and grey appearance did stand out, especially with all the orange lines glowing up from time to time. Slowly scanning the area, Sark pressed another time on the panel as it vanished, he had tried to transfer to a place he had been to before, but it didn't seem to have worked. "The transfer's corrupted," he figured as he placed his arms behind his back, folding them there and standing tall as he looked up at the castle, then over the garden in front of it that he was actually standing in, "not a very logical section, what program made this?" He raised curiously while looking up at the staircase leading to the castle. Rather than moving in that direction, he turned his entire body around to look at the area behind him and study this. Seeing the gate and, behind it, there were also woods, it reminded him of the previous area he was in, "again the strange architecture." He then turned towards one of the sides as he studied some plants. WORDS: 239 NOTES: Sark's a nerd~ TAGS: Scarlet ┚

Scarlet continued down a path, her heels clicking on the ground below her. Honestly, she didn't understand how she kept ending up in these situations. They worlds she appeared on were absolutely ridiculous. She felt this was all extremely lame. She just wanted to get back to her world. She was sure that if she made it back to her own world, she could have a purpose again. After the incidents before Meteorfall, she'd done her best to stay hidden. Deepground had been another reason not to come out of hiding. However, with the current events she didn't need to worry about it. Rufus would bring her back.
The woman was distracted by a red light in the distance. Scarlet walked over a bit before she realized it was this man's outfit. She had to admit, she was intrigued by the fact he had clothing that glowed. It must have taken a while to line the outfit with a string of lights. Someone had to have known their electrical engineering.
"Did you make the outfit yourself?" She asked the being before her. She wasn't aware that he was a computer program. Then again, after seeing the talking cartoons in Disney Town, this probably wouldn't surprise her too much.

"I find that to be unlikely." A voice said from nearby. The echo was followed by a dome of shadow, tall as a man, that popped up from the ground. Its instant existence caused a magical rain of pink petals to appear from the dark alleyway. A form stepped out of the dome. His garb a black coat with gloves and boots contrast with the vibrancy of his hair. This patron of vanity had appeared in this world expecting to bring with him the havoc of nobodies and heartless.
Yet before he could attempt an assault or assassination, the nobody needed the approval of his superiors before such a daunting take over could be started. The assassin, wanted very much to be in command, more than with that castle hidden in the realm of darkness. Other worlds were on his mind now; universal conquest was a goal, if not a motivation. yet number XI needed to wait and watch for his kind to mobilize upon other worlds. The patience required to wait was what made this nobody the graceful assassin.
"I am Marluxia." He said. He looked upon this world for a moment, which of course diverted his attention from the two figures standing before him. A beautiful garden to sit in, a beautiful sky to admire, and ample souls to harvest could, in the nobody's opinion, make this world a wonderful target of the organization. Perhaps it was being stuffed in a castle literally filled with nothing and nobodies that made him anxious for this open world. But as the nobody briefly contemplated changing his title from Lord of the Castle to Lord of the Garden he shook his mind at the silly thought. That didn't mean he'd forget about the conquest this world, however.
"Please pardon my intrusion."

THIS IS WAR
Light had a little mishap, quite an unexpected glitch in her travels. After arriving at Disney Town, due to a strange twist in the tunnel becoming rather apparent, she was able to locate the source of disturbance on the world. A lone Armadillon had managed to creep its way into the world due to an open Time Gate, that should have been sealed. Afterwards Light discovered an Artefact had found its way into the world, mistaken for another interesting piece of hardware that was certainly not what it was made for. She needed the Artefact to seal the Gate and prevent any other problems from arising. After retrieving the Artefact she had to follow through on her promise to help Scarlet back home, but it was looking as if that was not going to happen. After sealing the Time Gate in Disney Town she took custody of the Artefact and took charge of leading Scarlet through the gate, but it seemed Fate had a funny way of making the Valkyrie work to keep her word. A sharp ripple struck the tunnels violently, causing Light to lose her hold on Scarlet. Without any experience in the Gates, there was no telling where the woman would land. After a bit of scanning the Valkyrie would be able to locate a tear in the passages. It was strange. This was an unnatural opening. This was not the work of an Artefact, but what was it?
Light cut through the distorted rip to get through, the twisted webbings of time keeping her from cleanly pushing through. She hated having to open a Gate, but she had no choice. Landing the Valkyrie lowered herself to her knee before pushing to stand in a smooth, graceful motion. The sickness that often came with crossing between time was not there this go around. It could be perhaps she had spent less in the Unseen World this time before returning to the Seen World. She had expected it though, so raised her hands to her ears, but to her surprise she could hear. In fact she heard a male’s voice. A gentle, almost melodic rumble to crawl through these… halls. Where was she? Looking up and around she could only connect the architecture to a castle. It reminded her of the haunted castle at Nautilus park. It was strange to build a modern structure in stone. The only other stone structures she had seen was the temple at the bottom of Lake Bresha. The Bresha Ruins. By the architecture she could only assume this world was less than advanced, but that did not mean she was to lower her guard. The armored warrior decided to examine her surroundings. This was where Scarlet was, she was sure of it.
Abandoning her was not a choice, but these twisting halls were confusing. Where she thought the voice was coming from, the ex-soldier would only find the dead end of a hall. “Great…” She complained to herself.
With blade in hand the warrior side and sheathed her sword. She would turn around, and try again. Her steps were silent, the warrior graced with the fine-tuned agility born of a warrior waltzing between time and space. She had to find Scarlet before something far less pleasant did. Hopefully the Gate would remained closed to any monsters from entering or exiting while she was away from it. It was still much too small, but she could not risk it either way. Light began to make way and search.

PREPARE FOR DE-RESOLUTION ┍ A voice spoke to him, Sark ignored it as he listened to the woman that had come closer, albeit another voice answered instead. It appeared as shadows came from the ground, Darkness much like what the Heartless were, wasn't it? It mattered not as the Command Program turned a bit to see Scarlet and study the form that appeared. The man that appeared wore a black coat, no lines that indicated its purpose. The woman, similarly, wore a dress without the routes. Studying the two, the one with pink on the head gave his... name and an apology. "What are you talking about?" He said, having turned to Scarlet again, unsure what she was meaning with 'making an outfit', he was outfitted with what his User indicated. Well, it mattered little. "I'd request for your purpose," he started as his eyes went from one to the other, "but I would believe both of you are Users. So you would lack functions, now what section are we in." He didn't exactly formulate it as a question, instead commanding the question as his expression remained stoic. The question was meant to figure out what place they were in. Scarlet normally did not scare easily. However, with the voice coming from behind her, she did jump inadvertently. It was like he'd just appeared out of nowhere as black wisps and rose petals disappeared from around him. It had caused her to place her hand on the simple gun at her side. She evaluated the situation for a moment before removing her hand from her weapon. They did not seem to be a threat at the moment. There was no need to make more enemies then she already had.
It was amusing to see a man with pink hair. It was not a common sight on Gaia. Yet Lightning also had the same color hair. It was a lot more common. The man introduced him self before apologizing about his arrival. "Scarlet." She replied, shrugging off his apology. She didn't see a real reason for the apology, the gesture making the man sound weak. There was no reason for it, so it showed weakness in her opinion.
That's when the computer program spoke up and she raised an eyebrow. What the hell was he talking about. "User? Purpose? The hell are you talking about?" She asked with a confused expression. It felt like she was missing some key information to process what was going on. Being a user could be taken a few ways. However, she was unsure what way he meant it.
It frustrated her to no end that she had been separated from her newest ally. Without the woman around, she felt like a chocobo with it's head cut off. She didn't know where to go or what to do. It was hard enough not speaking condescendingly to everyone. She did not need the added stress of making more enemies. Especially when she only had a few items to protect herself and no soldier entourage. Essentially, she was a sitting duck. But, she could handle herself as long as she didn't start anything.

NOTES. A God can only see so much... |
to the soldier, the civilian, the martyr, the victim.
THIS IS WAR
In the time Light had taken to travel what she could of the worlds, the warrior had to accept the fact that anytime she found a new place she was once again a foreigner lost in the wicked turbulence of a traveler's fate. She had a dry revelation that this was likely what her sister suffered whenever she found herself in a new time and in a new place. Woeful, regretful decisions, sadly, had no place among her duties. This was a truth that had begun to, as of late, worry her. With her world at its brink, it would seem many worlds would suffer a similar fate. But was it the same fate that stood to be suffered by all worlds in the end?
As the warrior strode through the fairy tale book she would pass a window arch. Her hand traced along the stone walls, keeping herself steady as she paced down the narrow steps. She placed her gloves fingers upon the mouth of the window and turned her crystalline eyes toward the distant landscape. Dark forests tightly stitched across rolling hills. A strange sense came from those woods. It was a faint mixture of chaos and magic. It worried her. Was this place also at risk? She sensed no Artefact or Time Gate, aside from the one she had exited from. So what was it hiding in that forest? Do those shadows nest?
"I can't get distracted." She reminded herself. "I'm on my own." She did not have Hope providing her information.
Far from her world, or even time, she was out of God's hands and sight. Scarlet was somewhere here and the woman was alive. Her promise had to remain if she was going to save her. The warrior hurried down, finally making it to the landing. Her form stilled, he'd raising as muddled sounds carried to her ears. She kept her form steady to prevent her metal armor from giving away her position. She peered around the corner she would find herself at the end of a long hall. There were several doors, but they were closed. The impressive, wooden doors perhaps his secrets, but none of them concerned Light. As she passed the barricades she would listen. The muted voices only became clearer as she drew forward. She came to the end of the hall and peered around the corner. There she would find Scarlet and another who seemed to be confronting her. Her hand came over the hilt of her blade, preparing for the worst.
Light would finally step out from hiding, each motion rattling and ringing as if she had a pouch of gil on her hip. Little did the warrior know: her outfit much fit the the world of knights and dragons. The Valkyrie's armor was likely an ancient garment bestowed upon heroes who knelt before the gods, as it was a pure gift from the Goddess before she became a pawn of the God Bhunivelze. Her blade had be drawn in precaution. She looked between the present company and the surrounding environment.
The further she crossed through the place the more it reminded her of the Haunted Castle in Nautilus Park. "Are you alright?" She flatly questioned
Light was unsure if there was a disagreement happening, but she was sure it could be, in part, the woman's fault. She was not a combative sort, in the warrior's mind. But Light did not put it passed Scarlet's pride. She seemed a strong, driven sort that was not easily deterred, and that nature alone held the capability of starting problems. The man ... or machine... that stood across from Scarlet was downright creepy. He much looked like a frightful experiment of man and machine. Her military had been capable of integrating cybernetics in uniforms and beasts. She did not push it passed them to had cross the line at some point, or anyone else for that matter and place them in humans.
