Silv hadn't been in the arena a while and had missed out on the registrations of the last tournament. Standing within the crowd, he watched as one of the matches was in progress. Pfeh, she vanished from her spot and reappeared through the Corridors outside as she walked towards one of the tournament boards outside.
Things had been quiet for quite a while now. As a Heartless, she had hunted down hearts, but what else was there to do? She had started her travels due to the life as a merchant was boring, but her travels had started to bore her as well. Actually, she had lost her own heart that time... or was that different? She had heard explanations on Heartless and Nobodies. However, she never had any interest nor could recall it all.
And yet I've not destroyed this universe just yet, throwing her arms in the air, she couldn't care any less anymore. "Not like I cared at the beginning, nor at the end. Existence is going down anyway," she shrugged with those words and turned away from the board.

Jovial Prince of Thieves Was exhausted after his first match. No way this was any good. To think that kinda spell took him out. Death mages were really nasty. He rubbed at his neck as he walked out. His free hand was hoisting up his pants before he moved to tighten his belt. Behind him, with every step, his tail would flick and curl as he slowly regained his balance from that dizzying fight. His arms were stretched high above his head, the holster at his side rattling softly.
"Ahhh that was a tough deal. Well maybe gettin' one of 'em won't be as easy as that." He was a bit disappointing in himself. Perhaps he needed a little more training?
As much experience as he had, it was limited to his home. These new places had shown him different styles of combat and an array of magic he had never experienced. He really took no offense when others called him too stupid for magic, because it was honestly the case. The training, the memorization and the mental fortitude to keep the spells from coming back at you. The boy was far too emotional for that sort of thing. He lacked not only the patience, but the concentration. His skills were perhaps better placed in his thievery and acting lifestyle, at least there he had a deep passion nurtured by his Boss. The young made made his way over to the ranking boards. He still could not read it. Perhaps he was hoping it was like Terran, but taht was an exception wasn't it? Oh well.
A deep sigh escaped his mouth as the boy, strangely dressed for this region, let go of his misgivings. He would chalk this up as a new experience.

Noting another to have passed her, Silv watched the boy walk to the boards and letting out a deep sigh. She also noted the tail. "You don't exactly look like a mithra..." she said more to herself than the other while crossing her arms and looking the boy over. Silv wasn't sure what other races there were with just a tail.
She shrugged again and walked to the side of the courtyard where she grabbed ahold of her axe, resting against the side. Which she then swung over her shoulder and placed it there while closing her eyes. What if I just jumped into the arena without a care? I wonder if I come across this Hercules then.

Jovial Prince of Thieves The young thief was battered from his train of thought. That voice... it was a woman! His gloved hands came to brush through his hair as he turned to face this silver-haired beauty. After all that struggling in the fight he was quite troubled. But this, this was a send from the Crystal. It seemed he was fated to meet her. At least that was would normally cross his mind. Fate was mocking him. Teasing his distance from his canary. This would not suffice. Though stunning in her own right, comparatively it was -- impossible not to see her.
His hand came to settle on his hip, the train of though only showing on his features as an arched brow. A warm smile soon drew itself upon his face. "Pretty sure I'm not a ...whatever-you-called-it, but pretty sure my little sister and big bro have 'em too." He rubbed at his head feeling a little self-conscious. He had to justify his extra limb outside of his home. he had to remember in these places humans, heck anyone, with tails was absurdly out of the normality.
The boy was rather small, and though lacking in height his presence was very big. He tried to make himself well known and could often times drive himself clear into trouble. His head cocked to the side, blond bangs falling over his almost androgynous features. If not for the way he dressed and spoke, currently, it would be difficult to surmise his more placid gender role.
"I haven't seen you around here before..." Not that the sly thief has really seen much of anyone. He was still pretty much a visitor here and yet to really grasp the full scope of how fantastically large this world was. "My name's Zidane, what about you?" He seemed rather friendly. It was really a troubling thing to bother the laid-back vagrant.

"Mithra," was the stiff response on his "whateveryoucallit". While the boy seemed to pull his antics, she wasn't too interested in this. She already regretted ever speaking to the boy as she responded slowly with her name: "Silv." She gripped her axe more tightly as she walked forward. "I've been here before, fighting in some tournaments. Both before and after my death I continued to fight in this tournament. Aren't you in the current tournament?" She followed her questions through.
"I enjoy fighting more than this stupid chatter," she told the boy as followed, "although, I used to be a merchant. I wanted to become an adventurer, see more of the world. In the end I left Vana'diel and found new worlds." She explained with a grin. "What do you think of the worlds so far? Isn't the life of travelling and adventuring not more fun than being stuck to a caravan that goes the same route over and over again?"

Jovial Prince of Thieves Zidane grinned weakly as he rubbed the back of his head. AH, he was no good with these foreign names, he supposed. Mithra. He had never heard of this type of being. He looked like them? Did that mean--? No that was way too convenient, unsettling. He shook the thoughts from his head. In any case, this lady was strange, but well armed. He took a lazy step back, making it look like he was just resting back on his legs as hisarms folded behind his head.
"Ah, me... I'm between fights." He grinned. He shook his head to her question. He really did not understand being on one place too long. His family were practically nomadic, but there were times that staying at home and seeing familiar places were worth it. Perhaps it was when the grass appeared greener across the fence. "Ah, me? I'm an actor...I travel around doing shows, don't really settle too long. It' s hard work." He partially lied, never telling a stranger the whole truth.
The boy looked too small to have been a contestant, but that never stopped entries from taking on beasts well beyond their capacity to show off. He looked like one of those sorts, though in truth he simply liked the fun of the challenge.

"Well, seems your next opponent is of my race..." she mumbled half loudly when he responded with how he was between fights. Dropping her arms more, she moved a bit forward, "I've watched some of the matches that has been happening. Seen also your last fight for a bit. I'm always interested in future opponents, especially since I've entered many of the tournaments that have happened here." she explained slowly, "but since I took a little too much time on a different world, I missed out on this one."
Walking a bit around, she continued happily, "I find fun in combat and like to fight matches or even upon worlds. You learn a lot about others in combat and I'm not too fond of... intellectual... talk... or... having to think a lot," she growled a bit at the thought, "no... Combat requires reflexes and any ideas pop up as you go, it's something that just happens. I'm a straight-forward fighter, all I need is my axe and a target to hit with it and I'm all fine."
Acting... shows... sounds boring... "Don't you need a group for that? Your acting group watching the arena then?" She asked the boy, "truly a different style of life." And not one I'd like.

Jovial Prince of Thieves The woman was talking in a way he really could not grasp. He was a bit slow on the uptake sometimes, but he politely listened. The way she spoke made him uneasy, it was almost a seducing manner to his ears. It caused him to pull up his hands rather defensively. He was never sure why there were people who enjoyed fighting, but he was one that liked attention. He bashfully rubbed the back of his head and fidgeted. As he listened though, he noticed something, and it was very dejecting. She was not praising him, she was praising battle. What was with battle hungry women? That was not lady-like at all. That was disappointing.
For him, even though he was a reckless, and seemingly uncultured thief he was a gentleman trained in the arts. He enjoyed reading and talking was always a great way to discover things about people. He gave a soft chuckle as she boasted of her pleasures. For one who hated to talk... she sure did a lot of it. When she asked of his being in a troupe he gave a roguish grin.
"Ah, you're very knowledgeable. I am in a troupe, but currently they are not here with me... I came here on my own without permission." He would probably get a good beating after, but no matter. He was really intrigued with everything here. He supposed curiosity did often slay the cat in its tracks.
He supposed she was right. This sort of life was very different compared to everyone he has met so far. The life of an actor really was a hard one and not many could handle its trials. But the tribulations of a warrior were no different. They too suffered at the hands of politics and the leery eyes of bandits and others of combative nature. He really hoped he was not testing her eye, in that way anyhow! He laughed.
"We are not at all different, you and I." The boy had to have been daft! He held out his hand and bowed in a flourish. You see to act on stage one must be open to the possibilities of anything. Being quick-minded, fast and able to change one's state instantly is what means the difference between life and death. If we are not paid, we do not eat. Our bodies and minds are trained to last long days, even months, with little, yet still push our bodies to perform daring acrobatics and mentally drain ourselves memorizing the words of the past." Zidane stood tall, at least as much as the smaller male could, and smiled.
"Fending off bandits, those who seek to take advantage of us on the road~" He moved his body and acted as if he was fencing with an invisible blade in hand. He settled himself and turned to face Silv with his hand on his hip. "Though very different, the skills needed are one in the same between us." he seemed to want to find peace between them, very pacifistic this boy. He often tried to use his sarcastic quips and lazy attitude to avoid conflict when it was unnecessary.
But than there was that charming side of him that tried to make you feel welcomed and never out of place. What goof was it feeling you could not be part of a group? That was a terrible feeling to have. Zidane held out his hand to the woman, offering a shake.
"I mean, maybe we can have fun in the future. I'm no warrior but I'm pretty good in a brawl if ever you need someone ta join you." He was, undeniably, a strange one. It was hard to tell if he was flirting, or honestly trying to make a new friend .

Silv listened to the explanation, it seemed the boy was on his own. Well, means he has strength of mind to actually get things done, when the boy then started talking about trainings and such... She didn't honestly care on training. Her training came from beating up whatever stood in her way. Even killing civilians and running after them was a form of training. You trained stamina and speed with the run and strength as you cut them down.
When it came to acrobats, she wasn't an acrobat, but with the other being a performer, she assumed he'd be a good acrobatic fellow. With his body build and small posture, she could really see him perform some feats beyond human. Must be, he doesn't look that strong, she grinned at the thought.
"I see, maybe I'll invite you for something at some point," she responded to him telling her he'd join if ever she needed someone in a brawl, "maybe you could help with some... trouble that get in the way." She nodded and moved a bit towards the doors of the Coliseum. "Do you know anyone in the tournament? Do you expect to win?"

Jovial Prince of Thieves The young man looked to the woman when she seemed almost delighted by his offer, at least it was what he took from it. She was like a female Amarant.... it was rather amusing. To think there were people like that in other worlds. Hopefully he could learn more about her and become better friends. He was never one to kill, or harm others for no reason, but a dirty bar room brawl never hurt anyone, right? He beamed a bit, grinning roguishly when she accepted his offer.
Zidane gave a nod, but paused when she turned to leave. He supposed he would have to get back into the arena soon too. What a shame... she was such a lovely thing, a good conversationalist, for all intents and purposes. At her question he rubbed at the side of his head with a sly chuckle. Well... he knew no one in this world, so he highly doubted he would know anyone. At the question of his victory he crossed his arms over his chest. He was not out to win at first, but now he was pretty pumped to continue. He could not help some old habits as they shone through.
Gloved hands were held out as he gave a cocky grin. "If a pretty woman like you is cheering me on, there's no doubt in my mind that I'll win!" Such haughty attitude. Maybe he did have some experience fighting? Either way his promise was made on habit. It made him sorely wish to take it back when he thought of his canary. Someone cheering him on, huh?
He waved at the feisty female warrior. Maybe they would meet again. "If yer ever in trouble...just call my name." He bowed his head and winked as he stood up from it. "Zidane Tribal, don't forget it!" That strong will to be remembered always nipped the back of his subconsciousness.

Disgusting little twerp, she thought as she watched Zidane. Why she hadn't just taken on a role as executioner and cut off his head was beyond her. Maybe she did think too much before this encounter. She just needed to clear her head, find baldy maybe? She didn't feel much for finding silverhead, shown to have too many brains and she wasn't the type to think things through, but neither likes to get controlled towards other ends. Would be nice to find Stroud again...
"Will do," she said in response as she gave a little nod, or bow of the head, towards Zidane. She could imagine some reasons to call for him. Also, all contacts had seemed quite useful in the end. They had their purposes. She then turned away. "I'm Silv... Sannerou, I'll be watching the tournament then," she said as she started to move towards the coliseum. "Good luck onward."
Silv left the thread.

Jovial Prince of Thieves For whatever reason the boy felt confident he made an impression on the girl. Silv... That is a cute name, to be sure. Ah but he was getting ahead of himself. Something about this girl seemed dangerous. He has met dangerous ladies before, but normally his perceptiveness was diluted by the presence of a pair of breasts, and what fine ones this one had. He was a bit more level-headed toward these things lately. Maybe it was because he was around more women lately that he did not seem as attentive toward them, or it could have very well been his true and proper affections lie elsewhere across the worlds.
He gave a warm smile, regardless of his deep, and seemingly unwarranted, suspicions, before he raised a gloved hand and raised it. Though she was turned, the gesture was made even still. "Thanks, see ya Silv!" He felt pretty pumped now that there was someone cheering him on. This would be fun!
With that the boy hurried off to return to the competition.
