The brute and the seeress(Yeul)

The Thunder Plains it isn’t the most hospitable place in Spira yet here Jecht was walking through the plains. Risking the dangers of the plains wasn’t a worry for him at all after all he knew he was the indestructible legendary Jecht. He was the greatest blitzball player who ever lived and a guardian of Lord Braska along Auron. It was for the two of them that Jecht was now crossing this barren area and towards the Macalania Woods. Jecht was looking to see if they came back as he had. Both of them were good friends and he wanted to see them again. He was sure that he would find them if he just kept on looking for them. Jecht decided that he might find something about his friends if he revisited all the places they went on Braska’s pilgrimage. It was a long shot yet it was the only thing he could do to find them if they really were back.

As Jecht reached the end of the plains and the start of the Macalania woods a flash of lightning struck right near him hitting the ground right in front of him. The sudden flash of bright light and the sound made him jump back and fall down on his rear near a tower. Hehehe just like before huh….” Jecht picked himself up from the ground remembering the first time he was here with Braska and Auron. As they were doing the pilgrimage they took recorded on spheres so Jecht would have something to bring back to his kid Tidus. What he didn’t know at that time is he wouldn’t be going back to Zanarkand to be with his son and his wife fate had other plans for him and the rest of his party. The ending to their pilgrimage resulted in the death of both Auron and Braska while Jecht became the new sin for ten years until his own son ended the curse of being sin and finally defeating Yu Yevon for good. Taking a look around to see that no one was with him it reminded him how much he did miss traveling with his friends.

Jecht sighed slightly as he entered the woods he was halfway to the ruins of Zanarkand and yet no sign of Braska and Auron, but if they were alive then for sure they would have gone to Zanarkand at least to revisit it after hearing that Sin was gone for good. Or at least that's what Jecht thought. For now Jecht could go to Bevelle to look around and ask if someone has seen his old companions. If he couldn’t find anything in Bevelle then he would just keep on moving. Jecht had a good feeling about Bevelle though, it being one of the larger cities in Spira he was sure he could find something there as soon as he got to it. The air was cool and calming unlike how it was in the area right before. The sound of the wildlife echoing around the trees made a small smile appear around Jecht’s face for just a moment. The Macalania woods where he had left a message for his son all those years ago inside of a sphere.

Now wasn’t the time for remembering the past however Jecht had more important things to do at the moment. Slowly making his way through the trees Jecht took a wrong turn and missed the entrance to Bevelle. Instead he followed the path in the trees and ended up near the spring in the middle of the woods. “Great I took a wrong turn ehh whatever.” Walking over to a tree he placed his sword against it and walked into the spring. He continued until the water was waist high on him and then allowed his body to fall back into the water. While floating in the water he closed his eyes for just a brief moment to relax. Joining the Academy did take away most of his free time so being able to relax while was something that he hadn’t been able to do for a while now. While Jecht knew that if he asked Hope would more than likely help him look for Auron and Braska he wanted to do this by himself. If they weren’t on Spira that’s when he would ask for help in finding them.

Yeul had used the Historia Crux to go to Spira, she hadn't know how many worlds there were. She had ended up in Macalania Woods. She didn't know how she just been looking at the lake. She just loved looking at the lake. She just didn't know what to do in this world, she didn't see herself coming here since it wasn't in a vision. She just needed sometime for herself away from Pulse. She just needed sometime to think what she had truly wanted in her life. She had wondered who would come to the Woods at this time beside herself. She just looked at the lake in all of its beauty. She had hoped someone was here that she could talked to. She standing close to the lake without thinking. She just looked out in the water and saw someone floating. She had wondered if they were dead or just thinking and needed to float around the lake for a while. Yeul had put her feet in the water. She had smiled and she rarely ever talked. She had wondered what this person was doing out here in the water and what's on his mind. She had figured that she need to speak up for him to hear her. So, she had decided say something, so he wouldn't get creep out by her presence there. Yeul had store the information of the Woods in her head, so she would find herself around the place. She hasn't seen like these woods on Pulse. She had actually giggle just a bit that she was actually in the water in this lake looks so beautiful. Who is this person that is floating in the water. What does he do for a living? Would he be spooked about me being here? Or would he understand that I need some time and would love to meet new people. Yeul thought.

She just looked at the water and scooped up some water that she wanted to hold in her hands for a while. Yeul had breathed, and got herself mentally ready to speak to a person she didn't know. She didn't know if this stranger would mistake her for anything that were traditions and laws on this world. Of course, she had loved traditions and laws that was the main thing that she needed to figured out about this world. She had known of Pulse's traditions and laws, so that was familiar for her. This world was brand new for her, she didn't know anything about this world since she was just a traveler person just visiting a new world to get to know of this world. Yeul was mostly soft-spoken when she does speak. "Hi, I'm Yeul who might you be? And I got questions for you as well." Yeul asked. She had known that conversation is a two-way street, so she had decided to wait for the guy to talk to her. She didn't wanted to seem rude to the person who was here, so she just patiently waited.

Yeul had seemed out of place here whatever this world was. She had wanted to talk to this person whoever the person was, and hoped the person would talk to her. She didn't mind about the gender. She just stood there and enjoying the water beneath her. She didn't know to hate the water since it was her watery grave when she was the another Yeul. Of course she had known of the memories of the other Yeuls had experienced when they were alive, and hoped that she known that she can live up to her name even if her own experiences would be different. She just didn't know how much she didn't know of the other worlds, especially this one that she saw a beautiful lake that was so beautiful in the nighttime.

Yeul had the information of this lake safely locked in her head and how beautiful it is. She just stood there waiting for the person to talked back to her either to have a conversation with her, or tell her to go away the ball was on his side of this conversation now. She didn't know what he or she was going to say since she couldn't see who the person was when they are laying down just floating. Yeul had waited for the person to speak towards her. She would let the person have the time to come up with what they wanted to say towards her that is. Yeul just hoped that whoever this person was was honorable and gentle. Yeul had these thoughts going in her head of what this person was like, and hoped that what she thought was true. She wasn't the kind of person who would be rude and tell the person to hurry up. She wanted the person to take their time then answered her.

Floating in the almost still water Jecht allowed himself to relax for the time being. While he was walking through the woods it seemed like no one else was in the woods today. Jecht was use to having someone praise him for his actions so having no one around him to cheer him on or talk about how great he was, was a bit odd for him. While Jecht loved the attention he got from the people on Spria and the praise they gave him as a legendary guardian sometimes it got in the way of looking for Braska and Auron. That being said he wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world after all he was the great Jecht who wouldn’t want to cheer him on? Not only was he great but he knew he looked good he was a figure of perfection with an amazing body and a face that would even tempt angels to sin. Yet he wouldn’t dare to do anything with another woman he was married to his wife even if she was no longer alive he still loved her and considered her his one and only.

Soon Jecht felt some ripples in the water and a voice call out to him in from the shore line of the lake. Great another fan what does this one want? Private lessons or maybe an autograph. Well whatever they want I better not disappoint my fans. Jecht stood up in the water and looked at the person who was calling out to him. He was shocked at first to see that his fan was a lone little girl standing in the water. Her clothing was strange and very different from what most people on Spira wore. One thing that really bothered him about her was the fact that she was so young and alone. Tilting his head at her he wondered who she was and how she got here all alone deep in the woods. Even if Sin was long gone some of his spawn still lived on so Spira wasn’t the safest place for a person to wander around especially if their just a child like she seemed to be.

Jecht waited for her to finish talking before he said anything to her. He hoped that she would have answered some of his questions instead she rose more questions than before. Hearing her ask who he was, wasn’t a normal thing for him to hear. In Spria he was well known for what he did so for her not to know who he was was strange to him. “Did my presence cause you to forget everything you know? I am the great Jecht star player of the Zanrakand abs and legendary guardian of lord Braska. Everyone is Spira knows who I am so the question is who are you and where are your parents?” Jecht eyed the girl carefully as he stood in the water. She didn’t seem to be a threat to him at all more like a lost girl who needed to get back home.

Jecht slowly walked out of the water and headed towards her. As he got closer to Yeul he smiled at her. Stepping out of the water and walking past Yeul Jecht placed his hand on her head and rubbed the top of her head. “Come on let’s get you back to your parents they must be worried.” Jecht stepped away from Yeul and towards the tree he rested his sword.Grabbing his sword with his left hand and lifted it over his shoulder letting it rest on his shoulder. Jecht had no clue where Yeul came from, but he knew that if she had parents they would be worried if they noticed that she was missing. He knew this because of his own feelings about his son. Jecht now knew that Tidus was a strong kid, but while he was on the pilgrimage with Braska and Auron he worried about him. Walking back to Yeul Jecht looked at her waiting for her to respond to what he had said to her.
