Tenebra's Hunger smiled rather cruelly as the little vermin was sent flying into a wall. It made a couple steps towards where the mouse should have landed, aiming to finish the rat for good. Then it smelled another Heart moving towards her position and looked up to see someone with spiky blonde hair aiming a rather powerful downward strike at her. The girl raised its own "blade" and blocked the attack. The impact itself drove the Heartless into the ground, kicking up rubble and debris. The Hunger looked into the blonde's eyes and snarled, hating the thing that tried to hurt her. It struggled to keep the blonde's humongous blade from cutting into her. Meanwhile, the golems that had begun their attack were already being cut down. Cloud had taken one down completely and Rude and Squall seemed to be holding their own. Rude's golem crumbled into rubble, darkness smoking out of it, while the golem Squall was fighting attacked back, unleashing slow but powerful punches at the SeeD member. The other two picked up any heavy object they could find and threw them at Vincent, Cloud and Mickey. The Tomemaster, meanwhile, was busy trying to dodge Vincent's Nightmare attack. Luckily, it had the advantage of flight, thus enabling it to dodge easily. Unluckily, it still got hit three times, which caused it to try and run away in fright.
Then MM Miracle hit.
The Hunger had seen the attack coming and twisted her body and weapon so that Cloud's blade fell beside her harmlessly. However, It hadn't counted on the fact that it had a wide area of effect. She shrieked as the light hit her body and flew backwards. The Golems and Tomemaster were also hit by the Miracle. The Golems simply slumped over, while the Tomemaster fell to the ground and looked like it had gotten spirals for eyes. The Hunger, meanwhile, seemingly frozen in shock. The Light had done something to Its head and It couldn't shake it off easily. How... why... It didn't even notice it when Mickey hit the Hunger three times, due to the stun disorienting It completely. All it knew was that something was causing it pain AND IT NEEDED TO DIE.

King Mickey Mouse has been removed from the Raid due to a recent disciplinary action.
Squall is next to post in the thread. He has around two days.

It had seemed that his attacks had some effect on the Golem. However, the Heartless began to unleash its own few attacks. The first left hook seemed to be aimed straight for his face. With ease Squall spun to his left just barely missing the slow yet powerful attack. Yet, the second punch he didn't expect. The second had hit him in the stomach and sent him back a little.
Leon felt the ferocity behind the punch. The Lion knew that this Heartless punches were nothing compared to some other people he has met. Squall needed to help the others as soon as possible. So that's when he activated his ability, Fated Circle. Almost immediately the Lone Wolf jumped up into the air and launched a powerful fire like shock wave towards the Heartless.
Squall was hoping that this would end the Golem.

As the Golem crumpled under his fists, Rude was surprised that it didn't take too much. So he decided to go against one of the two that had decided to throw debris at Cloud and Vincent. It appeared as if the other man had things under control with the Golem that struck back. Now all that mattered was the last Golem then helping out Vincent with the Tomemaster.
Since they were stunned, it did not take long for Rude to take out the Golem he was targeting with a few power blows with his fists. He then opted to go for the last Golem on the field. He made sure to keep an eye on the main villain out of the corner of his eye. No need to be taken off guard while running around on the battlefield.
Plus he might have to cure someone at some point, which is another reason why he had to stay focus on his surroundings while taking on heartless. He did hear the comment that Vincent had made but didn't bother to reply back. If Reno didn't want to join the battle, then he didn't have to. The Turks weren't really involved in this. At least not all of them.

The sound of wind whistling past the ears of the Delivery Boy was the only sound that was heard from the young man as glowing blue eyes focused and fixated upon the figure of the 'girl' below him. It was only when Strife slammed his Fusion Sword down hard over his head, did he hear the ringing of steel upon rotary blade as the monster that was attacking his home, managed to block his Braver attack. That in itself was impressive. To be honest, he had underestimated this Heartless creature in wanting to end this façade in a single strike, but it appeared now that he was going to have to go about this the hard way. The ground beneath the 'girl' had cracked and caved in on itself, much like a crater caused by a heavy object smashing into the ground. Cloud himself remained held up within the air for moment, as he locked gaze with the Heartless monster beneath him and stared at her bloodthirsty eyes. Those eyes... Not even Sephiroth's were as bad as them. The sound of metal grinding upon metal reached Strife's ears as he continued to push down hard upon the rotary blade that the Heartless 'girl' had used to defend itself, his arms shaking from the pressure he was exerting, but finding it to be a fleeting effort as whatever this thing was he tried to attack, was just as – if not stronger, then he was.
A sudden shift of body weight caused the Delivery Boy to find his Fusion Sword free of the deadlock he was having with the Heartless. Before the Fusion Sword were able to slam into the ground beside the creature, Strife tugged the blade up and sunk his feet into the cracked floor of the crater he now landed in. Jumping back, he launched himself out of the crater and back onto level, solid ground. An attack from the sky rained down upon the 'girl' and caused it to screech in pain. That must have come from a recovered Mouse King, for a glance over his shoulder revealed that Leon, Rude and Vincent were still dealing with the Heartless that had been summoned. However, the chocobo-haired youth didn't recall seeing massive flying pieces of rock when he had arrived on the scene. Massive flying pieces of rock that were growing bigger and bigger with each passing second. By time the fake-SOLDIER decided that it would be a good idea to move away from the mysterious growing rocks, one of them smashed hard into his shoulder as he turned away to dive for cover. The debris shattered upon impact and the sound of that alone was enough to deafen out Strife's painful yelp as he thought his shoulder had been dislocated.
Tumbling across the ground, rolling over pieces of debris and fallen WRO Soldiers, Cloud eventually came to a stop where he gasped out a pain ridden lungful of air, only for a similar gasp to escape his lips when he tried to breath in. With some effort, he rolled over onto his stomach and crawled forwards until he reached a fallen WRO Soldier, whom the Delivery Boy used as cover while he poked his head up over their body and assessed the situation. From what he could tell, the debris had been thrown by one of the Golems that the Tomemaster had created with help from the Heartless 'girl'. Leon, Rude and Vincent were still dealing with them, though strangely they all now appeared to be standing still, as if in a daze or stunned. Was that due to the attack from Mickey? Speaking of the Mouse King, he was suddenly no where to be seen. Had that monster managed to knock him away again while Cloud was distracted from the debris attack by the Golem? Strife ducked his head back down being the WRO Soldier and closed his eyes, taking in a deep, calm breath to fill his lungs. It didn't hurt as much now and thus allowed the Delivery Boy to clamber back up onto his feet, a flash of light illuminating from hands as he summoned his Fusion Sword back into his gloved grip.
Being unable to spot the Mouse King and knowing first hand the strength that this Heartless creature had, the fake SOLDIER knew that he was probably unable to take this creature on by himself. ”VINCENT!!” Cloud shouted as he looked in the caped man's direction. Strife then brought his left hand up from the handle of his blade and pointed both his index and middle finger at his own eyes, before then shifting his hand to point in the Heartless 'girl's' direction, finish up with his hand clenching into a tight fist. The Delivery Boy then took off in a sprint towards the monster that had attacked the WRO, feeling a painful twitch within his right shoulder with every other step he took. A familiar fiery blue aura appeared around the whole of the massive Fusion Sword as Strife brought his right arm up and held his hand over his head, spinning the 'Buster Sword' about in a couple full rotations. This time though, the fake SOLDIER held the weapon upon his shoulder with both hands instead of behind his back. Heavy but fast footsteps carried Strife closer to his target before he suddenly dug his feet into the ground and leaned his body backwards before arching forwards furiously and swinging his weapon up from off his shoulder, over his head and sent slamming hard into the ground. Upon impact, a large Blade Beam fired out the tip of the Fusion Sword and was sent streaking towards the Heartless 'girl' like a bolt of lightning from the skies above. Should the attack hit, it would dissolve and separate with more Blade Beams seeking out nearby enemy Golems and the Tomemaster, attempting to strike them too.

Cloud can also use this move by jumping through the air and completing a forward somersault, where upon landing he smashes the ground with his Fusion Sword and releases three Blade Beams out before him. These won't dissipate if hitting an enemy though. [Cool Down]: 3 Posts. [Damage] Medium.

This was proving more difficult than it looked. The Heartless were study creatures, prepared for battle and giving them grief, but Vincent knew the real thread lay in the Hunger, the girl like creature that was shrieking its rage. The golems, the Tomemaster, they were just pawns to keep them busy. As long as they little guys were employed with them, that left Cloud and the Mouse free to attack the main villain of this fight. Vincent was a strong enough character to face on a major threat, but as always, he did prefer to slink in the background letting others do the majority of the work. You might call it lazy, but he just called it optimising strengths. Any offensive strike needed a good solid back up.
Vincent found himself dodging debris of all things, momentarily distracted by the Hunger's cry of pain. Who had damaged it? He didn't know. The Mouse was nowhere to be seen. Typical, Vincent thought. A couple of hits and then abandoned. Hm. That must be how others felt about him, coming in and leaving again. It always seemed to be the best thing at the time but that was no matter now. Vincent twisted, morphing into Crimson Mist for increased fluidity and dexterity. Still, he was clipped by the debris, knocking him out of his malleable state. Vincent rolled as he landed. "Huh," he muttered. That hadn't happened before. The pain though, wasn't as it should be, he knew that had to count for something.
"VINCENT!"
Vincent just reacted. He jumped and immediately went into pirouette, aiming his ten attacks at the stunned Tomemaster that had fallen to the ground helplessly. The beams passing Vincent by. Should they split and target the Tomemaster they would pass beneath Vincent harmlessly. As his feet landed on the ground, the caste Haste3 on Cloud deciding he was the best person for that spell.

The stun duration was long enough to deal with the golems and Tomemaster. The tomemaster was blasted back to the darkness from whence it came and when it did, any Golems that were around crumbled to the ground. The Hunger finally shook off its stun and looked around to reassess the situation. It noticed that the heroes had dealt with the Golems and... the Tomemaster? The Hunger seemed confused at the loss of the Tomemaster, calling for it like a mother bird calling for its young, sniffing the air for its presence. It was nowhere. It was gone. The Hunger then glared at the heroes and noticed that one was missing from its number. That infuriating little mouse. Why had it gone? Was it scared? Did it think the Hunger was defeated or would be by the remaining heroes. The Hunger snarled. How... How DARE it! Now the Hunger couldn't kill it and eat its Heart! The little girl balled its fists in anger. Fine, if that's how it was going to be, it would destroy the other four mongrels. The girl dashed to Vincent and Cloud and any other person nearby. Its fury was overpowering any other thought. Everything needed to die, die, die, die, DIE, DIE!
The only warning that the attack came was a sudden surge of Darkness in the area. Darkness that was corrupting and wrathful and... just wrong. It didn't belong on this world or any other. If any of the group had actually ventured deep into the Realm of Darkness, only there would they encounter the Deep Darkness. The Hunger crossed her arms as the Darkness surged around her in a radius that consisted of half a city block. It then released the attack, Aura of Annihilation, all while unleashing a shriek of utter malice and rage. The Aura itself was made of a crushing, corrupting Darkness. Any loose debris, even any cars, were sent flying, causing even more destruction and mayhem. It was clear that any semblance of control the Hunger had before, which wasn't much to begin with, was completely gone. It was going to kill the heroes, even if it had to annihilate the planet beneath them to do it.
The Aura faded away and the Hunger immediately dashed backwards. Its arms glowed and swung them in front of her, creating spears made of some sort of crimson energy. A battery of these things floated in front of her, like an artillery piece. The simile would soon be more relevant, as the Hunger then shot the spears, which flew in an arc before raining upon the area that the heroes occupied. It was a rather inaccurate attack, but the heroes would notice that, when the spears hit the ground and started exploding, it didn't have to be. The spears detonated, ruining the battleground even more and threatening any civilians or WRO soldiers still incredibly stupid enough to be in the area. The Hunger followed this up by seeing the flames of the helicopter wreckage, flying towards it and, grabbing the tail and using a very considerable amount of effort, showing the limits of her incredible strength, threw it at the heroes.
[Stun duration: Over

Aura of Annihilation - With an unearthly roar, the Hunger unleashes its Aura, covering a large area around it. This Aura is made of corrupting and crushing Darkness, dealing Heavy Darkness damage to all around it. [Cooldown: 3 rounds]
Hwacha of Despair - The Hunger creates many Darkness spears and fires them in the direction of Its enemies. Being an inaccurate attack, the spears tend to hit the area, which covers two city blocks, the opponents are occupying than the enemies themselves. However, while it can be dodged rather easily, the spears also explode and it covers a large area. This attack deals Heavy non-elemental damage to any opponent caught in it. [Cooldown: 4 rounds]]

As the weaker heartless had been defeated the Hunger soon did things to have Squall a bit more anxious to beat it. It hadn't taken long before a strange darkness felt like it was hurting him a bit from in every general area. What as this? How could a Heartless have this kind of move? Well this wasn't something to being worrying about just yet.
The moment the spears of darkness had been launched in every direction, Squall began to charge towards the hunger hoping none of the spears would hit. Luckily he managed not to get hit once he reached the Heartless. With no hesitation he attempted a swift, but powerful downwards strike towards the Hunger.
Leon knew with the help of his friends he should be able to take this thing down. Especially since Cloud was here, the Lion was certain he could win this fight. "Come on guys don't let up! Together we can beat this Heartless," He was trying to motivate his teammates with the utmost of courage.

With the lesser enemies destroyed, the group only had the big boss left. Rude knew this would not be any easier with how out of control it was. Which meant he wouldn't be able to use any of his grenades to attack with. A downside with a boss that was insane and watching where they were all at. The shriek caused him to wince but it was the Darkness that made him feel strange and in a bad way.
It was the debris that he had to watch out for as he neared the group to help attack the creature that took on a female form. His eyes went wide at the spears and ran away from the ones that were coming near his direction. Trying to follow Squall towards the enemy but the randomness of this attack wasn't allowing it.
A few explosions went off and a few large pieces of debris ended up hitting Rude hard in the shoulder and back. The pain was enough to make him go down on his knees as he was knocked forward. Getting up, he trudged onward to go help take down the creature of Darkness. “Oh crap!” he said as he took notice of what the creature was doing now.
This time he was able to fully move out of the way of the attack. Pulling out a smoke bomb, Rude set it off and threw it as hard as he could in order to try to confuse the enemy by hindering her sight. “I hope you guys can work in this,” he said while feeling the pain increase due to his throw.

Things were starting to get a little bit more complicated now, by the looks of things. Thanks to the attack that Mickey had managed to set off before disappearing, all the Heartless variations within the area had been stunned motionless, allowing the others to quickly clean up and finish off the Golems as well as the Tomemaster. All that remained now was the 'girl', but whatever this thing was, it were still a far greater threat then the other Heartless combined. Now was not the time to get sloppy. This was an enemy neither of the warriors here had fought before, certainly in Cloud's case at least. Who knew what this creature would be capable if it were to get desperate. It would be a smart idea to finish this battle now before it had the chance to spawn more Heartless or gather up enough strength to release an attack that could prove fatal. The Heartless were mindless monsters, whose only desire was to attack those with strong hearts; nothing more, nothing less. While there were still countless people within the city of Edge, hopefully the presence of the remaining four heroes would be distraction enough for the Heartless 'girl' to stop it from going off on another mindless rampage through the city streets.
Then things got worse.
The Delivery Boy's Blade Beam seemed to have missed it's target completely, as the 'girl' instead let out some sort of snarl before dashing straight towards himself and Vincent. All Strife could really do was to bring up his Fusion Sword before him and use the large, flat blade as a make-shift tower shield, hiding himself behind the weapon as the creature drew near. That was when he felt the familiar feeling of a Haste spell being cast upon him. The fake-SOLDIER's reflexes heightened, his speed increased, his agility rocketed. With a fast flex of his knees, the Delivery Boy launched himself backwards, turning within the air 180 degrees before his boots hit solid ground and he took off in a sprint. He dashed straight for his old comrade Vincent, whom he attempted to grasp the wrist of and pull him safely away from the crushing Darkness aura attack that the Heartless 'girl' had decided to release. However, he wasn't expecting the aura to cover such a vast distance and he felt a crushing force slam into his back, coming close to knocking him down to the ground completely. Whether he had succeeded in grabbing onto the ex-Turk or not, Cloud's grip had now loosened as he needed his free hand to help maintain his balance, using it to catch a street light pole and stopping himself from getting blown away from the aura of the Heartless 'girl'.
Strife started to take deep breaths now as he was hurting pretty bad. The debris that had struck him from earlier still caused a painful twitch within his shoulder whenever he tried to move his right arm, and now with that aura smashing into his back just now, the young man needed a little breather before getting back into the action. He wasn't as fit as he used to be, the last time he really picked up his blade to protect himself and his allies was back when he last fought Sephiroth during the second time the paths between worlds had opened themselves up. It was on Radiant Garden where Tifa had given him some of her Light to help him fight back Sephiroth. Cloud's lung's slowly filled with air as he started to take slower, more controlled breathes. He still felt the effects of Haste working upon him and Vincent must have had faith in him to decide he were the best choice for the spell. Cloud's sharp eyes watched both Leon and Rude charge the Heartless 'girl', Leon using his Gunblade and Rude lobbing a smoke bomb. But it seemed the Heartless 'girl' was not done yet, for the moment it had lowered it's powerful aura, the monster dashed away from the group before summoning several, perhaps hundreds, of crimson spear-like weapons from thin air.
Strife was far enough away to get enough insight of what these things were, for when it flung them out, they rocketed away from the monster in a very inaccurate spread, covering a vast area, much greater then the aura previously. These spears though, exploded violently whenever they struck something, be that the ground or a building. The destruction was painful to watch, but that was part of the beauty of humankind... they could rebuild. The destruction of Edge was not a complete bad thing. Sure, many of the civilians here had already gone through that once, perhaps twice before with the Sector 7 plate being dropped and with Meteorfall... But they all banded together and worked hard on rebuilding their home. They did it once, they can do it again and no stuck up, twisted, insane, pathetic excuse for a monster was going to get in their way! ”HYOOOOOH!!! A sudden burst of energy erupted from the Delivery Boy as his thoughts triggered a wave of emotion throughout his body, filling his lungs with fresh air and sending a wave of strength throughout every muscle of his body. A fiery blue aura surrounded himself now, not just his weapon. He had unleashed his power and broken through his Limit. A flash of light escaped his hands as the Fusion Sword transformed, morphing itself into the powerful Ultima Weapon. Cloud had activated his Ex Mode. It was time to end this battle once and for all!
Using his increased speed thanks to Vincent's Haste spell, Cloud zipped forth, dashing past, between, under and over the spears that were sent his way from the Heartless 'girl' until he was close enough to vanish into the smoke of Rude's smoke bomb. He held his breath, though that would do little to hide his blue flame-like aura that surrounded his entire body. He needed to get really close. He needed to stay low. Using both Squall's and Rude's attacks as a distraction, the Delivery Boy slipped past and behind the Heartless 'girl', where he brought up his Ultima Weapon and let rip his Climhazzard attack. He thrust his ultimate weapon forth, aiming three hard stabs to the Hunger's back which was followed up by a heavy 'uppercut' swing of the blade. If that were to land, it should have carried enough power to launch the Hunger into the air. If it did, Cloud was in hot pursuit, leaping up after it where he held the Ultima Weapon over his head in both hands, swinging a powerful overhead strike down on top of the monster to try and send it rocketing back down into the ground, giving Vincent and the others a chance to capitalize if everything went according to plan.

The little Heartless were gone leaving only the large and rather angry Hunger. The girl like Heartless was venting its rage on the world like a small child having a tantrum over candy. Its features were a hideous twist on the classical cute little girl visage most human females of that age bore. There was no softness to her cheeks, and her sharp pointed chin and slanted eyes shone with a cruelty not even Hojo had mustered. There was no enjoyment there. Only vengeance. Only need. Only a raging desire to destroy everything in a colossal wave of crushing fury. Nothing Vincent hadn't seen before.
Casting haste on Cloud had been a simple decision. Cloud was the strongest of them, a fiery light inside that when ignited was undistinguishable. It raged on, hard and glittering forever. When Cloud was free from the doubts that often plagued him, he was the best warrior vincent had ever seen: far better than Sephiroth for cloud alwaysh ad something to fight for: himself, Tifa, the two children he looked after (one in Barret's absence), and of course the world. It was often a heavy burden but when his mindset was right Cloud bore it well, taking on all of that responsibility with hardly a shrug. they say you can't keep a good man down. Maybe that's true. all Vincent knew was their best chance was probably Cloud and he wasn't going to waste Haste on himself.
Things were going south fast now. Darkness soared towards them and Vincent was unafraid. his only concern was for his comrades, whom he knew would undoubtedly be affected by it. But this darkness, Vincent had escaped unscathed before, not because of himself, but because of the darkness he held inside. Nero had tried to trap him inside it, but he had walked through it like walking through air. He had found Shelke, alone and afraid, her magic almost drained and pulled her out from that crushing black as though he were helping someone up from a fall. Nero had claimed it unprecedented but it had made sense. Soul wrought of Terra Corrupt. Darkness, it seemed, was in his nature.
So he was flattered when Cloud chose to attempt to protect him from the oncoming wave. In the confusion, Vincent lost track of his friend, knowing the Darkness had probably gotten to Cloud more than the others. (He couldn't speak for Leon, but he knew Cloud was more susceptible to negative emotions, and Rude was a well trained Turk and so would be fine). But as he turned to try to find the would-be soldier, to provide encouragement, Vincent felt a pounding surge in his chest. He felt his whole being pulse in and out, his awareness flickering. "Must...stay...in...control," he said with difficulty. He fought it, those precious moments slipping past allowing Cloud to rise up and attack the Hunger.
A girl's voice found him, monotone almost, with the softness of pink. Accepting his fate, Vincent felt the pain recede as Chaos came forth. Hopefully the winged creature would not attack his friends, at least, Vincent knew initially the greatest threat would be the Hunger and so they would be safe until it was neutralised. His body lengthening, his power increasing, his weapon becoming Death Penalty, Chaos emerged from the darkness into the smoke, and released a pulse wave of energy at the hunger, his body clouded by the grey smudged air.
Roaring Chaos brought its mighty weapon forward, Death Penalty light in his hand as he shot a round of lasers straight at the Hunger's heart. When done, Chaos zoomed forward, intending the smash the little creten with his body. The little creatures next to it were unimportant yet, but this thing, this thing had to die.

The Hunger snarled challenges at the group of heroes as it stared at them, as if waiting for them to make a move. They didn't hesitate, either, as something burst near the "girl" and her vision was suddenly fogged by smoke. Smoke? Really? The Hunger did not need to see the heroes themselves. It could smell their hearts and see the light within them that burned like a torch in a dark cave. As such, it was able to hop backward, dodging Squall's downward slice. It was about to make its own attack when something caught it by surprise. It looked around and saw... it couldn't be. One of the Hearts had seemed to ignite with a light that rivaled the Mouse from before. It was powerful and the Hunger didn't like it. Not one bit. She readied herself for the inevitable attack but the Haste spell cast on Cloud meant that he was already in the monster's face. The Hunger then felt something pierce her torso. It looked down and saw the Ultima Weapon piercing her right through. It made a few choking sounds, looking confused and shocked. Then Cloud sliced upwards, sending her flying before hitting her with a downwards slice. The Hunger skipped along the ground like a pebble, before regaining her equilibrium and back-flipping away, luckily dodging the lasers from Chaos!Vincent's gun. The Hunger clutched its torso and fell to a knee before getting back up on her feet. Darkness was leaking out of her, as if she was bleeding it and probably was. It breathed heavily in pain. The heroes had succeeded in finally dealing major damage to the Hunger.
But it wasn't going to give up. Not without dealing pain hundredfold to what it received.
The Hunger saw Chaos!Vincent fly right at her. This "hero" looked like it had given in to whatever darkness lied in his heart. Tch... nuisance. As Chaos!Vincent was about to hit the Hunger, the Heartless jumped over Vincent, stopped midway and then slammed a foot into the demon's back. And then another. And another and another and continued to unleash bone-shattering stomps into Chaos back before continuing the combo with a flurry of five slashes from her razor-sharp claws. Then it glared at the other heroes and flew at them, now a blur not unlike when she took down the helicopters that started this whole mess. She flew past the heroes, unleashing a three-hit combo of razor-sharp slashes at Cloud, Squall and Reno. Then she stopped herself behind them. Her Hunger was insatiable now. It gnawed at her. She howled into the air and a group of three Invisibles and two Angel Stars appeared. As she flew off into town to find more Hearts to consume, two of the Invisibles disappeared, with a ring of darkness and fire appearing around Squall and Reno. The rings would follow the two heroes' every movement until about one or two seconds before the ring then closed around them, hopefully hitting them for Heavy damage. The third Invisible went to attack Cloud, trying to stab him with his sword. The Angel Stars focused their attentions on Chaos, one shooting homing spheres of light at the demon while the other cast a tornado around it and flew at Chaos, seeking to damage him by contact with the Tornado.
---------
Call Heartless - Like Its other forms, the Hunger has the power to call others of its kind, to its side. Much like the Alpha of a species, when the Hunger roars, the Heartless comes calling.
Three Invisibles (5 HP)
Two Angel Stars (5 HP)
Aura of Annihilation - With an unearthly roar, the Hunger unleashes its Aura, covering a large area around it. This Aura is made of corrupting and crushing Darkness, dealing Heavy Darkness damage to all around it. [Cooldown: 2 rounds]
[Cooldown: 3 rounds]
(I really hate the Invisibles' attack, even when I'm writing it up. :/)

Even though is own attack missed and the smoke bomb had only distracted the girl for short time, Clouds powerful attack managed to hit the Heartless. It was quite obvious that the creature had taken a good amount of damage from the attack. However, the girl let out a loud roar which summoned multiple Heartless before fleeing into town.
They were expected to play a game of hide and go seek? Before Squall had the chance to even follow the girl, one of the Invisible at turned into a ghostly form and appeared around him in the shape of a black circle. Before, he had time to react the creature had finished its attack dealing a good amount of damage to the Lion.
Moments after the attack had hit Squall, he began to stumble around a bit. To be honest Leon hadn't really fought this Heartless that much so this was new. The pain he had felt had slowly dissipated. His free hand soon glowed a bright green, which released the spell Cure to heal his wounds by a bit.

Vincent seemed to be the only one majorly affected by the Darkness attack from earlier. Rude did not like this one bit and hoped that he would be reasonable enough as Chaos not to hurt the three helping him fight the creature in front of them. Luckily Cloud and Chaos did the girl creature for heavy damage. That didn't seem like it would be enough!
As the girl attacked, he had dodged the final attack of hers but not the first two. He took the time to use his materia with Cure on himself. Considering it seemed to be the same idea Leon had and he is glad that he wasn't the only one with a cure spell. That would just of been horrible if only one member of the team only knew cure.
“Great. More of these Heartless to annoy us and distract us with,” muttered Rude as brought out his Electro-Mag Rod. He flicked it open to the full baton length. He wasn't too surprised that two of the Invisibles had vanished from their line of sight. As one focused on attacking him and he tested out how the attacked work, the Turk just barely managed to dodge roll out of the ring with a split second to spare.
“Tch.” He waited to see if any of the smoke showed where the Heartless was at before it fully dissipated into the air or if the ground gave away any signs before he attacks. It soon reappeared and he charged forward and swung hard with his Electro-Mag Rod in hand. Not bothering to flip the switch on the side to make it charged.

It was all thanks to the Haste spell that Vincent has cast upon him. With the increase in his speed, it was the only reason that Cloud could think of that resulted in him being able to slip close enough to this creature with enough time in hand to deal a blow upon it. His eyes were cold as they continued to glow, staring at the Heartless before him as his Ultima Weapon pierced into 'her'. Even when the monster before him made a couple unnerving sounds, the Delivery Boy questioned whether he had even hurt this thing in the first place. The bane of all Heartless was a Keyblade... Ultima Weapon might have been a weapon powerful enough to take on Sephiroth as well as the WEAPONs that guarded the planet... But just how effective was it really against those from another world entirely? The smaller critters like the shadows and soldiers were not a problem... But none of them carried the sheer amount of strength and Darkness that the fake-SOLDIER could feel radiating from the creature he had just attacked. Was it an act to lower their guard, or was it generally wounded from the sharp blade of the unusual looking weapon. Cloud frowned, pondering if he had used the correct attack on this beast.
Upon finishing the whole attack and watching as the monster skipped across the ground before falling to one knee, the Delivery Boy landed upon the ground with a soft thud and turned about fully to face the direction the creature had been sent. His blue, fiery aura was still present around his whole body, as he continued to feel the strength flowing through him due to his Limit breaking. Though Strife knew that once this ended, he'd struggle. He had to finish this before that happened. Then something happened out the corner of his eye that really wasn't expecting. Vincent had lost control of his own Darkness and was allowing Chaos to reveal itself. This was bad... As evident by the look Rude had spread across his face. Cloud too shared the same look. Chaos was an unpredictable monster, much like the Heartless creature the four of them fought against. At any point, Chaos could turn around and attack any of them... And this creature was certainly more powerful then the Delivery Boy could ever hope to achieve. Seeing it raise it's gun and point the barrel in the Heartless' direction though, was enough to allow the tiniest sigh of relieves to escape his lips. So long as Chaos was busy with the Heartless, it would be one less problem for him to worry about.
While the Heartless was recovering itself, Strife took a moment to look over at his comrades. While Vincent had gone Chaos and, in theory, berserk, Rude and Leon were tending to their wounds with their own magic, each of them casting what looked like a Cure spell upon themselves. Smart, as this was a perfect chance to do so while the monster they all fought was down. The Delivery Boy still felt that twitch within his right shoulder and the whole of his back... Nay, all of his body felt 'crushed' so to speak, from the Aura the Heartless had released earlier. Fortunately though, while breaking his Limit, Cloud had a Regen spell cast upon him. While weaker initially when a Cure, the effect would stack up over time. To be honest, he was feeling a little better already. He couldn't just sit here though and let his new, temporary strength go to waste. He had to keep pushing, keep fighting for his home and for his friends that fought beside him. A blur then whizzed past him, Chaos flying straight for the Heartless, to which 'she' managed to dodge and send a kick into his back, followed up by several more. Cloud grit his teeth and tightened his grip upon the handle of Ultima Weapon.
An instant before he were able to leap over to Chaos' aid, the creature attacking him stopped and went on a rampage, far faster then 'she' had moved before. Even with his Ex Mode and Haste cast upon him, Cloud's swing of his sword to swat the Heartless away missed entirely, the creature's claws sinking and tearing into his back as he tried to roll away from 'her'. He had to dive, leaping away from the monster and using his left hand to flip himself back over onto his feet, a make-shift cartwheel of sorts. Then he arched his back, his left hand reaching over his shoulder in a futile attempt to put pressure on his new wound, a pained expression spreading across his face as he felt the blood trickle down his spine. By time he managed to reopen his eyes, the Heartless 'girl' had vanished from sight entirely, though 'her' powerful presence was still lingering somewhere within Edge. More weaker Heartless, if you could call them that, had shown up too. Most likely summoned from the 'leader' that had disappeared. Two Angel Star and three Invisible. Strife remembered them from the Games that Phil held at the Coliseum from time to time. They were still the small fry of the group and Cloud knew he had to keep his focus on the main Heartless, especially now that it appeared 'weakened', proved now by how it fled from the battle. A boost of Regen suddenly washed over the Delivery Boy, not healing his back entirely, but it was enough to quench some of the pain. Enough so that he were able to take up Ultima Weapon in both hands once more... and spot an Invisible flying towards him, it's own sword raised.
Strife turned around to face the incoming threat and swung his Ultima Weapon from the ground up as he faced the Invisible, sending his blade clattering against the Invisible's to block it's attack and expose it. Cloud then stepped in to close to gap, his Haste buff coming into use once more. Lifting his left arm up, Cloud pressed his palm against the Invisible's torso. As he did, a bright green glow escaped from his left forearm, Materia being activated before a large, gathered explosion erupted from his hand, casting a warm, fiery orange glow over the immediate area. Having cast Firaga on the Heartless before him, Strife turned his back upon it and used the smoke and dust caused from the explosion to dash away, spiriting off through Edge as he chased after the Heartless 'girl'. He could not let his Limit go to waste! He had to find her and strike fast and hard.
