What an exciting situation to be in! Four powerful beings all gathered in the same location with nothing but the fragile air and cool wind separating them all from each other. While everyone held a weapon in their hands, the situation had suddenly become a stand off over an all out attack by the Tsviets, though that was bound to change the moment the Crimson SOLDIER spoke the wrong thing to Nero the Sable. Even Rosso had skidded to a halt to send a death glare towards the Quoter of LOVELESS. While it was true that Genesis had not had the pleasure of meeting Rosso the Crimson face to face up until now, he had no doubt in his mind that both Weiss and Nero had informed the rest of the Tsviets of his decline to aid them in their mission. Whoever or whatever these Restrictors were, they must have been a formidable force if even Weiss had asked the SOLDIER 1st Class for help. Why didn't he help, you might as yourself? No doubt a question constantly running through the mind of every Tsviet.
Genesis' long crimson coat blew out softly to the side, the ends catching the rustling against the backs of his boots. His bright blue eyes looked from Rosso, to Nero, then back again. He didn't need to give Mickey any more attention or recognition that he had already done so. Genesis knew as much as Mickey did that the Mouse King would be digging himself a grave if he turned upon the SOLDIER 1st Class right now. Working together, the Mouse King and Genesis had a chance to beat back the Tsviets, but was that the course of action which had to be taken? A glance towards Rosso and a careful look into her eyes told the Crimson SOLDIER that she was wary of his presence. You didn't become a First Class SOLDIER by doing nothing. Nero on the other hand, seemed to have put on Rosso's shoes and was now itching for a fight in her place. A fight was not what Genesis had come here for, but he'd protect the Mouse King if it had to come down to that. Above everything else, Genesis knew that Nero wanted to find Weiss. Whatever they got up to after that was their problem, though obviously if it had anything to do with the civilians of Gaia or Gaia itself, then he'd be throwing a spanner into their works again to stop them.
"Correct, I have no desire to help the Tsviets, however, I also need the Mouse King alive. You will halt your attack upon him." Genesis' words were clear, but not demanding. His voice was soft and poetic as it always was, his face giving off no signs, no clues, no expressions other then the cold stare he was revealing. Avoiding a fight here would be for the best. Civilians were living in the area, the houses dotted about all the Districts. Nero could cause some collateral damage with those guns of his, both of which were now being aimed at his chest. Better that then at the Mouse King. His crimson gloved hand flexed tighter about the handle of his Rapier, glowing eyes flicking to Nero as he spoke up to Rosso, telling her to continue her fight with Mickey. This guy was going to be tricky to deal with, being the brother of Weiss and all, but letting him hear what he wanted might be the key to resolving this situation peacefully... or as close to that as possible.
Being called 'G' again brought back memories of the time he first met Weiss and Nero. Was he really going to have to fight the brother of the Immaculate? Doing such a thing would surely bring about Weiss anger, and from what he had heard, he was perhaps even stronger then Sephiroth... but then again, Sephiroth simply continued to grow and grow with no ceiling in sight. "Weiss was distraught to learn of your death, Nero. He'll be happy to know you're back among the living once more. Better to kept it that was for your reunion with him, no?" There was a solid tone to his voice as the SOLDIER 1st Class kept his eyes locked onto Nero's own crimson orbs. Those guns were still being aimed at his chest, but Genesis wasn't faltering at all. He was as solid as a rock, as calm as the night sky overhead, as cool as the wind blowing by. Keeping his attention focused on Nero, the Crimson SOLDIER raised his left hand up and flicked a finger in Mickey's direction, beckoning him to get closer. Get over here you dumb mouse... I won't reach you if Rosso suddenly rushes and Nero shoots... He thought to himself calmly.

Traverse Town was about to feel the destruction of combat between highly trained soldiers. Rosso didn't really care because she was expecting to get off this planet as soon as possible. Just not before she killed the rat. With Genesis here who wanted the Mouse King alive, she knew that accomplishing this goal would get rather tricky. If she continued her assault, she was sure that Genesis would interfere and cause problems for her. As an ex-SOLDIER 1st class, he would be a powerful enemy that she could not afford to fight while focusing on a different enemy. She gritted her teeth while she tried to come up with a logical plan. Either way she would need to confront Genesis, but it would be a matter of if she abandoned her attempted slaughter of the vermin or not to do so.
She would then look at Nero who reacted to Genesis's appearance. She knew that Deepground had ill relations with the crimson SOLDIER. Weiss and Nero more so due to instances in the past. With Nero coming out of the shadows and aiming his guns at Genesis, she knew things were going to get serious. Maybe a true rainfall of blood would finally happen in this pathetic town. Nero stated that G was his, which she had no problem with. Nero wanted her to stay out of his fight, just as she wanted him to stay out of her battle. "I have no problem leaving that filth to you. Do try and not to die though. I don't want to have to be the one that drags your body back to Lord Weiss." She didn't care much for Nero, but she knew how Weiss would react if he found out that Nero had fallen to Genesis. Something she did not want to see.
Rosso would turn back to the Rat King, her malicious grin returning. "So where were we Rat King? Oh right; me mutilating you and hanging your mangled corpse from a street lamp." She would jump up into the air off the roof before coming down at the Mouse King in a sprialing fashion. Her weapon was outstretched at him. Crimson energy would surround her, turning her into a giant bullet coming right at the Mouse King. One of her more powerful moves against enemies as the sheer size of this attack made it difficult to dodge. If it hit, it would deal heavy damage to the Mouse, as well as some recoil to Rosso due to being completely surrounded by energy and the impact. It was fine though; she could live with some self-impacted damage if it meant she could do away with the wretched rat and turn her attention to the soon to outbreak battle between Nero and Genesis. She wanted to see Genesis suffer as badly as possible. ----------------------- Teleport: Charge Complete Bloodburst Bullet Used

You have no idea, do you?
Crimson eyes glared through midnight black bangs hanging over the thin, pale face of Nero the Sable. This man, this arrogant man thoughg that he could show up, out of the blue, after so many years, and command that Rosso halt her attack on the Mouse King? Surely, Rhapsodos knew that he had no control over the Tsviets, whether or not they were infused with his genes, in some scientific way .. similar or related. Knowing Rosso, Genesis was more or less commanding a wild cat not to kill a rat. He continued to hold Genesis' gaze steadily, displaying his relentless anger and hatred through his eyes; his only means of expression. The shadows and wisps of blackness floated in steady circles around his being, and danced under his boots.
I could swallow you in an instant.
The darkness was reaching out, flattened against the pavement, twisting, turning, curling-
But, why ... Why am I waiting?
Nero tightened his grip on the black pistols, the quick instruments of death held delicately in his hands. He could end Genesis in mere moments with his darkness, and let the man suffer within the nightmare of his being until he was finally consumed. Yet here he was, guns nearly shaking in his hands as he directed them towards the man who should pay for his suffering. He couldn't pull the triggers. Nero the Sable, a high ranking Tsviet, a man who had mercilessly sent thousands of people to their deaths, was suddenly frozen to the spot in the presence of a an ex-1st Class Soldier. It wasn't fear that held him there, nor was he really questioning his motives. No, he most certainly wished to see Rhapsodos' face smeared in the same color as that accursed coat of his.
Genesis spoke up again, and the Sable Tsviet stiffened up and hardened his resolve. His fingers danced on the weightless, cold triggers for only a hair of a second, before they withdrew entirely. Those words that had just elegantly left the ex-Soldier's mouth, that had flowed forth so sure, so ready, heavily weighed with confidence that it would halt Nero in his very tracks. If that was the crimson champion's goal, he succeeded. The surging, fiery anger that had been burning through the Tsviet's being all but subsided for a few moments. Weiss.. This man had spoken to him. Had talked to him since Nero's own death. That meant that he was still out there, somewhere. His brother was still out there somewhere!
The tranquility of knowing that his brother, the Immaculate, was indeed alive and well only lasted for a brief time. Off to the side, Nero heard Rosso beginning to engage the Rat King in combat once more. The way Rhapsodos had motioned to him, it seemed he wanted to keep the rodent from being harmed. If that was the case, he'd rather have Rosso continue her fight alone. The life of the mouse and the Crimson's life both weren't of all that importance to him. In Deepground, one fought for one's own right to live. Nero cared about his life, and his brother's life. That was it. For the moment, he cared about what happened to his other "brother", the man in red who stood steady and strong in front of him. He needed this man alive for just a bit longer, to observe and gather the last tidbits of information. If the Sable got what he wanted, if he completed the mission he'd assigned himself upon awakening, then perhaps he and G could part, just this once, without a fight.
Within seconds, a hissing, trace of darkness left two more pistols grasped in the claws of Nero's metal wings. He was totally armed now, and the shadows around his feet danced in the pavement, licking at Genesis' boots. With all four guns now directed at the ex-Soldier, and his darkness reaching out, the Sable's message was clear; Move, and I will kill you before you take your next breath. Bullets weren't enough to stop a Soldier like Rhapsodos, no, but he could easily be caught in the darkness at such a close proximity. Nero tilted his head at Genesis, ignoring the sounds of combat so that were occurring right next to them, and watched him through narrowed, patient crimson eyes.
Nero was standing his ground. His resolve was solid. Genesis would die, but it would be he and Weiss dealing the final blow.
"And where is my brother, Genesis," Nero spat his full first name with venom, no longer hiding behind the one letter they were given as his name those some odd years ago, "Tell me where you found Weiss, and perhaps I'll, ah ... remove your rodent friend from Rosso's bloodlusting fury."
He wasn't spelling out for Genesis, but he trusted the poet to decipher the meaning. Tell me what I want to hear, and Rosso and I will be on our way.
