Eyelashes slowly prying themselves open at the sudden whispers of his heartless companion, a bright light flashed into his dark blue orbs. A cold breeze swept through the window and into the enclosed room, goose bumps rising on his uncovered arms. Contracting his abdominals, the soldier sat up, folding his arms over his, now, crunched up knees. Grabbing ahold of his hand, creating a double layered fist to warm up his fingers, a sigh escaped from the man’s breath; not looking forward to what he had been woken up to. Snugged inside a pocket on his backpack, to the right of him, was an edge of a metallic object. Turning his torso to the ninety degrees, the man extended his arms and reached for it. With the end of it at his touch, the man swiftly plucked it from the pocket, revealing what it was. A golden card was in his grasp, with three triangular points at one side of the card. Dead smack in the middle was a square with a plain purple background. Otherwise, in the center of the square; nothing was there.

Fluttering from the left, a pigeon perched itself onto the window sill; grabbing Shiro’s attention. As if he were about to get swung on, the prepared soldier whipped his head to see the source of the noise; sighing in relief that it was just a bird cocking it’s head in multiple directions. Twilight Town; he was glad that he returned, with munny from odd jobs. Well, they weren’t particularly jobs. In the massive universe, while the keybladers were off fighting the darkness, little did they know that others below them had troubles; such as a young girl gone missing. To make up for their pathetic attempt to make things right, Shiro stepped in and was rewarded. Typically he’d decline, but they insisted when the man had helped them. Therefore, the soldier had the luxury of sleeping in a motel for once; it was quite nice. The Utuago man used his chance, resting the card on the bed, showered, and went for breakfast downstairs in the lobby.

Once finished, the door creaked open as the intellect walking inside. Clothes completely washed and dried, the man felt rather nice that day. The soldier also shaved the stubble that was present. With that all done, it was time for Shiro to look into the so called “gift”. Grabbing the card from atop the bed, the man’s deep blue eyes narrowed at the sight of what was now in the middle. It was his naked body in a fetal position, but there was something obviously different. No scars were seen. The soldier’s body was covered with the marks of pain, but yet there were none shown on the card. It was as if the card’s image took place before-

The door slammed shut.

On the dark, oddly colored surface, matter started to spark with static; pebbles rumbling as if there was an earthquake. Then it was there, a dim gray portal appeared out of nowhere. Spat out of it was a man dressed in a leather jacket, black cargo pants, and wearing combat boots. Since that was the nth time of traveling through voids, Blackout was accustomed to it and actually landed on his feet for the first time. Dawning the yellow helm with the insignia of heartless blaring on the front, nothing dared to touch the man in the realm. A shadow or two appeared and then skidaddled away at the sight of the gravity manipulator as he observed his surroundings. To be honest, there wasn’t much. The land was barren, floating, and had nothing much to it other than rocks and strange terra structures. The main thing that was obnoxiously there was a castle in the center of what seemed to be nowhere. Large golden doors were noticed with odd markings as their design. What had the man stepped into?

Hearing Fear’s instructions, the man took off towards the large door. The barrier between him and the inside was no more as the man pushed the huge doors, side by side, open. The soldier was not wasting anytime with it. Shiro found himself in a large white hall with gray pillars at the side. It was a very quiet atmosphere, at least it was until it started.

Walking towards the end of the hall, a small set of steps leading to another door, an internal noise commenced. A faint ringing traveled through the head of the intellect. Bringing his set path on a halt, Shiro dropped the card and instantly set his palms against his head as the ringing grew louder, and louder, and louder. Grunting at the mental agony, the man’s eyes squinted shut, he dropped down to his knees on the marble flooring. All of a sudden, the annoyance stopped as soon as the soldier’s body hit the floor head on. Shiro Utuago had passed out before the door to his desired answers to his heavily important questions; the card shining on the floor to his side. With an unconscious body lying on the floor in the first hallway of the castle, silence broke out; the only sound being the breathing of the soldier.

Fear- A heartless that stems from its source, a tattoo of a heartless insignia. It connects with its host (reading thoughts, communicating mentally with the host), being able to whisper to nearby heartless and is able to connect to other heartless of its type. There is no physical appearance until it becomes one with the user temporary, creating a physical helmet that protects the head. It also combines the voices of the user and the heartless itself; for Shiro’s case it is this. The summon only officially takes place when it becomes physical, as the tattoo can never die unless it is killed by another heartless. The HP only applies to Fear when he is physically summoned; and when his HP is zero, the physical form does not return for the entire thread and the only move usable would be the Whisper. Fear holds a higher position among heartless, therefore has a say to heartless that follow the command of Ansem. [HP: 10 Cooldown: 4 turns.]


Void Lvl1-: An ability of Blackout’s that allows him to create a void, a purple swirling gateway that sends off things to anywhere in the universe. It is mainly used as an escape route. [/font][/b] The sight of a building within the distance was a huge relief for the evil being. Creed had been walking for over thirty minutes since her portal decided to drop her off in the middle of nowhere. Behind her was nothing more than hills, dull greenery and ragged rocks with a dirt path which led her to where she stood now. The further she ventured on the more her surroundings started to shift. The blue sky had gradually evolved into a dark blue-ish grey hue, with dark clouds occasionally allowing the sun’s rays to peak through their heavy cloak. That wasn’t the thing she had picked up on, however; from what was once a grassy area had now turned into a long purple road, leading up to a dull golden castle of a abnormal structure. The thing she found strange was that the castle and the purple path were floating in midair?

Creed paused for a moment as she walked halfway up the purple path. She took the time to look over the strange castle, comparing it to the one she once lived in. The structure was all wrong. The design looked as though some kid had designed it. What castle has towers pointing out to the side of the building? And at a slope at that! Her eyes turned down to the edge of the path, noticing the pillars and rooftops pointing downwards, too. ”What. The. Hell?” She blinked, taking in the abnormal design. She only wondered what it could be like within. No doubt there were doors on the ceiling and stairs crisscrossing one another. Yep, she was certain it was going to be a labyrinth inside.

Curious to discover the secrets lurking behind those golden doors, Creed pushed forward. Her heels clicked against the path as she approached the large doors, reaching an outstretched hand, Creed placed her hand flat against the golden door preparing to push them open until she froze on the spot. Purple eyes casted downward, her gaze empty as her mind wondered elsewhere.[/ul][/div]

”You can’t go in there.” The guard shook his head, placing a forbidden arm across Creed’s torso. She looked up at him, anger sweeping across her face from the words and actions he used. How could a guard refuse her entry within her own home?

”‘Your highness’.” She growled with a false smile, correcting his mannerism before the princess. Reaching up, she brushed away his arm and folded her arms in frustration. ”And why the hell not?!” He only shook his head for her answer, frustrating the princess even more. It was obvious she was about to explode, she was known for her outbursts, and so he pressed on to answer her demanding question.

”King Tokken has ordered no one is to step foot within this wing of the castle, including members of his family. Forgive me, your highness.”

Creed waved her hand, dismissing the subject completely. ”I’ll deal with the aftermath of my father. Move aside!” She took a step forward and could see her words had fallen onto deaf ears as neither one of the two guards moved out of her way. ”I said, MOVE!”

[/i] the bad! How can something try and top her. Whoever was hiding behind these white walls would soon fall victim to her dark wrath. It would seem that this body before her had already fallen victim to someone else. That could only mean someone else was here, and prepared to kill.

Upon approaching the body, Creed’s face started to fade from a smile to a more serious tone. It was a man - that much was certain. And his sense of style seemed familiar. It was only when she walked around the body did she notice the yellow mask he wore. No…it couldn’t be, could it? Gently, she pushed the man’s body with the tip of her foot to lift his shoulder from hiding his face. There it was; the strange heart shape symbol across the front of the yellow metallic face. Blackout! Her foot immediately pulled away, allowing his body to fall limp once again. Why was he here? How could their paths cross within the space of weeks?! And why was he dead?! The mere thought of his death caused her blood to pump. Someone had stolen his soul!

Angered purple eyes turned to the door above the stairs behind her. Someone had done this to him, and she wanted revenge. Only for the fact that she wanted to kill him…nothing more, she was sure. With death now set on her mind, Creed walked up the few steps and towards the door. Reaching for the handle, she turned the knob and pushed…and then pulled. Locked! She punched the white wooden structure in frustration, knowing she was trapped, as it was the only way to proceed forward. The only other door was the exit.

Stumped, she walked back down the stairs and towards Blackout. His chest was moving, revealing her that he was still alive. At least whoever had done this to him had not taken his soul from her. The disturbed thoughts started to swirl within her as she pondered whether to end his life now whilst she had the chance. But where was the fun in that? Killing someone while they slept was a coward’s way to murdering. Plus, she wanted to see the fear as she would watch his life drain before her. The thought excited her. Giggling like a school girl, Creed couldn’t wait for that day to come. Maybe it was today? It could be why their paths had crossed once again. It was destiny, surely?

Sighing, she decided she would wait until he woke. Letting out a bored sigh, she parked herself on his back, sitting on Blackout’s unconscious body with her head in her hands. Her eyes travelled to the back of his yellow head, waiting for him to show some signs of movement. ”Wakey wakey, sleepy bum.” She said in a singsong tone, poking him between the shoulder blades with her black claw. Nothing. He was out cold. Sighing once again, she guessed it would be a waiting game, something she wasn’t too fond of.

”Hmm?” Her eyes sparked interest in a crown shaped card next to her foot. Curious, she picked it up and flipped it over in her fingers to be shown a naked body on the other side. ”Oh god!” She leaped from off of Blackout, throwing the card away from her and allowing it to fall near the white door. Her hands pressed against her face, hiding her innocent eyes from the body on the card which was none other than Blackout. ”Who keeps naked pictures of themselves?!” Her boots clicked against the tiled floor as she paced back and forth trying to rid the image from her head. But the noise of a door unlocking was quick enough to do such pleasure for her.

Her hands pulled from her face, allowing her purple to eyes shift to the white door which was now partly opened. Had someone opened it on the other side? She turned her attention to Blackout wondering if he was playing some kind of game with her. No, how can he? He’s out cold. It could be the one who had knocked him out? That thought alone drove Creed to walk up the stairs to discover who this mysterious being was. Slowly, she pushed the door open enough to allow her to step inside. The slamming of the door behind her startled Creed as she was too busy coming to grips with her new surroundings.

As Creed stepped through the massive doors, the area around her shifted slowly into a new scene, like props, décor, and color filled a white painting one at a time. The woman found herself in a high tech environment; as if she were in a military bunker from the future. Circular bright lights were cemented into the ceiling, lightening every area up. The intensity of the lighting could blind one who stared directly into it. There were metallic cabinets everywhere, as there were computers; a simple pattern against the wall: cabinets, computer, cabinets, computer, and so on. Workers in lab coats patrolled the halls, making an alarming clicking noise whenever they walked. Behind the objects, the walls were covered with circuits that lead to the contraptions meant for security purposes, informative purposes, and other miscellaneous purposes. If she were to follow a group of scientists, she’d find herself being sprayed by a decontamination gas meant for eradicating any germs on her body; in a translucent blue fashion. The gas would emit from tiny holes in the walls, preparing her for the next protocol ahead of her.

Mounted automatic guns scanned anyone within a certain radius, pinpointing their head with a red dot. Any action considered hostile to the system would be given the punishment of a quick death, such as taking out a knife. There was a tram in the center of the hall, with trays meant to carry any weaponry such as guns to an unknown area. Like security at an air point, the target would be scanned for any magical/supernatural entities located within the body. A chemical would then be conjured up within seconds and sprayed onto whoever, prohibiting whatever power until a shower was taken. What would draw Creed to go through such? That was easy; the screaming.

The sound of intense cracking of a whip was heard, followed by the yelling of a child in agony. It was muffled by some sort of sound barriers, but it could be heard by anyone with a keen sense of hearing. Once through the security measures, any person with an ID would be allowed through a set of automatic doors by scanning an ID. To be even more exact, another scanning would take place; one of the photo ID and then one of the person to make a comparison. If the computer concluded that the match was identical, the person would be allowed to enter a more chaotic room. It was the back of another room, with a one sided transparent window between; such as there would be in an interrogation room. On the side where one could see through were a dozen of machines and computers. A couple of men stood there, talking to the workers, dressed in suits and shades; clearly government. On every computer screen operated by a scientist were records and files, expressing the name “BLACKOUT” in bold.

On the other side was the source of the disturbing noise. What stood was a scrawny boy in chains, shirtless, with the looks of a sixteen year old. Long black bangs covered the child’s eyes, hiding the tears somewhat that dripped from his eyes. A metallic whip struck the boy’s back and front (alternated) every ten seconds by a machine with a strong force, causing flesh to rip every time. A pool of blood covered the child’s bare feet. The boy under the alias of Blackout maneuvered his head backwards and forwards, to avoid any damage to his face. When the hair whipped back, the deep blue orbs of the child were revealed to any watcher. While the torture took place, the only conversation in the entire room was between the suited men and one of the lab coats, surrounded by the clickity clacks of typing.

“How long are we going to keep this up?” the scientist on the computer asked, adjusting the strength of the whip.

“Chief wants the boy to undergo “Prometheus” for the rest of his time served. The boy saved unnecessary lives on his first duty, distracting him from the task at hand. It’s predicted that the child will repeat such again and again after a mental analysis. Only way to possibly break the habit is a long term Prometheus treatment,” the agent looking man spoke.

“The chief in command knows that this will turn Blackout into a militaristic machine, yes?”

“Why ask a question when you know the answer…?”

“Fair enough. Curing the subject now.”

The scientist flipped a switch, causing a large metallic arm with a needle at the end to approach the boy from the other side. Within the container was a green fluid containing the properties of the magic “Curaga”. After injecting it into the boy, the needle along with the arm retreated into the wall. Immediately, the boy’s flesh was restored as it healed itself, leaving only scars as the reminders. Once done, the worker flipped the same switch again, allowing the whipping to commence once again.

[/i] was the first time she changed in attire.

Wanting to back out of this world, she looked over her shoulder where the door led her here. In its place was nothing more than a silver cabinet, and not the white door she hoped to see. ”Damn it.” She cursed under her breath upon realising she was stuck here for the time being. Feeling completely alienated, she scanned the room once again, searching for something to give her an idea where to go or what to do. A bunch of people gathering; also dressed in lab coats, caught the dark girl’s attention. They seemed to be heading in the direction which would take them to the next area. Her eyes searched for another way. She could whip out her darkness and go through this ‘world’ causing all sorts of trouble. Seeing as though this place was far advance, she could probably be killed by something made of tins and wires if she stepped out of line. For now, she’ll play along.

Adjusting the bottom of the irritating lab coat, Creed walked through the computer room and towards the gathering of geeky looking scientists. Casually she approached the others, watching them watching her. Their eyes addressing Creed as though they knew she wasn’t from here. Was it the purple eyes that gave it away? Her eyes turned down to look at the floor. No, she was just being paranoid. She looked just like them, how could they tell her apart?

As they walked through, Creed followed suit. A transparent gas coated her, and she instantly waved her hand before her face, coughing from the unknown chemical which now clung to her body. The back of her hand wiped away the invisible irritation around her mouth, as though it would do her any good to rid herself of whatever it was.

The scientists made their way to their desired areas; clicking away on computers and busying themselves with paperwork and talking gobbledygook to one another. Her body was pushed forward from someone barging pass; another scientist. Her eyes met his with a glare. "Prick!” she growled. His response was only a glare thrown back at her. Oh how she wanted to rip his eyes out and stick them somewhere dark. Sucking in a deep breath, she needed to remain calm and try to work out where she was.

Moving forward, she paid close attention to more technology – guns to be exact. There were loads of them dotted around the room. Everyone one of them shifted from person to person when they stepped in certain areas of the room. Was someone controlling them or did they operate without labour? If it were the latter, that frightened her to think they could go haywire if anything were to go wrong with the electricity.

She waited in the centre of the room, watching anything and everything, trying to make sense as to where she was and why. One of these people had knocked out Blackout, but there were too many for her to take on all at once. Not to mention the guns and strange objects which could probably floor her if she stepped out of line? She would rather not risk it until she knew what she was dealing with. Growing bored and frustrated with remaining still, Creed walked towards one of the guns only to freeze with her hands in the air as one pointed towards her, a red laser aiming at the centre of her head. ”Woah there. Relax, just passing. She spoke backing away from the machine, watching it focus on something other than her forehead.

A loud, yet muffled scream diverted her confused purple orbs to the back of the room. Someone somewhere was going through some torture, and they sounded young. A stabbing pain shot through her entire body upon the ringing of the child’s scream. Twisting her body, Creed took towards the source of the sound, but made a hasty walk rather than a sprint so attention didn’t grasp her. As she passed through a scanning machine she was cloaked with another gas. This one had a little hue of blue and visible to the naked eye, unlike the previous gas which sprayed her. Coughing once again, she waved through the blue mist and tried to ignore the slight tingle in her body. Whatever it was, it had some affect on her.

With her mind set on the screaming, Creed dismissed the gas and thoughts as to what it had done as she approached another door - this one requiring a pass of some sort to go through. Remembering her ID badge, Creed removed it from its clipped position and held it towards a circular glass upon a box next to the door. Having none of it, she tried hitting it off the box to see if that had worked. A frustrated growl erupted from within her throat as she failed to open the door. Curling her fists, she was seconds from punching the scanner contained upon the box until the door flung open. A man walked through, completely oblivious to Creed as his eyes were set on a tablet device in his hands. Without hesitation, she slipped through and into another room.

Men dressed in dark suits and men dressed in more lab coats were in the room she now stood. They attentions were set before them, watching a machine and listening to the cries of a young child. Creed noticed the glass window they all stared into. She, too, decided to step forward and see what was so intriguing to all these men.

A young boy, no older than eighteen, stood chained up. His upper half of his body was naked and covered in blood and scars. Under his feet was a pool of blood. It was unquestionable that it was his own blood he stood in. The sight was horrifying, even for someone as cruel as Creed was. Machines clawed at his body with whips, tearing off skin and forming new scars. His cries deafened the girl. With each hit she winced in pain, imagining the torture of the young adult within. The other men spoke of the tortured boy, speaking about misbehaving in missions or something. Creed was only half listening. That was until his name was spoken of.

”Blackout?” Her eyes widened in shock and horror as she watched a needle restore his wounds, transforming them into new scars. His dark hair and piercing blue eyes…it was the Blackout she knew, but only younger. Years younger! Her black claws dug into the back of a chair as she leaned over the scientist seated within it, watching the poor boy repeat the pain process once again. Unknowingly behind her she was grappled. A pair of arms tucked under her arms and around her head, causing her head to lower and have no option to look at her strange attire. Anger poured into her being, thus she released her darkness to pierce the guy grappling her. Only, they failed to extract. ”Shit!” Now she was in trouble. That stinging sensation she felt had removed her of her power. Now she had nothing but her claws. And even they were useless trapped in the air above her head.

”What are you doing in here?” A pair of polished black shoes stepped into her view. She couldn’t see who it was, but he was asking the question. Creed refused to answer. Her thoughts were focused on how to get out of this mess and why Blackout was so young and being beaten black and blue. ”I said, what are you doing in here?!” A yank of her hair pulled her head back, forcing her to look up at one of the suited men. She gritted her teeth at the pulling of her hair and the strain of her neck. Trying her best to smirk away the pain, Creed spat at the face before her, causing the man to stumble back, clearly startled by her disgusting answer. He didn’t say a word, but quietly wiped away her saliva in a silenced anger. A nod was given towards another man, one in a suit, who made his way to take the other man’s place.

Then it hit her. He hit her. Right in the stomach, to be exact.

Creed cried in pain and her body fell to the floor as she clutched her stomach. The wind was well and truly knocked out of her as she gasped for air from the punch. Never before has she felt so useless without her powers. Creed was doomed without them. She could punch, kick and bite her way out but it was no match for a dozen blokes with guns. Knowing she wouldn’t get out of this unharmed, she remained on her knees and looked up towards the brute with the good right hand. ”W-why are you hurting him?” She asked, tears forming in her purple orbs from the pain burning where he left his mark. Kicking the girl in the gut as a cherry to the top of the fist sundae. (Did I just say that?) The man in the suit rubbed his clenched up fist softly as if the blow to the woman had hurt himself as well. Or maybe he was prepping it for another blow. The scientist at the desk stood up, however, and put himself in between the brute and the woman. Initial reaction of the big guy was to hurt the scientist, but he hesitated, therefore the lab rat spoke, “No need for the inhumane punishment. Just make her the boy’s replacement; less blood on your hands, no?”

“What about the-“

“No cures; till death.”

“Fine.”

And with that, the woman was escorted by two bulky people, one woman and the other man, into the torturous room. Brought through by a self-opening door, one that shot retracted upwards to open, the sight would be of a boy being stripped away from the metallic chains of the pain machine, freeing up the occupancy. The dark savior would be strapped up instead.

”No! I’ll take it, I will!” the energy lacking boy struggled at the sight of Creed as she’d be escorted into the room. The child understood the pain that she’d undergo. Last thing he wanted was for her to undergo the same. The response to it was anything but honorable; it was laughter. From the guards that accompanied Creed, the scientist that released Shiro; even a feint sound of others laughing from the other side of the glass was heard. However, the guard nodded his head, pushing Creed against the electronic wall.

“Very well, strap him up. Your sacrifice has earned her a quicker execution, boy; good job,” the woman guard spoke up, taking out a pistol and aimed it at the defenseless Creed. Just as the trigger was about to be pulled, a gunshot was heard. Wait… Not one, not two, a dozen. Instantly, the reinforced glass shattered into pieces as the trigger was pulled. The bullet would have hit Creed at the speed of light; however, a man in a leather jacket with a yellow helm flipped himself over the guard and into the picture, taking the bullet before the dark savior; a straight shot into the heart. With that, the scene faded; the masked man, the guards, the torture device, everything. It was gone and replaced by semi similar view. High tech surrounded the environment, but things were brighter; the walls were colored white with Red Cross symbols everywhere. Positive posters about health covered the massive walls, and human doctors and nurses rushed towards their designated objective. It was very chaotic, but in a good way; showing that some people of Murial cared.

In front of Creed would be citizens, however, not giving her a breather in the form of alone time before her next confrontation. She stood, dressed in medical professional garb, standing next to a man in the same attire. It was clear she was given the appearance of the staff. They were standing before a bench with a mediocre cushion. Whom sat on it was a young child with the same black hair with dark blue eyes, however a bit shorter. Sitting next to the kid was a larger man, wrapped his arm around the shoulder. The four year old and the older man carried the same characteristics, deep blue eyes with black hair; however the man had much shorter hair, while the child grew his out.

“I’m sorry, but we couldn’t do anything to help her. She passed at 5:36,” the dressed up man beside her spoke to the two.

”No, no. You got the wrong people. My mommy had my baby sister. She fine,” replied the child, shaking his head. “Right, daddy?” Turning his head, the little boy looked up at his father who was already tearing up in the eyes. The man shut his eyes, got up, and excused himself from the group; rushing off to find a bathroom for something to wipe his nose with, knowing that his son didn’t get it. Since the father had left, the doctor parted ways as well; not wasting his time with the child. Before Creed could make any movements, the little boy whipped his hair back and jumped off the bench; grabbed and tugged at the end of the woman’s white coat. ”Hey, miss; why is daddy crying?”

[/font][/b] Creed started to thrash about, desperate to rid these hands which reframed her from doing any harm to anyone. Her body was pulled forward harshly, causing her to stumble but quickly recovered with the aid of the grunts. She was forced in the middle of the room, where the boy once stood. The young dark haired boy spoke up, wishing to continue his pain on behalf of Creed. Through a brave smile, Creed shook her head at the teen. ”Don’t play the hero, kid.” Was all she said before she was flung out of the chains and against the wall with a solid thud.

The grunts were laughing at his attempt at playing the big guy; which also sped the up the death of the dark saviour. ”Shit.” Creed thought as a gun pointed towards her. Her purple eyes locked onto the barrel, waiting for that sound. She’d hear it first before she would feel anything, right? The girl had never been shot before, thus she had no idea which would come first – the bang or the pain?

It turned out to be the bang...but no pain.

Unknowingly, Creed winced at the sound of gunfire, followed with the sound of glass shattering. It had all happened so quick that she couldn’t quite grasp what was happening. As she opened her eyes, a blur of black and yellow flew before her. His body standing right in front of her and watched as his body lurched back from the impact of something hitting him. Could it have been the bullet meant for her? More importantly, was that Blackout – the Blackout she knew? She wasn’t entirely sure. Everything happened so quickly and the moment his body stepped before her, everything changed.

The room changed, and the people vanished. Teen Blackout had gone; the brutes, scientists, the man standing in front of her and even her clothing - all gone. Well, her attired was still not as she would have had preferred it. Now she wore a similar outfit from before; a white coat, but shorter than the one in the last scene, and with a logo of a red cross above her heart. A small watch was attached to the pocket, something which seemed pointless as she never did bother with time.

A man stood next to her, dressed much the same as she was currently fashioning. Her eyes watched him as he spoke to a man and a child sitting upon a bench. She had missed what the conversation was all about, but it didn’t take a genius to figure out what had happened. The older man with his arm over the young child remained silent as the boy questioned the words the doctor spoke. Creed watched as the man’s eyes filled with tears before running off, leaving the child alone on the bench. Soon after that, the doctor left, too, leaving her alone with the innocent child. Creed’s eyed widened, knowing she shouldn’t be here. She shouldn’t be the one to keep this child safe or to talk to. Her eyes turned to look for someone...anyone, until she felt a pull on her coat.

His voice was sweet; full of nothing but pure innocence and light. He had no idea what was going on, and now he wanted Creed to explain to him why his father was upset. Exhaling a long and pondering sigh, Creed finally glanced down at the child to acknowledge him. His eyes were wide and wore that same blue glow she had seen in the previous scene. The black hair...it could be no one else other than Blackout, right? She paused, piecing together the events which were taking place. Was she in Blackout’s mind? Why was she being shown these images of him representing different ages? Had he drugged her without her even knowing? All these questions, but yet, no one was around to answer them other than a child.

Realising no one was coming back for the kid Creed placed herself on the cold tiled floor. Her legs folded underneath her as she sat eye level with the young Blackout lookalike. Her purple eyes looked up to his innocent blue ones, debating how to answer his question. There was a long moment of silence as she hoped his father would return to gather his son and leave the place she stood. Knowing that he wasn’t coming back just yet, she smiled a warm yet sadden smile. ”You daddy is a brave man.” She started, unsure where she was going with this. ”But you need to be braver than him. You need to make sure he keeps smiling and not let those tears reach the floor.” Creed tucked stray black strands behind his ears, smiling lightly down at the young child before continuing. ”Your mummy has moved away. She’s gone to live in the clouds for a while. But it’s okay...” Creed reached for the child’s hands, cupping them both within her own. ”You’ll see her again. Right now she’s protecting you from within the clouds. She’s watching you right this second and always will. So chin up, don’t cry and be brave. You need to show your dad you’re a brave boy...like a superhero!”

Ugh, she was no good with comforting people. Creed loved kids, but she had never have to deal with trying to explain death to a child. Her eyes looked over her shoulder once again for any sign of his father or the doctor. Seeing none, she turned back to the young child, smiling her warm smile again. ”Can you do that? Can you be your dad’s superhero?” Creed gasped so suddenly. Her smiled widened remembering the child’s words before. ”And your baby sister! You need to protect her, too! Just keep them safe until you go and see your mummy again...can you do it?”[/ul]

As the woman explained the situation to the little child, he at first smiled in awe of his father. Oh, yes; his father was the greatest man the kid would ever know. However, as she continued to explain the situation to the boy, tears formed in both corner of his eyes. The thought of his mother being away in the clouds was something than an angel did, and thanks to the bed time stories his mom used to read to him, he knew that meant that she was gone permanently. Therefore he started to wail into her comfort, sobbing uncontrollably. With his hands cuffed in her arms, the child felt a sense of protection that his parents gave him. The woman would catch her tears, but it wouldn’t be a perfect streak, thanks to a little tear that dropped from his chin, falling like a rain drop. It splattered onto the ground, leaving the tiniest puddle.

As it hit the ground, a large beeping noise was heard from behind the woman. Followed by several more, at the beat of a heart. It would then go silent. Once Creed would turn her head for a second, the area would change. No longer would a wall or two be in place behind the woman and a child, but a hospital bed, draped with white blankets. At the side would be a doctor holding a whining baby, rocking her gently; as the blonde woman lying in the bed would be no longer breathing. At that moment, when Creed would turn her attention back towards the boy, she’d realize that there were a set of much larger hands cupped within her. Also, she wouldn’t be looking down at the boy anymore. The white haired woman would be looking up at roughened up man in a leather jacket; face being unshielded by a yellow helm, revealing the Blackout that she knew. The soldier’s jaw was slightly dropped, his mouth opening and shivering at the sight of his mother “asleep”. Three tears dropped down from the toughened blue eyes, much to Shiro’s surprise, but they did; one landing upon one of the hands holding his own. Shiro Utuago would then lock eyes with the dark savior just before he would fade before her purple orbs; just as everything else would.

Once again, a new scene would be conjured up within seconds. Creed would find herself in a dark room, only one lamp in the corner lighting the area. The atmosphere was calm, and the lighting had an orange hue to it. Everything was neatly organized aside from the floor, dark brown bookshelves, a clock, lounge chairs, and a computer desk covered the perimeter of the room. Why was the floor not clean? What laid there was two figures, a small puddle of blood beneath the duo. One was inhaling; one wasn’t functioning at all. It would appear to her as Blackout himself was mourning over the bullet pierced white coated man on the ground. Behind the soldier would be a wheelchair, revealing Shiro’s physical state at the time. Tears drenched the shirt of the deceased, as the living man kept speaking under his breath loudly, stumbling on the water that’d get into his mouth; ”Why him...? Why not me…? Please, take me back, destiny…”

Once the woman would hear the word “destiny”, her vision would be clouded by a black shadow, weights dropping onto her eyelids, intending on closing them. They’d find their way off and she’d be able to reopen her eyes from a new perspective. For that moment, Creed was Shiro Utuago.

As the gun fired, Shiro watched his life flash before his eyes; the only love has ever had, the first breakfast his mother ever made him, the adorable giggle his little sister gave him when he poked fun at her, and his father, the best man he ever knew, nursing the child after his mother died.

The white jacket of a man that he knew for twenty ears appeared in front of Shiro’s blue eyes. It came so swiftly, in the matter of a second.

”NO!” the crippled man yelled in shock, fear in his navy blue eyes. A thud on the wooden floor was heard throughout the house, followed by footsteps moving on elsewhere in search of something. The crippled soldier fell out of his wheel chair and onto his knees, his knees making contact with the white leather of the savior’s jacket.

”Father, stay with me… Please…” Shiro Utuago locked eyes, blue to blue. His father, choking on the liquid that traveled through his veins. A large masculine hand was placed on the cheek of the saved.

“It’s okay, *****,” the mouth of the lifeless eyes spoke to his son. “You’re meant for much greater things.”

”Dad!” the son clenched onto the jacket of his father, weeping with tears, every other drop colliding with the father’s pinky. ”Please...”

“I c-could never leave you, my boy,” the dying man spoke. “J-Just like your mother, I will live in here for eternity. We love you and y-your sister very much...” As the latter was said, his palm dropped from his son’s face and pointed at the heart of Shiro. The great Chapleris Utuago looked into his boy’s eyes for the last time before closing them shut, as it was his finale.

The eyes of Creed would receive the same feeling, forced to be shut, and she’d find herself in the same situation before; a weeping Shiro over a dead man, except she was in her own body and free to act at her own will.

[/font][/b] Creed stepped over Roghan’s lifeless body and towards the curtain where Karv was shielded from her. ”Karv. Please come out.” her voice was soft and genuine. There was no game playing when it came to her younger brother. She stopped a few meters from the heavy cloth curtain, listening to the uncontrollable sobs behind it. Creed fell to her knees, her hands placed on either side of her thighs as she waited for a response. She waited a while as none came.

”I won’t hurt you...I promise.”

”You w-will. You hurt m-mum and dad and R-roghan! Why are y-you hurting us?” The boy sobbed between his words, stuttering his speech as he refused to merge from the velvet curtain. As much as she wanted to answer him, she couldn’t. Creed couldn’t tell him she hated their guts, but at the same time loved them. She couldn’t explain to an eight year old all the harsh things her parents said to her and did to her. He wouldn’t understand. He was a boy, a gender which was valued more than she was. Creed was always treated differently.

”I’m sorry.” Was all she could say.

A loud beeping could be heard from behind Creed as her thoughts drifted back to reality, or what seemed to be reality at that. Her eyes shifted from the weeping boy clutching to her, and over her shoulder. The walls changed once again. This time a bed was lurking behind her. Within the bed was a woman, a blond woman she had never seen before. Her body was still and the beeping had indicated that she was no longer on this planet. Was this the child’s mother? It was hard to distinguish the features of the dead woman when all she could see was blond locks and a pale forehead.

Creed found herself standing once again as she turned her attention to the doctor cradling a crying baby. The noise was deafening. It was a sound she hated. It reminded her of her younger brother when he was first born. Another male was born into the family which would push Creed further away from her parents even more than she already was. The sound twisted her stomach, bringing back the envy she once felt for Karv when he was first shown to her.

Her purple eyes turned back towards the child whose hands were still locked in her own. Only, when she turned, he was no longer a child. Blackout stood before her; and it was his hands she now held. Her instant reaction was to pull them away from touching the unmasked Blackout. As she withdrew them, she felt a tear hit the side of her thumb. His eyes were locked onto the woman in the bed, his jaw parted, shivering from the sight. His blue eyes filled with tears; this made it clear to the dark saviour that the eternal sleeping woman was that of his mother. She watched his face, attempting to read his thoughts and emotions. It was clear he was distraught, that much was certain. As her eyes searched his teary ones, he looked back to her...and then vanished.

Her sight altered in appearance again. All this shifting was started to irritate the dark saviour. She was trying to make sense of everything and where she was. Was she even still within the castle? Was that a dream in itself? Frustration grew within as she failed to convince herself as to where she was and what was going on. Creed curled her fists into balls, ready to hit something...anything...when the scene finalised shifting before her. Now she stood in a room, highlighted by an orange lamp in the corner. The room was an office. She could see that from the desk, books and chairs which cluttered between the four walls. However, rather than looking around the room, her eyes fell straight to the floor where two men laid.

”Blackout?” She spoke quietly to the sobbing man. It was no good. He couldn’t hear her over the deafening of his own cries. She turned to the wheelchair, trying to make sense of it. Heck, she had been trying to make sense of this entire trip. Everything involved Blackout; and the scenes before her continued to shift in between his former self in years. This whole thing, she must have been inside his memories? But how could she when he was unaware of them himself? From their first encounter, Blackout had spoken about his memory loss. So why suddenly was it taking place before her? Creed couldn’t understand. And until she got out of this mess and found the real Blackout, she wouldn’t understand.

She felt a pull on her eyelids and when she opened them again, she was seeing a scene take place in someone else’s perspective – his. She watched the event take place, feeling the emotion within the man. The pain in his/her heart was great. A heavy pull weighed the body down as the dying man and Blackout engaged in what would be their last conversation together. All this emotion was too much, but it wasn’t her emotion she was feeling. Creed never knew this man, and couldn’t care less about his death; but for some reason, seeing it through the eyes of Blackout’s, her heart was heavy yet empty at the same time. He had lost his father. Now he had no parents.

What seemed to feel like a blink to the dark saviour, Creed found herself back in her own body. The image before her was the same one she saw from his eyes. Blackout was weeping still. The man – his father – laying lifelessly underneath Blackout. There was an invisible pull trying to drag her over to the mourning man. Something was telling her to comfort him and tell him things would be okay in the end. Creed, being the most uncomforting person that she was, wouldn’t allow it. As much as she could understand the pain he was going through, she was too stubborn to show any signs of weakness; even if it meant giving someone a shoulder to cry on. It just wasn’t her. Creed couldn’t muster up the courage to go over and pat him on the back.

Feeling furious with herself for even contemplating support, Creed dismissed any thoughts about trying to help the crippled version of Blackout. Instead, she would go back into her darker thoughts and stir up his emotions to satisfy her. Her boots clicked against the floor, showing no interest in the pool of blood as she walked through it and pushed herself onto the corner of the desk. She watched the sorrow filled Blackout for a moment longer as she tried to pull on her smirking face. She finally found her signature smile, but the pull of emotions within the room made it challenging to keep it there. ”You’ll get over it.” Those weren’t the words she wanted to use. Creed wanted to make him angry and tell him to get over it rather than he will get over the loss. Her words were only a little comforting, if it were that at all. To her they were, not that she wanted that. She leaned back on the desk, swinging her legs as she smirked down towards the two men. ”You called for destiny. Well, here I am.” Creed motioned her right hand to her body, keeping her body propped up with her remaining hand before it was joined once again with the right. ”I can take you to see your dad in the afterlife. Just say the word, Blackout.” Her dark tendrils began to pour from her back. All four of them slithered over and around the desk she sat upon, waiting for the man to allow her to take his soul from him. [/ul][/div]

Get over it… The words sparked the mourning man’s attention, causing his eyes to instantly navigate and lock on the woman. Dark blue orbs locked eyes with the woman’s purple ones, however the expression was not the one that Creed was familiar with. It was not the Blackout she knew, nor was it the one that she wanted to see. Amongst the deep blue sea that flowed through his eyes was a flame; a massive one that to anyone would be overbearing. The man had just lost his father and he was being offered to have his bucket kicked by a woman whom he didn’t know. Any thoughts but pleasant ones were roaming through the grieving soldier. Crippled, yes, the man was; but useless he would never be. As soon as Creed had finished delivering her idea, the rage within his eyes seemed as if they were shooting right into hers. Teeth gritted, the man’s grip on his father’s jacket tightened. The room started to rumble furiously, and the magic sparked.

Creed’s body would feel sick, and she’d want to vomit as her body would start to stumble back and forth, float up and then descend back towards the floor; her gravity being altered every second. The objects in the room would follow suit, computers crashing into furniture, chairs floating upwards, and other similar situations. As his rage would settle in even more, the ripples in gravity became more apparent and violent. Creed, along with her tendrils, would be whipped around the room like a ragdoll as she’d feel Shiro’s rage cause chaos in gravity. Even the man’s father’s body would fly around hectically, but the man would stay still as it had no effect on him other than the power within. The broken down gravity manipulator would stand, his weapons orbit rushing towards him from everywhere in the house. Just then, as Gravios would stumble rapidly down the stairs, through the hallway, and into his grasp; Creed would see a sword raised to her.

However, she would not be facing the Blackout she knew. The soldier that she knew lacked memories, techniques, and abilities. Creed would realize that once the man’s arsenal came into play. Valor and Pride would float in the air, aimed and locked on at Creed; a dozen knives orbiting the man, reading to strike the woman down at the speed of lightning. A metallic glove would slip itself onto the gravity manipulator’s hand slyly, giving the man more control of his gravitational abilities. Just then, a bullet would be fired. Not at Creed, because the target would be Shiro Utuago who stood. Would it hit? No. The bullet’s gravity would be reversed as it was shot out of the barrel, flipping and soaring into its new target; the man with the yellow helm, Blackout. At the snap of the metallic glove’s fingers, the memory of Shiro’s knives would impale the man in the doorway at the spot, appearing as if he had killed the soldier that Creed knew. Though, the scene faded before Blackout’s fate would be revealed.

Creed would find herself in a familiar setting; the same room coexisting with the torturous chamber. Except that time, nobody would notice her. Her purpose would be for her to watch, as the man, who would be strapped down on the other side, would continue Prometheus as if time were being flipped like the pages of a book. She’d see the scorching fire that would burn through Blackout’s skin only to be renewed again through their healing device. She’d see volts of electricity pulsating through the soldier’s veins. She’d see the multiple stabbing of swords and bullet firings, as the man would be connected to several, continuous flowing, needles filled with the green needles. Before each device was used, an announcer would declare Blackout guilty of getting sidetracked from his objective; either saving a family from a burning building, putting himself in harm’s way for a child, and for calming down the target before eliminating them. The pattern would repeat for a couple of cycles; each time the expression of pain in Blackout’s face would become less apparent until the point where a knife to the back would get a mere cringe out of Shiro.

After viewing such, the area would shift once again, allowing Creed the capability of interacting as she had before. That time, she’d find herself in a grassy meadow with a small pond. The sun would beam down on her as shade seemed to be nonexistent. Flowers would seem as if they were growing slowly beside her, into roses with the color of violet. The pond would be silent, with birds chirping from the distance. In comparison to the other memories she had witnessed, the one she’d find a more peaceful one. However, not all of it was what it seemed. In the middle of the pond, a figure would stand with the same black hair that she would have probably gotten used to by now. The man’s eyes would be closed, with Pride in his hand; simply breathing he was. The soldier’s stomach would rise and deflate, exhaling and inhaling slowly. There was no chance to introduce one another in the more relaxing setting, as the man carefully placed the end of his pistol into his mouth; finger on the trigger.

[/i] look which Blackout usually had. He was a simple person, who lacked any kind of tell tale signs of feelings within his facial features. This Blackout, the one clutching to the corpse, wasn’t the Blackout she knew. To her he was a no body, but just a stranger who looked like Blackout.

Clinging onto her smirk, Creed would show no remorse or guilt over her words. She was helping him, no? To take away his soul so that he could go and see his mother and now his father in the afterlife. Sure, she was rubbing salt into the wound, but that’s what she does; that’s who she is and forever will be. Creed wanted to see the anger, the fear and the fury within her victims. This version of Blackout showed just that, expect the one she desired most – fear.

From out of nowhere, a pain struck her stomach like a bolt. The colour drained from her skin as she started to feel queasy. ”Oh gosh.” She muttered, placing a caring clawed hand against her lower abdomen. The sickening feeling started to grow, but she fought against her illness from allowing it to travel upwards. And then it happened, her feet were no longer touching the floor. Her eyes shot downwards upon realising that she was floating. For a moment she started to question if she had summoned her wings. Knowing full well she hadn’t, Creed’s feet then touched the floor…and then back up again, upsetting her stomach all the while.

Her eyes shot towards Blackout. It was him! He was doing this to her!

With a shift gravitational pull, Creed’s body slammed into the wall. A picture frame crashed crushed against her body before falling to the floor, only to then hover midair along with other furnishings. There was another pull, this time to the other side of the room. Rather than be thrown against the wall again, Creed stretched out her darkness, reaching to each of the four walls and placed sharp claws burrowing into them to steady her body. She remained floating still near the middle of the room, each tendril struggling to fight against the gravity, but remained victorious for the time being.

Creed turned her furious purple orbs towards the grieving man, only to be faced with the tip of a sword. Gritting her teeth, she looked passed the blade and down towards the man who had summoned an army of knives at his aid. ”Coward.” She hissed, referring to his amount of weapons he needed to see her off. If this is what Blackout was truly capable of achieving, then she had some serious completion. The Blackout she knew had only used the blade which now pointed at her, along with the gun…which he also once pointed at her. In fact, he had threatened her more times that she did him, she was sure of it!

Movement in the corner of her eye attracted her attention away from the blade pointing at her face. It was him – the Blackout she knew. She knew this from the yellow mask he wore, which she was still unsure what the point in it was. One day she would find out, but that day was not today. She needed to survive this little disagreement first.

Despite how much she would appreciate the yellow head Blackout, Creed would refuse to beg or ask for his assistance. Never before had she craved help in a battle, and she wouldn’t now! In his hand was a gun; and its aim – the crippled Blackout. Narrowing her eyes, she turned back towards the sword and towards the man holding it. She would get out of this herself…how…she still wasn’t entirely sure. A glove was pulled onto his hand, for what reason, she didn’t quite know. And it would seem she would never know as she heard the gunshot. Like before, there was no pain but she heard it and was expecting it to strike her. The knives which hovered around the stranger Blackout turned and pointed towards the Blackout at the door and flew at him with tremendous speed. She waited for the sight of blood and his body falling limp…but it changed, again.

The room shifted into one which she had seen before; the room where she was attacked. No longer was she drenched in the white lab coat she once wore, but her own black and purple attire. The comfort in her own clothing brought confidence back to the dark saviour. She didn’t have to play the part of a nerd and walk around as though she was a slave to the men in suits. Creed could prowl around the place with her own body, along with her darkness.

The wall of glass stood between her and the man who appeared in all of these strange hallucinations. Compared to the last time she saw this, it was the adult version of Blackout which was being tortured. His body was covered in scars, indicating the pain he had had to have dealt with whilst he was beaten, stabbed, burned and electrocuted within the chamber. She pushed forward, leaning against one of the computers, watching the dark haired man inside as he was repeatedly inflicted with pain before being injected with a green chemical.

”What is this?” She asked, mainly to herself. Like the previous time, she was expecting bulky men to come and attack her…but none came. The people within the room paid no mind to her whatsoever. Could they hear her? Could they even see her? Her confused eyes shifted from the scientist standing to her right and back through the glass as he shown no interest in her presence. ”Why are they doing this to you?” She asked the question to the man on the other side. Receiving no answer, Creed continued to watch.

The more the pain wait on, the less his expression changed. He had grown immune to the burning and the electrocutions, from what it would seem. Only a little wince could be witness before a needle would restore his tiring body. Creed’s black claws tapped along the desk she stood against, slowly growing annoyed and angry from the sight taking place. Her mind was boggled as to why they were hurting him, until one of the men spoke through a microphone and into the other room. Apparently he was committing an offense during his missions…by helping people? Now Creed wasn’t a hero and never would be; but why torture a man from helping people in need?

Accusations were thrown at him, and then the pain would be dealt upon his wounded body. Another crime he committed was read out followed with a stab in his side, followed by the injection of the needle. A pattern was taking place. They were teaching him some kind of monstrous lesson for not giving his missions his entire focus. Would it be the norm for Blackout and his world to be disciplined this way for breaking some kind of code of conduct? It was inhumane, even for the dark saviour!

”That’s enough!!!” Creed roared after hearing he had saved a child only to receive an electrocution as his reward. The sight had taken its toll on her. But the reasoning behind it angered her more so. As she was about to start smashing the computers dealing the damage, the scene changed again.

This time the setting was relaxed. The paled haired saviour stood in amongst the grass, surrounded with flowers of a colour she now adored. Her purple orbs had to adjust to the glaring rays belonging to the sun above. A bright blue sky showed no signs of disruption of rain or clouds. It was a perfect summer’s day with only a light breeze flirting with Creed’s hair and fabric which hugged around her rear. As she scanned the area, searching for the reasoning behind her location, she soon spotted a figure within the small pond ahead of her. She only guessed she knew who it would be. The dark head of hair gave it away almost instantly.

As she approached the pond, Creed noticed a gun in his hand. Rolling her eyes, she would only assume it would be pointed at her at any given moment. Her toes reached the edge of the water and she looked towards the back of Blackout and watched as the gun was pulled towards upwards, turning and pointing towards his face. What was he doing?! Creed’s face shifted from a blank expression to a confused yet concerned look. Why was he going to shoot himself? More importantly, was this the Blackout she knew or not? If so, what had driven him to this stage where he would take his own life?! As concerned as she may appear, lurking within her crazed mind was that it would only be a waste of a soul.

Not wanting the see the end of Blackout in such a drastic way, Creed placed a foot in the pond. Knowing that the sudden sound of her approach could force him to pull the trigger, Creed was sure to make as little noise as she could. It was hard when walking through water, not to mention the ripples which would bounce around him as she approached. Either his mind was so deep in thought or he paid no attention to the sloshing of the waves that he allowed Creed to reach him. Gently, she reached towards the hand which was on the trigger with one of her own and wrapped her black claws around them. It was sure to get his attention now, but she hoped it wouldn’t be enough for him to seal his fate. ”Don’t.” She spoke quietly, shaking her head gently disapproving his thoughts.

”I know you’re hurting, but don’t.” It was true; she did know of his pain. Everything she had been through, watching Blackout’s life unfold before her, would be enough to send a man crazy. But committing suicide was not a way to escape the pain. Besides, she wanted his soul for herself, or so she kept convincing herself of that.

”I’ve died for you twice midst this cinematic roll,” a voice crept from behind the two figures in the pond. The sloshing of the water continued and an extended arm came into view, hand reaching towards the ones against the trigger. Grasping a gentle grip on both of their hands, he maneuvered the gun away and out from the mouth. ”Surely, I’m still here; so this is going accordingly, but do you think my attempts to save you expressed much value for my life? At the end of the question, the place faded for the last time, including the Shiro who once had the gun to his mouth. Three hands became two connected; fingers locked- three was a crowd, no? Just then, the jacketed arm would slyly swing her around like a man would perform on his female partner at a ball; to have Creed face the source of the voice. Two figures stood in a black abyss with a dim light from somewhere up above.

”Or are convinced that I care about you that much to the point where I’d let my body go limp and lifeless just for you to leave breathing?” the man asked, his yellow metallic material retreating into his veins. The question was definitely intriguing; what she thought about his thoughts concerning her. No matter, however; that was a topic to address another day if it were not to be solved then. Deep blue eyes gazing into the purple orbs before him, the real Blackout continued, ”Your gestures were sweet. However, if I was intent on pulling the trigger that day; all would have been in vain. Surely, you couldn’t expect that man to live a nightmare and find peace with the likes of you?” Clearly, the man was referring to her “comforting” words that she chose to speak earlier with the man who had lost his father. Maneuvering his free hand to the side of Creed’s waist and pulled her closer to the man’s body; by choice? No. Thanks to last time, it was his natural reaction when the only one that could scratch the itch (he certainly couldn’t) was before him. ”I may have threw myself in the way for you, but I wasn’t deaf. You didn’t care about him, though. You didn’t care about the young child, only the fact that he was a child. You didn’t care about the teenager who suffered, only the suffering and reasoning. And to think you could have just ended me there before I could pull the trigger; you know you could have as shock would’ve interrupted me. Am I wrong to say to that you cared about the fact that he could’ve been me?” Surely, Creed would get the gist of what he was implying. ”There’s more than my mere soul that you desire. Correct me if I’m wrong.”

Stepping closer, he eliminated the space between his chest and her own. There it was again; the warm feeling that he longed for ever since they departed last. ”I researched what this is; what I’m feeling. I was confused, but now I’m simply surprised. Apparently the “chemistry” between two differs from person to person, and whenever it’s great; you feel this.” Whether she noticed it or not, but the man’s secretive experiment was going on as he spoke; his head leaning in closer and closer until the same magnetic tug on the lips was felt, sending a tingling feeling soaring through the intellect’s mind. ”You told me of your intention on “ripping” my lips off if I touched you with them again...” he spoke softly, ”I have a similar proposition. You touch mine with yours and I won’t guarantee you that you’ll get them back.” Perhaps the analyst had researched romance too much? Maybe? No? Yes? Shiro didn’t have an answer for that. All he knew that his lips longed for Creed’s.

[/font][/b] She spoke bluntly, dismissing the idea that she wanted him to save him throughout the memories. ”I’m actually pretty pissed that you felt the need to do it in the first place. I’m not your average, everyday damsel in distress!” She poked an accusing black claw into his chest with her free hand. It was true! Creed didn’t need a knight in shining armour to come save her. She had been in many death threatening situations, but she has managed so far to get out of every single one of them, unlike the ones who threatened her. Creed would have found a way out of the corner she was pushed against in his memories. She always did find a way out. But the ‘hero’ of hers continued to risk his own life to see her live another day…why? Why did he insist on saving her? She has done nothing but tease, threatened and try to anger Blackout. What man would risk his own life for a girl such as her and her ways? Creed couldn’t understand.

Creed huffed at the word ‘sweet’. She wasn’t being sweet. The dark saviour was never sweet. Creed only insisted on pulling away the gun was so that she could take his soul for herself. Granted, she could have taken it there and then without the suicidal Blackout knowing she was around. If she wanted to, Creed could have stolen his soul before he had a chance to pull the trigger. But yet, she opted for trying to save him from himself. It took Creed a moment to convince herself of an answer, but she had one. It would have simply been no fun to take his soul without inflicting her despicable ways of teasing him with pain beforehand. There was never any excitement in taking away a soul without a fight. Creed craved a challenge or confrontation before she would slowly peel away the layers of emotion and before she would end their miserable lives. That was her answer.

Creed felt sudden warmth against her bare side, and before she knew it the warmth was felt over her front. Blackout had pulled her in. Their bodies touching like the last time they met. Her eyes narrowed up at him, not too fond of being put back into this position. Creed was always one for flirting and teasing, but when the tables were turned she felt as though she was no longer in the driving seat. Creed was the flirt…not Blackout! For now she would remaining in his grasp, looking up and listening to his thoughts of her actions and words used in the scenes. ”I cared about the fact that a fool was about to take his own life.” Creed smirked before continuing. ”Stop putting these thoughts into your head. You’re trying to make sense of things which shouldn’t exist. We don’t exist. We never have and never will. You’re thinking too much.” She wouldn’t allow him to think that there was anything more than her soul she wanted. It was what she wanted. She could take it now just to prove a point. Her darkness was itching to do so, she could feel it.

Before she had chanced to consider stealing his soul to end these accusations, he closed in on her. Worried eyes looked up towards the dark haired man as he spoke about chemistry and feelings. No! Was he stupid?! She was impressed he went out of his way to search for his emotions he couldn’t make sense of in their last encounter. But she wasn’t too impressed he was willing to play with these said emotions again. The pull was there again, but Creed wouldn’t react to it. Remaining still, she would stare into those blue orbs of his and smile softly as he spoke about never returning her lips if she were to allow them to meet once more. For any normal girl who longed for romance would probably kill to be in her shoes right now. Blackout was a handsome man, and she had no doubts he could get any girl he wanted with those gazing blue eyes of his. But yet, she was willing to swap places with someone who wanted to be in her predicament. However, no one was stepping forward to take her place. Creed had no choice but to take back control of these emotions and turn it back into one of her games.

Locking onto his eyes, Creed pulled her lips forward. Her nose brushed against his, leaving a gap as thin as the size of a pinky between their lips. She could feel his warm breath, and no doubt he could feel hers. A playful smirk tugged on the corner of her lips as she paused before the kiss was to take place. ”Then I guess I better not touch them.” With that said, Creed stepped away from Blackout. A flirtatious smile played with his emotions as she took away the chance of the two to bond passionately. The dark saviour continued to back away. Her hips swerving seductively as the gap widened between them. Smirking eyes remained on his as she teased the man, allowing him to watch her body move from his, but at the same time wanting him to keep his interest despite her putting him down.

Backing away, Creed found herself pressing against a ledge in the pitch black room. Despite the light from above, it refused to light up what was behind her. Keeping her fixation on the man, Creed slowly lifted her body up and onto the ledge. Her feet dangled from the ground as she appeared to ‘float’ in a sitting position the blackness. Her claws wrapped around the edge of the ledge and her ankles folded over one another before she swung them back and forth lightly, her heel hitting against the wall below her.

Feeling as though she had gotten the situation back under control, Creed cocked her head to the side. A flirtatious finger played with a strand of her pale hair as she watched Blackout from afar, keeping a firm smirk upon her pixie like features. If he were to come to her, he would be stopped with an extended leg and the sole of her boot pressed against his stomach. Not kicking him as such, but halting him from getting too close.

”I never needed you to. Be upset all you want; it’ll change nothing when it comes to my actions. If I choose to use my last breath to keep you breathing; so be it,” Blackout replied in response. Why had the man chosen to save her? Well, it was true when the man didn’t value his life all too much after witnessing what he had. There was nothing for him; nothing to fight for. Sure, the heartless were still his duty to protect, but at the same time, it wasn’t the same as having a woman or a family back at home to return to. It was that or maybe subconsciously Shiro was starting to recognize Creed as somebody he wished not to part with? With the “chemistry” between them, it was told that they should have recognized each other as “meant to be”, but out of all things; the concept of destiny was not a belief that coexisted with the intellect’s knowledge.

Perhaps it was one sided? After Creed’s words, there was questioning within himself. However, his point was stronger than her argument. If that was what she truly thought of the soldier, then she would have taken down the “fool” a long time ago when she had the chance. After thinking about such, the comments of hers went into one ear and out the other. There was a very large possibility that she was giving him an act, in denial, and a pathological liar. Creed’s logic was… absurd, to say the least, when it came to matching it up with the facts. Sure, he recognized the woman as one to play with her victims, but something separated him from the others. Was it the fact that unlike the others, he could end her life? If anything, that was more of the reason to kill him. Although, Creed had a couple chances of killing Blackout and yet, she had not taken them. It was clear that she was not the strategic mastermind, but more of a lustful jester, so the man doubted the idea, of her using him for a bigger purpose, highly.

Once their lips were as close as they could get without being considered a kiss, the man’s heart started beating twice as fast. That was it, the same feeling he had received last, but his urges to smash his lips against hers, hoping for her to bite down on his bottom lips with her lil’ fangs, faded reluctantly as the woman pulled away before it could happen. That left the mental state of Shiro flustered for a moment, thinking Creed had a lot more willpower when it came to chemical attraction than he had. However, it lasted for a moment as Creed seemed like she was playing a game with him, swaying her hips like that with the means of seducing Blackout into submission; to crawl for her affection. The analyst had researched it too in depth to be caught up in such trickery. Therefore, the man turned and started to walk the opposite way. ”You’re walking the wrong way.”

At that statement, a white door, similar to the first one opened, appeared before Shiro as the playful dark savior walked farther and farther away until she found a ledge. The man placed a firm grip on the handle and pulled, but… It was locked. Confusion ran through the analyst’s head, but then it all just clicked. Blackout knew why he couldn’t leave. The door was for Creed, not him. They hadn’t wiped his memories, but they separated them. Turning around to face the tempestuous woman, the soldier saw her from afar, expecting him to come. Clearly, that was not going to happen, but it was predictable that she’d want to leave, so he rested his back against the marble door. If she were to approach him, the man would shake his head and speak the words, ”Your leave only, I’ll be staying.” How the dark savior would take that was beyond Blackout.

[/font][/b] That was a lie. As the words spat out, Creed could taste the bile. She was a good liar and a pretty convincing one at that; but when she spoke about not caring about his death, Creed felt her throat tighten at the thought. The dark saviour done well to hide this doubt, but the thought lingered there afterwards. Did she care if he lived or died? Was she trying to fool herself as well as the man before her? Creed narrowed her eyes, ignoring the doubt and accepting the truth which she spoke. She didn’t care! She wouldn’t care! Creed. Doesn’t. Care!

Just kill him now. Be done with it already! The dark saviour screamed to herself. She could kill him…right here, right now. But yet, she didn’t. She wouldn’t. The question she kept pushing aside was ‘why?’ Why hadn’t she killed him yet? Why won’t she kill him now? These questions she refused to answer would occasionally come back to haunt her; speaking louder and louder upon each return, almost to the point where she couldn’t block them out for much longer. As she stood there, narrowing her sights towards the dark haired man, she tried to find some logic to her silent questions.

Creed was a cold hearted assassin with no love or thoughts to those she saw as victims. She toys with people’s thoughts, emotions and lives in general. Blackout was one of them. However, he was different to her other victims. He knew some insight to her background. He processed thoughts in great deal and had sussed her out with only samples of her past. Was that why she wouldn’t kill him; because she could turn to him and speak about her past? No! Such a ludicrous thought! She’d never speak about her history to anyone! As her thoughts searched deeper, there was something about the fact that he was a challenge which she found rather exciting. If he wasn’t to, he could shot her on the spot and end her devilish ways. She would fight, of course. But knowing that he was a threat made her life that little bit more thrilling. That could be why she wouldn’t kill him. It made sense to her. But there was something else. Blackout showed no fear no matter how close and person she got, he would always remain calm. Could that be another reason she didn’t want to end his miserable life, because he wouldn’t allow her to get to him emotionally? That could be a possibility. But there was something else…something she couldn’t quite put her finger on…

Ignoring any other thoughts, Creed returned to her playful self.

Blackout insisted that the girl was walking the wrong way as she tried to seduce him into following her. Hiding her true feelings of frustration well, she was pretty peeved that her lost puppy wouldn’t follow her. Masking the annoyance, Creed remained seated on the blackout nothingness with a smile. She shook her head the once, indicating she wasn’t going through the door which appeared so suddenly. Who the hell did he think he was telling her to leave?! Not that he used such words, Creed couldn’t help but think that Blackout was ushering her away. Smiling still, Creed would never follow orders but would rather continue to play her little games.

”But, Blackout...” She gently nipped the bottom of her lip with a small fang. Purple orbs played with his blue ones, pleading for her to stay here a little while longer – not that she needed his permission anyway. ”Don’t you want to play?” The dark saviour lifted her bare leg over her covered one before leaning back using her arms to support her from behind. There were so many games she’d like to play with him. Some which involved hurting him, some which involved flirting and some which involved testing his patience with her, which she loved doing. But there was one type of game she was set on playing, and it was fucking with his emotions.

Smiling softly, Creed glanced down at her hand, eyeing the sharpness of her black claws as she spoke towards Blackout, showing no clear interest in what she was saying. ”Your sister. Where is she?” Her voice had no emotion. It was a straight forward question just out of interest…until she continued. ”I’d love to meet her.” Smirking, Creed flexed her clawed hand open. Her eyes darkened as she turned her attention towards the dark haired man, hinting at the purpose as to why she wished to meet her. His mother was dead, as was his father. The only potential family he had was his younger sister – someone whom Creed could take away from him or use as bait to trigger the fear she needed to see in him. Blackout was good at mastering his fear from her, which made it all the more of a challenge for her to seek it out. [/ul]

”You know I’m not a fan of games by now; correct?” the question sputtered out of the man’s mouth at the thought of the thinking of hers that he’d want to “play” with her. Wasn’t playing the term describing the actions of children seeking the feeling of fun? How delirious the woman was to even suggest that the man’s mind would have the same desire. Oh well; it was not the intellect’s logic that needed questioning. Perhaps she was teasing the man and he had been overthinking her question. Knowing that Shiro, himself, was one to process too many thoughts about a certain thing; that was definitely a possibility.

Sister? The eyebrow of the man slightly rose at the response, back of the skull leaning against the hard marble material. Oh silly Creed; the mind game that woman was playing with him; the analyst could see right through it. The woman’s intent, judging on her way of relating her interest in being introduced to his family member. What was the woman’s prediction on how the soldier was going to react? Sure, he had seen a few significantly dramatic moments of his past life; problem was that he wasn’t connected to those figures. It was a sad sight, yes, but the connection with those figures that he had in his past didn’t exist anymore. The memories were separate; so in a sense, so was his past self and him then. Personalities alike, the connections they had were completely different.

The mentioning of his sister was… pathetic, to say the least. It was clear on what Creed was attempting to accomplish, but she would not succeed. Shiro only raised an eyebrow at such and shook his head slowly, showing his disapproval at her comment. ”Come on, Creed. You’re trying to get under my skin and you go for the mere concept that I have a sister? Surely, you must be desperate for ideas.” The more that the two conversed, it was becoming quite obvious that she was lying to him and maybe even herself. At the comment of her not caring if he lived or die, there was a piece of logic that contradicted that statement completely; he was still there, unharmed, and she was there with him. That lead the intellect to believe that the confusion about the other was mutual, but that was just his hypothesis. Only time would tell if his experiment would prove otherwise. ”So your intent for staying is what again...?” Having had shot her down twice, metaphorically of course, the analyst was curious on why Creed remained inside his “head”.
