Terra arrived at the mansion entrance in Twilight Town and decided that he would investigate the area and see if he could find any leads. Then again, he wasn't really inconspicuous at the moment. It also didn't help that he was wearing the only clothes that he had at this point. Terra walked through the forest and slowly made his way to the train station, and upon arriving there he saw how big Twilight Town really was. Terra also asked people around if they had seen his friends and gave them descriptions of them, but no one really seemed to know anything out of the normal as far as what happened regularly in the town. Since he wasn't getting any leads, he decided it would be best if he left and investigated in another world. However, an instinct told him to stick around a while and he got a Sea Salt ice cream and sat on the ledge of the clock tower. It was then that Terra wondered if he wasn't the only person to eat Sea Salt ice cream, and supposed that it must be a popular spot. If nothing happened that would catch his interest after he finished his ice cream, he would promptly take his leave.

Xigbar had spent his time here following around the young Terra. He kept to the shadows, using his cloak's natural camouflage to keep himself from being sensed. The Freeshooter had already tested the water with the other Terra...Xehanort... It was time to try and test the waters with this one. After eavesdropping on the large, spiky-headed man as he wandered around town, asking strangers about this or that in the hopes of finding some answers, Xigbar figured he had enough of a grasp to approach him.
Ever careful of the eyes and ears of others, Xigbar decided to wait until Terra was isolated to engage him. He found that chance when Terra ascended the clock tower to enjoy an ice cream... What was with people and eating ice cream up here? Xigbar was flabbergasted by it! Was this ice cream only capable of being eaten in this location? Was there some unspoken rule that said all naive, blue eyed do-gooders had to eat their ice cream here of all places? It was far more of a mystery than the alignment of this particular man.
Xigbar warped in with a 'whish' sound, standing at the edge of the clock tower, about 8 feet away from Terra. His hood was up, leaving only a single golden eye visible underneath. "What is it with this spot, Pebbles? Everyone and their goldfish just love coming up here to eat ice cream." Xigbar spoke sarcastically, his twisted words referencing things Terra would have no recollection of, even if that knowledge might very well have been useful to him. Xigbar took a few steps forward, walking directly over the edge, but didn't fall. Instead, he simply kept walking forward on the air, as if solid ground were still beneath his black boots.
He turned to face Terra again, pulling down his hood to reveal his scarred face and silver-streaked hair, not to mention his pointed ears. "I'm sure you remember me, right? 'Dude who helped ruin your life' and all?" Xigbar taunted Terra with his tone, though he had no real intention of fighting here and now. "I was watching you today. Great detective work, Sherlock Holmes. You asked complete strangers pretty much everything there was to ask, except the important questions. Though I suppose even if you did, they wouldn't have any answers anyway, huh?" Xigbar absently mused to Terra. It was more of a ploy than anything, as the Freeshooter hoped to bait Terra into asking him the questions burning in his mind.

Terra took notice of the hooded man when he appeared with a sound of quickly moving air. The sarcasm from the man brought back his memories of Braig, and he stood up on his feet as he took note that many people have come to this spot. However, he was surprised when the man walked on air and understood that this was no ordinary human. "Braig, you should have kept your hair short; the long ponytail doesn't suit you." Terra said after Xigbar taunted him. "So, what is it that you want anyway? You wouldn't be following me to simply aggravate me." Terra said calmly and awaited for his adversary's answer. He was actually interested in what Braig had to say, even if they were enemies, but he would fight him if he needed to and it wouldn't be the first time. However, Braig had become a lot stronger after some time and doubted that he would be a pushover like before.

Xigbar offered a cunning grin in response, regarding Terra's jab at his hair in a humorous manner, as his golden eye darted up and down the other man's attire. "Oooh, fashion tips from MC Hammer. I'll keep that in mind next time I hit up the barbershop." However, Terra's following point caused a look of mock shock to form upon his weathered face. The look quickly faded as he took a metaphorical jab at Terra, stepping forward across the air, his boots clicking as if striking a solid surface. He grinned once again, now standing a comfortable distance from Terra, but close enough to extend a lanky arm to tap on Terra's shoulder plate.
"Wow Pebbles, you really do know me, huh!" He sarcastically spit his words toward the brown-haired man. After tapping on his shoulder enough, Xigbar spun on the air and stepped away, walking in a few circles. He pretended to be thinking, all the while, even putting on a thoughtful expression and tapping his sharp chin with an extended index finger. "I just happened to cross your path," Xigbar stopped walking, but didn't turn to face Terra completely. His body remained facing to the right, as he just turned his face to look at Terra. Obviously, his left side was the one looking in Terra's direction... "But I have been hearing some interesting things with these," Xigbar paused, bring his left hand up to tap on the pointed tip of his left ear, "neat ears of mine. There was a few things about a few Keybearers here and there..."
He spun on a heel to face Terra, his lengthy black cloak whipping to the side forcefully with the swiftness of his motion, before settling back down again. "I don't suppose you know anything about any Keybearers wandering around, would you?" Xigbar laid his bait out, and of course, gave the metaphorical (and somewhat physical) bear a poke. His job was done for now. It was time to wait and see how Terra would respond. Fishing for information wasn't much different than actual fishing. Pick the right spot, wait for the right time, and use the right bait... And you'd be surprised at just what you can reel in. And both forms of fishing required a master of manipulation, one to keep their fish entwined, and the other to ensure their catch is never the wiser---But which was which?

Terra listened intently to what Xigbar had to say and kept a close eye on him. He knew that he wouldn't give up the location of the ones that he was seeking even if he had it. Therefor, Terra would have to strike some kind of deal; but he hoped that it wasn't a deal with the devil. "What do you want in exchange for what you know?" Terra asked Xigbar calmly as he stared daggers at the sharpshooter. Terra had no idea what Xigbar really wanted, but if he had to force the information out of him he would. Either way, Terra hoped that he wouldn't be tempted into certain situations like he was before. Although, Xigbar getting into his personal space a bit earlier was a bit unsettling.

Terra was so boring. So bland. So direct. He wasn't nearly as fun as he used to be. "Your name suits you, Pebbles. You're about as interesting as a rock." Xigbar taunted the keybearer, but ultimately shook his head free of the antagonistic behavior. It was time for business now. He narrowed his single eye to a slit, staring down the muscular keybearer intently.
"What do I want? Man, it's obvious!" Xigbar's eye opened once more, wide and exuberant, and he erupted with a fake smile and hollow laughter. "I want one tiny favor, Pebbles. It won't involve anything nasty, trust me." The concept of trust was something a bit beyond Xigbar at this point, but it probably wasn't too far beyond the notoriously naive Terra. "It'll just involve helping me with something you already want to accomplish. I'll give you the information you want, and then, you help me out with a little problem. That's fair!" Truthfully, Xigbar wasn't close enough to his goal yet to reveal what it was, but in the end, he only needed a good poker face. With that, anything was possible.
The Freeshooter, crossed his arms, but kept his jubilant expression. "'As if,' right?" He asked, immediately calling into question whether or not Terra would accept his offer. He figured he needed more to go on. "You want collateral. Fine." Xigbar snapped his fingers from below his crossed arms. "The puppy that followed you around," Xigbar began, speaking obviously of Ventus, "He's AWOL at the moment. No one knows where he is or what he's up to right now, but I've been hearing a few rumors about him around. I might have something more concrete soon. As for Miss Bodice," Xigbar shifted onward to Aqua, or Aotori as she was calling herself now, "I know exactly where she is, but if you want that information, you have to agree to my shady terms." Xigbar extended his hand toward Terra, offering him a shake in order to seal the deal. This would be the moment of truth. Success or failure.
