It hadn't taken Laguna long to navigate the controls of the Gummi Ship, in fact it sort of reminded him of the Ragnorak but simpler. He would need to tell everyone back in Esthar the simplicity of the vehicle, why did they have to make things more complicated? Perhaps it was a different source of power, Laguna pondered this for a moment but knew he'd never really understand the mechanics, he had his abilities and he had others to work out the rest. Still he wasn't used to relying on others like that, although in truth he did miss his two best friends, Ward and Kiros, sure he did okay on his own (just about) but without the two to keep him on track he seemed to get into huge amounts of trouble. While this was all on his mind, he came across a strange looking world, this must have been what Squall was saying, that there were so many other worlds out there. He slowed down the Gummi Ship until it was almost hovering above, he couldn't help himself…imagine if there were something important down there?
Slowly he lowered the Gummi Ship down, he was a natural at this piloting malarkey. The Ship landed upon the grass, what he had seen from above wasn't quite what he could see now, it was as if it was a mirage and he'd landed in a green that was perhaps someone's garden. Being as curious as he was, Laguna opened the door to the ship and jumped out, "What is going on?" He questioned to no one in particular. "I swear I saw somethin' else…" it wasn't this place, he really would swear on it. Carefully he wandered towards the woods, there was a lone tree just before it that stood tall upon a hill and as he raced up the hill to get a better view of the place he realised it wasn't the world he'd seen.
But then it wasn't his either, it looked like Winhill's mansion if it were surrounded by acres of land and woods, "Oh…man…" Laguna breathed heavily as his curiosity vanished, "I gotta…just get home." Was he wasting time on purpose? He didn't have to stop here and he could have just flew straight to his own world. Was that even what he wanted? To go back to being a President was tough but to see his friends, that was what he had to keep thinking about, that's what he had to concentrate on to get there. As he slumped against the tree his footing slipped into a hole, however the hole wasn't as shallow as it appeared and it slid down the muddy bank until his other foot jerked into reaction and tried to catch his fall.
However instead of catching his footing the man kept on falling and sliding down the small hole that was opening the deeper it became. His hands caught themselves on the bark as he tried to grapple onto safety but it was too late and eventually he was falling down the seemingly deep and dark hole. His shouts echoed until he was handed an open umbrella by a small trumpet like creature standing on a chest of drawers. As he grabbed the handle it slowed down his pace and he bobbed up and down with the pressure. "Uh…thank youuu…" his voice echoed again as the creature disappeared into the darkness. This must be the way to that other world, it was within the seemingly normal charade up there…up…with his…ship.
"Well…that's going to be a problem." Laguna muttered, scratching the back of his head with his free hand. He'd figure it out eventually, he always did, although this may take a bit more effort than previously thought. Slowly he drifted down to the ground in which seemed like a corridor and gently placed his feet to the floor in relief. Closing the umbrella, Laguna stood it up against the wall and cautiously but excitedly hurried through until he found the next room. The ex-soldier was acting before he could think, although as it seemed as though he wouldn't be going back up the way he came, his only choice was to continue onwards.
The next room was built for someone a lot larger than him and as the long haired male looked around he wondered whether a giant lived here. "What's that?" There was something upon the table above him, a bottle maybe? Well he'd be able to get a better look at everything from a higher angle too. Clambering up the table leg, arms and legs wrapped around it, Laguna began to wonder whether this was truly a good idea. It took a lot of time and effort to clamber onto the table but once he was there, the president realised how small he actually was. His feet guided him to the now obvious bottles placed on the edge of the table joined with the labels 'Drink me.' Laguna edged closely to one of them and tipped the oversized bottle towards himself.
"Well here goes nothing." The liquid poured into his throat and tingled all over his body. Quickly his limbs began to stretch out and his body expanded, he called out as his whole body slipped off the table which tipped over with him. Laguna called out in surprise as he grew to the appropriate size of the objects around him, his eyes opened as his body relaxed. He didn't realise he'd closed them until his body stopped tensing up and as he came to, he realised his body now filled the room but what now? "There..." Laguna let out a breath as his hands traced themselves over the walls, "...Is no door!" His eyes dropped down to the ground as he clumsily felt around for the bottle, "Gotta find the thing...it's somewhere here..."
