I hope that I can at least learn something from this tournament thing...I hope I'm strong enough. Xion thought as she stood in the shadows of the entrance to the Coliseum, waiting for the 'okay' to enter the arena. Her hood was up, contending cool darkness against the bright light that came in from outside. When the okay was given, the Nobody girl walked slowly from the entrance into the arena, her feet scuffing and kicking up small puffs of dust and sand. This place had been used a lot; she observed marks all over the place, telling the stories of past battles, past duels and performances of heroic (or not so) feats and contests of strength, whether magic-based or physical, Xion was awed by the remnants left behind to speak of such triumphs and losses.
The sun was warm, and Xion tugged off her hood, shaking out her black hair to allow the breeze that wandered through the arena to cool her; she looked around, blue eyes catching the light of the arena and shining with hopeful (although slightly apprehensive) determination. Trying to familiarize herself with the space, Xion silently confirmed something in her mind. She would do her best..and if she couldn't win, she still wouldn't give up. Never give up... She didn't give up on her friends, and she certainly wouldn't give up on a fight unless she had no other possible choice.
Deciding it was probably best to have her weapon in hand for the start of the fight, Xion extended a hand and Summoned the Kingdom Key to her hand; she took a deep breath and got into a relaxed stance, ready but not aggressive. She waited uncertainly, shifting her balance from one booted foot to the other as she watched the opposing entrance to see her soon-to-arrive rival. Curiosity over-rode the apprehension.. Xion wanted to learn about her opponent if she could; this was bound to be interesting.
[Action: Summoned Keyblade in preparation of meeting the opponent and the beginning of the duel!]

| | WHY.. AM I HERE? WHAT... PURPOSE? JUST... WHATEVER... | | | Another tournament, the Heartless had been asking for the next tournament of Phil before. He had constantly entered them one after the other, only skipping the ones that required a team. This was due to the fact that the Heartless wasn't used to teaming up with others, something he had been practising somewhat, and secondly due to not exactly having 'allies' to count on.
In truth, the Heartless had cooperated with a few people previously, they were quite varied and many were more of the villain type than those of the hero type. And the only true allies he held were also somewhat varied, even if he hadn't fought the Night Keybearer, then there was the Nobody girl and the Heartless problem. There were some more, but he never truly knew whether they were safe to trust.
The Heartless already learned the Nobody girl, Naminé, was in this tournament as well. Also he had sensed the Heartless woman, Silv, and he had been truly curious on whom his opponent was. Especially since he lacked the ability to read and counted on Philoctetes to tell him when he was up.
Just like this time, the Heartless was called out and he moved out to the arena. He had truly gotten used to the view, the nameless gladiator had no trouble moving up the arena. While looking across, he found his opponent already, somehow the girl reminded him of Naminé and seemed to use a Keyblade as well.
Around him he heard the crowd react, remembering the first time he entered, they were much more against the Heartless, but by now he had gained more fans than he'd ever anticipated. Still, he ignored all the words from the announcers, instead focussing on the opponent. He did sense the Nobody girl, Naminé, somewhere in the crowd which gave the Heartless a bit of a smile.
While there was the idea to copy the strange 'titan' person's stance from his test rounds in these arena's, he knew nothing of his fighting style. Since there was the Keyblade, it was best to just generate a weapon.
"Best of luck," he called over calm to the girl as he lifted an arm and swirls of Darkness surrounded his arm. Into his hand appeared his Reinforced Gun. Then to start this fight of, he aimed at Xion and fired three bullets in succession while he moved in a sideward stance.
| Actions [1] Created the Reinforced Gun and fired three bullets. [2/3] Both unused.
The Cries of an Item 1d6 ~ 1: Reinforced Gun: Four posts active.

Xion watched as her opponent entered from the other side of the arena after having been announced, and kept the Keyblade in relaxed stance, non-aggressive but ready in case the fight started immediately. The first thing she noticed about her opponent was that he was definitely used to being in the arena. Secondly, and the realization took her completely by surprise, he was also a Heartless. She had never seen a Heartless in this form before; Xion's curiosity was piqued, and she studied this new discovery intently, completely forgetting (in her rather absent-minded contemplation of the being standing across from her) that having the Summoned Keyblade would be threatening to the Heartless.
Her attention was brought back, rather belatedly, to the present situation as the Heartless known as Whatever spoke. Looking up, Xion saw that Whatever had created a weapon from Darkness and fired at her..three shots. She brought the Keyblade in her hand up, getting hit by the first bullet but swinging the Keyblade in front of her to deflect the other two shots. With a grimace, Xion grasped the arm that had been hit. Looking across to Whatever, a small smile reflected on her face as she moved to the side, wary now.
"Nice hit...first strike. My turn.."
With those words, Xion cast Thunder, hoping to at least possibly Jolt Whatever, and moved in to cautiously close a bit of the distance between them to get in position for a strike with the Keyblade, should the spell hit.
~~~~ Actions: - Action 1: Xion blocked two bullets with the Keyblade, was hit by the first. - Action 2: Spell ~ Xion Cast Thunder (1 post cooldown) - Action 3: Unused
[OOC note: I hope I did this right ><;]
| | WHY.. AM I HERE? WHAT... PURPOSE? JUST... WHATEVER... | | | Watching her initial attack, it seemed the appearance of the gun took her by surprise. However, she reacted well enough to avoid being hit by two bullets using the Keyblade to redirect them. He smirked lightly back at the girl, "wouldn't it be better to just sidestep the attack rather than start hitting them?" He asked, noticing her move a bit to the side now after the attack. "There's still a good distan-" he continued, but noticed the girl cast a spell, so didn't finish the rest of his sentence
The Heartless quickly crouched and pushed himself to a side to avoid the attack, "oh well," he said a bit more quietly towards himself while noting the girl moving to close in on him. He took up his gun again and fired two more shots before the gun faded as he used Inhale. The gun became smoke and started to create a circle around the Heartless.
While doing so, more Darkness started to gather in his hand as the shape became larger and he grabbed ahold of the handle of his Two-Handed Greatsword. Well then, he thought to himself, knowing that the greatsword would lower his usual agility, but as the girl was already moving in, he guessed he'd stand ready as he lifted the sword a bit diagonal and took a sideward stance with a smile.
| Actions [1] Dodged the Thunder spell. [2] Fired two more bullets at Xion. [3] Used Inhale on the Reinforced Gun.
Note for Staff/Judges In previous discussion, the change of stance or weapons didn't count towards actions. I assumed this and created the Two-Handed Weapon with this in mind. If I was wrong, my apologies, but that was how I remembered the rules being.
The Cries of an Item Reinforced Gun: Two posts cooldown. 1d10 ~ 5: Two-Handed Greatsword: Four posts active.
The Screams of a Shadow Inhale: Five posts active. One Cry absorbed.
