龍Dragon Shaman 巫 Are you challenging me!?
It was a world of death. The absence of life was only something one takes witness to during the end of a world’s life. But this world had no end, nor had it a beginning. It’s face was marred by the scars of war and the tombstones of the past but glittering blades of heroes once bound, by their hearts, to these sacred weapons of Light. Never again would the Light or Darkness shine over this world, for it was abandoned by its enemies, by its heroes. They no longer had anything to fight for, because what they sought-- seemingly was unreachable through the throes of all out war. Barren of life, barren of light, barren of dark, Prithee one on the history of this place. Why had it been deserted? The Ancestors only knew, and they now lay buried beneath the keys that once led them to the future which was ended by the conquest of an obsessed mad man. No longer could this world be sullied by that which did not exist. But Light and Dark still lingered pon the edges of this world. It was enough to lure a single parasite into its wake. Boots crunched against the dry roads of the scarred badlands. Tall cliffs and deep vales presented no sense of end. The valleys reaches into the depths of hell while the cliffs scraped into the heart of heaven. A lone gust of wind cut through the world, which was not shaped by its touch, but instead by the rampant obsessions of man’s selfish desire to have more than he had been granted in life. Thin clouds gave no penance of rain. The land could not survive as such. Stepping through the narrow passages of stone, turning the sightless corners, the beast sought to eventually arrive at the place of rumor, where faes were proposed to live. In the deepest reaches of this world was where he could witness the power which the Light held over Dark, and the Dark held over Light. Fiery hair shook with each, heavy step. Gravel and sand unsettled with each brush of the soles of his boots. The trails of dust that followed him only grew to remind him that this place was dead. Even for one, such as himself, death brought a pain that was indescribable, a reminder that all suffered in this life and the next. Being alone was on equal standing to lying beneath the ground and waiting for the next world. His hand moved up to brush against the jagged stone walls, digging the tips of his fingers into the malformed pillars. The memories no longer brought tears, only pain. Even as he marched forward through his goals, he had never faced such death again. What due end would he meet if there were none there to face him? The goal of life was to live, not destroy everything. This was what he felt the Light failed to understand about the Dark. Without each other they would not exist. “ Than why am I still here?” A soft whisper uttered from his lips before a passing cloud caused a glimmer of sun to shine into his eyes. Pulling his arm up the beast raised his head, pushing to stand at his full height, having leaned his body forward at the heavy burden of his painful thoughts. When he turned his eyes forward, there was no sun. It had carried itself beside him long ago. Than what was that shine of light? There was nothing here to reflect the presence of human civilization. Pushing forward he would finally come to the edge of the graveyard. To his amazement -- Nothing lived. He pushed forward, rushing down the path before his boot caught the edge of a raised split in the barren landscape. The large figure took a tumble down the path. He rolled, landing on his rump. Sliding a few inches forward caused a cloud of dust to fly up, the brute coughing at the sudden inhalation. Raising his arm above his head to brush the air clear he would startle when he would find himself among the Keyblades. To his left, to his right and before him were tombstones. He hurried to his feet, taking in a haggard breath. Flexing his digits he kept his arms pulled to his side in nervousness. Dare he touch them? Dare he reach out? Soon the curiosity was too much and the bare fingers, of his ungloved hand, reached out to touch the handle of one of the blades. He expected something to happen, anything to disprove the ideals that a world could be -- dead. To imagine a land capable of ceasing in existence-- in was beyond his capacity to understand. It was beyond him to seek a world that ended. “ Why…? What good is a world, if there is no world to create chaos in?” Pain… was all he felt in his heart. Not even remnant feelings remained in the world itself.

Emptiness....utter and complete emptiness...what in the Worlds could do this? And why? At the cost of a World...at the cost of how many lives..? From the moment Xion had stepped out of the Corridor's depths into the barren desolation, she felt like she had been hit...with nothingness. It was as if she had returned to nonexistence. She had to force herself out of the negative thinking the emptiness had sent her to, and walked onward. A field met her gaze as she descended a low hill. Spread as far as the eye can see, were things in the ground. A field all right..but not of growing things...nor of dead things. Abandoned things...
Her eyes widened, stopping in her tracks, dust swirling around her feet as Xion stared at the vast expanse. Keyblades... this 'field' was entirely covered in Keyblades. She walked slowly among them, like a ghost among tombstones.. a whisper in the nothingness. Shadow and light, Life and Death...all together in nothing. This was nothing she had ever seen before. She traced one hand across a handle, feeling as though something still lingered. And perhaps something did... Maybe the remnants of the Hearts of those who had once carried these...who had once Summoned them.. What had they fought for? What had been the reason for this...this immense desolation and destruction? Had they all held something to fight for, to protect? Or had it been something less true..some deceit, some ideal that had been twisted and re-presented to those who had lost their blades, their lives, and themselves...for what? What had it been?
A noise made Xion whirl, her own Keyblade appearing in her hand. She had been sure nothing was alive...nothing good, anyways. But there had been no other presences she had felt..so how was it she missed one? She waited tensely, watching where the noises had come from.

龍Dragon Shaman 巫 Are you challenging me!?
As the beast drew his finger over the hilt of metal, he wondered what was it man had done to this world. Only man was capable of such greed, such destruction that they would give up their very lives for soil. He has heard of their ways of war many times before, he has studied them and even so he could neither understand them nor fathom the lengths in which they would go to prove another person wrong. How could darkness or light exist in a world with no life? Were humans completely incapable of understanding the fine tuned balance that is this? Taking another step forward he would only come across another key. Each half step stood about twenty or more lives laid out in this graveyard of war. He held out his hand as he walked, allowing the tips of his fingers to brush over the hilts of the abandoned blades of war. His mind drifted along the questions at hand. Was this world ever worth fighting for, or had it always been this dead? Was it perhaps the scale of war that had changed it so? There was not even a speck of life, from what he could tell. No grasses, no water, no bugs. Twas naught but the winds above that drew any sense of motion into this world. His thoughts were drawn to a halt as he looked up and came to see the figure of another in the distance. He had not sensed them clearly upon their arrival, mind distraught with the tempting distractions of death and destruction. He furrowed hows brows, forcing his eyes to narrow so he could better view that which was far from him. Narrowing his eyes he would focus on the dark figure. Shifting his weight he took note of its height. It was small, a child perhaps? The beast was tempted to take one of the blades as proof of man’s arrogance, but was this place’s existence not enough? As he marched forward his digits to slip from the cold metal of the abandoned blades. It was crude to remove a headstone, in any case, but this place was still a fine monument of what man’s presence eventually does if left unculled. His form stilled, the winds kicking at the fabrics of his uniform. The male stared off with glistening, amber eyes, his gaze filled with the foul intentions known of his sort. He was the kind that stirred the Light. He was the Darkness that filtered through the rays of light in the skies. Cocking his head slightly he would focus on this individual. He could not tell if it was male or female, but that did not matter to him. He wanted to know if this being was edible. Stepping forward, his head held high, the brute would grin. When he grinned it easily showed off his bright, white teeth. They were no normal teeth, but more comparable to a shark’s than a mans. Settling his hands on his hips the creature stood tall, his shadow passing the reach of others around, reaching out to the keyblades that lay rest and making an infinite chain of shadow that reached along the ground. It was a perfect hatchery for Heartless were there to be any incidents… He lowered his head to better view her. “ Who are you… have you come to offer yourself to him?” Something about this girl placed her outside of this world. Not her dress, nor her presence, but the fact she smelled of his favorite food: Shadows.

Xion stared at the figure that had been among the abandoned Keyblades, unnoticed in the shifting gloom and dust of the desolation. This being that had somehow seemed to come out of nothing, from shadow, but having an existence of his own...what was he? He wasn't a lingering memory of anyone here...he was a fully solid form of his own. And yet...he wasn't anything like she had seen before. Foreboding sense made her step back, the Keyblade held securely in her hand. Why hadn't she sensed him?? He wasn't a Heartless...or anything like that. So why? Had it been the absolute absence of other presences here that had made her assume that there was nothing left here, nothing at all?
He towered, literally seeming one with the shadows of the Keyblades all around. His shadow obliterated theirs, linking into one enormous shadowy chain. Swallowing, Xion looked back up at the man? that had marched from his position among the Keyblades and now stood before her. He grinned, and Xion saw that his teeth weren't like anything she had seen either..they were sharp, arranged in a way she had never seen before. But she knew instinctively that they resembled some beast, not a person. What was he? Who was he?
The being spoke, and Xion stared up at him, uncertain she had heard him right. Offer herself..to him...for what? And why did he speak like that? She didn't quite like the way he was looking at her...it was almost as if he were deciding something...maybe along the lines of whether she'd be worth something? Another glance at that razor-toothed grin and Xion hoped that the thought that sprang to her mind had not done the same for this creature. She was not food....of that she was sure.
"Offer...? No, I didn't even know anyone was here...it's so empty and lifeless..." She took a second step back, Keyblade still held at side, uncertain whether it would be needed....for now, she could only wait...and hope this thing hadn't gotten an interest in her.

龍Dragon Shaman 巫 Are you challenging me!?
Whoever it was, they seemed hesitant. Perhaps they knew the tale of this world and what had become of it to leave it but an empty scar, riddled with unspoken memories. The emptiness was not filled. Even as he stood there, the overwhelming shroud of silence hid his presence. He was but one figure amidst a dread larger than even himself. Whatever left these scars, it was assured that its presence would forever remain frozen in this landscape. Death was not something that easily washed away, not even by time. It was a sensation that hovered in the air and choked it. The greater the battle, the greater the scars left on the land. By the glance it much reminded one of a dragon’s graveyard with the way the Keyblades decorated the grounds like the spines of a grand dragon. The male did not wish to believe that he stood in a mass graveyard. It was just too much even for a beast like him. He looked toward the young woman, her face was unfamiliar, but her scent was something he knew well: nothingness. This was the sense he got from the person before him. They appeared to make no energy of their own, or at the very least anything credible to be noticed. The beast saw things through his nose and mouth. His sense of smell and taste determined the intermediate world around him.The creature was so small, but it was granted he was a rather large size when compared to younger ones, adults from other worlds easily reaching his height. When he grinned she seemed rattled, which only provided him reason to hold it. To terrify and stir conflict was not the natural bides of a beast such as him, but an unnatural course of events had caused as such. The weapon she carried looked much like the ones that lay to waste in this horrible place. “ Have you come to die?” He asked loudly. His body shifted as he moved to rest his left, glove covered hand on his hip while his right came up to physically flick his wrist in a dismissive manner. His broad shoulders pulled back, muscles easily visible beneath his tight, wrapped jacket. The bristling fur seemed to dance against the unending winds and his form was held regally as he looked down to the girl with an expression that could only be defined as condescending and questioning. The thought of someone coming to simply up and die was offending. To be given life, only to throw it away in such a manner. It was disgusting. All human war was a foul blight on the state of the worlds. He was sure they were to blame for the unbalance as well. But it was his own, personal, circumstances that created the swirl of hatred that settled into the pit of his belly when he thought of it. It made him want to burp a fireball at the thought… self serving. It was something he silently swore he would never do. Amidst the chaos he wanted to move forward from the past, but he could see that he was simply paving the way into what was predicted by his former Master. He hated this skin that he walked in, but that the same time it was who he was and all he could ever be. Even his wings were sorely retarded in their growth cycle because of this. He wanted to become a dragon, but he was afraid as to what that meant. Would he become a lost spirit among his family as well? He was the only one that was left and it was in due to one individual… one person. He had to find them, but to do so he had to become stronger and take onto him these chains of shadows that stitched together the world. The person responsible for their mother’s death… the world would pay three fold. “ Seeing as there is nothing here, and nothing has come hither, this is what he can presume of her.” This one had neither light nor darkness among them. Were they a spirit of the past? “ Have they come to rest?” He wondered as the thought crept up. Thus far he had been the only living here, so he felt. Could the death be so strong, that even a young one, such as this, had no life? A living death?

This was definitely an intimidating creature...person..? She couldn't be sure, but he definitely made her nervous. Xion couldn't quite figure it out...he wasn't Heartless, but he didn't seem to have Light, either. He was definitely alive, though..there was no question or uncertainty about that. He was tall..so much taller. And his shadow seemed to almost block out any of the dimmed gloom that could hardly be called light, in this desolate World.
The never-ending wind caught the edges of her cloak, and clinked the metal on the top, and brushed her hair back a bit; movement caught her eyes, and she realized that not only was this being powerfully built, with muscles that were hardly hidden under the attire this..man..was wearing, but he also had fur on one side...
Why she should notice this seemed a little absurd to her. Here she was, confronted with this enormously intimidating man and she was looking at the fur? His words were what truly caught her by surprise, though. He thought she was a spirit? Or one of those who had fallen here..? The Keyblade in her hand...he must assume the same would be her fate? Or that she was a ghost..
It was almost funny..after all, Nobodies were something of ghosts..but not really. He would find this out if he made her feel attack was necessary. For now, she was keeping a cautious distance from him..
"No..I didn't come to die.. And I'm not a ghost. I don't belong to those who are here. I'm alive.. and going to stay that way, thank you.."
Now the question was...what was he doing here? This chaos and destruction wasn't caused by him, that much Xion figured.. But what was his purpose here? Had he simply wandered here, as she had? Or had he come here for a specific reason? And why were his questions so....odd?

龍Dragon Shaman 巫 Are you challenging me!?
The beast was always interested in creatures like this, those that seemed to have a connection to the Darkness, but this girl, who was neither here nor there, seemed to lack any such connections. Though she was here, among the Darkness, she herself seemed to lack any connection to it. He was not sure how to word the feeling. Perhaps it was similar to how he saw himself. Though he was a dragon, he stood there in the body of a human. It was not his true form, but it was his truest self. This girl gave off a feeling similar to that. She was like Darkness, but the form she had gave nothing like that a way. She was a curiosity to him, but could she be prey? What were all these weapons? Why was this place a battlefield? What did these people die for? Though he cared not of the idiosyncrasies of humans, knowledge was still a shield of power against those would would seek to manipulate ignorance. But with that on mind: just how much did this girl know? It was clear a dead world like thi could not support life, but she was here and with a weapon like the ones that laid scattered. By her own admittance she was neither a spectre that sought to lay to rest, nor was she willing to simply give up… But he did not believe her. Humans always had a reason to seek destruction. It was an anomaly that one sought to … live. A soft smirk drew itself onto his features as he moved to rest his left hand on his hip. He turned to look at the girl with his molten eyes. His gaze was fierce, like a devil when they were aware of your desires and weaknesses. Did he desire to take her soul and hold her to a damning contract that would forever bind her to him? Why of course. It was his very nature and unlike humans he was not inclined to hide his nature for the sake of others. He rolled his shoulders and cocked his head so that he was leering down at the girl. A strange energy carried off of him, or rather flowed around him. In this world neither Darkness or Light existed so it meant that no living being of either side could exist here. This world did not exist, thus none of this effected the worlds beyond. this is that the dragon had concluded, but he had to know. He had to make sure that his guesses were correct and the only way to do so was to extract the information, thread by thread, from the being before him. “ If this is so,” he began. “... who are you? What are you?” He sneered. “ This world clearly does not welcome your kind.” He raised his right hand to point at her keyblade. Why was she here? Why was he here? There was nothing to hunt, nor anything to achieve. Was it perhaps these weapons? Was this graveyard the reason he was here? He could only imagine that this was a sign of the future to come. If the world was not thrown into conflict and pulled from it in due events than this was what to come. Death did not need an invitation to such a charity gathering. If there were those willing to give up their lives, there was no reason for the end not to stand so close. The cold breathe that touched against one’s neck before a great battle or an adventure through the woods was not the feeling of excitement, but the cold reach of Death telling one not to venture forward to their end.

Xion shifted her stance, eyeing this man as he contemplated something, his expression unreadable. She didn't want to disturb him in any way, as he outmatched her in height and probably strength..she wasn't about to test him to find out...at least, not yet. Glancing at him briefly to ensure he hadn't moved, Xion took another opportunity to look around. The desolation was complete, here...nothing could touch this World...and yet it could not touch anything outside of it. So the non-existence of light and of darkness both was an eerie feeling...a feeling of phantom existence.
Surveying all the Keyblades, Xion was stunned at the numbers. So much death...so many lives...all lost..for what? What could have been so chaotic and destructive that it was necessary to fall this way? And who would remember? How? In this empty space, filled with emptiness....
So caught up in this thinking was Xion that she almost didn't catch the words the man spoke, apparently with his attention on her. Returning her gaze to him, Xion was startled at the smirk that had formed on his face, and the stance he had taken. His eyes unsettled her, the intensity, the probing sense that he could see into her...read everything. And the glowing gaze reminded her of those she had left behind.....those who had originally created her..but had sought to control her. She stiffened, instincts making her on edge. He wasn't one of them..but the sense she got from him was just as bad..
Somehow, she found words, forcing them as she found it was suddenly difficult to speak under his gaze. She forced her eyes to break from his gaze, lowering her head and hoping that he wouldn't decide to make her look again.
"I am me...nobody else. I am Xion. And I am not a what... As for this World...I have never seen it...but if it didn't want me here, I wouldn't have been able to come.."
She considered this for a moment...in fact, it had seemed that the World had somehow influenced her coming here through the Corridors..but why? There was nothing here...nothing...

龍Dragon Shaman 巫 Are you challenging me!?
This was the Requiem: dismissing the lost souls of the past and carrying them to the next world. Here lay, beneath the fallen tools of Light, the remnants of a war slept. It was an event that had neither an end nor a beginning. Since the dawn of man Darkness and Light had fought, but the Keyblade had given them a weapon in which allowed them to start to win over the dark. It was unnatural. Light needed darkness and the more powerful the Light became, so did the darkness. Eventually the Light was chipped away by the all powerful dark that grew to consume its adversary, and the legendary weapon of Light shattered. In this world time had come to an end. In the search for perfection and purity the balance was restored in the most brutal of ways. Thousands of spirits lay torn and broken. All that remained was a single soul and twenty pieces. There were none, though, left in this world that could solve the crimes that took place here. They were crimes against nature, against life. In the end the imbalance fell in upon itself and tore apart. With it went the world and its time. Its secrets were ciphered away was its secrets. So the Legend passed on. A weapon with enough power to destroy the world. A weapon with enough power to save the world. This Graveyard was a testament to its destruction, but even so the hearts that did remain protected the future from suffering a similar fate. For them what mattered was preserving what good remained in their world. It all came with a price. Sometimes the proof of the past was not only a deterrent, but it gave those who sought to revive conflict a means in which to achieve it. To save all the worlds, one world had to sacrifice itself to close off access to all other forms of life. To save all worlds, one had to fall. Hearts were not yet strong enough to carry the burden that darkness wield over the light and for that a world was ravaged and no life was left spared. Here a monster continued to seek and repeat the sins of the past. Even if it meant bringing down the worlds themselves… he would fight for his ideals. Let Justice be done through heaven’s fall. So together the dancing stars, the worlds about, danced a dance of death, slowly spinning into the depths of the sea. The man stood with his left hand rest upon his hip, his dark red bangs flowing over his molten, amber eyes. The beast gave off an ominous feeling. He was filled with a deep darkness that was neither malevolent nor benevolent. A sense of neutrality was held over him, like a watcher. He stared down at the Nobody. The gentle wind of death curled over his form, his fur brushes against his red cheeks. His chest rose and fell as he breathing became heavier. Looking into the girl’s eyes and listening to her brave declarations excited him. There had been hesitation at first but he watched as she slowly gained more and more confidence to speak in his presence. When she mentioned the world brought her upon its own will he was with question. “ Hoo? But this world is dead.” He held out his hand and extended out to the barren landscape. Cracked grounds showed there had been a drop of water to feed the fields. No clouds stood to feed the rains, the winds but the proof that spirits continued to wander, even today. There was no evidence of life, not even a breathe of Darkness or Light. The Requiem had passed and with it went the flame of life that kept this world part of the greater chain of memories that bound together the hearts that burned bright beneath a single kingdom. It had faded away, the wails of the spirits begging for forgiveness. “ What does she speak of? Want you? Why would it want you?” It was an earnest question. What did this world have to give to someone that seemed to have no presence, no existence. It was as if -- “ Are you even… here?”

Xion glanced back up at the towering creature of a man that stood before her, his contemplation of her not any less unnerving than when she had first encountered him here. He seemed to be lost in though, briefly, and she was glad for his apparent inward-focused observations; it gave her time to try to get her mind back into focus..she wasn't sure what she would have to do to get away from this man. He wasn't someone she wanted hanging around..but she also didn't want to simply leave and know that this being whose presence was so chaotic (though the darkness in him was not something she could describe nor had she felt its similarity anywhere else. The personality he exuded was almost overwhelmingly ominous...) and intimidating still existed.. She wasn't going to kill anyone..but she couldn't just walk away, either..could she?
And why not..? This wasn't her World to get involved in....she was not nearly strong enough to even begin to match this being...She could leave...this World was not inhabited by any living...what harm could be done to the World that it hadn't already endured...? the thoughts were barely a whisper in her mind, but Xion could feel the nagging sense that while it was right...it was also wrong, too.
He spoke of the World being dead, in response to her words about the World allowing her here. So he felt the nothing as well... But even if this World exuded Nothing...it was still here. It still had a presence..and thus even if it was a ghost or a shell of its former self, it still existed..and that was enough. The Worlds seemed to have their own being of sorts..though Xion had not usually had to deal with anything like this, she was under the impression that if a World existed, no matter how horribly scarred, one could still reach it. However, she had never encountered a World like this one.
The creature seemed to have assumed that the World had summoned her here..brought her of its own accord. Xion hadn't thought of it quite like that, though she was pretty sure her Corridor-traveling did not change of a World's intention. Usually it was her notice (whether conscious of it or not) of a presence, or the path that her memory walked that influenced her steps toward a World. This one, however, was a World of emptiness..perhaps it had been something inside her mind that had brought her here.. however, right now she didn't really have the time to contemplate this.
Xion returned her attention to the man/creature/being, and answered his question.
"I am here.. I do exist. Just as this World does, desolate and empty as it is..it still exists."
And odd question for him to ask, but Xion believed she knew what he was getting at...she was a Nobody..and they technically didn't exist; Losing their Heart literally made them shadows of their former selves. But this man most likely hadn't come across Nobodies, and that was probably why he was asking.

陰 Dragon ☯ Shaman 陽 Can you see through the mist!?
He watched the girl with a dedicated focus. She had a young appearance, but it was clear she had a spiritual and mental maturity that was given to one with great experience. She stood proud and had interesting expressions, but her scent was what intrigued him most. The stoic faced male was difficult to read at times. His face held a serious focus. He was a man, or a dragon, on a mission. Without his long, dragonic ears, his emotions were a mystery. But if one watched his eyes carefully they could see into his monstrous soul with clarity. His eyes glittered in the sun like dew drops fallen pon a sun-soaked daffodil. With his eyes colored of spring, he appeared calm and without force, but his fiery hair of summer danced against the gentle winds that caste the silent world into a strange motion. The dark clothing he wore certainly marked the end of all things as he stood in this graveyard, a testament to death’s gentle song. He was a vision of a reaper. A spirit floating among the living, swiping from them the charm of life in selfish repentance. But hanging from his hip was something rather animated when compared to his statuesque state. His loose pants had hidden the motions of the partially hidden object. The winds had finally shifted and allowed the loose fabric to be blown out of the path of the strange charm that hung off of his left hip. It crashed against his figure: the object gentle and made with a delicate hand, hands that did not appear to belong to a beast so large and clearly built for combat. The white feathers that hung from the round, bamboo object had a gentle glow to them. The criss-crossing strings made a pattern in the center of the charm like a spider’s web. This object was made to capture the Nightmares that plagued his life and housed what remained of the other half of his spirit. It shared part of his lifeforce, or at least that what it would feel like to someone who had the capacity to sense these sorts of things. She seemed to hesitate with his question, which was good. It meant she was not a mindless tool. The Heartless he had fought had little in the sense of intelligence. By his battle with the Heartless they only seemed to crave comba and did nothing to further his goals. Without the Light there was no reason to summon the Dark and force a clashing of the elements. This girl, though of the dark, had not yet committed to combat nor had she fled in terror of his own, overwhelming Darkness. She perhaps had Light, but perhaps she was too an addled beast of shadows that could do nothing but consume. There was only one way to find out and that was to observe and ask questions. With one fulfilled that left him with two more. “ Her weapon...looks strange.” It had caught his eye when she had first approached. It had looked like all the weapons in the graveyard, at least in a sense. None of these weapons were alive anymore, but hers… hers alone seemed to hold some Light. The frantic whisper of his sleeping spirit demanded he claim the Light’s Darkness and force it into the open, but these things took time and forcing Death’s hand too soon would make a discordant wail that was none too pleasant to listen too. Here he wanted to sing a song… a song of death to fill the empty graves with life, with light. Maybe it would appear to him so he may slay it?

[attr="class","ff"] [attr="class","fff"] NE [attr="class","ffff"] NE [attr="class","fffff"]STAR BURNING BRIGHT IN THE SKY JUST FOR YOU, JUST FOR YOU He had finally managed to get that blasted door open, only after remembering that the Keyblade could actually you know...unlock things. You'd have thought with everything he had seen while he he was 'away' that he'd remember something important like that, but this was Ventus you were dealing with. He was bound to forget a couple of things but he was sure they'd come back to him, and if they didn't he'd be sure to get Aqua or Terra to tell him about them. Though as he rode around on his Keyblade Glider and drifted through the Lanes Between, he couldn't help but wonder where Terra or Aqua could be at. They clearly weren't at home, which for reasons unknown to him had been turned into a giant and eerie looking castle. Which he got the odd feeling he had been through before, and didn't particularly want to travel back through it, which was why he made his way for the exit as quickly as possible. This did of course beg the question as to where to go next on his search for his friends, and while he had thought about the Radiant Gardens he knew before looking there he had one other place to go.
It couldn't be seen from underneath the helmet of his armor but his face was serious as he began to move faster through the lanes, the exit to his destination in sight. He took a deep breath and within moments his body and Keyblade Glider went passing through the warmth of a bright light only to be spat out moments later. Ventus found himself in a barren wasteland dust being blown about by the wind that hit harshly against his armor, and as his light blue eyes scanned the area memories enter into his mind. As much as this place bothered him he kept forging forward, Keyblade Glider moving at high speeds as he zoomed around the air from up high. Everything here pretty much looked the same at least until you got to where Ventus was really heading.
Once he had reached his destination of choice he stopped moving eyes looking down at the ground below him, and the fact it was littered with thousands upon thousands of Keyblades. All of which had at one point been used by someone whose heart held a great deal of strength, but now they were just laying their lifeless and empty of light. It was here at the sight of the great Keyblade War where the lives of Ventus and his friends had changed completely, but he wasn't here to dwell on that. He was here to see if maybe Terra or Aqua were wandering around the ground below him. Perhaps taking a trip down memory lane like Ventus found himself doing at this very moment.
He let a small sigh escape from his lips as he narrowed his vision downward and while at first he saw nothing, slowly two figures began to take shape within his line of sight. He couldn't make out much from his height but they appeared to be talking, and when one of them pulled out what Ventus recognized as the shape of a Keyblade a smile was brought to his hidden face. Maybe he had lucked out? At least one of his friends might be here, and if they weren't at least he had run into another Keyblader. As he began to move downward rapidly, and as he neared the two he jumped off the Keyblade Glider. Said Glider swiftly shifting back into his Keyblade before vanishing from his grasp, and now that he was close he could tell the woman holding the Keyblade wasn't a friend of his. Though as he titled to his head to the side he couldn't help but feel as though he had seen her somewhere before, she was present somewhere within his memories. He gave a shake of his head before waving at the two of them, who Ventus couldn't help but feel a certain level of tension between. "So! I don't suppose either of you have seen a blue haired girl or a moody brown haired man?" he asked his arms going up behind his back, his armor was still present. He wasn't oblivious to the fact the red haired man in front of him seemed to wield a presence of darkness and that made Ventus uneasy. He was watching her, studying her. He wasn't quite overly intimidating...though Xion wasn't quite sure she would admit being anything close to intimidated by this guy. He was like no-one she had met, but that didn't mean she had to be afraid of him. Movement caught her eye, drawing her gaze to a small object hanging at the taller being's hip. It wasn't anything familiar... The craft of it was unknown to her, but it certainly was something to look at...intriguing. She wanted to look at it closer, but she needed to figure out who or what this being was. It was beginning to aggravate her that she couldn't figure out what exactly it was about him that was so...off. Or so powerful. Though the muscles and stature spoke a lot, she didn't get much from his words. He wasn't giving information away freely..and this was something that both piqued her curiosity and frustrated her. Things were to be figured out too..not just simply be.
Her musings were halted by the swinging amulet-type object once again. She wanted to ask about it, and the energy it seemed to contain. But she realized the other was already speaking.
Her weapon..?
Looking down at her hand, Xion realized she still held the Keyblade. How she could have forgotten she carried it Summoned was...well, it was not pondered at the moment, as they were joined by an armored figure who spoke, a male by his voice. He asked about two people, and Xion had no idea what he was talking about. What was going on? Her mind felt fuzzy..as if not quite focused. She groaned quietly, frustrated even more by this discovery. What was next?

陰 Dragon ☯ Shaman 陽 Can you see through the mist !?
The beast had found himself I'm an interesting world. He had never come to witness a world at the edge of death. He could not accept this world was truly dead because it still seemed capable of summoning life, even if it was not its own. Denying this would close off the possibility that this world could never hold life again. If that was so the dragon could only despair at the thought. If humans were allowed to come upon world's and run them to the brink and over the edge of death, what did that mean for those that shared the world with them? To bring the self suffering was divine, to bring punishment to the undeserving was demonic. This was an opportunity he could not pass up.
Her vulnerability was enticing. The male was drawn to her weakness, but at the same time he was drawn to the strength she seemed to have when facing an unknown such as he. He looked human, for certain, but his mannerisms were that of a predator, a creature willing to consent all in his path. Perhaps it was the calm danger about him, a man trained to war and observant in the ways of combat. He did not see himself as intimidating, for the figure he had come to hold was built on the appeals and ideals of the humans around him. As a dragon he was drawn toward power and other material obsessions. Beauty in an individual was defined by his tolerance for them. This form was drawn on the ideals a human held of perfection.
His tall, slender figure was tightly built with muscles. The tanned skin showing he was active and earned his shape. He was not overly muscular, but neither was he scrawny. Fat lay where it was needed and vacant where it posed problems in defining the shape of his musculature. Vividly colored hair shone with health and bright, gleaming eyes offered a glimpse into the strong, ferocious focus the beast held. He was beautiful because he was healthy, or at least gave off the visage as such. Even his strong personality his the weak, fearful hatchling in the fact of the light.
Before he was able to speak out against the small shadow's aggravation, which he could Tate in the air, another man approach, giving rise to a question.
"If this world is dead... Why do so many living pass through?" He vocalizes before turning his body sideways, so he now had Xion and the man in view.
He furrowed his brows as he tries to sense what side this man stood upon. Did he stand by the light, or the dark? Shifting his weight the tall man would rest the majority of his weight on his left side, his left, leather covered hand at rest. The male's question carried to his ears, hand moving up to brush his claret bangs from his honey colored eyes.
"He cannot say if anything living that has come to pass would stay long. Upon his arrival he expected to be greeted by spectres..." He smirked at Xion.
The girl might as well have been a spirit to this gravesite. She held no distinct scent beyond the plain one of a shadow, at least it was what he could sense above the decay and that strange weapon of hers... What he wanted to know was what they were, where they were and why. Tilting his head so he peered toward Ventus. Maybe he had more pertinent information than the girl? After all he at least had a scent.
"What are all these? They are not headstones he has ever seen." Which one knew?

[attr="class","ff"] [attr="class","fff"] NE [attr="class","ffff"] NE [attr="class","fffff"]STAR BURNING BRIGHT IN THE SKY JUST FOR YOU, JUST FOR YOU Man...this place was so depressing. Not only because of all the Keyblades that were littered around it but also because of the history it held for Ventus, and he tried not to let it get to him too much. He was with people right now, and he was looking for his friends he couldn't afford to let himself dive into darker thoughts. Positive ideas and thoughts always led to positive outcomes right? Of course that was right look at him now, all nice and awake. Talking to a Keyblader and some random stranger who just gave a kind of weird vibe. Positive outcome. What wasn't so positive was the fact his friend didn't appear to be here, he didn't need for them to answer his question. The redhead had given him a good enough idea that no one had been to the Keyblade Graveyard in a while, after all a dead world didn't get many visitors.
The stranger with red hair talked oddly, referring to himself as he instead of I. He had never met a person who talked in third person before it was certainly a little strange, but who was Ventus to judge? The armored man crossed his arms and turned his attention away from one stranger and onto the next. The girl wearing the black Organization coat made Ventus feel uneasy he knew what the coat meant, but he didn't know who she was. No one else in the Organization used Keyblades aside from Roxas right? He guess Lea could count, but he couldn't use his Keyblade then. Who was this girl then? Why was she wearing the black coat and walking around using the Kingdom Key...Sora's Keyblade. She must be connected to him somehow.
There was vague memory inside of his head of a girl, but it was all so fuzzy. Why couldn't he remember? He was tossed from his thoughts when the redhead asked a question regarding the Keyblades spread about around them. Ventus unfolded his arms and chuckled lightly, "They're not tombstones, they're Keyblades." he pointed towards the Keyblade held within Xion's hands. "She's got one right there within her grasp, but that one is different than these ones. The Keyblades you see here have all lost their light, they are no longer wielded by a Keyblader. So they lay here dead, waiting for someone to hopefully reclaim them." he left out the part about the giant Keyblade War that took place here. He didn't know this man and for that reason he didn't need to be giving him any ideas, they didn't need two Xehanort's.
"Oh hey! It just dawned on me I've yet to introduce myself." in a moment of foolishness Ventus allowed the armor that coated his body to fade away in a flash of light. Allowing his true appearance to be seen by those around him, "Names Ventus, who might you guys be?" the question escaped from his lips and as it did so Ventus drew his arms upward and let them rest behind his neck, a wide smile present on his face.
