Leering at its prey, the beast began to slowly close in on Goofy. This world was protected by ancient powers that kept evil creatures at bay, so how did such chaotic beasts get here. there was only one other occasion that Goofy could think of where evil had gotten into Disney Town. Pete had corrupted the past and allowed heartless to invade. Even though these things are different, if the scenario is the same, this is serious. The beast opened its narrow mouth as it drooled onto the ground.
Finally out of harms way and in the clear of the two chasing him, the moogle inhaled and began to flutter away with Artifact in hand. It enjoyed when it glew and changed color but not when the monsters came out. So if it could make it glow and keep the monsters away then it would be really happy. Suddenly, it was ripped out of the air and came face to face with a red-eyed girl. Suddenly confused and lacking breath, the moogle was being squeezed heavily by this green haired vixen. Where was she gonna take it, hopefully not back to the dog and guardian. It tried to wiggle free to no avail. The girl would simply not let him go. At least he still had his....Uh oh! The Artifact was not in his hands. It must've dropped when He was pulled from the sky. Saddened, the moogle began to whimper at the loss of his "toy"
Meanwhile, Goofy was looking at the beast. He looked at the back of his shield at a picture of his son Max. He smile with confidence that he would protect his home. He ran forward to build up momentum as did the beast. They came into collision, Goofy had the upper hand by pushing it back into wall. though the beast was not simply going to take a beating with a shield. It quickly jumped to the side to pounce on Goofy, simply to get back handed by the shield.
It pounce second time which knocked Goofy back to the ground. It jumped on top of him attempting to rip his face off but the shield was in the way. Goofy, pinned to the ground, pushed upward sending the creature in the air a bit and then hurling himself into the air uppercutting the beast on the way up as if he were a rocket. Which knocked the beast on its back.
Though highly dazed, the beast slowly stood to simply fall to its side. Before it even hit the floor, it glew and disintegrated into nothing. Looking around himself, wondering if another was going to "pop" up somewhere else.

THIS IS WAR
The Cornerstone Guarded Disney Town from true evil from penetrating its walls, but powerful evil still had a chance to get in if someone let them in. The barrier was what protected this world and would have to remain up to keep it separate from the troubles of other worlds. Luckily for Disney Town this was still the case. Evil had a harder time cursing the realm thanks to the Cornerstone, but why would a monster like Behemoth or Gorgonospids break through such a protective barrier? Creatures like Gorgonospids were neither good nor evil. They were feral, wild animals, apex predators. They were voracious creatures that were forced to survive in a world that did not want them or constantly tried to destroyed them. It was a world of eat or be eaten. The monsters, were simple minded animals who knew only how to eat, though there were those like Behemoth or Imps that had grown enough intelligence to use magic to subjugate prey or fight off predators. They were menacing, but they were not the true evil that could invade the town, such as Cei’th or Tonberry. Even with a relic like the Cornerstone, another Relic like an Artefact would more than likely have enough power to summon evil if left in the hands of the obnoxious Moogle.
Now that the moogle was ‘captured’, he would find that he had dropped the Artifact. This was becoming an unfun game. The magical stone was attractive to beings as such. Moogles were quite sensitive to the twisting of time and space. Their bobbles lit up when they felt a spark of energy. Some younger Moogles often got lost in the tunnels of the Unseen Realm when they could not properly locate or recall the paths they had taken in the first place. Artefacts were particularly attention grabbing in part due to the Time Energy they gave off. The other reason they were so sought after was their unique beauty. The solidified chunks of time twisted into miniature sculptures of crystal in hues that arched across the visible spectrum. With the Gorgonospid taken out by the Knight, there only remained the case of locating the Artefact before something terrible crawled out of the space warped by its presence. But with the cumulative chaos that erupted when the beast began to rampage, the debris kicked about made locating it like searching for a needle in a haystack.
The rose-haired warrior came to a halt. She had pulled up her shield, ready for the beast’s attack, but with it defeated she was able to lower her guard somewhat. The moogle had vanished from her sight and worse so: so had the Artefact. She cursed under her breathe, the profanity accented by a huff of air which blew a few strands of her bangs from her face. She sighed out, now troubled by the situation as a whole. People were panicked, the streets were a mess and the Artefact was out of sight. Some reaper she was to allow things to have gone this far.
“Do you see it?!” Lighting called to Goofy. “If we don’t find it, I can’t leave and it’s liable to call something far worse than just a few animals.” To Light that was all Behemoth and Gorgonospids were.
Something far worse could come from a time between here and there. While Lightning began to push debris out of the way, the Moogle devised a moogly plan! Looking back at the green-haired girl, his slant eyes would pinch up in a smile before tears were forced out of the edges. It sniffled and pressed his white paws to his cheeks.
“Oh boo-hoo, kupo.” He feigned and pointed toward Light and Goofy. “Those bullies are picking on me, kupo. They are trying to steal my stone of light.” Now a Moogle was a fine exaggerator.
In his mind they were big bullies and with his stone of light gone he was upset!

You have to smile for your ♥! As Antique held onto the totally plush moogle, she watched as the action unfolded before her—she did not remember there being monsters in Disney Town, save for the Haunted House—but that was a long time ago…and they were not quite the monsters that were revealed here. Then again, many seasons had passed. Perhaps the monsters she had seen back then were just as scary as the ones now! But they disappeared into dust quite unexpectedly without her understanding. Nevertheless, she felt like she could breathe a sigh of relief. Ever since she had come to bear the burden of wielding a Keyblade, stranger and stranger things like this happened more frequently. Monsters where they should not be; or was it that she was simply appearing where monsters appeared?
Clutching onto the moogle, which she thought was still a stuffed doll, she sighed with relief when the monster disappeared—but then jumped when she realized that the creature within her hands was…w-w-wiggling?! Nearly letting up a yelp of surprise, the grass-haired girl stared down at the adorable creature as she saw tears well up in its tiny slanted eyes! Oh, dear! What a mistake she had made! What kind of creature was this? And why was it so cute? Was it a cat? A tiny bear? A bat? A catbear? Heart swelling from the creature’s adorableness and wanting to simply take it home, she listened to its plight.
“They’re picking on you?” Antique asked, lifting her eyes to see who was picking on the tiny creature. She inwardly gulped. She knew the woman with the pink hair; they had encountered each other once, when they were fighting the train. If it weren’t for the fact that they were all trying to get the Phantom Train to stop, she would have never guessed that Lightning was…well. Not a foe. She was uneasy around her; especially now since that particular mission did not go well. Probably not someone she would want to meet in a dark alley. However, the other person…dog…thing she was with…didn’t seem at all that scary!
The green haired girl narrowed her eyes and held the moogle protectively. “Don’t worry; I won’t let them pick on you, and I’ll help you find your treasure!”
What the heck were those two doing picking on someone so much smaller than them, anyway?

After calming himself down and taking a look around, Goofy felt a bit relieved, at least for the moment. That thing looked nothing like any of the Heartless or Nobodys he had face before. It didn't even have the symbols. He looked at Lightning and figured that where ever she came from those things had to have come from there too. It makes sense anyway. But the Cornerstone still should have done away with the creatures. Goofy pondered away while approaching the pink haired warrior. "Golly, this here sure is bad. We need to find out what's causing these monsters to appear an' fast!" He exclaimed more or less to himself given that he wasn't in earshot of Lightning. The things people have to do to get a nice nap around here.
Seemingly melting from the warrior's feathered section of her armor, the mouse from earlier, seems to be in quite the daze. Being hurled in the air, almost blown to smithereens, and sat on, this small critter shivered toward the ideas of what would happen if he had remained at her side. When he came off of his urge to vomit, he had seen Goofy across the way. He was so excited to see his master in hopes that he would feed him again that he ran at Goofy at high speed. But before he would return, he doubled back and picked up a shiny sphere with a swirly point that was on the behemoth's chaps he had grabbed before it dissolved in the air.
He picked it up and headed toward Goofy, unnoticed, and crawled into his pocket and actually found a few crackers. Lucky Day!

THIS IS WAR
With the Moogle’s treasure safely in the pocket of the Royal Knight, there was no need to worry that the crystallized warp of space and time would react so soon again, but neither party knew that the small, grateful mouse, had returned to Goofy with the prize. They did not know that the anomaly had shifted and hovered over the loyal warrior. Anomalies were also called Temporal Rifts. These pockets of space and time naturally existed in the worlds, but they were sealed and kept under lock and key. When tools like the Artefacts grew too near an unstable Temporal Rift, if often ended in trouble. Places with the weakest Rifts were often those which had experienced a change in their past, willing or unwillingly so. If any more Rifts were open, they would meet with something far worse than a few wild animals. The chaos already wrought by the Behemoth and Gorgonospid was a problematic one, one Lightning was unsure she could easily repair. Though it was not her home, nor her place to help these people, it had been her fault for not moving fast enough to stop the Moogle. Plus there was no way to close any of the rifts without first solving the anomaly, which was the Artefact itself, though Light was unaware it was the Anomaly and the Moogle was that which did not belong.
There was a reason creatures like this were hunted and slain before reaching the lines of a town or city. Their speed and wild power could disrupt daily life, but even the most trained of Civilian Military Police would be unnerved by the gnashing fangs and deadly show of claws the Beasts wielded. They were ferocious and territorial. Though they were rarely encountered they often appeared in pocket rifts created by Chaos and were difficult to predict where they would appear or even when. They were the cause of the loss of more human life than natural disasters and human war combined. It left the people in her world thinning, but collecting the Artefacts would stabilize it! The Valkyrie was determined. Gripping her blade she looked around, blue eyes scanning her environment. There she spotted the Moogle being carried by a little girl, one most unfamiliar. Pointing the Overture at the green-haired child and the toy-looking Moogle she called it out. Though how Lightning could ever tell Moogles apart was a mystery. Perhaps it was their Chaos signature, or she just knew, like a mother.
The moogle pointed to Lightning. “That’s the old lady kupo!” Now normally a person would be outright offended by that comment, but Light’s facial expressions barely shifted.
She was more annoyed at the fact the Moogle was mouthing off. Lightning was currently only part of a whole person, more monster than human, so the slander of her age really was not considered off nor offensive. She lived far beyond her own lifetime, but among her friends she was certainly not the oldest. Her cold eyes narrowed.
“Where the hell is it you fuzzy brat?” Light was at the end of her rope, and the end of her short patience.
“Wah!” The moogle cried and turned to bury its face into the girl’s chest. “The mean old lady wants to put stuffing in me, ku~po!!” Moogles were always quite the exaggerators…
All the while the Artefact, settled in Goofy’s pocket, began to glow. Something was happening. The Moogle’s pompom suddenly began to glow a bright pink as his paws came up to his ears. The Moogle’s face squinted in pain as he looked off to the side.
“S-something is coming k-kupo!” he trembled.
A dark rift tore across the air in front of them. Look, but don’t touch. The dark sphere crackled and began to expand. The clock was quickly running out as the rift condensed, spun and eventually imploded. From the tiny warp dropped an even tinnier creature. It was small, standing little more than three feet in heightl and its skin was a shiny white color. It wore a brown robe, looking as if it were made from a potato sack. Yellow, pupiless eyes blinked as the creature looked up in question. In one hand it carried a glowing lantern, in the other a butcher’s knife. A flat, strange looking tail, that seemed more fit for a fish than this creature, smacked against the ground as its long, shoe covered feet made the hobbling fiend a funny looking animal altogether. Light felt a chill run down her spine as she jumped back, her eyes narrowing. Though she showed no proper fear, she was suddenly cautious and full of hesitation. Standing before them was the master of all Tonberry: The Don Tonberry.
