“Wait, did that actually worked?” She was in more disbelief that it wouldn’t take more fire power. It hit her chest with a surge of confidence; during her expedition, she hadn’t been cornered with too many heartless. Naturally the Pot Centipede was the first of the elite she crossed; she didn’t feel as hopeless, but it was still a fact that she would need an upgrade soon. She didn’t like being idle in a case like this.
She was empty, and Zest was alone with two advisories. Fortunately none of them were scarred by the feelers before they could extinguish the heartless. The red armored hunter posed a harder challenge; it would be in his favor if they were crippled before facing him. He wasn’t one to hesitate either; he quickly charged into the fray at Zest. Lilo had to withhold herself from being brash; she outgrew some of her boisterous personality and pride. She knew she would only put them in a downward spiral to cut in and use the surfers’ speed to shove him away. With the armor her wore, she would be tenderer than she was from dragging Zest along the desert.
“Come on Lilo think,” she shuddered feeling sand fall on her from the blowing winds. The brute of the storm was held off by the walls, while the wisps of the wind front cascaded over the city. With an idea, she leaned heading towards the door making things up as she went. With a click of her heel, she went faster before curving into the door to push. The winds were working against her to get it ajar, while the sand collected at the bottom of the door formed little resistance. Sand cut against her cheek as a warning. Leaning her right forearm into the door with her weight, she pulled her mouth cover up and the goggles down.
When the door finally gave, a swirl of air and sand poured into the market freely. Debris whirled with sand and dust chalking the air. Clarity dropped the longer it stayed open. For now Lilo relied on that, the element of surprise, and time. With a wiggle of her feet, she unlatched herself from the board and hopped off. With a push of her toe, it glided against the wall to be shielded from the incoming gust.
I really hope this thing stays open long enough…
She was leaning flushed against it. Lilo was in an out of this place, and the doors always closed behind her. Then again people hardly needed to open it completely. Titling her body forward, she tested it, and it hadn’t inched forward yet. Her lips pursed uncertain, but that wasn’t her decided factor to stay here.
Through dusty goggles, she stared at the charging symbols on her guns, “come one hurry up.”

My strength is one with the Crystal.
A surge of light being blast from his shield, vanquishing the troublesome beast and towards his opponent in hopes that this fight would draw its end so that things could be tended to. To believe that the battle would be finished with such a blow was foolhardy, but nonetheless Zest held onto the back of his sword and shield in order to maintain the shield’s strike. To his surprise the beast responded with a surge of darkness and immediately a clash between light and darkness occurred. Narrowing his eyes Zest remained strong in attempt to fend the beast off but immediately his eyes widened as the man managed to reach before him and take grip of the shield. There was little time to reach with his weapons already in use. Gritting his teeth, Zest was instantly knocked back and sent flying back from the blow he received.
On the ground, the fallen warrior remained. In his condition he truly could not afford to of taken a hit and the man was truly a powerful one, holding strength that truly was inhuman. He could not afford to remain on the ground otherwise he would merely remain a weakened and easy target. Zest slowly rose and attempted to rise on his feet but immediately he fell to one knee, coughing out what seemed to be a bit of blood. It was a clear sign that his wounds were not faring well, but there was one thing that caught his attention and that was what the red haired man spoke of. Looking up he stared before the dragon and narrowed his cold eyes as he listened to his word.
Just what was he speaking of? Was it his fault that these heartless were summoned here in the first place? Did the beast know this would occur and merely took advantage of it? He spoke earlier that it was his negative heart that summoned the heartless, that he was a host for darkness. Such words, was it his fault for all this? His eyes closed calmly and Zest slowly rose to his feet, his shield and sword fading away. “Your words may hold some form of truth or some twisted form of a lie…but…” Zest said as his eyes immediately opened and a gigantic sword appeared in his hands and his armor changed. Dressed in a powerful armor coated by only the noblest of colors, the Warrior of Light had exalted himself towards the class of knight. The very blessing of the Dragon King Bahamut, his true powers were unleased and a radiant light within him shone far brighter than it could before. “If I am cause of all these beasts roaming forth then I shall accept it all…I shall accept the responsibility for the suffering and vanquish these beasts to atone for my existence and dedicate it to this cause” Zest said in determination as he pointed the legendary Ragnarok towards his foe “I shall not take heed from the enemy…here is where you fall…” Zest said.
As if a gong had been rung, the mere moment the gusting winds raged forth into the town of Agrabah, Zest immediately swung his broadsword horizontally as 6 giant swords appeared before him. With another swing the swords dispersed and were shot towards his enemy. Pushing himself against the forces of the winds, he held his broadsword tightly, ready to strike depending on how his foe dealt with his blow.

陰 Dragon ☯ Shaman 陽 Can you see through the mist !?
Outside the storm began to dissipate. The sounds of battle continued to keep people inside, despite the relief from nature. Perhaps the fiends would kill each other, the people hoped, unaware that the three now stood against each other with the Heartless fallen for the time being. The world was dry, hot and without Darkness. Though Darkness could be imposed on the world it had no resources. The people were weak and helpless. And while there were soldiers here, many of the men who were guards were overweight and underskilled in their duties. They served as no threat were a plot of takeover to occur. The only interest were perhaps the traders who had a knowledge of the land and could perhaps carry knowledge of a paradise hidden somewhere in this hellhole. The dragon was not going to sit around and fight if it was going to turn sour on him. He had located prey, but it was far too strong to handle.
This was not going to end well. With his arm likely broken the dragon now faced two opponents on his own. Had he been facing them separately he could have perhaps stood a chance to take the Warrior of Light down. He was weak and he could smell the blood on the man. The woman’s weapons were likely capable of cutting through any, natural physical defenses he had and the man’s Light was still powerful, even in his haggard state. The armor that protected him was not going to last forever. The beast was getting backed into a corner. He may have managed to knocked the warrior prone, but it would not serve as any combative advantage. Molten gold eyes jumped between warrior and engineer as he was now outnumbered. The stupid Heartless did not help matters either. He held no control over such creatures, his level far below that of his predecessors.
The beast watched the man charge, but he could go forward no more in a strategic sense. Pulling his arms to cross in front of him, the glimmering crimson of his armor would remain to guard him. His legs anchored against the ground, his eyes glaring out from beneath his bangs as he put his all into bracing for this attack. both men were battered and bruised, but one had much less experience in such combat. Though his years superseded many he had met, Zest was a figure that crossed the annals of time and claimed victory and death from foe after foe. Fai had only ever lived crossing back toward his past where pain and suffering existed. He had little to expect from the future because he chased after something that no mere mortal could ever hope to achieve: he sought to return his brother to his former glory of life where the Heartless had taken it away. He would find that Heartless and steal back his brother’s greatest treasure. But the young dragon had no expectations of grandeur. He knew his limitations and he has met them.
The Radiant Sword ability would be the Dragon’s end in this world.
Even with his armor guarding him, the attack would rip through his form. The dragon stood hunched, the plated armor starting to fall apart, as if the beast were molting his scales. As the plates of armor fell they vanished in a smoke of darkness that was absorbed back into his body. Staggering forward his arms fell to his sides, bloodied gashes marking his arm. It was the end. He had exhausted all his stamina and there was no way he could summon his strength at this point to cover his entire form in the armor. He could no longer move his left arm, the adrenaline starting to push down to his legs as his flight instinct kicked in. His eyes shot toward the wall as the storm finally began to trickle down to a thin veil of sandy gusts. The beast sneered and dropped to a full crouch.
“You can’t fight it forever! You’ll eventually sucumb to the Darkness in your heart! And when you do…” The best put all his remaining strength into his legs and ran!
He ran like hell!
He kicked off the ground and charged forward, body low and away from any possibility of being struck by magic and, hopefully, plasma bullets! He charged for the walls before kicking off the flat ground. The beast would aim to jump up onto the nooks and crannies provided by the sun-dried, mud-brick homes and launch to the top of the wall where he would use the veil of sand as a cover for escape. When landed upon the wall’s edge, crouched, he would glance back at the pair before reaching up his hand and moving to pull down his eyelid. He spat out his tongue, providing the pair with the insulting gesture upon his departure. It wasn’t worth dying over. But he would not forget the warrior and the woman. Both could prove to be dangerous.
“I’ll be back to consume it!” He dropped backwards into the sandy mist. It would be a while before the dragon was back on his feet. It was a painful experience and lesson, but hopefully one well learned.

Come on come on come on come on come.
“WOOO!” She whooped as the gun green lit; Lilo was back in business. Abandoning her post, she rushed to jump back on her levitating board; the door was slowly closing behind them. It zipped faster than a flying carpet as she soared over tented vendors. Sand rained from her hair and body as she surf the air until she was hovering next to Zest. Although her goggles were dusty, she could make out his white hair.
Shaking loose sand off her head, she looked from the reptilian weirdo and the Warrior of Light. The armor he adorned was crumbling off, but each piece fizzed away into darkness after making contact to the ground. She was going to ask what did he do to him, but she remained poised armed with two guns pointing at him.
Was this really the end? She wasn’t complaining by any means. The islander couldn’t calculate how this would’ve turned out if it stretched out. She was packing and ready to blow this Popsicle, but her reliability lasted as long as her guns could. With his bulk and girth, she would have to be innovative to overcome him or land an effective hit. Thank goodness Zest was here; she didn’t underestimate him, but he was the trump card to pull through after being in the desert with the worm earlier. But she can muddle in admiration later; their opponent was about to surrender.
Wait. Her eyes narrowed as he looked towards the wall. No, he wasn’t.
“You can’t fight it forever! You’ll eventually succumb to the Darkness in your heart! And when you do,” he darted off before he could finish it.
Taking aim, she clicked her guns to switch the setting with maddening swiftness. Playing games with Stitch made her thumbs dexterous. Beams of lightning and balls of freezing nitro plasma balls danced after him. When he maneuvered to scale the wall, she fired ahead of him anticipating his movement. But after wasting six shots on a retreating loser, she stopped. At least he wasn’t this world’s problem anymore.
“Tch,” she puffed sand off her lips with a snort, “he bit off more than he could chew. I should tried the Gravi and Plasma combination again.”
She chastised herself with a shake of her head, while holstering the Marks.
“You’re alright? And what did you do to him? Whatever it was, it peeled that armor of like an orange,” with a sigh, she lifted her goggles on her dusty forehead. The storm was coming to a close, so she wouldn’t need the guard much longer. With a tug, the scarf loosened for her words were muffled by them, “well at least the citizens can breathe, and it isn’t too chaotic for them to go on their merry way.”

My strength is one with the Crystal.
The battle was nearly over. With the doors having been shut by Lilo, and having her join beside him by his side, victory was nearly in sight, but the fight was not yet over. This man was one who utilized that of trickery and could not be one to merely be left unattended. The wounds plaguing Zest’s had begun to slow him down a bit and it was harder and harder to continue to fight, but even so there was the glimmer of chance as he witnessed the Radiant Swords having pierced through the beast’s armor. The attack seemed to of done quite the heavy damage and it did more than Zest had at least anticipated. The beast had fallen but the fight was not over, the beast still lived. He would rise towards his feet once more and do battle with him once more, possibly feigning succumbing to his wounds and Zest would be ready for him.
However Zest was proven wrong as the beast suddenly became a chicken…
Gritting his teeth with a tsk, Zest immediately gripped his broadsword once more and prepared to pursue the chicken beast, only to halt himself before moving. The beast was nimble and fast and Zest knew he could not catch up to him. He could not use Radiant Swords again and Shining Wave would not reach in time. He could have thrown his shield for an effective attack, but it was too late. Glancing up at the fleeing enemy he stared at him and watched him leave. “Even if there should be a time where I will fall corrupt…I shall not let you hold the satisfaction you desire…” Zest said calmly having removed the mask covering his mouth and lifted the goggles covering his eyes. Even though that man was one of darkness, he still questioned about what that form of light was that the man had used to draw them earlier…just who was that man anyways?
Upon hearing the words directed towards him, Zest glanced down towards Lilo and nodded. “I am fine….” Zest said glancing up back towards the wall that his enemy had fled from. “I struck him with the power of light…Light shall always cut through the darkness if it is strong enough…though my blow was not just solely due to its strength, that man was weakened…either because of our battle or because of something else…I cannot say.” Zest said before glancing over towards the town in which the residents remained cooped up in their homes “Regardless I am pleased that we were able to aid these people” Zest said as the radiant armor upon him reverted back to his previous attire, once more dressed in his back body suit and only covered in armor from the waist down with the arms covered by the armored gloves. His vision began to blur and suddenly Zest began to stagger a bit, but even so Zest attempted to remain on his feet. The blessing of the Knight Class had helped his wounds slightly, but even so the blow he took in battle had done quite the number on him.

“And the people should be thankful,” the last word dragged as she tried to catch his staggering, “you’ve taken quit the hits from the worm, the heat, and now that guy. I wouldn’t even give what he said a time of day.”
She looked around for short-walk to an inn or anywhere for he can recover. She parked Luka away from the entrance and didn’t want to push him to get there. He would probably be stubborn for the trek, which only proven the lunatic’s words wrong. How can his heart succumb when he’s filled with so much good intentions? “I’m sure we can both agree he wants you for your light like a bottom feeder. “
All the buildings practically looked identical, and she really didn’t want to erupt to order knocking on door to door. Oh well they did them a favor. A rest in would turn the world off its axis. Being on her hover, she was elevated to match his height, “Come on let’s find a place before fatigue really hits you.”
“But you’d think that guy would have better persuasions,” Lilo pondered back on him, “He must be new to the whole thing: roaming the words, wreaking havoc to lure the light, and for whatever cause. He underestimated you and picked a fight when he wasn’t at his best.”
It all in all felt off and desperate. Her brows scrunched as she led him to a wall to recline on, “I’ll go see if anyone would be nice enough to let us stay for a bit. You need your rest, and I refuse to drag you all the way back to the ship, so nu.”
She was about to zip off, but only moved in a drifted before halting. She didn’t think she would be THIS interested in the other, but she pose rehabilitating many personas it became second nature trying to read people. “I hope this was a onetime thing unless your strength only piqued his interest more. It’s weird and yet possibly scary. Why would anyone so unprepared push this far for what other’s possess, JUST your Light? I think calling it ‘crazy’ would be too easy. Like everything else that’s going on in the world, something is up. It seems like the darkness not only disturbed world order, but as many people as it touched.”
“People lost homes, loved one, and worlds. Like you they’re scattered across the galaxy left to pick up whatever piece they can,” she paused reflecting how it personally hit her and called Stitch away. He went to investigate the dark readings and hadn’t returned in years, and here she was using her assignment given by the IGA for personal means to find him. Everyone knew it, but never admitted it. Knowing how close they were and how she dedicated her life since childhood to them, they didn’t even move to stop her. Everyone was picking up the pieces including her, “What pieces could he be picking up that would require to pose danger?”
What pieces were Zest picking up?
Lilo you’re going to fry your brain.
“Eeeeeh I’m probably over-thinking it,” she shook her head dismissing the empathy before swerving off, “I’ll be quick.”
From house to house, she knocked, requested, and informed the citizens that everything was clear. Despite all the darkness, there was light, and in light there was hospitality. A small loving family would take them in, and naturally the odd foreign pair more than likely wouldn’t want to overstay their welcome. The desert wanderers needed a break from Arabian Days and relax in the coolness of Arabian Nights.
