Squall noticed how the team managed to take out most of the Air Soldiers. However, the train had seemed to cast a cloud of acid rain which rained down upon them. With no hesitation the Lion had begun to run towards the train in order to avoid taking any kind of damage. Sadly, right as he was about to make it out two drops hit his left shoulder and forearm.
Leon couldn't help, but wince at the pain as the acid ate through parts of his jacket and burned his skin. While still running towards the Train he cast Cure on himself to help heal some of his wounds. The longer he seemed to run the more he noticed there was no way he could catch this train. The Lion had no way of reaching it at all.
Hopefully, Lightning would be able to reach the train in time with her summon. Leon really was hoping for some sort of way to catch up, but he had none. With this in mind his run slowly began to turn into a walk.

Standing in place with his yellow boots planted firmly in the dark and dead ground beneath him, Tidus watched as the other heroes finished up their assigned heartless. Feeling satisfied with his work, Tidus formed a confident smile on his face as tossed his water themed blade upwards into the air. As the blade quickly rotated over and under itself, Tidus left his right arm outstretched above his head, eying the blade as it then came back down towards him. With a quick swipe, the superstar caught the bladed weapon by its yellow handle as he then sliced the empty air in front of him, finishing his victory pose.
"Nothing to it!" Tidus remarked out loud in a cocky and cheerful manner.
As the blonde haired hero stood there with his hands placed on his hips, a bright white light emitted off to the side of him as he saw the pink haired heroine cast a healing spell on the young green haired witch. As the spell struck her, small waves of light twirled around the youth's body as small sparkles burst in thin air, as if they were replaced by glittering beams of light that fell to the ground like snow. Tidus watched in awe as he witnessed the young female's wounds instantly disappear, and refresh her overall appearance. Noticing it for herself, the young girls expression seemed to have went from a terrified or startled look, to a now amazed look as a large smile formed on her face.
With a another terrifying scream erupting all the way from the depths of the train's interior, making its way out the smoke stack, this iron beast let itself be known that it was still around. Jerking his head towards the chugging train, Tidus' brows narrowed as he snapped back to the task at hand. The train continued to rip through the dark forest ground as rails and tracks magicly attached themselves in front of the train to keep it mobile. It looked as if the train was far from slowing down as its powerful persona let out another haunting scream, echoing throughout the entire dead and withered forest. As the dark cloud spewed out the top of the smoke stack, it looked as if it held an alternate appearance to what the heartless were derived from. The cloud was definitely different in some way, but what was it?
"You need to switch Targets!" The pink haired female yelled, as if she was addressing the other three.
Jerking his head back a bit, Tidus blinked as he then understood what the female was talking about. Nodding in agreement, Tidus knew he had to concentrate on the source of the heartless, which was the train itself. Before Tidus could let the female know he acknowledged her command, the superstars mouth remained open as a small grunt came out in between his lips as he suddenly heard something odd.
"Ehh?" Tidus noised as he started to look around, trying to find the source of the weird sound.
The noise was a pitter patter sound, however it was faint, as if whatever it was creating it was light in weight. Following the pitter patter sound was a sound that resembled steam being created. It was an odd combination for the superstar to wrap his head around. Listen carefully Tidus then heard the noise get closer and closer. On the forest floor in front of him, he saw the earth get a shade darker, as if it was becoming wet. However, to his realization, Tidus then noticed small waves of thin smoke layering the top of the ground. Was the forest melting? As his eyes widened, Tidus then quickly looked up as he laid his piercing blue eyes on the other three in front of him.
To his left, Tidus saw the pink haired woman run towards the train quickly, then out of no where, she was enveloped in a giant bright light that forced Tidus to raise an arm, to protect his eyes. As the light quickly ceased, the superstar lowered his arm as he was amazed at what he saw. No longer was this pink haired warrior chasing the train on foot, but now she was riding on top of an elegant and god like horse. The horse itself held a very dominating appearance, as if there was more to it. Its body seemed to hold a skin tight armor plating as its white in color body carried a muscular build. The gold outline of its armor was just as magnificent as the horse itself. Within no time, the pink hair warrior quickly vanished from Tidus' sight, unknown to the superstar what her fate entailed.
Following suit, Tidus quickly noticed the dark haired male run off towards the train as well in a quick hurry. Tidus looked on as he noticed the man cast a healing spell on himself, as if he was taking damage somehow while running forward. Confused, the superstar then lost sight of the man as he ran off into the darkness and after the train. Then it hit him...
"Ow! ow! ow!" Tidus yelped quickly as he quickly brushed the burning rain off his exposed right forearm. The superstar then noticed the rain itself was in fact created by that last puff of smoke created by the train. Acid rain.
Gritting his teeth, Tidus then backed up several feet as he then reached up and pulled his white hood over the top of his head, helping to protect himself from the acid rain. With a serious expression on his face, the superstar knew he had to board the train somehow. Quickly forming a plan in his head, a confident smirk was etched across his face as he then bolted off the dark forest ground with a hard push. Small fragments of the still dry area raised upwards into the air as small clouds of dirt appeared behind each quick footstep made by the fast running superstar. Making his way towards the train, Tidus kept his armored left hand in front of his face to help protect his vision from the acid rain, as his other hand gripped his brotherhood, leaving it above his head, to help protect what he could of the rest of his body. Still, this offered no one hundred percent protection against the burning rain, but it was all he had to work with. Gritting his teeth and grunting he pushed through the pain as he concentrated on the task at hand, which was to reach and board the iron terror.
At this particular point in time, Tidus was relieved he was naturally fast. Staying within eye sight of the train, Tidus' eyes widened as he saw someone familiar struggling ahead of him. It was the green haired female! Noticing the young female struggling, Tidus quickly caught up to her as he ran next to her.
"Hey! Don't slow down now! We have to get on that train!" Tidus yelled to her, trying to boost her confidence.
Looking upwards, Tidus saw the train slowly start to get further away from them. Not taking any chances, Tidus then dismissed his brotherhood sword as he reached over and grabbed the young females wrist. Engaging the muscles in his shoulder, the superstar then pulled the young girl around and behind him as he slowed down momentarily, and crouched down. Placing the young girl on his back, Tidus began to run while carrying the young light weight female on his back in a piggy back fashion.
"Hang on!" Tidus instructed to her with a friendly smile.
Grunting, the superstar continued to chase after the train, as he blocked out any pain he was suffering. With each stride he felt the burning in his leg muscles as he now had extra weight to carry. Seeing as he was not going to catch the train, Tidus narrowed his brows as he concentrated. Suddenly, energy began to form all around his body as blue light licked his body with each passing second. Throwing his hand forward, Tidus was forced to let go of his passenger momentarily as his outstretched arm was aimed towards the train itself. With a quick light, the entire train had a thin layer of energy form around it, as Tidus cast Slow magic on it, hoping to slow it down long enough for the two to get aboard the train. Watching the train start to move slower, Tidus increased his speed as he grabbed underneath the young girls leg, helping hold her in place as he ran. Quickly the two caught up to the side of the train as Tidus then looked over his left shoulder and into the girls eyes. With each quick stride both their clothing bounced in unison with one another as they were now next to the train.
"Get ready!" Tidus said to her as he then got a bit closer.
Leaping into the air, Tidus let go of the young female as he spun around and grabbed the girl around the waist, placing both hands on each side of her slim waist line. With a quick grunt, the superstar then tossed her towards the train watching desperately as she landed on the side of the train safely with a thud. Satisfied with the outcome, Tidus engaged the muscles in his torso and legs as he spun around accordingly aiming towards the ground with both his yellow booted feet.
"YEAH!" Tidus yelled cheerfully.
Landing on the ground next to the train, Tidus had to quickly keep himself from falling as his eyes widened with shock. Quickly regaining his balance, Tidus started to run again as his yellow boots hit the ground running hard, pumping both arms quickly as he tried to catch up to the side of the train where Antique sat. Out stretching his armored left hand, Tidus tried to reach for the young girl, in hopes of her grabbing a hold of him so he could board the train as well. Each second that passed by, Tidus was drawing closer and closer to her hand. With hope in sight the superstar formed a quick smile as he knew he would make it. Then, the spell suddenly wore off as the a quick thin coat of light covered the train once more, causing the train to pick up its normal speed again.
Tidus' face held a shocked expression as the young girls hand slowly drew farther and farther away from his own. Bringing his arm back his side, Tidus lowered his head as he tried to increase his speed. His muscles burned as well as his lungs, not to mention the damage he sustained from the acid rain on his way to the train. Grunting the superstar tried his best but was failing at his attempt to keep up with the train. Seeing that Antique was no longer in sight, Tidus found himself towards the end of the train as he desperately grabbed for any part of the iron beast he could, in hopes of latching himself a nice grip and overcoming the odds of boarding the train. Summoning his brotherhood, Tidus hoped to pierce the side of the train with his sword, however, the train was already moving to fast to get a good position in doing so. With a final swipe of his armored hand, small sparks shot out beneath Tidus' armored glove as is quickly dragged across the last part of the train.
"Ahh! No, no, noooo!" Tidus shouted in anger.
As the train roared on through the dark desolate forest, Tidus' run turned into a jog then into a walk before he ultimately stopped, gasping for air. Folding his wrist downward in a pouring motion, Tidus stuck his water themed blade into the ground in front of him as he took a single knee and lowered his head in defeat. Frustrated with himself and the current situation, Tidus then lifted his armored arm as he plunged into into the dark forest floor creating a small cloud of dirt to gently float up in the air. In the distance, Tidus could hear the train roaring through the forest as it made its way towards its intended destination. The horrific belching of its smoke stack echoing throughout the entire wicked forest.
"...Hey! Don't tell me your hittin the bench now?... Ha! So typical, giving up so soon. Go ahead and cry, that's all your good for... say goodbye to your new friends cry baby! Hahaha" A familiar voice said to Tidus. Was this voice an inner demon from the past speaking to him? Or was there really someone special watching over him?
Lifting his head slowly, Tidus formed a serious expression on his face as he stood up. Looking down at his Brotherhood that was planted firmly in the ground in front of him. He watched the double red bands on end of its handle waved gently in the wind. Reaching his hand outwards, Tidus then gripped the yellow hand of he blade as he quickly pulled it free from the dark Earth. Holding the blue blade up to his face, Tidus then dismissed it as he then caught the faint light of the run away train in the distance. With a new fire burning inside, Tidus wanted to prove that voice wrong more than anything. It gave him a sudden boost as he used that anger to fuel him forward.
Crouching down, the superstar bolted off the ground as he began to run after the train quickly. Ignoring any pain he felt in his body, Tidus pushed through as his natural speed drove him towards the train. After coming into eyesight of the locomotive, Tidus summoned energy around his body as the blue energy formed around his body, letting out a powerful yell, the superstar threw his arm forward he cast Slowga on the train, making it move slow again, hoping he could catch up to it. Knowing that this was a more powerful form of Slow magic, Tidus hoped it would last longer. Not taking any chances, Tidus did not stop there as energy began to form around his body once more. As the blue energy quickly formed, Tidus threw his hand forward in front of him, as he cast Hastga on himself, increasing his speed dramatically. With the combined magic working at the same time, Tidus found himself catching up to the terrorizing train in no time. With a streak of light developing in his wake, Tidus quickly gained on the train as he could now see the back of the train. Knowing the magic could expire at any second, Tidus knew he had to act quickly. The area around Tidus was a blur, as if he was going through a tunnel that was painted in streaks all along it, and the train was at the end of the tunnel.
Approaching the end of the train, Tidus threw caution into the wind as he took one giant step and planted his foot into the ground, several feet behind the train. Now that he had a suitable base to launch off of, the superstar then quickly pushed off the ground as he became airborne. Feeling his body go weightless, it was as if time stood still as Tidus threw both of his arms forward and aimed for the back of the train. Hoping fate was on his side, his widened eyes slowly closed as he waited to feel the cool iron being grasped by his desperate hands....

The train seemed to scream in rage as, despite all of its best efforts, it seemed to slow down due to Tidus's spells and Antique's own spell. While it wasn't a crawl, it was slow enough that even Squall, who was currently bringing up the rear, could catch up rather easily. The Train did not appreciate this. "YOOOUUU WHO HAVE ATTEMPTED TO STOP ME! LEAVE NOW OR BE CAST INTO OBLIVION!" The train trundled onwards, crossing the castle moat. The heroes would see that as it crossed the water, it not only actually crossed it via the tracks made of darkness, but the Darkness seemed to corrupt the water itself. Those who had encountered the Heartless would recognize this Darkness, but whether they recognized Heartless or not, anyone could see that this Darkness was actively malignant and corrupting, like a disease or a poison. Those that were chasing the train and trying to get on would find that the train was littered with pustules made of Darkness, with veins stretching from them. It was unclear what they were, but they seemed to pulsate. The entire train stank of the corrupting darkness and anyone near it or on it could hear the cry of the lost souls now trapped on the train and slowly losing their minds to the darkness. Soon, the heroes could hear, "N...o... es...cape..." The train was soon joined by monsters of a different kind as the undead started to climb to the train and move towards the boarding heroes. A Ghost, looking up at Lightning on her Eidolon, fired a Fire spell at her, while other undead monsters moved towards a certain Blitzball player. Meanwhile, the train exacted its vengeance for being slowed by using another attack. This time, beams of light were cast from the skies onto the heroes. Despite its seemingly benevolent image, the light that was cast felt oppressive and hateful, as if the light was trying to burn away the heroes. [Summon Heartless: 3 round cooldown] [Wheel: A wheel comes off Phantom Train and smacks one person for moderate damage - Cooldown: 1 Round] [Acid Rain: The Train conjures a storm cloud that spills forth rain made of Acid onto the entire party for moderate damage - Cooldown: 3 rounds] [Saintly Beam: The Phantom Train casts beams of oppressive light that seeks to burn all opponents attacking it for moderate damage - Cooldown: 4 rounds] [Call Monsters: The Phantom Train calls the undead monsters that call the train home to its aid. LIGHTNING (n.) a sudden stroke of fortune
Lightning rode toward her enemy. Behind her she could hear the sounds of battle pursuing the monstrous train that seemed to ride its way down a nightmare. She felt her heart thrum in her chest. Anger peaked as her memories flowed. Her own adventure had began on a train ride to hell, but she had cut her resolve to save the lives of innocents. It seemed this train had a drive to repeat this path. This time around though: Lightning knew what she wanted to do. She held onto Odin, the loyal steed galloping faster, crashing the raging sounds of thunder all around them, battling the train's obnoxious bellows to duel. Lightning glanced back when she heard a strange sound, one that felt familiar, as odd as it seemed. When the Time Magic twisted in space and pulled the train down, dragging the incomprehensible cogs of energy to a near standstill. It was not enough to stop the train, but she was amazed that there were those capable of magic that were not fal'Cie. It was amazing, these worlds. But if they did not do something fast the Chaos would consume this world and become a presence unlike anything she had ever seen. Before she was able to respond to those who had become her teammates the Valkyrie would come to witness as the very dead rose from their graves and manifested in the air, wailing horrendous curses. Lightning had never seen the spirits of the dead before, such a thing had not been a memory of her past, or even a position she understood in the present. As a hand to the Goddess of Death, all lives were sent back to be reborn, but to see the souls and bodies of those that had yet to cross was unsettling. It was as if their time had been incapable of turning beyond the hand of Death. The stirring concept angered the warrior. To not let the dead rest was far beyond cruel. It was the same she felt toward Caius, and his suffering. She did not hate him and understood that his way came from the endless suffering. To toy with them.... When the ghost struck the warrior with its spell, the fierce mistress felt her anger stew. Using them as tools for one's own selfish needs. Let them rest! Lightning pulled her weight so that Odin would follow the flow of her motions.
“Let's go!” She clapped together the split blades of her Eidolon's weapon: Gagnrad. The sky roared out as the clouds twisted and the mighty steed reared up. Bolts of lightning rained down from the twisting clouds, followed by monstrous roars of thunder. The bolts would not be directed at the train, but the horrors it summoned. It would allow her allies to work together. Thunderfall would pummel the enemies with a powerful strike, one with enough force to launch anything not grounded, into the air. Lightning pushed to stand on Odin's back, racing closer toward the slowed train. When a pillar of light her with a mighty eruption of painful light, she staggered, but even still kicked off her steed to dismount. Her target? The train's caboose. She was not going to allow it to go further! Odin continued to race beside her just in case her jump came too short. As she was soaring through the air she would hold tight Odin's blade in hopes of hitting her target. She swung down the blade, and if lucky she would catch herself on the side of the train were she to have fallen short. Whether or not the Gagnrad made contact the warrior would hold out her hand and summon a bolt of lightning to finish the one-two combo: Lightning Strike.
-------
Thunderfall- 4 Cooldown Deals lightning damage to all enemies before launching them into the air. Jumped: Lightning made an attempt to leap off Odin and onto the train Lightning Strike - 3 Cooldown Lightning attacks with her blade than with a lightning spell for a two attack combo. Only usable in Gestalt Drive.

The green haired keybearer sighed to herself, as she slowed down, knowing that, by herself, she'd never be able to catch the train. At least she was able to do one last thing for the party before she was left behind. But the feeling did not last for long, and before she knew it, she was piggybacking on the popstar's back! That was quite an unexpected development! And being so, unconsciously knowing that the popstar was not going to bring her any intentional harm, she held onto him close, blushing embarrassedly the entire ride. Soon enough, his arms were wrapped around her, and like some kind of ragdoll, she was tossed ontop of the train! Well! That was one way to make that work! Landing with a gentle "thunk" on the train, she immediately reached her hand out to help the blonde man, but saw that she had fell short. Eyes widening in disbelief, she couldn't believe this...No, no, no!
She did not get much time to think much about the situation, however, which was what she needed. She snapped her head up, to see...were those things dead?! Suppressing a squeak, she pointed her blade at the creatures--those...those definitely were not Heartless! Grasping onto her blade, and as If reacting instinctively, it began to rain a miniature torrential of snowballs*above the creatures, mixed in with a bolt of lightning**. Though nowhere near as powerful as the girl with the rose hair, she hoped it would be enough to hold them back. She still had a trick or two up her sleeve, afterall. Turning her head back to the end of the train, she saw that the blonde haired boy hanging to the very edge of the train. Antique beamed widely, glad that the boy had made it, crouched down, and used her meager strength to pull him up onto the train. "By the way, my name is Antique," she joked, glad he could make it. Now then...the rose-haired girl was accounted for, the pop-star...that left...
"Please, hurry***...!" she whispered, and pointed the blade at the Lion, who was illuminated by the gentle light of a clock underneath him. Granted, the train was going slow enough for even her to catch up to, the figured giving him that extra boost would make things at the very least...much more interesting! Her spell cast, she looked at the blonde haired boy, knowing full well the Lion would be able to catch up now. "Let's go. We've got to help her out."

With much surprise the train had begun to slow down to the point where the Lion would be able to catch it. Without a second thought, Squall began to turn his walk into a jog which had turned into a run to make this train. Leon maintained a fast pace while maintaining a very proper form for running. The train was getting closer by the second and his heart was pounding.
He could feel the tiny droplets of sweat run down his face in the attempt of reaching this train. However, he let out a sigh due to the notice of some sort of brilliant white energy that flew into the sky. This only motivated the Lion to move even faster to reach this train. Once he had a good distance between himself and the train, Leon had jumped high into the air just landing on the edge of the train by Antique and Tidus.
Squall had dealt with train missions before, but none like this. "To bad this isn't the end," the lion joked." The party is just getting started," Leon said with more of a serious tone. You could say that Leon wasn't to thrilled about having to deal with a run away train and on top of it all the Heartless having to invade.

With the possessed train hurling itself through the darkened woods and across the castle moat, Tidus felt a small, yet delicate sensation on his hand. Looking up through his blonde wind blown locks, his piercing blue eyes laid on a certain female individual. It was the young girl from earlier! Grunting, the superstar kept a tight grasp on the cold metal of which his gloved hand was glued to.
"By the way, my name is Antique." The soft spoken girl said to him.
Feeling another hand grasp his own, Tidus then narrowed his brows as he tried his best to help the young girl out the best he could. It was already hard for himself alone to board the fleeing train. With the help of Antique, Tidus managed to board the train in a rather slow motion. With a final sigh, Tidus flopped down on the metal floor board, as his armored arm clanked against the hard surface. The sound of his necklace could be heard jangling as his chest rose and fell, due to his exertion on trying to board the train. With his eyes closed, the superstar laid sprawled out on the rear of the train as he took a second to catch his breathe.
"Lets go, we got to help her out." Tidus heard his new female friend say to him.
Opening his eyes quickly, the scene presented to Tidus was the dark sky above his head zipping past him in a quick motion. His blonde hair waved gingerly around the frame of his face as a small look of concern formed on his face. With a long blink, Tidus then lifted his head upwards, as his upper torso followed suit. Engaging the muscles in his exposed abs, Tidus then motioned his hands behind the sides of his body as he sat up. Facing the rear of the train, Tidus could see everything they were now passing. After going over what appeared to be a castle moat, Tidus couldn't help but wonder where exactly this train was heading. Bending his knee, and bringing his foot towards his body, Tidus then placed his black gloved hand on top his knee, as he used it to help himself up. Standing erect, Tidus turned as he saw the undead creatures that seemed to have appeared while him and Antique were busy pulling him aboard the train.
With a loud thud next to the two of them, Tidus jerked his head towards the source of the noise as he saw another familiar face. It was the dark haired man from before, and it looked like he managed to get aboard the train. It was just refreshing to know that three out of the four were in one place. All that was left was helping the rose haired female, like Antique insisted.
"To bad this isn't the end.... The party is just getting started." The man said aloud.
With a smirk forming on his face, Tidus liked what he was hearing. With a quick downward swipe of his hand, his blue, water themed brotherhood sword appeared in his hand as bubbles slowly floated upwards from the sharp blade. Eying the undead foes in front of him, Tidus noticed they seemed to take a certain liking to him as their glazed over iris' locked onto him. Taking a step back and throwing his free hand up in front of him, Tidus formed a curious look on his face.
"Ehh?...What the.. Z-zombies!? You have GOT to be kidding me!" Tidus said, as if he was having trouble understanding how this could be.
Keeping the smirk present on his face, the superstar then put his hand in front of Antique as he motioned her behind him. Raising his brow, a sly look formed on his face as he out stretched his arm and pointed his brotherhood at the two Angel Whisper's. The Angel Whispers were something Tidus had never seen before and they looked rather intimidating at first glace. Crouching down, Tidus then leaped off the metal ground as he ran quickly towards the two undead monsters. With each foot step came a loud metal clank under his feet as he closed the gap. Lifting his arm upwards with the brotherhood in his hand, Tidus then raised his free hand as he used it to help his aim. With a grunt, the superstar then engaged the muscles in his shoulder and upper arm, and swung the sword in front of his body. Upon the completion of his follow through, the sword became parallel with the ground as he then flicked his wrist quickly, making sure to let go of the yellow colored handle. That was it, in one swift action, the blue bladed sword cut through the air as it inserted it self into the first undead monster.
With the brotherhood stuck through the chest of the first undead monster, Tidus then took one final step as he pushed off the ground and leaped upwards in the air. With his momentum carrying him through the air, the weightless feeling enveloped his body as he looked down at the two undead. Making a mental note as he leaped over the two of them, his sword's blade was exposed through the back of the undead. Just as he planned. Flipping through the air, Tidus finally landed on the metal train as he was now behind the second undead. Not wasting any time, Tidus shifted his yellow colored boot on the ground as he then launched off the ground again, and ran towards the second monster. Quickly approaching the undead monster, Tidus cocked his armored hand back as he then launched his balled fist forward, connecting it with the face of the undead. With a splat like sound, the metal armored fist sunk into the undead's face as it forced the undead to fly backwards towards the back of the first undead monster.
With a quick motion, the second undead in which Tidus punched, collided with the first undead, as the exposed tip from Tidus' sword stabbed through the second undead as well. With both monsters stuck on the water themed blade, Tidus smiled as he watched the two of them struggle with their new weight distribution, until they finally fell to their sides and on the ground. Walking forward, Tidus grasped the yellow handle of his brotherhood. With a quick jerk, the blade freed itself from the bodies of the monsters. Flipping his wrist over, the sword's tip then landed on the metal surface of the train as he used it to lean on.
Looking at Antique and the dark haired man, Tidus produced his typical professional smile as he gave the two of them a thumbs up....

The Train hurtled past the castle as fast as it could, given that it was still under the effect of the slow spells. The minions it had called from within the train were soundly dealt with. It then screamed when Lightning used her Lightning Strike on it, inflicting the first instance of damage against the train since the whole debacle began. It swerved back and forth, the tracks following suit to keep it on its preordained path. Soon, it straightened itself out and headed for its new destination... a cliff that overlooked the sea. The tracks continued placing themselves into the ground, then made a path jutting out of the cliff before dropping down to the sea below. And the train showed no signs of slowing down, much less stopping. Soon, the train followed the tracks off the cliff and then down towards the sea. Even with the Slow and Slowga hindering his progress, nothing could stop gravity from taking hold and the train hurtled down the cliff, looking as if it was going to crash straight into the water. Then the tracks evened out and instead of crashing into the ocean, the train merely evened out and was now skimming the surface, torrents of water shooting up as it rode on the ocean, the lack of ground not even changing the path one bit.
The Phantom Train could actually be heard growling, clearly unhappy about being struck. The pustules that seemed to infect the train started to glow sinisterly and then they erupted, firing Darkness into the air. These balls of darkness then turned into the air and homed in on the heroes, at least one or two per hero. To add the mayhem, the Train sounded its hellish whistle, smoke erupting from its smokestack. The smoke, laced with the corrupting darkness, then seemed to move on its own accord and cover all the heroes in blackened pollution. The train's opponents could feel a sort of illness coming over them, damaging them slowly from the inside. It would seem that, just as the train was hindered from its schedule, it was going to impose its own time limit. Finally, the veins crawling on the train seemed to pump more darkness through the train, towards the smokestack. An orb of darkness started to take form above the smoke and it started to grow bigger and bigger. Whatever the train was preparing, everyone could feel that the Train was going to end this fight one way or another.

NOTES. Let my power surge! |
to the soldier, the civilian, the martyr, the victim.
THIS IS WAR
Lightning had barely managed to hang onto the Gagnrad as the train powered along the tracks. She pulled herself onto the train and pushed to her feet. Her rose colored hair was tossed against her face in a dance against the violent winds as the train cut through the air. The warrior tossed the blade back to Odin, dismissing the Eidolon from his duty. The white, armored steed grasped the blade in his mouth and galloped away before shattering into a cascade of crystal dust. She stood partially crouched, her left knee against the surface of the train. The warrior pushed to stand, the speed of the monstrous, possessed vehicle, causing her skirt of feathers to flutter violently against the wind. As feathers were plucked from the wingless angel she turned to look back over her shoulder toward her allies. They seemed able to get onto the train, but the undead certainly were troublesome.
“We have to keep up!” She would encourage.
It was hard enough catching the train, but now that it made visible response to their actions, which included Tidus’ Slowing spells and her Lightning spells. That was good. All they had to do was work together to bring this monster down. The ex-soldier had no qualms with working in teams, and it took her time to learn that it was equally important to take on the role of follower as it was to take on the role of leader. She turned her torso slightly and motioned to the others. She looked to them and offered confident nod. Her body shifted and pushed into a run. she drew her blade in a flurry of feathers as she took off running down along the train’s back. Her target was its smokestack. While the others were behind her she did her best to push forward. This evil had to be smote, and if they were the ones destined to do so, than so be it.
The aggravated train did not seem willing to stay quiet after being struck. It let out a growling sounding grind and, but a moment after, released a powerful attack that struck Lightning for a direct hit. The darkness in the air, that it filled with a repugnant stench, burned at her lungs and what skin she had bore to the air had been marred by the acidic rains that churned from his smokestack. Lightning felt herself panting as she ran along the train’s back. She felt her annoyance raising as the monster charged madly toward a cliff. A curse withered from the Valkyrie’s lips as the train made a mad dash for the water’s edge. With a turbulent rumble and crashing slam the warrior was pushed from her feet. She dropped to her knees. When the train seemed to even out the woman peeled open her eyes open. her leather covered hands sat upon the cold metal of the train’s back.
Letting her lids slipped closed once more she would allow her breathing to even. She poured the desperation of her situation into drawing full a spell into her palm. The tips of her fingers began to spark as her entire arm was swallowed by crackling sparks. She pulled back her hand, following through with her arm: elbow bending back. She slammed her palm to the train’s surface and released the condensed spell. A powerful Surge spell erupted from the warrior’s hand, pushing to cascade across the train and into its form. Hopefully it would be unable to disperse the charge. She stood to her feet and sighed out, gripping her blade tightly. She lashed the Overture across the train a few times in anger, strength waning from the damage incurred. She would have to depend on the others for back up.

Oh dear, when was this going to end? She would have thought that with the rose haired knight's beautiful display of power that the train would have definitely stopped by now! She stood behind Tidus as he fended off what she could only describe as "zombies" and smiled up at him. The green mage was glad that she had met him and perhaps, felt a kindred spirit--oh, now was not the time to think about things like that! Shaking her head from left to right as if to clear her mind from distractions...which was...very easy for the girl to do, she slapped her cheeks in order to make herself concentrate on the situation at hand!
But it seemed as if things were becoming dire now; she was not much of a fighter, not like her mother, but she knew when things were going to draw soon to a close. Rushing past the ever-peppy Tidus, an idea forming in that green mop of hers. She saw that the train had reacted to Lightning's attack, which meant that it...that it could be hurt. Antique did not like the idea of hurting something purposefully--even though it was a mean train...that had zombies...everything existed for a reason, and it was not quite her job to interrupt with that. But seeing the knight hurt so badly--and Antique taking on quite a bit of damage herself, she sighed.
Her mother had once told her that if you hurt someone, you hurt all of humanity. If you save one person, you save all humanity. It had brought comfort to her as a child, knowing that sometimes her mother disappeared occasionally to go help people. Her mother would come home scratched and beat up some nights, but always had a comforting smile for her child. She stood next to Lightning and smiled down at her, opening up her free hand of the Keyblade. A soft, rainbow* like light engulfed it, and then engulfed the Knight, smelling of the outside of a bakery on a summer morning. It really was payback for healing her earlier--of course she wasn't going to let something like that go to waste.
"Thank you," she whispered, and turned her attention back to the train, and closed her eyes. .
Even if this ended badly, even if things were bad, this much she knew for sure. These three people rushed in to help without even knowing the situation. There were always going to be people that were willing to help. And according to her mother...those people were blessed.
Holding the Keyblade tightly between her hands and to her lips, she whispered a prayer. She wanted to help, and that was her biggest desire. Her body glimmered with a twinkling of white light. The twinkling sprouted from her back, casting an ethereal glow of oversized wings, drawing the girl up to her tippy-toes, the only thing holding her to the ground. Striking her hands and the Keyblade high above her head, the wings flapped and turned into what seemed to be a rather gigantic sphere--and if you looked really closely, a giant, round, cake!
"Holy!**" she gasped, pointing the blade at the actual train, causing the giant sphere of energy down upon the train which quickly, upon contact, dispersed into angelic-like feathers. ------------------------------------------------------
Rainbow Cure Bread!--Cures minor wounds and "boo-boos". (Cooldown: 1) -Angel Cake--pure holy energy and as such deals holy-elemental damage to one opponent. Oh yeah, did I mention it looks like a cake? (Cooldown: 4)

Review #1 {Spoiler}Facts|Style|Sportsmanship
System Facts: Well, the train was obviously outnumbered and outmatched to begin with. However, it held up rather well to the group. Lightning summoning Odin to keep up with the train was a great idea. Especially since it was racing toward the clearing. Tidus and Antique both used their slow to get it to their speed again. *note, I hate those damn Angel Whispers. >~<* The group dispatched the enemies and directly attacked the train. In all honesty, the train seemed to have dealt more overall then the heroes did DIRECTLY onto the train. If you include the damage to the heartless onto the train, i'd say the heroes won. But, if directly to the train, it seemed to hurt the heroes more than they harmed him. - [Dark]
Style: The train was leading the raid, having a set mission from the beginning. The whole raid, the heroes are doing their best to try and keep up and stop the train while he threw heartless after heartless at them. Honestly, I think the train had the lead here. Everyone was rather in character, even though the train was talking a bit much. - [Dark]
Sportsmanship: I didn't see anyone that dodged anything in the wrong way. I actually quite enjoyed reading Antique's emotions and thoughts throughout the raid. She isn't very strong and she didn't try to portray that she was. I also want to make a note that Squall walking to catch up amused the hell out of me, especially since he wasn't exerting much energy and was able to keep up. Tidus, on the other hand, was killing himself to try and catch the train while attempting to keep Antique in the fight. - [Light]
Overall Winner Dark Review #2 {Spoiler}Facts|Style|Sportsmanship
System Facts: Yes the deadline was yesterday, but I could not get it up in then cause I was out and since the result is not yet up, I figured I could still put the review up. So here is the review now. I would have to agree with the admin. While I did see attacks upon the Heartless, the main point was to take out the train and I did not see anyone outside of Lightning actually do damage to the train. Yes getting rid of the minions are nice, but as with any boss battle if you can't harm the main body (the train in this case), the battle is lost. So due to the fact that the damage done to the train was less than the train actually dealt out, the winner is quiet clear. - [Dark] Style: The train reacted as it should in battle and so naturally, Light was the most impressive in this department. Lighting summoning Odin to catch up with the train, Antique using her wind spell to avoid the cog, Tidus using water for height to gain access to a flying enemy...these are just a few ways that the Light impressed me as far as using skills to deal with what the train was dishing out;however, due to the fact they were not really damaging the boss, I would have to say the train was the more dominate one in this battle. Despite this the Light team work was more impressive than the Dark's. - [Light] Sportsmanship: For the most part, everyone reacted in a logical way here, so the only complaint I have is the use of slow. It seemed to be used way too much in my opinion and while it is logical to give up chasing something you cannot catch, I am not impressed by no creative ways to attempt to get on the train. Still Light did work nicely together, so, but it is not enough. - [Dark] Dark
