From the strange words of the iron clad warrior there came another set of words this time from the masked boy; however, unlike the iron clad warrior's words, these words actually caught Deshi’s attention. War was a common thing to hear about and it was even more common to be pulled into it against your will. The fact that the voice had called Deshi to this place to fight what he was beginning to understand was indeed another war did not surprise the warrior. No, he simply accepted that his life was bound to bloodshed and until he could find his way in life, he’d have to continue to fight searching for his purpose and the answer to stopping the Void and the bloodshed, but for now he simply remained in the present. As the boy mentioned this Keyblade War that was approaching, Deshi eyes focused on him for only a minute. Keyblades and now a war dealing with them? Just how special was this weapon? This keyblade that seemed crop up in almost every conversation he had heard thus far? Keyblade, keybearer, hearts, memories? What did it all mean?
Deshi wanted to know the answers, but at the moment did not have time to play with puzzles as the boy changed the subject and began telling the group of heroes their punishment for not having or giving information him on Sora and whoever Ventus was. The dark boy showed exactly what he was going to do by snapping a toy sword he had found in half calling Sora weak if it had belonged to him. Hmph. The destructive type. Too common and very annoying when they had power at their back. Deshi shook his head inwardly at this before taking note of what else was happening around him.
Well, despite the destructive boy's words and actions that were only setting up the place for the storm to come, the only good thing about the situation was that Akemi had calmed down and no longer saw Desho as an enemy. Despite this the boy was still worried and even asked if they could win this battle or not. A valid question when facing foes such as the ones around them; however this question was best not pondered on too long. Regardless of the outcome, they had to try to win this battle. Deshi didn’t exactly like the idea of the place burning down nor did he like to think what would happen if they threw in the towel right now. No, whether he liked it or not this battle had to be fought with losing or surrendering not being options. They had to fight. This world was depending on them to do something for it, so it was best they did not disappoint the world by turning tail and running from the danger that sought to harm it. They needed to protect this world from whatever malicious intent their opponents brought with them.
With a temporary focus, Deshi listened to the armor man taking note that he did not appreciate Genesis's remark to his words and in turn responded back with cold words of his own. Again, Deshi was silent seeing no use for this battle of words. People could talk all day, but action was what was going to determine whether this battle was going to be a win or loss. In any case, Genesis seemed to think that they had a chance against the strange enemies that they had to deal with and even gave his student some words of encouragement before the battle truly began.
It started with the appearance of an unexpected fourth enemy made of armor that formed out of no where, making Deshi wonder if this was an unaccounted for new comer or perhaps a summon of some sort, but who had summoned the creature was beyond the calm warrior. As he saw the creature form, he took note of the strange symbol on the creature making a mental note to dig into its meaning later as he saw the creature raise a hand and fire large fireballs into the air that broke into smaller ones and rained upon the earth. Deshi tensed as for one second he thought how to avoid such an attack and perform a counter of his own, but then he heard Akemi’s voice and instead found himself stepping back as icy spikes formed and curved around himself, the boy, and Genesis creating a shield around them. Deshi heard the fireballs thudding against the shield threatening to break as they continued to rain down, shaking the ground around them. Through the blurry ice, Deshi could see the place was indeed beginning to burn as the boy had said it would. It was a terrible sight to see that brought sorrow to Deshi’s heart, but pleasure to the Void who enjoyed the chaos. Pushing his more unstable side down, he focused on what Genesis was saying.
He was giving out simple orders. Akemi was to take the Heartless who Genesis said could summon weapons and other odd things, while he was leaving the armored man to Deshi, leaving himself to deal with the strange boy in the dark mask…someone he said might be a keybearer. Now how did Genesis figure that? As curious as he was to understand Genesis’s ways of sensing things and even see the battle between this said keyblader and the crimson warrior, he understood that there were others on the field to be taken care, so he had no time for a show. In any case, Genesis made an action of his own summoning a copy of himself made of a strange dark substance that came from within Genesis. As the being stepped out from behind Genesis and focused on the suit of armor, Deshi knew the field had been even once more.
With one less thing to worry about, Deshi turned to watch as the man in armor approached the ice shield quickly.
“Yes. I’ll keep him off your backs,” he responded to Genesis’s earlier question before focusing on the armored one alone. He was making some sort of spin attack that was beginning to pull chunks of the shield towards him, breaking the shield lowly as that the wind ifrom the attacks found its way into the cracks and began tug at Deshi, but could not pull him forward with the shield there. Flicking his left hand outward, he summoned his sword to his hand only seconds before the man’s first attack hit and came through the shield. Backing away in the opposite way of the attack, Deshi managed to place himself between Akemi and the brunt of the spin attack raising up his sword to take the heavy blow. He was able to block the spinning blades, but the force of the attack left Deshi open to an unexpected double attack. The Heartless boy had decided to join the fray, joining in in a form resembling a true Heartless rather than a person anymore. The chaotic attack was able to send the calm warrior reeling back as it caught him in the chest. Following that attack was the armored man’s second one, a powerful shock wave that was able to knock the warrior to the ground. While he did not feel the pain, the combined attacks had caused cuts to appear on the young warrior that were bleeding slightly. Still despite the damage, Deshi was still in good fighting condition as he glared at the wild Heartless his eyes flashing grey for the briefest of moments as the Void wanted revenge on the creature; however, instead of giving in, Deshi pushed the Void back as he focused on the armored man who was getting attacked by his own ally. While he hated to do what he was about to do for it would leave Akemi alone with the insane Heartless if successful, Deshi knew the best option here was to take himself and his opponent to another spot on the island away in order to make this battle even once more.
Keeping himself out range of anymore of the Heartless’s attack, Deshi locked his eyes on his target not caring if the man did not wish for him to be an opponent or not. Genesis had already made his move against the strange masked boy and while the Heartless was tempting to pummel for its wild behavior, he was sure Akemi would be okay if he had the space to fight the creature alone.
So with his task in mind, Deshi moved around the Heartless careful to avoid getting hit again until he was in a position to attack the armored man with what appeared to be a simple charge; however, instead of bring his sword forward to attack. Deshi would use his momentum to slid along the ground, avoiding the Heartless’s attack and aiming for the armored man’s legs. If this plan worked the man would be distracted by the Heartless and get knocked down. Even if the man did manage to avoid both attacks the action of slidding had brought Deshi within the range he needed to be to do his next action. Remaining on the ground, Deshi formed a Corridor of Darkness around himself and let it spread in an attempt to capture the armor man. If the man was successfully caught, Deshi could remove himself and the man from this part of the beach and put them on the island with the strange tree on it to continue their battle more or less “safe” from the others. Although with fire all about it was hard to say where safe exactly was. In any case, the move would also give Akemi the space he needed to deal with the wild Heartless and give Deshi level ground to deal with the armored man alone; however, if the man was not successfully caught Deshi would still sink into his Corridor and use the dark passage for something else that could be useful…. _______________________________________________
~Cooldown~[/u] Corridors of Darkness:[/u] Not an attack just a simple way of traveling. It is mentioned because he can summon these at will and uses them to move to other places on the battlefield at times. If used to move on the battlefield, it takes 3 posts for him to summon them again.
(Bah. Ugly post. I was really tired so forgive me if this doesn't make sense. >.<)

Evil tastes the tears of fear! tearing down your helpless fate
Theme: Let it Burn Tagged: Vani, Gen, Akemi, Deshi, Gabs, Whatever Comments: This is getting interesting
There was no way to tell if anyone had been able to associate the summoning of the Unversed Trinity Armor with Vanitas, and he truly had no idea either if the Trinity Armor would be a help or hindrance. He only had small mental control, but they were their own beings, and the most he could fully count on for them was that they would not attack him unless he himself directed them to do so. Still, even if the case was that the armor would just get in his way, then he'd destroy it himself easily. He surmised that the creature would help though, in it's own weird way. He smirked beneath the opaque mask as he watched the fireballs rain down upon the three clustered enemies, some going astray and lighting the few greenery in the area. The destruction and senseless violence pleased the masked boy. Things would suit them well.
He watched as the youngest of one of them slammed the ground, ice forming around them to shield the three warriors of light, And Vanitas let out only a small “Tch.” In response. Even as the ice made a dome to protect them, Vanitas could see the fireballs slowly causing the ice to melt, combined by the temporary allies of the Man in armor and the dirty humanoid heartless. Wasn't that the heartless from the colliseum? He had thought he'd seen it there, but the colliseum was barely more than a memory for him, even with the most recent tournament. He watched as the man in armor threw forth a votrex of sorts after continuing with the words Vanitas spoke, and this pleased the boy. To have someone acknowledge such a simple truth. Vanitas rarely worked with others, simply because everyone was a stepping stone to becoming top of the food chain, but this was a man he could potentially work alongside, if only to ensure this world's destruction as but a simple warning for Sora and Ventus. I'm here. Come Find me. it would say.
There was sound from within the ice as it began to melt and crackle away, but Vanitas cared little. His Armor was the main source of power right now, but it was but a small display of his true potential. Vanitas wanted to show his true potentialo agaisnt a true warrior, and it seemed the poetic man in the crimson coat would be it. The man summoned what seemed to be a blurry second form of himself within the cage. Replication? I wonder... Vanitas thought, wondering just how much control he had over the darkness and the Unversed within him. Vanitas smirked as the man launched forth, proving the man's claims true as in a flash of dark cloud and lighting came the Void Gear keyblade, it's dark appearance a familiar to some, foreign to others. He saw the crimson man fly towards him at fast speed, then suddenly launch various fireballs of intense eat. 16 in total. Vanitas smirked in his mask and let out a “Hmph.” at the display, holding his keyblade high as the fireballs came upon him. As the first few looked to connect, bluring the image of the keybearer for the moment before their strike, Vanitas slammed his keyblade into the ground, disappearing just as the strikes connected to his former point. With luck, the man would wait till his strikes were finished, Vanitas letting his target kept in his head as he became pure darkness beneath the ground, suddenly erupting beneath the crimson poet's feet in a pillar of darkness, spinning about with his key at the head and floating briefly in the sy before backflipping to put himself on the higher ledge, on some of the wooden planks sticking out of the central tree. But there was a change, as his body was now coated in darkness, empowered by it's strength. The boy only dropped into a combat stance, keyblade overhead and pointed to the crimson man.
In the time of this happening, the Armor had noticed the second Crimson warrior coming at him, it's white suit shining in the sun as it halted the fireballs when completed. It followed the second Crimson man, the clone of sorts, and Moved to punch the man with a right hook of sorts. |

The boy tried his best to keep the spikes up so that way they could think of something. The fireballs slammed into the ice and exploded on impact. The frozen spires began to crack and melt all around them. Droplets of water fell on the top of his head as if it was some form of torture and it was driving Akemi nuts. His azure eyes looked up at the ground as Genesis quickly took charge like he normally did. The boy was to go after the heartless looking man while Deshi would fight the man in armor leaving the masked boy for Genesis. But that would leave the creature to attack everyone. How were they going to deal with the fighters AND that thing? Well, Akemi thought too soon as Genesis summoned a clone of him. Well, that was new. He didn't know he could do that. Blinking at the thing, it or he looked just like his Teacher. He wondered if it acted and spoke like him too. "Understood just be careful okay..."[/b] Akemi said as he was a bit worried. Something about that masked boy was really off. He didn't know if it was the darkness or something but that guy was really strong.
Out of no where, something hit the ice very hard and it threw Akemi off balance as he fell on to the sand. Standing up, he looked at the two. "Looks like they don't want to sit around for us to come out."[/b] The boy said as the ice was reaching its breaking point now. The cracks trailed up and down all the spikes. They all shattered as small, harmless shards of ice fell to the beach below. Genesis took off without saying anything and quickly attacked the boy.
The man in armor quickly unleashed a second wave of attacks. He covered himself in an orb of energy. It grew a bit as he knew that this wasn't going to be good. From the side, the heartless changed his appearance up a bit. Darkness covered his body and soon, his skin was black as night. It began to attack with his sword and appeared to be much more stronger than before and faster as well. Not paying attention, the orb exploded as the forced pushed Akemi back and away from the heartless's attack.
Hitting the sanding, he quickly regain composer and stood up. The force of that attack nearly knocked the wind out of him but he was fine. Deshi seemed to be okay since he used that portal of darkness. Guessed he got away in time. Focusing on the heartless, he smiled a bit. "Two can play at this game."[/b] He said as his hair began to hover in the air.
The temperature around him began to increase and soon, the heatwave could be seen around him. A circle of flame appeared on the ground below Akemi, encircling him as they began to grow. In a flash, a pillar of flames consumed the boy as a dark, monstrous silhouette was seen within the fire. A dragon-like claw reached the flames. Its taloned fingers twitched slightly before it jolted to the right. The flame were dismissed as Akemi stood there in his Fire Wyrm form. His long, snow white hair fluttered in the wind as his amber eyes locked on to the heartless. The scales on his body were ruby red and shined in the sun like gems almost. The fur that was located on his legs were navy blue and on his head was a pair of horns. A pair of wings stretched out as his tail lashed out and bashed the sand below. Without speaking, took off into the air and hovered about 14 feet in the air. Flame covered his right claw as he whirled it to his side. The flame grew and left his hand. It burst into 5 different flames and took the shape of basketball size orbs. They hovered and begun to spin around the boy. Pointing at Whatever, two launched themselves at the heartless trying to slam themselves into him. If they were to hit him, they would make a descent size explosion.

Raid #1
Sept 2, 2012 10:58:52 GMT -5
Post by gabranth on Sept 2, 2012 10:58:52 GMT -5
[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,460,true][atrb=style, background: url(http://i53.tinypic.com/a2vuas.png); padding: 5px; text-align: justify; color: #202020;] Gone were the days of silent peace on this island, to be met but with the embrace of warfare once again, a palm tree teaming with smoke as it rose up to join and merge with the clouds. Only to be defended with a handful of warriors that without question took orders from the one, who only seemed to outrank them due to dominence, than by power or even experience. Such had to be the work of a organized group, or even that of a master of combat and his apprentices. And yet, it was not this island that they were really defending, for the attack did not come upon the island at all but only caught in the crossfire. Merely, it was in self-defense, the conflict having been brought upon themselves. And for what reason had this been wrought, for the answer was simple, and while it was the masked boy's to deliver a threatening message to others, for the man once known as Noah von Rosenburg is was a test to temple their skill... one of the right of survival for their very lives.
The battlefield smoked around him once again from l, his appointed enemy in his sights, but once again he would be dishonored. The chosen target spun words of unfounded encouragement to his apparent subordinates, before leaping up and away from his Vortex of Judgment, supposedly the effect of pulling him in towards the Judge having no effect on him whatsoever due to the technique. Was he immune to gravity, had no weight that he would be drawn into the spiraling blades, or did he have magicks that surpassed it to cheat himself of harm? Whatever the case, he had ignored the effects somehow of Gabranth's vortex which would have pulled him back down from the air, and gone to challenge the helmeted boy. However, his subordinates would not fair so immune to his vaccum-like attack, and the now identified boy in white would block his attacks. The other boy also somehow miraculously avoided being drawn into the Magister's attack without being sucked in, although Gabranth had managed to crack his icicle shield, chucks of ice being drawn all around the knight and orbiting him.
Who were these people to simply discard his full force upon them, as if it were nothing worthy to take note? How dare they show such ignorance to his technique, as if an ability of his which absorbed in as much force as a small black hole were nothing to take note of, they should not have such the luxury to turn their eye. If the laws of physics were realistic, those that had evaded his suction would now be drawn in by it, and they would be cut into threefold for their naivety. Gabranth would take note to disregard any powerful abilities of theirs, and make them see how irritating it must feel to shrug them off as if for naught. The idea of a whirlwind of blades into their defiant hides as a forethought, however, was a much more appealing visual and something he would strive towards in doing to ensure the end of this battle.
How were these supposed heroes negating the damage of his techniques, how had his suction spiral had no effect on all of them save one, was something unfathomable he could not ascertain. They would feel the full fury of his wrath for defying his judgment, as his Hatred came in shockwave form, the floating hunks of ice sent scattering out every which way. The man in crimson out of range, the two boys would be knocked back from the assault, and hopefully the boy wrathed in darkness as for some reason he came for all three of them. Gabranth could see the fury in his eyes; it was not a emotional one, but an aura he could recognize of the spell Berserk, and one that would not stop him from attacking foe but should not allow him to attack friend either. However, the Archadian could use this to his advantage. If his Hatred shockwave did not knock the boy in rags away, then as Gabranth landed and raised his sword at the man in crimson, he would lower it to block both his Berserk rage and the boy in white's sliding assault to his feet. Next, having caught the blade of the two-handed sword from the former, he would parry it with applied force from his swallow-blade and push the blade of the unknown Heartless towards the sliding young man. Turning it on him, Gabranth readied himself to turn on who he considered to be his worthy adversary than having to maim children, but was not prepared for what came next.
Or perhaps he would honor strikes of their sword upon his hide, and take it upon himself to show them how a true man would fight, to shoulder the burden of pain and writing agony upon his fatigue. Such lessons should be taught to these young men who looked younger than he, that a true man would endure hardships such as the fell of the enemy's blade, to show strength of character growing through pain. If his opponent could land such a effective strike upon him, however. The armor he wore was for defensive purposes, but more than anything it was a status symbol in his world as the highest ranking officer in the Arcadian army. If it came to it, and he became battle damged, he would discard his armor and show them that power. But true power came not from what someone wore, but what wrived inside them, something he saw that strived to break free deep within the boy in white's eyes. But what did it really mean to strive, and to fight for what one deeply believed in as his brother had said, with something so loathing and vehement in one's heart? That was for the judge to know, and his attacker to find out.
He could see it in this boy's eyes and it was no enchantment; no, this was a darkness in this boy's heart driven by emotion. Fury, anger, hatred. Darkness spread around him and extended, sliding underneath his armored feet, and he felt himself sinking through. As the world and light of the islands fell away, as he was surrounded and completely eclipsed by darkness, another light came like the end of a tunnel as he recognized the island once more for him to fall through. He leaned forward the opening and landed on his feet, swiveling around, and immediately shot out an Aero spell to completely cover the exit opening he had just come through. "You won't be keeping me from anything, boy, but embrace that light in your heart as that fury of yours is no match for mine." he alluded cryptically at the younger male coming through the Dark Corridor coming after him. His wind spell keeping him busy, he turned to see where he was, and identifying the nearby bridge as the one he had come from looked down to see the other warriors on the beach below. Foolish boy, for he had attempted to teleport him, but not far enough to escape the far reach of the Judge Magister.
Judgment be upon you. He leaped from the paopu island to return back to the battlefield whence he came, and as he landed, slammed his swords down onto the ground. Much like Cloud's Bladebeam, only a fiery-orange, faster and twice as destructive, Gabranth's Gaia Breach exploded from the impact point outwards in a line towards not Deshi, but Genesis' clone. The armored one knew very well that this was the clone of the man, and while he had marked out the original as the one that would fall first before him to inspire fear into the other younger men, he was now engaged in fickle combat with the boy in red and black that was on his side. He did not want to risk interupting a decided one-on-one duel and have that boy attack him as well, but the crimson leader's copy was a different story, and he would first make a mockery of him before cutting down his master to assist the larger armored summon. He would prove that, just as much as he had proven the white-haired boy had failed in 'keeping him off his back' to make an example of how pathetic his orders and men were, and just because these so-called heroes of Light honored solo duels did not mean he had to play by their shameful rules.
He had fought one verses six before, and again after that, only turning sides and attacking the true threat to Larsa Solidor when he recognized it was indeed his brother Vayne. Often he had wondered how his twin brother Basch had kept his honor, and refused at the time to believe his answer, to stick true to fight to protect what he believed in. He had done so and protected Larsa, only to fall to Vayne to be betrayed and unassisted by his sibling and his sniveling crew. He had all his pride and honor stripped from him as he died that day, and he would not make that mistake of being betrayed once again. This time he would do his best to be on the stronger and winning side, to keep his alliances in check until they had been weakened and no longer suited him as a rogue judge, and would fight and attain victory by his own rules and not that of someone else's beign beliefs.
"More a man than you." he snickered at the true Genesis as he fought, watching his clone he had just attacked, bringing his double-edged blades to bear defensively. The Judge Magister would not fight for others, but rather for himself, to gain true self-respect. Something more than fighting for one's honor, or for love of what one could inevidably not defend, or to test one's strength in battle. No, the reason for Gabranth's fighting was a epiphany far greater than all of those things, something he considered to be far more greater. Having become vastly self-aware of his significance no longer shackled to that of a master as these pathetic dogs were, even the one in crimson to his idealistic self-confidence, he would arise upon the only the only verdict which would matter in the end.
Survival. --- Aero: Casts a tall twister that homes slowly towards the opponent. Cooldown is one turn.
Gaia Breach: A thin shockwave of orange-red energy, that shoots forward and tracks along the ground rapidly towards the opponent, when Gabranth slams a sword down upon a flat surface. Cooldown is three turns.
Vortex of Judgment: One turn remaining.
Hatred: Two turns remaining.

Raid #1
Sept 2, 2012 13:52:28 GMT -5
Post by genesis on Sept 2, 2012 13:52:28 GMT -5
Genesis had no idea what was going to happen during this battle between the Light and Dark. All he could really hope for was to trust in his allies as well as believing in his own powers and hope that it was enough to allow himself, his student and his white-haired friend to see the sun rise the next day. The Crimson SOLDIER knew he had combat powers that were not going to be so easily defeated. When that power came to blows with the strength of a Dark Keybarer though, everything changed. While Selena 'Artemis' Wolfsong has lost to the SOLDIER 1st Class during both the tournaments he had entered and won, the female Keybarer was unable to keep up despite doing her best. This guy though, the lad in the red and black armour felt much more sinister then 'Artemis' had, so whether his attacks would be fueled further by the strength of how great his Darkness was, was unknown. It wasn't really his own safety Genesis was worried about, for if he got hurt and wounded, it was his own fault. What of Akemi and Deshi though? Was it right for him to give out the orders? It was better then just sitting in the middle of the opposition and allow them to attack from all sides. He wondered how they felt about it? Deshi was probably either saddened to be dragged into battle once more, while on the other side of the coin, the white-haired warrior's 'darker' side was probably savoring every moment! Akemi was still a student and while he had his own powers and spells, the SOLDIER had to wonder if he was ready, mentally, to experience a fight as serious as this one.
But after those thoughts passed, the auburn-haired man just smiled to himself and shook his head from side to side. What was with all the doubts? He trusted his friend and his student and he believed that they were going to do just fine. If not, they were only going to grow stronger for the next encounter. What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger, as they say. The saying, when run through the SOLDIER's head once more, caused a wider smile to appear on his lips. Akemi and Deshi were going to become very capable warriors, he was certain of this. Though it was strange... while he believed in and trusted his allies during this encounter with the enemy, there was a strange feeling floating through the air, like a whisper in the wind. It felt... whiny... upset... powerless. Whatever could that be? How strange, but it was not important anyway.
The greatest threat that faced the warriors of Light was standing right before the SOLDIER 1st Class. Red and black armour, a powerful darkness aura feeling as if it were literally choking the air and light around him. The boy had summoned his weapon but it came as no surprise. There was just something about this boy that felt alike to both the world they stood on as well as to the other Keybarers the SOLDIER had crossed paths and blades with. The Keyblade was a strange shape though, perhaps because it was reflecting the wielder in a way? Genesis knew little of what a Keyblade was beyond the basics, but what he did know, was enough information to know that these weapons were dangerous and powerful items of war. Not just war though... their strength went far, far beyond simple warfare. While most of the Keybarers the LOVELESS Fanatic had met were young children, in their teenage years, they still had great power and skill when it came to wielding a Keyblade. This black and red armoured boy was going to be a great challenge.
As the Flashes rocketed through the air, all twisting and turning towards their target, Genesis looked on from behind as at least the first 4 all collided into one another at the same spot. At first glance, it looked and felt as if they had all found their mark, but it was only when the remaining Flashes all shot out opposites sides of the fiery eruption did the SOLDIER 1st Class know that his target was no longer in the same place. Had he bitten off more then he could chew with this character? Was his speed so great that he could move within the blink of an eye? To others, that may have come across as worrying, perhaps even terrifying, but to the LOVELESS Quoter, the thought of someone with speed greater then Sephiroth's excited him. The darker side of the SOLDIER making itself know only to Genesis himself, but he smirked and relished in the subtle boost of adrenaline he felt shoot through his body.
The feeling was fleeting for something happened beneath him. Genesis, keeping his brightly glowing blue eyes on the fiery ball of heat before him, had raised his left arm up, leather coat creaking about his shoulder as he clasped his fingers into a fist, regaining control of his remaining 12 Flashes and sending them all rocketing skywards like shuttles heading for the stars, up and away from the other heroes and enemies. A sharp sting shot through the SOLDIER's chest and after reopening his eyes from the impact, Genesis watched as the world was suddenly spinning about him. It took a second before he realized he was flying upwards himself, the 'uppercut' style Dark Eruption from the Keybarer catching him cleanly both with Darkness and Keyblade as the main weapon. Throwing his arms out either side, Genesis halted his rotation and gathered his balance before looking down upon the beach from his raised advantage point, eying everything he could before his descent began.
A smirk spread across his lips as he sent a quick glance to his chest to see a where the blow had caught him. The hit stung, but thankfully due to the design of the Keyblade, no serious wounds were caused. He didn't hold it from the boy to be able to cause some serious wounds though. He wasn't going to lie. It hurt. With the wind now dancing through his hair and causing his coat to flail out behind him wildly, Genesis threw his left arm forth down towards the Dark Keybarer. Opening his hand into a palm, the ascending 12 Flashes turned about and begun to plummet. As quickly as they traveled skywards did they come back down, all the fireballs hurtling past the SOLDIER down towards Vanitas. However, they didn't track him anymore. Instead, they all smashed down towards Vanitas and the sand covered island like artillery fire. The sea breeze picked up and blew the dust and disturbed sand out to sea where afterwards, Genesis himself landed back down upon Paopu Island with a soft thud, as if stepping down off the curb over plummeting several feet. Smirk still etched across his lips, the SOLDIER nodded his head towards his opponent and spoke with a pleased tone to his voice. "Very good. You have speed and technique. What else can you do?"
---
Across the battlefield, the Clone's clod blue eyes watched the large suit of armour as it completed it's fiery attack. It lowered it's huge metallic arm before the suit of armour turned to look down upon the Clone. As the larger Tin Man sent in an attack in the form of a large fist, the Clone had took it's eyed off the Unversed and had glanced off towards the smaller Tin Man, watching as a orange attack zipped across the beach towards it. The Clone didn't move. It only blinked and did nothing more other then shift it's arms. Pushing it's Rapier out to the side, the Clone pressed his shoulder against the blade's flat edge and then stood still. A metallic clatter echoed across the beach as the fist of the Unversed crashed into the small defending Clone. The impact was enough to throw the twin Crimson SOLDIER away and out the path of the smaller Tin Man's attack, which whistled by harmlessly. Crashing down onto the beach from the hook of the Unversed, the Clone darted back up to it's feet before returning full attention to the larger Tin Man. With no emotion appearing on it's face at all, the Clone took off in a sprint, dashing across the beach and skidding to a full halt right beside the Unversed's right foot. Here, the Clone crouched down then leaped up in a swift clockwise spin. After a single full rotation, the Clone lashed out with Twister Strike
[/color] towards the Unversed's metallic boot, hoping the knock back effect would be strong enough to topple the suit of armour over. Even the Judge's attack seemed to have little effect on them, which was confusing as the Heartless did feel drawn in with the vortex when he had jumped into the fray.
The boy that was supposed to fight him had fallen in the sand and started to shift form. Not giving one crap about the boy's abilities nor what was going on with the fights, the Heartless had no longer much of a mind and rushed at the boy as two fire orbs slammed into his body. Despite that the Heartless came to a halt for a moment when the orbs hit him and his feet slided a bit back over the ground, the Heartless simply continued with his charge forward.
Then all of a sudden, he swung the large greatsword downward, through the sand and threw a lot of sand into the air as if to make a smokescreen of some sort, behind it, the Heartless started to move sidewards to the left as he started to slide down. Pushing all his weight in his attack, he attempted a strike from the left to cleave Akemi in two. If defended, the Heartless, if he had the ability to think straight, would've thought to send the boy at least flying due to the strength he placed behind the attack.

Raid #1

((Sorry to hear that Whatever. Hope you get better and it is good to see you again.))
While Genesis and the masked boy fought, the summoned armor and the clone did their own dance. If the battlefield had been a bit calmer, perhaps the white haired warrior would’ve stopped to observe what the crimson warrior and his apprentice could do. Study their actions and learn how they worked in a true battle, gaining for himself precious information that could’ve been used later to counter them should they meet on the opposite ends of the battlefield; however, the battlefield was far from calm, giving no room for observation.
While Genesis and his clone kept their respective partners at bay, being in the trapped between the powerful armored man and the wild Heartless was a more difficult battle to work around…at least in Deshi’s mind it was. He wasn’t sure how, Genesis managed to escape damage from the attacks of the armored man, but he assumed that whatever skill his friend had used to go for the masked boy had saved him from the pull of the blades that even behind cracking ice pulled at him. Also, it would seem the man’s student was pretty resilient too, only getting bumped around by the attacks and getting lucky when the shock wave knocked the boy out of the Heartless’s wild attack pattern. As interesting and odd this resistance to attacks were, Deshi didn’t question it too much as he focused instead on the armored man. He attempted to slid in to attack the man’s legs in order to trip him up only to find himself having to think quickly as the man used his blade to turn the wild Heartless’s attack against him. As he slid, he would quickly stab his sword into the ground behind him, yanking himself to a halt before quickly rolling away from the large blade that was coming for him. As he rolled, he pulled his own sword out of the ground, feeling the wind of the large blade as it passed his body by mere inches. As it hit the ground, he heard the thud of the weapon as it met the earth and felt the ground tremble as grains of sand peppered him as they were disturbed from the ground by the heavy blow that just missed him.
That had been too close and another reason for him to get himself and the armored man away from the Heartless and Akemi. If the man had turned one attack against him, he didn’t want to see what the man would do to turn his own attacks Akemi. No, it was better to be away from the boy and play this one-on-one. As he got to his knees, he unleashed his Corridor along the ground and stretched it towards the nearby foe, hoping to catch him in the Darkness. He was not disappointed. He was pleased to see that at least the Corridor had caught the armored man, causing the pair to sink into the Darkness that blotted out the light, smells, and sounds of battles for a second and then brought them back again as the exit opened. He saw that the armored man was able to land on his feet before he spoke some words, telling Deshi he would not be keep him from anything, telling him to embrace the light within him because his rage was no match for his own. The words were odd, but Deshi had no time to think on what the man was talking about for the armored foe quickly turned about and unleashed a large, yet slow moving vortex of air towards him that did not look pleasing to run into.
This in turn forced Deshi to push away thoughts on the comment for now in order to quickly react to the threat coming. Quickly, he called upon the earth to defend him forming a ball of rich earth around him as he continued to fall. He felt the impact of the wind attack, felt it tearing at the shield trying to get to him, but failing and then there was the solid impact of earth meeting earth as his fall ended. He had landed in a crouch within the ball, letting gravity tell him which way the ground was, so when he stood and the shield fell away leaving dark earth all around him he was well balanced on his feet. Deshi stood for still for a moment, surveying the smokey and heated scene. He wasn’t sure what happened to Akemi, but it looked like the boy had taken another form and was in a vicious battle with the Heartless, but seemed to be holding his own nonetheless. Genesis was still holding his own ground against the boy and armored man? He had turned his back on Deshi, leaped off the island, and was now attacking the clone of Genesis since the real one had brushed his first challenge away. If the armored man felt offended by the action and was using this attack to get back at the real Genesis, then he had made a grave error and no it was not underestimating the clone. It was not staying to have the one-on-one battle with Deshi. The Void had already been stirred up for a while now, itching to get out into the action; however, Deshi had managed to keep it pushed back, but now that the armored man had given him the cold shoulder, a small bit of agitation went through Deshi as he reflected on both the failed plan and also for this warrior's nerve to just brush him off. Was he saying he was not worth his time then or was he simply saying he would not play by the code of honor and leave this one-on-one? A yes to either option was no good in Deshi’s head and in that moment of agitation with the armored warrior facing away from him, the Void was able to slip out just a bit. Deshi’s right eye turned grey as his aggression level increased, but yet he still remained calm since the Void had not completely taken over, his expression becoming emotionless.
“Infuriating man,” he said in a toneless voice to no one in particular as his eyes locked on the armored man whose back remained to him. He wondered what was under that armor and how good the man was at avoiding damage. Deciding to test how good the man was, Deshi kneeled down, placing his right hand on the ground as he called once more upon the earth to aid him. In an instant, the ground around him began to tremble angrily before four pillars of solid earth were shooting up from under the armored man attempting to hit him and knock him into the air. Regardless, if they were successful or not, Deshi would quickly move from his spot on the island unfazed by the shaking as he made his way towards the armored man, using the pillars as cover. As he neared, he’d jump into the air using first the side of the third pillar and then the side of the rising forth to gain extra height as he shot into the air and let himself sail high into the air before doing a flip in the air, positioning himself so that he was in a jump potion with mid-air as he raised his sword high above his head before bringing it downward as he let himself fall with gravity’s pull. If the armored man had been launched, then Deshi would meet him with a heavy downward slash that had enough force behind it to perhaps dent that armor of his and add onto the damage that would happen if the armored foe hit the ground at the end of it all; however, if the armored man had somehow avoided damage and being knocked into the air then he’d have only have a heavy downward slash to deal with….

Update on Deshi’s Mood: Half Point: Deshi and the Void are fighting for control. In this mood, Deshi remains calm, but his aggression is high. He won’t turn into the Void unless he is continued to be pushed to the edge through agitation or more injuries.
~ Corridors of Darkness: 2 posts.
~ In response to Aero, Deshi used his the elemental shield of earth to cancel out the damage from the attack. 4 posts cooldown.
~ Earth:[/u] These aren’t ropes, but instead four pillar that attempt to hit targets from underneath. If hit, they cause moderate physical damage and if you are light enough to be tossed upward by the pillar, you’ll be taking more damage if you hit the ground. This one has a 3 posts rest.

Evil tastes the tears of fear! tearing down your helpless fate
Theme: Let it Burn Tagged: Vani, Gen, Akemi, Deshi, Gabs, Whatever Comments: Who says Dark plays fair?
The tactic had worked. It had at least potentially taken this poetic warrior down a peg to have landed a rather painful blow upon him. But that was far from the worst the boy named Vanitas could do. Oh he could easily bring out his worst, but no, the man didn’t diserve to hear the Last Word yet. Vanitas was like a cat, and playing with your prey before it’s eventual death pleased him much more than simple killing. To be able to take this warrior down a notch, down a peg, down a whole ledge, would be much more pleasing to this keybearer, all leading to the eventual begged for death. And then, only then, would Vanitas give mercy. Maybe.
The flashes that hadn’t struck him were redirected. Vanitas had glanced his head skyward to see them as they descended. Ten, maybe more. He couldn’t count them as before, needing to move quick to dodge them. One nearly landed right on top of him, the boy leaping back at an angle and spinning, his key blade connecting with another to lessen the damage and disperse the effect, but feeling the sting from the flare still hit him. A second time he leapt, hoping to dodge. Four times in total did he manage to not dodge the flames, but each four had been a connection with his key blade, and therefore lessened damage as he sliced the flares in half and dispeared the damage. It stung, and Vanitas needed to take a second to catch his breath, but only a second. Long enough to notice the warrior speak to him, a hint of pleasure in his voice. Did he find this fun? Good, then it would be fun for the both of them as Vanitas crushed him like a bug.
“Nothing so fancy,” he commended back, though the voice hadn’t come from where he appeared to be standing to Genesis. Utilizing speed yet again, Vanitas this time had appeared to sound as though he were coming from directly behind Genesis, something further enforced by the sudden attempt at a three strike combo. The first strike was an upward slice, from right hip to left shoulder. Followed after was a quick horizontal arc slice across the lower back, key teeth out. Finally, the key blade would be brought back above Genesis, aimed to strike downward in quick speed as with the others, but infused with lightning that crackled over the key blade, making his strike fuled by both darkness and Thunder magic. Without missing a beat, once the combo was finished, Vanitas would bring his kyeblade back up to stance and let gravity take effect to drop down to the beach, landing on sand and watching his dancer in this tango. He could hear from behind his Unversed Armor, the strikes against it being felt by the boy and serving to further empower him. What’s more, it sounded as though the armor had decided that due to the nature of the strike, it would split apart into three separate, smaller pieces, the head, torso, and legs. While the legs and head focused on the Clone, it seemed the torso would turn it’s attention to Deshi, intercepting the boy’s downward slice in favor of protecting it’s fellow Tin Soldier of Gabranth.

Raid #1

Akemi watched as his attack worked. The two fiery orbs collided with the Heartless. They exploded upon contact with his body as they released their energy. A bit of sand filled the air as the explosion went off. Was he gone? Was the Heartless dead like the other ones? As the moment passed, his thoughts were wrong. Whatever dash through the sand toward him, looking unharmed by the attack. Was he that strong? Akemi was a bit shocked to see that his attack seem to not even phase the creature. But like most heartless, they don't show pain or any kind of emotions. They are just killing machines that will do anything to finish their prey.
Surprised by the actions that followed, Akemi was blinded by the attack. Whatever had made a smokescreen with the sand as he slammed his great sword onto the beach. Some sand fellow into his eyes as he quickly began to rub them. Dang, that was a smart move. Looking away, this vision was blurred. This wasn't good. Turning to the left, he was sneak attacked by Whatever and had no time to defend properly. Holding up his claw to the blade, one of the three remaining orbs jolted to his aid and took the cleaver. Holding the attack in place for a few seconds, it began to pulsate and soon. BOOM!! It exploded and sent Akemi back a bit as his wings took most of the impact once they wrapped around him at the last second.
While flying back from the force, the last two circled around and attacked the Heartless from both sides. Akemi hoped that his attack would work. Opening his wings, the boy skidded across the sandy beach. Standing there, he tried to focus on the Heartless but his vision was still impaired thanks to the last attack Whatever did. He couldn't risk flying into something with his eyes like this so he had to try his best to fight and defend until his eyes were better. Rubbing his eyes, They began to water slowly as they were trying to fix his vision. This was going to take a minute or too. Praying to whoever could hear him, the boy wished that his last attack stunned the creature, if not he was a sitting duck.

The palm trees smoldering with smoke were now teaming with fire, as if orange and red flags waving in the air as the sign of warfare. The flora had been caught alight by the fiery attack from the Judge Magister, watching as the clone cleverly used the armored monstrousity's attack as leverage to escape his attack. Not a bad choice of evasion, and Gabranth would have to take note of how clever the figmentations of the man in the red cloak were in comparison to the original. Also what was up in the air besides the fire and smoke was the sudden smack of the earth rising up beneath him just after the lurched forward, columns of ground smashing him in the chest, sending him flying unexpectedly into the air. This might be reminescent to the black and red boy of another simular battle long ago, but to the rest of them, the judge had been momentarily launched into the air.
As he flew, the Judge twisted himself around to face the attacker, only guessing that it had to be the boy he had left to his spell and had somehow gotten around his Aero attack. He had expected an attack to follow, but perhaps not one of this... magnitude. But yes, a spell like this was close to what he wanted out of the boy. A solid attack that the earth raged and broke apart in fury, land crumbling off around it like anger curling off the brow of a man. Had the white-haired rat heeded his words? He twisted as his cape unfurled the grand colors and symbol of Arcadia, as the boy came down for a strike, but he was suddenly saved by a large part of what looked like the torso of the giant armored monster.
Had the monster been defeated, and they were unfairly down a solider? No, the beast was unfolded and moved about with a will of it's own in such a way that it was like haunted armor, a breastplate of which had willingly strike out to unexpectantly give him defense in which to launch and strike back from. Recovered, Gabranth brought the Chaos Blade and Highway Star combined swallowblade vertically before him, and for a moment in time a fiery orange aura flared and branched off from around his body armor. Charged, he then unleashed hell in the form of four sickle blades of energy as he floated around the a-Armor, sending Innocence towards the earthen warrior as they tracked and arched towards him. The recoil of such power pushed him back as he flipped and landed on his feet, sand billowing from under leaden foot everywhere, the grit settling as the armored knight's cloak was revealed and billowed around him.
It was time to gain vengence upon the clone of the man who disgraced him, while he held off the joke of the boy that was trying to seperate him in a one-on-one battle. Hoping the torso armor would fend the boy off a moment longer, he came in behind of the crimson-cloaked illusion while it was distracted by the other two armors before him, breaking apart his swallowblade to make a dastardly fast initial strike. The strike was only part of the attack, however, as soon as it would make a connection then the judge would slash apart reality in a diagonal strike around the doppleganger, creating a instantaneous void. The void would soon collapse and ignite itself in a fiery and decimating explosion, in the form of Execution, otherwise known as Guilt to any who may have witnessed it. If the summoned copy somehow avoided the attack once again, the blade would still be used as a instantaneous block should it counter-attack, and the Arachadian hoped that b-Armor and Y-Armor would move in on a joint attack to take advantage pincer-movement as a way to complete it or even as a distraction.
From being thrown up into the air, the Judge had battle-damaged armor now, and some had crumbled off to show bits and pieces of the man underneath. He stepped back however, not a weakening nor stumble in his footing, seperated blades in both hands and ready for anything that would come next. He continued to step back, making sure he got both the armors, the crimson clone and the white-haired rodent in his sights. He would not be caught-off guard again, and he would continue to bring out the vengence in the boy's heart. Maybe even before he destroyed the clone, and dominated this battlefield.
This was war, after all.
---
(OOC: If this is my last post before the end of next week, thank you everyone that particiated and made this a great epic raid.)
Innocence: Gabranth slashes his twin swords forth after being instantly charged with a transparent energy similar to Hatred, and with each of the four slashes, a sickle-shaped blade of energy is thrown forth. The blades are wide as the average person is tall, and can track the target slightly, but not as such as that the blade would change direction from it's original path. While he is firing this, he cannot be interupted from its execution, as the blades also guard him from weak melee and spell powers but not strong ones (such as limit breaks), but the few seconds on which he charges this he is vulnerable to any fast attacks beforehand as consequence. Three post cooldown.
Guilt/Execution: Gabranth steps forward to swipe at the targeted opponent, and this action attempts to very briefly stun the target so he can follow up by slashing diagonally at the air around/through them to unleash a massive fiery explosion. The initial slashing action can also block a opponent's weak attack, but he is vulnerable to damage while excuting the explosion, but this cannot interupt said execution. Three turn cooldown.
Aero: Finished cooldown.
Gaia Breach: Two turns remaining.
Vortex of Judgment: Finished cooldown.
Hatred: One turn remaining.

Raid #1

Post by genesis on Sept 10, 2012 15:33:28 GMT -5
War never changed. Everything had suddenly turned chaotic. While this was perhaps an intentional ploy put into motion from those lingering with Darkness, it didn't come as a surprise to the Crimson SOLDIER to witness it. It happened every time. The only way one could ever hope to achieve an honurable one-on-one duel was to fight said opponent alone; no allies on either side. Still, beggars can't be chooses and when it came to war, the best thing one could hope for would be to see the light of the sun rising the next day. While Genesis himself wasn't worried, he continued to hold mixed emotions over his two colleagues doing battle with the other users of the Dark. The Keybarer was too dangerous to take attention off of, so he'd have to use his extra set of eyes and ears in the form of his clone to look out for his promising student and his friendly sparring partner. One thing that was decided however, was that Akemi and his Master would have to up their training considerably. If enemies as powerful as these three were showing up together in groups, it was only going to be a matter of time before The Chosen One found allies and build an invincible alliance.
The fiery artillery-style attack had worked somewhat against the Dark Keybarer. While only a handful of the Flashes found their intended target, the damage caused was minor, partly due to the spell being blocked as well as very few connecting with the enemy. But that would be no fun at all if someone as formidable and dangerous as this young boy fell to a simple spell such as Flash. If under different conditions, Genesis knew he would thoroughly enjoy battling this young man until the pair of them collapses from exhaustion. There was no better way to learn about your enemy then to cross weapons with them. Time was not a luxury today however. This world needed to be saved and so, it was time to step up his game.
A reply came from the black and red armoured boy who in the same moment had vanished before the SOLDIER's eyes. That wasn't teleportation. There was no audio clues or lights or effects to signify it. No, the Keybarer used speed and speed alone to take the LOVELESS Fanatic's flank. Very impressive, but if all he was were simply speed, then he had already lost this battle. A small and subtle smirk crept across Genesis' lips as he closed his eyes for but a second. With sand crunching and grinding underfoot, the auburn-haired man threw himself to his right, spinning on the spot over step-stepping or rolling away. Steel sung majestically as a long crimson blade appeared from out of a burst of flame escaping the SOLDIER 1st Classes right palm. Slicing through the flame and air, the Rapier of the SOLDIER and his Clone clattered against the metal of the Keyblade rushing towards his back. Instead of directly blocking however, Genesis had twisted his wrist upon contact and used the Keybarer's own momentum to slide the Keyblade away from his body, parrying the blow away over directly stopping it.
The following attacks were mimicked as accurately as he could. The diagonal slash was met with Rapier traveling in the opposite direction, glancing the sharp steel edge across the shaft of the Keyblade to flick it up and change it's direction enough to cause the teeth to slice a hair's width across the top of his head. The final strike from the black and red boy would have been very easy to punish with a simple forward thrust of the long, slender Rapier into the Keybarer's chest or stomach, but this WAS a Keybarer and his speed was already greater then most other enemies and allies Genesis had the pleasure and dismay to cross blades with. Shifting his feet, the black leather boots scuffed backwards through the loose sand as the third strike from Vanitas came crashing down. He felt the static of the thunder-infused Keyblade tickle his eyelashes and pull at his hair slightly as it zipped past. Using his back step to dodge the blow, Genesis applied the brakes before suddenly stabbing his Rapier forth, trying to slide the thin blade of the crimson weapon through the spokes/holes that made the pattern just below the Keyblade's teeth.
Not trying to hit Vanitas at the same time, the SOLDIER simply needed to incapacitate him for but a second. During this second, the auburn-haired SOLDIER had brought back his left arm to his waist, hand twisted about and fingers gripped as if holding an invisible ball. Mush the same as Flash, the action signified a magical attack but instead of a bright, fiery orange sphere spawning within his hand, this time it was blue and white. A white core with blue flames burning furiously. "I guess I don't have to worry about you then." Genesis answered the Keybarer as he threw his left arm forwards, leather coat creaking quickly as a powerful blast of Energy
[/b] erupted from the SOLDIER's palm, heading directly for the Keybarer's chest/neck area should Genesis' attempt to mometraily 'trap' have succeeded. Should the spell touch Vanitas' body or the ground around him, the large blue/white ball of flame would erupt into a violent explosion, covering at least 20 feet with a blast that would effortlessly knock a grown man off his feet. --- Upon the beach, the Clone of the SOLDIER looked on as it's Twister Strike struck it's target but was ineffective at tumbling the large suit of armour to the ground, all due to it splitting about an instant before the attack struck. There was no emotion upon the Clone's face. Nothing to show it's disappointment if it even knew how to feel such a thing. No, the Clone looked on and brought it's Rapier up to eye level which was then held horizontally before itself. Placing it's left hand upon the base of the blade, it was about to Imbue the Rapier with magical strength to increase it's attack power, but instead, the Clone's eyes shifted when it spotted movement. It wasn't coming from the suit of armour or the Heartless boy, no. It was a reflection within the blade of the Rapier of the smaller Tin Man approaching from behind to attack. There was no time to stall. The larger Tin Man could wait as the wing upon the Clone's back extended itself to full span before beating a single time. The action was enough to both rocket the Crimson Clone up into the air as well as kicking up a large enough cloud of sand to potentially blind anyone who had stumbled into it or were swallowed by it. Within the air and copying it's creator, the Clone raised it's left hand as a ball of blue and white flame appeared within it's grip. With glowing blue eyes focused on what was below him, the Clone thrust it's palm down and unleashed it's own Energy down onto the beach, causing a second, large explosion of magic to rupture the beach and blast away anything caught within it's wide, 20-foot diameter reach. Energy[/b] - 3 Posts. -- A huge and bright fiery ball with a light blue aura appears within Genesis’ left hand and can be thrown in any direction with tremendous speed to try and hit the enemy. Unlike his Flash spell, Energy is unguided and cannot move from a straight path. When the ball of Energy hits something, it explodes in a large and violent eruption, damaging anything within radius with pure, untapped energy magic. The attack covers around 15 feet when it explodes, blasting away anything to be caught within.Clone Energy[/b] - 3 Posts -- See above.
