With a single drop of a black feather, Sephiroth had appeared on a near by cliff that overlooked a small town. The Angel was wearing his normal attire, with his two wings bent low. Almost touching his ankles, and his famous One wing on his back. His green eyes peered down. He was rather curious about this planet. The people who inhabited it seemed so weak and out classed.
Should he attempt to sacrifice it? No it was too early for that. The One Winged Angel needs to find his Remnants first. Those three were the only ones he has a great amount of respect for. Not to mention they would surely help him right? Well its not like it matters. Sephiroth could single handedly annihilate this planet right now. After he finds his Remnants, the next step is to find Cloud.
Once he beats that pathetic little emo boy, it will all be for the taking. However, with his new found resurrection he needed to do something to entertain himself. Perhaps, He should go on the hunt? The Chosen one hadn't had a good fight in the longest time. His fighting lust only made him anxious. Or maybe he should wait to fight Cloud? There was so many options for him to do, but which path should he take?

Snow and coldness. That is what greeted the darkness that formed within the snow covered hills and cliffs that surrounded the small towns that rested in the world called the Land of Dragons. As the darkness formed into the figure of a man cloaked in a brown cloak with black straps fashioned in a X across its chest area, deep golden eyes gazed across the landscape as the being stretched out its senses to sample the Hearts in the area and see if they were worth observing or eatting.
After all, the being here was indeedand hungry for something, but whether it was knowledge or simply Hearts was a debatable matter, but one that this figure was patient enough to find the answer too. The dark being that scanned the area was in a general good mood after all.
He had found and captured one Princess of Heart from the Enchanted Domain and he had even found that Half-Heart that could be so rebellious at times. While it was true said Half-Heart was killing his precious Heartless, the being was not worried about the boy being a problem for him.
After all, he had made the boy when he was once a man. Had taken that dark part of a particular keyblader's Heart and made it his tool to gain the X-blade. The plan had failed back then and the man was no longer one piece anymore, but that still did not change the fact that the Half-Heart belonged to the Darkness and the Darkness was where this particular being thrived.
The Half-Heart called Vanitas was a tricky being to deal with. In the past, he had dealt with the boy's loyalty and treachery, so it would be interesting to see just how much use the boy could be to him this time around...or perhaps he'd be useless and food for the Heartless. Only time would tell.
In any case, the Half-Heart nor the strange man he was with back in Enchanted Domain were of any concern to the being at the moment. No this world was its focus.
Stretching its senses even further, the being could taste the weak Hearts that lived in the area alongside the strong. He could sense many civilians and a few warriors of Light that he knew could be problematic if he did not tread carefully. Well then...It looked like exploring and information gathering would be the course of the day then. He wasn't searchng for battles.
How fortunate for the unsuspecting humans he had chosen information and observation over chaos and death. They could hold onto their small lives a little longer. With a smirk on his lips, the cloaked figure began to make its way down the icy slopes. As the figure walked, letting its sense touch everything, the figure found itself stopping in its stroll as it picked up a familiar darkness.
The darkness belonged to a man not of this world. A man he had met once back in the library of his base Hollow Bastion. A man with much potential and one who he had respected very much. He had lost contact with the man long ago, so it was interesting to come to this random world and find him again.
Curious as to what the powerful man was doing here, the figure began to casually head in the direction of the other's presence not bothering to hurry as he casually took in the scenery. In time he would reach him.

Sephiroth continued to stare down at the small little town. He could obliterate it in a second. Right as he was about to give himself some entertainment. Something familiar had showed up. It was a powerful presence of darkness, which was nearby. The Chosen one couldn't quite place his finger on it, but he did know this entity. With a slight grin, he had remembered who it was.
It must be that Seeker guy. No matter what the cost, he wasn't going to let even this man get in his way. Now that he was back, Sephiroth was going to send everything into the Lifestream. Not only that, but he was going become a full god once more and create a new planet. At the moment, he was going to amuse himself with this man he had met way back when.
From what he remembered the Seeker was someone he had respect for. The One Winged Angel couldn't remember why, but it must have been for a good reason. With this in mind he steadily turned around and began to walk in the direction of this powerful dark energy. Sure his plan was to find the Remnants first, but this was something that he should attend to.

Ansem continued to walk down the slopes in a casual fashion pausing here and there to take in what was useful in the area and what was not. As he took in the snowy landscape and the tall mountains, his eyes narrowed as a smirk appeared on his face. Moving from his current path, the cloaked Heartless walked to the edge of the a relatively long drop.
Below him were rocks and tricky paths up the mountain and beyond that rested a small village. It would be so easy to flood those paths with darkness and send the Heartless after the Hearts below or perhaps simply cause a small "accident" to disturb the peaceful mountains sending a torrent of snow to crush the humans below. Wipe them out before they could become a problem. Or maybe it would be best to capture a few humans and toyed with them to see how long it would take to for them to succumb to the darkness and become another servant of the darkness and him.
It was certainly something to pass time with and yet, the Heartless resists such temptations to entertain himself.
In due time, this world would be his playground. He would let the darkness sink into it and transform this boring place into one of twisted beauty. He'd watch the Darkness tear down the old and recreate a new and balanced world suited for his Heartless to thrive in. He'd bring peace to the fools who believed Light was the only way and any who stood in his way....well they'd be crush.
Darkness would consume the worlds one way or another. There was nothing that would stop that. Ansem was going to be sure of that.
Backing away from the edge of the pathway, the Heartless turned to go back to his walk, but froze as the familiar form of Sephiroth came into view. Staying where he was, the cloaked Heartless's eyes glowed slightly from under the shadows of the hood as he took in the winged man.
He wasn't sure if this man was the same as the one he had met in the library of Hollow Bastion, but at least the strength within that black Heart of his remained. Perhaps they could still be business partners as they were planning to be back then. After all, it would be nice to have the powerful darkness on his side and not against him. Still, if he had to crush the man...then he would, but for now he would play nice.
Leaning back in the air, Ansem began to float about a foot off the ground as he crossed his legs and leaned forward as he let one arm rest in his lap as he used the other to form a makeshift head rest.
As he leaned his head against his slightly balled hand, he continued to watch the man get closer and closer until finally he was within speaking range.
Turning his head ever so slightly in the man's direction, the Heartless spoke to the man.
"Well, I never expected to see you here...Sephiroth," the Heartless said as the cold wind blew through the area causing the fabric of the his hood to blow and cover half of his face, leaving only a slight grin and a golden eye to be shown from the darkness the hood held.

As the One Winged Angel continued to walk the snow filled path way, he had only one focus. He wanted to know who was emitting that dark power. The Chosen One couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he knew he was missing something. How could he forget such a powerful person? Sephiroth loved strong people, it was how he got stronger and learned in the process.
Its what gave him part of his god complex. While walking he also noticed the terrain up ahead had plenty of rocks and snow. For an average person it would be rather hard to travel. Then Sephiroth came to an immediate halt when he saw a figure completely covered by a brown cloak. When the creature spoke, he knew who it was. It was the Seeker of Darkness.
"I'm simply finding a planet to use to become a god once more." That's right he blurted it right out. Sephiroth figured that even if he told no one. Someone would find out about his plans So he could care less of who he tells. The One Winged Angel was going to complete his goal, and would annihilate anyone who gets in his way. "I'm also looking for a certain someone."
The Chosen One knew that this Heartless had some sort of fixation of his own. It had something to do with putting everything back into the darkness. However, no matter how strong the darkness could be. The Light will always shine through. So Sephiroth believed his goal was more easy to accomplish. Sephiroth would help the Heartless as long as he wouldn't get in the Demi - God's way.

Ansem continued to float where he was after he had spoken to the green eyed silver head man. The Heartless had had his doubts about the man remembering him, but as he watched the man come to a halt and look at him, the Heartless was relieved to find he was mostly wrong. Sure, there had been a slight tremor in the air that would've suggested that the man might not remember, but then as soon as they met eye-to-eye that tremor vanished and the man spoke to him with the ease and confidence of someone who was quite familiar and comfortable about being around him.
Good. Very good. The potential of being business partners was still there.
Quite pleased with the with the way things were turning out, Ansem listened carefully as the man spoke about what he was doing in this world. Slowly, the Heartless's eyebrow rose in curiosity and amusement. Oho! What was this now? Sephiroth was looking for a planet to use to take over to become a god?
Now where had this strange plan come from? He remembered the last time the man was seeking information and had a way of playing hide and seek with information he held that made the Heartless almost giddy with joy. It had been a long time since he had had that much fun playing with fire, but now it seems that the rules had changed. Whether it was simply because the man was comfortable with him or perhaps something else, the dark-hearted angel had told him what his plan was plain and simple.
A little disappointing considering that he would've loved to play the hunting game a bit longer, but that was okay. At least the man was honest and where he stood in the grand scheme of things was more or less locked in place now. This man might be a problem if his plans of becoming a god got in his way. While Ansem had no issue with allowing strong Darkness exist in the world he would create while he waited for Xehanort to return to unleash the ultimate plan, he would have issues with a Darkness that threatened the family or the very habitat they lived in. He was also not one to be ruled over, so if this pretty boy and his plans to become a god blinded him to these simple facts, then Ansem would have no choice, but to crush the man and erase his existence completely; however, until that time came, Ansem would do nothing to hurt this man.
After all business was business and like a good business partner Ansem never did bite back until he had too.
In any case, the Heartless nodded slightly after a while not really agreeing or disagreeing with the man's statement.
"Ambitious as always. I look forward to seeing what you can do," the Heartless responded kindly enough keeping all malice out of his voice as he continued to observe the man. When the One Winged Angel spoke again, Ansem found himself even more surprised.
Now he was looking for a particular someone? Whatever happened to information searching or was it perhaps because he found said information that he had gone on this new path? Whatever the case was, Ansem figured he would find out sooner or later, so for now he left the trivial questions out of the equation as he instead focused on making good of being helpful to the man.
"Well, then. How can I be of services to you? Who is it you seek?" he asked simply as he tilted his head at the man and awaited the answer while keeping all true motives of being so cooperative hidden.

As Sephiroth stood there in the snow, he watched and listened to the Heartless. The Angel wondered why this man was attempting to motivate him, and even help him out. Thats when it hit him like a ton of bricks. Sephiroth remembered something along the lines of business partners. However, even the best of partners would one day betray you.
Not to mention this guy was affiliated with the Heartless from what he remembered. So there was no way, he could let his guard down against something like that. Not to mention Sephiroth might have to betray the man as well. Seeing how his plan to become a god once more, and create a new planet. That might interfere with the Heartless plans.
Even still that was a fight that Sephiroth would refuse to lose. The Demi-God's plan was going to happen. Nothing would stop him this time. However, that was something to worry about later. With his eyes firmly locked on to his 'ally, he wondered what he should say. "Ambitious dreams become a reality." The Angel paused for several moments.
"The person i'm looking, I must find on my own." He said with a rather stern look. Sure his 'allies' help would be kindly appreciated, but he needs to find Cloud on his own. When the time was right. Fate would bring him and his old 'friend' back together. Of course it was going to be one gruesome fight. This time Sephiroth returned with his own body. So things were much different.

Ansem continued to float where he was, watching the green eyed man careful as his own senses told him much about the black heart that pulsed life through that man's veins. It was an interesting Heart within the man. It was one that understood the world, but at the same time one who hated the world. The hatred the man had within was enough to drive him on his insane dream of becoming a god...a dream that was less practical than his own goals in the Heartless's mind.
Ansem had never tried to be a god himself. No, his own dreams were more selfish than that. He wanted to learn and grow. Find ways to take the Darkness and weave it into the worlds so tightly that not even Light could chase it away. It was true there would always be Light to pierce the Darkness, but if he had the knowledge he wanted, he could learn to use that same Light to his advantage... force the Light to submit and become part of the Darkness...
Much like that child did to you, no?
The brief thought caused the Heartless to bow his head lightly making the cloak that covered him droop lower over his face and shadow it even more. As much as he hated to lose and hated even more seeing the Light win, he knew without a doubt that he had to keep it around. It was a balancing act that was both fragile and hard to master; however, that keyblader...that one truly annoying and fascinating child had mastered the act and had even come out strong enough to ward him and Xehanort off no matter how many times they had tried to get the boy to submit to their plans.
If Ansem could figure out what it was that made that kid control both the Light and the Dark, then he would have his answer to making the Light submit to his power.
In any case, the Heartless only ponder little issue for a moment before the clear voice of Sephiroth drew him from his thoughts and caused golden eyes to lock once more on the man. To the man's words, he nodded.
"I suppose there is truth in that. I cannot blame for aiming for high goals. They are quite appealing and even more delicious when we finally grasp them," the Heartless said as snatched the cold air with one fist as a shark like grin appeared on his face.
Then relaxing once more, the Heartless reclined slightly in the air as he continued to watch the man carefully his smirk remaining in place as he kept his true thoughts hidden.
The warriors of the Light in the worlds were a persistent bunch, but it would only be a matter of time before they too would face judgement when the final war came about. In time....all the piece would come together and then true glory would be upon the world.
Despite what the Heartless knew was to come, he did not reveal his knowledge to the man before him as he instead tilted his head at the man's next set of words.
"Oho. That personal, huh? Well then, I'll leave you to your own devices then," the Heartless said casually as he continued to remain relaxed round the man. "However, I cannot imagine a man of your prestige coming all the way into the mountains for a lovely chat when there are so many other distractions about. Outside of your main goal, why did you decide to approach me?"
The question was spoken in calm tones as the Heartless continued to keep the pretty boy under tight scrutiny.

Sephiroth gave a slight nod to his Heartless 'ally', when he began to talk about reaching high goals. To be honest, the One Winged Angel thought this guy was more of a snake than anything. He had a feeling this creature would betray any of his allies on a whim. However, the Demi-God believed himself to be more of a 'kind- hearted' person.
When Sephiroth tries to recruit people to his armada. He tends to try and find people who he could have great respect for. Anyone who could see his goals and be by his side would live. Everyone else will die. It is simple as that. Soon enough the Heartless posed an interesting question. Why did he approach the Heartless?
"I sensed a familiar power, and it led me to you." The Chosen One said with his calming green eyes. The Angel wondered if he was destined to fight this man. Every time he meets the same person over and over, he winds up fighting them. Good examples being Cloud and his pathetic friends, Zack, and even his best friends Genesis and Angeal.
It was almost as if the Angel couldn't resist. He wanted to test the Heartless powers. However, he was going to resist that urge for the moment. "Tell me. What brings a creature such as your self to a backwater world as this?" He said in a rather calm and cunning tone.

The silver head man that stood before him was as quiet as ever, but the Heartless could read much in his Heart. He could sense the distrust that rested in the man's Heart, but at the same time he did not mind it. The distrust in the man's Heart did not make him weak or easily manipulated by the Darkness, so for that strength alone the Heartless respected the man; however, the more he talked with the man the more, he saw just how much the man had changed.
Before the Heartless had been on the edge of sharing something quite grand with the man whose motives were hard to read, but now the playing field had changed, so instead of wanting to show him that place that fascinated him so, the Heartless let that idea go as he decided to wait for the day the man was ready to learn more about that place. For now, the Dark Heart would focused on a different path than the one he had chosen before. The pair could still work with each other since the understanding they were not exactly friends here was still in order.
While the white haired man's motives may have changed, it was silently agreed upon that they would aid one another as long as they did not get in each other's way and in turn ended up fighting one another. Sure the potential was there, but why start fires when their didn't need to be any.
Yes...This would still be a rather interesting path to go down.
Content with what had been gained here, the Heartless watched as the man nodded to his comment about dreams before tilting his head at the man's question about approaching him. Inwardly, he was amused by the response, but on the outside the Heartless remained calm.
"Ah yes. You are one of the more curious types, aren't you?" the Heartless said appreciating the fact that this man was not just about power, but about learning to...at least that is the way he presented himself back at Hollow Bastion. He wondered if this god path had changed that common ground between them making him somewhat like the other god-want-to-bes out there. The Heartless hoped this was not the case. He had actually been quite relieved to find another who loved knowledge like he did.
Regardless of what he thought, the Heartless's face remained calm as straightened out in the air before landing back on his feet. As his boots quietly touched the snow, the Heartless heard the dark angel's question and smirked slightly. The answer to that one was simple enough.
"The usual things that bring us more curious folks out into the middle of no where," he began calmly as he moved to left with his hands clasped behind his back much in the fashion that Xehanort used to fold his own. He took a few steps forward and then stopped as he turned to face Sephiroth once more.
"Knowledge," the Heartless said grasping the air with his free hand. "I want to know exactly what makes this place tick, so I came here to take research notes."
The words were calm and they matched up easily enough with the half-lie he had given the man back at Hollow Bastion -- the one about being a researcher. While it was true his goals were more grand than what he led them onto be, he was not completely lying about the research. The Heartless did indeed want knowledge and it was true he was going to observe this place to gather what he wanted.
The only thing he left out was the potential of sinking the place in complete Darkness or at least letting the Heartless play with the people below after said knowledge was gained. It was a trivial detail that the man did not need to be told of.
He was sure as intelligent as this one is, he'd figure him out without any assistance. Sephiroth would find out what he was and what he wanted to do with Heartless. The man may even find out about the large surprise that would come once everything had been set in to place for Xehanort.
Yes, he'd let the man figure each and every one of these mysteries out and if questions should arise he would answer them, much like he answered most who sought knowledge. After all, it was not like they could stop the plans from happening.
Ansem would continue to return forever as long as Riku and the Darkness existed. Nothing could kill him for nothing could erase the Darkness and there were always pawns to use to come back to full strength. As for the other goal...well no one could stop that glory even if they tried. If Sephiroth thought he was ambitious, then he would find that his goal fell short of Xehanort's grand plan. It was a fact that pleased Ansem to no end.
Still keeping the light smirk on his face, the Heartless watched the man before him to see his reaction to what had been said to answer as he kept himself quietly amused with this little game.

"You could say." Sephiroth said in response to Ansems question. The Angel loved to do a little bit of research now and then. However, if one would just sit down for days, weeks, or even months doing research nothing would get done. So for now, he wasn't going to go find any kind of massive library and do research. Which was the whole point of him being here.
The Demi God simply wants to find a good world to use for his plan. So far this one seemed like a contender. Of course, he wasn't going to make his decision until he visits more worlds. Then again he is considering Hollow Bastion, and the Coliseum. As Ansem spoke again, Sephiroth listened very carefully. To his surprise, he wasn't that astonished at all.
All this creature ever wanted to do was gain information. If one would take to long with a plan they might over think it. Action must always be taken right away. For a few brief moments, he stood there ever so silent. Almost standing there emotionless. "Tell me. What is your ultimate goal?" Sephiroth asked curiously. Depending on what the Heartless says. Could interfere with his own plans.

Golden eyes glowed lightly from the shadows of the hood as the cold wind continue to blow, whipping the fabric of the cloak as it blew. The being underneath did not seem to mind the wind or the cold as nature brushed its cold fingers across his face and some of his chest that was exposed to the elements. Not a single goosebump rose on the tanned skin. Not a single shiver went through his body.
No, the inhuman being stopped on the edge of the high ledge and briefly looked out onto the snow covered world, observing its beauty and imaging what it would be like to see this beautiful landscape draped with the darkness. It would be quite the sight. However, the admiring of the world came to an end as those golden eyes moved from observing the landscape and drifted back to the man he spoke with.
As the white haired angel of death spoke, Ansem's smile remained. It was a smile that hide a slight disappointment. While Sephiroth had not said it out loud, the Heartless felt that the man's want for knowledge had dulled as his lust for action increased. It was definitely a change of pace from the last time they met, but the Heartless supposed that was the way with those of Hearts. Always their goals and ways changed as they chased this dream or that while trying to keep the competition at bay.
It was always interesting to watch the constant changes of those with a Heart. Watch how some ran into success and others brought themselves to ruin with their plans. While it was true that gaining his goal was a slowly and maybe even futile process in other people's eyes, the persistence in which he pursued such goal was the key that would make him succeed when all these weaker minded fools fell, blinded by their own ambition which they were not ready to bear.
See, unlike others who loathed defeat, Ansem took these bumps in the road in stride, learning from the experiences as he constantly adapted his plans. Always he made sure that next time he got further and further until the time came to unleash the ultimate prize upon everyone. The one that would determine the fate of the worlds and everything in it. However, that time had not yet come and so the Heartless plotted ways to make the pathway smoother.
In any case, the Heartless only pondered this for a short while and then the thinking was halted as the man asked a question of his own. To this, the Heartless tilted his head at the perspective man.
"Ultimate goal?" he repeated as he locked his eyes the other, his smile fading. "My ultimate goal is to make Light submit to the Darkness and finally return this world to the way it once was. In other words, I am here to bring order to this chaos and usher in a new era of peace."
The Heartless spoke the words in low tones as he watched the man carefully. While Ansem did leave out some details, what he had said was not a lie. He truly sought these things in the world. The only question was would someone like Sephirpth get in his way. He highly doubted this, if all the man truly wanted was to become a god. Still, some did over step their boundaries....and that is what Ansem prayed this warrior did not do.

Sephiroth kept a keen eye on the man before him. However, he was rather surprised when the Heartless mentioned the word peace. The Demi-God already knew that was a garbage statement. Those Heartless the man controls only causes destruction and despair. So how could such a evil being want to bring about peace with Darkness? The Angel would do anything to find a worthy opponent.
In a sense he was worse than the Heartless. Except, Sephiroth does the dirty work himself. He can go around and kill anything he wishes. Thats how much power he has. No one and nothing would stop him. The Chosen one already knew that most worlds were in peace without the Heartless. However, there was no perfect world in the eyes of this Demi-God. Nor will there ever be.
There will only be one perfect world. That world would be the one he creates with his Remnants on a later date. The Chosen One knew there had to be more to this mans plan. Sephiroth had done plenty of research and studying. He had learned what many could only dream of learning. The Angel wouldn't accept that as this Heartless answer. "Unacceptable. A being of your stature must have more in store then that. Explain further." He asked with a rather grim look.
This Angel needed to know now. Sephiroth knew the Heartless would probably betray him in the end. So he needs more than that pathetic excuse of an answer. This will decided whether or not he continues to be of service to the Heartless or not.

The air of distrust hung heavily in the air between the Heartless and the silver haired man he talked to. It was true that angel of darkness and he had not be on the best of footing in the beginning, but the air of distrust between them had not been this thick. So what is it that has changed, the Heartless wondered as his eyes scanned the man up and down.
The man's appearance was more or less the same, the only additions to the familiar scene were the wings upon the man's back; however, something in the Heart of this man had changed. It was this strange change that fascinated the Heartless and made him wish to know exactly what sort of Heart this man truly had. What made him tick.
Perhaps if the man had been anything, but a strong adversary, the Heartless might've put him to some sort of test in an attempt to get his Heart to examine it, but alas this man was not your ordinary foe. No, this powerful man was known to the Heartless and the Darkness well enough. He had a strong will that kept him alive that matched even Ansem's. It was interesting, when comparing the two, to see how much the pair were similar and yet so different than one another.
For example, both wanted power, but while the man wanted to become a god, Ansem only wanted to paint the world in Darkness until Xehanort came back to continue walking with him on the pathway to the ultimate goal: Kingdom Hearts and the war to come. So when he was asked about his ultimate goal, he had given the man only a half truth, but knew somewhere deep inside that the man would probably not buy what he said.
After all the man was very prescriptive, so it would be...unacceptable if the man had simply listened to his words and let them go without anymore questions; however, it appeared that this man was aiming to keep the Heartless quite happy.
As soon as the Heartless finished his words, he could feel the dissatisfaction reeking off the man like a malicious blanket, his hostility kept in check despite having his patience tested.
As the Heartless watched the man with those golden eyes of his, he wondered if the man truly understood where he was coming from on at least half of his goals. He wondered if he understood, the balance in which he sought. It was hard to tell, but within that black Heart of his he highly doubt the man understood anything.
Darkness and the Heartless. They were two forces the world highly misunderstood. No one could begin to even toy with the idea that a world of peace under Darkness's rule could be created. That a perfect balance of both Light and Dark could make something grand, but Ansem knew it could be done.
After all, he had seen perfection in balance only twice in his life. One was in his infuriating arch nemesis Riku and the other had been created by two halves of the same person that had been perfectly molded to become the best that both Light and Dark had to offer. When combined, they made the ultimate key and opened the true path to Kingdom Hearts.
It had been beautiful that day way back then when Xehanort...no he had gained his goal. It had been glor--
The thought stopped as another interrupted it. It was a brief one of anger and hate towards that same day as something different stirred within the Heartless. It was some part of him that was rebellious against the plans of Xehanort and yet he did not understand why at all. It was the part of him that surfaced when facing the past. The part of him that made him act and feel differently about all that Xehanort did. Was the perhaps the linger remains of the keyblader Terra that was also a part of him? It was hard to say and quit frankly, the Heartless did not wish to go down that path in front of this man.
It was only a slight tug of rebellion against the idea, but then as soon as it came the feeling was gone and the Heartless was returning to reality, remaining as calm as ever despite the near slip up that only his eyes could betray, so when the man commanded him to explain further, the Heartless had given him an even gaze as a slight smirk came upon his face. He was pleased with the request, so he supposed he could give him more or less an answer.
"Hmph," was all the Heartless said before he was turning his back on the man as he let his golden eyes take in the dull icy landscape for a moment. There was silence with only the wind breaking it and then the Heartless was speaking in a calm and quiet voice that had lost all signs of amusement.
"These worlds and their Light and Dark wars are infuriating to me, so I do not lie when I say I wish to recreate the world with Darkness. You may not think it true or even possible, but the world I seek can be created. All I have to do is make the Light submit to my will," he said and then he turned to Sephiroth with a slight smile on his face, but his eyes were ablaze with something between madness and passion as he spoke his next set of words.
"I have lived a long time with people telling me I was mad for such impossible goals, but true perfection does rest out there and the key is submission of Light and Dark to one another. When they bow to one another and mesh, they create the perfect forms that are very powerful and even harder to destroy. Trust me, I have seen it with my own eyes and I plan to see it again," the Heartless growled as his smile faded. He was done playing games.
"The worlds will be cleansed of their foolish hopes and dreams and a new era will be ushered in by the darkness. I don't care if it takes me 1,000 years to do, so I will have my triumph and with that triumph, my purpose will be fulfilled," he told the man remaining as cryptic as ever when it came to information. There was only one that he knew that could pick what he meant apart and find the truth there outside of the pieces of him that were scattered to the universe, but that person was not person was not her now, was he?
In any case, once the words were out the Heartless watched Sephiroth for a moment in tense silence and then blinking he turned and began to head down the mountain path letting the wind play with his cloak as he went. After a few paces, he stopped once more as he spoke.
"A war is coming and while Light and others may try and stand its way, it will inevitably come whether or not the worlds are ready for it not," he turned slightly to look back at Sephiroth. "The only thing you have to worry about is which side of the playing field you are on when it does happen."
The Heartless finished his explanation as a brief image of the Keyblade Graveyard crossed his mind. That one place where all of this had started and all of this would end.
He brought his focus from that place and back to Sephiroth. The ball was in his court now.

Sephiroth listened to the Heartless go on and on about the Light and Dark. This creature wanted to usher in a new age of peace with the Darkness? Oh no. The Darkness is not a tool to be used to create peace. The Darkness is made to be used for destruction, chaos, and lastly death. The Chosen One could care less about this thing wanting to have the Light submit.
A creature of the Darkness should know that the Light would never submit. As for this undeniable war, which is to occur. If it happens, it might be a rather large event. After all they are talking about the Light and Darkness fighting to the end. The One Winged Angel simply stood there, back now facing the Heartless as it walked past him. The Heartless answer was more descriptive, and very interesting.
However, he didn't like it. "The Darkness is a tool for destruction, chaos, and to annihilate everything." He paused for several moments. "The Darkness devours everything in its rampage of corruption, except the Light. And the Light will never submit to the Darkness. I've experienced this. No matter how many times you obliterate the Light it comes back. Its almost more infectious than the Darkness."
Again he paused, slowly to turn and face the Heartless. "I've experienced much more in a single lifetime than you. I have become a God in the past. Only to be made a Demi-God. I've dealt with the Darkness, Light, and what you call Keybladers. If your plan ultimately works there will be nothing left to control. No life, or creation. Only a vast emptiness of Darkness, which is chilling to the bone."
Sephiroth gazed upon Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness with his cold, intimidating green eyes. "Where as I plan on destroying everything. Sending it to the Life Stream. Soon after creating new life under my command. You may be one of the greatest researchers, I have come to know. However, your plan is flawed. The Darkness can only be used for destruction."
Once more he paused, to gently place his left hand onto the handle of his sword. "Therefore, I must sever what ties our two hearts together."
