It certainly wasn't fit for outside travel. She'd make a mess everywhere she went! "You can always rely on Magical Girl Rayne to steer you straight!" Rayne stated, perhaps more enthusiastically than she had intended. As she watched Antique shifted about to find something heavy, Rayne began to focus some of her energy into her left hand, centered at the palm. It was the smallest sparkle of purple light, emitting a soft glow. Antique settled on the bar, asking if it was okay, which prompted a slight nod from Rayne. "Perfect."
Once Rayne was certain Antique was ready, and she herself had focused and stabilized enough energy, she threw her arm out, ball of energy in hand, and with a rolled flick of her wrist in motion with the swing, unleashed the energy. It pulsed out powerfully, booming inside the shop. Rayne had gotten a bit too excited, and lost control of it at the last second. Luckily, the range of the effect was short, so hardly anything outside of the bar stools were bothered... The loss of control suddenly made Antique, for a brief second, reject all the powder and sprinkles that were covering her, before gravity within a short range was outright reversed! Things suddenly began to rocket up for the ceiling! The stools, items on the bar, Antique, and even Rayne herself! "Crap!" Rayne exclaimed as her back smacked the ceiling, her head giving it a good clunk, before the effect wore off a mere second later. Rayne came sailing back down, faceplanting rather hard on the ground once more.
Owie...darn it......thought I had it under control...
Rayne slowly shifted to her feet, her right hand rubbing the back of her head with an inward hissing sound at the slight pain of it. That wasn't a ride she wanted to go on again... "I-I'm sorry, sweetie... Are you okay?" Rayne called to Antique, not yet sure where the young girl had even landed. This day quickly went downhill.

Antique was interested to see how something like this would happen; how Rayne was going to get all the powdered sugar and sprinkles and flour off of her. Was she going to use magic? Was that why she was asking her to grab ahold of something heavy? Or was she just going to brush her off with a duster? Either way, Antique wriggled kind of uncomfortably as she leaned over the bar. It was a little bit of an awkward position to be in, really.
Turning her head to look over her shoulder, she watched in wonder at the spark of purple light. What a lovely color! Soon enough, she was free of all the things that were dirtying her--though she didn't have too long to admire Rayne's handiwork before her stomach seemed to crawl out of her mouth. Confused as to why she saw her feet leaving the ground, she flailed, wondering vaguely if she was sleeping, before her rump hit the ceiling, cushioning the impact.
And then she fell much like a cat would, on all fours, but with pain shooting up her limbs. Not moments later, she heard the steady plopping of cupcakes and pastries hitting the wooden floors.
"Oh...oh...oh my...!" she said in a dazed voice, not quite sure what had just happened.

Her field had gone a bit further than she had anticipated, it seems. Although Antique was speaking, so Rayne felt relieved that she seemed okay. The blonde hastily stood to her feet, giving the back of her head a final rub, before moving over and snatching up Antique quickly. "L-Let's go shopping, sweetie!" Rayne stated with forced enthusiasm.
The young woman tossed Antique over her shoulder before sprinting out the door without allowing her young friend much time to react. As Rayne ran out of the door, she summoned Zeromus' Shadow inside the shop, channeling his area of appearance off in the bathroom, to ensure Antique wouldn't see him.
Clean this place up while we're gone, Zeromus!
Damned human! I am no maid, and ne'er will I be!
Rayne paid no heed to Zeromus' mental backtalk, and instead focused on sprinting away as quickly as possible, Antique in tow. As the two made it a ways away, Rayne finally stopped, still in perfect breathing condition. She was starting to surprise even herself with how fit she was becoming... She set Antique gently down on her feet and nervously smiled. "So, um, where are we headed first?" Rayne inquired tentatively. As the woman finished speaking her hand moved instinctively the the back of her head, where she had bonked it earlier. With an inward hiss, she jerked her hand away when she touched it. There was a nice sized bump that probably wouldn't be going away anytime soon...

In an instant, Antique was tossed over Rayne's shoulder. Yelping in surprise, the girl cried out in dismay because she just knew she was not all that light weight wise (hey, the girl was a baker) and howintheworldwasRaynethisstrong? Never in her life had Antique been carried off like this, like a sack of potatoes! And soon, now, they were moving!
Already a bit dizzy from having landed on the ground of her bakery like a cat, she was confused as to what was really going on here. Why was Rayne so interested in shopping now?
"C-can you put me down...?" Antique mewled after the older girl had ran quite a distance. "Or...or at least let me switch positions?" The rough ride had left the younger girl rather pale faced, with a bit of motion sickness. "Hng....?" Even her hair seemed a bit more droopier than usual, as if her ponytails were instead some kind of animal ear.
"We...we need to go to the market," she said quietly, pointing in the direction of marketplace. Which was...actually, really, rather in the opposite direction they were heading.
<Antique has exited the thread.>

There wasn't anyone else around, thankfully. No one would be seeing Rayne in Antique's work uniform just yet...
My dignity is safe for at least a while longer. The young woman mentally remarked. Rayne absently sent her hands running through her beautiful blonde hair to straighten it out, as it had gotten quite messy in both the fall and her run here. As she did, Rayne happened to notice a particular gloom about Antique. Perhaps she wasn't feeling well. A little piece of Rayne dropped into her stomach, but she did her best to hide it. The older woman gave Antique a gentle pat on the head, which ran through her hair in an attempt to fix it afterward.
Rayne gave a single nod in response to Antique's gesture for their direction. It seemed she ran them in the wrong direction, but that was ultimately fine to Rayne. It just meant that she'd get to spend that much more time with Antique. And truly, time was a precious thing... If only she had more of it left to her.
End Thread.
