After a furious round of fighting in the fourth h round, only five combatants remain out of the original twelve. Everything is on the line in this round, as none of the combatants remain undefeated. The next round we will be down to our final three, Whatever being one of them! All that is known to the warriors remaining is that the fifth round of the Cerberus Cup has begun!

The last thing Naminé remember was someone calling time. The match had ended. She grasped her shoulder and could see Genesis around the fake Hydra. His image blurred in her eyes and her knees gave way under her. Everything went black.

Naminé’s eyes fluttered sometime later. She could feel something cool on her for head. She reached up to touch the object and found that is was a wet cloth. Her eyes fully came back to focus and she saw that a female with long brown hair and a purple dress sitting next to her.

Naminé went to sit up and the cloth dropped on to her lap. She got dizzy all of the sudden. “Whoa! Easy there Shorty.” Came the woman’s voice as she gentle pushed Naminé back down and positioned the cloth back on her forehead. “The healing waters are still working their magic. Try to take it easy.”

The memory witched laid there just staring up at the lady that she knew to be Megara, Hercules’ girlfriend. “What happened? How did I get back to the tent?” She asked with a rather monotone ton even for her.

Megara raised eyebrow at her. “Did you honestly think people were just going to let you lay there in the middle of the arena?” She said rather sarcastically. The Greek woman sighed when she got no reaction from the memory witch other than a blank look. She smiled gentle at her. “Your opponent, Genesis, carried you off after you fainted. He left you in my charge.” She explained as she reached for the cloth on Naminé’s head so she could dunk it in the bucket to re-wet it. “I am surprised you lasted as long as you did after getting stabbed like that. Most people with your build would have collapsed right there and then.”

Meg went to put the newly wet cloth on back on Naminé’s head but the memory witch rolled over on her and curled up. Meg looked down at the girl and placed the cloth back in the bucket with a sigh. “Are you always this articulate?” Again no reaction could be had. Meg stood up. “The next match will be starting soon. You better figure out what you are going to do.” She walked away.

Naminé laid there on her side. She heard Meg’s footsteps as she left the tent. The girl in white curled up tighter and tears streamed her face. She cried slightly until she fell asleep. Genesis stood before her in her dreams and thrust his sword into her shoulder. He then turned into Ansem and the Soul Eater blade once again slashed at her. Ansem became Xemnas and he pushed her down and swiped at her as well. Xemnas became DiZ and cast a series of spells upon her. The dream kept on that way. She watched as enemies and friends all tried to kill in her nightmares. Finally the carousal of characters landed on Kairi. She rose her Keyblade for her finishing move. “Wake up and go back to where you belong.”
The words wake up kept repeating themselves as Naminé fell to Kairi’s attack with a scream. “Hey! Wake up. Wake up, the next match is about to start.” The memory witch realized that the words wake up slowly turned from Kairi’s voice to someone else. She could feel her whole world shaking as she laid in the darkness. Her yes popped open and she was once again looking at Meg.

Naminé sat up no emotion showed on her face from the dream she just had. She simply looked at the Megara and stood up to walk the arena. She didn’t bother looking at the roster. She didn’t care who she was against.

“Hey!” Meg’s voice made Naminé stop walking and turn around. Next thing she knew she was getting slapped across the face. A shocked look played across her features before returning to its neutral look. Her wristed was grabbed and she was being pulled closer to a rather angry looking Meg.

“This is just a game. It no way reflects how people feel about each other. It is used to test your skills. Win or lose, learn from it. Figure out what works and what doesn’t.” She to Naminé. “Realize that you are stronger then you think. To use that strength you just have to unlock the heart within. Fight with your emotions. Let it spread its wings and soar.”

“I am a Nobody…I have no heart or emotions.” Naminé answered emotionless. Another slap across her face followed.

“I have seen you fight and there is no way that someone that fights as passionately as you have no heart.” Meg cut her off and let go of her wrist. “You are fighting for something. It might not hold in a silly game like this but you fight for a reason.”

Naminé’s name was called to the arena. She turned and started to walk half hearted to the stage. She stopped and looked back at Meg. “Go get’em Wonder Girl!” Megara smiled.

Naminé walked out into the arena. Whether the crowd was cheering or jeering was unknown to her. She wasn’t paying attention. Her face held a neutral expression as she still dwelled on Nightmares and thoughts that weren’t true. She didn’t even realize that she was standing on the stage already. With her eyes cast down she waited for her opponent to surface.

Sure, there really wasn't too much of a fight, but her nose sure hurt. The young blonde carefully rubbed her nose. "Ow ow ow..." She sobbed, tears forming in her eyes a bit until she was healed for the next battle. The keyblader blinked, poking her nose. She really needed to learn a few more powers if she wanted to make it in these tournaments. The girl had a little time before matches and decided to wander around the world a little. She hadn't had much time to explore before she spotted the goat man. She knew Selena would be there for the tournament and Azalea wanted nothing more than to face her. It had gone over quite well, actually... even if her Charm had been reflected back and she'd been made a fool. If it was any consolation, at least she didn't have to hurt Umbra. That thing was too cute and sweet to hurt in battle. Her eyes looked over the tournament bracket to see who was left. The blonde felt her eyes widen. "W-what!? SELENA WAS KNOCKED OUT!?" A bit of disappointment washed over her as she sighed. "Darn it... I REALLY wanted to prove myself to her... and she made me promise I'd tell her about my quest." The girl sighed softly before she heard her name being called. "....Nothing I can do now. At least I don't need to try as hard." She responded, quickly running to go back inside. After winning her last match, she was out to prove herself now. She headed straight into the coliseum, keyblade in her hand as she entered. This time she was going to go running from the get-go! She was going to beat this enemy into the ground! That's when she saw the young girl standing in front of her and she felt a little bad. Though, there was a warning that went off. This girl was still in the top five for a reason. She'd need to keep her guard up. "Hey! I'm Azalea! I hope you're ready for a good match!" She smiled bright before starting out strong and casting Charm and Blind right at the start before charging at the girl to attack her up close with her keyblade. Hopefully ONE of her abilities would kick in so that Azalea wasn't running in defenseless and leaving herself open for an attack.

Naminé’s opponent came out. She glanced up to see that she would be facing a female with long blond hair. The other girl had a Keyblade already in her hand. So this was going be the first Keyblader that Naminé would face that she had now connection too. The young witch thought back on her meeting with Whatever. If this other lady found out what the memory witch really was she would not hesitate to try to eliminate her from the worlds. That is what Keybladers did after all, strike down Heartless and Nobodies without a second thought. Something along the lines that some Heartless and Nobodies were possibly friendly was an absurd thought to have when a human with a heart wielded a Keyblade. This fight could easily turn into a fight to the death if this other girl was to find out that she was facing a Nobody…after all…Nobodies can’t feel anything…they don’t mind being wiped from this world….right?

Naminé cast her eyes down again. She didn’t care anymore…did she ever? She had no idea why she was even there and despite Meg telling her that she fought with passion and had to have something worth fighting for… Naminé didn’t believe. People were just trying to cast their own images on to the Nobody. They were making excuses because without knowing it…Naminé somehow was able to convince them that she was one of them.

She heard the girl introduce herself at the moment that battle began. Naminé nodded in acknowledgement that she heard the girl and simply just stood there. The other girl batted her eyelashes and blew her a kiss. “……..” Naminé raised her eyebrow at her. Obviously the memory witch didn’t know that her opponent was casting a spell since she never saw something quiet like this before. The peppy Azalea’s attack had failed to charm the Nobody. “Is it natural for girls to blow other girls kisses?” She thought to herself, still not caring to make a move.

All of the sudden everything the Coliseum went dark. She couldn’t see but it was obvious her opponent could. She could hear the other girl’s foots steps as she ran. The memory witch has just about enough of people stabbing her with things and was determined not to be hit with the Keyblade. Naminé didn’t back away or try to run. She stayed completely calm. She rose her one hand snapped her fingers. 4 Dusks came to her side. There was no point calling for her blade if she couldn’t see her target.

Two of the Dusks stood in front of Naminé while the other Two stood at either of her sides. They made it clear to the superior Nobody that they could see. “Attack.” Naminé said in a monotone voice. “Take her down.”

The two Dusks that were in took off after Azalea. The one dove at her feet to do the infamous figure eight wrap around as she ran to trip her up. The other leap up in to the air with its arms crossed in front of it and came down on the running maiden where it would uncross its arms in an attempt to slash her.

As for the other two Dusks, they stayed behind with their summoner. The one took a position in front of Naminé where the other took a position behind her and grabbed her waist in order to guide her out of the way if need be. The Nobodies stood there and watched, waiting for their turn, Naminé waiting for the lights to come back on in her eyes.

The crowd cheered for the two fighters. People in her last fight wanted to see her creatures again; they got their wish this time. Because of Naminé’s sight being gone it is a well known fact that the other 4 senses heighten themselves. Naminé could hear the individual voices cheering and through the crowd she could here Megara….and she was cheering for her. “Why?”

She hadn't seemed infatuated by Azalea. That was a bad thing, it meant her Charm hadn't affected her. The woman noticed the nobodies expression and smirked. So, her Blind had been successful. That gave her an advantage. As she swung her blade, she noticed the nobodies appear, unsure if her attacks landed on the two that charged her or not. She had swung and tripped forward when the creature moved between her legs. The blonde felt herself faceplant and slide a bit toward Namine after stumbling. She blinked up at the girl in the white dress still a distance ahead of her and smiled before hoping back to her feet. The girl dashed at Namine, using her Barrier Surge in the direction of Namine and the two nobodies defending her. She left the other two behind her, figuring she could focus on them after if they began to pester her. 'I'll teach that nobody a lesson for tripping me...' She thought to herself, the barrier having wrapped around her as she charged her target. Once the attack was completed, she felt her feet touch the ground and took a nice jump back and stood defensively. She didn't want to go over the top and hurt the girl. The young girl in white seemed quiet. Hopefully she wouldn't be too upset with the blind having affected her. It was pretty smart of the girl to not try and attack Azalea. That might have left the girl open to an attack. No one would have wanted that. Azalea was just here to meet people and have a little fun. Maybe she could find out more about these people by fighting and meeting them. She had met her first opponent, Rosa, before. Zack had disappeared before she could gauge his powers. Whatever seemed like a possible to join. Now she had this girl. It was really neat that she was able to summon the nobodies. Maybe it was something Azalea should learn. At that moment, she glanced back toward the two other nobodies. She figured she could take them out a bit later, if necessary. But she stood defensively to see what Namine would do next. "You never did introduce yourself." She stated.

The Dusk that attacked to vigorous Azalea fell to her Keyblade. It just wasn’t quick enough. At the same time Naminé’s sight was starting to come back. She was about to advanced to where the Dusk was vanquished but the other Nobody that was holding her waist stopped her. She looked back at it as it shook its head no. She nodded and remained were she was.

However the other Dusk managed to trip up the girl. Naminé couldn’t help but smile a little. It was kind of funny. She quickly revered back to her blank expression though. “Is this girl for real?” She thought with a raised eyebrow.

The Dusk that stood in front of Naminé took a chance to dash towards the fallen opponent to try to complete the slash that it comrade failed to do. It was unclear whether he got close enough since he was smashed by the Azalea’s Barrier Surge. “Hmmmm, looks like I am going to need to be fast rather then physical strength to have a chance. I need something that can break through her defenses.” She thought as she anyalized her opponent. “It is worth a shot.”

The other girl didn’t seem too worried about the two Dusks that were left on the field. The one that contorted itself some distances behind her and the other that was still behind Naminé. The Nobody raised her arm in front of her and with a burst of light and the fragrance of flowers; Destiny’s Embrace came to her hand. She took her one armed fighting stance for a moment. A sketchbook fell to the arena floor and flipped through its own pages of drawing before if finally stopped on a picture of a person in a black cloak. The memory witch then took a different stance, one that was more known to being the stance of Sora or Roxas. “My name is Naminé.” She said right before her hair turned black and seemed to shorten. Her dress was now a long black cloak. Her Destiny’s Embrace was now the Kingdom Key. “And this is Xion.” It has been awhile since Naminé had actually used her Mind Manipulating powers and this was the first time ever that she became a replica. But if anyone was fast enough to keep up and had the ability to break down walls and defenses….it was Xion.

The Dusk stepped to one side as Naminé/Xion leaped back and then propelled herself forward running towards Azalea. That combined with a slash at the mid section of the opponent once she reached them would be Xion’s Guard Break move. With any luck, if Azalea did put up a defense then it would have been broken by the disguised Nobody.

If she uses the abilities of the person then she can only use two. It was a clear sign that she was starting to come out of it. That, and her duration had worn off. Azalea had to admit that those dusk nobodies were pretty intelligent compared to most of them. The one had foreseen her attack and had kept Namine out of harm's way. That was pretty cool. Maybe she could get some tips from this other keyblader...though she'd need to find out about her being a keyblader first. Her barrier wore off after the attack, as it did for every keyblader that used the ability. She smiled at the girl before she noticed the keyblade get summoned. Azalea grinned. "Woah! You're a keyblader too! You must have one strong heart too." She commented, quickly throwing her keybladed toward the dusk behind her. She used her Strike Raid to make sure she wasn't snuck up on before catching it and looking back at Namine. The young girl's appearance changed and Azalea felt herself gawk at her. Did she just!? No way... No, she HAD to of. She'd just shapeshifted!? "THAT IS SO COOL!" She responded, blinked a bit at her. "Is that some sort of magic!? Can you JUST change your outfit at will too!? Or do you HAVE to change faces?" She asked. But, they were cut off when she'd given her name and started to attack. The young blonde pulled a face and backed up. "Nice to meet you, Namine~" She smiled a bit, not sure what to expect. Azalea had to think quickly on her feet. Namine...no....Xion was charging at her now. The only power she had left was her Confuse Barrier. She quickly called upon it to defend her from the one attack. However, she hadn't been aware of it being a guard break ability. It broke the shield around her and Azalea was surprised at that. The status effect was voided as her ability was stopped mid-cast. This caused Azalea to back up, trying to give herself some distance. However, the attack still hit her, but not as powerful as she was expecting. Azalea presumed that her barrier had taken some of the momentum. "Awesome power! I've never seen anyone shatter any of my barriers like that before!" She commented with a nod and a smile. She moved forward and aimed a strike at Namine. "I swear, your shapeshifting is soooo realistic! I love it! You think Dispel would work on getting rid of it?" She giggled, smiling.

Damage Taken:

Naminé inflicted more damage on Azalea with tripping her with Dusks and Xion's Guard Break vs. Azalea's Barrier Surge. Pretty straight-forward. - [Naminé]

Realism:

Both were pretty fair and realistic. However, if I had to have a tie-breaker, I don't believe it was very realistic OOC for Azalea to use a Barrier/Block technique against Naminé's Guard Break, when she could have saved it for later on in the fight. Azalea's IC naiveness would cost her because of this. - [Naminé]

Creativity:

There was no real creativity here, besides Naminé's selection of Xion for speed against Azalea. Also, because of the above reason, it was a poor choice to have Azalea find out the hard way barriers/blocks would break against Guard Break. Another thing is Azalea hinted at using Dispel, but never actually used it before the round ended. I don't believe forms can be dispelled (because it's not a buff/stat change) but if it was used, it would have more of a effect in this round. Also, Naminé's Dusks holding her up during her Blind status effect was ingenious. Naminé was more creative for these reasons. - [Naminé]

It’s two hits vs one, but the Barrier Surge probably did more than a trip and a grazing hit combined. - [Naminé]

Realism:

There is absolutely nothing more real than intentionally letting your character make a mistake. A lot of the time I feel like everyone is concerned with making their character look cool, which sometimes leads to head-bustingly out of character situations. I was absolutely wowed when Azalea blew her barrier on an attack that her player knew would bust it. She let herself get countered by an attack she had never seen before, and it was really, really cool. - [Azalea]

I liked how Naminé used her Nobodies to compensate for her sudden debuff. And....that’s kinda it! - [Naminé]
