[/div][/sub]I'm sick of feelingIs there nothing you can say
(OOC: Snow has my consent to already know I was air-tossed/pinballed with him into Flame Pillars.)
(Theme for this post: FFX Battle (METAL VERSION))
By the time Tidus had hit the ground, where he had remained after executing his headbutt, a veiled compliment had been sent his way. The stranger didn't even have to finish his sentence for the star player to tell that it was a 'you're good, but I'm better' compliment, and a follow-up attack would soon happen. The blitz ace caught his breath, stancing his legs apart as he crouched down, spinning the Brotherhood in his hands as it's watery pattern rippled across his surface. The man in black started a series of pillars around him made of fire, which towered upwards several dozen feet, and strangest of all it was creating a vaccum which was quickly pulling the blond towards the silver-head. Since he was standing nearby him when the ace had delievered the headbutt, but the man seemed to throw up the flame pillars slowly in retaliation slightly after Tidus had initally casted Cheer, Tidus shrugged off the fact the man seemed to not be aware of that small space of time along with the headbutt and seemed to have at least some breathing room to retaliate before he would be drawn into the new fiery spell.
He was closer than Snow, but with the few seconds he had before he was drawn in from the spot he had landed on the ground, Tidus threw up a gesture. The gesture was a spell, and underneath Kadaj as he cast the Flame Pillars, a strong geyseur of water would crash up and attempt to throw the Remnant into the air between his precious pillars, or at the very least destabilize his footing while casting it since he had to remain immobile while doing it. Waterga was cast from the cracks of the earth as the same time the Captain of the Zanarkand Abes would hit the flames, or so he thought. If his Waterga didn't put out the flames, then at least it was powerful double combo when he noticed Snow cast the spell as well, but directly into the flame pillar in front of them they would be drawn into. Hot steam and smoke poured out and around the immediate area as the two elements collided and did battle, and while not completely putting out the powerful spell, fire did put out water and so the flames would die down moreso than they would be if at full strength by themselves alone.
With the flames died down and the suction threatening to pull them up and off the ground around the pillars as if there was some sort of invisible tornado, the space between the columns was what the Spry Striker was aiming for as he slipped through them to avoid self-harm as much as possible, but still got burned in the process. Emerging out from the smokescreen and with the glowing-eyed assailant still in the eye of this fiery storm to keep conjuring it, Tidus sailed through the steam veil and planted a heel on the Remnant leader's head, not kicking through but pushing off in a heel-kick. Not that he needed the elevation, as the fiery tornado within whisked him up and 'pinballed' him around, giving him a singe not only on his skin and hair but on his clothes as well. Orange and red-hot fire pillars emblazoned around them, as Tidus noticed Snow had been pulled in behind him, and they had been yanked a large distance off the ground at the top of this hellish pentagram. Tidus locked his eyes with a fire-damaged Snow and saw him nod, understanding without a word he had thought the same idea he had about this being a perfect time to exploit this ability's weakness and counter-attack, and nodded back at him that he would help see him through it.
As Snow plummeted earthwards with what looked like his most powerful overdrive yet, Tidus had already been a step ahead of him, which had started the moment he had tried to use Kadaj as a launching platform. Not giving this twin-bladed menace a moment to breathe to spread darkness from his sword again, Tidus lifted back his own, and swung forth from Brotherhood a series of four wisp-like projectiles quickly down through the eye of the storm to pick up where he left off from the heel-kick. Timing it just right so it would hit the darkness user the moment Snow finished his explosive punch and hopped away, Energy Rain would scream down after the burly hero, the flame pillars dying down after the five seconds was up and with it the suction keeping Tidus from defying gravity.
His landng would not be so painless as Snow's who had anticipated to use Kadaj as his punching bag to break his fall, and even though the blitzballer flipped backwards as if kicking a blitzball in a effort to spread his body out to increase air resistance to make a softer landing, he landed some distance away from the two men and rolled uncontrollably and uncomfortingly through the lush grass of the Calm Lands. When he had come to a stop after spreading limbs out to stop his momentum, he was on his back, and goraned slightly as he pulled himself up wearily to his feet. The fall had grazed parts of his bare skin and his muscles hurt like they were still on fire, small streams of smoke still rising up from his clothes, but no broken bones and he had been in worse conditions. Using the Brotherhood to prop himself back up, he pulled himself to his feet, and watched as Snow summoned a familiar face - or faces - to aid them. Tidus had seen Yuna use the Aeon Shiva a few times in their pilgrammage, but he had no idea Snow was a summoner from his world... he seemed more like a Guardian of all things, with his physique and what he had told Tidus about himself and his world. Still, wonders and surprises never ceased, as not one by two Shiva twins were conjured up before his eyes.
The more help they could get - like with Tidus telling Rikku to go get help and stomp out death being brought to this world again - the better.
The 'newbie' of Yuna's Guardians watched as one of the Shiva sisters moved forward with the grace of both a snowflake and a physical fighter, much like Snow, and Tidus began to understand why Snow had this Aeon at his disposal. Well, if Snow was a summoner, it was a Guardian's duty to protect a summoner with his life! But still, this dark aggressor that had forced them into battle was pretty damn fast, not only with his after-image he left behind, but casting up the flame pillars in a surprise attack as well. In reminder, Tidus felt like he wanted to spit lividly at the man for not looking him in the eye when he struck him down, but instead remembered Yuna's beautiful smile and her words at what she would say to him in that sitatuion if he got mad. (Keep smiling, she would say. I would give Yuna a reason to keep smiling again, by keeping this world we shared so many memories in - new and old -from sinking into darkness once again.)
"You're a coward!" Tidus chidingly yelled at the man, who somehow reminded him so much of that guy Sephiroth from the war of the gods in appearence, but like Snow appearences were vastly decieving. But there was a smile on his lips, and as battle damaged as he was, cast out a hand in gesture after having bunched it before him in a fist before his face. "Why don't you relax, take it easy?" he humored arrogantly, and around the avatar of Sephiroth, time seemingly appeared to gradually decrease in motion. Slow would appeal to the reality around the youth to chillax and gradually his movements and his powers would begin to feel sluggish as well. Sluggish enough that he would have a hard time avoiding Pirouette from the Shiva sister, if somehow he had found a way to avoid the pressure Snow and Tidus had been keeping him on his toes thus far, much less make this battle much more difficult for him.
Didn't matter if tomorrow this guy would return and do the same thing - tomorrow wasn't going to come unless he beat this guy today, and when he and Snow did, Spira would be a much better place for it.
Actions used:
Action One: Cast Waterga underneath Kadaj, forcing him to be air-tossed/juggled into the air if not destabilizing the footing he needs while casting Flame Pillar.
Waterga: Being his element, Tidus uses this black magic spell whenever physical attacks just won't cut it. A pillar of water bursts from underneath the opponent wherever they may be standing or physically are, inflicting water damage around them instantaneously. Cooldown: Three posts.
Action Two: Kicked off Kadaj while diving through the Flame Pillars Snow had watered down with his Waterga, which was the first part needed for Energy Rain, which he then fired down upon Kadaj to hit him after Snow got out of the way from finishing Soverign Fist.
Energy Rain: Tidus attempts to dive down on his opponent and land his heel on them, and once he connects he pushes off with that heal above them. Then conjuring up a non-elemental magic in his sword, four homing wisps of magic are released as he swings his sword and rain down on the targeted enemy. Also crushes guards if the enemy attempts to guard, block, or parry a blow. Cooldown: Three posts.
Action Three: Helped Snow and the Shiva Sisters land attacks by casting Slow on Kadaj.
Slow: Targeting one opponent, Tidus uses this negative time magic to take away one turn's worth of a cooldown recharge from all their abilities. For example, let's say Seymour had used Blizzaga and it was one turn away from finishing its cooldown to be used again, if Tidus cast Slow on him then on his next turn then Blizzaga would still be on a one-turn cooldown to delay it from being cast. This power lasts for a short time though, and soon the enemy will return to normal speed. Duration: One turn. Cooldown: Three posts.
Damage received: A weakened, but surprised Draw Slash to the back due to After Image been experienced for the first time, burns, muscle ache & fall damage/injury from landing.
Cooldowns still in effect:
Sonic Buster - One turn has passed and is ready to use.
Cheer - Two more rounds to finish.
