There was a gathering of warriors on a far away world. Many powerful men and women had all come to one single place to fight it out for the control of the world. It was impossible to tell who was there, all the strong auras of both Light and Dark were mixing into each other, to the point that actually made it possible to feel such a thing from another world altogether. That was one theory anyway. The other could just simply be that the silver-haired youth walking the massive plains of Spira's Calm Lands was going insane. Probably the latter really. He was a Remnant f Sephiroth at the end of the day and The Chosen One himself eventually went crazy when learning the truth about what he was. The silver-haired youth knew the truth about himself from day one, but he simply accepted it for what it was without questioning. It was only after his death and all these new worlds showing up did Kadaj decide to question things.
What was Light? What was Darkness? Why did each one want to fight the other and wrestle control over the worlds? What true purpose did these worlds hold? Ah, whatever. Too many unanswerable questions were starting to bore the young man anyway. He preferred action at the end of the day.
Spira's gorgeous sun was shining down over the Calm Lands as usual, casting a very pleasant glow over the large, grassy plain. Birds sung in the air as they flew by, various fiends were seen doing whatever it was they did in their daily routines in the distance, mostly packs of Dingo's barking at the odd Flan that glooped by. A smirk tugged at the lips of the silver-haired youth as his cat-like eyes viewed the entertaining sight. Half of the Calm Lands had been turned into some sort of... amusement park though. Like the Golden Saucer back on Gaia, but more... well... rubbish. It involved different species of monsters to carry out different roles of entertainment for the masses. And the masses were indeed here to entertain themselves. Children, parents, elderly. One could see the attraction to such a place, unknown to Kadaj that these Calm Lands would never be used for the final battlefield of Summon against Sin again. Humans had to do what they could to make money at the end of the day, right?
"Step right up son!! Step right up! You think you got what it takes to win Lupine Dash?!" A cheerful middle-aged man shouted out to the silver-haired youth that just so happened to stride a tad too close to the fiend-powered event. Pausing his movements, Kadaj glanced over his left shoulder, eyes glowing behind his silver hair that stared at the event host curiously. No words left the Remnant's mouth mind and even before he could say anything, the Lupine Dash organizer spoke up once more. "It's really easy, kid! You see these fine examples of Dingo? You just need to pick which one you think will win the race! Easy huh?!" Kadaj turned his body fully to face the man before him, leather creaking subtly as it tightened and shifted about his slender figure.
"This is what passes for entertainment these days? Kadaj's voice was soft, yet carried a lingering darkness to each word. "Better to keep these fiends under control like this over having them run amok the Calm Lands! Someone might get hurt!" "Yes... a shame if someone got hurt." Kadaj turned and walked away from the middle-aged man, ignoring whatever other words came after him. This place was a waste of time and the very thought of people coming to a place like this just to have fun, made Kadaj's skin crawl. He understood the concept of having fun. Boys with kites, girls with dolls, teenagers playing Blitzball or cards. It was just that this wonderfully large open area was being wasted. People came here to gather, talk, share stories, spend Gil. What a waste. This area was fantastic for a great battle, like days of old!
It only needed someone to get the ball rolling. Someone to push the snowball from atop the hill and watch it tumble and grow. A gigantic scar ran the length of the Calm Lands on it's northern edge and after a few minutes walking, Kadaj found himself peering down into the darkness of the chasm before him. Strange... firefly-like creatures were floating all around this place, singing or humming, making some sort of noise anyway. A confused expression had riddled itself across Kadaj's face as he arched an eyebrow and questioned what these things were in his thoughts. Was this chasm naturally formed? There was certainly some form of Darkness brewing in it's depths and it was possibly this that caught Kadaj's attention the most. Leather clothing creaking as Kadaj slowly sliding his left arm behind his back, gloved fingers taking grip of the handle of his Souba. Slowly, the dual-bladed weapon was tugged from it's sheath and brought about to it's wielders front.
Peering at the mirror-like blades, Kadaj tilted the weapon until he saw his reflection upon which he smirked at. Hauling his left arm up, the silver-haired youth took a firm grip of the handle with both hands before he turned the weapon about so the blades pointed to the floor. After a second, the Remnant of Sephiroth thrust the Souba down into the grassy floor, impaling the blade into the ground with a heavy thud. A moment passed and soon a dark, near-black substance started to seep out of the Souba's blade from where it was buried into the ground. The grass, the rocks, the dirt... it all slowly started to turn a black-purple as Geostigma was slowly released upon this world. Slowly, the putrid disease started to make it's way down into the depths of the rift where the entire Calm Lands suddenly shook due to the Darkness residing down there being disturbed, fluctuating. Maybe this would cause some attention? Maybe this would provide a means of 'entertainment'?

Another day's been laid to waste, in my disgrace
[/div][/sub]
Spira had just been cleansed once again from plunging into darkness and it's never ending spiral of death. So it could go on for another day, without people living in absolute fear they would be killed or lose their loves ones at any moment, like when Sin was a reality. Warriors of Light and Darkness were already gathered on this world, but it was not in anticipation for the events that were about to happen. A group of Light warriors were heading out from Luca, having already become fast friends and looking for a way to unwind from recent events, and with everything shut down after the blitzball tournament the Calm Lands seemed like the perfect place to chill out and relax. What they weren't counting on in the near future was a warrior of darkness had joined them to party in their own unsubtle way.
The Calm Lands, long ago here was the final battle between Sin and the summoner, who had sacrificed one of his guardians to become the Final Aeon. A lie that had been put into practice for thousands of years for the Final Aeon to become the new Sin, and the summoner die from the experience, in order for Sin and it's puppetmaster Yu Yevon to be immortal though it's terrible cycle and gain the faith of believers for their dark cult. Who knows how many countless summoners and guardians before them gave up their lives to rid themselves of Sin, only to die for nothing, but Tidus and his friends all finally broke that cycle of death and suffering after learning the ugly truth. Now the lands filled with canyons and scars of the tremendous battle with Sin, was actually calm, filled with tourist attractions and games for the young and old. Spira was finally at peace, which was rare for a world without constant war to be celebrating.
Tidus was one of these warriors that fought for light and harmony, and all he wanted to do after a hard day's work was just uncoil all that tension he had been building up. Rikku had suggested the games here, which he and Yuna had come to once on a date before, but never really fully got to explore obviously as the date lost it's focues from the games. He smiled at the memory, warm sun shining down across clear blue sky, and gazed out upon the expanse of the Calm Lands before him. (I told Yuna I would find a way, and we did. Granted, it wasn't the way I was expecting, but it was a way none the less. To break conformity and what was expected of Yuna with the Yevon religion, going against everything she and her father had been taught, we carved our own story in history here. I wanted to believe words could make it come true, but words were not enough. It was the actions we took with our hearts, and the consequences that we endured that followed, that was enough to save her. It didn't matter that the world almost sunk into darkness and destruction... it was enough knowing she was safe, and as long as we had each other that mattered. We did actually save the world though, a place that was still here as reward for our trials, and held all our fond memories. And that was enough, or we would not be here.) he thought in silent monologue to himself.
He looked over at Rikku, who had been there too, and had been valiant and instrumental in saving her cousin's life. She had been with her through thick and thin, and had been with Tidus as well with the idea that they'd break tradition and find a way to save someone they both loved. She could have left them there too, but she stuck with everyone and was just as valued a member of the group for putting an end to Sin. Granted, in his year or more of his absence, he wasn't too sure about her new taste of clothing with wearing a mini-skirt over a bikini. But he wasn't one to judge her after sticking with her cousin and taking care of her while he had been gone, and he felt like she was the little sister he never had, so of course he wasn't going to agree with everything the blond thief was going to do.
He glanced over and looked to the other one that had joined them, Snow. Snow had joined his party when he needed to form a blitzball team to infiltrate Seymour's plans, and he was a damn fine goalie. Not only that, but from talking about their pasts and their worlds to get to know him before the match had started, Snow sounded like he had also gone through a difficult ordeal similar to his own. They seemed to have a lot in common, not just being blonds with great physiques, but also they were just simple guys who did whatever they could for what they were passionate about including saving the people they loved and their world. People might critique them all for being dumb and blond, and not being able to take a hint but really, who cared what other people thought? As long as they were friends, it didn't matter.
Probably the most fun game here was called Gull Wing Force, and Tidus was making a bee-line straight to it, not paying much mind to some sort of argument going over at the Lupine Dash game. It was just a game, what was there to be so serious about, really? Making his way over to the booth, he was about to approach the vendor when suddenly, the very earth shook beneath their feet. An earthquake? Tidus stumbled and braced himself against one of the stalls, and was about to believe this was true, if hadn't spotted the ever-growing darkness forming over by the cliff with his peripheral vision. He gave one silent look to his friends to check they were not hurt by the earth moving, giving them a short nod that silently meant 'let's go check it out', before running carefully across the tembling earth over to the northern cliff.
Stopping just before the swarming black mass, he could see as he approached closer the same guy that had been arguing with the vendor of the Lupine Dash game. Black leather outfit, long silver hair, apart from the intimidating color of his attire he didn't recognise him of anyone he had met before. Clutching a sword stabbed into the earth which was releasing all the darkness, he wasn't resisting against it to try and pull it out, so why in Spira was he trying to stab it into the earth? "Hey! Are you crazy!? All that darkness and shaking is going to destroy our world! Look, buddy, I just saved this world from sinking into darkness once, and I'm not going to let a stranger like you do it again! So stop that, right now!" Tidus had to shout over the violent earthquake, and the sound of teaming darkness. But he hadn't drawn his weapon yet, because he didn't know this individual, and was trying to peacefully resolve the situation with just words.
Just like Seymour...
And if rationalizing like a mature adult didn't work? He'd have to stop him the hard way.

The shaking of the earth, the rumbling of rocks and grinding of the earth continued so long as the silver-haired youth remained crouched beside the twin-bladed sword stabbed into the ground. The oozing black darkness that was sliding down into the rift, staining the world black, continued to seek out the Darkness of this world, to feed upon it, to awaken it. The world itself looked normal enough from an outside perspective; the sun shining, the birds singing, the gathered crowds here to enjoy the events and games held within the Calm Lands. But the arrival of the earthquake had caused panic through the massive plain. The fiends used for the games started to grow unruly, the hosts and event managers all tried to gather their things and keep the valuables safe from either shattering upon the floor or breaking from the movement of the earth. The earth itself, deep within the scar across the northern boarder of the Calm Lands, started to groan itself, as if the Darkness starting to plague it was causing pain, suffering.
Hardly any of the strange black, oil-like liquid seemed to go behind the silver-haired Remnant as most of it slid down into the rift. Kadaj cared not for this world. It could remain in the Light for all he cared, but what he was doing now, was a much more effective technique to bring out the so called 'heroes of the Light' over randomly slaughtering innocents. They were a plague in their own right, seeking out Users of Darkness and putting them to the sword just because they had different motives, different ambitions. Everyone only wanted to bring peace to the worlds of Kingdom Hearts, but it was never going to happen so long as both Light and Darkness existed solely to battle one another. But was that even why Kadaj was tainting this world with his Geostigma? Was he actually fighting for the Darkness to defeat the Light, or was he here for other means and goals?
A voice echoed over the vibrations of the earth, sounding concerned with what was happening. A local, perhaps? Some stupid civilian coming to brave the odds and stop the leather-clad youth from his actions? Not likely... They spoke of Darkness... spoke of saving this world once before. A Hero of Light then, just so happened to be visiting this world at the time? The crouched figure clad in black did not move for the time being, remained poised with his hands gripped tight about the wrapped handle of his Souba, continuing to purge the ground with his foul disease. The Calm Lands groaned once more as the Darkness dwelling deep within it's core shifting, causing some of the cliffs on the opposite side of the rift to crumble and collapse down into the chasm below. Soon enough though, the silver-haired youth released his grip on the impaled blade and stood up, glowing eyes glancing down into the scar of the Calm Lands.
"Everyone will become one with Darkness. Become one with me!" Kadaj spoke up as he turned around slowly to lock his cold gaze onto the blonde-haired youth who had approached him. This boy was unfamiliar, yet his heart emitted an aura of Light, powerful enough that he was different to those who came to visit the Calm Lands and enjoy the games held here. Throwing both his arms out to either side of him, his fingers extending into open palms, Kadaj lowered his head a fraction and took a step forth towards the Blitzball Player, watching him with a deathly cold glare. "You should be honoured to be the first to join me! We will create our own Promised Land! Right here! Right now!" Turning his back on the energetic young man, Kadaj stepped back towards the embedded blade and took firm grip of the handle, where upon he tugged the blade free from the earth, the vibrations and spreading of the Darkness stopping instantly.
Whirling around again to lock eyes on this brave soul before him, Kadaj cracked a dark smirk and threw up his left arm, pointed the twin bladed weapon in the blonde's direction. Stepping forwards, the creaking of leather subtle shifted about the silver-haired youth as his slender figure eerily approached the blonde, his boots stepping into and through the black, oozing Darkness without seemingly being effected by it. "Anyone who stands in my way will die! Absolute Darkness will claim every world! There is no hope, no resisting, no stopping me!" Kadaj's voice was dark, as black as the very ground he walked upon. Continuing to walk forwards, the silver-haired youth eventually reached the edge of the tainted ground and stepped off onto the soft, crisp grass underfoot, his glowing cat-like eyes flashing brightly as he remained staring intently at the young man before him.

Rikku was enjoying herself in the midst of the festivities, watching over a few of the younger foals that were there. She'd come here with Tidus, an old friend of hers, as well as a new friend. Snow Villiers, who apparently came from a world much like their own. All Rikku really knew about Snow was the fact that he was a fine goalie, as Tidus was constantly bringing up.
The world had been in an eternal calm ever since Sin had been defeated. She'd grown up, having created a sphere hunting group with her cousin Yuna and their friend, Paine. As of late, though, both of the other fillies had spent most of their time in different directions, leaving Rikku to her own intelligence. When she'd run into Tidus again, the Al Bhed had jumped at the chance to hang with him again.
Hearing a small squabble near the Lupine Dash, Rikku turned to look about. She eyed a silver haired youth, male, perhaps..? He wasn't of this world, but then again.. A lot of odd things had happened in Spira over the times. Rikku's eyes watched the male, before shaking her head. 'He's just enjoying the view..'
Turning back to the foals, Rikku felt an awful tremor rock the Calm Lands. Turning her head towards Tidus, Rikku heard him yelling towards the gorge, where the silver haired male was stabbing the ground. An unearthly black...shadow...was making its way across the grounds. It apparently came from the odd blade he'd stabbed into the ground..
"O-Oi! What the hay are you doing!?"

Snow was enjoying this new world of Spira. There were so many different people, so many different places. On Cocoon, it was the same old thing. Same type of people, same type of cities...the only thing different about them was the location. They were all kept the same way, they were all run the same way. The reason for this was the Cocoon fal'Cie that oversaw the happenings of every city in Cocoon. Snow favored Bodhum, though. Despite Bodhum being a city run by the fal'Cie in the same matter that every other city was, it still had a beach, and his best friends were there and that was where his own personal army was based. However, what made Bodhum sweet was Serah Farron, Snow's bride-to-be. He sure did miss her and his friends, not just those that were in the NORA army, but those that fought alongside him against Barthandelus. However, Snow didn't lose hope, he was going to find him, it was only a matter of time...
But for now, he had company. Two other blondes were with him, one whom he already knew and one that was beginning to get know about. One of them went by the name of Tidus...oddly, Snow didn't get a last name out of him. Tidus was pretty awesome, in Snow's opinion. He met him during the blitzball tournament and immediately, the two became quick, but great friends. Tidus actually reminded Snow a lot of himself. He was looking at the bright side of things, just as Snow would often try to find himself doing, in order to help his friends. Though, in Snow's case, it is often mistaken of not caring at all. Snow and Tidus shared background stories, too. Snow learned about Tidus's struggles and Snow developed an admiration for how he handled himself. The other blonde went by the name of Rikku. Snow liked being around her too. Whenever Snow talked to her, fond memories of Rikku came to the mind of the burly hero. Although, Rikku seemed to be in more control of her hyperactivity. Rikku was like a controlled frenzy in Snow's eyes. Vanille was a bit outlandish, he recalled the time Vanille went up to a sheep and literally pulled a tuft of wool from it for no reason at all.
Snow found himself in what was called the Calm Lands with Rikku and Tidus. However, to Snow, it was Gran Pulse but with attractions. Snow could get used to this, though. At least there were no gigantic turtles or behemoths stomping around trying to crush everything they saw. Snow walked with Tidus and Rikku toward an attraction called "Gull Wing Force". Funny name for an attraction was what Snow thought. He wished his "family" could have been here to see this. Vanille, Hope, and Sazh's son Dajh would have had a field day here. He could also see Sazh and Fang participating...Gadot, Yuj, Lebreau, and Maqui too. However, Lightning...would...probably just stand there with her arms crossed over her chest, staring down Snow whenever he was with Serah. Snow found himself chuckling at the thought of Lightning's face staring at Snow as if to say "Don't try anything "fresh", Hero...". It was then that...something strange happened...
An earthquake started up and he looked to Rikku and Tidus, Tidus made the motion that he might have found something or someone that was causing this disturbance. Tidus also made the motion to follow him and Snow complied, running in the direction that Tidus was running, with Rikku following. It was then that they found a figure...a scrawny silver haired man in a black jumpsuit... Tidus asked him what he was doing and the silver haired individual started talking all kinds of mess about "Darkness" and "The Promised Land". He then stopped the earthquake and the black substance that was going everywhere. That was when this man's motives were clear to Snow. Snow rolled his eyes, as if to say, "Here we go again, don't these guys ever take a break?!" It was clear what this man was trying to do, he was trying to do the same thing that his opponent was trying to do on the last world Snow was at. Snow looked around him, taking in the consequences that the Calm Lands suffered due to the silver haired man's actions. Snow shook his head in disappointment. Snow patted Rikku on the shoulder and stepped forward. Snow had been trying the whole "Ask questions first..." thing, but the fact that this man's motives were as clear as day...Snow was getting a tiny bit annoyed. Nevertheless, he tried to back his new friends up...only he wasn't as nice, but then again, since when was Snow ever nice to the bad guys?
"Hey, listen, skin-n'-bones...we don't want any trouble, alright? I'm sure you got a family so why don't you just put away your sword, pack up your "Darkness" and go home?"

Feels like I'll never leave this place; there's no escape
[/div][/sub]
(Theme for this post: Face-off)
It sure looked like stopping this wasn't going to work the easy way.
What was this darkness pouring out of the sword of this guy? The ground shook radically, and even in the bright sunlight of day it was hard to tell exactly what it's nature was, even if it was similar to the Heartless. One thing was for sure, anything that had to do with the dark of night, was positively evil. The events between his pilgrimage as a guardian and when he had come back were hazy at best, but what he knew of darkness was what he had experienced with the dark, cruel flames within Seymour Guado's heart, and the dark times brought about by Sin when he had emerged. And though all those times, Yuna smiled for everyone to keep their spirits up, and Tidus had to as well so she wouldn't see him worry.
So really, what was the point of getting worked up over this one guy they were going to stop?
The black, oil-like darkness continued to seethe and sink down into the dark abyss, which Tidus realized now the young man with silver hair had targeted because of all the darkness down in the depths of the crevasse Sin had caused. But the surrounding untouched plains were still brown and green, the sky was still blue, and for one thing there was now still a smile on Tidus's face. Blond eyebrows furrowed as the blitz ace smirked at the man clad in black leather, but it wasn't just to put on a brave face for everyone else's sake, including the Spiran locals nearby that were clinging terrified to the grassy earth underfoot. Why exactly was this young man trying to cloak this world, that he and his friends had fought so hard for to keep out of the darkness of death and destruction, in the purest of darkness? There could be many reasons as he was a complete stranger to him, but just how far was he willing to go to do so, and was he really ready to face the consequence of his actions right in the eye?
There was a deep, groaning sound coming from deep within the depths of the chasm for a second time, and it provoked a sense of urgency that the damage done to the land could be irreversible. The star player watched as the man with glowing eyes stand up from his grasp on the sword plunged into the dirt, looking deep down with a intense, fixated stare into the canyon flourishing with darkness. He listened, and it was clear the male was very much like Seymour in one significant way; he was a basketcase. Talking about how everyone would become one with him as the darkness, and something about a 'promised land', it was quite clear in his pursuit of darkness he had clearly lost his sanity like the leader of the Guados had. "You're crazy! The only thing we'll be creating is a lot of hurt on your hide if you don't stop spreading all that darkness around!"
Rikku hadn't said much, but Snow had pretty much told the guy to give up and go home, but Tidus knew this wasn't exactly going to fly with this mysterious dark stranger. Tidus knew this guy was trouble the moment he saw him, just like Seymour, and he had already warned him to stop that had gone unheeded. The guy had pulled his sword out of the ground, and had pointed it at him; it looked like a shorter version of Auron's katanas, but it had two prongs instead of one. Sure, the guy had the nerve to level his bladed weapon at him, and a veiled threat to accompany it about more darkness. But did he walk the walk as much as talk the talk, to put his money where his mouth was, and was Tidus willing to give this untrustworthy stranger the chance to do so?
"He's not going to listen, Snow. But he's wrong. Dead wrong! I don't know about darkness and all that junk about the promised land, but as long as we have free will and the right to fight for what we love, there's always hope. I'll give my life for it. But I don't think you have the guts to look me in the eye and take it from me." The once dream of the fayth didn't exactly open his arms in welcome as the silver-haired youth stepped towards him, stepping through the black smoke of the suffocating darkness to the soft green grass, but instead stood proud and tall with his hands remaining by his sides. "If you want to try and bring darkness to this world, I won't be the last person you go through if you think you can take me on, and I'll make sure that I'll drag it out for a very long time if you think you can take me. As strong as you think you are, you'll be worn down from exhaustion before you know it. Starting to look like it's a much larger job than you first realized?" He lifted his arms up by his sides, flexing his bare chest and abs, showing there was no weapon in his hands. "If you think taking this world will be so easy!? If you do, you'll have to go through more people than just me alone. So c'mon, take your best shot! Right here, right now, run me through! But I'll be damned if you can take away my choice to make a stand for this world, so look me in the eye if you can stab me with that sword, and don't tell me this isn't my... no, our story!"
He didn't trust the man, and was going to summon Brotherhood to him at a moment's notice should he be so callous and bold enough to strike, but in the meantime Tidus starred down into the orbs of this glowing-eyed man to further emphasize the point he was making as he waited for him to dare to make the first move.

((Apologies if this post is rubbish. I had to type it on my phone. Don't have the internet yet in my new house ^^; ) At last. It took a little bit of effort with the whole releasing of Geostigma into the ground but at least the effort paid off. Better then expected to be honest. Not one and nor two either, but instead three heroes of the Light had responded to the releasing of Geostigma. Perhaps it was more of the Darkness sleeping in this world, shaking and being disturbed in it's dormant state that caused the heroes to show up, but the result was the same either way. Two men and a woman, all blonde-haired and each pretty young. No matter. Let anyone of the Light come fight! The more the merrier!
Taking a moment to browse the selection of heroes before him, Kadaj ignored the remarks each and all of them made towards him. Of the two men, the taller one in the long coat didn't appear to be in much of the mood for a fight. Maybe he had just finished a long journey or something? The lack of a weapon being drawn meant he was either overly confident or his weapon of choice was his fists. Due to those gloves he wore, it seemed possible. Unless this tall man could throw out spells, his attacks were limited in range. He'd have to get close to dk damage and being close was just the way the silver-haired youth liked it! The other man seemed to be taking things more seriously, maybe he was a resident of thisnworld? Though his clothes did not seem to indicate this, perhaps there were deeper reasons that Kadaj cared not to know. This shorter man also had no weapon drawn and he too wore gloves. Two close range, hand-to-hand fighters? That seemed unlikely... While the shorter youth obviously worked out, his muscles seen easily due to his attire, he looked more build for sport over martial arts.
The woman seemed oblivious to what was going on, more interested in the games nearby and taking to her male companions over taking note of the evil nearby. She could easily and safely be ignored. Kadaj's attention was returned to the men as they both stepped forth in an attempt to stop the further spreading of Geostigma. Kadaj narrowed his eyes as he tilted his head, Scuba in hand as he listened to what each anthem had to say. Same stuff, different day mind you. As such Kadaj just grinned and shook his head from silent side. "Stop wasting my time and your own. Hurry up and draw your weapons so I can cut you all down and bring you to The Promised Land." The cold voice of the silver-haired youth eeriely slipping though his lips as leather gloves creaked softly as they took a firmer grip on his weapons handle. Cat-like eyes glowed omniously as they flicked to The shorter blonde-haired man, whom stepped forth and rather foolishly proclaimed to the Remnant to give him his best shot. What trick was this? The blitzball player had no clue whom he was dealing with. "As you wish..."
In the same moment as the silver-haired Remnant had finished speaking, he took a single step forwards before raising his Scuba up over his head, the twin blades glistening in the bright sunlight as the Remnant seemed to pause and hold he position. At the same instant, as the After Image hopefully held Tidus' attention long enough, the real Kadaj had suddenly appeared behind the young Blitzball player, a dangerous white glow covering the entire length of both the Souba's blades. As the After Image smirked as if it were signaling its own attack, the real silver-haired youth swung his twin bladed katana out swiftly, a rip of energy erupting from the weapon as a Draw Slash
was sent out towards the small of Tidus' back. Lets see how he liked that as proof of as much bite as he had bark! [/blockquote]

Snow knew very well that he was going to get any info from the bad guys, he couldn't just beat them down. It was clear that this guy was evil. All this crazy psycho talk about the "Promised Land" and whatnot. This guy was blatantly evil...he was evil on purpose, he didn't even try to hide it. Snow hadn't met a guy like him before. Nowadays, Snow would usually run into those types of people that were really evil but they wouldn't really say so. He then remember the blue haired organization member that he met a while back. He jumped around every question Snow gave him and when he didn't jump around every question, he would answer Snow's question with a question, which frustrated the mess out of Snow. Although, this was not the case with silver haired psycho before them. Much like how Snow will outwardly say that he was a good guy, this guy was comfortable in his alignment with evil... Snow knew a fight was coming and so did Tidus...
Tidus spoke out to the silver haired man with vigor, stating that the psycho had to go through him and Snow and even if he did, there were too many people for them not to be avenged. Snow smirked at Tidus as he spoke. Tidus was beginning to remind Snow of himself more and more. Tidus spoke like a true hero, he told Snow that the silver haired psycho was not gonna listen. That much was obvious to even Snow; he was practicing diplomacy but Snow made a weak attempt at it, knowing full well that this man was beyond convincing. What was worse was that this man wanted to fight; he had asked Snow and Tidus to draw their weapons. It was then that Tidus began to provoke the crazy man in the black jumpsuit. When Tidus did that, that was when Snow knew, without a doubt that the fight was starting. Snow tore his eyes away from Tidus and toward the crazy man. Snow had to keep an eye on him just in case he tried something and since he knew he was going to, Snow knew that it was now time to fight.
Snow began to activate his weapon, the Wild Bear. The Wild Bear was a trenchcoat of AMP technology which held strength boosting emblems in the forms of various patches that resemble the face of a bear and runes sewn onto the back of his jacket. These patches and runes made themselves known as they began to fade into visibility. Snow pounded his fists together, letting his battle spirit radiate from his burly, muscular body. He watched as the silver haired man raised his sword above his head, he seemed to be charging an attack and Snow was gonna stop him before he launched that attack. Snow sprinted to the man and looked to put him away quickly. Once Snow got to the silver haired man, he tried to give him a "haymaker", a punch with all of Snow's might to knock out this silver haired man but his punch went right through the man. The look of shock on Snow's face was evident as he watched the man fade away. He then looked around to see if he could find him. Snow erratically looked all around him and spotted a figure in black, his eyes widened as he saw the crazed man behind Tidus. Snow pointed past Tidus toward the silver haired psycho and then sprinted toward Tidus and stopped.
"Tidus, hit the deck, quick!!!"
He then opened up his two palms and energy began to gather in his two palms. Snow decided to use the attack Ruin, which was an energy ball attack which also exploded upon contact with any surface. Once and if Tidus trusted Snow and hit the ground, Snow threw the orbs in the direction of the silver haired psycho quickly, hoping to stop whatever the crazed man was trying to do and if he wasn't then Snow hoped that the attack would put him down...
Actions Taken:
Action #1: Snow ran to hit Kadaj only to find out it was a decoy.
Action #2: Snow sees Kadaj behind him and launches a Ruin attack to hit Kadaj and potentially stop whatever attack was coming Tidus's way.
Powers Used:
Ruin: This is a non-elemental attack. Snow simply conjures up a medium sized ball of energy and he throws it at his opponent. Snow can throw two at a time. (1 post cooldown)

I'm giving up
[/div][/sub]
(Theme for this post: FFX Battle (METAL VERSION))
What in all of Spira was this guy's problem? He had said a bunch of nonsense in his ramblings, then he told them to shut up and draw their weapons? That was pretty much not on either end of the spectrum the kind of response Tidus was expecting, as he called the man's bluff to see if he had the steel ball bearings to actually do something about bringing darkness to this world, and strike them down. "Rikku, go get the others. Go!" he urged to her, just like he did when Seymour appeared out of nowhere to the Guardians on Mount Gagazet not far from here. He didn't know if she heard him or not, or if she knew what he meant when he said the 'others', but before he knew it she was gone.
The blitzball player thought he saw something black and silver dart away from the youth before him after he said he would grant him his wish, as he poised his sword above himself as if to strike him down, and Tidus awaited with little patience for the strike to come. Before either of them could do anything, Snow had come running forward and clocked the man with his fist, but the man had disappeared into thin air as if nothing. What the heck? This wasn't anything Tidus had ever seen or dealt with before, as far as he could remember, that was for sure. Was it some kind of trick, or had the man really vanished into thin air?
Snow had been looking around for him as Tidus did as well, but when the warning came, it was too late for Tidus to register. "Huh, wha-?" Before he could even move to either duck or turn around, he felt a sharp pain in the small of his back, a wave of energy washing through him as he reeled forward uncontrollably in flinching from it. He hadn't seen the Ruin attack Snow shot in an attempt to cancel it out, but the resulting splash damage from the explosion had still washed into him. "AHH!" he yelled, and flailed his hands out before him as he staggered forward, in a attempt to stop himself from faceplanting on the ground. He stumbled into a kneeling position as the attack ended, the pain subsiding as he grunted annoyingly. The Brotherhood appeared in his hands after he pushed himself up and off the ground, turning around as he did, the tension of the fight snapping as well as his patience and temper.
"Start! Drop down!" The moment he turned around, he zipped just as quickly as Kadaj had separated from his after image as he became a blurr, attempting to slice his sword through him and appearing behind him. He repeated this just as quickly as he flipped in mid-air and then again as he ascended through the air, making a Z-pattern as his Brotherhood aura trailed behind him. Once he had finished Sonic Buster, he turned around a final time after the execution to savagely head-butt the silver-head with his own, landing on the ground. As he did, he wasn't frowning anymore. He was smiling.
"I ain't drawing my sword for you! I'll do it for myself, and to take you down, if that's what you really want! I'll come out of this... with a smile!" Pumping his fist and forearm up before him in a Cheer, energy washed over both him and Snow, doubling their offense and defensive capabilities. This guy might have caught him off-guard with something completely new and out of this world, but Tidus lived for a challenge, the stronger the better! This guy was in for a world of hurt if he thought strength and speed alone would win this battle that had erupted onto the Calm Lands of Spira, though!
Actions used:
Action One: Blitzed forward in anger with Sonic Buster.
Sonic Buster: Like Full Side except on the ground, Tidus charges through his opponents twice before knocking them down a third time. This attack has the effect of knocking the opponent into a wall, ceiling or the ground. Cooldown: One turn.
Action Two: Did a full-on brutal head-smash.
Action Three: Cheered himself and Snow on with Cheer.
Cheer: His encouragement as a leader giving positive re-enforcement to his allies, Tidus's cheer can come in a buff form that surrounds his party members with a water-blue aura that doubles their offense and defense. Duration: One turn only. Cooldown: Three posts.
Damage received: A weakened, but surprised Draw Slash to the back due to After Image been experienced for the first time.

Turquoise eyes with cat-like pupils watched with a great deal of amusement as the trio of Heroes whittled down from three to two, the youngest and only female of the group dashing off at the shorter males command to fetch the 'others'. Already calling for backup, was he? Either he was very aware of what was about to come, or like every other coward of the Light, he wanted as many numbers on his side as possible to beat down the single enemy before him. Who knew? Who cared? The effect of introducing Geostigma to this world was not going to have any long term effects due to the short amount of time the silver-haired youth had spent concentrating on releasing the foul disease upon this world. Enough was present where upon contact with the strand of JENOVA Cells, the victim would ultimately fall under JENOVA's control, but with the 'Mother' of Sephiroth out of the equation for the time being, who knew exactly what would happen were either the taller or shorter blonde-haired men dare get the oily pus-like substance upon their skin.
No, not enough time was allowed for a serious contamination of the world, but enough time was given for the earthquake and the flaring of Darkness to attract some attention. And this was it, two men of Light, both feeling strong and capable in both in and out of battle. But there was a better way to put this to the test then by looking alone. Indeed, as Snow had charged forth in what looked like an attempt to halt the silver-haired Remnant from attacking, the trench coat clad male would find his fist passing straight through the After Image of the Avatar of Sephiroth, a smug grin spreading across the fakes features as it faded away as if it had turned to dust and got caught within the passing winds. At the same moment, the real villain of Darkness had prepared his attack, a powerful Draw Slash which was fired to the small of Tidus' back with a loud sound of energy and wind being released together. A foreign flash of light was present however, one that did not belong within the mix of the blade of energy that was going outward from the Remnant. No, this strange new light seemed to be coming towards him... an attack from the enemy? Not from the one in shorts though - he was too busy having to deal with keeping his balance from the force of Draw Slash- so it must have been the man in the trench who fell victim to the After Image.
The right arm of the leather-clad youth shot up, his attire creaking as it tightened about his torso and shoulders when noticing the incoming spell from one of the Heroes. An explosion enveloped the gloved hand of the Remnant that actually had enough kick to throw his arm back, forcing the young silver-haired man to recoil, stepping back with his right foot to catch his balance, saving himself from tumbling down onto is back. Grass crunched underfoot as the durable leather boot stomped down onto the floor, dirt scratching against the boot's sole as it skidded slightly in a struggle to maintain grip. As the dust settled from the Ruin attack, a smirk was seen plastered across the Remnant's face as sharp, glowing eyes focused clearly upon Snow, the only one here who could have been responsible for launching that spell. So he was more about action over words, eh? That's absolutely fine. In fact, Kadaj preferred that. What was the point of spouting hot air like a kettle when words were not going to change anything here? Either the Heroes fight and try and fend off the 'bad guy' or they can watch their world turn to Darkness. The choice was that simple. No other options were available. These boys will fight, they will lose, they'd become part of the Remnant and this world would then turn to Dark, making it a part of the Promised Land.
If things went the other way though, if these blonde-haired men had what it took to fight off the silver-haired youth, he'd only returned at a later day, stronger then before to try again. Attention was turned away from Snow and off towards the voice a short distance away, one speaking only three worlds, but enough for Kadaj to figure out what was going on. The boy who took the Draw Slash attack was retaliating and by speaking what he did, the Remnant was now prepared. As Tidus appeared through the dust, Kadaj brought his Souba up to his right hand side, his left hand griping the wrapped handle tightly. With a swift swing, matching the first strike the Blitzball Player made, Kadaj connected steel upon steel of the now summoned Brotherhood to knock the blade out of harms way, allowing the Zanarkand Ace pro to zip past and take his flank. Kadaj didn't turn though, as he was sure the other male in the trench coat would back his pal up with another spell or by dashing forth and throwing a punch or a kick. ..... But it never came. No, instead a sharp slice shot through the Remnant's back as Tidus comboed up, slashing his impressive Brotherhood sword hard into his spine. Kadaj recoiled forwards, stumbling from the blow and only just managed to catch his balance in time to launch a counter. As the third strike from this gravity-defying young man homed in, a second loud echoing crash of steel hitting steel 'pinged' throughout the Calm Lands as the silver-haired youth swung the dual-bladed Souba up to parry away the strike.
"You're pretty fast." The silver-haired youth complimented as he swung his Souba around his left hand, flicking it between his thumb and fingers as if it were a pencil. As the sharp blades sung as they sliced through the air about the Remnant, the weapon was caught in a reverse hand grip and brought down to Kadaj's waist. "Can you dodge this?!" He quizzed aloud, throwing his right, burnt hand and forearm up into the air over his head. A twinkle of fiery orange embers flicked into life from five position surrounding the glowing eyed individual that, without warning, sparked and erupted into gigantic columns of fire. Bursting up out of the ground wildly, sending white-hot fire shooting to the skies as well as throwing shards of earth and ground in every direction, the Flame Pillar Level 2
started y quickly absorb all the air and oxygen surrounding the silver-haired youth, needing it to fuel the flames of the inferno coloums. As a result, a strong vacuum was created, threatening to suck in the air-borne Tidus as he attempted his head butt, as well as possibly catching the near-by Snow and dragging him into the swirling tempests of fire. Anyone caught within one of the pillars of flame would be 'pin-balled' right up to the top where a good 30-foot fall would await them once the Flame Pillars burned out. [/blockquote] ------------------------------ -=Damage=-Burns upon his right palm and forearm, up to his elbow. A clean slice across his back, bleeding softly. -=Actions=-1. Kadaj blocked the Ruin spell from Snow with his hand, redirecting the damage. 2. Using his Souba, Kadaj parried the first and third frontal attacks from Tidus, the second, back-hitting strike, landing. 3. In counter to the air-borne Tidus, Kadaj summoned Flame Pillars at Level 2 to try and deal damage to both Snow and Tidus. -=Cool Downs=-After Image - 1 Post. Draw Slash - Ready to be used! Flame Pillars (Level 2) - 3 Posts.

OOC: ((I got Tidus' consent to say that he was sent up into the air with me due to the effect of Kadaj's flame pillar.))
Snow had hoped that Tidus had heeded his warning but it was too late. Tidus was hit...not by Snow but by the silver haired psycho behind him. Tidus was, however, able to duck out of the way of Snow's attack which was good. He watched as the Ruin hit his mark but something strange happened. This psychopath was able to block the move with his hand. He had a couple of burns on his arm, sure but...this guy didn't seem to mind. Most enemies usually feel the bit of the Ruin spell. However, Snow realized that it was usually the special enemies that Ruin had little to no effect on. Snow tsked in frustration, hoping that this fight would be a little easy but it would seem that Snow would have to give it his all in this fight. He ran forward toward the silver haired freak but it was then that Tidus sprung into action....
Tidus got himself some of the action by zipping through the guy in the black jumpsuit in more ways than one with his own awesome weapon. The way he attacked kind of reminded Snow of Lightning. When it comes to Lightning and, obviously, people like Tidus, speed kills. Snow wasn't exactly that slow himself but he would kill to have speed like that. Speed made for a great asset in battle. How can you beat down what you can't catch...there is no way you can...because you are not able to catch it. It was then that Tidus attempted to headbutt the man, which was what a move that Snow would do, of course. As Snow was running to stand by Tidus and fight the psycho, Tidus cast a spell that...well...made Snow feel even more unstoppable than he already was. Snow usually felt like he could take on whole worlds at once but now...thanks to Tidus's spell...he felt like he could take on the whole universe!
However, as Snow was catching up to Tidus, things took a little turn for the worst as the psycho summoned what seemed to be fire pillars. Snow gave a "devil-may-care" smirk. This guy seemed to be his opposite. Snow was all about his ice and water magic and this guy's element seemed to be based on fire. Snow knew that ice could melt so he figured water would drench fire. Snow cocked his right hand back and thrust his palm forward to release a Waterga spell. A titanic geyser of water attempted to make contact with the crazy man. Snow hoped that this will stem the tide. Snow smiled happily, thinking that he and Tidus had this in the bag. He didn't know why Tidus sent Rikku to go and get help, he should have had Rikku stay and watch the show and watch the heroes take down the villain. However, Snow found himself getting closer and closer to the psycho... Snow didn't recall commanding his legs to go forward... Snow raised an eyebrow and looked down to find his feet being dragged toward the flame pillars.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!! Wait a minute!!
The flame pillars were sucking him in...quickly. Snow tried everything; he tried digging his hands into the ground to keep his body from moving, he tried standing his ground but it was all too late. Ice was about to be melted by fire; Snow was about to be tossed around in the flames. Snow clinched up and got into a defensive position, but it didn't matter, for he knew very well that this...was gonna hurt. Snow met the bite of the flames. Snow tried to keep his eyes open among the smoke that emitted when his Waterga spell hit the flame pillars. Snow felt the wrath of the flame pillars from every direction. He was burned all over; his arms, his legs, his clothes were all singed by the dark flame pillars that had been summoned by this crazy lunatic. Snow found himself getting pinballed into the air and when the flames ended, he found himself high in the sky. Black smoke rose from Snow as he was sent airborne. Snow looked down at the black to see nothing around him, Snow looked to see where Tidus was and his eyes found Tidus next to him in midair. Snow couldn't but feel that he and Tidus were in the perfect spot for an attack. Snow nodded at Tidus, signaling that they should start their attack run, hoping that Tidus would follow him through. That was when Snow began to power up his ultimate move...
He then held his fist above him and cocked his fist backward. He let out a mighty battle cry, letting his power run on all cylinders. Snow summoned all that he had; his power as a Pulse L'Cie, his own natural strength, and the strength-boosting AMP technology in his jacket for this attack. He was looking to end it all with this attack. Making his power run high on all cylinders, he clenched his right fist and descended upon his opponent. Snow was going to end this now, he was going to use Sovereign Fist. Once he came close to the enemy, he then attempted to punish his opponent by heaving his fist into his opponent with all his might, leaving a cataclysmic explosion, dealing extraordinary damage and leveling the area they were in. Having a gut feeling that Tidus was following him in, Snow dashed out of the way, using his powerful legs to carry himself away from the psycho.
Snow then turned to the chaos and thought to keep the pressure on. Snow's L'Cie brand that had on his left arm then began to glow blue. It was then that a blue-white crystal began to emerge from his L'Cie brand, from his skin, that was in the shape of a heart. Snow grabbed the crystal and used his almighty force to crush it in his bare hand into dust. He then throw the dust into the air and a huge watery sphere began to materialize. Inside this sphere grew two entities and the watery sphere began to freeze as the two entities began to grow bigger and bigger. It was at this point that the huge watery sphere turn into ice and then the huge icy orb shattered. From the shattered pieces of ice, two beings emerged. One was dark with a white patch over her eye and the other was light-skinned with a visor over her two eyes and had a wheel floating in her hand. Snow smirked as they appeared before him and smiled upon seeing Snow. The Shiva Sisters have come to help Snow.
"Alright ladies, let's do this thing. Nix, show him how it's done."
It was then that Nix sprung into action with a devilish smirk on her face. Using the jet boosters that acted as her feet, she dashed to Kadaj's location to use one of her moves known as Pirouette. spinning in place at high speed with her wheel out in front of her, in an attempt to do more damage. Snow cheered her on as Nix went straight into battle but it was then that he started to feel the backlash from that crazy man's attack. Snow looked to his arms to find them singed from the flame pillars. Snow winced a little as he stared at the burns and moved his limbs around a little, hoping to get used to the pain so it wouldn't hinder him as much. He couldn't let some burns get in the way of protecting this world. Snow was known as the "tank" among his fighting friends, Snow was no stranger to taking damage. He just hoped the pain would subside for now...
Actions Taken:
Action #1: Snow ran toward Kadaj and used Waterga but is drawn in by the fire pillars.
Action #2: Snow takes damage from the flame pillars and is sent into the air due to flame pillars effect but uses Sovereign Fist.
Action #3: Snow dashes away from Kadaj and summons the Shiva Sisters to have Nix attack Kadaj with Pirouette.
Powers Used:
Shiva Sisters Summoning: The Shiva Sisters are known as Stiria and Nix. Stiria is known to be the elder sister. She is dark-skinned and she has a light patch around her right eye. While, Nix is the younger sister. She is light-skinned with somewhat of a visor over her eyes. The Shiva Sisters can help Snow for five full turns then they will have to take their leave for five turns after they have been active for five turns. The Shiva Sisters take two different roles, one for the each of them. Stiria protects Snow by casting healing magic and protective magic, while casting ice magic to protect Snow from his enemies, while Nix takes a more hands-on approach; Nix goes to physically attack Snow's enemies instead. (5 post duration; 5 post cooldown)
Sovereign Fist: This is by far Snow's strongest attack; not many can withstand it. Snow yells "Later!" and then, using his AMP technology that lies within his jacket and his raw strength, he uses his powerful legs to launch himself into the air. After he is high into the air, he summons all that he has; his power as a Pulse L'Cie, his own natural strength, and his AMP technology. Making his power run high on all cylinders, he clenches his right fist and descends upon his opponent. He then punishes his opponent by heaving his fist into his opponent with all his might, leaving a cataclysmic explosion, dealing extraordinary damage. This is Snow's final and best attack, which would leave him drained after usage for a time. (5 post cooldown)
Waterga: Snow can cast a strong water magic attack as well. A titanic geyser of high pressured water that shoots up far higher than Snow’s height will hit his opponent. It can inflict damage on multiple targets if many are present. (3 post cooldown)
Ruin: This is a non-elemental attack. Snow simply conjures up a medium sized ball of energy and he throws it at his opponent. Snow can throw two at a time. (Ready for use.)
