[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] No regret for the confidence betrayed No more hiding in shadow
There never seemed to be night nor day here. Sharing Twilight Town's eternal sunset, the Mysterious Towers appeared the same as it ever was. The night sky twinkling above as black as the depth of the outer sea of stars, yet as it came to the surrounding horizon, the black changed from black, indigo, purple, pink, and finally orange. It was hard to tell if it was sunset, or if one was staring into a bright, thin encompassing nebula. The only thing that seemed to be different around the tower was the shroud of cloudy darkness held thick over it like a fog, although at this time it seemed to be gradually dissipating from the presence of the small cluster of Champions of Light that were gathered at the far tip of the island the grand tower stood upon. The black mist had receeded and lifted from it's original suffocating position over this small world, but hung in the air over them now like a dark ominous cloud, as if paused and now in slow motion. Not having transcended from this world, it only meant one thing.
There was opposition close by, and they were on their way.
The young man named Sora knew what this sign meant, having saved many worlds from being plunged into the darkness before, and not having super senses or a hyper-keen sense of awareness of things he could not see, this seemed to be the only sign he recognized that trouble was on it's way to prevent the darkness from lifting. He didn't know who, why, or how many of them there would be. He was only glad that he was not alone, even if he never was with his friends in his heart. For beside him were Cloud, and Rapunzel, two very loyal and good-hearted people. Rapunzel may have been a Princess and not one of the known princesses of heart, but Sora had experienced with his own eyes the prejudice and suffering she had endured at the hands of her cruel and selfish godmother, and she had still turned out to be a very kind, selfless and pure-hearted person Sora had grown to appreciate by his side.
Speaking of contrasts of adversity and righeousness, Cloud had also suffered his fair share of pain. Sora may not have known just how much, especially when he first met him, but their encounter with Sephiroth had shown it in spades. While Cloud had been looking for his 'light', Sephiroth was the 'embodiment of his darkness' in Cloud's own words, and ever since had tormented the spiky blonde. Aerith and Tifa both had willingly given Cloud their support and light to him, and after a tense battle Sora had been brushed off himself with Sephiroth, he and Cloud fought a duel to end all duels that saw them transported to another world. That was a long time ago, but it had been enough for Sora to see the SOLDIER heavy with his own burdens, and despite being very stoic he was glad he still showed indirectly with action how willful and virtous he really was deep down.
Sora himself had been through a handful of worlds, saved them all from plunging into darkness more times now than he could count in the last three years, and was still on a steadfast mission to find the people who had made him who he was today. True, maybe he was simply a plain messanger boy that the Kingdom Key was not meant to go to, that he didn't earn nor deserve the keyblade, that he failed to heed and experience the darkness over following his own heart. But, he was still honored and proud, proud and humbled to be part of something bigger than himself, not just of a group of heroes but that of friends as well. That they valued him for him and were willing to give their lives for him, and he in turn, should it come to that. Kingdom Key summoned to his hand in a flash of light, he took a defensive stance as he looked to the horizon, his two-handed grip crossing the keyblade over his body as a guard while his back was turned to his friends.
Let the darkness come, if they wanted him. He was wasn't just ready for them; he invited them.

Theme for this post: Caius's Theme Final Fantasy XIII-2 OSTAll appeared quiet throughout the Mysterious Tower...or so it would seem. Nothing too out of the ordinary...or what could be considered ordinary for the place where the legendary Master Yen Sid dwelled. In fact, one could say it was normal here. That is until a large golden light appeared out of nowhere, almost as if it was ripping from the very fabrics of space and time itself. But stranger than that was what would step out of that strange portal that opened. A man clad in violet and black armor stepped out, everything about this man practically screaming intimidating. Caius remained quiet as he stepped out of the Historia Crux, closing the portal behind him with a simple wave of his hand. His violet gaze took in his strange surroundings, sensing the power this place had, as well as the rather dark taint it held. It would be a suitable place for him to rule from. It even reminded him of Valhalla in some ways. Perhaps it was the seclusion this place seemed to bring, he wasn't sure. But he knew one thing, even he could tell that this place wasn't originally of the Dark...and that the Light would be wanting to save this place from the Chaos. A small smirk appeared as he walked towards the tower, gaze resting upon Sora as he came into view, eyes lingering on the boy's summoned Keyblade strangely. "Tell me." he said gravely as he motioned towards the Keyblade. "What sort of weapon is that, and are you the guardian of this realm?" His gaze flickered from the Keyblade to Sora, almost as if he were sizing the boy up. He didn't look to be much of a threat, and definitely didn't look like he'd give him the same sort of challenge Lightning would. "Are you one that wishes to allow the Chaos in this world to manifest, or are you one who seeks salvation for this place?" Caius brought his arm up behind him, hands clasping around the bone like handle of his sword as he withdrew it, bringing it in front of him as he waited for Sora to answer his questions. If Sora chose the wrong answer, Caius may have just found his opponent. Well actually, either way the boy would go down if he dared tried to oppose the Immortal Guardian.

Rapunzel stood beside Sora yet again. He was the only person that she really got to know since she left her kingdom behind. They were back in the place where they were defeated hoping to release it from their previous failure. Last time the tower held a certain beauty to it with its everlasting sunset in the distance. Now the air was thick and something loomed over it dulling the beauty it once had. The princess knew this feeling all too well. It was the same feeling she got when Gothel was around. She had always over looked her so called mother’s dark tone and slightly half hearted caring. She now realized that the twisted mother cared, but only for her child’s hair and unique gift. So that would mean she would have to care for the child to obtain the power.
But anyway, her she was again. The environment didn’t improve much since Sora seemed to be less then himself. He seemed to be in some kind of zone. It was part determination she was guessing and part something else. No refuge could be sought out by their other companion either. Rapunzel didn’t know this Cloud person to well but if Sora trusted him then she would too. Who knows maybe in time they would be good friends as well.
She looked over at Sora and was going to try to put a smile on the boy’s face to lighten up the mode when something flashed in the distance. So a strange man stood before them. Rapunzel found herself taking a few steps back as he came upon them. When he spoke with his deep slow voice she inched her way behind Sora. She wasn’t sure about this. He zoned in on Sora way too fast and it was clear what he was here for.
Rapunzel placed her hand on the Keyblader’s shoulder as she stood half behind him. She was trembling and felt weaker than normal. What had she gotten herself into this time? She wanted to help Sora get this world back for his friend but she felt that she was in over her head on this one. She kept her mouth shut as the man spoke to Sora. She was kind of confused on how this guy would even think for a moment that they were here for the world’s downfall. I mean come on…look at her for crying out loud. What part of the Princess screamed I am a bad guy? But she would go along with whatever Sora said. She tried to keep her shaking down but she wasn’t sure she was doing a good job at it.
Rapunzel thought the atmosphere was bad before, that was nothing compared to what it felt like now. How was she going to lighten up this? She wanted to see Sora smiling like his old self again.

It had been a long time since this world had last been visited and when it had last been walked upon, two people already present on the world were walking beside him back then too. Was that coincidence, or was it simply the fact that these two other people had remembered what happened here and were back to remove the changes that had taken place? Who knew? But that was not what was important, at least not to a tall man inside the tower situated upon these floating islands anyway. No, to him it was simply coincidence. In fact, he didn't even know that he had company on this world. For a lengthy amount of time, the tall man's nose had been stuck in many books found within this unusual tower, reading all sorts of information of both boring and very interesting subjects. It was only when he had felt the auras of both powerful Light and Darkness users approaching had he decided that it was time to make himself known. Were it instead a couple of children wanting to play catch outside, then nothing would have been thought of it, but due to what had happened on this world the last time the tall, auburn-haired man was here, it was smarter not to take any chances.
So with book in hand, the wooden scrape of a chair leg echoed about the circular room the Crimson SOLDIER sat within, now stood. A squeak of a leather boot upon the floor meant he had moved and shortly after, the creaking of wooden doors opened up as the figure gradually made his way down a flight of stairs and towards the main entrance of the tower itself. Talking could be head that gradually grew louder and louder as the auburn-haired man made his way towards the doors. "Darkness...Darkness of the heart. How is it born? How does it come to affect us so?" The soft, poetic voice is heard saying, slightly muffled due to the wooden doors being closed, but sure enough, the doors opened up wide and the Crimson SOLDIER, Genesis Rhapsodos, walked down the stone steps leading up to the tower, book still in hand that was wide open, the Quoter of LOVELESS's nose buried within. "As ruler of this world, I must find the answers. I must find them before the world is lost to those taken by the darkness."
A pause and next the book was snapped shut between the SOLDIER First Class' fingers and thumb of his right hand. Relaxing his arm, lowering the book down to his thigh, a slightly impressed expression was spread across the SOLDIER's face as he turned his head and set his eyes upon the three heroes nearby, a subtle 'hmm' escaping his lips. "Well, how about that, eh?" The auburn-haired man asked as he moved his arms behind his back, gripping the book with both crimson gloved hands. The Key to Everything... Sephiroth had spoke of this boy many a time during their reunions. What was it he truly feared about this brown-haired boy? Genesis recognized him from the time they both entered the battle for this world on that strange floating train. Beside him, or rather, behind him, was a very pretty girl with very long hair. She too, Genesis recognized from the very same fight. Other then that, this woman was a stranger to him, but from the way she huddled behind the Keybarer, it seemed she knew him well. Finally, a man who didn't need any introduction. Cloud Strife... odd to see him here, of all places. Had he business with Sora or something? He looked the same as always.
"Sora. Strife. Ma'am." A nod of the head was given to each person before attention was finally turned away from the three of them, after a longer stare at Cloud Strife, mind. This man of Darkness... Genesis had crossed paths with this fellow as well. Back on the world known as 'Pulse', this chap had displayed an impressive control of magical talent, but a shame it was used as an attack on the LOVELESS Quoter himself. What did he call himself...? The black and violet armour and headband he recognized from their own fight way back when... Craig? Chris? Charles? "I remember you. What brings you to this world? Not content with trying to destroy your own?" Genesis asked as he pulled the book out from behind him and pointed the paged object in Caius' direction. Was another battle really going to break out here? The world was in a state as it was. Genesis was lucky in fact to have found a few books inside the tower whose words were still legible. He liked reading books, especially LOVELESS, but this one about a man finding answers to the Darkness was just as interesting.

Cloud, after releasing Sora's home from Darkness, found himself in Sora's company again. Only this time, he found himself walking in a strange new world that was obviously in the same state that Sora's home of Destiny Islands was in before Cloud, Sora and the young woman that had been with them purified it. The young woman introduced herself to Cloud as Rapunzel and how she was a good friend of Sora's as well. Although, Cloud wouldn't call himself a "good" friend of Sora's. Beyond knowing that Sora was special because of the weapon that he wielded and that he was always surrounded by two hyperactive and anthropomorphic animals, Cloud didn't know much about Sora. However, Cloud did have great respect for the young man and how he was able to constantly face each obstacle head on without buckling at the knees. Sora had a huge responsibility thrust upon him in an instant, and the fact that he was able to pick it up and run with it earned Cloud's respect. Although he wouldn't come out and yell it to the world...when it came to Sora, Cloud would show him through the actions that Cloud took.
As for Rapunzel, Cloud, of course, met her when Cloud was helping Sora liberate Destiny Islands. He didn't know her before then and he really didn't bother to know much about her as they traveled to yet another world shrouded in darkness. Cloud was not one to initiate conversation anyway. Although, he found how her hair was to be very interesting. Cloud hadn't seen anything quite like it. Although he didn't initiate conversation, he wondered a lot about Rapunzel. He wondered about where she was from, how she got her hair to be the way it was and where she met Sora. Cloud thought Rapunzel to be interesting but being the man that he was, Cloud was not going to push the issue. He figured that he could live without dealing her question after question after question. It would be overbearing...and besides, if she wanted Cloud to know, she would initiate conversation and ask him where he was from and then he would be able to return that question in kind...oh well...
Cloud left his bike Fenrir in Destiny Islands so he had all six Fusion Swords placed in his back sheath. Cloud didn't worry about the fact that he left his bike in another world, though. If there was something that he couldn't rid himself off, it was his motorcycle. That bike was seemingly capable of surviving anything and everything. And no matter what happened, Cloud always seemed to find his bike with little to no scratches at all. Cloud knew that no matter what he did...Fenrir just wouldn't leave. Cloud chuckled to himself at that strange, trivial fact. As he walked with Rapunzel and Sora, Cloud took in the ominous ambiance of this new world that he found himself in. Cloud had never been here before. He soon saw a huge tower that he and his friends were closing in on. Was this someone's home? If so, could they have been in charge of this world? Cloud just didn't know. As they walked about Sora stopped and summoned his weapon, his Keyblade...
Cloud watched as a bright light emitted from Sora's hands and formed to be his weapon. This place was ominous, indeed but did Sora sense someone or something coming? Cloud looked at Sora with a raised eyebrow as he looked to see a figure walking toward him. This man was unlike anyone Cloud has seen before. It was obvious what type of colors this man favored as everything about him was purple and black. This man donned strange clothing; Cloud wondered if this was the man that lived in this huge tower. Cloud didn't think that to be a far off assumption though; the aura that this man gave off was as...dark as the world Cloud found himself in. He then asked Sora if he was the guardian of this realm, which ruled out the possibility of this man living here or rather being from here. He then asked Sora if he wished to see Chaos reign or if he wished to bring salvation to this dark place. He then gripped onto what seemed to be his weapon. Cloud couldn't really tell what it was as it was behind the man's back. He looked to Rapunzel and watched as she stepped away to hide behind Sora. Cloud, with a stoic expression, on his face stepped up, however. Cloud walked up and stood right beside Sora, in an attempt to almost completely hide Rapunzel, keeping his emotionless expression. He then revealed his weapon which seemed be a sword...though Cloud couldn't tell where the blade was. The thing sure was demonic, though. Cloud gripped his blade but then heard a voice that he hadn't heard in so long...
He turned to the direction that the voice came from and there he was in all of his "glory". Auburn hair, red jacket over the traditional SOLDIER uniform with a book in his hand...Genesis was here. The last time he met Genesis, he was with Tifa when Zack and Sephiroth were inspecting the Mako Reactor on Mt. Nibel. Genesis knocked him out and Tifa had to carry him back. As if that wasn't bad enough, Cloud was just a lowly Shinra soldier and he hid the fact that he was from Tifa and everyone else because he bragged about how he was going to make SOLDIER. Genesis cleaned his clock back then and Cloud could do nothing but be mad about how he wasn't strong enough to do anything. But now, Cloud was different. He realized that strength doesn't lie in the muscles. The fight is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, and the brave, Cloud learned that the hard way but nevertheless, he is glad that he learned that anyway.
Cloud kept his eyes on Genesis as he greeted Sora, himself, and Rapunzel. However, what Genesis did shocked him nonetheless. He watched as Genesis walked down the steps that led to the doors of the tall tower and watched as he confronted the man in purple and black, asking him why he was here and why he wasn't content with destroying his own world. What in the world was going on here? Cloud thought that Genesis would attack him outright, due to him being friends with Zack but this was not the case at all and this made Cloud a little uneasy. Cloud then stepped forward and unsheathed the First Tsurugi. He just didn't like this, he didn't like this at all. He wanted to know what Genesis was doing here and he wanted to know now, although the reason might be...well...obvious...
"Genesis, what are you doing here? What's your connection with that guy and what do you want?", Cloud asked in an emotionless matter. He wasn't sure what was on Genesis's mind. As far as Cloud knew, Genesis didn't like him, so why did it look like he was...sticking up for him and his friends? Cloud just felt that there was more to what Genesis seemed to be doing... Cloud had been around people like Genesis for too long and too many times for him to not read in between the lines at all...

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] 'Cause I won't wait for the debt to be repaid Time has come for you
The Kingdom Key lowered it's guard, of the Master it had eventually and humbly had chosen. Sora looked beyond it to see a golden light manifest, and out from it stepped a man clad in violet and black colors, feathers and beads decorating his clothing. Sora had never seen someone dressed in such tribal attire, curious, but standing his ground as the man approached him. This stranger took one glance at the weapon he had, asking if he was the guardian of this realm. It was a innocent enough question, which Sora would have been happy to answer, even as the man seemed to be glancing him over from head to toe. But then the man spoke again, with follow-up questions of whether he was here to allow 'chaos to manifest', or be it's salvation. Although, the questions with his tone started to sound more like demands. And then, withdrew a rather large two-handed sword with an evil appearence, wielding it before him towards Sora.
He furrowed his brow, raising up his Kingdom Key before him, should he not give him a chance to give him his answer. But before he could, behind him, he felt Rapunzel's presence when he felt her hand on his shoulder. He turned around to look at her, giving her a knowing look, and nodded in silent acknowledgment to her. She was trembling, he could feel it in her touch, but Sora had seen the maiden fight before. She could look out for herself and fight well on her own, but even princesses needed help sometimes from their friends. And Sora would do his best to ensure that, not only to protect her, but to work beside her so she did not have to feel she was a damsel in distress but was a valued member and friend of the team.
As he turned back to address the man in violet, the doors of the tower creaked open, and out stepped a man he didn't think he would see again so soon. The one called Genesis, who wore attire like Sephiroth. The very fated nemesis of his friend, Cloud, who stood here loyally by him as did Rapunzel. However, unlike Sephiroth, Sora had come to learn that Genesis preferred to walk the road to dawn between light and dark... by being a wild card of sorts. It was he who was with Sora and offered his aid when they first tried to defend this very tower before, having rode the ghost train to get here. Sora almost thought that Genesis was labelling himself the master of the tower, before he realized he was quoting something out of the book he had buried his nose in. The man in the crimson coat addressed them all, and his comment to the man with the giant sword was a interesting one, and if there was any doubt that this man was malevolent in nature it was most certainly erased now Sora had reason to believe he had destroyed his own.
Cloud's reaction was interesting too, as he too unsheathed his own massive sword in wariness, confirming to Sora that Genesis was from Cloud's world and that he knew him. Perhaps not in the best way, Sora considered, if he was unsheathing his sword and asking the questions in uncertainty he was now. He would have paused to listen, but it reminded him the man with the deep booming voice still hadn't recieved an answer to his own questions.
"Hello Genesis." he replied back, in a more serious, neutral tone, unsure of what Genesis would actually do. Something told him that, from the scripture he had quoted from the book about darkness and the tower he had been in while the world was shrouded in darkness, and the way Cloud had unsheathed his First Tsurugi that Genesis may not be on his side this time. He turned back to his interrogator, calmly, his keyblade raised up further defensively before him.
"This isn't about sides. " he announced simply, finally answering the man, disregarding his previous inquiry about his keyblade and his status among the worlds. He wasn't one to brag in tense situations, nor would he give a foe information on what the keyblade is, should he want to abuse it's power like Sephiroth or Xehanort. "We're just here because we want to help. I have friends, one of them who lives in this tower. And we just want his tower back, from the Heartless." He hunkered down slightly a little more in his self-protective pose, fingerless gloved hands tightening around his keyblade in a two-handed grip, drawing in a sharp, quiet inhale through his nose. "We don't want any trouble."
But as he prepared to face the oncoming onslaught, he knew there was going to be some, and so Sora braced himself for the worse.

As Rapunzel stepped back Cloud stepped forward. He and Sora both seemed to be blocking the princess from view knowing that she was scared of the man before them. Sora looked back at her and gave her a face that told her he knew how she felt. He was standing in the front line ready to fight no matter how scared he was. Rapunzel looked down as the thought passed through her head. She wanted to help. She wanted to do this. She didn’t want to just sit around and do nothing. What if these invaders came to her kingdom? She wanted to have the means to protect her world and know what she was up against. They only way to do that was to help protect other worlds. Maybe in the end, if it ever came down to it, the people she protected would come and help her protect her world.
Rapunzel stepped out from her hiding place that the two men created with their weapons at the ready. “I seek its Salvation. Those charged with keeping this world has a zero chaos tolerance. They want their world back. There are people here that we want to protect. Do you know what it is like to want to protect something that you would do anything? If you do, then please, let us do our job and just leave.” Rapunzel said with emotion in her voice. She wasn’t afraid, sad, or angry. She spoke the truth. Of course when a portal opened the Princess quickly jumped back behind Sora in reflex. It was more because it surprised her and the sound of it was loud then being scared. She peeked over the young Keyblader’s shoulder to see who it was that was just entering. Her head perked up as she noticed that it was the guy who helped them out before. “Oh it is the guy with the wing!” She said overly excited to see him and hoped from behind Sora with a smile. She had been itching to ask him a question about his wing and it was written all over her face. When both Cloud and Sora said his name her grin turned a bit nervous. " Yeaaaah, I guess Genesis is a better name then the guy with the wing.” She giggled. It wasn’t her fault that she didn’t know his name. Last time they meet they really didn’t have time to introduce themselves.
However, neither Sora nor Cloud seemed happy to see they guy in crimson. She looked back at them a bit confused. Why were they being so uptight towards him? He saved them last time. She would have rather had the guy in red then the guy in purple. OH NO! THE GUY IN PURPLE! She had completely forgotten about him. She quickly turned to the direction he was in as her hair flew around her face from the force of the turn. When her hair settled she noticed that the other man was gone. Her eyes widened and she began to look around frantically. He had way to big of a weapon for them to let him out of their sights like that. She turned ever which way to see if he was going to attack but didn’t seem. She then turned to Sora, followed by Cloud, then to Genesis, then back to Sora. “Where did he….?”

The growing forces of Darkness that had started to surround this world had very quickly subsided, those coming to fight for the Darkness not arriving at all. Whether they were caught up in a maze of portals in the Corridors of Darkness or if something else caught their attention and sent them in other directions, who knew? Genesis certainly didn't and to be honest, he didn't care at all. He had come to this world for one reason... well, two technically. The first was that he was sure he felt a disturbance in the Darkness that was awfully similar to the aura Sephiroth produced but upon arriving on this world and taking lodging within the Mysterious Tower, he who Genesis assumed was Sephiroth, vanished. A shame really, but perhaps it was for the best. With Sora and Cloud both being here, who knew how badly a blood bath this world would have turned into? The other reason? Well, the auburn-haired man now held it within his hands.
Behind his back, clutched between finger and thumb was a dusty old tome from which Genesis had quoted passages moments before and during his introduction to both the Users of Light and the Force of Darkness. While the book was no Sephiroth, it was a good enough substitute, for within it's pages were written entries of text that were most interesting. Perhaps not to the normal civilian that roamed the various worlds, but more so to a man whose sword was set on changing the alignment of a world from Light or Dark or vise versa, all in the name of Balance. Balance of Light and Dark, something that Genesis had spoke to both Sora and Cloud to before in the past, but whether they took heed to remember it or not, was their own fault. Having not acquired this book, Genesis' reason for being on this world was no more. He had initially wanted to confront Sephiroth, but that was not going to happen now.
The voice of the spiky haired brunette reached the Crimson SOLDIER's ears and he glanced away from the man in black and purple armour to peer towards the Keybarer. Sora had returned his greeting, but seemed much more serious about it then Genesis was. Perhaps he was unsure of where the SOLDIER First Class's alliance lay? Did he walk the same path as Sephiroth? Share the same road as Angeal or merely walk the fence between both of them? Cloud spoke up next and the tall figure peered at the fake-SOLDIER carefully, watching his eyes glow with Mako energy. Before answering though, Genesis returned his attention to the man called Caius for a brief moment before placing his attention back onto Cloud. "Didn't you feel it, Strife? His hand tugging at your strings? Is that not the reason you came here, because you felt 'him'?" Genesis asked his own questions before answering those of the chocobo-headed youth, referring to that of Sephiroth.
While the words that the warrior with the massive sword donned in black and purple armour seemed to stir emotions within the Keybarer and the blonde-haired woman behind him, Cloud was forever the emotionless brick wall he always made himself out to be. Well, until someone from his past crossed paths with him. Indeed, Sora spoke of wanting to return this land and it's tower back to normal for a 'friend of his', while the beautiful young woman behind the two men spoke her heart more so, speaking of salvation for the world and what it meant to protect something. Protect your SOLDIER Honour, Angeal would always say. A smirk tugged at Genesis' lips and he turned to lock his bright blue eyes onto Cloud, finally answering his questions. "I came here for this..." Genesis spoke up, pulling the old book out from behind his back to show Strike, but quickly tucking it back behind himself before anyone had the chance to reach out and grab it. "... My connection to this guy is that I fought against him once before." He continued, flicking his right hand out towards Caius and jabbing a thumb in his direction as if pointing at him. "... And as for what I want? Nothing."
The smirk subtly crossing Genesis' lips remained in place as he continued to watch Cloud carefully. This man hadn't changed at all. When the long-haired woman spoke up about a 'guy with a wing', Genesis watched her as he hopped out from behind both the weapon wielding men, possibly to get a better look at him. The way her eyes light up, the auburn-haired man knew she wanted to ask him something but before she could, he watched as her body language turned more nervous as she utter another sentence. Leather attire creaked as Genesis turned to face the young woman directly. Placing a hand upon his chest, he closed his eyes and bowed his head a fraction towards her. "'Guy with a wing' is not the worst thing I have been called." Upon standing back up straight, the look spread across the girl in the purple dresses face screamed what she was thinking, as such, Genesis glanced back at Sora and Cloud before chuckling and returning his glowing eyes back to Rapunzel. "Old memories die hard, ma'am. Less so for Sora, but I'm sure Strife here believes all the stories Zack tells him, eh?" Genesis said with a grin as he looked back at Cloud out the corner of his eye.
Another glance in the young woman's direction lead Genesis to turning around and looking over his shoulder, noticing now that Caius too had vanished from this world. Perhaps he got bored of the idle chatter? After turning his eyes to the sky and looking around, it appeared that the black and purple armoured man had indeed vanished into thin air. Wherever he want, whatever he wanted, would remain a mystery. Slowly, Genesis turned back towards the Keybarer and the fake-SOLDIER before he smirked at them both. "I don't know what you're both worried about. It seems the threat to this world has gone and I know when it's best to back down from a fight. Regardless to say, it seems Sephiroth is not coming to this world as I first feared. As such, I have no reason for staying here. Sora, keep up the good work. Strife... try and smile more. Ma'am, keep these two in line." With that said and done, the Crimson SOLDIER turned his back on the three of them and walked away until he reached the edge of the floating island the Tower sat upon. Tucking his book into his inside coat pocket, the SOLDIER First Class simply stepped off the edge and disappeared from view.
