Jovial Prince of Thieves Arriving at this place was quite a trip. He needed a break and heard about the tournament. Above anything else, the prospect of prizes brought him to this foreign land. Boots clapped along the sandstone floors of the marble lined coliseum. Blonde hair was tied back in its usual fashion and both daggers lay sleeping in his holsters. As he entered the arena the roaring of the crowds played on his ego. He smirked and rolled his arms in tandem before he stepped onto the stage. As an actor he was trained not to crumble under pressure. Playing it up for the crowd was key to gaining notoriety, even if one's performance failed to meet their expectations. Behind him his tail bobbed before it curled up and stood behind him. His left arm came on his hip as a bright smile painted itself on his features.
"This place is pretty lively! This is gunna be loads of fun!" The thief was excited. He had never experienced a fight like this before. It was nothing like fighting with caged, wild beasts. The open arena would really feed his sense of energy. With body limbered up his arms dropped to his side.
In a fluid motion painted by his experience and skill the thief drew both daggers in a single motion. The pink gleam of the Mage Mashers were visible from even the highest seats of the arena. The blades of his weapons were pointed back and away from his body. He took a deep breathe as his heart thundered in his rib cage. He was pumped! This would be a great adventure!
"Alright! I'm ready to bust through." He shouted before he leaned himself forward. His right hand came up and held his dagger vertically in front of him while his left hand hovered at hip level. His legs parted at shoulder length and tail curled off the ground, balancing his entire form.

Xehanort had signed up for another tournament. The previous tournament wasn't much of a success for him as he only progressed through one round. It wasn't by his loss however, it was due to his teams loss. Like the previous tournament Xehanort was scoping out possible candidates for their cause. Though Xehanort wished to rename anonymous so he had put up his hood. His face was shrouded in Darkness so none would be able to see it, not even if they got really close. Truly he was the Mysterious Figure. As he stepped into the arena he heard the cries of the crowd once more.
Small World, isn't it? Thought Xehanort as he saw who his opponent was. Zidane, the one who he met at Halloween Town. Already Xehanort knew that this one wasn't fit for their cause, but he could be manipulated. Since Xehanort's identity was disguised he would have no qualms against fighting Zidane. Regardless he could care less if he found out who he was. Without speaking Xehanort raised his hands and summoned his Ethereal Blades, blue lightning sparking out from his palms.
Quick and easy. Xehanort wanted to finish the fight without breaking too much of a sweat. He'd rather progress fast than slow like previously. Triumphantly he walked toward the boy, it was somewhat of a mocking walk. As he approached he vanished for a brief period of time. Using his Temporal Dash he quickly teleported to the left before he started his assault. Throwing his arms forward he summoned two other versions of himself, both with Ethereal Blades of their own. It was then Xehanort had started his onslaught.
The real Xehanort stepped forward as he speedily slashed at Zidane. His feet pivoted as he crossed his legs, each movement with power and speed. The blades were attacking horizontally as he spun, Xehanort manipulating them as he attacked. As he moved forward for the third attack he connected the Ethereal Blades by the hilt and tossed them like a pinwheel. Naturally the Ethereal Blades would return to his hands. The second Xehanort clone had repeated every move he was doing to the t, also attacking from the same angle the original was. The third and final Xehanort had jumped into the air and crossed his Ethereal Blades. By doing this he shot out an X-Attack. It was a simple move, but it was all to place pressure onto his opponent. After that Xehanort landed he would run up to were the other Xehanorts were, also ready to start another assault on Zidane.
Actions:
Original Xehanort: 1. Xehanort used his Temporal Dash 2. Xehanort summoned his clones 3. Xehanort preformed a flurry of attacks on Zidane.
Temporal Dash 1/4 uses Paradox Clones: Cooldown 3 Posts
Xehanort Clone 1: 1. Copied the same attacks the Original Xehanort did onto Zidane.
Xehanort Clone 2:
1.) Preformed the X-Attack on Zidane 2.) Moved to where the other Xehanorts were so he could prepare for the next attack.

Jovial Prince of Thieves So the fellow went right into it?! Great! Without hesitation the Thief steadied himself. His eyes would never leave his opponent. Much similar to Black Waltz this guy seemed to have the ability to twist time and dance around the field, but no matter. Azure eyes kept their focus.
His eyes kept on the blades. The guy did not seem to keep his hands on them constantly. There were times they floated off hand. He would take advantage of this! For the time being the clones were ignored. As Xehanort stepped forward the speed this man had could easily match his own. The first horizontal slash was met within right Mage Masher which had been held in front of him since the start of the fight. The boy was not one to leave his bases open, but neither was he a direct combatant either. When the clone's attack came down his fluid motion would slash the blade along Xehanort's weapon to clash with the clone's. Dual wielding was his saving grace. His left blade followed his body's graceful motion. As the right blade cut across the real Xehanort's blade, the left Mage Masher came up to collide with his blade to push it back. He would be holding both blade from their first horizontal strike.
The floating blades were a weakness he would take advantage of. He waited back and did his best to block with his Mage Mashers. There was his moment! The clone mirrored the first guys movements to a perfect cross action. The blades came down for their second attack which was a second horizontal slash. His heart was pumping faster and faster! His grin spread. He took a a hit from the second horizontal slash, because he knew that meant the blades came down! He pulled his arms back so the belts of his vest were struck so he damage did not to deeply damage him. As the blades came down he hurried back. Before the third attack came and the Master and Clone attempted to connect his Ethereal blades the Thief slashed his twin blades in an X motion, which came upward, as his arms were pulled back and down from the downward attack. The upward cross-slash was aimed for their faces, a dirty move but he was a thief!
Whether the slash connected or not was not the issue. Hit or dodge it would give him opportune time to Steal the weapons that were now connected. His cross slash bright his wrists together and he would heavily slam down with his blades on the Ethereal Blade to knock it from Xehanort's hands. On a successful or failed move he would proceed to draw that same downward motion up at the Master to slash across both him and following through to slash into his flanking clone as he could not steal from two opponents at once, but at least he would have his flank covered in case the clone could follow through without his master's guidance.
The final clone was an issue. Amidst the fight it would be difficult for the thief to dodge the attack completely. After following through with his slashing attack. He continued the motion and would attempt to forward roll out of the way of the attack. If he was unable to, he was still getting pumped. He would not roll far away, but try a few feet, enough to get a handle on his space.

Xehanort's Ethereal Blades whirred as it struck the steel of Zidane's. Each hit blocked was interesting, considering that he and his clone was attacking at the same time. From under the cloaked hood Xehanort smirked as the boy attempted feebly to steal his blades. Xehanort had unsummoned his Ethereal Blades to prevent the theft from occurring and resummoned them back into his hands. It was a devious move to those who cannot do the same. Part of his hood connected with the slash Zidane preformed on Xehanort, the fabric ripping and tearing with each second passed. Quickly Xehanort placed his Ethereal blades in front of him and his clones followed suit.
It was a trifecta of danger, a Xehanort around each side of Zidane at a reasonable space. The only room left open was his back. The Xehanorts pointed their hands at Zidane, Etheral Blades disappearing for the moment. Underneath each Xehanort appeared a sigil, one that was commonly seen when Xehanort was casting something. The original Xehanort, who was standing from the front, cast Doom. Turning his Etheral Blades into ropes. If Zidane was hit by the ropes Doom might take effect and start counting down.
The other Xehanorts were doing more dangerous moves. A clone to his left cast Meteor, causing a gigantic meteor to fall from the sky in attempt to hit Zidane. The other, which was to his right, cast Megaflare, a dangerous fire spell. Regardless if Zidane dodged these attacks or not didn't effect Xehanort. It was because of his magic none of his allies or clones would be hurt by the magic, only the intending target(s). The move was wicked and would involve some ingenious skills to dodge.
Actions:
Xehanort:
1. Met Zidane's attacks blow for blow, dodged the hit towards his face. 2. Cast Doom on Zidane:
Doom: He turns his Ethereal Blades into ropes of energy that ensnare the opponent. If ensnared a physical number appears above their head and starts counting down. If the counter reaches zero they will automatically be put to critical health.
Note: the person it's being cast on will use the rand command. If the number is even, Doom will start counting down. If the number is odd, they will be set free.
Cooldown of 5 posts after the counter reaches 0 OR if they hit an odd number.
Temporal Dash: 1/4 Uses Paradox Clones: 3 Post cooldown
Clone 1:
1. Also met Zidane's attack blow for blow. 2. Cast Meteor:
Meteor (Level 4) Xehanort summons a giant meteor that drops down from the sky to do major damage to all enemies.
Cooldown of 5 posts
Clone 2:
1. Cast Mega Flare
Mega Flare (Level 4) Xehanort fires a concentrated fireball that travels somewhat slowly across the field. It explodes into a huge field of fire upon impact or after a certain amount of time. Once it hits (or explodes) it does major damage to all enemies.

Jovial Prince of Thieves A smirk peeled itself over Zidane's features. It was a split second, but it was still a chance. the fellow had to be fast to dodge his Steal attempt, but that gave him the moment he needed. These fellows seemed to have a strange ability to materialize weapons and even disenchant these keyblades from existence, but that only gave him opportunities. When the blades were called away the thief slashed up his weapon to strike at the true Xehanort's chest. He would try and give him something to remember him by. The boy was not strong, but what he lacked in physical prowess he made up for in speed.
The boy always kept his body at a low stance to better control his center of gravity. He scoffed when they seemed to surround him. There was no way before the faces of the Moon would be be cornered. His snarled feeling the familiar grips of a Doom spell coil around his lifeforce. He was a death mage?
Shit.
Might as well make a show of this, though that had been his goal in the first place. Winning was only a bonus. The deadly spells were unleashed and a laugh exploded from the thief. "Time to burst through!" A burst of energy erupted from it as his adrenaline finally reached its peak. The surge of power tightened his body and conformed his spirit. His clothing was shed as dep, pink fur layered over his flesh. Trance was boasted to be a burst of emotional energy that strengthened its user. Mages were not the only ones with advantages. "Let's show off for the ladies!" He smirked.
He tightened the muscles in his legs and his left leg, which was always placed forward, would anchor him as his right kicked him back, his dodging skill amplified by his newfound muscle strength. With the open spot behind him he would back flip from the close range. There was no way he could dodge a damn Meteor spell, but he was not going to be going down without a fight. Maybe he would get lucky and interrupt the spell?
"Huuuaaah!" His body surged with a heated energy to meet the Flare spell in kind. The fire began to expand around his body, his warcry only amplifying its power. He crossed his blades which caused them to spark. A wave of super-heated energy erupted from his body he slashed forward, into the air, and sent out the formed energy. A Tidal Flame washed over the field toward Xehanort and his clones.
In Trance the feeling of exhaustion slowly ticked away as his health was restored with each passing second. The strain of his muscles slowly stitched back, in an attempt to restore the previously received damage to his shoulders.
The boy was not done though. He would accumulate as much chaos as he could. A twisted grin drew itself on his wild features. His pink hair danced under the spin of his ki as his fisted hand punch the ground. Reckless! He was a reckless child! He would force out every ounce of his physical prowess in a showy move. The hum of a second force of ki began to radiate from his form as his tail shot straight up and the fur on his body danced under the air of the condensing force.
Could I have won, had I tried? Let's have fun another time!
He smiled a genuine expression of joy at Xehanort. " HYAAAA!" The warcry released the energy from deep within his heart. He had a fun time, but fighting was only fun when the spirit of the game was kept intact. Grand Lethal erupted from his body and spread across the field, following the Tidal Flame moments after. The field wide attacks were reckless and would likely cause a great deal of damage and trouble, but hell if he cared! This was fun! [/div] "Sometimes, you can't think everything out. A searing sensation ran quick through Xehanort's chest. While Zidane's blade may have pierced his flesh, Xehanort was not down nor out. The young master had been cut many times, both deep and wide, and such simple attacks did not stop him. It took much more than that to take down the youth. Crackling down from the sky Meteor came crashing down upon Zidane. Upon hitting the ground it caused a massive explosion which would send rocks flying across the arena. The spells had carried out perfectly. However Xehanort was interested at what came next. Light had surrounded the boy and covered him in ...pink fur. An intriguing transformation it was, but nothing out of the ordinary to Xehanort. Firsthand he saw the Command Styles taught by Eraqus to his students. Exposed to many things, Xehanort had worried not of the changed Zidane. Quite actually he was impressed with the boy's enthusiasm. Now piqued with curiosity that was ever-so-reminiscent of the old Master's, Xehanort would not keep his golden eyes off the boy. Had Xehanort taken his eyes off Zidane he would have missed his next attack. A bright orange had saturated the field and surging towards him was a towering wave with heat so intense that it felt like the sun. Both clones were overcome by the attack and disintegrated with the intense surge. Despite hitting hard the clones were quite fragile, so it did only take a couple attacks for them to disappear.. or one strong one. The attack threw Xehanort back a couple feet, making him grunt out in pain. Any sound Xehanort made was masked due to his hood being up. Actually anything that he remotely said sounded like an eerie echo of nothing. Truly Xehanort could not be classified. Even though Xehanort was struck with such a powerful attack, he still stood tall. As a master, or a master to be, he was resilient and would not allow himself to be downed by such attacks. So Xehanort stood tall and welcomed the next attack, but did so as a ploy. The ever-so-scheming mind of Young Xehanort was at work. Now purple energy had filled the area and as it struck, so did he. As he was hit he used his Teleport Counter. Disappearing from sight he rematerialized in the air behind Zidane. Using the element of surprise he would transform his Ethereal Blades into a long rope which he would slam down upon Zidane. The rope form was his Collision Magnet attack which would allow him, if hit, to ensnare Zidane, pick him up high, and slam him down hard on the ground with such a force to bounce him back up so he could follow up with an attack. Regardless if the attack hit or not, Xehanort would land on the ground and proceed to release a combination of fast and powerful attacks on Zidane. First he would hold the right Ethereal Blade above his head in a backhand position as the other one would be held normally in front of him. Using the full force of his body he would slash the left Ethereal Blade horizontally, bringing the other one down diagonally as he spun. His feet pivoted as he attacked to really combine speed with force. As he turned around he would swap the position of the left blade into a backhand grip, but leaving the right's grip alone. As he faced forward again the left blade would slice quick at chest level. Bringing both blades forward he crossed them so that they would slice almost like scissors. He would change the grip of the blades again. Holding them normally he sliced reverse of what he had previously did, combining the blades once more to become a Double-Bladed Ethereal Blade. Finally using the Double-Blade he swung it diagonally twice, ending with shoving the blade forward, turning the tip of the blade into something that resembled a spear. ((Note: Actions are now in these spoiler tags)) Actions.
1. Teleport Countered the Grand Leathal. 2. Used Collision Magnet. 3. Regardless if Collision Magnet hit or not, Xehanort unleashed a combination of melee attacks upon landing on the ground.
Moves used:
Teleport Counter A counter move that allows Xehanort to teleport out of a combo, he can either teleport into the air or teleport somewhere on the field.
Cooldown of 2 posts. Medium-Far Range
Rope Ensnare (Collision Magnet) Xehanort turns his Ethereal Blades into a rope in which he uses to grab and slam the opponent down onto the ground, which in turn bounces them back up into the air allowing Xehanort to follow up with another move.
Cooldown of 3 posts, Ethereal Blades Only, Air only.
Cooldowns:
1/4 Temporal Dash uses Teleport Counter: 2 posts Paradox Clones: 3 Posts Doom: 4 Posts
Note: The attacks used by the clones were based on their own cooldown, thus not effecting Xehanort's own Meteor and Megaflare.

Jovial Prince of Thieves He was feeling the damage throughout his body. He was fading pretty fast. This guy was tough, but that did not seem to matter to the rowdy thief. It has been a long time since he has been allowed to let loose. His wild grin and the darker look at the edges of his strange eyes only served to announce his lust for such behavior. He was always brimming with emotion, overflowing with it in kind. Even as he was thrown back by the force of the Meteor spell he was still ready to get up, ready to fight on. He had a quiet lust for battle and conflict. He was no Angel of Death, but he could not be discredited toward his predisposed nature to cause trouble. He was a thief, a troublemaker, but above all he was a young brigand still tasting the different flavors the worlds had to offer.
When his final attack struck he was hit with a counter. It was enough to make the pink-furred beast shiver. This was the excitement of an unhinged battle not doused in blood, but in unbridled enjoyment. He was having fun and he got the sense the older male was too. Being jostled around like this was nothing new. It was like a Stroper taking his viney limbs to his body once more. Reliving his past as he was slammed to the ground. He bounced indeed, but as he adjusted his weight the volley of attacks came in a slew of rapid blade strikes.
The boy grunted when he landed after the vicious assault. Chest bloodied he would not give up. He could feel the crushing vice in his chest from the Doom hovering over his spirit. He kicked off the ground and into the air and as Xehanort moved to thrust his blades at him. The wild eyed boy grinned fiercely. He would attempt to Dodge Jump the final thrust and take advantage of the opening. Whether or not he could dodge it mattered not, the flurry of blows were already landed. He worked to evade the final blow. He seemed to almsot float backwards in the air, but it had only been the momentum of his bounce and hop-back.
"Huuuuuaaaa! The boy pulled his blades forward. So he wanted to play such a game? He'll match it! He snapped his blades together forming a proper naginata, a Thief's Sword. His Mage Mashers were now formed into The Ogre and the beast-slaying blade had such a name for a reason.
The boy stood with his legs splayed and tail keeping balance. Zidane kicked forward, using his speed to match the old man's. "HYA!" The warcry released a sudden burst of energy. "Hua!" One warcry followed another until the swirls of energy exploded out. He rushed toward the thrust of the blades and met it with his own as the deadly baragge of ki launched toward his opponent. The Meo Twister attack was assisted by his naginata, the twirl of the double-edged swallow blade, his Thief's Sword, was twisted and twirled expertly in his dextrous hands, like the fan of a windmill, only with murderous speed and slicing force.
He charged blindly forward.

As the combo went through, the Mysterious Figure prepared himself for another attack. However Zidane had more tricks up his sleeve. The Meo Twister was another powerful move delivered by Zidane. It seemed the boy had an affection for area spells. The area had emitted a soft red aura before the attack was administered. Using this tell as a sign of warning he quickly acted. By now he was used to seeing these area spells from Zidane. Xehanort dematerialized from sight for a second, using another Temporal Dash to push him forward. By using the momentum from the Temporal Dash he jumped into the air and did a flip over Zidane. Doom had counted down and hit 0, so Xehanort would stand there with his Ethereal Blades prepared. The thief was a slippery one and proved to survive his powerful attacks prior, so how would he fare with meeting the cold hands of Doom? Actions.

Jovial Prince of Thieves Zidane as the cloaked individual leapt over him. His body was soaring on the adrenaline that he had all but forgotten about the Doom spell tightening over his heart. When Xehanort landed the thief felt everything slow down. He shifted his body, but fell down to one knee. Shit. He was bleeding, bruised up and his body was battered, but his spirit still roared loudly. As he landed he punched his fist to the ground and focused the remainder of his energy in to his attack. The boy coughed out as he roared. His blood splattered across the field as the ki released into a spiral of energy that spread around the ground beneath them. The Shift Break would distort the air around them, reflecting only on the ground.
Zidane was unsure of he even released the attack or not.
As he acted he reached to the depths of his consciousness. At the beginning of battle it wanted to crawl its way out. Was it perhaps hat instinct that he long submitted to? It was part of him. The murderous beast that craved to take the lives of others.... Though, in a sense, that was who he was, it was not who he wanted to be. What was the point of senselessly taking lives so another could live? Perhaps it was that sort of heroism that always got him in trouble. He was a thief after all.
A low, dirty criminal whose epics were better left unsung.
It was many a day since he felt this way. Fighting was not something he necessarily craved, but this feeling in his heart finally settled. The drumming beat was like the pounding of a Zhagnol's hooves in the dry plains of the Outer Continent. When the adrenaline pushed through his body he felt alive. It was not so bad losing, but the pain that came after was always a good lesson. This was a good journey.
Though the trip ended in his failure, with his heart strangled by the vices of Doom, the calling of slumber to the darkest corner of his mind, he would welcome it, because he was not afraid of seeing his darker half here. He could not hold breathe and his body was weighted down by the one of the deeper states of slumber. He would likely not rouse again of his own volition, until his body was repaired of the heavy damage incurred. Pink-furred body hit the ground and his blades flew from his hand, clattering away.
Though as he fell he seemed to whisper something as his mind was lost to slumber:
'Good game, old man...
