Raid #6
Oct 3, 2012 16:41:52 GMT -5
Post by rosso on Oct 3, 2012 16:41:52 GMT -5
Rosso would sit up on a section of the roof of Disney Castle. The sun was rather bright; something that she was not used to. As she sat on the roof, the memories of her time in Deepground passed through her mind. She was a Tsviet, living to serve Weiss the Immaculate's orders. Without Weiss around, Rosso had no orders to follow and therefore had no idea what to do. She never lived for herself. Living to kill, to cause bloodshed in the name of Deepground. "What to do, what to do? Without Weiss and Deepground, I have no reason to fight...hmph; Maybe I should settle down or something." She gave a shudder at the sheer thought of such a thing. "I'd rather spill my own blood than do that." Rosso would look out into the distance. A town surrounding the castle she was at. She could go down and terrorize the people there. Slice, cut, hang, execute...so many ways to kill people. Each one excited Rosso more than the last. She looked down at the castle grounds, and there were a small group of citizens gathered about.
A malicious smile would cross Rosso's face as she saw these people. She didn't know who owned this castle, but she knew that she was going to go down there, slaughter the people then go after this castle's king and bloody him up. "Torture and kill the king and hang him in town as an example of the power of a Tsviet. I don't think I've spilled the blood of royalty before. Just the thought sends an amazing chill down my body." Rosso would stand and stretch, pulling her weapon off her back. As she held it out, the long crimson blade would swing out. Extending out, her unique weapon would have its outstretch blades on the sides attached to a machine gun-like weapon at the center. "Time to teach the young fools a lesson they wont soon forget."
Rosso would jump down, landing with a hard thud in he middle of the group of people. "I hope you don't mind me jumping in. " With a couple swings of her blade, she would take out the majority of the group, leaving about 3 injured in fleeing. "I only got 8 of them. I must be getting rusty. Well, no matter. Watching them flee and scream and terror excites me so." She would chase down the injured, slicing them down with ease. "Now then, for the castle. I hope the castle guards are more fun to play with." Rosso would head into the castle, guards charging at her. Holding out her weapon, she would mow them down with her machine gun.
"They are even more pathetic than the WRO. They are not even worth painting the castle with their blood." She would continue to move through the castle, leaving corpses in her wake. She would eventually make it to double giant doors. "Well now, if the king of this castle is this big, then today might be fun after all."

Raid #6

Post by mickey on Oct 7, 2012 19:41:00 GMT -5
King Mickey had become worried about his home since the stint in Traverse Town. People were still there, which means worlds were still being displaced somehow, but Mickey could not do everything to fix it. What’s more, there was threats of dark presences looming over. Those two he had witnessed, that of both Nero the Sable and Rosso the Crimson. Both had known each other, both had spoken of finding a man known as Weiss, presumably their leader. What did they want? Tsviets was what they had called themselves. Were they allies of the Organization? The true organization? Were they another threat to worry about? Either way, Mickey had to prepare. He had not gotten a chance to Alert the Academy, to afraid for his own Kingdom to truly alert them, but a chance encounter with Vincent had allowed him to escape and explain to the man everything that happened and their arrival, as well as the worries and dangers the Organization had presented. Having met the man once before and knowing he was intel for the Academy, it was important he knew and could relay it.
Mickey had finished a while back sending letters out to the various Keybearers he knew of still around, and even to others he could only hope might still be around. Some had been a stretch, but he had also told both Riku and Sora’s letters to find any other keybearers for this. If the Tsviets proved enough of an issue, he needed them alert, and would hold council to warn the keybearers here. He was working on another for yen Sid, to mention the rising issue, when his doors had been blasted in, his trusted court mage Donald coming in.
“You Majesty! A woman in red has been seeing attacking the townsfolk and the Knights under Goofy!” he exclaimed, his freak out causing him to bounce like a ball. The words of “Woman in red” caught his attention, and without missing a beat, Mickey stood, the chair of his desk tumbling backwards with a bang as he bent his legs, his face going serious. So she had followed him here, had she? She had decided to attack the King of Disney Castle in his home now. Well, he would not allow this to come to pass. With a single bound, Mickey leapt, flipped forward, and then ran towards the front of the castle, Keyblade summoned in a brilliant flash of light. “Get Daisy and Minnie to safety!” he yelled as he burst through the doors of the library study into the hall past his throne room. His eyes narrowed, seeing the woman standing before his doors. Leaping high into the air, Mickey spun forward, slowing briefly at the Peak of his jump and pointing his key blade to the woman, firing off the brilliant light of white energy that was a pearl.
He continued to fall, tucking and rolling forward as he hit the ground to lessen impact and then when getting closer to the woman, bounding off his feet and swinging his key blade out in in a wide arc before him to try and hit her before landing on his feet with a ready stance. “I don’t know why you came here but leave now!” He said, meaning business.

Raid #6

Ahhhh~! Disney Castle! It was so good to be back here again! The place had been rebuilt too, or at least was coming close to finishing off the repairs caused by whatever had happened to come through this small, peaceful and fun-filled world. Whatever had come through this world since the last time the silver-haired Remnant had paid a visit, at least. It had been a long time, but a chance encounter with Sora had managed to see the Remnant off and save the world from another chaotic period added to it's history. No, the last time the Remnant had come to this world was to try and convert the Cornerstone of Light into that of Darkness. There was untold powers held within that massive sphere, but in it's current state, accessing it was close to impossible. The trouble was with wanting to convert the sphere into Darkness, is that it took a heck of a long time. Too long. Long enough for other Users of the Light to arrive and return this world to the Light, canceling out the changes made to the Cornerstone.
But today was a different story. A different purpose. Today was an information gathering day and from previous experiences when wanting to deal with humanoid sources, it usually took sending them to the brink of death before anything was revealed. But, that also determined on the person in question, being questioned. This world, the home of Mouse King Mickey, would be a hard world to interrogate. The guards, stewards, gardeners, civilians... everyone of this world was loyal to the Light and to Mickey. They'd all surely notice the Darkness seeping off of the Remnant's heart and they'd either bolt in all directions or hold their tongue till their dying breath. So yes, this was going to be tricky. Either a massacre was in order, or using a different means to acquire information was in order. This was a castle. Castles had libraries. That was going to be as good a place as any to start searching. Knowing the Mouse King, he was bond to have an area hidden away where all the important and top secret information was kept. The only obstacle now was to locate that area.
A leisurely stroll through Disney Town was entertaining. Citizens of both humanoids and biped animals were running into houses and ducking down alleys to escape the form of Darkness heading down the main street. Banners and bunting with every bright colour possible were hung up from streetlamps and across the street via the houses and buildings on either side. A parade perhaps or just there to keep everyone's spirits up? Who knew? No one was in any danger on this day from the leather clad Remnant. His goal was to breach the castle walls, not to mess about and play with the locals. The warm, soft breeze caught the silver strands of hair that fell before the youth's eyes, blowing them aside for all to see the eerie turquoise glow that flashed like a campfire from within the Remnant's skull. His head was turned from both left and right for him to watch and chuckle and the sights before him. One could hardly call them cowards when all they were doing was wanting to live to see another day.
A scream shrieked through the area, followed by several rapid gunshots. The silver-haired youth paused his movement and raised an eyebrow as he tried to identify the sound of the gunshots. It didn't take long for him to realize that this gun was one he had never heard before, which lead him to believe that whoever held it would be a new face completely. Only now did the aura from the person's heart reach him and my goodness was it drenched in Darkness. The leather-clad Remnant narrowed his eyes as he sprinted forwards, dashing towards where the sound had come from. It wasn't far away, only a couple streets over. Skidding to a halt and turning to face a large, thatch-roofed house to his left, Kadaj flexed his knees and launched himself up onto the roof with a jump of cat-like agility. Climbing to the top and leaping the street below, Kadaj laid his eyes upon a murder scene. Eight civilians were left down on the cold floor with a further three down the street heading towards the castle. Kadaj remained in place for a moment as he contemplated what must have happened here. The aura he felt was certainly not that of Yazoo and it was much too Dark to be any of the Users of Light who wielded a gun.
With curiosity peaking, the Remnant Leader turned to face the castle and after a couple seconds attempting to locate the location of the aura he felt, the silver-haired youth vanished into a cluster of black angel feathers. Within an instant, the youth had appeared within the castle walls, standing upon a white beam that helped hold the roof up. From up here, could see a woman dressed in crimson along with the Mouse King himself. The weapon within the woman's grip was one of two long blades with some sort of pistol or machine gun set in the center. Well, that would answer the murdered from outside. With a smirk, the Remnant tucked his arms into his chest and tumbled off the beam backwards, flipping himself down to the ground below where he landed upon his feet with the softest of thuds several feet behind the Mouse King. "Well... this was unexpected. I didn't think you'd be visited by someone else today. I see you've once again been unable to prevent the Darkness from entering your peaceful world. You call yourself a 'King'?." The Remnant said with an ever darkening chuckle that was accompanied by the sound of a steel blade singing as it left it's scabbard. Mickey was not going to be the only one defending this castle. Not by a long shot. Ever since it had become the target of the Darkness multiple times in the past, Kadaj knew that other people would be on their way to help protect this world.
-------------------- -=Cooldowns=- Angel Teleportation - 1 Post. -- Vanishing into a cluster of black feathers, Kadaj can teleport himself about the battlefield in an instant. This is a very useful skill for creating sneak and back attacks as well for dodging powerful attacks.

Raid #6
Oct 13, 2012 14:00:00 GMT -5
Post by deshitana5 on Oct 13, 2012 14:00:00 GMT -5
In the bright skies of Disney Town there appeared a small speck of Light that glowed brightly before falling from that ocean of blue and towards the ground. The light fell fast like a shooting star, but when it made contact with the ground, it did not cause an explosion or any sound. The ball of Light simply landed on the ground quietly, glowing brightly before it began to dim and take a shape of a person that was kneeling down. The glowing figure stood up to its full height and glowed for a moment longer before the light vanished, leaving behind a young man with white hair. The young man’s eyes were closed for a second before they slowly opened and blinking began adjusting to the light of the area.
The young man named Riku looked around at his surroundings taking the place in and recognizing it almost at once. This was Disney Town, home to Sora’s friends Donald and Goofy and also to Mickey Mouse. The young Keyblade Master didn’t have the chance to actually step foot in this place and enjoy it like his friend had, but it did not take a rocket scientist to know how important this place as or recognize it. This world was the strong hold of Light and—Riku looked around the area taking note how the place seemed to be trying to recover from various battles of the past—this place was a huge war zone for the forces of Light and Dark.
Riku frowned slightly at that observation. He didn’t like the fact that his friends were constantly in danger for living here, but it was nothing that could really be changed. All one could do was defend when the time came and try to live happily otherwise. One had to have a strong Heart to do that and the people here definitely had that. There was no way, they could pick themselves up afterwards if they did not. Strong Hearts like those in Hollow…no, Radiant Garden.
Riku began to walk down the street empty street he was on, looking around and listening. The place was bright and decorated like it was in the middle of throwing a party or something, but there were major things that made the place eerie. First, the people that lived here, which the young keybearer knew were many, were nowhere to be seen. He could sense Light all around in this balanced world, but that Light was hiding within houses or closed shops. As he reached the middle of the square, he paused looking around at the closed shutters and doors. He caught one bold resident peeking out of a window, but as soon as his eyes spotted the peeper, the slightly bent blind was quickly released as the resident moved away. Odd. What had them so scared? He stayed where he was for a moment and felt out this world a bit more.
The silence and tension…just like the woods in Snow White’s world at night. Tense and dangerous…
Like a calm before a storm, Riku thought as he began to move again. Was it this coming storm why he had been brought—?
His thoughts and movement came to a halt as his eyes met the scene before him, his eye widening a bit as an involuntary gasp escaped him. What was this?!
A trail of sliced up corpses laid on the path creating a large pond of blood. Before him there were eight and ahead three more. The stench of the blood and death hung lightly in the air, letting him know that this horror scene happened recently. As his eyes took in those face twisted in agony and fear, he began to wonder who or what had done this to the people. His eyes moved from the blood bath to the castle up ahead as every part of his body understood exactly why he had been brought here.
This wasn’t a random selection like the Dwarf Woods had been. No, he was summoned here because Light was being threatened and needed defenders. Without asking for it, he had been pulled into the large war that Light and Dark was fighting daily. He didn’t like the idea of being in this new war, but as a Keyblade Master, he knew he did not get the option to back down.
“Tch!” he said as he gritted his teeth slightly and began to move carefully around the mess to avoid slipping or getting too much on him. Once in the safe zone, he began to run towards the castle as fast his legs would carry him praying that Mickey and the others were okay; however, as he reached the castle the tense sickness within him only got worse. Like the town, no one was around. Not even the guards.
He kept moving coming to a sliding halt as he got to the top of the stairs and found out exactly what had happened to the guards. Like the people in town they were dead and had created another trail of bodies and blood, but instead of being sliced up the guards had hole riddled armor. While Riku was not a weapon expert, he was not dumb either. Those holes weren’t caused by magic, but a gun instead. He narrowed his eyes trying to place who might have a gun. It couldn’t have been Leon…no despite his weapon indeed having a gun on it, that guy fought for the Light, so he’d have no reason to do this…unless he had lost his mind. No that didn’t line up, so that left only one other person.
Xigbar, his mind thought, but even then... Riku couldn’t imagine that one doing this either. Sure, he was unpredictable and he trusted the guy about as far as he could throw him, but he never pegged the guy as being a mindless killer....
Hm?
Riku’s observation was brought to an end as he heard sounds from further within the castle. Half relieved and half worried, Riku made his way through the mess until he finally found or rather smelled the problem.
There were indeed people here. One was the familiar presence of Mickey while the other two reeked of Darkness as he came into the area and paused to take in what was going on. Already, Mickey was fighting against a woman in red that reeked of the Darkness. She was wielding a strange bladed weapon…with a gun attached to it.
She must’ve been the cause of the massacre outside, he thought and then prepared to help Mickey as he tried to locate the second source of Darkness that was currently hidden. He didn't have to search long. No, as he stood in his spot for a second longer movement caught his eyes from somewhere a bit behind the current battle. He focused on it watching as something mostly black feel from the rafters above. At first, he thought it was a Heartless, but after a moment, he realized it was actually a man. This man of Darkness was talking to Mickey as if he knew him…and that simply did not sit well with the keyblader. The mocking and chuckling didn’t help matters either, it only put Riku more on edge. He saw the guy pull out a strange sword and could feel the guy’s power. He took in his stance, noticing the way he was standing seemed like he was waiting for another. This guy knew how these battles played out and would not be an easy one to defeat. Hmm...He’d have to be careful of him. He couldn't rush this one.
Riku’s observation lasted only a second and then he was moving towards the man with the strange sword.
“Well, your type likes to make a person’s job harder than necessary. What? With you guys popping up whenever or wherever you want? You make it hard for everyone to keep track of you and prepare a proper greeting for you,” Riku responded back to the silver head man as he took a position firmly between the battle Mickey was having with the lady in red and this new comer. He paused to give the man in black a quick glance up and down before summoning his keyblade from the Darkness and holding it loosely in his hand for a moment. “So don't be so disappointed in the way things are run here.”
Riku gave the guy a brief cold smirk before becoming serious again. His words were spoken calmly with a sarcastic edge to them, letting the guy know he didn't appreciate him mocking his friend let alone his presence in the castle. He wasn't vengeful, but he wasn't about to let the guy walk away after throwing out fighting words like that. No, he'd fight the man and that murderous woman until he couldn't anymore. He would not let this place fall and he would not abandon his friend. In any case, once the words were out, he took a step back, his body relaxing as he raised his keyblade in his right hand until it was slightly above his head being held a firm and steady grip. The tip of The Way to Dawn was pointed towards the enemy, the small wing on it pointed downward. With his free hand, he raised until it was parallel with the blade above. His eyes and focus on the silver head man mainly, but he left room to be aware of the battle behind him. There was a slight moment of silence and then he gestured with his open hand for the man to come at him.
He was no fool. He understood this guy was strong. Stronger than even himself. He wasn’t about to go charging head first into a battle with an unknown opponent. No, it was better to see what the guy would do first...

Oh how Rosso was going to enjoy this. The person that came out to stop her merciless slaughter was none other than the wretched Mouse King that eluded becoming a public display of a Tsviet's power back in Traverse Town. She would now be able to get her revenge by not only killing the Mouse King, but also bringing down his entire kingdom. She knew the Mouse King would be worked up from seeing her after what happened last time along with his guards littered about the castle grounds. She would try and use that to gain an advantage over him. When the Mouse King jumped up and shot a ball of light at him, she immediately ran forward , it passing right over her. He would fall and bounce back, swinging his odd sword at her. She would counter with her blade, pushing back with surprising force. "Well well, if it isn't the small Rat King. So I invaded your home; what luck is that. Now we can finish our battle that was so rudely interrupted in Traverse Town. I'm sure the bodies littering your castle grounds would oh so enjoy for you to join them in death." Wth her free hand , she would gather energy around her hand. While still pushing forward with her blade against his, she would bring her free hand to come at his head with a Bloody Strike.
It was then that she heard a strange male voice. Someone that she did not know. She would jump back and take a look to see who it was. A man with short silver hair and a black suit. He would be carrying a unique double blade. He had a familiar feel, though she could not put her finger on it. She quickly grew irritated due to her battle being interrupted again. Again my battle is interrupted....I sense something familiar about you...Maybe someone that enjoys the pure ecstasy of killing people. You don't seem to be here to help the King, so I'll ask once for you to not interrupt our battle. I want to nail the rat to the wall and paint the ruins of his castle with his blood." She looked back at the Mouse King with a malicious grin. Because of his escape last time, she would make sure the Mouse King would suffer a slow, painful death.
It was then another person showed up. Was there no end to the intrusions? A young man in odd clothing and silver hair. He would speak to the other silver-haired man before summoning a weapon that was all too like the weapon the Mouse King wielded. "Judging by the weapon you hold boy, I would guess that you are here to save the Mouse King. I'm sure He will be able to keep you plenty company while I finish up here." She wound notion to Kadaj before looking back to Mickey. "Now that the intrusions are complete, why don't we get back to our fight. I am shaking with excitement at the very thought of carving you up." She didn't care too much about the others at the moment. She could worry about them later as long as they didn't get in the way of what she was doing. She hoped they didn't because fighting two or three on one would make for a very tricky battle. She could feel at the larger man in black was powerful, so she hoped that he was on her side. --------------------- Bloody Strike Used

His strike had been parried. Not surprising. The Mouse King had seen many skilled men and women fighters. He himself was amongst them, but Riku had taught him not long ago that he still had much to learn not just about fighting, but other things as well. As his key blade connected with the woman’s odd sword, Mickey only kept what strength he had focused on keeping the parry up. She chose to speak, once more insulting him and threatening him and now his kingdom. “You underestimate the power of light you evil woman!” he said, barely holding back as he strength seemed to increase. Seeing her free hand from the corner of his eye, he shoved forward with his blade by grasping it with both hands, then quickly cart wheeled backwards, the bloody strike just avoiding him narrowly. A neck slice, so early? Didn’t the dark usually like to toy with their prey?
When the woman jumped back, the next person to appear from behind her sent a startling memory through his vision. Instinctively, Mickey grabbed his arm, the long healed-over scar barley visible from when the silver-haired dark boy had left a mark. “Kadaj…” he said in a low voice, memories of their previous encounters flashing before his head. It had ended badly… but not this time. No. Mickey gripped his Keyblade tighter in his hand, sliding his foot back just a bit and focusing his energy of light, his head hung low and a glow emanated from his body, small for now, but something to grow. He would charge light energy into his body, channel it’s power. If he was lucky, he could charge it to full, then release it to send these villians back to the shadows. He could only hope that Riku, his sudden appearance causing Mickey to lift his head and smile brightly, could distract them both.

Raid #6

Post by kadaj on Oct 20, 2012 1:17:33 GMT -5
It was always so amusing to see how the mind of another individual of the Darkness worked. While a lot of the Users of Light could be pinned down as being 'the same', mostly in regards to when it came to defending the worlds from the forces of Darkness, to Kadaj, the Users of the Dark were all very different. True, they all wanted to see each world burn to the ground, but it was all thought out in different ways. Take this woman in crimson, for example. She looked like a battle-hardened warrior. The weapon in her hand must have spilled the blood of countless victims. It could be easily suggested that this woman's favoured choice of spreading her Darkness would be by slaughtering anyone and anything that just so happened to stand in her path. A simple method, but effective none the less. Kadaj on the other hand, Leader of the Remnants, he still had his powers of the Geostigma as well as boasting the strength, speed and insanity of Sephiroth himself. His choices were a bit more spread out. Infect the population with Geostigma and have them destrory a nation from the inside, or go down the Crimson Woman's path and spread chaos and panic with mindless slaugtering. It was too simple though, to take the latter. Too easy, too boring. No, Kadaj had to have fun. He liked to have fun, and seeing the faces of innocent people twist and contort with pure fear, was prehaps one of the best ways to have said fun.
After his descent, his presence was noticed firstly by the woman in crimson. Her eyes were full of excitement and murder. It appeared she had had a previous run in with the Mouse King and due to the fact that he were still alive, the situation must not have gone in the woman's favour. No matter, that was of no concern of the Remnant's. No, he was bored with the Mouse King. During all of their own encounters together, the little mouse had not been able to come out on top. A formidable opponent for sure, but just not in the same league as the Remnant Leader. That may well could have all changed though. It had been some time between Kadaj's and Mickey's last encounter. Whether the Mouse King had been able to grow stronger since then, was a question Rosso the Crimson would find out. The female's request... maybe 'threat', reached Kadaj's ears and he smirked brightly at the words spoken. A shrug of his shoulders caused the leather clothing about his figure to tighen and creak subtly. "Do whatever you want with the Mouse King. I hope he isn't too much of a boring fight for you. The Keyblade he holds is a powerful weapon used only be a few gifted individuals. Be wary; dispite it's comical design, they can pack a punch." Advised the silver-haired youth as he continued to smirk dangerously towards both Mickey and his female 'companion'. As she had requested, the fight with the Mouse King belonged to her, for before he had even arrived, Kadaj could already feel the approaching aura of someone very familiar.
"My dance partner is arriving shortly anyway. Don't worry about me getting in your way, but instead worry about you getting in mine." Kadaj's tone fell, turning dark and coated in evil as his bright smirk was replaced with a fierce stare, shooting and locking his glare straight into Rosso's eyes. It was common place for 'villians' not to trust one another. Rosso the Crimson and Kadaj were no exception... for now at least. Whether their goals shared a similar ending was unknown and only time was going to reveal that. The current time however, was one of battle and entertainment! Speaking of entertainment, the familiar voice of the silver-haired Keybarer reached the Remnant's ears with his own remark to not expecting any guests. While the remark itself was not strange, what caused Kadaj something to think about was the way the Keybarer seemed... 'foreign'. This WAS Riku, wasn't it? It looked like him and it sounded like him... but why was he acting as if he didn't know who the Remnant Leader was, as if they had never met one another before? The weird situation caused the silver-haired Remnant to cock an eyebrow, a confused expression spreading across his face as he only barely heard the comment coming from Rosso about 'more interuptions'. What was going on? Riku was prehaps the Keybarer Kadaj had crossed paths and blades with the most amount of times. Was he playing a game or a trick or acting like this on purpose to try and throw the Remnant Leader off guard?
To cut the silence seeping off the Remant, Kadaj raised his left arm up to shoulder height and pointed the twin-bladed Souba in Riku's direction, the sharp edges singing as they sliced through the air. The sunlight beaming into the corridor reflected off the mirror-like steel that made up the blades of Kadaj's unique weapon. His confused expression vanished as quickly as it had arrived and was replaced with a smirk and a subtle shake of the head. Silver strands of hair covered the brightly glowing turquoise eyes that shone eeriely within his skull. Whoever this Riku was, he certainly felt stronger from their last encounter, and seeing as that were some time ago, the Remnant Leader could only ponder just HOW much stronger the friend of Sora had become. "I trust you'll provide a good fight? I don't want to be disappointed now. Sora wasn't much of a threat and the Mouse King here has already lost to me numerous times. Can you do any better?" It felt weird asking such a thing to someone Kadaj was SURE he had already fought before, but there was still that strange, nagging feeling poking at the back oif his mind that this Riku was different to the Riku he remembered. It didn't really matter too much at the end of the day. This world was going to fall to the Darkness unless Riku and the Mouse King managed to drive both Rosso and Kadaj away, and that wasn't going to happen.
The out-stretched Souba held firmly within Kadaj's hand started to gain a colour. It was subtle but slowly gaining contrast, Within a couple of seconds, the twin bladed Souba had acquired a faint blue aura and seemed to be 'pulsing' with the energy being run through it. Kadaj's eyes flashed and seemed to glow brighter as if they were aflame, his smirk spreading from ear to ear as his face darkened, his eyes getting brighter still as a result. "I trust you remember this, Keybarer?" Kadaj asked with a dark chuckle accompanying his voice. He didn't wait around for an answer though, for he suddenly jumped backwards a few feet and instantly 'sheathed' the glowing Souba at the right side of his waist. The twin bladed katana seemed to burst flame as the power being charged within reached it's desired limit. A moment later and the blade was swung out in a fast horizontal slash, a Draw Slash
being launched down the corridor towards Riku that stretched wider than the narrow passage the four of them stood in. The edges of the Draw Slash sunk into the walls and carved them in two as if they were made of butter, causing glass to shatter and the walls to start collapsing under their weight. The true target however, was Riku, which the Draw Slash quickly rocketed towards. [/blockquote] -=Cooldowns=- Draw Slash - 1 Post -- 'Sheathing' his Souba by his side, Kadaj can gather energy within the blade and launch a razor sharp wave of energy that'll slice through near-on anything it comes into contact with. Deals Heavy damage if unavoided and can pierce through a guard/defence to deal small damage.

Riku listened to the two dark warriors talk. The woman was throwing around insults still and only turned her attention to him and the other to give them a warning or rather threat to stay out of her fight with Mickey. Ha! As if he’d listen to her. He wasn’t being cocky about this matter or foolish with his thoughts. No, he understood that these two were powerful warriors, but at the same time it was this very reason why he would aid Mickey in any way he could. He wouldn’t let him down. He couldn’t.
Regardless of the words spoken and the insults that flew left and right from both dark beings regarding the king’s ability, Riku was able to keep his anger down and instead focus on the silver head before him. He knew that Mickey would be alright for now, the sounds of the battle behind him were proof enough of that. In any case, as he watched the silver head calmly, he took notice of the confusion that crossed the man’s face after he has spoken. If Riku didn't know better, he'd think the man's look was suggesting that he was trying to pin some wandering thought about himself down as he simply observed Riku for a moment with those strange eyes and a raised eyebrow. Why would the silver head stare at him like that? Did this guy know something he didn't know? What was it?
On top of those strange thoughts those eyes the guy had brought even more confusion to the front. There was something about them that were oddly familiar and yet…Riku was very sure he had never run across anyone such as this man. No, he would’ve remembered the power that radiated off of him and the Dark stench from the guy if he had, so why was it that just seeing him pulled at something deep within him? A buried memory that refused to surface? He pondered it for a moment before his eyes narrowed at the silver-head as the man moved, raising his own weapon to shoulder level causing it to sing. He watched as the man shook his head, the confusion vanishing as he smirked and began to talk.
So he had fought Sora and Mickey…and called them both boring? Surely that was a joke, right? Mickey and Sora were no slouches in the defense department, so what made this one think they were boring? What sort of power did he hold to give him the right to say such a thing? And why…why did the answers to such a questions bring dread to Riku’s mind? He didn’t like this situation one bit. Who was this guy and if they had met why could he not remember? It was bothersome and a distraction he could not afford at the moment. He needed to concentrate to get out of this situation alive. He could find the missing pieces later. He shook himself mentally before answering the silver head’s question.
“Try me,” he said in calm cool tones, letting this guy know he didn’t care for him one bit and throwing insults out about his friends was only ticking him off. Regardless of the agitation that was building, Riku knew better than to let rage guide him in battle. It would not only cause him to lose, but also put Mickey in danger, so he kept his control as his eyes flickered to the man’s sword that was steadily changing color. What was that? And why was a feeling of déjà vu filling him up at the sight of the glow? The glowing eyes and shark like smirk was not helping matters either. When the silver head asked his question, Riku tensed as the silver head jumped back ‘sheathing’ his blade for a second. Riku watched as the energy in the blade burst out in a flame like fashion before the man was slinging the blade outward and sending a fast moving and wide energy blade towards him. The energy was tearing up the area around it as it dug into walls and windows sending debris and glass everywhere as it made its way towards him.
Every instinct in him told him to run, jump, duck, do anything to get away from the blade that he was sure would hurt him badly if he didn’t move; however, knowing that Mickey was behind him, he couldn’t do any of those things without causing his friend to get hurt too, so thinking quickly, he brought his keyblade down and across himself at angle using it like a shield to block the blow. He used his free hand to brace the blade as the energy blast made contact. The force and power of the attack pushed him back and broke his guard enough to allow some of that energy to hit him and tear into his skin, leaving small cuts on his arms and face as small tears appeared in his clothing. He gritted his teeth against the pain, but it would take more than that to stop him from fighting. He glared at his opponent across the way as the debris between them settled and became quiet. Behind him, he could sense light energy being pulled to a single source and looked behind him in time to see that Mickey was charging some form of attack. He knew he needed to buy him time, but how was he going to distract two enemies in two different locations?
Come on Riku. Think! Think! his mind scolded him as he tried to think of the best way to handle this. On one hand, he could indeed distract the woman behind him with an attack of his own; however, that would leave the silver head unwatched. He could summon allies, but…. Oh! Now that might work even better than attempting to summon. That wouldn’t take long and he still could deal with the silver head. Okay then. Let’s try that first and leave the summoning as a back up plan. Right.
With his mind set on an action, Riku turned towards Mickey as he charged magical energy within him. Once charged, he unleashed the golden aura of Haste upon Mickey. As the spell hit, the King would feel his body lighten as time itself became his ally for a short period of time. Praying the spell would help, Riku turned back to his opponent, tapping into the Light within him as he did so. As he raised his keyblade once more, a light aura surrounded him before he braced himself for whatever may come next.
Calming himself, he pushed off the ground using the extra speed from his now activated flowmotion to cover the distance between himself and the silver head. As he got close to his target, he pushed himself upward before coming downward with a heavy downward strike. He would start this counter off in a simple fashion and then adjust from there.
_____________________________________________
~Cooldown~
~Haste: This is a low level magic spell that doubles the speed of the selected target for the duration of 2 posts. It appears as a golden aura around the one I cast it on and it hits, which can be myself or a chosen ally. With haste, more combos and moves can be pulled off in one go and it could be the extra boost one needs to keep up with a speedy opponent. Once it wears off, you go back to your normal speed. The spell is nothing to special, but it is helpful nonetheless. Cooldown: 3 posts.
~Flowmotion: Activated. Duration: 1 post. Cooldown begins after the duration has ended.

As Rosso had hoped, the silver haired man the Mouse King referred to as Kadaj had no plans on interfering with her battle against the overgrown rat. Instead, he was going to fight the young boy who showed up. Just perfect, she chould focus on overwhelming and slicing up the key-wielding mouse with out any worry. When she turned back to look at the Mouse King, he was gathering energy until he started to glow. Whatever attack he was planning on using, she was going to stop him. She would put out her hand, a small white glow coming from her arm, a barrier would appear around her before becoming invisible. She made sure that whatever magic he was using, she would be able to protect herself from it while continuing her onslaught. Now what she needed to figure out was how to go about killing the beast. He already knew of her teleportation ability, so using it right now would do her little good. She needed to save it for when he left himself open to an attack.
It was at this moment that the young silver haired boy casted magic on the Mouse King. How dare he do such a thing? He had no business trying to aid the Mouse King. "Insolent boy. Trying to aid the Mouse King. Worry about staying alive from your opponent before stepping into my battle. I hope this Kadaj takes your life slowly." She would turn back to Mickey who was still gathering energy. "I'm assuming that we won't have any more interruptions, so we can play without distraction. I hope you provide some entertainment this time around instead of running the entire time." Her malicious grin would return as the thoughts of how she could mutilate the large rat. When she succeeded, she would leave his body in town for everyone to see. The might of the Tsviets would be known throughout every world.
With her Wall barrier up, she would jump up into the air, coming down with a powerful downward strike at the King. She was sure that he would dodge, but she did not care. She did not know what magic had been casted on the King, so she needed to figure out what it was and keep him busy long enough for the magic to wear off. This fact as well at the glow around the Mouse King were the sole reasons that she put up the barrier. She needed to make sure that she was prepared for any attacks that could get through her defenses or pose a problem for her. "So Mouse King, tell me how it feels to see your precious guards as a trail of corpses in your grounds? I must say that for a King, I thought you would have stronger guards. They went down without any effort, a couple even fleeing for their lives. It was quite pathetic. Their blood not even worth the enjoyment of spilling." --------------------------- Bloody Strike: Charge 1/2 Wall: Used (effect:1/2)

If his D-Charge was able to reach it’s full potential, then he could easily dispatch this woman, maybe even Kadaj. Or at the very least, he could disorient them until Donald and Goofy arrived with the top guards. With luck, Riku might also not be the only Keybearer to respond to his message, perhaps Even Aqua, Ventus… or the old Terra… reaching out to help. But even so, Riku was a key blade master, and one not seen before with his mastery and acceptance of both light and darkness in his heart. Like Riku, Mickey strove to walk the road to dawn, learning to accept darkness for what it was and let it have a place in his heart to rest. But he would not, and could not, tolerate these evil villains attacking his castle, threatening his friends, and seeking to kill, maim, and murder! With the vigor of the light beginning to already empower him, Mickey clenched the fist over his heart even tighter, feeling a second piece of power enter him and time around him seeming to slow. Time magic, level 3 variant from the looks… Haste! Throwing a glance over his shoulder to the fellow keybearer Riku and smiling, he focused it all to begin the return volley. Kadaj and Rosso had come here to attack? Well they would learn not to let someone’s appearance dictate their strength! Rosso made her move, leaping into the air after casting a spell on her own over herself, some sort of protection spell. Different than Mickey was used to, and not key blade magics from the looks of it. He wouldn’t be able to know till she did something else that might show it, but her movement was to drop down, blade coming down to him. Pausing his charging for the moment and using his increased reaction time and speed, Mickey threw up his key blade and blocked her strike, waiting for her feet to connect to the ground before striking on that second by pushing off with his own, hopefully throwing her off balance. It would only be a short hop to push her back, but hopefully enough to disorient her and then jump back a bit himself to put even more distance between her and himself. “You assualt my castle and then insult me? You’re more of a rude woman than I thought! You do not understand the true power of light, for it will stop you!” Mickey said, Once more taking a defensive stance to charge himself by clutching at his heart and glowing again. “There will be no more killing this day from you!”

Raid #6

Post by kadaj on Oct 27, 2012 13:22:22 GMT -5
The crumbling of mortar, the snapping of wood and the shattering of glass, it was music to the Remnant's ears as his deadly Draw Slash made it's way down the hallway, showing mercy to nothing, absolutely nothing, that stood in it's path. This was only a bog standard, run off the mill Draw Slash as well. If the silver-haired youth had decided to put more time into powering up the attack, then the result would have been even worse. But alas, he hadn't. There was no fun in defeating your opponent as simple as that, no it much more entertaining to have an actual, honourable match. Weapons would be swung, damage would be inflicted and over a course of time, one warrior would be standing in victory and the other would be laying or kneeling in defeat. It was a glorious! Pity that there was no one on either the side of Light or in the forces of Darkness that shared a similar view. Perhaps there were amongst the Light, but when faced with one of Darkness such as the Remnant Leader, the only desire revealed was to be the victory by any means necessary.
Really, this was a stupid war.
Still, better to get involved and have some fun over watching and letting others do it, right? Of course!! Though, there were more important things to be getting on with over wasting time fighting the Keybarers and Organization XIII and whoever else just so happened to cross his path. That was Sephiroth for you at the end of the day, his SOLDIER blood drove him to all sorts of challenges, never giving up, always wanting to be the best. It was the same with the silver-haired Remnant. But enough about that. There was a battle to be won and it was going to become very interesting, very quickly. The Draw Slash attack had managed to find it's mark, but was unable to do further damage to the castle or to be able to hit Mickey or Rosso either, for the silver-haired Keybarer had managed to block the attack successfully. At a price, but successfully nevertheless. It was a formidable feat and Kadaj was certainly impressed, as was made evident by his raised eyebrows, his bottom lip sticking out slightly followed by a few nods of his head.
"Not bad at all. Not many people can do that, you know? I guess that's why you're a Keybarer." Kadaj said aloud, his tone carrying how impressed he was as well as the expression he was giving. Pity he was unable to stop the attack from reaching and hallway walls, which, after a side ways glance, had been torn through by the blade of energy allowing the cool air from outside to rush in. The long curtains and banners hanging down the length of the hall started to sway within the new found breeze. Kadaj's cat-like eyes that continued to glow with their mako power, returned back to Riku and narrowed as a smirk spread across his lips. Flicking his left wrist a couple of times, the sharp blades of his Souba 'swishing' as they sliced through the air before him, Kadaj chuckled and spoke up, first addressing Rosso. "This 'Kadaj', does not take lives, woman. There is no point in killing a warrior who can provide a challenge. It takes away the fun, it takes away the chance to grow stronger. Though it looks like you hit your limit some time ago, so that explains your lust for murder. The Mouse King can probably pick you apart piece by piece."
The Remnant Leader glanced back at Riku as he had turned after surviving the Draw Slash attack. He seemed to place his attention onto Mickey for the shortest of moments, no doubt casting a spell on him or offering words of advice or some such. The glow that covered the Mouse King... the second glow one might add, indicated that a spell had indeed been cast. That's fine. It was typical of the Light to want to aid each other when faced with overwhelming opposition. The Mouse King appeared to be charging up something... gathering energy or casting a spell of his own... something strange. What wasn't strange was the ungodly amount of Light energy the silver-haired youth was feeling. Was it all coming from Mickey? Had he actually gone beyond the Remnant's expectations and grown stronger himself? This certainly changed things. Initially Kadaj was happy to leave the Mouse King to Rosso, but this little display changed everything. Turquoise eyes flashed as they refocused on Riku as he turned back around, the cuts upon his cheeks and arms bleeding slightly caused the Remnant to smirk wider.
For only a second, Riku had suddenly vanished from sight. Kadaj's cat-like pupils shrunk instantly to try and spot the Keybarer and track his movements. Had he cast the same spell upon himself as well? Something that could increase his movement speed, for otherwise, this was something the Remnant had not ever seen before. Speaking of seeing things... There you are!! Kadaj's eyes snapped to the side as his head turned, followed by his body, leather creaking swiftly. The singing of steel slicing through the air was swiftly snuffed out with an echoing CLANG as metal smashed into metal, Kadaj raising his Souba up over his head, bracing the flat edge of the blades with his right arm just in time for the teeth of Riku's Keybarer to dig into the scalp of his head from the fierce impact. Tiny cuts, much the same as the ones on Riku's arms... so... an eye for an eye, it would seem. The silver-haired youth had felt his arms buckle slightly under the mighty blow, the most logical cause for Riku managing to get his own back. A tiny trickle of blood managed to snake it's way through his silver hair and drip down his forehead slowly.
"Hmm... I see. Guess I ought to step up my game then Keybarer... you've grown stronger then I recall." Kadaj mused, being able to see from before how Riku had momentarily recalled a possibly meeting with the Remnant Leader. Riku was a hard book to read when it came to expressions, but his eyes were telling many stories. Flexing his knees, Kadaj pushed up and forced his Souba towards the roof, breaking the weapon-lock with the Keyblade Wielder. Jumping backwards a couple of feet, Kadaj's smirk grew wider once more as he shuffled his feet slightly to adjust his position. Carefully, calculatingly, Kadaj was changing his position. While doing so, he had brought his Souba back into a 'sheathed' stance as if he were going to fire a second Draw Slash at Riku. No, not quite this time around. A second later, Kadaj paused when he lined up Riku, Mickey and Rosso in a straight line.
"This is a new one, so don't blink!" Kadaj said with a sinister chuckle. The 'sheathed' Souba suddenly acquired a red glow this time which flashed brilliantly for but a second. Within that second, the silver-haired Remnant had vanished into thin air, leaving nothing behind but a tiny cloud of dust where he once stood and a trail of dust leading up to where he had suddenly reappeared a few feet behind Rosso The Crimson. A red aura appeared hovering in the air the moment Kadaj had vanished, which oddly seemed to make a wild change of direction just before Riku, Mickey and Rosso, which was indicating the path the Remnant's Souba had traveled. In that moment, a Souba strike was aimed at Riku's chest, Mickey's back and Rosso's stomach, followed by a violent vibration shook the hallway for a couple of seconds before the ground underneath all three warriors exploded skywards in a shower of rock and flame. Kadaj's Rupture Slash making it's debut for the first time.
-=Cooldowns=- Draw Slash - Ready!! Rupture Slash - 3 Posts -- Bringing his Souba down to the right side of his waist, Kadaj's Souba will glow red. After a moment passes, he will suddenly dash forwards and 'disappear' as he dashes across the battlefield in a single bound, attacking every enemy that stands within a line along his path, dealing Light damage. At the end of the path he travels, Kadaj will 'reappear' out of thin air, a trail of dust left in his wake and a trail of red aura is left in the path the Souba traveled, that, after a couple seconds, causes the ground below to rupture and explode upwards in a violent blast of rock and flame, dealing up to Medium damage if not avoided.

Words were just words if one did nothing to act upon them. While Rosso threw her threats and insults out, Riku ignored her not bothered by how angry she was getting about him interfering with her battle. It wasn’t that he was playing unfair or trying to ignore the opponent before him. No, the reason he was interfering with the battle was to buy Mickey the time needed to charge the Light he was gathering within him and unleash the power that would surely follow. One couldn’t charge up, if someone was in his or her face, so he’d continue to interfere until Mickey could unleash his attack.
In any case, Riku listened to the words that were being exchanged, narrowing his eyes slightly as he listened to the silver head man speak. First, the guy was complimenting him on his block of the strange slash that had ruined the area before setting the woman in her place by telling her what he did not do. Hearing the Dark speak of challenges and growing stronger was nothing new; however, the way this one spoke, it sounded closer to a honorable fight than anything else and that is what made the words odd coming from someone of the Sark. On top of this, it would appear that the man was not exactly supportive of his ally and instead rested his fate with the Mickey’s ability rather than the woman’s as he flicked his sword around with a couple of flicks of his wrist. Odd, but then again Dark like Light were simply creatures and people each with their own attitudes and views on the world and how things should be done. He supposed it should be expected for the warriors of Dark to snap at each other and disagree on things, right? Even Light did that sometimes. Besides, they all had a different way of achieving their goals and sometimes that way didn't line up with another's. Dark warriors...they weren't so different from the Light, were they? Riku pondered this a moment and then shook his head and refocused on what was happening. No time for distraction.
Anyway after the talking had been done, Riku took his chances of taking his eyes off his opponent to aid Mickey by casting Haste on him, glad the woman didn’t do anything to interrupt the spell. In response to the spell the young keyblader saw Mickey look over at him and give him a smile in thanks for the help and in return Riku had simply nodded back before turning his attention back to his opponent. He charged up his Light powers, activated Flowmation, and made his attack; however, his opponent was quick to react, raising his strange blade to meet his own. There was the loud sound of the two blades meeting and clashing together as Riku’s fall was halted although he remained suspended in the air for a few seconds. He tried to use his weight and gravity to push downward on the man’s blade, but the man held his ground easily enough only getting a minor cut to the head as the Way to Dawn’s teeth were able to cut into the man’s head slightly. As he landed on the ground, struggling to win in this weapon lock, Riku saw the blood begin to trickle down from the wound and across the man’s face. As they stayed locked, the man spoke to him as Riku kept his aquamarine eyes on him. To his words the keyblader smirked slightly.
“I do my best not to disappoint,” he responded back not sure why the words had come to him, but at the same time they had felt right as the memories within sought to line up and remember why this man was so familiar to him. They remained locked for a second longer and then the man’s weight shifted as he bent his knees and then forced his own blade upward. In turn, Riku’s blade was forced upward with the move, effectively opening him up for an attack as he stumbled back trying to regain his balance from the action; however, instead of coming forward to take advantage of the situation, the silver haired youth jumped back and began moving slightly as if he was positioning himself for something; however, what he was positioning himself for Riku did not know for as soon as he had recovered, the man had stopped moving and had ‘sheathed’ his blade once more telling Riku that the next move was something new.
Gritting his teeth, Riku tried to use the power of Flowmation to quickly launch himself forward and strike the man with a horizontal slice; however, as soon as he dashed forward, the man vanished and instead his blade clang as he hit an unseen blow that would’ve hit him in the chest had he not at least attempted to stop the man from whatever he was doing; however, the block was not a clean one and knocked Riku back some from the force. Before him, the boy only saw a strange line of red as he tried to recover from the hit.
Tch! Where did he go? Riku thought as he caught his balance and took note that his enemy was no longer in front of him. That technique of his made him too fast to follow even with flowmation on him. He scanned the area quickly picking up the man’s presence right behind him a split second before the second attack came. All Riku had time to do was turn slightly, his eyes widening as he saw the explosion that was guaranteed to hit. There was no time to react as everything happened quickly and the next thing he knew, a wall of heat and rock was slamming into him from behind and forcing him forward as the attack shot from under their feet before exploding outward. Riku flew, hurting from the attack; however, he managed to bite through the pain as he quickly turned his body in mid-air with the last of the flowmotion power within and struck out viciously at the rocks that were still air borne with him. As he swung, he created small flaming projectiles that were sent back in the direction of the silver-head man, the keyblader's blade easily slicing the heated rocks into the small bits. With any luck the projectiles would do so minor damage to the man; however, Riku did not get to see the results. His fight and attack only lasted a second and then the light power wore off and the young man hit the ground, sliding backwards on the broken ground. He dug his shoes into the ground, wincing against the pain, but slowing himself down enough so that the bump against a broken wall coming up quickly from behind was not as bad as it would’ve been if he had done nothing. Staying down in a kneeled position with one hand on his knee and the hand that held the keyblade resting against the ground for support, Riku was breathing hard as he fought against pain and slight fatigue from the battle. His shirt was badly burnt in the back and the rocks and fire had done quite the number on him; however, he wasn’t down for the count yet. He couldn’t give up not when he had this world and a friend to defend. He had to get back up, even if his body did not want too.
Riku winced slightly as he looked up through his bangs, looking at the spot that the fire geyser had erupted from. That silver head man had attacked everyone including his ally and while Riku did not care so much about the woman, he was worried about Mickey. He had no time to defend him or himself, so he only prayed that his friend was able to escape the blast zone…if not….
The keyblader gritted his teeth in both anger and pain as he forced his aching body up to his feet. He swayed slightly as pain threatened to take him down again, but he fought it until he was able to stand once more. That blasted had knocked him further away than he wanted to be and with his friend in potential danger, he needed to get back over there in a quick fashion to aid him, but with flowmotion gone what else could he do? He thought for a moment and then coming to a possible solution, he bowed his head.
That move, huh? he thought to himself not really liking having to do what he was about to do, but knowing that the action was actually the most useful one for the moment. Understanding what needed to be done, he nodded inwardly to himself as he moved his keyblade before him grasping the handle with both hands as he leveled the weapon and pointed it in the direction of the battle. He closed his eyes as a light aura began to surround him, but instead of Light, Darkness began to flow off of him. He raised his blade above his head as his feet left the ground and he began to float into the air as the Darkness within him began to gather as he prepared himself to unleash one of his more dangerous attacks….

~Cooldown~
~ Dark Aura: Charging and will be unleashed on next post.
~Haste: This is a low level magic spell that doubles the speed of the selected target for the duration of 1 post. Cooldown: 3 posts (begins after duration has ended).
~Flowmotion: Activated. Duration: Completed Cooldown: 3 posts.
