regradless of warnings the future doesn't scare me at all Ventus popped the muscles in his neck briefly and bent himself down to touch his toes the sound of his back popping as he did the sound of which cause echo slightly throughout the forest clearing. He had spent the last couple of hours trapped inside of his arm and it didn't exactly help his body any, the damn thing was already pretty knotted after all that sleeping hid did. He couldn't help but wish that at some point during his slumber someone would have come into the room and walked around with the dang thing, it would have it so much easier for when he woke up. "Oh well! It's just something I'll have to deal with for now." the words escaped from his lips as his arms went up behind his back and he began to move. The Enchanted Dominion was still as pretty as ever, but for as beautiful as the world was it certainly held a dark force on it. At least it had at one point, Ventus wasn't too sure if Maleficent was still running around here. After everything that had happen to her with Sora and at The World That Never Was you'd think she had given up her life of evil, but things like that just didn't happen. It wasn't like they were living in a fairy tale word huh?
He chuckled lightly to himself as he began to moved further into the clearing, if he remembered his way to the world right it wouldn't be much longer until he reached the large cobblestone bridge. He wondered if those fairies were still here? With their world having been returned from the darkness you'd think they'd have returned instead of sitting around Yen Sid's tower but you never know right? Even if they weren't surely that princess was here enjoying her newly restored Kingdom and staying away from all the baddies after her heart. As the blonde finally came up the bridge his feet stopped moving and his eyes squinted towards the lone figure that was making his way towards the castle. "I wonder who that is..." Ventus muttered to himself as he tried to make out the figure in the distance, who...just kept getting farther and farther away. The youth took a deep breath reached all the way inside of his diaphragm to yell out and wave towards the figure in the distance, "HEY! WAIT FOR ME!"

This is my FamilyKeyblader | Profile | LightThe Beginning He had slipped to sleep on the beach. The warm sands were pressed to his back as the soft murmur of the ocean filled his senses with a familiarity that brought him calm. He had only meant to rest his eyes, but the warm sun ebb him into a gentle slumber that deepened as time passed. The crash of the ocean against the shore became more distant and soon became background noise against his senses. A soft chirp in the distance caught his attention, drawing him from his deep sleep. Brows would knit as he groaned, his arms had been folded behind his head, but the strange feelings forced him to roll onto his side where he curled in against his body. The sounds continued to intensify as the winds soon picked up. The warm sands had become soft grass, the warm air a chill nip that ran a light fingertip over the young man’s exposed flesh. He deeply inhaled, the sea air having changed dramatically. The grasses released a warm aroma that was reminiscent of spring time. Eyes snapped open, the blue orbs focusing his blurry vision.
He snapped forward. “Whoa!” His hands fell to his sides, the heels of his shoes sliding against the grass.
There was a moment of disorientation, a confusion that swirled around his head like water rushing down a drain. Looking around he found that he was no longer on Destiny Islands. But how did he get here? Where exactly was here? His face twisted, contorted in a clear mask of confusion. Looking down he would find his fingers digging around long blades of verde while his sneakers had dug up the mahogany soils beneath in his frantic movements. In the stead of being greeted by the usual blue skies of the Islands he was met with an unfamiliar world above. This wasn’t his sky. These were his fields of sand and sea. Trees fiercely anchored themselves into the landscape, reaching high above what any palm tree could. Shifting his weight he raised his right hand to inspect a few blades he had unearthed.
‘If there other worlds out there, how did we end up on this one?’
Old memories rang in his ears. The young Keyblader pushed to his feet, tilting his head. “Huh?” He mumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Am I dreaming?” He could still walk the Dream Paths without struggle, but he did not remember making such an effort.
He had thought he heard the chirps of the Spirits, but looking up he realized that in the trees a few bluebirds perched, singing their morning songs. His cheek pushed up, causing his right eye to squint a bit. Suspicious he reached up to pinched his cheek harshly. “Ooow!” He rubbed at his face and pouted. Okay, so he wasn’t asleep. So -- where was he? “What happened?” He seemed more confused than anything.
Did things like this just happen? How did he get here without a Gummiship? He couldn’t have used -- no. He never had such an ability to use a Corridor of Darkness, and he highly doubted he held the skill to ever use it, especially with that sleeping inside of him. Raising his hand he gripped his fist around his crown chain, feeling his heart beating beneath his chest. Wherever he was it was pretty. But if he was here, maybe Riku or Kairi were as well?? Looking around the Keyblader would look for a higher point. He needed to get a better vantage of where he was. Was this a sleeping world and he just didn’t know? Or had something different happened?! The fields were flat, the steppes barely a hop above the next. His attention would be called toward the singing birds. That was an idea… Rushing to the tree Sora would kick off the trunk and reach his hand out for the extending branch.
The birds spooked and fluttered away, onto a higher perch. Glancing up Sora grinned roguishly. He had not meant to scare them. “Sorry…” He spoke aloud as he pulled himself onto the branch. Wrapping his legs around the support and resting his gripping hand to stabilize himself he began his search. “Where am I? None of this is familiar at all.” If he was in another world, it wasn’t one he had visited before.
The bluebirds landed by Sora, curiosity drawing them closer to the Keyblader. With his hand over his eyes he would focus his view on the distant scenery. There he would spot a castle on the horizon, its walls tall and not very inviting, but it was a landmark he could easily follow. The birds tilted their heads, twittering at the strange boy. Sora cheered out and pointed toward the structure, spooking the birds into jumping back again. Sora looked down to them and grinned.
“Thanks for letting me use your tree! I think I found my way!” The Keyblader slipped from the branch and flipped backwards before landing on the grass below in an ungraceful crouch. Looking up he waved his hand. “See ya!” And he set off!
He raced across the open fields and tumbled over the stony bridge with glee. It had been a long time since his last adventure, but what had pulled him from the Islands so unexpectedly? He heard an echo carry over the air and wondered where it had come from. Was it coming from the castle? This thought only spurred him on. When he arrived at the castle he was amazed at how much bigger it was up close. From far away it was already impressive, but now he was unsure how he would get inside. The walls were several feet high and the massive doors didn’t look like something he could easily open. He inspected the high door, hand reaching out tentatively. He couldn’t hear much behind the stone and worried if it was okay to enter. He didn’t want to end up trespassing like he did at Beast’s Castle. He hadn’t been too keen on that. The gates creaked open and Sora stepped in.
