Nightmare was forced to go and collect the shards of the seals he had dropped. The man thought this was completely stupid and pointless and had decided that the events in Disney Town were far more interesting than collecting some stupid seals.
Sadly, the party-pooper had arrived and headed the recruitment process. It wasn't long before he was handed four team mates to go and collect these shards. Thankfully Sandman had explained how the seals needed to be kept sleeping or else some horrible things might happen. Nightmare then casted a spell to take them to the sleeping world of Traverse Town.
"Tch. I don't see what all the fuss is about. Though, it would be fun if we kicked Sandman's butt and found more of these shards than her team." Nightmare stopped for a moment and smirked. "Hey! Let's make this a GAME! We should collect more shards than that worry wart and show her who's boss! We will move worlds after all the shards have been collected. Try not to get eaten by those cute creatures."[style=color: #43336c; text-align: center; letter-spacing: 1px; background-color: #0a0722; padding: 2px;]TAGGING: HERE | WORDS: HERE | NOTES: HERE[/style][/style] |

Posting in the "Quick Reply" will not work. In each post during a mission, you will use the code [rand*] without an asterisk.2, 6, 9 - You will be attacked by three Dream Eaters to battle on your own. Cooldowns will apply.
1, 10 - You will encounter Nightmare. However, if you have already had a run in with the man, 1 will allow you to fight a Dream Eater while the 10 will allow you to collect a shard.
3, 4, 5, 7, 8 - You will gain one shard of the seal for your team. Encountering NightmareNightmare is not just clumsy and lazy. If he becomes interested in something, he tends to be a bit mischievous as well. He may begin to wander through the realms of dreams and cast “Blinding Fear” on the members at will. Nightmare will invade random threads and since he can only post once in a thread and then vanish into thin air you do not have to react to the attack. However, there may be a reward from the Sandman for responding to the attack in the end.Example: If Tseng is sent into a nightmare, he might see Sephiroth killing one of his Turks, or maybe even the President, while being unable to stop him. He would then need to interact and fight the nightmare in order to come back to reality. The first post is your introduction of being dragged along, then you post the rand code. When your turn comes around again, you respond to the number in your previous post. All shard collected will be tallied by the staff. You may tally it yourself if you would like. After 48 hours, you may skip the person who's turn it is to post

Just what had Nier gotten himself into?
The festivities of Disney Town had already caught him unawares; the swordsman had merely happened upon the world by chance, and only later discovered what the celebration was even commemorating. And given his lack of leads to pursue in the first place, he had even taken to partaking in the revelry a bit. Nier still very much had a purpose, but there was nothing to do for it. And who knew? Perhaps he could stumble upon a new trail to follow. These people certainly seemed to know more about the situation than he did, given that this Organization fell long after the fall of his world and he still hadn’t heard of them. That was the problem when there was no centralization among the worlds. Information hardly spread when the existence of other wheres was a well-maintained secret.
He had not celebrated long when he was approached by a woman of light hair and dark complexion. Her appearance grabbed his attention, reminiscent of the people of Façade as it was, but it was her words that held it firm. Words of seals of some nature, shattered and scattered. To be honest Nier did not fully understand all of what she said, but determined at least that she was in need of assistance and that something bad would occur if she did not receive it. And when it came down to it, wasn’t that the only thing worth knowing? So without much forethought the young man became one of several volunteers so conscripted, with yet more gathered in time. Some of them were quite odd, but he imagined he might look pretty strange himself.
Eventually another showed up, and seemed to be somewhat put-off that this Sandman had already gathered a small mob. Apparently called Nightmare, he was to claim half of the group so that they might divide and conquer. The reliability of this new fellow was....questionable, to say the least. But Nier would simply have to suck it up, because much to his chagrin it was his half that he got placed with.
Such were the events that now placed him in an empty Traverse Town with four strangers. It was fortunate that their hunt began here, as he was fairly well versed with the layout. Considering the nature of this world it was possible that the rest were as well. This should go smoothly enough, even if the “cute creatures” Nightmare spoke of were somewhat ominous. He’d find out about those sooner or later, he guessed.
“These shards....we’ll just find them laying around?” His question was not directed at anyone in particular, and no sooner had it left his mouth was he slowly wandering off. There were really a number of places magical seal things could be, but he decided to keep it simple first and simply strode down the first alleyway he came to, marching until he hit a fork. With grim stoicism his eyes wandered down either end of the split, still somewhat unsure of what he was looking for.
(SORRY KIND OF CRAP. Also reposted because I think I broke the randomizer when I previewed my post last time.)

As Demyx's foot steps echoed through the solemn town, the nobody began to recollect how on earth he had gotten himself into this mess. It all started when Demyx had heard there where festivities going on in the world known as "Disney Town" intrigued by the promise of leisure and relaxation. Though upon his arrival he had come to the realization that the celebration was due to the anniversary or the Organization's defeat, and he was an Organization member. Though being the care free person he was, he plopped himself down onto a bench and began to strum his Sitar, lazing away by the summer breeze. His relaxation was sadly cut short by a young woman with a graceful aura about her, and a dark young man who somewhat reminded Demyx of Zexion.
The woman had then explained to him about shards that had been spread across the worlds, and that she had cast them into a sleep. Now Demyx has never been one for listening to lectures, but he did pick up one word in the first sentence, sleep. As the woman lectured on Demyx marveled upon the fact that he would be able to sleep and help somebody out, this seemed like a win/win situation to him. Demyx blurted out he would help, most likely cutting her off mid-sentence, though he wasn't paying attention. The woman gave him a kind nod and went off to recruit others, as the time passed she had eventually collected seven others for the "mission".
She then sorted them into two teams, hers and the mans who Demyx had recently learned by the name Nightmare. Then off they went to Traverse Town, where after a brief revision of what they where doing, (one in which Demyx didn't tune out) Demyx had discovered to had plopped himself right into the middle of some actual "working" mission. Letting out a groan Demyx, trotted off from the group to look for the mystic shard things or whatever the heck they where called. Demyx then had finally approached a small opening from the narrow alleyway he had been traveling in. It was small and quaint, but could be the perfect location for a shard.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] So clever, whatever I'm done with these endeavors
This was going to be fun!
Sora of course had been invited to partake in the Disney Town festivities, and of course he couldn't say no. He always had fun at home cooking with his parents as a kid on some of the rainer days, so the cook-off seemed like a perfect way to let off a little steam and have some fun! But it seemed like trouble was never too far away and never took a vacation, as some new visitors he had never seen before approached him and asked for his help joining a team they were forming. Apparently since his name had gotten around as a infamous keyblade wielder, there was some seals that had gotten lose from the Realm of Sleep, and they needed his help to collect the shards they had shattered into or something horrible would happen to the worlds.
Like he needed to be asked! Sora had been to the Sleeping Worlds and dealt with the Dream Eaters before, but even though the lady oddly enough called Sandman explained all the details, the young man that had recruited him called Nightmare cast a sleeping spell on him even though he could have gotten there the way he had gone to the Realm of Sleep the first time. It had been a while since Sora had been back to the sleeping world of Traverse Town, and he was glad at least this world hadn't returned to the Waking World yet, if only because of the people he had met here. Neku, Rhyme and Shiki, all of them had needed this world at some stage in order to survive when they had perished in the real world. And if Sora didn't find those shards soon as well, a lot more people from his realm were going to be doomed.
Sora decided to take a different path from the others, even though he woke up in a new location in the First District. Waking up next to the Mailbox, he yawned, and looked down to see he had gotten his red clothes back. Once he had re-examined his clothes, he took the path not many knew about after he had examined the first District, a secret passage underneath the mailbox which lead to the large Mailroom area. He wondered if the other people Nightmare had recruited were around, or if he was in a seperate Traverse Town from the others, like he and Riku had been throughout their first adventure in the Sleeping Worlds. He began to look around for the shards, summoning his Kingdom Key and hoping it would lead the way to the shards revealing themselves, as well as for any of the Nightmare Dream Eaters.

Deshi had been lingering around Disney Town having fun playing in the Fruit Ball Tournament and while he had been bumped in the head during the match by a giant pineapple, the warrior’s happy mood had not been dampened. He remained carefree and content that the Void was sleeping for the moment…that was until something happened that turned fun into business once more. As he was moving about the booths, he saw a strange woman and a man in the town that seemed to be looking for people to do something for them.
Curious as to what it was all about, Deshi drifted over to the people gathering around the pair to listen. The pair was a woman named Sandman and a man named Nightmare. The woman seemed all about business, while the man seemed like he didn’t care at all and didn’t even want to here for that matter. They were a strange pair of opposites, but seemed to be after some strange shards that had been dropped. He heard a lot about sleep and something about the shards doing something disastrous if they weren’t found before they woke up, but none of it made sense to the mercenary. Throwing out the unnecessary information, he focused on the part about the shards and finding them instead. At least that he did understand and after consideration decided to lend a hand. After all, no reason to let a disaster happen if it could be stopped before it got out of hand, right? Joining the group, he watched as the lady took half of the folk gathered with her and left him and three others with the lazy looking man.
He looked around at the group he was with taking note of each. A white haired mercenary looking type, a man with blonde hair wearing a strange black cloaked, and finally a child with a cheerful attitude that for some reason had a pull to him that made the calm mercenary want to know who he was, but at the moment he had no time to ponder this. As he turned his eyes back towards the man known as Nightmare, he found himself becoming really sleepy as some form of a spell was cast.
He remembered blinking, but when he open his eyes again, he was wide awake again…or at least he thought he was. He looked around the place for a moment trying to reorient himself. The colorful nature of Disney Town was gone replaced by the soothing colors of night and the warm glows from buildings all around. As he looked up at the star-lit sky, he realized exactly where he was. This was Traverse Town…but something was off. It felt different and the way he had gotten here? He pondered this for a moment. How had he gotten here? He thought back and could only remember getting sleepy before arriving here.
Had he been drugged and taken here or…?
"Sandman and Nightmare. What do they have in common kid? the Void asked him calmly. Well that was easy. One put you to sleep while the other…oh! Now he got it. He wasn’t awake at all. He was sleeping and this version of him was in a dream. That explained the sleepiness and how he had gotten here, but could not remember the how of the matter. Right. The Sleeping Worlds to find the shards. Got it.
His mind ran through this for a second and then was focusing on the situation at hand as he heard the man called Nightmare speaking. The man was annoyed about this job, but decided to try and make it fun by turning it into a game to beat Sandman at finding the shards. Okay. Desi supposed that was alright. It still didn’t change that this was still a job, but at least he could do something he enjoyed: finding what was lost.
Anyway, after giving them the task and pretty much telling them to be careful, everyone began to move their own ways. The white haired man in dark clothing was asking how they were going to find the shards before moving down an alley while the blonde kid groaned before moving elsewhere to begin his own search. He didn’t know where the third party member went, but he was sure that he was somewhere in the town and that Nightmare wouldn’t just leave him behind. So with that all being said, Deshi began to move towards one of the large double doors using his mental map of the area to find his way over to the door he sought and enter the Second District. As he entered the place, he remembered that this was where he had fought the armor with the woman called Elena; however, unlike the real Traverse Town this one had more lamp post and other decorations in it, making it more lively than before. He took it all in before letting, clearing his mind in the silence of the area. Nodding to himself, he began to walk slowly around examining everything searching for these shards that had been lost. As he searched for the shards, he kept a watchful eye out for the "cute creatures" Nightmare spoke of, wondering what they were.

He watched as 3 Iceguin Ace attacked the one known as Nier Two of them trying to hit him with a Blizzaga while the last of the three froze the ground underneath it and Neir to try and slide and hit it.
While he was being attacked though all the other idiots on his team didn't get ANY shards. How were they to beat the Sandman if they weren't finding anything!? He smiled devilishly, "Perhaps a little punishment is in order," he chuckled as he spit his body into three all of them vanishing from his original spot. From there he ended up behind Sora, Demyx, and Deshitana to touch their shoulder, and if he was able to get them he would whisper a chant into their ear and they would see their worse nightmare come true.

Hmm, no luck so far. Nier’s wintery eyes scanned up and down the passage. There was nothing to really obscure his vision, so he had to conclude that none of these so-called shards were here. I guess it wouldn’t be that easy, he concluded. If the shards were just laying in the street, waiting for someone to skip around and scoop them up, Sandman and Nightmare probably wouldn’t need them at all. Stone-faced as ever, he began to traverse the alley, intending to continue his search wherever it happened to lead. The locals had other plans, however.
He could not be sure what he had heard that tipped him off. A subtle noise; his combatants’ arrival, perhaps? Or even the casting of the spell? Whatever the case, the swordsman’s focus was briefly attracted to something at his back. When he turned his head to see, Nier found that the entirety of his vision was blocked by a hurtling chunk of ice. Acting on reflex he raised his nearest arm in a guard and turned his body to better receive the impact, but there was logically no stopping an object of that size with one’s bare limbs. He felt a moist chill as the projectile knocked him off his feet, its jagged ends cutting gashes in his arm, shoulder, and cheek, all stinging with the sheer cold. He was thrown to the ground and sent into a tumble, his sword clanging audibly from his back as it repeatedly struck the stone-cobbled ground. When he did finally come to a stop he propped himself up on all fours, giving his head a quick shake before assessing his attacker.
Not far from him were three creatures that seemed a patchwork of color, their bodies superficially resembling strange squat birds. They looked more comical and strange than outright dangerous, but if that ice attack hadn’t betrayed their malice then the glowing red pinpricks they used for eyes certainly did. Clearly these were the monsters Nightmare had referenced in parting.
They didn’t look like much, but his experience moments ago would indicate that they were not to be taken lightly. His injuries now were minor; his defense was practically nonexistent, but that attack could very well have taken him through the head. Even if it didn’t kill him outright it would have left him in poor shape to further defend himself. He drew up into a crouch, a hand wrapped around Beastlord’s elongated handle. Whatever these unusual beasts might be, they wished him harm. Furthermore, as he noted with a steel gaze, they all too closely resembled Heartless. They would find no mercy.
A second ice missile was fired, to which Nier stood and brought his sword upon in contradiction. He had thought that the momentum, combined with his strength and Beastlord’s formidable weight, would be enough to break up the attack. But it seemed that this magic would not be so easily cast aside, and his eyes flared in disbelief as he instead found himself forced back. Ice rushed against blade and his planted feet were drug across the ground, until his back collided roughly with the far wall. But here, with both hands guiding the weapon’s guard, he found safety. With little more than a grunt he forced Beastlord through the Blizzaga, having finally killed its momentum. Fragments of ice sparkled in the dim lamplight as he cleaved straight through, so that his sword actually rang out against the stone at his feet. He felt it unwise to challenge those spells with physical force in the future.
The enemy was not through though. As he sundered the foreign object he caught sight of one of the birds, which was rapidly closing the distance. Nier had thought them slow on account of their stubby legs, but it seemed they could move with frightening speed by propelling themselves upon their stomachs. And thanks to his preoccupation with the assailing ice it was already too close for him to muster a physical guard. Still, he would not allow this attacker to go unpunished for its boldness. The sword’s tip lay where it had fallen, but from his shoulder arose a massive limb of shadow. The Dark Hand clenched its umbral digits into a fist and, when the bird was close enough, brought its full might down upon it. If the punch did defeat the monster outright, then he hoped it would at least halt its advance.

As Demyx slowly entered the opening he glanced around once more, it was desolate barren and empty. It appeared to be very inactive, which did surprise Demyx due to his knowledge of Traverse Town being a port world, one in which members of destroyed worlds were more often dropped into. Though the Organization had been a rest for the time being, and the heartless hadn’t caused quite that large of a commotion lately, so the worlds may have been safer as of late than usual. Demyx still couldn’t help but feel inevitable darkness breathing down the back of his neck, the Nobody snapped around immediately to survey the area, had it been the Heartless? No, they wouldn’t disappear they would lurk in the shadows though still in site.
Immediately Demyx felt his presence and turned around once more this time catching the man in the act. In front of Demyx stood the man known as Nightmare who had been the leader of Demyx’s team, possibly he was checking rounds on the fellow members of the team or possibly trying to moderate Demyx’s search due to his current reputation of slacking off. As Demyx inspected the man he began to realize why he had been known by the name Nightmare whether it be a nickname or not it definitely withstood to the man. He had light dusty purple hair the fell upon his pale tinted purple skin that seemed complement his dark deep purple eyes, on top of his slender figure Nightmare wore a light grey V-neck shirt underneath a dark black purple jacket that all fell above his dark black pants. The man certainly appeared to be one that could create the stuff that made up Nightmares.
Demyx began to try to spark a conversation with the man, “Hey there… Nightmare right?” Though Nightmare didn’t appear to content with sparking a conversation with Demyx, he had a blood lust in his eyes. Whatever it was Nightmare didn’t appear to friendly or in a good mood, so slowly Demyx back away from the man who to his surprise approached him and tried to place his hand on his shoulder. Demyx was swift to avoid the man though as he dashed to the other side of the plaza, Nightmare had a plan and Demyx didn’t want to follow it. “Nightmare I’m going to go search for a few more of those shard things.” Demyx blurted out back towards the square as he ran off in another direction away from the source and away from Nightmare. (OOC: Didn't include a Rand since he technically didn't end up searching.)

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,480px,true][atrb=cellpadding,3px,true][atrb=cellspacing,3px,true][bg=939d8f] Alone I walk the winding way(here I stay)
(OOC: So sorry! I didn't realize it was my turn to post until Demyx pointed it out to me, would have posted sooner if I did. I deeply apologize!)
As Sora entered the Post Office to look for the shard, he found nothing at first. But as he exited towards the Fountain Plaza, he felt like there was someone moving up behind him, but before he could turn around there was a tap on his shoulder. "Who are... you...? What's going... on? Why am I so... sleepy?" He yawned, as suddenly his vision blurred, his body becoming sluggish and heavy as his eyelids before darkness took him.
~~~
Sora awoke in a rocky plateau. He had seen this place before, when he had taken a portal to Disney Castle and battled the living armor that spoke in his mind about having hatred for Xehanort. Having taken the portal back, Sora had not found this world again, but now it came back to him in his dreams. The scene he woke up to was like something directly out of a horror movie... all around him, his friends lay still and lifeless, unmoving. Kairi. Riku. Mickey. Donald. Goofy. Roxas. Lea. Naminé. Aqua. Even the black-haired girl, and the boy that looked like Roxas. All of them lay still, damaged, as if from a great battle.
"Kairi! Open your eyes!" he yelled worringly, running over to her, shaking her. But there was no life in her, no heartbeat... her body was so cold. A shadow was cast over him, and Sora looked up. Master Xehanort, Xemnas, Ansem, Young Xehanort, Xigbar... and behind them, Kingdom Hearts had risen, and from it darkness was spreading over the world. The bad guys had won, and slowly a darkness grew over Sora as he was turned into his Anti-Form, the villains pointing at him as if he was the one that had taken the hearts of all his friends. Sora sank into the dark puddle that had emerged beneath him, until all his vision could see was a pinpoint of light, with no warmth and no friends calling for his name.
Just cold, empty darkness, where no-one could hear his muffled screams.
Whaat would come next?
No luck in finding the shards in the Second District so far, so with a light sigh Deshi turned to head back to the First District and start a new search there. As he took his first few steps forward, he sensed something behind him and even felt someone touch him and heard the whisper of strange words. On instinct, Deshi whirled to see who was there wondering if the thing behind him was a threat, but he saw nothing. Frowning slightly, his dark colored eyes scanned the area some more just be sure he hadn’t imagined the sensation or touch, but his eyes found nothing.
Still suspicious of the whole ordeal, Deshi turned to leave once more, but froze as a voice spoke to him from behind.
“Are you running away from what you’ve done again?” the voice was cold and familiar. Deshi felt his heart beat quicken as tension seized him. That voice….why…why was it not in his head? Slightly unnerved, Deshi slowly turned to face the speaker. Not too far away stood a man with pale skin and long black hair that hung in elegant waves over his shoulders. His frame was thin, but fit and the dark clothing he wore were in tatters, all of their once grand elegance lost to time and decay. The man wore simple jewelry on his fingers, wrist and neck, all tarnished and falling apart, but he did not care. The only thing familiar and new looking was the bracelet the man wore on his left wrist with the crimson tear drop on it and the cold grey eyes that were carefully taking in the area before resting on Deshi.
This man was the Void. He understood this simple truth, but how…how was the Void separate from him and why? What was going on? Was this real? No. No it couldn’t be.
“You’re not real. You’re just the bad part of this dream, so just go away already,” Deshi told the man calmly, hoping that by addressing the figure that it would indeed vanish; however, the figure did no such thing. Instead, he chuckled coldly at him.
“Ah yes…about that. These Sleeping Worlds? This dream? Did you really think they were just tricks of your mind? That nothing could harm you here and that things like me would only be figments of the mind?” the Void asked him as it gave him a mischievous smile. Deshi frowned at these words.
“What are you saying? That this is all real? Nonsense,” Deshi said as uneasiness began to settle within him, making him fidgety and wanting nothing more than to leave.
“Oh is it now?” the Void asked with a cruel smile before stepping forward and vanishing. Just as soon as the man vanished he was behind him Deshi wrapping an arm around his shoulders. The coolness of the creature’s skin sinking into Deshi's body, sending chills down his spine. He wanted to pull away, but found he could not.
“Now. Now. Behave. I don’t want you getting broken for trying to resist my binding. I have too much to show you for that to happen right now, so just be a good little boy and pay attention,” the Void said as he pointed forward with elegant finger tipped by a black nail. Deshi’s eyes reluctantly moved from the pale face next to his to look in the direction the creature had pointed to. The smell of death and blood was strong in the area, but why?
“What are you doing?” Deshi whispered, truly on edge now.
“Lifting veil on this little “dream” you claim you are in and showing you the truth,” the Void said and then fell silent as the entire Second District began to tear away like old paint. The ripping sounds were deafening, but were slowly becoming screams and cries of help and pain as the smell of death, fire, and blood filled the air. The scene shifted into one of a leveled city still burning in a field charred and peppered with craters from powerful spells. All around were dead bodies or the bodies of the injured trying to pull themselves to safety. What was this? Where was he? What was going on?
He heard the Void chuckle from somewhere in front of him and looked around until he saw the creature floating a few feet ahead, rolling in the air as it laughed at him. What was so funny? He tried to ask the creature this, but found his voice was no longer normal. Instead, the words came out as a low growl directed at the Void. The sound surprised him, but made the Void only laugh harder.
“Hehehe….y-you…hahaha….you look so nice like that Deshi. I don’t know why it took you so long to finally show your true beauty,” the Void said as it slowly composed itself and wiped away tears from the corner of its eyes before it gave him a cruel grin. “And look at the beauty you have created,” the Void said as it gestured to the blood bath all around in a dramatic fashion before locking its grey eyes on Deshi once more, but Deshi was not buying this.
He did not kill these people. The Void had done it. This was all just a bad dream. He’d wake up from if he tried hard enough, right?
"Why not give your theory a whirl?" the Void said, reading his thoughts as it kept an amused eye on him. Deshi did indeed try to wake up. He shut his eyes, tried to force himself awake, but the sounds and smells did not go away and when he opened his eyes the scene remained the same.
No, no, no, no, Deshi thought as panic began to seize him. This was not real.
“Oh but is, my dear,” the Void said as it floated towards Deshi until it was directly in front of him. Deshi noticed that the Void was still floating as it looked him in the eyes. Why was it not on the ground instead? Why did it need to float be eye-to-eye with him? Before he could ponder this oddness any longer, the Void spoke again.
“It’s hard to accept the truth, I know, but you did indeed caused all this and without my help at that. I didn’t think you had it in you since you were always on your high horse and believed so firmly in the Light. You had me really scared you know? I actually considered moving out, but you know what? I am so happy I didn’t,” the Void said giving him a gentle smile as it applauded quietly in delight. Deshi growled and tried to swipe at the Void, but was horrified to find that his hand was no longer his own, but the hand of some creature with fur and crimson claws. Shocked, Deshi paused staring at the alien hand.
The Void, who had avoided his swipe, chuckled in amusement.
“Would you like a better look?” the creature asked innocently before floating to a safe distance away. Deshi watched as the creature pointed at the ground summoning a rather large mirror that at first he thought was ridiculous; however, as he caught a glimpse of the creature in the mirror, his thoughts changed.
Staring back at him was a large creature made of black fur with a red main and red tipped tail. The face was wolf like and had blood soaked fangs protruding from the lower lip. Chains covered the beast's body an the paws were giant hands instead of the norm and the eyes…the eyes were his. He could see the fear and disbelief there, but he could not deny the facts before him. He heard the Void chuckling and looked to the side of the mirror in time to see the creature peeking from around the corner of the mirror's frame.
“We told you you would lose. That your Light would not save you and now look at you! Proof that I was right!” the Void said, clearly pleased with the event. In anger, Deshi dug his clawed hands into the earth before charging forward, aiming to crush that mirror that lied and the Void. He hit the mirror and felt the bite of the giant shards of glass as the huge item fell and crashed, but the Void had been missed. The creature floated about laughing at his anger.
“Oh, so vengeful. Nice, very nice, but look what you have done now, Deshi,”[/color[ he said pointing below with a snicker. Deshi’s eyes lowered to the ground and saw that a large mirror shard had crushed something. A small arm was sticking out from under the broken shard. Deshi gasped inwardly, before carefully moving the shard to see what was under it. Almost immediately, he wished he hadn’t. Releasing the shard as if it were fire, he backed away from the small figure under the shard. It was a child. He had killed a child.
As he looked horrified at the spot, the Void laughed madly clearly enjoying his torment.
“You see. You are truly worse than me, my friend. At least I was able to keep my human form, but you? Hhehehe, you’re a beast!” the Void taunted before continuing to laugh. Deshi shook his head not wanting to listen or believe. No, he wasn’t like this. He wasn’t a beast. He didn’t kill and yet….that child. That poor child…he had done that hadn’t he?
The nightmare continued to rage on within him as the distressed warrior wondered if he could ever live with himself and this…this vision he was slowly accepting as truth.
