Silver was Impatient, Irate and overall getting on Jim's nerves as he poked new destinations on the portal. Jim wanted nothing but to take the treasure and get out but it seemed he would some competition on that little venture. As the portal's door opened and closed with each press Jim remembered something. "Buried in the Centroid of the Mechanism..." "What If the whole planet is the mechanism and the treasure is inside the center of this planet?!"
But before the words could escape his lips disaster struck and a horde of black alien like things popped out from the portal. The pirates paid them no mind but when one attacked and pulled something that looked like a heart from the pirates' chest the chaos insued. Jim took this opportunity to swipe the orb from the indent and some extra ammunition for his laser pistol from a pirate and jumped into the portal without thinking. Not taking a notice that the portal had changed again to a small dimly lit town where the citizens wander aimlessly past.
Now he just had one thing on his mind "Where am I?"
~
A light green triangular portal opened up in a strange town as the light from the portal gave off a glimmer that lit up the night sky. Jim tumbled out of said portal then the portal closed from behind Jim.
The dimly lit town covered in eternal night was laid out before Jim as he paced the streets of an unknown town and looked for a sign of civilization but so far Jim has yet to find much. Jim knew how he got here due to the portal and the strange black aliens that attacked everyone. This wasn't Treasure Planet anymore so it had to be one of the destinations from the portal but where was here exactly?
Jim had to figure out what planet he was on quick as well as find a space port and get onto the next boat back to Treasure Planet.
As Jim looked around the strange town he looked for any sign of people and a possible space port. "Hello?! I need to find a spaceport! Does anyone know where one is here?!" Jim shouted

Jovial Prince of Thieves
Town was no strange new world for the thief, but he really wished there was a better stop between this way and that. He had arrived about two days ago with Invincible. He would be stuck here for another two days until he could figure out the problem. Invincible had warned of dangerous space up ahead, but so far as Zidane could see it was clear, diamond studded space. Was Invincible keeping him here on purpose? That, in itself, was a silly idea. But he has felt that sometimes that ship could think and act on its own. The rogue was at the Moogle shop getting his blades sharpened and upgraded. He was hoping it would give him an edge in combat, and provide a bit more umph against Heartless. The rogue leaned against the window of the upper shop. The Moogles that were not working hard found place to use his tail as a jumping rope. There really no stopping them, so he had to just bide his time until they were done.
“Finished, kupo!” The head Moogle called.
Zidane turned around as the white-furred craftskupo floated over to him gripping the Mage Mashers in his arms. The thief turned and shooed away the other Moogles who fl off giggling. The rogue marched toward the Moogle and held out his hands, collecting his blades as they were shuffled back into the waiting thief’s arms. The rogue smirked. The edge of the blades were sharp, looking as if they were newly forged! He has had the blades for a long time and always made sure to take care of his weapons. A thief was only as good as his blades were sharp. Spinning the blades across the air the thief would snap them back into his holster, his gloved fingers tingling at the feeling of the cleaned and smoothed daggers slicing the air. Settling his hand on his hip, while the other dug into his satchel for the Moogle’s payment.
“Thanks guys! I really appreciate it.” The rogue tossed up a round object which the head moogle caught. “A fresh kupo nut, as promised.” The rogue brushed his finger under his nose.
“Kupo! Any time!” The shopkeep laughed and munched on his reward.
Zidane waved his hands as he jumped onto the ladder heading down to the lower shop. Sliding down the ladder he would head out into the street. Snugging his hands into his pocket the thief decided to get to work. A few pockets picked of the tiniest prizes may bring him a quick drink at the cafe just across the way. He did ah -- admire the work the waitress did in that lovely top~! Sometimes it was nice to look when your mind was so stressed and full of problems. He hoped everyone was okay. He had to get stronger too! Catching eyes with the waitress the rogue smirked and waggled his brows in a suggestive manner. It was not long before he bumped into the guy shouting for help. The pickpocket staggered back from the kid.
“Whoa, sorry about that.” He grinned, shuffling his hand into his pocket.

As Jim walked around the small town he began to become agitated by the amount of stares he had gotten from people here. It was unnerving and annoying to say the least but Jim tried not to care. There seemed to be more activity in the Cafe' than the rest of the town which made Jim curious if anyone there would know where he was. As Jim walked to the Cafe' a young boy bumped into Jim as the boy was running by. This would have been no problem if he hadn't noticed the boy reach into his pocket and grab his map. It was too late though and the boy took the golden orb from him!
"Hey give that back! You have no idea how much that is worth to me!"

Jovial Prince of Thieves
“I don’t, but I bet it’s worth a lot more to someone else!” Of course Zidane did not realize he had taken an heirloom.
He was far more interested in the map. They were always hard to come by and quite the commodity. He was not in the business of taking heartfelt objects from folk.
The rogue was quick, and rather small. He looked pretty ordinary at first glance so he seemed to be someone who was hard to pick out of a crowd. His clothing was flashy, but at the same time a bit dull and without glamour. Silk and cotton clothing were reduced in value by the numerous wrinkles and patches of dirt that often riddled the street urchin. It was not that Zidane did not keep clean, but sometimes adventuring got you a little messy. He ran straight along, twisting past people and Moogle alike. His blond hair was pulled back in a ponytail tied off by a blue ribbon which matched the silk one around his jabot. The shorter lad looked about James’ own age, even if a bit on the short side of that! The boy was much older than he appeared, but at the curx of maturity for his people. He made a straight running for the tall walls that separated the lower entry point of Traverse Town with the higher placed shops.
“Let’s see just how sharp the Moogles made these!” The thief wiggled the gloved fingers of his right hand while his left snugged his new treasure in his pouches.
Drawing his blades in one deft motion as he passed a number of townsdweller the rogue would snap his blushing blades back into his single holster. He had cut the belt off of a man’s shorts, sending his trousers to the ground. In shock the man called out, as did many people around at the uncouth reveal of his moogle printed undergarments. Zidane let out a wolf whistle to further embarrass the man who quickly bent over to pull up his pants. The rogue pressed his now free left hand to the man’s back, using him as support as he jumped clear over the wall. That was certainly an inhuman ability and why would he be human? As he flew over the wall his tail became an obvious flag of his distant origins as anything ‘human’.
The boy laughed as he was carried with his strength alone over the wall, landing on the otherside. The Moogles were watching outside of their windows with squint eyes and bouncing baubles.
“There he goes again, kupo…” The other Moogles chirped in agreement.
The Gemone looked up toward the second floor of the Accessory Shop and grinned, waving his gloved hand. “Nice and sharp, thanks again guys!” He laughed and headed toward the Second District.
The moogles called out and waved. “Don’t get in too much trouble, kupo!” “Please come again!”

The boy had picked the wrong person's pocket in Jim's opinion. Jim knew that was his key to treasure planet and the only way he could rebuild the benbow inn. This guy just stole that from him and he wasn't going to let him get away with it! Jim doesn't look like it but he is rather quick on his feet. Jim now despite his taller appearance was tailing the boy who had just took the map who was trying to outrun Jim.
"Not gonna happen!" Jim said as he quickened his pace to catch up with the boy. As he thought he had almost had him the boy drew a pair of matching blades and cut into a man's belt and used the man as a distraction. Jim in his mother's eyes was a very smart boy and this led on that Jim could think ahead which in turn he did. Jim hadn't expected the belt to be cut but when the man reached down to pick his pants up Jim used the man's back like platform to get onto a roof nearby. Jim used this chance to jump to another roof close by and jump down unharmed by the fall on the other side of the high wall.
"You won't get away!" Jim said as he continued to tail the boy.

Jovial Prince of Thieves
Zidane was not one who liked losing a prize he had his eyes on, but the sphere had not been one of them! He always spent his time people watching and observing folk who came in and out and made their way about and around the town. A quick pick-pocketing often allowed the boy to eat for the day, or entertain himself with a chase. For him, oft times, this was a game or a means to train his body. He was not one for lying around and a sleepy place like Traverse Town had a way of lulling you into a false sense of security. The Heartless were pretty concentrated in the Second and Third District (he heard the Fourth District was shut down a long time ago). Usually he would pinch some gil, or a loose accessory hanging of a civilian or warrior. But finding a traveler with an actual map of the worlds?? It was his lucky day!
Zidane had easily dashed his way across the flat streets, turning around he would make a straight dash for the Second District doors. The tall doors spanned miles high, and he walls holding them even higher. With the vertical climb not even Zidane could climb it with ease nor could he push them open quick enough to escape being caught, but the doors were not his target. In the stead of hitting the doors the boy took off toward a pile of boxes behind the Moogle’s Workshop. He would allow his gloves digits to cling to the surface of the crates, pulled his body up the first set. Looking back he would smirk before bending his knees and kicking off the top of the lowest box. With a few quick hops the small male was able to climb his way to the roof. The soles of his boots were perfectly conditioned to his lifestyle, a tail swaying and giving him perfect balance.
Getting to the top of the roof he would dash right to its edge, almost usable to stop at his speed. Staggering forward: arms and leg would pinwheel as he held place on that edge. The jump between the Moogles Workshop roof and the next was not all that far, but it was higher placed, making it easier to jump off then jump up. The young rogue looked back, seeing if the younger male was still chasing him.
"Gotta hand it to ya, this map must be pretty important to ya." But he was not talking about the sphere, though it could have been mistaken to be: his prize was the paper map. "This should be fun." The rogue offered a mock, two fingered salute.
Swirling on his heel he jumped off the roof's edge. His boot pushed off the edge, sending the smaller figure into the air. The jump had an unnatural power to it, the strength in the off bound apparent thanks to the slip of roof tile that came undid with the force. The thief hit the other roof, heading into the Second District with ease. He turned and waved his hand before back flipping onto his next path. The boy was quick, and agile, but in all his bluster he had no idea what he had taken!
On the rooftops of the Second District, he would make his way across the sleepy shops, shut down for the night.

Jim couldn't let this pickpocket get away with his map, his way back home and his only hope for making his mother proud of him for once! As Jim jumped down from the rooftop he had been on and continued his chase down the flat streets he came to a pair of big doors. The pickpocket was nowhere to be seen! quickly glancing around Jim noticed a stack of boxes next to a mailbox. As he quickly climbed he almost lost balance as one of the boxes had not been there. Jim thought quickly and jumped on top of the mail box knowing that the mailbox was flat on top he jumped to the next box and to the roof above it.
The pickpocket was in his sights as Jim chased him down he noticed a tail behind the boy as he ran. Jim was about to make a snarky comment about the guy's tail but the thief noticed him and said that the 'Map' was important to him and gave salute before jumping to another roof in the most inhuman way. Jim was even more frustrated now and had to get it back as this monkey boy knew it was map to other planets!
Jim stopped as the now dubbed 'monkey boy' ran off. Jim saw a few flag banners tied up with rope and had an idea to use them to get across. As Jim untied about three ropes to hold his weight Jim swung across and landed just near the edge of the roof on the other side. The monkey boy was farther away now but he had gained more speed as he ran across the rooftops toward where the monkey boy was.
"Give me back my map!" Jim shouted as he kept running.

Jovial Prince of Thieves
Zidane felt his heart pounding against his lungs as he rushed across the tiled rooftops. He had shown no signs of slowing down even after his near fall on the edges of the ceramic, scaled canvases painting the high steps of Traverse Town. His tail bobbed behind him, weaving to the very opposite of where he turned. The counterbalance the limb provided was imperative for the rouge, who had much grown used to his partnership. Tucking the map into his satchel he made sure to stuff it under that round object he snatched up with it. He was unsure what it was, but for the Genome, it was inconsequential. The metal sphere would weigh down the map and prevent any mishaps from occurring. The bandit deftly twisted his fingers to button over the latch of his satchel which sat snug behind him, just at the side of his dagger’s holsters. Turning his eyes toward the next roof he looked up toward the Gizmo Tower. It would be his best bet for getting away from the kid, and hide out.
He rushed over to the next roof, ignoring the small, yapping barks from one of the manors below. His blue eyes scour around, contemplating on his current situation. He tightened the muscles in his legs before kicking off and pushing onto the roof of the Gizmo Clocktower. It was a curious place that always seemed abandoned, but it always was running. Stepping onto the roof there were a number of crates and places the thief could bunker down for the night. He needed a rest anyway after his run. It has been a while since he had a good one. He would have to hand it to that kid. Not many could keep up with him that long. Looking around the thief decided it was best to hide his loot. Getting caught with it on your person was always sketchy. He made his way over to the large bells atop the clocktower. By the way they were covered in dust they looked pretty unused. It would be a good, inconspicuous hiding spot.
It would be no simple task hiding in there. He had to contend with gravity. Searching about he would locate a loop of rope. Drawing his blade the thief cut a bit off before heading back toward the bell. Hopping over the thief quickly tucked away the map and sphere, using the bell’s hammer and the bit of rope to secure the two treasures. Shuffling out from beneath the bell he looked around. He had to make it a bit more muddled. He smirked and began to move several of the crates to make it seem like he was fumbling about. Satisfied with his work he set a few of the boxes up high so he could better overlook the Hotels. Hiding there would be gold. Snatching up the rope he had used he would secure it to the boxes and try to lasso across the way so he could make himself a tight rope. The thief would manage to catch it after the second toss and pull his walkway taut.
“Man, talk about a tight situation!” He spun about to drop off the roof before grabbing onto the rop and shimmying across.

Jim's heart started to pound against his chest as the monkey boy headed to a strange tower in which made a lot of mechanical sounds upon arrival. Jim stopped to take a breath as he had no idea if he had caught up with the monkey boy or not but his intuition told him this would be a great hiding spot for the thief if he had run out of breath as well. Jim could hear many different sounds and scratches against metal as he started to walk in but then stopping himself before going any further Jim took out his laser pistol and loaded a shot as it made a noticeable ring that said to the gunner it was locked and loaded. Keeping the laser pistol held close Jim investigated and looked around to see many possible spots the monkey boy would hide.
"Last warning monkey boy if you surrender the map now I will only beat you to a mild pulp, but if you don't..." Jim held up the gun in the air for a few seconds then held it close to him again. "...Things will turn ugly!" Jim warned in a harsh tone of voice.

Jovial Prince of Thieves
Zidane had heard the kid shouting, but he was already crawling across on the rope, shimmying like there was no tomorrow. But the thief heard the lad insult him, call him a monkey and try to act tough despite the situation. Clearly he had no idea who he was messing with! But Zidane was always up for a bit of fun. Once the rogue reached the roof of the hotel via his makeshift tightrope he would reach out his gloved hand to grasp the edge of the roof. With a graceful motion only befitting the animal everyone claimed him to be, the rogue hoisted himself onto the lip of the roof’s concrete perch. Shuffling his rump so he scooted back enough not to dangle unsteadily on the edge: Zidane looked toward James. He jumped onto his feet and rest a hand upon his hip. Motioning his free hand he seemed to dismiss James’ taunting threat.
“Who the hell are you calling a monkey, kid?” Though Zidane himself looked way younger than even James. "When you look like some goofy turnip!" He jeered, pushing his hair forward as if to mimic the traveler's unique hairstyle.
Zidane himself stood at about 5’ 4”, but that measurement could have been quite generous considering the fancy heeled boots he brandished. His features were peculiarly feminine and his eyes an oddity in the brighter lights of Traverse Town's neon signs. The rogue’s arms moved to fold behind his head, the elaborate crossing of belts, satchels and his holster rattled on his hips when he shifted. Behind his head his fingers intertwined as his lips pulled up into a cocky smirk.
“If you want that map back so bad, come and get it.” Nothing like a good chase for the rogue.
Maybe he’d feel bad in a bit that he took it, but for now the kid’s expressions were really something to bite at. The rogue would motion to the tightrope. If the kid couldn’t even keep up what hope did he have of getting his treasure back? The kid seemed really amped to get it back, but it would be up to James. The thief had no idea of the sphere’s worth only that the paper map was worth the risk. What would James do? Zidane waved his hand and hopped off toward the west. He would move to climb the side of the Gizmo tower, out of sight of the boy. He was going to make his way behind James and redirect him to grab his loot once more.
