An exaggerated groan could be heard from above as the next round was prepared. "I said specifically not to fail me! That was the quickest round I've ever seen! I admire your swiftness but come on now, I didn't even finish my drink! Oh dear oh my! Well, the show must go on! The semi-finals, no less! Hm, well in order to ensure my entertainment I have decided to switch it up a bit! I think you'll enjoy what I have chosen to be the next arena!" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SILV AND BLACKOUT YOUR ARENA HAS BEEN CHOSEN! Only moments after the two combatants would enter the normal battle arena, the entirety of Olympus Coliseum would fade and be replaced by a A Seemingly Endless Ocean! That's right, water for billions of miles in every direction. No land, no boats, just empty open-sea. Do not worry though, the combatants will soon find that they have the ability to walk on water! However things are not as straight forward as they appear. Moments after the contestants' arrival, dark clouds would roll in overhead! It soon began to rain, and lighting would begin flying across the sky (followed closely by its brother thunder). this storm would have a drastic effect on the oceanic battle field, causing the smooth watery surface to become violent. Wave after wave would rise and fall, but once again there was no need to worry. Thanks to their new ability, all this would do to the warriors is take their fight to a third dimension. The voice of the knight sounded off once more: " Prepare yourselves! COMMENCE!!!"

S I L V ❦ And the next match was coming up. Having had to sit out for a round didn't sit well with the Heartless woman. In any case, to go for the next match gladdens her quite some. Hearing her name being called out, she stepped out into the arena and walked to near the center of the arena as she waited for her opponent. She had watched some of the previous matches when she had to sit out the last round, so already knew how this person looked like. When the opponent arrived, this douchebag of a knight appeared again in his stupid manner before the place shifted again. With a sigh, she looked at what kind of ridiculous place they were in now. To find herself standing on an ocean, she blinked a few times and checked her feet, but she was well standing on the water and the storm didn't seem to do too much either. The waves did make her bob up and down randomly, but she couldn't care less. Darkness started to gather in her axe as she started to charge her Dark Beleaguer, "hey, idiot," she called out to her opponent before lifting her arm in his direction, "eat this," suddenly she fired her Memory of Dark as a stream of Darkness was fired at Blackout. ------- action i. started charging dark beleaguer action ii. used memory of dark at blackout

Two opponents down, and it seemed as if the soldier, Blackout, was reaching the end of the tourney. Every time his name was announced, the crowd applauded louder and louder. The screams were heavier and the anticipation was higher. Fear had informed the man through his mental whispers that his next opponent was a heartless just as his last, except from the fight he witnessed; much more aggressive. Silv won as she was the aggressor with her match against the puny girl, so in case it came down to that again, Shiro would have to play with her rules. Or; make her rules his own. Besides, keeping with the same strategy every time would be tedious and recognizable, therefore giving himself his own weakness; predictability. It was time to change things up to cement his name into Olympus Coliseum and the visitors from afar. Blackout was a name to be respected, idolized, and feared; as Ansem would want it to be. That wasn’t his ego speaking, but his mission at hand, and thanks to how close he was to achieving it; he felt confident. However, that meant anything but that he’d take the upcoming challenge lightly. Shiro’s mind was a 24/7 running machine; no breaks to relax. With that thought in mind, at the sound of his name being called forth, the man left the lobby with his previously used gear (a knife JUST to throw, two pistols with the limitation of using one at a time, and his sword within his backpack) and into the dark hallway; to bask in the obnoxious praising of the audience. Their fight was about to be remembered by many.
What was there to say about the arena that they were going to fight in? Once the waves consumed the ground and there appeared to be no escape; two dark beings amongst an endless sea alone. As soon as the arena shifted, there wasn’t much time to enjoy the pleasant smooth waters thanks to the lovely storm that started to brew before their eyes as what seemed immediately. It was a new atmosphere for Shiro, but the analyst would have to adapt quickly. At first, the man thought they would have sunk, but the heartless and the intellect remained on surface like it were a miracle. The question, brought up in the head of the Utuago boy, was what were to happen if a massive wall of water to collide with them? Would it act as a wall or as an actual violent wave? Some feeling told the man that they were about to find out. It was sink or swim, metaphorically, and the analyst noticed his opponent was getting prepared to be the swimmer of the two, amplifying the effects of her axe in some way. Then she referred to the man on being an idiot and firing a dark blast, expecting the man to “eat” it. Muttering with his distorted voice, ”Charming.”
Darting off in an extremely quick manner, the man bent down his head as he ran; as a rhino would do midst a stampede except with a gun in his hand. The black head of hair was rapidly enveloped in bright yellow metal, the sun’s light bouncing off the helmet into anyone who dared to stare into the glare. The great dark ray of energy collided into the metallic covering, creating a grinding of water particles as the soldier was forced back slightly as he tried his best to keep his firm footing amongst the wobbly waves. However, the damage was visibly unclear if it affected the soldier other than that. It was what under the helmet that was affected. Under the heartless representing helm, Blackout had no facial expression as the energy did not hurt him, but his partner instead. The whispers of pain flew through his mind like wildfire, bringing down Fear’s will to assist. No matter, as the soldier intended on ending the fight before then.
The environment seemed to be on the intellect’s side as well, the man noticing a gigantic tremendous wave coming their way from Silv’s behind. There was only a few moments they could have before being slammed by that thing. The question was, was it solid or would they be swept away by the raging tide? Regardless on the answer, Blackout wanted to get over that thing; no chances would be taken. From the corner of his eye, the fast thinking analyst noticed the water molecules that splattered earlier slightly above the surface in an odd fashion; like it had no gravity itself, as if a rain drop were to stop moving before it hit the ground. A tiny wave crashed against it and yet the particle stayed. Did that mean the water was solid? It was time to experiment and knock out two birds with one stone. As the man ran towards his opponent across the sea, Blackout leaned down midst dash and cupped a handful of the physic breaking water. The man did so with the other hand too. Once done, the man whipped his arm in a under hand throw, watching the water solidify and freeze in the air in awe. (Pete approved) With the massive, what was no doubt then, a giant unbreakable wall coming their way; the analyst believed he had found his ladder to the problem.
With that, the man jumped up and bounded off the lowest splash of water and continued to do so until the very top. Afraid of Silv copying what he had done, the man whipped out his pistol as he bounded off the water, alternating legs with the tip of his toe touching each one, and shot three focused bullets at his heartless opponent below him as he ascended above and past her; towards the wave. At the top and with the wave incoming, the man booked it and bounced the farthest he could possibly do in their environment and managed to grab onto the top of the tide A.K.A. the ledge. Pulling himself up with no hesitance, the soldier ran up the curve, sliding off the back of it when over the difficult angle. Landing on the sea again, the water splashed a tiny bit in altitude like one would achieve through jumping on a puddle; solidifying and freezing midst its fall (or at least descending at a really slow pace). With the obstacle conquered, the man turned his body one hundred and eighty degrees to see what had happened to his white haired opponent. Was it bad to say that he preferred Creed, the soul devouring sadist, over the rude aggressive heartless?

Actions used
3
Action 1: Brought Fear to physical form as his head made contact with Silv’s “Memory of Dark”, knocking two birds out with one action; absorbing the hit, bring Fear’s health to 6/10 and summoning his helm for protection.
Action 2: Entered way of the Soldier.
Action 3: Used Clear shot. Rolls below. Anything above 30 is a hit, since it has a 70% chance of hitting.
o.o Damn I got lucky. So this requires three actions to dodge all bullets I believe, unless I’m wrong.
Abilities used
4
Way of the Soldier Lvl1-: This stance requires the ability Stance Change. Blackout draws one of his signature given pistols, either “Pride” or “Valor”, and his knife, giving him the ability to perform close combat and to shoot at will. If one of his pistols are stolen, dropped, or lost, and he decides to draw another, it counts as one action. In the stance, Shiro is a tad rusty with close combat, but still remembers the skill well enough to defend himself. If knife is unusable, he just uses one pistol and just hand to hand combat.
Stance Change-: Blackout changes stances to be able to use different weapons for different strategies. [Cool down: None, the ability to change stances is passive, but requires an action to perform.]
Clear Shot Lvl1-: The ability requires the Way of the Soldier stance. Focusing on a target, Shiro can fire one of his pistols with what seems to be perfect accuracy, for three shots. With the memory that he has, the chance of hitting is 70%. [Cooldown: 1 post] Activating this ability counts as one action, both focusing and firing the pistol three times.
Fear- A heartless that stems from its source, a tattoo of a heartless insignia. It connects with its host (reading thoughts, communicating mentally with the host), being able to whisper to nearby heartless and is able to connect to other heartless of its type. There is no physical appearance until it becomes one with the user temporary, creating a physical helmet that protects the head. It also combines the voices of the user and the heartless itself; for Shiro’s case it is this. The summon only officially takes place when it becomes physical, as the tattoo can never die unless it is killed by another heartless. The HP only applies to Fear when he is physically summoned; and when his HP is zero, the physical form does not return for the entire thread and the only move usable would be the Whisper. Fear holds a higher position among heartless, therefore has a say to heartless that follow the command of Ansem. [HP: 10 Cooldown: 4 turns.]
---
Regarding edit: I just changed the color for his speech, as Shiro hadn't summoned Fear before he spoke.

S I L V ❦ Weird mask thing, Silv thought to herself, remembering the helmet or whatever it could even be. Not that it mattered all that much as she fired her blast. The man seemed to take the hit without much of a problem. She could hear the waves, uncertain how this water would affect her, not that she cared much for it for now. It appeared that the man was analyzing the water instead. Lowering her arm, Darkness continued to gather into her axe for the Dark Beleaguer. It appeared to her that the opponent was making a staircase of water in a sense by throwing it up. Wait, how does that even work?, she didn't fully understand this as she formed an orb in her hand that was the Dark Seed. Seeing a gun, having fought gunners before, she didn't mind being hit or anything, but instead she chose to simply avoid it all in one go. Along with the wave and everything. Stepping back, a Corridor to Darkness opened up and she sunk right in as she vanished. The Corridor closed just before the opponent was firing his shots, having seen her taking her leave. Above the wave, Silv reappeared from the Corridors and came falling down with a grin. Moving the arm forward with the seed, she crushed it in her hand as sent out a shockwave all around her in an attempt to sent the man flying back down from the shockwave. This would cause him to get crushed by the waterwave as well. She couldn't see how he could dodge a wave that went all over the place after all. The man had chosen to fire his bullets when she reappeared, the bullets punched into her body before the shockwave actually happened, making her grit her teeth, but still continuing her action in launching the shockwave. ------- action i. continued charging dark beleaguer action ii. used corridor to darkness to dodge the bullets and the wave action iii. used dark seed to cause a shockwave around herself while above the wave and the man

(Due to overlapping, REWIND Consider Shiro making it past the wave in the first post of mine somewhat voided ^^)
As the soldier ran up the rough curved surface of the tide, something caught the soldier’s eye; a flickering darkness from above. That spark erupted into a portal of sorts and out came the woman that he was determined to defeat. Apparently his bullets to keep her down were in vain, but no matter; every strategist didn’t have the perfect strategy for the first encounter with an opponent. It had its flaws, such as surprises, which Silv was completely capable of pulling off. In her hand was a rippling dark sphere that seemed to spark and static upon her palm. What was the play?
The soldier found out soon enough, as soon as she was close enough, the man was gone. There was great force that rested inside the “seed” which knocked Shiro off the tidal wave midst his run. Fuck. With the wind knocked slightly out of him, the hazy minded intellect only had one chance to recover before being crumbled by the massive wave. On his descent towards the front of the wave, the man extended his arms at an angle behind his back, allowing his backpack to slip off. Once he could feel the straps off his arms, the man contracted his knees; hoping to have his boots make contact with his backpack to get a little bounce with his tippy toes. With success, the man manipulated his gravity to increase his distance greatly, barely making it over the tremendous wave; allowing his backpack to submit to the crushing force. The contents would not suffer the same fate, however. Increasing his gravity fast to fasten the descent, the man dropped down past Silv and the wave and extended his arm towards the raging waters; meanwhile whipping a focused knife at the heartless’s chest. Instantly, Gravios emerged from the center of the wall that was called a wave, tip pointed forward towards Silv and Shiro. Of course the magically enhanced steel of the blade could cut through his backpack, but the busting-through-the-wave was shocking to the intellect. However, Blackout knew that his orbit was strong when it needed to be. The strategist had positioned his fall and his arm so that the blade would dart right past Silv’s body, hoping to cut an inch in her side like he had with Whatever the previous round. Regardless if she had dodged it or not, the blade then zoomed past Shiro only to be caught at the handle. Flipping the blade, Blackout stared at Silv dead on, not letting her escape his sight again; but still he kept his other senses focused on their surroundings amongst the gigantic stormy sea. The entrance of the roaring of thunder and the flashing of lightning made it seem like the arena was more hectic than it really was. It was between the soldier and the heartless; nothing more, everything else was just an obstacle in the way of his goal which was to tear Silv down. That axe of hers, the power emanating from it seemed to be growing and more apparent as the battle progressed… That could be a problem of his. ---

Actions used
3 (Note, his stance was not changed; therefore no sword moves were used as Orbit Rush simply affects all weapons, not needing a certain stance.)
Action 1: Moon Jumped over the wave, ditching his backpack as a casualty.
Action 2: Orbit Rushed his sword through the backpack and through the waves, assuring he had something to fight with when he'd want to change stances. Just like my last battle with Whatever, Blackout strategically positioned himself so that he'd be able to slice Silv a bit midst process; AKA an attack as well as an retrieval.
Action 3: Knife Throw, because hell; he was going to use it eventually; why not get her when she’d probably be confident that he got him. Anything above 40 is considered a hit unless dodged/blocked/counter/etc.
So its a success.
Abilities used
3
Moon Jump Lvl1-: An ability of Blackout’s that allows Shiro to focus on his jump, giving him the capability of performing one long jump, though at a slow speed just like one would feel jumping on the moon. [Duration: 1 jump; Cooldown: 2 posts]
Orbit Rush Lvl1-: An ability of Shiro’s that speeds up the process of his passive, Orbit, by letting him focus on the weaponry wanted (only one item he can focus on; using Orbit Rush to pick up his dual pistols would count as two actions). His weaponry returns to him at a faster pace.[Duration: 1 post; Cool down: 1 post]
Knife Throw Lvl1-: The ability requires the Way of the Soldier stance. Blackout throws his knife at a rapid speed with a 60% chance of hitting. [Cooldown: 1 post]

S I L V ❦ As she was landing, Silv activated Aura of Persistance. Having noted from the man's previous fight as well as how things had been going, the man didn't seem much for a magician and this allowed her defense against physical attacks seeing how the man was able to get over the wave after ditching her gear. Why was he even carrying the thing here? Possibly for a situation like this, but that'd mean the man had some kind of precognition (is that the right word?) The opponent managed to get over her after she had landed, thus causing Silv to take a more sideways stance as she charged her axe further for Dark Beleaguer. Uncertain how long she still had on this, she hoped to use the charged axe sooner than later. The man then tossed his knife towards her, thus she brought up her axe that had the Darkness charging into it, using it for defense didn't cause it to lose charges anyhow. While blocking the knife, she felt a sharp pain when the sword passed through, "oh, fuck you," seeing the blade cut through her back, past her and back to the opponent. ------- action i. actviated aura of persistence action ii. continued charging dark beleaguer action iii. blocked knife

”Interesting choice of diction,” the voice under the helmet spoke with his dark tone. The intellect’s eyes, beneath the helm, narrowed at the sight of her continuing to gather darkness to contribute to her axe’s power. The woman was not the most aggressive opponent he has fought, but something told him that she was waiting on something with that axe of hers. Whether or not Silv was preparing some heavy assault, Blackout was prepared for whatever she had; or at least he thought. Not that he was cocky or anything, but he was confident with his abilities compared to her own. That didn’t mean he wasn’t completely focused, however.
With Gravios in hand, the man darted off towards his opponent, rushing her with a cut at the legs. Following such would be a diagonal upper cut across her chest, starting from where his first strike would end in a quick succession. If they hit, the soldier would notice that the impact didn’t seem to have its typical feeling or sound as it usually had. Then he’d notice the dark aura, where he’d understand what he was dealing with. Protection? Really? Leaping back after the strike, the man waited for her go.

S I L V ❦ Seeing the man rush forward, she didn't really bother any longer with seeing how to block the strike when he went for her legs. Instead she brought up her axe, grabbed ahold of it with both hands when he cut at her legs before slashing down at him. Since it was a flying attack, it would possibly either cut right through the man or sent him flying off and away. She used Dark Beleaguer at a third tier strength, having charged it for three rounds thus far. Since she brought down her attack at the same time as the man attacked her legs, it could interrupt the next set of the man's attack, but if it did succeed, she simply took the attack as well, bleeding badly from it. Gritting her teeth, she followed her own attack whether the man was still up close or not, by letting the axe slip through the hands as she started to spin it in her hands. Then she tossed the axe sideways forward as she used Black Disc, the throw being weaker depending how damaged she became, having taken either one or two from Blackout's attacks just now. Silv released her breath and tried to take some breaths to try and keep her position, the attackers were weakened thanks to her defensive spell, but still feeling the pain for a moment before stubbornly ignoring it as she preferred to do and continue her assault. However, she then started Mirage as her appearance became more shimmering and blurred, gaining a haste effect to be able to avoid more damage. ------- action i. used dark beleaguer at blackout action ii. used black disc at blackout action iii. used mirage

As the man swung his sword at the woman’s knees, the intellect noticed that she was done preparing her axe. Oh, would it have hurt, but the soldier’s instincts sent the message to his heartless companion to cover the man. The yellow metallic material spread over his clothing, all the way down to the bottom of the boot, within milliseconds. Just as the strike hit, Shiro’s eyes widened at the force under the mask. Taking the third tier ability at close range, it felt as if explosions were occurring all over the body, except with a thin efficient layer of protection; as if he had survived a bomb. Instantly, the metallic armor shattered; the pieces of metal disintegrating into a dark smoke. The man whispered to his heartless on the inside, but only the devil’s grunts of pain were heard. Thanks to his heartless companion, he had survived at close range and was capable of finishing his strikes.
Tasting the distinct taste of iron in his mouth, the man leaped backwards at spat out some red liquid into the ocean. The blood became one with the water, tainting it before dispersing out into the rest of the sea. The intellect’s eyebrow raised, face now clearly visible, at the sight of Silv twirling her axe before throwing it. Attack being so fast, the only image that the analyst had captured was a black disc being thrown towards him. Soldier’s reflexes kicking in, the man attempted to slyly dodge the vicious throw, but the speed of the axe was too great. Blowing right past the side of the soldier, the man felt the ripping of the flesh of his shoulder, a great deal of blood spewing from the open wound. Grunting at such pain, Shiro knew he had to take her down soon before the man would lose too much blood.
Dismissing the thoughts of pain, Blackout darted off and went for another hit with his sword. Swinging Gravious in a vertical motion, from inner thighs to her chin, the man hoped to cut the heartless as much as possible. After that, the man’s elbow contracted backwards and then extended furiously forward, going for a stab in the chest. It seemed as if the heartless had too many tricks up her sleeves, the aura disappearing and being replaced by a shimmering affect. Hopefully that didn’t mean his swordplay wouldn’t go through.
