And there he stood looking down aloof at the floating island with little to no activity. Sephiroth is currently standing on top of the cave on the small island that they call Destiny Island. This small island had to be no farther than a mile away from the main land. As of late the Angel was doing rather poorly in getting the knowledge he requires. Why was it so hard to just get information about the Goddess that Genesis was so fascinated with?
The madman wanted to know why she existed and if she was his true mother. If that is true that means the research he read long ago was a lie. For the time being Jenova will remain his only mother until he finds out the truth. Or well if he ever does. Sure on his last adventure he finally got to meet Cloud which ended so abruptly. Sephiroths craving for a worthy challenge hadn't been satisfied at all. Between killing the innocence and fighting Cloud with his friends just didn't do it.
Sephiroth needed something more, but he was going to hold back for the sake of his own sanity. There is no way he is going to completely lose all control of himself. Soon his eyes began to gaze at the newly setting sun overlooking the rippling ocean waves. Could this be the world for him to carry out Jenovas plan? This planet sure seemed pleasant enough to do so. Or perhaps he should continue his search?

THIS IS WAR
Sometimes even a Goddess needed a break. With the world at a place of shaky peace the ex-soldier, the ex-Valkyrie, the ex-Goddess felt as if the world had come to a standstill. Is this perhaps what retired soldiers described in their age beyond action? Calm was not something they were built for, peace was a goal they searched for. Though she was never in an active war campaigns in her early station, the constant battle against wild fiends never made a dull moment apparent. No sooner had everything seemed bleak and listless… their world had come crumbling down from the skies. Maybe quiet days were nice too, but having become a soldier of War Lightning had lost her ability to simply sit still and accept the silence that encompassed a gentle world. So sometimes, on the rare occasion, the former Valkyrie would travel between time and space searching. She was like the military police on patrol. But she did not seem very active. She wore no armor, nor did she brandish a weapon. She wore a Light wore a hoodie that was maroon in coloration, which ran down to her hips. It was unzipped so that much of the black tank top beneath was exposed. Black tights were worn beneath shortie cut, denim jean shorts. The heeled boots, where the tights had been tucked into at one point, currently hung over her shoulders, bound together by their leather strings. In her hand she held an ice cream cone of her favorite flavor (a guilty strawberry). Her thin lips kissed into the cool treat, taking soft slurps of the decedent frozen delight. Beside her fluttered a few Moogle who followed her from the mainland, promises of a picnic enough to lure the puffy mascots. The Time Warping minions fluttered after the warrior who, even in such a relaxed state, carried a commanding air about her that bade the weakest of creatures to obey her. They white faeries carried a blanket and a basket of food, hoping they would soon find a spot. The moogle spotted the perfect spot and in a cacophony of kupos, they would flutter off to set up. This would force Lightning to give pause and stare out into the deep blue seas. Even after all was said and done: her faith in Etro and her eyes remained unshaken. She knew there was a reason she still retained her powers, those which had neither been given to her by a Fal'Cie or God. That which she had been blessed with remained to pass down because peace had a habit of attracting war. Her eyes traced along the seas, the milky creme beginning to melt down the edges of her fingers as she stood lost in thought. Maybe it was a selfish, personal wish for war to begin anew? Maybe this was the feeling of being useless that plagued her. Her loved ones were safe, so why could she not rest? What was unsettling? Maybe because this place so much reminded her of her home, where it has all began…

For sometime Sephiroth stood there gazing upon the entire scenery until something amusing had captured the Angel of Deaths attention. He noticed a pink haired girl with what he saw was a moogle companion. She had no weapon, but did have an ice cream cone in hand. The Chosen One wondered how people could just at leisure just walk around doing nothing all day. Did they not have no motive or drive to do something?
But who was Sephiroth to judge? What did he do all the time? That's right all the Angel had accomplished was small research alongside killing thousands at the single swipe of his blades. The former Hero's thoughts were all messed up. He wanted to slaughter everyone, but at the same time he didn't. Yet, there is no end to Sephiroths cruelty towards man kind and other beasts that may roam the worlds.
All he seemed to be thinking about was killing others, Jenovas plans, and last but not least Genesis beloved Goddess. With soon all of his thoughts vanished in a flurry of disarray and he soon flew down twenty feet in front of the Pink Haired woman. Little did he know that he was standing before a Goddess. Now Sephiroth stood before Lightning with a rather smug look. From first glance he is wearing his usual attire plus his three wings. The one on his upper back and his lower two.
Finally, she would notice his legendary sword that no one could miss at first sight. So what would Sephiroth do now that he was out in the open and in front of the Pink Haired girl? Soon he had thought the girl might be able to give him a few answers to some questions he has. Anything is possible after all.

There the Goddess stood, a vision of humanity among nature. She seemed to glow with the gentle aura that surrounded those born of the Goddess’ love and chaos. Lightning watched as the sea continuously retreated from the shore, rushing as if in fear of becoming stranded on the sandy bank. The lively waves whispering as the foamy floats brushed against her bare toes, coating her sandy feet, up to her ankles, in the cooling liquid, washing them clean. Her crystal blue eyes followed a wayward shell that had been caught in the out tide. It floated along the surface like a feather on the wind and did well to bring back old memories to light. They were thousand year old memories that she had thought she forgotten. But she remember it had been the first time she saw beauty on Pulse. She watched with awe as the shell was carried out into adventure, the chilly rivulets of melted ice cream was but a lost thought in the face of greater ponderings and deeper musings. This was what peace was like. She had always thought that her life in Cocoon had been peace, but it was a festering turmoil of dread feeding death and lies to those that lived. It was a time bomb ticking under the pressure; it was to end under the force of its own weight and all come crashing down. Here, at the beach, was a calm that rested in the base of the prayers she had spent so long bringing to life. Perhaps that was why they had all returned to the beaches, despite the dangers.
Adamantoise, Sahagin, Terraquatics…
They were just a few of the native threats to the beaches of her home and left monster and human with eventual confrontations. Here in this world there seemed to be nothing but peace. Even the Moogles were quite friendly and not as bubbly or loud as the ones she was used to, making them rather -- boring, but that was the nature of the beast. She hated the random hug attacks, yet expected them! Yes it was the peace and quiet that put her on edge. She prayed that, never again, would she have to face the terror of being parted from the world and forced to stand above man as their leader into death. Being free and bored was so much better than being trapped, alone, and forced to bring a permanent calm to the world. Suddenly the Moogles’ cries caught her attention. Licking the melting cream from her hand the young Goddess raises her head and looks toward her furry fae companions.
The woman gave off a natural aura of confidence, remnants of her time as a great tamer of monsters and fiends a like. Her power and her pride what were needed in a world like Valhalla in order to survive. Lightning was survivor and she always sought to be the winner, a competitive person that always had to run along time. It wasn’t a matter of superiority that made her this way, but a matter of necessity. She wanted the best for her sister and to do that she had to get the best grades in school. She had to get the best marks in Corps training. Serah was her strength and was who she always fought for. Looking over she would spot the armed man. He wore a strange uniform. A soldier perhaps? The blade was certainly odd and cumbersome looking, but she’s wielded the blades of Behemoths with ease, so who was she to talk? Raising her thumb to brush off her cheek of cream she would stare at the man with her bright eyes. A familiar gaze from the Angel’s past staring at him through crystal eyes.
“Can I help you?” Her voice was soft, almost impatient in its manner.

Sephiroth stood their with great posture and a slightly amused look while watching the woman mess around with the ice cream in her hand as she asked if she could help him. Naturally, the Angel had found this funny because he was curious if this woman could possibly know the answer to his own question. Right now Sephiroth is currently in his researcher state of mind. He wanted answers to the questions he has been longing for quite some time now.
His last endeavor wound up with him causing mass panic to the Deep Space region. He had caused much inferno and bloodshed that his target had disappeared in the chaos. With that all slowly creeping to the back of his mind, Sephiroth took several steps forward to close the gap between the two of them. "Perhaps you could," The Winged Angel had said softly. Today should certainly be an entertaining day.
"I am searching for a Goddess," He took a short pause while his confident look changed slightly to more of a curious look." This Goddess is said to call all her children and loves each one equally. She is the mother of all creations and shows each being an eternal love. Do you know where this Goddess is? Or who she is?" Sephiroth knew that asking a random person was a long shot, but for the sake of his sanity he needed to. Even though he is slowly dwindling further in his own darkness.

THIS IS WAR
Lightning had never seen such an odd looking man. His height was not shocking, for the former Valkyrie it was a man's average. She was a bit short by compare, but her height too was common among women. The length of his hair certainly was impressive, but the dull sheen that came with it seemed off, almost unnatural. What made him so odd looking were his facial features. He was clearly an experienced warrior by the way he held the massive daikatana with ease. But his face did not look a day aged passed twenty. War aged. Even though she could not speak personally with a 500 year record under her belt, she certainly had gained matured features in her time as a l'Cie. His eyes gave off an eerie reflective sort of glow, that reminded her of a cat.
At his question she would pause, mid lick, just inches from her cone, mouth parted as if in shock of the situation. No, it was merely unexpected. It was a query that was not called to by the common man. These were questions asked by those long departed from the world, or have seen much wrong in their lifetime and crave penance. Such a question held deep. Meaningful presence, sometimes with no definitive answer for those hungry for knowledge. But this man was in luck. Who he faced, who he came upon, of all others in this world, was a Goddess, of sorts: herself. But she was nothing when compared to Etro.
Etro was kind and loving to all her creations. To Etro all life was precious and to do harm to any of them was to bring her heart bitter pain. Even the vile and vagrantly violent Fal'Cie were precious life the Goddess could not forsook. For they were but babes which wept for their parents. All life craved the selfish bade of attention. It was how they knew they lived. Etro sought to bring life and lived in the hearts of all beings. Where did she live?
Lightning raised her free hand over her heart, thin fingers clutching to her breast. She let out a soft gasp as her fingers intertwined with the fabric of the hood, wrinkling it a bit. The answer was difficult. Did this man seek to do her harm? It would not matter. She would fight for Etro. The Goddess had given her the chance to live her life and save it from the doom of a Chaos sickened world. Her sharp, blue eyes cut up to glare in the man's direction. This was the look of a warrior in her prime, a stalwart guardian who protected her beliefs and those closest to her. She was a spark that fought to become the Hero that she was, born of the mistake of a foolish leader who only sought to subjugate and ruin his following for a dream born of the ruin of other lives.
"Yes." She stated strongly.
But her Goddess may not be the one he was searching for. Motioning her hand to her chest the former Valkyrie would again speak, words of genuine reverence. Something Light had never thought she would be one to feel for such a being. But Etro was a Goddess, a mother of all life and a creator of love.
"She lives in the world beyond, but sleeps within the hearts of all who she has created." Light would motion her hand, an action the reached out toward Sephiroth in an insignificant manner, but to her it was a deep, meaningful gesture.
It was the same motion she did when drawing Eradia from her Chaos.
"But a true god does not mingle with humans, lest cause their world to befall destruction." She looked to the man, eyes focusing on his glimmering orbs. "Gods cannot sympathize with man, the cannot feel or understand their emotions or reasons the live their lives... Do you understand what it means to be human?" Her question came, quid quo pro.

Patiently Sephiroth had listened to the Goddess before him speak. What could this woman mean when she says that the Godess lives in the world beyond, but sleeps in the hearts of whom she has created? This is something that Sephiroth has never heard of before. Now the last part of what Lightning said could not help but to get Sephiroth a little angry on the inside. Who is she to suggest that he is a mere human? Shouldn't it be quite obvious that he is no pathetic human?
Humanity is something he desires to destroy almost more than ShinRA. The Chosen One will one day kill all of them in such a horrific manner that tales will be spread about the massacre. "Understand what it is to be human?" He paused. With a slight laugh he looked Lightning dead in the eyes with his glowing green eyes. "I'm no mere human. I have no need to know about the humans and what they are," he paused once again.
"I simply lust to speak to the Goddess because I need my questions answered." Sephiroth was slowly getting tired of this journey that he is on. Every time he travels to a new place no one can just answer him or give him the answers he wants right away. Sure slaughtering everything on his way here was pleasant, but he'd much rather get this part of his journey over with.

Lightning stared at the man as he responded to her words. The pink-haired woman continued to leisurely consume her ice cream cone. Her calm was born of someone who had lived through several hundred lifetimes. Her worldly and otherworldly experiences granted her the patience to deal with all walks of life… sometimes. She was still herself, a human with a heart, so there were times where her aggravation peeked, but there were others where she could simply laugh. The moogles continued the flutter in the distance watching the pair. Worries expressions drew themselves over the rosy cheeks of the time-bending faeries. They were worried. The man had a funny way about him. Scary, almost like a monster. What impressed the moogles most was how Lightning stood before him, not even batting an eye at his harsh words.
And why would she? Her mouth kept busy with her icy treat, greatly diminishing her urge to smirk and outright laugh at the man. So much like Caius. Though this man's heart was without chaos, something else held a prevalent grip over his heart. Regret, or perhaps an inner demon all his own? After taking her time in finishing her ice cream she would munch down on the hard cone, crunching away without a care in the world. Licking her fingers clean the bright-eyed woman would look to the man when he finally finished. It was a bit harsh to be amused how fully offended he appeared to be by her words, but little did the it matter.
"A god cannot feel the emotions the tick away within the human heart, but only the human heart I'd capable of asking questions. A god is far too arrogant to seek another. If you are neither, what are you?" She would respond, the edge of her lip quirking in a soft smirk, challenging the man.
Her hands slid down to her hips. Her head raised in a prideful manner. Though she had been born human, she had risen so much higher above in her mortality. Never did she wish to vanquish her heart for such a role. Becoming as a god was a damnable act. You lose the ability to see your creation's hearts and become blind to the damage your actions may cause. A goddess loved and a goddess wept for those who did not live. Perhaps that was the reason he sought a goddess and not the words of a god?
"Do you suffer and need to be wept for? Have you forgotten the love a goddess always has for her child?" Perhaps she could provide him answer. "Even in all her love and pity… you still must submit to a goddess." A mother always wanted her children to obey

The legendary swordsman kept something of a calm composure while watching every little thing about Lightning as she spoke to him. Sephiroth was growing bored with this conversation already. All the One Winged Angel needed, is to find this Goddess and finally know if Jenova isn't his real mother like he had believed through his various amounts of research. After, hearing so much about this Goddess being everyone's true mother from Genesis and Kadaj his mind has be all over the place. The Angel doesn't know what to think or do.
Right now all he could rely on is himself and his abilities to annihilate everything and everyone at the single swipe of his blade. After, his last defeat with his remnants he mentioned to Cloud how he was no contest for him anymore. This is because Sephiroth had finally achieved a power so great no mere mortal could ever reach. The Chosen One has so much power at his will he can destroy as many planets he wants. However, the goal is not to blow a world up to tiny pieces it is to wipe it clean of its impurities and create a new life as the ultimate god.
After what the pink haired woman had said, Sephiroth had evil intentions. The Angel had no intentions to submitting to anyone. In fact everyone and everything should be the ones to submit to him. "What am I? I am the Chosen One meant to take a world and cleanse it of its impurities and create a new. I will take a planet to the promised land just as mother had asked. I will do this with my great skill and power.I will never submit to no one. I simply seek the Goddess to see if mother is what I believed her to be," He paused.
".... Do you understand?"

Lightning would almost smirk, in spite of herself. Raising a hand she would hold her knuckles over her lips and bite down the urge to snark. She always found these sort of individuals funny, or maybe just sickenly amusing? People who thought themselves better than everyone else, yet here they stood on mortal ground, scraping about for answers just like everyone else. Searching for the truth proved to Lightning, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that he was no god, outside of his own mind. Answers never came easy and people that believed they had a right to everything and anything above the desires of other were no better than the fallible gods that did thee things themselves. Looking at yourself as above others never ended well. It never gave you the truth either. Reaching her hand from her mouth the strawberry-blonde Valkyrie tossed back the length of her hair that hung from her shoulders. She held herself with a pride that was certainly something to be compared to a god and the way they looked down on others, but her calm and patience showed a gentle nature, nothing unlike a mother’s patience for her child. But there were times when a mother lost patience for her child…
Lightning held a bit of pity for the man. He dares claims himself greater than all, and one who is capable of destroying an entire world? Not even god was capable of such a feat. Did he really think making a new world was that simple? Did he have any idea of the fine processes that created a world and allowed it to live? Maybe it was just part of her life to side with the humans. No matter how much she changed and no matter how far she drifted from her humanity, they needed guidance. They needed someone to protect them from themselves and the lies of those they choose to be leaders. Everything she did was for the sake of other and no matter how far she strayed from her chosen path, she always did so selflessly. Sephiroth’s claims annoyed her, but she did not let it show on her face. He was no better than Barthandelus or Bhunivelze. Perhaps that was why, even in his despair and fall, she continued to respect Raines and what he fought for. He did not blindly fight for his leaders, but for his beliefs. Light gave a shrug and stepped back to put her weight on her left leg.
“If you can’t even recognize your own weakness, than how do you expect to grow?” She held out her right hand, her hood’s sleeve falling over her slender fingers. “Blindly following what someone tells you to do? Use your eyes! What man or god have succeeded in swallowing the world?!” Her voice gradually rose.
She remembered climbing to the top of the seat of power their so called gods held. All it took was the will of a single person to spark rebellion and the heart of their allies to start the war. Change was bound to happen and the moment you considered yourself a god, an infallible lord…. is when you fall. She laughed out as he questioned her understanding.
“Do you understand?! No one wants to be a puppet to another. They’ll fight. No goddess wants to see her creations slain, so your actions only do to sadden her. If you cannot submit…submit to your own mortality, than what right do you have to bring change to the world, change to the living? This world…belongs to them.” What right did a god or immortal have over their domain. "You don't belong in this world if you fancy yourself a god." She chuckled, clenching her hand into a fist, fighting back the urge to summon her blade.

Who did this pink haired woman think she is? What right did she have to say things to him? Wasn't it obvious that he is a higher power, a force to be reckoned with? "Weakness? I have no weakness." Sephiroth honestly believes that he is one of the most superior beings to be alive currently. The Chosen One is so confident in his own immortality and power that nothing can frighten him. His journey started out with him being the best hero to ever had lived, and then his decent into madness corrupted his mind.
Sephiroth gave a slight smirk to what Lightning had said and seeing her reaction. Could it be possible this girl was a warrior just as strong as Cloud? Of course there is so many possibilities as to why this girl was so wise to a certain extent. "I'm no puppet, I simply want to take the people to my Promised land as the Chosen One. If that is not meant to happen the Goddess will show herself," He said while maintaining an unwavering resolve.
Sephiroth is beginning to slowly to decend into his own madness slowly, but surely. So far, on his entire journey no one has been able to give him the answers he has been looking for. Why did everyone not want him to get information about the Goddess that Genesis and Kadaj have spoken about. His Remnant mentioned that the Goddess is in fact their true mother and Jenova was some kind of fake. And now this girl goes on about the goddess loving her people.
It was just going to be one of those days for the ex. Hero.

Lightning felt as if she was talking to a little kid. Yes, that is what Light felt like. This man was naught but a spoiled child who felt playing the game without any clear rules would suffice for he to claim himself a leader, a chosen one. But who was Light to say he was not a Chosen Leader? She had been chosen herself, but it was not something to boast about. She felt as if it bastardized the situation. A leader was humble. Humility was key to knowing when retreating was a viable option. Retreating was always am option. But little did he know was that this game had rules and those rules, ultimately, could not be changed. Not by him, not by a god nor by a goddess. These were the infallible laws of the worlds, binding them and helping to keep them stable.
Maybe she should teach him that you could not simply break the rules. She felt a frustration with him she rarely felt. She was a bit more sensible given her experiences, but she was still Lightning through and through. She could not, would not back down from a challenge presented to her. He was asking for it too! She had to take in a healing breath. She could not act rashly or risk things that were not her place to risk… She shifted her weight so that much of it rest on her left leg. Her right hand moved toward her right hip as it thrust out in the shift. Her boots pressed into the arting sands. As the pair spoke the time tickled away. The sea fell back as the sun drew into position to set. The warrior was a river of tranquility again. All she needed to do was calm down and think.
Raising her head the warrior looked straight to Sephiroth. "Do you know what it is you claim? You act more like a kid than a leader." And she would know.
Her brother-in-law was the biggest kid, leading a band of even bigger kids. Maybe she was simply too old in her way of thinking, but it was not until he gained more qualities to himself that he was able to become a true leader. He had to earn humility, shame, and know that even a hero could not save everyone. She threw out her hand, her body taking on a faint glow before light erupted from the woman. When the light cleared there stood a warrior, trapped in armor and a singing blade cutting across the air.
She stood with her chest out and her head high. A half skirt of feathers marked her as a Valkyrie. The armor of the Goddess, Minerva's Plate it was known as in some worlds. It was a mystical armor bestowed upon women, those meant to carry on the will of the Goddess. Her blade was tightly gripped in her hand, The tip pointed toward the sands. The Moogles chirped in worry as they watched the two. Lightning's blue eyes shot toward Sephiroth in a challenging manner.
"For what you ask is to see the realm of the gods." A world where no man should tread.

Sephiroth only had given the Goddess a devious grin after she had said he was acting more like a child than a leader. Honestly, the Angel could careless of what anyone thought of his plans or means of action. He just wanted his answers at the end of the day. Everything is going to come his way eventually. What happened next had slightly amused the Chosen one a little bit.
The girls outfit had changed into a Valkyrie armor which looked god like. On top of that her weapon had been summoned alongside the armor, but pointed towards the sands. Shortly after this little 'transformation', she had mentioned that he was talking about the realm of the gods. Oh how this pleased the One Winged Angel dearly.
"Once more, I am no mere human," He said softly. Sephiroth considered himself to be a god or demi-god since he has so many means to revive himself. Not only that, but since his last encounter with Cloud through his Remnants he has achieved a new found level of power. You could say that Sephiroth is indeed very cocky. "Show me this realm"

THIS IS WAR
Lighting was meant to be a savior once. She was woken from her ancient slumber and built toward a goal that defied life. Her one duty was to reap the souls of the forgotten and doomed. She was told to save them. But how did one save a soul? A soul was the inmaterial possession of man that held all of the emotion, the intellect and the very embodiment of who they were as people. Their individuality was formed within these pockets of energy that she had been sent out to collect. When a person sealed away a deep, dark feeling: be it a lost love or resentment, they would also seal a part of themselves. It was the job of the reaper to free that part of the soul locked away to produce a special energy. These pockets of energy, this Eradia that was freed from them, was the strongest part of a person that could survive their trip beyond. But she had long since realized this was not their true soul, merely reflections. But she had never lost that power to recognize it, a person in pain and suffering. Sometimes knowledge saved a person. The knowledge that time was still flowing. The knowledge that you took revenge for your friends killed by a murderous dragon. The knowledge that you were still alive…. somewhere, in there.
Did this man also suffer the same? The same loss that all mortals suffered. As much as he claimed himself to be a god, did he really know what it meant to be a god? A human could never become a god because their heart was too full of suffering and pain. Hatred and love. Anger and Serenity. They understand the feelings in their hearts because they were human, once upon a time. One would think that living for five hundred years would change who you were as a person, but a person was difficult to change. Once you've had your habits and beliefs in place it was very hard to change them, often times the only way they could truly change was if it was forced upon you. And even if it were that person, the real you; your true feelings still existed, buries in your soul.
Drawing her sword, holding the blade's tip to point at the warrior, the retired Goddess would smirk. "You think yourself so high, but if you were chosen..." Both hands came upon her blade as she took a combative position; blue eyes focuses on the former General. "You needn't ask where she slumbers."
Light shifted her weight, metal boots sinking I to the white, pristine sands of the seemingly uninhabited island. The Gun blade sang as it cut through the air, her body twisting so the tip of the enchanted weapon drew a line in the sand. Her shoulders dropped as elbows would lock. It was as if she were facing some invisible enemy with the way her body responded, reflexed, and reacted.
"Kyah!" The glimmering blade cut through the air, a ribbon of sand following behind it as Light stepped back with her left foot and caught herself.
Her back was now to the silver-haired warrior. The tail of pink hair fluttered in the winds. It was silent once more. The Moogle had floated off the ground and made their way toward the pair. The faerie trio looked between each other, worried chirps of 'kupo' passing their lips. Light took a relaxed stance: her arms falling to her side and her blade once again poised to the ground. She peered back over her shoulder. She hoped the man was ready for his answers, because sometimes the truth was far more cold and painful than hoped. Could his mind handle such a thing?
Without warning a burst of energy erupted out from where stood the Valkyrie. The power of her cut caused the space around the blade's center to implode. A tear slowly peeled apart the fabric of space and time, swirling energy mercilessly swirling in a torrent of uncontrollable power. Light raised her hand, fingers outstretched. Her leather covered hand would clench closed, as if grabbing hold to something that, again, could not be seen with the naked eye. Her hand pulled back, a powerful gaye appearing to stabilize the new passageway. When Light was satisfied she had bound the gate she would turn to face Sephiroth.
The moogle looked to each other and cheered. Laughing, the moogle flew into the gate behind Lightning.
"If you want the answers you seek, which I warn you: will not be the ones you want... Follow me." She turned from the man before stepping into the portal that the World Beyond, also known as the Historia Crux. The Valkyrie would lead him to where the goddess once slept: Valhalla.

Sephiroth had said nothing in response to what Lightning had said about him thinking he was so high and such. All the Angel did was give her a little smirk and maintaining his same level of confidence. The Angel could care less about what she was currently talking about and her little show with her weapon all he wanted is answers. Then, to his surprise something finally happened. The Goddess had opened a portal and told him to follow, but he might not be getting the answers he wants when he arrives to said place.
Sephiroth had to admit he is rather anxious to know what lied beyond the portal. Where is this pink haired beauty taking him exactly? Last ,but not least what did she mean by his questions would be answered, but not the ones he wants? This is everything he has been waiting for. Something good was finally bound to come out of this for the Angel.
The Chosen One could care less about if this could be a trap just as long as he gets what he wants. Sephiroth knew how to keep coming back like an undying plague he would return because of the darkness. "The time has come," he said softly while entering the portal taking him to Valhalla with Lightning.
