She was so close, nearly upon him. Aerynn flapped her great wings, gaining speed and closing the distance between herself and the enemy. If Aile could hold him, just for a little while, it would be enough for the aegyl to shove her naginata blade deep into his back, cutting through flesh and, fates willing, puncture the lung or his heart.
It all fell apart, however, when a wave of sheer, unbidden exhaustion came over her. There was no process for thought; her eyes were already closing, and her winged strides, so purposeful and strong, became lackadaisical and tired. She faltered in her flight, losing momentum and height. The ground was coming up to meet her, but there was nothing she could do about it.
Maybe this was all just a dream.
She closed her eyes.
Aerynn never hit the ground, her mind casting the thought aside like a forgotten memory. A pair of strong arms wrapped around her, holding her tight, catching her out of the sky as though she were a fallen angel. Tired, bleary eyes fluttered open, seeking the face of the one who had saved her from her descent into hell. It was a lad, and a striking one, at that. Aerynn could not help but admire those cute, boyish features, his blond, shining hair pulled back into a ponytail, and those deep, sapphire eyes.
One could get lost in eyes like that.
Aerynn pressed her weight against his body, her hands gripping his shirt, squeezing as she pulled herself deeper into him. It was only an odd thought that wondered why he felt so wet. She remembered the vast expanse of ocean, the fall she had taken from the very tips of the cloud banks. Perhaps he had come out of the water to save her as she fell from heaven.
Yes, she liked that.
She laid her head against the crook of his neck, and fell asleep.

Only moments after his attack that's when the fun really had begun. The Ninja girl and the boy were soon after put to sleep by the younger blond girl. His eyes then watched Zidane make his attacks and other actions. This all led to the monkey telling Caius to back down because the angrier their opponent becomes the stronger he will get.
Caius wasn't the type to back down and he wasn't now. Not to mention he found that highly offensive. The Guardian of Chaos wasn't going to take the monkies advice, but actually the opposite. It was time to unleash the Chaos into this world. Ballad was going to end everyone's suffering himself if he had to. However, he noticed the white haired boy getting back up to his feet and launching several attacks at the distracted Kuja.
This was his chance to show what he can do. "Oblivion is the fate of all things, boy. I have seen thousands of deaths throughout the centuries. I will be the one to stop it. Even if I die again and again. I will never give up," He paused. Slowly, his eyes shifting over to Kuja. With his free hand slowly raising to the sky Caius began to speak, "Bahamut its time we join together to end this madness and let everyone rejoice in peace!"
With saying that Ballad had begun to float in the air. His body began to gain a blue glow until he was covered with a bright light which fused Caius with Jet Bahamut in order to create the mighty Chaos Bahamut. The moment Chaos Bahamut was revealed, he let out ferocious roar which echoed for miles throughout the town.
In only seconds Chaos Bahamut flew high up into the sky and activated TerraFlare. A dark blue energy had begun to charge so much power static could be heard around the forming energy. Once ready, Bahamut unleashed the attack in a powerful pillar sending it straight down to the city. The attack is primarily aimed for Kuja, but anyone in the area would get severely hurt if in the way of this mighty attack.
------------- Actions : Entered Chaos Bahamut Mode [ Form lasts 3 posts ] Preformed Tera Flare [ CD 6] - Is meant for Kuja, anyone else in the way or near Kuja will be hit.

((Aile gave me permission to Princess Toss him.))
Having momentarily retreated (because despite being as young as she was, she was no fool), Mikoto skirted back and glanced up. She felt the magical energy being built up, and she knew that she was going to receive negative consequences for her actions and tensed up, knowing she did not have the time to escape the attack. Her options were slim, knowing that she was going to have this head-on. However, a blur of blue passed her, knocking her eldest brother down. Eyes widening, she knew the blue blur has been Zidane. And it seemed that he had pulled the Black Chocobo Girl out of harm's way, despite her efforts to prevent other people from hurting their oldest brother. Swinging her tail in annoyance, she made her way toward the Snow White Boy who was as helpless as a newborn Hume. Not even a cat. How annoying. If Zidane was saving people she was sure she should at the very least get the nuisance out of the way.
Sprinting her way toward Snow White before anything could become beautifully chaotic, she jumped up behind Snow White and lifted him in her arms, swung on the heel of her foot using her tail to build up momentum, and swung him like a catapult right in the direction of safety. You know, away from the action. Sure, it probably was not the best way to save someone...but considering she lacked any connections to him or really anything internal that screamed "save someone!" it was the best she could do. And she was not going to carry someone in her arms. She was not Zidane. She did not have his humanity.
Speaking of the Dragon-Like creature, it was immensely beautiful. From her spot, the creature was majestic and hideous and beautiful at the same time. She had not seen something like it in the short two years of her life--and ah, how it radiated such magic!
But that did not give it an excuse to hurt Kuja. That was Zidane's job.
She tensed up, her tail frizzing up; she felt something building up in her chest. She was not quite sure what this feeling was; was she perhaps getting sick? This was neither the time nor the place, however, magic was released from the tiny red mage. After Bahamut had been summoned, the clouds above started to become dark.
"Zidane! Get out of the way!" she shouted toward the blonde brother, above the chaos. She knew what was coming next. Raising Endless Waltz into the sky, she swung it as if she were pulling something with a fishing line. The sky had become dark, and when the clouds dissipated, a very large Meteor was revealed. She breathed a sign of relief, having so much magic leave her body at the same time. It had been threatening to find its way out somehow. From her position, she brought the spell down on and toward Kuja. If this was not going to help snap him out of it, she didn't know what else would.
However, still feeling magic flick still within her, she activated her Chainspell. Combined with Meteor, it was rather obvious the young girl was a powerhouse despite what she was looking like. Even if she played...a little bit dirty. And with this, she unleashed hell on Zanarkand--Chainspell allowed her to bring Darkga, Blizzaga and Firaga to the surface--all toward her brother. The area ignited with fire and ice, and oddly enough, darkness.
Wake up, Kuja--or please, Zidane, wake him up. --------------
Le moves!
1. Mikoto tossed Aile to get him the hell out of the way! 2. Pissed because someone else was picking on Kuja, she Meteored Kuja! Meteor--Once per thread. --Deals a vast amount of Holy damage to all enemies on the field. Initially was taught this move to bring massive amounts of destruction to Gaia if needed. 3. And just to be a little shit, she used Chainspell, which allows her to combine three of her powers. ---Chainspell--1 Duration, 4 Cooldown --Allows Mikoto to rapidly combine 3 elemental spells within her ability, combined with others (not including Meteor) for Area of Effect. --Spells used: Darkga, Blizzaga and Firaga!

゚。・*. ゚☆I WANT TO SHINE☆゚.*・。゚ Zidane sneered as the dark-haired man ignored his warnings. It was his funeral. He really hated those macho types that thought fighting was the answer to everything. It never worked out in the end. The man did something, it looked to the thief like he summoned an Eidolon, but he vanished?! The thief was not sure what was going on, but that was Bahamut above them, or something that looked like Bahamut. Was it some corrupted Eidolon? He did not get a good feeling from it, but overhead the beast began to charge its Flare attack. Things were getting sticky, and fast. He held the girl in his arms tight, making sure her head was cradled in his arms. The boy could not ignore a girl in trouble, and there was no one more in trouble right now than the winged girl.
The rogue held the girl in his arms, suddenly feeling her pull against his body. He was more worried about the field of combat than the young woman in his arms. He had a momentary, passing thought, on the matter, but his enthusiasm was quickly deflated by the fact that she was very -- small. At least in the manner that concerned him most. His peculiarities aside the rogue pushed to his feet and looked back. Kuja was knocked to the ground, luckily sparing Mikoto from any of his attention, but he was worried. Kuja was definitely berserking. It was not like it was before. Before he was mad, angry -- hurt, but now he was simply in a blind rage. His blades cut deep, but touched nothing. This wa--
The boy shivered, his tail fluffing up when he felt drool run down his neck. Back arching, he moved to wipe his skin with his gloved hand. “Gross…” He complained.
His head snapped up at the sound of his name, the familiar voice causing him to move faster than his mind could react. The thief observed his environment only to realize how screwed he really was. With Kuja grounded for the time being the idiotic warrior failed to heed his advice and attacked. The white-haired kid was soon made into a frisbee with Mikoto’s actions, the kid being tossed into the air, but why would Mikoto go out of her way to save a guy she didn’t know? She always seemed so aloof-- oh. Oh! He looked up to the darkening sky. He knew that spell. He had only seen it on occasion and from the hands of his own party. Even then it was not really a spell he enjoyed seeing. Dragging a cosmic body from the sky seemed like an overpowered ability for little kids to have! Not only that but Bahamut’s Flare spell fired. It was going to rain hell, literally! He was not in the mood to deal with this!
He laid the winged girl on the ground, staying over her body as the chaos, almost literally, rained down on Kuja. He was still sure that was not enough. He protected the girl with his body, incase anything decided to fly towards them. Kuja was as tough as nails, and even more stubborn than a Chocobo! He would wait until the fury of blasts, and Mikoto’s apparent spell rage, subsided. Drawing his daggers once more the thief had to act. It seemed he was the only non destructive of the trio, but it was the simple fact that his destruction was more focused and trained. He was still an Angel of Death, but he choose whose death he was going to bring and no one else! Destroying for the sake of it was too much. He’ll be sure to scold Mikoto after this. After they saved Kuja from these other reckless weirdos and himself.
“Kuja!” The rogue charged, the Mage mashers pointed toward his older sibling. “You’re an idiot! After everything you’ve been through!” No way! There was just no way he would let them suffer anymore because some old, crazy loon wanted to rebuild a society that was doomed from the get go!
The rogue charged Kuja, releasing his Booster 8: the Mage Mashers would seek to land on the mage with a three-hit combo, the final attack would force the defending Geonome into the air. Zidane was angry, sad more than anything. He felt completely responsible and would kick Kuja’s ass himself. The other’s attacks were meaningless because there was no feeling behind them, no anger, no sorrow, no worry… Each strike the boy put out it was with growing distress and worry. He had to help him, who else would? After Booster 8 the thief would throw out his daggers at Kuja, starting Tempest. Two more strikes would make tempt to contact with Kuja, the last driven with such force it would knock him back. The thief would then land on the ground and hold out his hand, as if throwing something. A treasure chest would land before Kuja, the box opening, triggering a deadly implosion of collected energy from his prior actions of theft. Though not at its maximum force, Thievery was a bright explosion of physical power that let out moderate damage.
“This isn’t who you are! Wake up! Kuja please!” Zidane’s heart ached at the sight.
Was everything he had done, up until this point, for naught? Had he made a mistake?
TAG: Aile~! NOTES: I feel uneasy about all of this SKILLS USED:
Booster 8 - 3 Cooldown After charging forward the thief attacks multiple times (3) before launching the enemy into the air to draw the attack into other combos. This is a single attack, that can be used to open into a combo attack or a stand alone strike. This attack can be used with either blade archetype (Mage Mashers or The Ogre) and can only be started from the ground.
Tempest - 3 Cooldown This attack can only be used midair. Daggers are thrown out to strike an opponent before he dives down to attack opponent multiple times (3) with retrieved blades before they are knocked back.
Thievery - 3 Cooldown Inflicts light damage, as well as additional damage which is dependent on the number of times Steal or Mug has successfully worked on the enemy during the battle thread. 2-4 thefts equals moderate damage, 5-7 thefts equals heavy damage, 8-10 thefts becomes critical damage. The damage multiplier caps at 10.
Mage Mashers: Mage Mashers live up to their namesake and have the chance to inflict the Silence status on casters, disabling their ability to cast magic for a one post duration. This is a passive ability and has a 10% chance of inflicting silence when the blades strike an enemy. (Booster 8 and Tempest both strike 3x each, for up to six attacks with the blades)

Pain and confusion. These were the two most prominent feelings that ran through the white haired genome that was now upon the ground and swaying in his spot with his head bowed into his hands that held onto his hair tightly. Kuja’s body didn’t know what to do as the darkness within fought against the original owner of the body. As the pair wrestled with each other for control, the genome’s confused body became the victim to some pretty brutal attacks from the people that were still up and functioning on the field. From the man that had the weapon with the strange eye, the genome could vaguely sense a change in power, but as unfocused as he was he did not see the strange transformation the man performed to become a creature that would’ve made the genome become quite concern for his safety had he been able to comprehend what was happening. As the mighty beast let out its roar and took to the air, the possessed genome’s did not react to the sound as he moved a few steps backwards as his tail lashed the air wildly for balance. When the beast unleashed its attack upon him a few second later, the genome did not try to dodge or defend against the awesome power that came down upon him and tore into his body with force and heat before it spread out to consume anything else in its path. The blow smashed the genome to the ground and caused severe burns to appear upon his white skin as feathers sizzled and smoked from the blow. He could feel pain creep into every pore of his body and while the move probably would’ve kept a normal person down, the people that were on the field were about to find out just how tough the first Angel of Death truly was. Although Kuja was laid face first and slightly pressed into the ground, his tail flicked slightly before the genome was shakily moving his arms and hands. Placing them to either side of him, the genome began to push himself from the ground not seeming to care about the rubble or burnt feathers that fell off of him as he moved. He moved at a slow, but constant pace as the auto-regen worked furiously to close up what wounds it could while replacing damaged feathers here and there. Pushing himself to his feet once more, the genome swayed unsteadily in his spot as he remained hunched over for a second as he shook his head trying to clear it. Damaged heavily, but not seeming to want to go down, the damaged genome looked up at the battlefield with an expressionless face and eyes that were devoide of any form of awareness. For the first time in years, Kuja was just as blank as an ordinary genome as he scanned the area, his eyes briefly following the movement of something that was tossed skyward, but otherwise not paying it any mind. Even as the skies became dark and signaled the coming of another attack, the stunned genome did not move. He took the hefty spells that came raining down upon him fully and once more found himself smashed into the ground with more pain than one could image weighing upon him. Still hurt or not, the genome slowly began to pull himself out of the crater that was created when the devastating Meteor hit him and then like the first attack stretched out to hit anything else within range. As the genome pulled himself out of the indention, he found himself falling back as something cold and crushing rammed into his back. The strange sensation was quickly followed by something cold and biting that made his body feel numb and stiff as he tried to escape the assault, but failed as a third sensation, this time hot and painful, slammed into him. To make matters worse for the genome, he unfortunately could no longer see anything. Some sort of black blanket had been pulled over his eyes, leaving the torn genome to rely on sounds and sensations to tell him what was happening and from what he could hear, things were not good. He could hear things burning. He could hear screams and yells. He could somewhat smell destruction’s scent underneath the scent of blood and burnt skin and feathers that he assumed was coming from himself since he hurt so much. He didn’t know what was going on as his mind remained in a fog. He felt afraid and threatened as pain constantly hit his body that still managed to find its feet despite the beating it had taken. He could hear a voice talking to him, but there was something blocking what it was saying out. All he could hear was muffled sounds that only intensified the fear already in him. Not sure where to go, he took a step back unsure of what he had gotten himself into or why he was even where he was to begin with. His mind was a jumbled mess and he was being attacked, but why? As the question crossed his mind, his thoughts suddenly halted as he thought he heard his name being called and words directed at him; however, the words were still muffled, but even so …the far off sound of his name pulled at something familiar within. Something he wanted to go towards, but at the same time was afraid to do so… What is that? Kuja thought as his crumbling mind continued to become more and more confused by the situation as the thing within was slowly being forced to submit under his will. He was gaining himself back, but….but… The thoughts halted again as the sound of something charging at him caught his attention. On instinct, he took a step back to brace himself for the impact as his aching arms automatically went up to protect his face from whatever was about to occur. As soon as he did this, he felt something slamming into his arms painfully as the thing cut into his flesh. The pain and the weight of the attack it felt familiar, but the genome had no time to ponder the why as two more strikes followed the first. The blows cut deeply, but each time he was struck, more and more familiarity with the attack bubbled to the surface of his fog enshrouded mind confusing the genome even more as he felt pain and pressure lift him from the ground and sent him skyward…or at least he thought he was going up if he could rely on the way the wind felt against his body. As he went up, he tried to concentrate enough to stop the movement with his magic; however, as something cold and steely found their way into his sides, the concentration was broken as more pain invaded his mind. On instinct, he reached for thing at his right side, but before his hand could reach it, something was yanking said items out of him before assaulting him with another round of attacks that pushed him downward slowly before flinging him towards the ground causing the genome to slam into the hard surface with an audible crunch and crack as the ground under him gave to the force of the blow and his weight. Pain…unimaginable pain filled the genome as he remained on the ground for only a second as full blown fear hit him. Kuja didn’t know what was going on and quite frankly didn’t care anymore. All he knew was that whatever had happened was about to get him killed…and he would not allow that. He would not die. Not again! Running off of fear and his want to live, the genome bit back pain as he rolled from the small indent in the ground and scrambled backwards and hopefully away from danger.; however the genome wasn’t fast enough as he heard something hit the ground with a thud uncomfortably close to him. Instinctively, Kuja hit the ground and balled into a tight ball as he wrapped his tail around himself and used his arms and hands to protect his face and head. Good thing he did this for shortly after that thud there was a loud explosion that caused a bit more pain to wash over the genome as it smacked into him. Staying in his balled position, Kuja was trembling with pain and distress, but by some miracle he pushed it all away as he opened his eyes again. He still couldn’t see, but for the first time he could hear things clearly and the first thing he heard was a voice familiar to him. “This isn’t who you are! Wake up! Kuja please!” The familiar voice was pleading with him, but it didn’t need to plead anymore. Kuja heard the voice loud and clear as something close to relief filled him only to replace by dread as an unexpected onslaught of events that had passed slapped him in the face. The wars of the past, the Beast at the Iifa Tree, and that strange darkness planted within him…Yes..Yes…he understood now. He understood it all. Uncurling slightly, the injured genome took a chance at lifting his head and calling out in the direction he thought Zidane was in. “Z-Zidane! You should not be here! Run away!” the older genome called to the other over the sounds of the destruction in the background. His voice was weak and shaky so he wasn’t sure how well the message carried to him or whoever else was around, so the genome pulled as much energy into him as he could and repeated the command in a voice that was a bit more steady than the first round. “Run away!”The command was stern and the sort that one gave when there was no time for arguing. He needed everyone to clear out for his grip upon himself was slipping once more as that dark entity began to push its way back to the front. Kuja felt it coming, his head bowing slightly as the internal struggle began to happen again. He wouldn’t win the battle, but for now he had to keep the thing at bay. He had to give Zidane a chance to run and take whoever was with him away from the area…if they lingered…then…they would regret the decision. He would lose himself again and the dark creature would come back ready to extract the ultimate form of vengeance upon them…. Please…don’t try to save me, Zidane…Just run…the genome thought to himself as he did what he could to keep the Beast within from rising. The struggle was hard, but at least for now he was holding it back..... ____________________________________________________________________ Kuja's Actions:Auto- Magic: Ready to use. Flare: 4 posts. Demi: 1 post -Due to being stunned thanks to the eternal battle, all attacks have hit Kuja and because I have such bad luck when rolling dice Kuja is not only hurting, but also blinded now; however, silence did not take hold of him this time around. Kuja has himself back, but upon the next post the Puppet Master will be back in control and when that happens….it will unleash its vengence upon all. Knowing this Kuja is using all his will power to stall the Puppet Master’s plan. Run or fight? ~ Auto Regen: It is working hard to seal up the heavier damage upon the genome, but has only managed to seal up and heal minor cuts, brusises, and burns; however, thanks to the serverity of the wounds inflicted this round, auto-regen is not working very well. It can’t keep up or work fast enough to heal everything that was dished out!

When Aerynn awoke, she was not quite sure what was going on. She was on the ground, a heavy weight pressing on top of her. Groggy and disoriented, Aerynn turned her head, spying the boy from her dream, until she realized it hadn't been a dream at all. She had fallen asleep in mid-air, no doubt by some mage's spell, but who could it have been? It couldn't have been the enemy. Aerynn was the one who had pursued him, and he had made no indication that he knew Aerynn was following him. Someone else had joined the battle, someone who was on his side, but who?
She did not recognize the boy as he covered her with his body, as heat and debris filled the battlefield from some enormous attack she had missed while asleep, but she knew him as an ally. There was no other reason for him to protect her otherwise. Despite his attempts, though, Aerynn's wings were large and bulky, and the heat that filled the battlefield scorched her wings and burned her feathers. She gasped in pain.
And then as soon as it was over he was gone, leaving her behind as he engaged the threat. A long, slender tail swished behind him. Aerynn pushed herself up, ignoring the suspicion that they could be the same species for the time being. Now was not the time to ruminate on such things. Standing, Aerynn surveyed the field, trying to catch up with the current events. Her naginata lay off to the side, discarded. That was the first thing she retrieved. There was a large dragon-type monster hovering over them, no doubt a summon who had unleashed some sort of flare attack. Aerynn drew her lips into a thin line, her eyes searching for the one who had summoned such a monstrous creature in such a closed quarters type of space. Though the attack had been meant for the monkey-mage, there were still innocents around, and she herself had been caught in the flare.
What a stupid move, and it was not over.
She saw the meteor falling, once again aiming for the monkey-mage. Whoever Aerynn's allies were, they did not play around, nor did they seem to use any sort of judgment when it came to the power of their attacks.
"Tch," Aerynn muttered, stretching out her wings and hissing at the pain that seared through them. It seemed that despite the lad's attempt, Aerynn still had been injured, and greatly at that. She was unable to fly, not until she gave her wings rest or they were healed. A shame, she had just removed her bandages the other day.
She heard a moan behind her. Turning her head, Aerynn found Aile on the ground, covered in rubble and generally not doing very well. She had to get him out of here. After a summon attack, and a meteor yet to strike, Aerynn wasn't sure what else was going to happen, but she didn't think it was over just yet. Running to the boy's side, Aerynn hefted him up, throwing him over her shoulder. Her knees buckled under his weight, but she did not collapse. She placed him beside the destroyed edifice of a building, where the remaining wall would do well to protect him from any further attacks. Then she stood and watched the mayhem unfold.
A monkey-boy, a dragon, and a girl, all attacking the mage together. Aerynn's brow furrowed. So who had it been that cast Sleep? Surely the aegyl had not grown so tired as to fall asleep mid-flight on her own. She took a step towards the group, all focused on that one spot where the monkey-mage was now rising from the destruction that had been wrought upon him.
"Run away!"
Aerynn blinked, hearing his words above the sounds of battle, the tone and intonation sending her into a state of confusion. It was not a vicious command, but one of fear and panic, as though he cared about those people around him. Aerynn took a step forward, and hesitated. Should she engage? Was it even necessary? The mage was scared, she could see it now, an expression on his face one that Aerynn had never seen in him before.
Was it possible that there was some bit of humanity in him?
But then, what could she do? Aerynn was a fly, insignificant compared to the others rushing off to battle. She did not have the strength to take the monkey-mage, she did not have the magic of the girl who had cast meteor, she did not have a monstrous summon at her beck and call, and the monkey-boy who had taken the summon's attack full force had stood tall and ran right back into the thick of it, as though he hadn't even felt a thing. Aerynn could not even extend her wings without hissing in pain.
The battle was over; there was nothing more she could do. And so Aerynn stood fast, naginata in hand, a solitary guardian over the one person who was just as weak as she.

Only moments before he had cast his attack, the little girl had rained Meteor down upon the crazy Genome. Ballad was somewhat impressed that a little girl has mastered such a powerful ability like that. The Guardian of Chaos cared not of what anyone said, he was going to help end the creatures rampage. From above he continued to watch everything unfold into one even larger mess than it already is.
By the looks of things the man had seemed to come to his senses, but what was he muttering? There was no way the Farseeker could end his attacks. While he still was in this form he needed to keep the pressure up. Caius was going to end everyone suffering. With just a slight thought, Chaos Bahamuts body crunched close up into a ball. Seconds later he quickly returned to his normal state, but sending eight flames of darkness hailing down on Kuja.
Just one of these flames can cause small damage. However, all of them together can severely hurt anything. With no remorse he stayed high in the air and prepared his next attack. This was going to be his last attack in this form, but for the moment he was going to watch what happens next.

Review #1 {Spoiler} Facts|Style|SportsmanshipSystemFacts: Despite the fact that Kuja had Auto-Regen on his side due to his Trance mode, nearly all of the attacks had hit him which helps render Auto-Regen almost useless due to the extensive injuries especially from Meteor and the Chainspell. His inner battle didn't help his ability to defend himself from the assault either. [Neither will being blinded.]
Zidane and Mikoto did technically try to defend Kuja by disabling Aile and Aerynn with Sleep then Mug and Steal before moving them out of the way so they can deal with him. I couldn't help but chuckle a bit since I don't think I can see Mikoto and Zidane act any other way in regards how to deal with Kuja since he is their brother. Caius is another story since he is fighting on their side but not taking Zidane's advice to heart as he did a good amount of damage to Kuja as well. - [Light]
Style: Surprisingly I felt the Light had the full control of the fight even though Zidane and Mikoto did nearly take out two of their teammates for the sake of their safety as well as Kuja's [mostly their teammates]. Zidane, Mikoto and Caius did deal a good amount of damage to Kuja since Kuja had the inner fight that had kept from fully defending himself and using Ultima thus moving it to their favor. - [Light]
Sportsmanship: I believe that both sides did a good job in this category. Kuja especially in regards to letting attacks hit and Blind take effect. Aile and Aerynn were great in allowing the Sleep spell to effect them. I didn't see any powers misused from either side. However I believe Kuja has this category.- [Dark]
Overall Winner Light Review #2 {Spoiler} Facts|Style|SportsmanshipSystemFacts: Rather simply, Kuja took the most hits. Whether all these hits would actually end up bringing him down if the battle dragged on is a mystery, but where the raid ended he had the most overall damage. Additionally, even with a member down, the light side would surely not let up. If they eventually tapped into their ultimate moves, Kuja might end up in some serious trouble (that is, if his inner turmoil continued to interfere with his battling). So in the end, Kuja's at the tail end of a beat down that he can only slightly recover from.
Besides that, everyone seemed in-character. Zidane and Mikoto's interactions concerning concerning Kuja were especially amusing. - [Light]
Style: Both teams were exceptionally played. I especially enjoyed how the Light team, despite in the end having the same goal, played against each other while trying to stop Kuja's rampage in their own ways. Kuja's inner turmoil was also fascinating, and I wonder if he might have been able to break free if the battle had went on. He did a good job of having an interaction despite being the only being fighting on his team. Overall though, the Light side had the most entertaining interactions within the raid. - [Light]
Sportsmanship: Everyone was a good sport. Everyone took a fair number of hits; Kuja just happened to take the most. Anyone willing to take that many pounds to the chin deserves some recognition (though in all honesty he probably was strong enough to take that many hits and a bucket more int he future) - [Dark]
