A haunting melody floated through the Phantom Forest. If one were to reach the source, they would see a cloaked man sitting on a stool in the middle of a set of train tracks playing an organ that most definitely did not belong there. As the man played, he was joined by a few Crescendos and a Large Body. The Crescendos tooted their horns in a somber way, joining in the song the man was playing. The Large Body seemed to be drumming on his prodigious stomach along with the tone. The man was Tenebra and despite its current serenity, it was merely savoring the calm before the storm it was creating. Even the crisp, dark air of this cursed place smelled sweet to it. The idiot Keyblader that freed it declined its offer to join it. Normally, it would have destroyed her without a second thought but Tenebra has other plans. She would suffer for her idiocy soon enough and when she did, she would beg to join its side. It would still do her no good, but Tenebra loved crushing hope. "Hmph... the train is late, brothers."Tenebra wasn't expecting much of a reaction out of its Heartless cohorts, but it didn't matter. They understood it well enough. Soon, Tenebra could hear a train whistle from far away. It smiled, having expected it. The Phantom Train, the ferry that ushered the dead from the land of the living to the afterlife. What a pitiful existence that must be. A job with no companionship but miserable souls. Hmph... Tenebra was about to give it a far better existence. Whether it liked it or not. Tenebra stood up, adjusting his clothes as the organ and stool disappeared in a puff of darkness. It then dismissed its Heartless cohorts and warmed up for what was coming up next. "Come on, you useless hunk of junk, you're late, come and get me, come on!" Tenebra muttered to itself. The train whistle blared louder and the train finally came into view. It seemed to glare at Tenebra with a certain malevolence. "Whoooo daaares trreeeeed upon my traaaaacks?!" The train spoke with authority but Tenebra stood his ground and laughed. "It's ME, you worthless psychopomp! COME AND GET ME!" The Heartless King continued to laugh uproariously as it repeated "Come on!" over and over again. The Train continued on its way, bearing down on the man in the cloak. The "man" suddenly transformed his hands into lethal-looking claws as the train was seconds away from running over. "COME OOOON!" It yelled as the train was about to hit him. There was a sickening crunch of steal and shattering of glass as the train found itself slowing down. Tenebra was quite alive... and had caught the train, in a more literal sense of the phrase. His claws were gripping the train as the momentum and inertia forced the Heartless back, upending the tracks that had been carefully laid. Tenebra smiled and leaked his Darkness... his corrupting darkness out of his claws, which injected itself into the train. Darkness traveled like spider webs or perhaps veins, through the train, injecting each car with darkness and letting Tenebra gain more and more control over it, evident when the train's brakes suddenly hit, slowing it down even further. The ghosts currently riding in it were stabbed through with veins of Darkness, corrupting them as well. The veiny shoots of Darkness spread into the Train's "eyes" (really its windows) and turned the lights within pure yellow. The train whistle blared, not the normal whistling sound from earlier, but a hellish nightmare of a sound, like the Train was now in incredible pain. Finally, the train had been brought to a stop, the darkness finally corrupting the last car. "Right, I'm changing the itinerary!" Tenebra yelled happily. "Next stop, OBLIVION!" Tenebra then, with great effort, even for it, lifted the train off the tracks and then threw it aside. There was no mistake that centuries in the Realm of Darkness had not waned its power in the slightest. As the train flew, tracks made of darkness appeared before it, laying down a path for the train. It then crashed onto those tracks like they were made for it and sped off. The smokestack was now bleching darkness out, creating Heartless to invade the world and to guard the train. Tenebra cracked its neck and watched its handiwork speed off. "Hehehehehe... yesss... be a good boy and gather all the Hearts for Daddy, ok?" He then turned and laughed, teleporting off-world. [Tenebra has left the thread to leave the business of destroying the world to his new servant.]

LIGHTNING (n.) a sudden stroke of fortune
She arrived with a most violent start. She had been drifting through the twisting cogs of time, blankly staring as visions of the past, present and future tore passed her heart. Her body was suspended on an invisible surf, ebbing and flowing against a sea if immeasurable time. The strings of the puppet had long been cut, by her own sword. She was losing faith, not in the powers or task Etro herself had bade her so humbly, to partake in, but herself. She saw no end to the beginning her friends and her had build. It was as if the mountains of destiny that she had burst through, only evolved more stubborn and sturdy defenses to lock her away. She shifted her weight so that she no longer drifted on her back. She looked off, feeling a gate twist open. The pulsing heart of a new world to visit had opened up among the tunnels. Something was going on that bade her to go. As if upon the wings of Etro, the Valkyrie soared toward the opening.
The closer she came the more she began to realize the vicious Chaos that flowed in. Had the Unseen Realm even spilled into such a distant land, a forgotten time? The eyes bestowed onto her by Etro, did not see. It seemed she would have to look with her own eyes instead. She reached out and seemed to grab onto the thread that hung this world onto the gate. She could not close the gate and leave this world drowning in such a devious darkness. Though she did not know from where, or from who, perhaps it was a piece of the puzzle that she so desperately needed to absolve herself from this search. She would pull herself in, and in a celestial rain of feathers, the Warrior would land in this world. Her senses were dull. The silence that flooded her ears would slowly give way to sound. The time which had since stopped for her, slowly began to tick away. The world drifted from a still photograph behind glass, into a vibrant cacophony of motion and life, at least as vibrant and lively as Darkness could be. The state of the land was almost sickening. As she strode forward, her own nauseating experience of returning to time waning, she took a look around on her environment. A thick fog of darkness rolled along as if it were natural, but Chaos this thick was anything but unintentional. It was as if someone called it, or was creating it. If she had to save this world to find her path, she would cut down anything and anyone in her way. Taking the Overture into her hand the Warrior looked around. The Goddess' Grace shield rest upon her right forearm and would keep her body balanced as she gripped her gunblade in her left. Something was not right....

How she came to be here, she did not know. More and more often, she just seemed to appear where she had needed to be. It was not the most pleasant of experiences, especially when one realized there were chunks of time that simply could not be accounted for. Being the ever-optimist, the green-haired girl realized that simply, if she were here, she was here, and there was no need to question it. Even if it was...sometimes a little bit scary. Coming to a sudden realization that you were surrounded by hostile people or beings was never fun!
With a feeling of floating, her gentle ruby eyes opened, fully becoming aware that she was...somewhere. A loose fitting sun dress, and scarf, as if to remind her of sunny days adorned her lithe body and neck, while brown boots, covered in baking flour, protected her feet. Full waking up, a sense of dread filled her. This was not a place she knew and it felt like...trouble. Like she was surrounded by angry, angry customers.
"This...can't be good..." she said, quietly. This was a feeling she was becoming more and more familiar with. Stepping around lightly, she tried to find the source of where that feeling was coming from. Quite fortunately, it was not from the pink-haired girl that seemed to have come from nowhere.

Soon following after Antique, Squall had made his arrival. He immediately noticed Lightning and then the younger girl not to far away. However, that is not his main concern at the moment. The Lion could feel something very dark near by, or on its way. With this Lion Heart being held firmly in the palm of his left hand, he slowly strode forward.
As tough as Leon is, he had to admit this forest was kind of creepy. It gives off that very eerie sensation. Squall soon picked up his pace a little bit to get himself slightly ahead of Lightning. You could say the Lion was rather curious to what they might encounter. The Lion could feel the darkness growing stronger by the second.
Squall was reminded of Hollow bastion because of this growing darkness. This was due to the final keyhole being there. If it wasn't for Sora locking that keyhole, the Heartless would have flooded the world and it would have drifted into eternal darkness. Hopefully, it would not be the case in this situation.

Black fog continued to roll in across the land since Lightning first arrived into the world. The twisted and crooked dark trees littered the land, as unmatched turmoil polluted the very air any visitors would be sucking down. The dark, long, twisted branches showed signs of aging while they hanged outstretched from their old wicked bodies. The ground in which the very soil the trees stood tall and firm in was dark in color, almost matching the trees and small shrubbery. This location held a dark and haunting feeling to it, and if this world did not get the proper help it needed quickly, the entire world would be consumed by the same darkness...
With three visitors already arriving in this world, it looked as if their party was about to get one person larger. Within the dark woods, a small area was naturally created by a handful of trees, forming an empty space in the shape of a circle. Hovering in the middle of the clearing, a bright white light started to form. As the light grew brighter and larger, the wind started to pick up within the area, causing the black trees to sway back and forth, as their long pointy branches scratched the air. Just below the hovering light, it looked as if the ground was pushing air outwards in all directions, swaying the blades of grass rapidly, smacking one another relentlessly.
Stretching vertically, the light seemed to grow in size as it caused a rip or tear in space and time. Its intensity was unmatched, as the shear power of this rip also caused electricity to spark and jump around the outer edges of it. With the intense light shining through the dark trees, and the crackling of electricity accenting the natural sounds of the forest, the tear ceased to grow. Holding its size, the intense display it put on was not slowing down. Suddenly, a young blonde male was seen leaping out of the tear, as he held a professional looking smile.
Feeling his body go weightless, the superstar grunted as he engaged the muscles in this torso and legs, forcing himself to commit into a series of flashy acrobatic maneuvers. Flipping around in the air, Tidus' clothing and blonde hair waved in the air in unison, as his metal necklace could be felt going weightless with the rest of his body. Still holding his typical smile, the superstar then finished out his flip as his yellow in color boots gripped the earth. With his momentum still going, Tidus was now sliding backwards as small mounds of dirt were starting to form behind his sliding feet. Placing one hand down on the ground, Tidus helped slow himself down as his other hand remained by his side, bent at the elbow with his armored hand clenched. Coming to a slow stop, Tidus remained looking at the ground as the dirt and dust he kicked up slowly rose up from the ground, and tried to settle.
With a quick flash, the rip in space vanished from existence, leaving the superstar in this eerie world. Lifting his chin, Tidus slowly stood up as he placed both hands in front of his torso and began to brush his hands together, kicking off whatever dirt might have gathered. Scanning the area left to right, Tidus acknowledged the flora and fauna as the black fog started to creep its way towards him. Lifting his armor covered arm, Tidus buried the lower half of his face into his elbow pit, utilizing it to cover his mouth and nose. Walking forward, his opposite arm waved back and forth, forcing the black fog away from his body. He did not know if this black fog was harmful or not, but he did not want to take any chances.
Walking forward, Tidus made his way through the dark natured forest where he saw three individuals. Two looked to be female as one other male made up the group. The girl with long pink hair seemed to carry herself well, and looked confident. The green haired female looked to be younger and somewhat curious about this new situation she found herself in. Tidus could not blame her, he too had his questions he wanted answered. The Male seemed to hold a serious demeanor about himself, much like the pink haired female. Looking them over one last time, Tidus hoped they were friendly, if worse came to worse, he figured he could always talk to the green haired girl, she looked the most friendly. Tidus was very confident in his fighting abilities after all he's been though, he just hoped he wouldn't have to use them on these guys. Removing his arm from his face, the superstar then sighed before making his way towards them.
Watching the male run off ahead before he could arrive, Tidus came out of the dark tree line that was blanketed by the fog. His professional smile was etched on his face as he walked up to the two females. Stopping next to them, the superstar then rubbed the back of his head, holding his typical smile.
"Hiya, I'm Tidus... So uhh, what's up?" Tidus said to them in a friendly manner.
As the superstar now saw the pink haired female close up, he was turned on and slightly intimidated. His smile then quickly turned into a nervous smile....

It didn't take long after Tidus introduced himself for the source of the foreboding feeling the heroes could sense to present itself. Train tracks that seemed to fall from the sky landed on the ground and embedded themselves, as if nailed down by invisible hands. Any one with a cursory sense of the Dark could tell that the tracks reeked of it and even seemed to be made from Darkness. The tracks built themselves along a path, passing in the center of the group that had formed. It took them seconds to do this. Then the heroes would hear something like a train whistle but it sounded more like screaming than anything. Then they could see it. The Phantom Train had mutated more from the Darkness that had been forced into it. What looked like veins seemed to pump darkness throughout the train and various spikes and winged decorations jutted out of the train. The yellow window lights seemed to glare malevolently, hateful eyes that wished wrath upon anyone in its way. The smokestack belched more than smoke and fumes out. Darkness shot into the air and formed Heartless, which fell around it and on it, either exploring the world or protecting the train itself. It was also going far faster than any train should.
It whistled again as it noticed the heroes, the noise a hellish cacophony, especially now that it was closer. "NONE SHALL IMPEDE MEEEEE!"[/color], it said as it passed. It shot out another torrent of Darkness, summoning a group of 6 Air Soldiers that swooped down at the heroes, attacking them to keep them from boarding the train. Suddenly, a wheel came off the train and shot off at Antique. While it was odd that the Train didn't seem affected by the occurrence, the wheel looked very real and seemed supernaturally able to find its way towards the Keyblader, speeding at a very dangerous pace.

LIGHTNING (n.) a sudden stroke of fortune
Light had been amidst her thoughts, the world spinning but she would finally settle in her environment. Her eyes focusd and her senses strengthened. Her blue eyes turned to look across the horizon, but there was nothing as far as her eyes could see. A thick darkness had rolled into this world, an even thicker fog smoked along the ground making it seem as if one walked on a bed of clouds. Unless this darkness had more of a substance than she thought. Her hand reached out, leather covered fingers seeking to grab onto something. Clenching her fist in the air she exhaled. She could almost feel the Darkness slip passed her fingers. It was strange. This was no ordinary Chaos. It was different somehow, yet very similar. The warrior could not place her finger on it. That was very odd. Why was the forest so silent? Where were chirping bugs and creak of the trees struggling to stand against these chilling bends of chaos, Darkness? A loud wail broke the silence of the forest, almost startling the warrior. Her head snapped up as tried to listen in on the sound. It was far away, faded. The short, blasting noise was nothing she had ever heard. Before she was able to process her thoughs something bumped into her.
The warrior jumped forward and spun her body around. Drawing her weapon from her side the Valkyrie prepared herself for combat. She was quick minded and always one to act on her instincts, but she also took care to use her mind. So instead of cutting Antique down where she stood, she took a moment to examine the enemy, but this enemy looked to be just a kid! Still, she did not let her guard down, not just yet. Sometimes the chaos took on forms and manipulated your heart. Her sword was pointed to the ground, her shield slightly raised in a defensive position. While one foot rested solidly on the ground, the other was arched up and ready to act in a moment's notice. This young girl hardly looked like trouble, but another man showed up. The motion of another approaching caught her eye. She shifted her weight so she could better glance over her shoulder. Her rose-colored locks shifted as they brushed against her metal pauldron. A face she recognized, but what was going on? Damn it what was going on?
She had never seen an influx of people into a single world. One or two perhaps, but three?
“What's going on here?” She would ask, hoping that Squall maybe had an idea, of this young girl.
She was not out of her mind right? It had to be the darkness drawing them to a singular point, this Chaos absorbing bodies into the flow of time and space. At least that was the best way she could understand. She had been part of the Unseen Realm for so long that there were times she was unsure where, or when she was. Was she in the past? Or the future? Her eyes, they told her nothing, but it had to be due to the fact she was so far from Valhalla. Perhaps this was not chaos. When a fourth young man appeared, she was very worried. Her arm lowered further, the tip of the Overture clicking against the dirt ground. The boy, a bit more energetic than the other male present, whom she was fine with, but the contrasting natures was easily felt in the dreary environment. The Valkyrie scoffed and glanced away. Her free hand came to rest against her chin.
“That's what I'd like to know... but whatever it is, it can't be good.” The warrior spoke as she turned.
There it was! It was the sound of some sort of churning engine. It bellowed and roared and even hollered out no sooner had the young, blond male introduced himself. The whistling of a train was not something Light had ever heard, used to the Monorails of her world. The shout was a declaration of a victory one would not allow another to swipe from right under their nose. The warrior hopped back when the Darkness consumed vehicle summoned smaller creatures to aide it.
“Well I think we found the source of all this darkness,” or at least it found them. “If you can't fight, run!” The warrior kicked off the ground, toward the Train's minions.
As she charged forward the Train seems to have shot off one of its wheels, which whizzed passed her. She was unable to respond to I as her focus remained on the enemies. With her blade in hand the Valkyrie would shift her weight and charge forward, but not by much, merely separating herself from the others. She threw out her free hand, aiming for the closest pair of fliers.
“You're going down!” She asserted as she fired Ruinga from her hand.
The spell would fly toward the enemy, a small, condensed ball of silver-colored energy. When the pocket of energy contacted with an enemy it would implode and and erupt out into a deadly pocket of non-elemental physical based magic. If she was lucky she could catch a third in the spreading burst before it would spread out acros the air and completely thin out into nothingness.
-----------
•Ruinga: 3 Cooldown This ability deals non elemental damage to all enemies withing a 2m(6ft) radius, which can be launched from a distance.

The young green haired girl was not quite sure how to take this situation. Her garnet eyes blinking in confusion, she stared in awe at the other three. Judging from their appearances alone, she could tell they were from worlds she was not familiar with. The one with rose hair definitely reminded her of some kind of medieval warrior...and though she was scary (did she just try to cut her down?!), there was this silent beauty that radiated from her. Antique found herself blushing in complete awe. Mentally forcing herself to pull her gaze away to stop staring, she observed the other two.
Brown hair and intimidating looking was one of the gentlemen--she definitely would not want to run into him in a dark alleyway...Was everyone here this terrifying? Perhaps it was just the stoic expression on his face. She had to remember not to judge a book by it's cover...but it was hard not to think he radiated scariness compared to the third blonde one who reminded her...of a pop-star! That was a correct observation, right? She smiled warmly at the tanned boy with blonde hair and shrugged her shoulders. Considering his expression, he was just as confused as she was.
But things just happened to get weirder.
It wasn't much soon after that that the source of that feeling of despair made its presence known. The sound of a train, the rushing away of the rose-haired girl, and the threat of: fight or run. Normally under these circumstances Antique would have run away--however--
A dark wheel whizzed it's way toward her--right at her face! As if on instinct, she flipped her wrist, summoning Heavenly Delight to her hand. With a short yelp and holding her keyblade in between her and the wheel, she squinted her eyes. Her feet had dug into the ground, leveling out the impact. But it seemed as if the wheel was not going to stop. Her arms being pushed against her chest, she whimpered, trying to think of what to do.
She had to get it away, get it away...wait, that was it!
Breathing in and turning her head away (were those seriously sparks?!), Heavenly Delight's bell chimed as if a gentle breeze were moving it. Instead, a small hurricane sang from it, smelling of freshly made vanilla cupcakes, and blew the wheel away! Eyes widening in surprise, she hoped that was enough to make it go away permanently--usually that would rid a few Heartless away from her as well...let's just see what her luck was. Running forward, she knew she was stuck in this fight...There was no way she was going to be useless!

Shortly after his own arrival, Tidus had arrived with a rather carefree attitude. However, his attention was focused on Lightnings own question. "Its the darkness causing some trouble," Squall said softly. Without a doubt in his mind some kind of powerful creature was behind what was happening here? Soon enough the Phantom Train came unleashing its wild darkness.
It had only taken a few short moments before one of its wheels flew passed him and at the younger girl behind him. Just like that the party had begun with flying Heartless circling around them in the air. It's not like he can jump sky high and attack these creatures, so he had to use a little bit of magic. With his free hand, Leon tucked his right elbow in towards his rib cage.
Within moments a searing hot ball of fire had been charged in the palm of his right hand. Once ready, Squall had thrust-ed his arm forward and launched his Firaga spell towards one of the Air Soldiers. The Lion never liked dealing with flying enemies, they were rather hard to reach with just his sword.

"That's what I'd like to know... But whatever it is, it can't be good." Lightning replied to Tidus as she turned away.
Before Tidus could get another word in, the sudden sound of a screaming train filled the dark air. At first nothing could be seen, but suddenly something started to form out of thin air. The echo of the dark infested beast stretched throughout the entire forest. Suddenly, rails seemed to fall from the sky as they found themselves planted into the ground by large nails. With the track suddenly being created before the individuals eye's the constant roar of the terrorizing train grew closer and closer as its yellow intimidating eyes glared upon the four unsuspecting individuals. With the track cutting through the group on the dark forest floor, the puffing smoke erupting from the evil train's stack began to manifest in mid air. With each dark hot cloud of smoke formed a flying heartless, ready to dive down and demolish the small group of saviors. The black clouds quickly manipulated themselves as they took on the form of Air Soldiers. The soldiers cackled as they manifested, each flap from their twin wings sent small gusts of wind forward through the air, making tree branches sway. Their black palms stretched as the red tipped nails scratched the air. Rotating on top their heads were the small propellers that only speed up the faster they flew. Each one of them took their pick from the four fighters of light as they flew towards them.
Screeching its way along the metal rails, the horrifying train continued to gain speed as it made its way towards the fighters. Seeing the terrifying train get closer as it bellowed more heartless from its smoke stack, Tidus took several steps back. Not sure what to think, he narrowed his brows as his smile faded into a more serious look. Flying down the tracks the train rushed by as it sent a cold gust of wind past the group. Along with the train rushing by, a large wheel shot off the side of the train as it quickly flew right towards the emerald haired baker. Since the superstar was standing close to the young female, he could feel the breeze the wheel made as it cut through the air at Antique.
"Woah!" Tidus yelled as he held a shocked look on his face, almost falling down from surprised event. "Hey! Look out!" Tidus yelled as he threw his hand forward towards the girl, as if he could reach out and save her. But the reality was, he was to far away.
Watching the wheel head towards his new partner, he witnessed the young female summon a type of magic he never seen before as she attempted to halt the magnificent wheel in mid flight. It was a magic that Tidus never saw Lulu cast during their travels around Spira. The young female seemed to have summoned a hurricane like magic as it filled the surrounding area with the warm scent of freshly baked cupcakes, keeping the large wheel at bay, and away from the emerald haired mage.
Breaking his amazement, Tidus could feel the hot sensation against his back, as the Firaga casted by Squall made its appearance on the battle field. A giant flash of light was seen illuminating behind Tidus as it quickly formed long casting shadows on the surrounding trees and occupants on the newly formed battle field. Quickly turning around, Tidus witnessed the pink haired warrior cut a path through heartless as her face held a confident and determined expression. Looking over, to his right, he watched as the dark haired male who bore a long scar across his face was holding his own as well. Just who were these guys?
As the cackling Air Soldiers could be heard flapping their wings above Tidus, he quickly noticed he had his own group of heartless to deal with. Not wanting the others to think he was just a waste of man power, the super star figured he would have to show them he what he was capable, and what he learned during his travels around Spira. He had to show these three he was more than just a professional athlete, he was a Guardian, the savior of the world, he was going to help them! Producing a smirk on his lips, Tidus then held a confident look on his face as he lowered his body. He just hoped the other three brought a helmet, so they didn't make a mess when he blew their minds!
Seeing as this was a small group of flying heartless that targeted Tidus, he quickly formulated a plan in his head, and he was gonna see it through. Knowing his greatest asset in battle was his incredible speed, Tidus knew he would naturally be faster than these evil creatures. Lifting his black gloved hand up towards his chest, he then quickly swiped it downwards as he held it next to his side. Suddenly, bubbles started to float elegantly around his hand before a quick flash of light produced his water themed sword, The Brotherhood. Armed and ready for combat, Tidus then executed his game plan with amazing speed.
Engaging the muscles in his legs, Tidus bolted off the ground as he headed towards the flying heartless who currently dominated the air. As the superstar kicked up small clouds of dust from the forest floor with each stride, he then began to summon some magic of his own. Engulfing his body momentarily, blue energy began to lick his body as he began to summon the magic. Quickly, Tidus then through his empty hand forward several yards in front of him, forcing it to appear in between him and the small pack of enemies. Instantly a small pillar of water erupted in front of the flying heartless as the sound of water splashing could be heard with its sudden appearance.
Tilting their head in confusion, the air soldiers then looked at each other as if they wondered if this blonde haired youth knew what he was doing. If he was attempting to hit the two of them, he was way off and just wasted his magic on empty space. Laughing, the two heartless began to throw their heads back as they grabbed their stomachs with their hands, trying to help succumb the pain they were generating in their inner torso from laughing to hard. As the air born heartless laughed one of them then looked back at the small water pillar that was formed in front of them. Suddenly stopping its laughter, the heartless then made a questionable noise as it witness Tidus attack unfold before them.
Running quickly towards the small water pillar, Tidus leaped off the ground as he then planted his foot on top of water and used it like an acting platform. With his yellow in color boot leaving the water pillar, small streams and beads of water followed the sole of his boot, as if the water was trying desperately to hold on. Vanishing as quickly as it formed, the water pillar left the wold as Tidus was now heading right towards the heartless in mid air.
With his sword grasped tightly in his right hand, Tidus then narrowed his brows as he held a serious demeanor. Bringing his right arm across the front of his body, the superstar's blue eyes targeted the first heartless. With his momentum driving forward, the remaining heartless were startled as they let out a shriek of fear. Flipping around in the air, Tidus then headed downward towards one of the heartless as he twirled the sword around in his hand. With the pointy end of the blade facing downward now, Tidus brought his other hand upwards as it grasped the sword handle. Coming straight down, the superstars aimed his blade at the top of the heartless' head as he landed on it. Quickly pulling his blade out, he used that heartless as another platform, jumping off of it before its wings stopped flapping. Heading straight towards the last heartless he then engaged the muscles in his wrist as he rotated the sword around again. Grasping the sword tightly he then quickly began to spin around in mid air like a top as his blade cut through the air, leaving small bubbles to form in his wake. Reaching the heartless in a flash, he continued his fast spinning slice attack as he aimed at the torso of the air soldier.
"See-ya!" Tidus yelled out loud.
Landing on the ground, Tidus slid backwards as he eyed his progress. Satisfied with his work, Tidus then smiled as looked upon the other three to see about their progress...

The Phantom Train continued its progress, passing the group as they battled the Heartless that accosted them. To their credit, the Heartless numbers dwindled from the six originally to two now, thanks to the efforts of the heroes. However, there was something they probably had forgotten. The train wasn't stopping and didn't seem to be circling around. It wasn't going to stay and fight, but rather keep on its appointed task of coating the world in Heartless. There were still a few cars left, but they were very quickly about to leave as well. The two Heartless left continued to their attacks, this time focusing their efforts on keeping out of reach of their attacks and divebombing the heroes from their blind spots.
Meanwhile, the Phantom Train was brewing up an attack to keep the heroes distracted or incapacitated. It fired a shot of darkness into the air from its smokestack, which seemed to explode outwards until it resembled a storm cloud. The storm cloud then started to rain down on the group of heroes. However, this was no refreshing spring rain, but the Train's Acid Rain attack. Acid rained down on the entire group, seemingly ineffective against the Train itself or the Heartless. The train continued on its way, breaking through the trees of the Phantom Forest and hurtling towards Doma Castle. Once upon a time, an evil sorceror poisoned the Castle's river, killing all but one person inside. Now the train was about to repeat history, with a different and possibly more sinister poison of its own.
(Note: Next round, the train will leave the clearing. Better catch it fast!)
[Summon Heartless (2 Air Soldiers): 1 HP each] [Wheel: A wheel comes off Phantom Train and smacks one person for moderate damage - Cooldown: 1 Round] [Acid Rain: The Train conjures a storm cloud that spills forth rain made of Acid onto the entire party for moderate damage - Cooldown: 3 rounds]

LIGHTNING (n.) a sudden stroke of fortune
All around it seemed none of those present were part of this world and were, let alone, aware of the situation. From what Lightning could gather the Train was the source of this trouble. With the way it spewed out these creatures was enough proof toward this fact. She had never seen creatures like this, it was her first time. They were nothing like the beasts that often fell through time into the fields of combat. Their sizes and shapes were nothing like any animal or monster she has ever seen. She had charged headlong into battle and let her spell fly. Before Ruinga had landed the Valkyrie had managed to drop back down to the ground. Airborne enemies were never a problem for the agile warrior. Even with her armor, it was a sacred plate that provided her with the freedom of movement, but the protective hand of Etro in the same setting. Her pink hair fell to frame her face, and before a moment could even pass she would kick off the ground after landing into a full ground.
The Valkyrie completely left the ground once more, her legs pushing off with a powerful kick. She shifted her weight and flipped backwards, landing a short distance away from where she had began. When casting she always made sure to keep a distance, for the time it took for the spell to land or miss, she could be in the middle of danger and not realize it. The explosive power of Ruin was not to be ignored either. As the compressed spell collapsed in on itself it would leave behind a large cloud of thick, silverly magic from the impact. When she landed from her flip she settled her right foot flat against the ground and allowed her left to sit with the heel slightly raised off the ground. In her left hand she gripped the Overture, while in her right arm sat her shield, the Goddess' Grace. She glanced back as the others seemed to push into combat.
The smaller of them seemed to fight to defend against the train's wheel while the other two went straight for the fliers. The green-haired girl did not manage to defend herself against the train's brutal attack, and as the boys set off taking out the dark beings, Lightning felt responsible for the younger girl. She sighed out and turned to fully face her. The warrior threw out her hand.
“What are you doing? Be strong!” Light was not going to be harsh. She knew that it was better to encourage a younger individual than push them back, as if they were not capable.
If the girl was scared, she did not show it by backing down, so Lightning would act as her support. When Light had thrown out her hand, it was not to direct the young girl. A soft, warm energy had stated to form in the warrior's hand, her digits dancing with several, white, whips of magic.
“You'll make it.” She encouraged after casting a Curaga spell on Antique before turning to face the bellowing train again.
Tidus and Squall were able to face their opponents, but the train seemed to roll on in a furious motion. Another dark cloud erupted from his stack, but instead of those dark beings being released, a poisonous cloud rain down upon them, burning against any sparing of uncovered flesh. The acid rain filled the skies, but if they did not act soon it could, possibly, do much worse. This thing behaved in a destructive manner that much reminded her of certain Fal'Cie, but unlike Atomos this train was anything but productive. Instead of tilling the land this monster ravaged it. The poison could very well drain into the land and harm it. Even if it was not her world, she was here now, and perhaps this dark creature was the reason the time gate was ripped open so forcibly.
“Damn it!” She rushed forward, feeling the burning against her skin, but ignoring it for the time being. “You need to switch targets!” The Valkyrie shouted over the screaming whistles of the demon train.
If they did not stop the train, they would miss their chance. The minions were being produced by its smoke stack, so not matter how many they cleaved down, so long as that demonic vehicle had life in it, it would continue to rampage. What could she do though? She would never be able to catch up to it on foot. For a long time he was quiet, but she needed him to come to her one last time. She had been so trapped in her own heart she had lost her way with his lessons. She could not remain this way though. Her weakness is what had made her fail. She had to depend on no one but herself. He was part of her, so he could be called upon.
She closed her eyes and prayed. She prayed to lock away that part of her heart and call to her strength above. Light threw her hand up, into the air, as if reaching. The clouds summoned by the train began to spark with lightning.
“I may no longer be a l'Cie, but I can still fight like a monster!” She proclaimed. “Odin!”
A bolt of lightning crashed into the ground beside her as a mighty steed of metal erupted from the clouds above. The warrior swing around her blade and sheathed her weapon so she could better pull herself onto the back of her Eidolon. She tightened her legs to hold her place on his back and drew her blade.
“Let's ride!” She pushed forward. The thundering hooves of Odin trampled through the tracks, following the trail of darkness left by the monstrous vehicle.
She had to slow it down. Pushing her steed faster and faster. The galloping hooves roared like rolling thunder. She had to do something....

Ah! Such elegance! The way that the three moved, now that she got a moment to breathe, were amazing. Like it was some kind of choreographed dance. They seemed to handle themselves and the Heartless ever so easily. Easy as pie...Which, Antique, being a baker, knew that baking a pie and making it presentable and tasty was just not easy at all! It only looked easy! And these guys made mowing down their enemies simple! Which brought to her attention...why was she...why was she even here? If they could handle it, why was she summoned here? Holding her Keyblade close to her chest, she held in her self doubt. It was true, she really was no warrior, and really was no hero...Clenching her eyes shut she held in her frustration--all she wanted to do was help!
Opening her ruby eyes, convinced she wasn't going to cry, she looked in shock as the rose-haired girl held a hand out to her. Thinking she was going to get scolded for barely being able to carry her own weight, she flinched, and was thoroughly surprised to see the white light from it, healing her injuries. Eyes widening in surprise, she could not help but smile brightly. She quietly mouthed a "thank you" because she was at a loss for words--the rose haired girl was the one she was most afraid of...to think she was as kind as she was beautiful! Turning her head back to the fight, she breathed in. She could do this. She could do this.
“You need to switch targets!”
Eh? What? And then, suddenly, the rain appeared. That moment of self doubt had made her distracted. She flinched in pain, and started running toward the train, taking Lightning's cue to chase them--okay, granted she just...summoned a being! How wonderful and strong she was! Gritting her teeth, she told herself she would not take the help in vein. The problem was...this thing was...fast. Really fast. There was no way she was going to be able to catch something like that. There had to be a way. She looked behind her--some way...to at least help. Wait! That was it!
"Oooh, darn it!" she said, lifting up the Keyblade, and waving it. "Just...just SLOW down, would you?"
At her command, the Keyblade sang a sweet song, its bell ringing above the sound of acid rain. She grounded herself, and lifted her hands in the air. The smell of fresh baked sweets radiated from her, and wafted through the air as if it was on its own breeze. She remembered the smell of Melon Bread and how it took time and patience to bake it to perfection. And that's what she needed. Time! Light emanated from the ground, following the Train, and, if seen from above, formed a faint outline of a clock. At first, the hands of the clock ticked normally, and then started to slow down*. Antique grinned from her spot, and began running after the train. She was not going to be able to catch it...
But if it gave others the time they needed to catch it, that's all she needed! As she ran, she noticed the rain still coming down, and flinched--the high of casting a spell had distracted her from the pain. With a whisper, her Keyblade produced another spell, and the etheral image of a hard roll** appeared above her and followed her like an umbrella, bumping some of the rain away from her. At least, temporarily.
((OOC: Tidus, I'm leaving Antique to you!)) ---------------------------------------------
*Mellow Melon Bread--Increases all of the affected's current cooldown's by 1 post for a 2 post duration. It does not affect it affect its own cooldown.
