The town of scares and tricks, Halloween Town. It was a place the Dark Heart knew well enough and one he had visited at one point in the past where he had encountered Riku once more for a short time. Since that time, the Dark Heart had drifted to other places in his constant search for data, homes for the Heartless, and of course any little edge that would push the new Organization closer to end result of the Cause. The Dark Heart had wandered and learned much in a short time, but today he was returning to the familiar as he wandered down the dark passageways of the Corridors.
It was not a whim that pulled him down the familiar passageways or pass the familiar scents of worlds he had seen more than once. It was not data or boredom, either. Something was calling him. Calling him to Halloween Town once more, so he followed the call until he finally had wound up in the town of screams and laughs. As he appeared in the form of a figure wearing a brown cloak with black studded straps across the chest, he looked around the small area he had appeared in, recognizing it as some back alley that would lead out into the more open square ahead. As he stood alone in the alley, he stretched out his senses finding exactly what had drawn him here as his body solidified from the darkness within the cloak.
There were outsiders here...a good handful too with the majority of them being Light and yet there was a hint of him there too, but why were they all in one spot? Together? Curious about this blend of Light and Dark, he followed their trail staying in the shadows until he did indeed find the group. Sticking to the shadows, he observed the group and listened to what they were saying.
For the most part the talk was the usual affair: introductions and talks of "I am lost" and what not. As he listened, he picked up on names as he took in each person there. For starters, there was the young man with the monkey tail, transformed by the world to give him a hideous look, but at the same time he remained quite noble looking. He called himself Zidane. Then there was a woman that looked equally as noble, but appeared to have a more gentler side than the rough and tumbled man. This one called herself Rosa. The other two males he saw were already known to him, their scent recognized by him easily enough. Xemnas and Young Xehanort, pieces of the original like himself, so he didn't pay too much mind to them. And for the final piece?
As he remained hidden, his golden eyes locked on the girl in the black dress and knew without her even saying it that she was the reason he had been drawn to this world. Keyblader....[/color] He knew their Hearts anywhere and like most Heartless he was drawn to them. He always wanted to see how much of a threat they were to his kind and also the Cause. Keybladers were an odd variety that sometimes were more burdensome than he wanted them to be and at other times more useful than your average run of the mill warrior. He wondered where this one would fall.
As he listened to the conversation, he heard something quite intriguing from the girl. Not only had she just revealed that she was indeed a keyblader, but now she had gone even further by mentioning she was from the future and had come here to undo an event that ended all keybladers.
To this the Dark Heart, tilted his head from the shadows. Another that had figured out time traveling and had come from a future where only she was a keyblader? Now how did that occur?[/color] he wondered as he continued to listen to the conversation.
His other two pieces remained cryptic as usual as they continued to speak, but at least with everyone else around her the girl was showing just how trusting she was...meaning that in end maybe gaining his answers would not be so hard. Perhaps also she, too, could be used for other things. He made a note to himself to get the others' thoughts about the situation later. Right now, he'd play the observer and just listen. After all, the other two had this under control. So for the time being, he kept his distance listening.
The girl continued to talk. According to her words, she couldn't remember the cause of the event that wiped out keybladers at all. Disappointing, but useful nonetheless. He would simply have to keep an eye on this new specimen to see exactly how much he could learn from in the end. Not a problem. He was willing to wait.
The Dark Heart continued to watch the scene unfold, taking in the mannerism of each individual as they seemed to form some sort alliance and focused on cleaning up the mess that had been created within Halloween Town. A mess that had spread to many worlds according to the whispers of the Heartless, but he wondered if this girl's appearance had caused that...It was definitely a possibly.
In any case, the trivial things did not matter. What mattered now, was what was going to happen next.
The Dark Heart continue to observe. Young Xehanort covered his tracks by not revealing his true name and the trusting girl gobbled the words up without a qualm before promising not to reveal more than was needed in the future. Heh! If she only knew what she had already done. The Heartless Leader shook his head slightly as a faint smirk appeared on his lips before he was focusing once more on the conversation at hand.
They were forming a plan to figure out just what had caused the mess in Halloween Town to begin with, but before nods or what not were given, Azalea turned to Rosa and began speaking about where she was from and her purpose. The whole thing filled in missing gaps for those who not heard the conversation before, but the way Azalea gave such information made him wonder if she could really hold her tongue if someone could gain her trust that easily. It would be a fun little thing to test in the future. In any case, she turned the situation from herself back to the problem at hand before turning her attention to Xemnas as he spoke.
He watched her respond to the cryptic nature of the questions with amusement as he kept an eye on the others in the group. The monkey tailed one seemed suspicious of Xemnas and Young Xehanort, but in the end seemed willing to work with what he had. Young Xehanort was calm, collected, and secretive as always. He played off Xemnas's arrival easily enough as he used words to distract as he cast a marker on the woman called Azalea. A marker that made The Seeker of Darkness smile inwardly. So the girl would be something to he could test and dissect in the end, eh? Now that would be fun, especially if she didn't break like so many others. He began to wonder if she would become a Heartless in the end. With a new target marked and more intrigued than ever, the Heartless sunk further into the shadows. Deciding not to interfere just yet.
With his task done, "The Youth", as Young Xehanort called himself, began speaking of the keyblade and the weight such a weapon carried upon the wielder before telling Azalea she needed to learn to control it, backing up what had already been said. That was very true. If she remained weak, then beings like himself could easily take advantage of the situation and perhaps make her a better puppet than Riku was. A thought that brought both amusement and annoyance to the hidden Heartless. Riku and Sora could be problematic in the long run, but he supposed if he and the others were to stay on "friendly" terms with the girl then maybe Sora and Riku's interference could become a stepping stone in the end. After all, he was sure the keybladers of Light would discover Azalea soon or later...A hurdle to be dealt with when the time came.
After that little speech, "The Youth" responded to the situation suggesting that they needed all the pieces of the puzzle first to figure out what was going on asking them to use their Hearts to see the truth. Then he made a statement that made the Heartless smile even more as the creatures of the town came into view when the moon decided to show itself from behind the dark clouds. He invited them to enter the Darkness and open themselves up to the Organization. Understanding the invite, the Heartless Leader watched to see how strong these Light warriors truly were. Would they stand tall or sink? Time would tell. So he watched and waited.
His eyes turned to the woman called Rosa as he took note of how she seemed willing to help in the long run, but in the end was cautious or perhaps afraid of the other two Xehanorts. Fear and caution. It could weigh her down, but as the Heartless observed her a whole longer, he began to doubt that was the case. Perhaps her ways made her stronger. More protective and perhaps troublesome. Hmm...While he didn't see her or Zidane as big problems, he would still watch them as he did all Light who liked to meddle and get in the way. His eyes watched the other two Lights for a bit longer before they shifted to Xemnas and the words he said. After speaking, the Nobody left to attend to other work leaving the whole ordeal of helping with clean up to Young Xehanort.
A move that Ansem may have mimicked if he did not have another reason to be here outside of the girl. Those two Light warriors...he wanted to see what they could do to gauge just how much of a problem they would be. And after that...well he had been given his orders by Master Xehanort, so he would indeed follow up on them. After all, he didn't have plans to stay long. Just long enough to gather what he needed.
With this in mind, he moved from his spot in the shadows using darkness as a path moved to a new shadow that would give him a better perspective on what was about to unfold. Blending his aura with the natural darkness around the area to the point where only another piece of Xehanort could find him, the Heartless kept himself hidden as he continued to watch and listen.
Azalea was responding to each thing in her usual way, but made it quite clear that Darkness was not for her. Ansem had to resist the urge to ask her to try it as the more creature side of him wanted nothing more than to claim those with powerful Light Hearts. He kept himself in check with logic and patience. He couldn't try to break the toy so soon. That would come sometime later. Right now it was just data gathering. Right.
In any case, the girl was delighted to hear Rosa say she would help out. The giggling and joy coming from the girl slightly annoyed the Heartless, but the annoyance was quickly swept away by the advantage of this trusting nature of Azalea. Yes, she would indeed be an interesting subject of study. As Xemnas left, she tried to ask what he meant by "chosen", but the Nobody had made good on his escape leaving the group with the problem of the possessed furniture coming into the area and unanswered questions
As Azalea turned her attention to the problem, Ansem nodded mentally as the data he been waiting for was now about to be gained. Sure this would not tell him all that he needed to know about this group, but at least he'd have that much more information on what sort of Light warriors he was dealing with and what sort of bite that keyblader had. The beginning of this data gathering was...less than grand.
For starters, the keyblader couldn't even make move in the current footwear she had on. She nearly fell to the ground when she tried to attack! Well, that was not impressive at all. The Heartless shook his head from his hidden spot before glancing over to see what the others were doing, hoping it was a much better show than this girl's display of "skills".
Zidane was not impressive at all either...despite the fact that it seemed like he was ready to fight. Instead it seemed shock froze him in his place. As for the other piece of Xehanort, he decided to stay and fight by the girl's side, summoning his own keyblade and further hiding his true nature with words. He watched as the other kept his attacks simple and his manner helpful. Good. Very good. He would expect nothing less from those that served the Cause.
His eyes shifted to the other female in the group. She was summoning a bow with arrows and using Light attacks to ward off their attackers. He watched as Rosa took steps further away from the enemy preferring instead to act as a long range fighter and back up to her group of allies. Fair enough. His eyes shifted to Azalea once more as she began to move. She changed her shoes by showing she could indeed resist's a world's magic in some fashion. Now that was something worth noting. Perhaps she was better at what she did than he gave her credit for. Still the ordeal seem to exhaust her a bit...interesting.
Regardless of this, the girl decided to attack speaking as she did. She used a move similar to Sora's Strike Raid to attack the lesser furniture. The move was successful. Well that was at least an improvement from her first attempt. Maybe she wasn't so lost after all.
In any case, as she fought spoke with Young Xehanort on why he had to be hidden before thanking him for his next piece of advice. For someone who was a keyblader that seemed like a rather odd question to ask, but then again if she really was the only one left in her time then perhaps the reason to hide was non-existance. Of course there was the possibility she might've lost the truth when she got "knocked" into Halloween Town also. It was really hard to say.
In any case, that really didn't matter at the moment to the Heartless as he continued to watch each slowly go into action after Young Xehanort and Rosa begun their attacks. Zidane pulled out a pair of daggers after making his unnecessary statement before moving to help Azalea. The guy did some fancy moves before landing in a way that was elegant to some, but just plain dramatic to the Heartless. While the boy was quick... that smirk he gave at the end to impress the ladies could get him in a world of trouble --
The Heartless's eyes flickered to some movement behind the boy and he saw another lesser piece of furniture coming towards the boy's head, aiming to get him while his back was turned. While Ansem was not one to save someone from their own mistakes, the Heartless made an exception in this case as he came to a conclusion of a sorts within. While he didn't think the group would lose against the numerous bits of furniture with the other Xehanort there, he thought it better to act in this case than watch the show from the sideline. He could still gather data and at least pretend to be nice...for now. Besides what better way to gain trust than to follow what the other Xehanort had started?
Keeping his Darkness suppressed to keep his true nature from being given away. Ansem moved through the shadows once more and found a position within the crowds of town folk to appear without anyone truly noticing, but keeping him close enough to make entering battle easy.
Summoning Soul Eater to his hand, Ansem quickly moved through the crowd acting more like a concerned citizen rather than the creature he truly was as he headed towards the battle. Using his natural skill with his staff like weapon, he dashed forwards and attacked the piece of furniture that had gotten dangerously close to the tailed man's head. His two fold strike was expertly placed. The first strike was a horizontal swipe that was well above the crouched man's head as he moved forward and got between the furniture and its intended target. He did a spin as he whacked the furniture back with the move. Never stopping and not giving the thoughtless piece of material a chance to recover, his switch his stance shifting his energy forward as he brought his staff upward and caught the furniture with the bottom blade, the two impacts caused the piece furniture --a chair-- to crack and shatter, the piece going backwards and away from himself and the group as it did so.
With the immediate threat gone, the Seeker of Darkness paused back-to-back with the crouching man as he remained slightly crouched his weapon ready for anything. In his pause, he turned his face slightly, his hood keeping a good portion of his face hidden as he seemed to observe the group with a glance.
"Keep focused and find the source lest we should be here all day with the furniture," was all he said in a calm voice that was neither gentle nor threatening. He didn't acknowledge the other piece of Xehanort or even gave any hint that he had been there all long watching and listening to the group. To cover his tracks even more, he allowed some of the world's magic to shift his form causing him to appear more like an vampire rather than the dangerous eater of Hearts that he was. For all this group, with the exception of one, knew he was indeed just a citizen that had decided to help. Whatever the case was, the Seeker of Darkness did not try to introduce himself or say anything to confuse the group more. No, instead he did something more natural to humans as he caught the scent of danger and turned his attention to a bed that was wobbling its way towards him. Sighing slightly at the situation as if it truly bothered him, he shifted his positioning on the field once more so that he could easily slip into attacking his next target while keeping the others' positions and actions within view. He didn't want to hit any of them after all.

Back on one particular world where Snow had been in a huge fight with someone of Darkness, Snow thought that he had finished his opponent. He didn't rise up from all the destruction Snow brought upon him, so Snow sent Stiria and Nix away. However, when the smoke cleared, he found that he wasn't there. There was no trace of him. Snow scratched his head, wondering if he had overdone it. His opponent was really strong, Snow thought that he would have blocked it in some sort of way. Snow thought that, with his opponent's sheer magical strength, his opponent would simply survive the attack. Snow figured that either way, it was over now. Snow turned off the powers of his trenchcoat and walked back to his airship. He walked into his airship and sat in the pilot's seat and closed the walking ramp behind him by pulling a level on the control panel. Snow turned on the engines to his airship and his aircraft roared to life. Snow exhaled, being slightly disappointed. What if this guy knew something? Snow figured sure the world Snow found himself in was safe, but now he was back in square one in search for those guys in the black hoods. Snow grabbed the airship yoke and flew on out of the world with incredible speed...not noticing that the world...had fallen to darkness...
As Snow flew, he passed the different worlds. He saw some that he had already been to and some that he hadn't see or rather investigated at all. Snow figured that he should explore the world closest to the one that previously left but it didn't seem someone so malicious would hide in some of these worlds. Snow figured that he would meet a dead end time after time, if he didn't randomize his search. However, Snow began to think; what if these guys didn't discriminate? It's not like if they went out to pick a place to hold their base or whatever, they would skip out on worlds because they looked too "wimpy" for them. This whole investigative thing was not Snow's cup of tea at all. Why did Hope send him out on this mission? Speaking of Hope, where was he? Snow had hoped that Hope was putting in as much work as he was...
Sooner rather than later, he found a world that looked like...well...place Darkness would dwell. Snow had no qualms over walking straight into the front door of Darkness and knocking on it and asking for all of those bad guys to come out and face The Hero. Hope didn't want Snow be about that though. Hope wanted him to do research and plan, but Snow already had a plan, and it was to pummel the Darkness. Snow flew right in to this world only to find to be the strangest world he had been to thus far. Snow had seen everything since coming here in his opinion, and he has never seen a world quite like this one. Snow landed on the outskirts of what seemed like a town. Snow figured that this place was pretty behind in technology so he was sure to be careful and land away from the public. He didn't know what would happen if they saw a 6'7" man come out of an airship.
Snow then made his way to the town and into the town square only to see something unreasonably odd. He saw five individuals...fighting what seemed to be...furniture? Snow widened his eyes and looked around to see if anyone else was seeing what he was seeing. There was a woman with a bow and arrows, a young man with a tail dual-wielding daggers, a cloacked man wielding a double bladed pole-arm, and a woman who had a Keyblade. People that carried these things seemed to be everywhere but according to Sora, denizens of Light and Darkness could wield Keyblades. It was then that Snow found what he was looking for. A man in an Orgniazation XIII cloak...he wielded a keyblade as well...but he was fighting alongside who seemed to be the citizens of this town. Snow didn't know what was going on but he will have to deal with the black cloaked man later.
Right now, he had to get rid of this rabid furniture. Snow wouldn't be able to concentrate on the black cloaked man if the furniture were free to attack the citizens. These pieces of furniture sure were tenacious and vicious, though. However, Snow couldn't just leave them there. He had to help them, it was his duty as a hero. Snow began to activate his weapon, the Wild Bear. The Wild Bear was a trenchcoat of AMP technology which held strength boosting emblems in the forms of various patches that resemble the face of a bear and runes sewn onto the back of his jacket. These patches and runes made themselves known as they began to fade into visibility. He then ran to join the fray. Snow saw that a piece of furniture was headed to the brown cloaked man with the polearm. Snow, as he ran, picked up speed and momentum and when he got close to what appeared to be a bed about to attack the brown cloaked man, he gave a punishing right hand uppercut to launch the bed into the air. He then opened up his two palms and energy began to gather in his two palms. Snow decided to use the attack Ruin, which was an energy ball attack which also exploded upon contact with any surface. He then threw the twin orbs of energy at full force at the bed, causing it to explode.
"You guys don't mind if I cut in, do ya? You guys alright?", Snow asked, being and weary of the one wearing the Organization XIII cloak.
Powers Used:
Ruin: This is a non-elemental attack. Snow simply conjures up a medium sized ball of energy and he throws it at his opponent. Snow can throw two at a time. (1 post cooldown)

If I don't come along...
Now that she looked closely, the figures weren't just shadows at all. Was her mind playing tricks on her again? The things took shape of what seemed to be....furnitures? After dodging a usually harmless bedside table she landed on her feet next to the monkey like boy, bringing a very nasty looking couch to heel with her fleeting arrows.
"Look out!" But Rosa's warnings were for naught as her new friends looked like they can handle themselves in a pinch. These people are strong enough, maybe strong enough for any adversary that might come their way. It was humbling but inspiring at the same time, perhaps if she would have the time to learn the arts of their world, then maybe she'd be strong enough to protect the people she loved back home.
Strong enough to protect Cecil.
Melancholic thoughts aside, she knew that the sheer numbers of these creatures might be a bit of a handicap, and it alarmed her. No matter how much they strike down, more and more appear; there had to be a way. She stepped to the side to dodge a hostile coat rack, her agile feet letting her settle in with ease before her body tautened to release another bunch of arrows to strike down those furniture that were threatening to attack her peers from behind. Where are they coming from?
'Keep focused and find the source lest we should be here all day with the furniture.'
The man spoke reason, but as Rosa looked around to where it came from she saw a man wearing the same set of robes as 'The Youth'. It unnerved her to a degree but he does have a point. There was no end it seemed to this horde of monsters and they should act fast. But even if she did want to find the source, the unfamiliar place held her back from searching anywhere. She was afraid of what would lie ahead and if it were safe.
'There's no Cecil to save you this time, Rosa.'
No, the white mage shook her head in indignation and held her head high. Casting Protect on each and every person fighting against the monsters, even on the two cloaked men, she decided to stray a little bit from the group and shoot her way amidst the horde of furniture-fiends wanting to see where they lead. She signaled to Azalea, the mage not foolish enough to go do it on her own. She knew her own limitations, and facing something which might be the boss of all these creatures is something she cannot do on her own.
Suddenly, there was a new voice that fleeted through her ear and looking behind her in time to see the man destroy more of the creatures, she knew that it was another ally. Through his arrogant disposition, Rosa could sense a warm light emanating from him, leaving her assured that Zidane and the others would be safe even if Azalea followed her to look for the source.
"The man speaks the truth, Azalea, we must go find the source." She reasoned, beckoning the blonde girl, hoping that if they found it, they would be able to lure it out to let the whole team have at striking it down.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true][atrb=style,background-color: #EDEDED;][atrb=vAlign, top] █ The novice had kept her eye on the prize. This prize was the defeat of these creatures and the restoration of the small shred of peace in this fright filled world. The blonde had landed the attack on the couch and had quickly given herself some room in case of any retaliation. The last thing she wanted to do was get into some sort of girly pillow fight with the couch, as amusing at that might be.
Her hope filled eyes were pulled to the side at the movement of a cloaked figure. She wasn't sure exactly who was attacking the inanimate objects, but the figure and cloak seemed familiar. When he stopped she got a better view and grinned, giving the monkey-like man a thumbs up. Having the support of allies was a great feeling and knowing that one of them had offered their help was a relief. Maybe he would be as willing to help her with the rescue of the worlds.
Azalea giggled a bit to hide the tinge of nervousness in her stomach. These were the people she'd have to ask for help from. Once she corrected this time travel mistake, she would have to find allies to save the future. They had a lot to do any not a whole lot of time to do it in. The blonde moved over towards Xehanort, making sure he was alright before scanning the crowd again. They had a job to do.
Unknown to her, she was being watched by another being. The blonde was a keyblader. That much was obvious. She was bright and bubbly on the outside, but deep down there was always a bit of darkness. Her back story was a tragic affair and had been there to cast a small shadow on her heart. The difference here being that she was not letting that make her decisions. She was strong willed and with the current set of conditions, she was not going to let the darkness overtake her. There was something she had to complete and she'd do her best to keep it from taking control. Though, who knew what the future might bring to the poor keyblader.
One of her key flaws was that she was too trusting. She had the notion that every person had a bit of good that could potentially come to fruition. But she wasn't naive enough to risk her life in an attempt to rescue them from their ways. It wasn't really any of her business. She was meddling in their time and disrupting too much could be an issue.
The furniture sneaking up on Zidane made her shift, knowing she couldn't use her strike raid so soon. Though, her Barrier Surge might injure Zidane in the process. She opened her mouth to warn the thief when another man appeared and slashed at the advancing furniture. The relief appeared in her expression as she looked at the hooded man better. She couldn't tell who he was, but there seemed to be an abundance of them recently. It was quite strange. Then again, it could be the world's magic. 'Yeah, it has to be that! He's a good guy if he saved Zidane.' |
[/color] She thought naively. Ansem offered some good advice and she blinked a few times, looking at the others. "O-Oh! Maybe we should do that!" She'd gotten so worked up in this battle that she had almost forgotten they needed to push onward to find the cause. "That's a good idea! Thank you!" She blushed, rubbing the back of her head with her free hand and chuckling nervously. The vampiric newcomer moved to handle the large bed as she glanced at the group, unaware if they should just leave him there. 'Where could this be originating?' She asked herself. But, this had to wait. The keybearer could not just leave the townsfolk alone to be killed. It would be wrong if she could assist. As she moved to charge the creature, another force knocked it into the air before following with magic. Azalea was surprised, it plastered on her face as she stopped in her movement, eyes on the creature. "Wow...." She muttered, wishing she could do things like that. The man spoke up and Azalea giggled, "Not at all! We could use all the help we can get! I think we're all alright!" She responded, looking over the group as she hit a chair that was near her position with the keyblade, knocking it over. The wave of magic washed over her and Azalea spun to look for the source. A huge grin appeared as she looked at Rosa. It was protective magic like a barrier of magic. "You HAVE to teach me how to do that!" But, the white mage had other plans as she urged the keyblader to follow her. "Alright... yeah! The source..." The keyblader was also expecting the source to be a large boss or creature. Boy, would they be surprised when they found out the source was a machine. "You guys! We're going on ahead! Be careful!". Azalea moved after the blonde, looking around for a large piece of furniture or something. Her curious eyes scanning the surroundings as she gestured to noise coming from in a house. "Do you think.... in the house?" she asked, unsure whether or not they should go investigate. "Think we should?" She asked, her red eyes looking between the two before they heard angry grumbling from inside. [/div][/center][/td][td][atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=style,background-color: #EDEDED;] █ POWERS NONE USED

Jovial Prince of Thieves
The boy had been so distracted with showing off something had lunged at him from behind. His tail jumped up a bit in surprise as he turned too late against Azalea's call. That robed dude seemed to have his back. This all was really topsy turvy. He had never experienced living objects before. It was unnatural to him. The quick footed thief spun around to face the temporary savior. Though he did not trust him, he did not show any measure of discontent because his heart was set on another task altogether. He was one that lived in the present! His lip seemed to curl up in a viscous looking fashion to reveal those prominent fangs. His eyes pinched up in a grin as he motioned his dagger in a lazy salute.
"Thanks, but don't worry much 'bout me." He motioned off to a nearby lamppost. "I'll try and get up high to see if they are coming from a certain direction, if not at least I can get a scope of how many are about." He said at the suggestion of searching for the source.
The thief smirked at the man that had lent him a hand, the cheeky bastard that he was. He holstered his blades before dashing toward the post. With ease the beast-looking boy leapt off the ground and certainly showed off his monkey-like agility. He kicked up the vertical post and rushed part way up before he kicked off. His arm stretched out and he would grab the neck of the extending lamp. As he dangled, the cloaked boy really looked like a shadow in the night. His motions were smooth and precise. With a grunt he swung and hoisted his weight up.
cla-clink
His boots hit the top of the post as he made it his perch. His cloak fell over his form, swallowing his small figure. Blue eyes scanned the field before it came upon a giant! Well a giant in a grey, tattered trenchcoat. On the back of the trenchcoat was some strange coat of arms he did not recognize. As his tail hung and twitched much like the tick tock of a clock, the boy narrowed his eyes. It seems this massive beast of a man was some sort of wizard! An attack, much resembling a spell, launched from his palms as he took out one of these crazy dancing furniture.
He cupped his hand over his mouth. "Oy! Giant! Have you seen any more of these guys?!" Of course even as he yelled toward Snow, he turned his eyes toward the distance. There had to be something off, even if he could not find anything he would call down to the group of how many visible enemies were present.
What the hell was going on in this town? First off he was turned into a monster, completely unaware the magic within certain worlds forced your form, than living furniture rose like the dead coated in Mist, roaming about and attacking people. One thing was for sure, even if they could not find a source they had to crush these things and put them out of commission. He scoffed and stood tall before he placed his hands on his hips. Whatever the case... nothing to lose in lending a helping hand!
"Alley-oop!" With no concern for his own safety the boy leapt from the lamppost and pounded down on one of the beasts with a merciless dropkick, of which he would use the driving momentum to his advantage and flip backwards.
Before he landed he drew his blades from his holster and remained crouched. This was going to be fun!
"Sometimes, you can't think everything out. You have to listen to your heart."

Snow smiled as he watched the remains of the demonic furniture fall from the sky after he dealt with it. Snow did not want to tear his eyes away from the one in the Organization cloak but he had no choice but to focus on what they were all facing. As strong as Snow was, he knew for a fact that things would get out of control if he was brought to fight the one in the Organization cloak as well as help the others fight the demonic furniture. Snow thought he had seen it all; he had seen and fought gods, he has fought crazy silver haired psycho freaks, he had seen what a Keyblade can do, and he has experienced time travel. Snow has been to different worlds and he has met several different people with so many different outlooks on life. However, the situation he had found himself in was, in fact, exceedingly quirky and strange. Who would have thought that Snow, The Hero, would be fighting furniture that wanted to eat them? This was beyond weird; who was causing this?
It was then that the young blonde woman with the Keyblade told Snow that she was thankful for the help. Snow was all about helping others. The way Snow saw the world was that you must treat others the way you wish to be treated. If you saw someone that needed help and you know that if you were in that situation that you would want help, then you should help, simple as that. Although, Snow wasn't crazy about giving or showing love to the enemy. No, if you were a bad guy, then you would get the worst from Snow. Snow was one of the good guys but he was not naive, he would not be easily swayed by the baddies. In fact, he loved disrespecting the bad guys at every turn. As Snow kept his eyes on the enemies before him, Snow heard a voice from above him. It was a young man, with a monkey tail, calling him "Giant". Snow looked up in response and the young man asked him if he saw these enemies anywhere else.
"Nah, haven't seen them anywhere else, at least, I haven't seen guys like these along the road I took to get here..."
It was then that another lady, who also happened to be blonde, suggested that they find the source of this problem and stop it, lest they be here all day dealing with demonic furniture. It was a simple and effective plan in the eyes of the Hero. As Snow kept his guard up, kicking and punching any piece of furniture that made an attempt on his life, Snow gave the blonde Keyblade wielder a thumbs up before she and the other girl went ahead to find the source. Snow now knew that it was his job as well as the job of the others that were still there to hold down the fort while they went away to find the source of the problem and put a stop to this whole massacre. As Snow assisted the others by fighting off the furniture, he couldn't help but be wary of the one in the Organization cloak. Why was he helping? Snow knew of those that wore these cloaks but were on the side of the Light. Could this one be one of those guys? Snow did not know and for the life of him, he could not be bothered to ask the one in the Organization cloak because of the predicament that they were in. All Snow could do at that moment was keep an eye on him...
Powers Used:
Ruin: This is a non-elemental attack. Snow simply conjures up a medium sized ball of energy and he throws it at his opponent. Snow can throw two at a time. (Ready for use)

As Ansem stood back to back with the tailed child that had almost been attacked by the furniture, he had given his advice which the female mage had agreed with. As the woman spoke her words seemed to bring some focus to the situation at hand. The female keyblader agreed almost immediately with mage's plan, a trait which made the Heartless happy to see. The girl was trusting which played well into his hands. He could use that to his advantage and perhaps in the future have a pawn better than that cursed Riku to do his bidding. As delicious as the prize would be if it could be claimed, Ansem put planning on hold as he instead focused on simply being right here and being the good guy for the time being.
They had living furniture to clear out, something that was tedious to do, but necessary at the same time. He wanted the source to be cleared out, so that his own work would be unhindered by these trivial dangers in the worlds. It was that simple desire that allowed him to ally with the Light and find a common ground where he found it more beneficial to let the Light survive rather than reap the Hearts there. It was good choice in the end for quite a bit of warriors had come to handle the problem at hand, making it easy to see some of the fighting skills that the Light had. As he watched each carefully, the Heartless cataloged the information that he was sure would help him out in the future.
In any case, he kept his malicious nature hidden as he turned his golden eyes to glanced over his shoulder at the boy he had just saved. As the boy spoke, Ansem remained serious as he simply nodded at the boy’s salute and then words of what he was going to do next.
“A wise choice,” he said approving with the boy’s plan before turning his attention to an aggressive piece of furniture coming his way, letting the boy do whatever he wanted to do. As he focused on the furniture he felt the energies of a spell wrap around him, but did not panic since it did not harm him. Quite the contrary actually. The spell made him feel a bit stronger as if he could handle a blow from the rampaging furniture without a worry. Ah yes…he knew this spell. This was protect wasn’t it? Interesting how willingly the Light added those that they assumed were friends to their net and in turn aided them without knowing what the person or thing really was.
Smiling maliciously inwardly, Ansem moved in his position as he “saw” the keyblader and the mage begin to move from the area. Not worried about them, his attention remained on the bed that now came at him at full speed. He was prepared to attack it back for its actions; however, just as the bed was getting within striking range. A strange spell hit it and caused to shatter. On instinct, Ansem turned away from the exploding furniture using his arm to shield his head as bits of it flew here and there. A few small pieces hit him, but did not do much harm to him. As he lowered his arm and heard the man’s words, he nodded slightly his thanks before turning to attack a pair of twin chairs trying to ram him from the left and right. As he moved gracefully between the pair and shattered them to bits with his staff, he spoke to the new warrior.
“You are right on time,” he said before moving to intercept some furniture that was going after the two women that had left to investigate. As he did this, he could hear the tailed one yelling and in turn the tall one responding. The actions at first annoyed the Heartless, but in turn he forgave as the pair as the child began to give out the number of enemies in the area. Getting the count, Ansem nodded inwardly as he calculate how this could be used to their advantage as he continued to move and fight, his brown cloak flowing about him easily as he danced between the furniture and beast that continued to attack.
“Let’s try to keep them contained in this area and wipe them out. Don’t let them pursue our allies,” he said to the two males present since it would seem that the other piece of Xehanort that was here had decided to make himself hidden once more. This did not bother the Heartless one bit as he moved to knock a pair of lamps and a rocking chair back towards the center of the area as they attempted to go after the ladies once more. He was used to this sort of behavior from any of the pieces. They came, fulfilled there missions, and then moved on, never lingering to long in the area with another piece unless it was a team effort on something. It drew less suspicion this way and helped them spread their nice net even further as they moved their plans forward.
In any case, Ansem remained focused as he kept himself in a position to block off the furniture’s exit from one side. As the Heartless eyed the chaos carefully, he adjusted his strategy to keep anything trying to get around him from leaving. He could only hope the other two males would hold up their ends and not force him to do all the work.
As he watched he could see the giant in the group was at least making promising progress. _____________________________________

Rosa allowed herself a soft smile of assent as the blonde, keyblader made it known that she wanted to learn magic. Rosa walked behind Azalea as they strayed from the group, following closely to where she went, stumbling upon the house, "Do you think it'd be wise to waltz in without backup?" The mage asked, looking doubtfully at the dilapidated building. She frowned, her nerves getting the better of her as she adjusted her bow for a better grip, cold sweat coating her palms. She was not one to charge through an enemy's lair without three or more people in aid, and something so risky is new to her. She began to berate herself about experimenting high level magic, regretting this mess she landed herself into.
But it was too late to back down now.
"Let's go." She whispered, steeling herself as a groan rippled all throughout the house. She, this time, led the way to grip the knob but then she was met by force, sending her flying backwards. Thanking her protect spell that absorbed almost all damage, she whipped her head forward to warn the blonde, , "Azalea, look out!"
Before their very eyes, the house began to shake, and just like one of Cid's experiments when they were little, it began to transform before their very eyes. The windows at the second story of the two-floor house lit a sinister yellow, before spindly yet sturdy legs propped it up as it began to howl.
, "W-what is that thing?" Rosa exclaimed, standing up and pelting the house in arrows. The house began to thrash wildly, bumping against lightposts, howling in that menacing voice, its door now but a gaping hole full of mechanical teeth, snapping at them with fury.
, "Do you think this is it? Or is it also a follower?" She asked, reloading her bow as she took aim, hitting the house squarely into one of its 'eyes'

The keyblader folded her arms, shaking her head briefly. She didn't think they'd need backup to peek into a small home. If there was anything in there that dangerous they could always retreat back to the remainder of the group. But she was more offensive and the mage was more distance and a healer. The two would work out well the situation they ran into something.
Rosa finally agreed and Azalea smiled and nodded. The blonde keyblader moved quickly toward the house when she heard Rosa's warning. She paused as they were both knocked back. Azalea hit the ground, sliding back as he keyblade clattered on the ground. "Uggh..." She was back on her feet in seconds as she resummoned her weapon. Her bright eyes looked up at house as it became this mountainous monster. "Uuuuhhhh.....Maybe we need backup...." She sputtered, looking over at Rosa.
How were that supposed to fight something like this? Her mind was reeling This thing was bigger than anything she had ever fought before. She quickly attempted to cast Blind before throwing her keyblade the the face of the house, using Strike Raid.
She heard the mage's question, panicking a bit internally. Her eyes flicked back at her briefly as Azalea backed up, awaiting her keyblade to return to her hand. "....Maybe!?" She retorted, the creature making a lot of noise with it's approach.
"Do you think the others heard this thing and will come to help!?"

I want to shine
Zidane felt a grin draw itself across his features. Elongated teeth turned his usual mischievous smirk into a feel sneer. After pouncing his prey he felt the excitement of battle crawl up his spine. He had found an interesting bunch, but he was still on edge if they could be called allies or not. For now they served a similar goal. Zidane did not want these things to find their way to his home. He deduced that if he made it here: they could make it there. Stamp out the threat before it grew and spread out. His tail curled up and raised the back of his cloak a bit. Glancing down at his prey, he assured it was down for the count before he hopped off. Claw tipped digits stretched and wiggled to loosen bone and muscle alike. With a grin he would motion a thumbs up to the off-white behemoth. He was pretty impressed by the strange skills this fellow seemed to possess. From the boy's perspective it looked like monk's ki attack.
"Way ta go big guy!" He offered before lower ring his hood, revealing his sandy blonde hair. The boy's long pony tail slung over his right shoulder and seemed to slither down into the collar of his cloak.
His pupils had taken to narrow slightly in the darkness. Though it was a normal attribute of most creatures, under the world's influence it was more pronounced. The azure orbs shifted as his gaze turned toward the other fellow. They were pretty tall too, but also really quiet. Such serious atmospheres unsettled the energetic thief. He motioned his hand to the other male.
"You seem real serious, you know anything that'd be helpful fella?" His words were not in an accusatory tone, but simply curious. Silence often befell the thoughtful.
Before he could further pry on the situation at hand he heard something quite familiar. The voices of his lovely lady companions! This was no good. They had dragged off and out of sight. He looked around and reached down to his holster to unlatch his blades from their safety. Something else was bothering him, but he could not quite place the uneasy feelings. He huffed out and moved to rush toward where he had heard the commotion.
"Seems like the ladies need our aide!" The cheeky thief called out and dashed off toward the girl's direction. "Rosa!? Azalea!?" He called out as he saw the small figures in the distance, but the closer he drew to their position the reason for that bad chill became obvious.
A surprised shout escaped the fiendish thief's mouth as he drew his blades from their hold. With his clawed digits comfortably wrapped around the decorated hilts of the Mage Masher the thief took a defensive stance.
"What hell!?" His exclamation was driven by a lack of words to describe this monstrosity before him. He has seen the most, absurdly obnoxious fiends but a-- "A living building!?" This was way beyond anything he was experienced with, but there was no backing out now: the ladies were in danger!
NOTES: Rushed to the sound of damsels in distress, and drew his blades.

The herd was getting thinned out by due to the efforts of Snow and the others that were there. It was a good plan to try and find out where this strange and weird onslaught was coming from. The ladies of the group went off to find the cause of it all and stop. Them taking the initiative fired up Snow a little. Them taking the brunt of the job reminded Snow of Lightning and Fang. The one in the orange and brown hood had suggested that they keep the strange and possessed furniture occupied here. Another good plan suggested; it would be bad for business if they let the furniture follow the ladies. It would be even worse if the possessed furniture cut them off from Snow and the others. Snow nodded at the man's suggestion but not before he gave an incoming chair a power front thrust kick, effectively launching it back in pieces of Snow looked around around him to keep himself familiar with the happenings of the battlefield.
He was given congratulations by the young man with the tail. Snow couldn't really see his face until he uncovered it when he came back down to where Snow was but Snow was easy going enough on the battlefield to shoot him a thumbs up right back when he gave Snow one when he was perched up top one of the structures that was here in this strange town. However, Snow couldn't help but agree with the young man that shot him a thumbs-up. The other man did seem quite serious. Snow felt that this battle was a strange, funny one. Snow didn't really take it seriously at all. What could furniture do to people like them. Snow thought all of this to be way too weird. Lightning wouldn't have even entertained the thought of entering this battle. Snow thought that Lightning might have just walked by, knowing how harmless live angry furniture was. Snow thought the same for everyone he knew that had ever fought on the battlefield.
Snow and his friends have traded blows with the likes of gods and dinosaurs that made Snow look like an ant and have come out on top. There is no reason that Snow would be afraid of furniture that was trying to kill them, he had been through way too much for him to be afraid of anything. As Snow and the others were taking care of the last few pieces of furniture, Snow heard yells from the direction in which the ladies ran. The young man said that the ladies needed their aid and Snow couldn't agree more. Snow picked up the last piece of evil furniture, which was a chair, and smashed it against the cobblestoned ground. He then ran and followed the young man to find a house...and not just any house...a living house. Snow's eyes widened...he couldn't believe it. This place got stranger and stranger... The monstrous structure had to be put down...immediately.
"Don't worry, people, I got this!!", Snow said as he stepped to the front of the group and summoned a magic spell. He then clenched both of his fists tightly and punched the ground, using the magic spell Quake. It was a wide area attack that should, in Snow's mind, stem the potential tide that would be coming the group's way. Snow looked all around him as the platform cracked in many places before him. The ground began to shake and dirt geysers began to rise up from under the monstrosity, dealing huge Earth elemental damage.
Powers Used:
Quake: Snow will clench both fists and then punch the ground once. When this happens, the ground will shake and the earth will begin to break apart and dirt geysers will rise from the ground from under Snow's enemies, causing huge Earth-elemental damage. (3 post cooldown)

Ansem and the two remaining men stayed and fought the furniture. While the other two on the field gave encouragement to one another, Ansem remained focused on the furniture and keeping within a tight ring. Anything that tried to slip past was instantly destroyed by the Heartless's staff. As pieces of furniture flew here and there from all the fighting, Ansem stayed more or less in the clear as he performed a deadly dance between the objects that should not be alive. Despite his skills, he still ended up with bumps, bruises, and even small cuts on him. It wasn't because he lacked skills to defend himself that this happen, but rather the Heartless played his skills down. He wasn't here to reveal his hand just yet. Besides, playing the team player was quite fun considering that in the end this could benefit him and perhaps even the others. If these Light Hearts trusted him, then it would be so much easier to break them when the time came around. Granted....he needed to find a certain something before he could do that. Regardless of that little issue, he would still play friendly until it was no longer necessary to do so. In any case, Ansem remained focused on battle being the only one that seemed to take the furniture seriously. In reality, he could care less for the objects. This enemy was beneath even the lowest of Heartless, so the Heartless was not worried. He understood clearly that this situation was only the tip of the iceberg. There was probably something much worse coming for them in this situation...and probably something that would reveal itself during the women's searching for the source. The Heartless was just thinking about what the bigger threat could be as he went through the motion of destroying the furniture; however, as he cleared a path around him, the tailed boy with blonde hair (now that he had his hood down) asked him a question. Golden eyes met blue ones as the Heartless looked down at him briefly to answer his question; however, as the Heartless opened his mouth revealing the pointed fangs within his mouth, the words never came out as he heard the sounds of distress coming from the direction the women came. His head moved in the direction of the sound as the tailed boy reacted, naturally going to the women's aid. The larger man of the group followed also, but Ansem lingered behind. He waited until the pair were out of sight to unleash the tiniest bit of darkness onto this world cursed by living furniture. As he did, the Heartless were drawn into the square where they immediately took care of any straggling objects before turning golden eyes to the Hearts within town. Making sure the lower ranks did not attack his current allies, Ansem gave the area one more quick look before hurrying off to find where the others were. Locating his allies was easy enough. After all, they were freaking out about the now living house that attacked them. As his golden eyes took in the situation, he saw the ladies were reacting to the situation nicely. The keyblader was using a move similar to Sora's to attack. I was an annoying rub in the wrong direction, but one the Heartless let go easily enough as his eyes wandered to the tailed boy who was currently not attacking and then to the big man that claimed he would handle the situation. Using an impressive quake spell, the man attacked the house causing the area around the house to rock, crack and explode. The attack was so strong it even caused small tremors around the group he was in; however, the move was not enough to tear down the house completely. Despite the cracks and damaged it took, the damage "one eyed" house groaned maliciously at the group before making a counter of it own. It lifted itself slightly from the ground and then let itself drop back to the ground causing its on version of quake as it sent a shockwave at the group aiming to knock them all over. The wave washed over the area, smacking Ansem full force; however, Protect made the blow bearable. Holding his ground, Ansem used his staff for support as he drove it into the ground to regain his balance from the shaking ground. After he was sturdy once more, he released the staff as he began to move his hands in a strange way causing electrical energy to between his moving gloved hands. When the energy was gathered into a nice round ball, Ansem unleashed Lightning at the house, hoping to add onto the damage already done. With his attack done, he retrieved his staff from the spot it was embedded in and spun it around holding it at his side as he took a defensive position to see what else the house and his allies may do. ________________________ Ansem has protect on him. Duration: 1 post
Attacks used: [/u] Lightning: There is no verbal warning for this. Instead Ansem moves his hands as if he was trying to mold something into a ball. As he moves his hands quickly, a ball of electricity forms before it is ripped apart by him swinging his arms outward and down. The movement stretches the electricity and sends a horizontal line of lightning towards a target. If hit it does moderate physical damage and the shock has a 50/50 chance of paralyzing a person. And memorables!~
As much as awe inspiring a living house would seem, Rosa took a tentative step back as Azalea did a move with her weapon, watching as she retrieved the keyblade bounding back like a boomerang. The mage herself loaded her arrows at lightning speed, sinking Fire-elemental tips onto the house's exterior, a soft smile of satisfaction decorating her rosy lips as it caught fire.
The rush of footsteps behind her suggested that backup came and she moved more, enough to put distance between her and the house. After all, her arrows need momentum to really hurt. She moved back so that she's a few feet to Snow's left, watching as Zidane skidded to a halt, a curse flying out of his mouth at the sight of the house, "I know..this is so surreal." The Mage could only watch as the house let out another snarl, snapping its window-pane teeth that lined it's 'mouth' on the spot where the door should be.
Rosa looked around, noticing that they are all here, all but one. The cloaked man must have stayed behind, and it nagged at the back of her mind. Nevertheless, she focused her attention back to the house, wondering if a quick Holy would damage him greatly, especially since it seemed like a spawn of the dark.
Her thoughts were cut when Snow let out a majestic Earthquake, causing the house to topple over its spindly legs, Rosa thinking it broke them, but the wobbly attempt to get up from the fiend said otherwise. The earthquake made cracks appear on the ground as well, spanning over the area in front of them and it seemed to enrage the house because it shook, and with a bend of its legs prepared to answer with an earthquake of its own. The Protect spell took most of the brunt, but it was getting ready for another, just as a lightning bolt struck the charred house's face.
"No!" Rosa exclaimed, feeling the effects of her Protect come off but there was still something left to do. With the incantation in her mind, she put her hand up, visualizing all that were in the area, hoping she wouldn't be too late.

OOC NoteI was asked to NPC this creature, so I'll be controlling the house. Hope that's alright with everyone.
The doorway appeared to let out some strange screeches as it got hit in the 'eye' with an arrow. The window cracked, but it didn't seem to be too bothered by the arrows that stuck in its walls from the earlier attack. The house simply saw two 'snacks' for him to crush before it as it moved forward. Then a spell from the second lady suddenly caused everything to grow dark.
The moving house, despite not having real eyes, had lost its vision and its spindly legs moved a bit chaotic about as it tried to tell where it was heading. A grow from the doorway when it felt another hit against its walls, but one that was larger than an arrow. Instead of just wandering around, it figured it should start scraping everything down forward.
Then some of its legs didn't feel the ground while the others had trouble standing as the earth quaked below, shards of stone ripped into the bottom of the house before it groaned and dropped itself to the ground to perform a Quake of its own. It sent out shockwaves to deal with all added enemies as an area of effect. Then its spindly legs pushed itself off the ground again as it wandered forward before a flash of lightning hit it, still blinded from the earlier spell, it didn't exactly know where this hit came from.
The house continued forward as the damaged window cracked and broke, from the window it shot a Glass Hail at the location where it had last seen the two women. As it did this, it started to move faster forward before dropping itself and slide forward in a full out forward slam before it pushed itself backward and wandered a few steps back. CooldownsQuake: Three posts. Glass Hail: One post. DescriptionsQuake: The house dropping itself can send out shockwaves through the earth, cracking it open and splinter the earth in an attempt to damage anyone within a large range around itself. Glass Hail: Firing from its windows, when damaged. The house can spray glass at a target. If anyone's near that target, it can also damage others at melee range with the target.

It was huge and was almost straight out of Monster House. She was honestly rather impressed with this world. It was so odd and she loved how it towered over them. On the other hand, it was also quite frightening. Neither Rose nor herself were expecting a surprise such as this. The world was terrifying to begin with and a monster like this only added to the fear factor. The keyblader, thankfully, heard Zidane behind her and she flailed her arms. "We're over here, Zidane!!!" She shouted loudly over the noises.
There was a lot going on at this moment that she wasn't completely sure of. Rosa moved back with the group and spoke up, pulling the keyblader back to reality. "Yeah! It's completely surreal! Though, I still think it's pretty cool." She stated
It seemed the that the scary monkey boy was as caught off guard as they were. She smiled awkwardly before Snow stepped in with a Quake spell. It made the entire earth shake as she moved back to see if it did any damage. She was glad that Rosa had interfered with her own Float spell, however. She hadn't realized how much that attack would have affected her as Azalea hadn't backed up far enough. "Thanks, Rosa!" Ansem followed up with a Lightning spell.
This is when the house began to truly retaliate. The house dropped first, causing a quake effect. Thankfully, Rosa had covered that with her float spell. It was such an amazing power and it saved their butts from another attack. It quickly stood and moved forwards, shooting glass at the two woman. She quickly casted her Confuse Barrier knowing she wasn't close enough to effect anyone with her added effect. But the barrier was enough to shield her from the barrage.
That's when the home dropped and dashed towards them. This actually knocked Azalea back, sliding across the cobblestone street. She flinched and moved back to her feet. It didn't hurt as much as it should have because of the Protect that had now faded from her. She really owed Rosa. "Okay! Time to get serious." She huffed, quickly blowing a kiss towards the home casting Charm. She wasn't sure if it would affect the home but it was worth a try.
