"That was a completely ridiculous and asinine game."
"Oh don't be such a butt! We got a lead on who might know where that creepy octopus guy took the presents."
"We were told to find a cat in a forest. This is less of an investigation and more of a wild goose chase."
After solving the Mad Hatter's Rhyming game, with some help from a few friends, Azalea had dragged Mordred into the forest. Mordred, for his part, had been busy trying to find a way to get out of this debacle, but Azalea had stymied every attempt. Mordred had to give her credit. For a moron, she certainly knew how to throw a wrench into other people's plans.
"I like geese... ANYWAYS, we need to get those gifts so we're going to find that cat whether you like it or not!
"This is an exercise in futility. What purpose would be served in getting these presents anyways?"
Azalea tilted her head at Mordred, staring disbelieving at him. "It would make everyone happy!" Mordred continued to stare blankly at Azalea. "Uhh... we'd be helping the Mad Hatter with his party?" Still the same blank stare. "Oh COME ON! Haven't you ever heard of fun?!"
Mordred sighed. Heartbearers and their emotions. "Let's just get this over with. You're becoming a nuisance."
"Hohoho... how does a nuisance annoy a statue?"
Azalea jumped at the disembodied voice and clung to Mordred in her fright. "Eep! Help, it's going to eat me!" Mordred immediately pushed her away and brushed himself off, unperturbed by the cryptic remark.
"To solve the Hatter's game was quite the feat... but why are you helping him? Are material gifts so necessary?
Azalea got over her fright a little. "W-Well... w-we wanna help the Hatter finish his party!"
"I see... but what else makes a party I wonder?
"Stow it. Show yourself." Mordred said, in his usual blunt manner. The creature showed itself. It was the Cheshire Cat, who was lying on a tree, smiling down at the two. Azalea couldn't help herself and exclaimed, "KITTY!" Mordred sighed again, wishing to be rid of her. "Are you the one who knows where the presents are?"
"Perhaps I do or Perhaps I don't." The cat said. "It all depends on if you can solve the riddle of this quest."
Azalea beamed at the prospect of another game. Mordred stared blankly at the cat and then rubbed his forehead. "Yet another time-wasting game. Truly, this is torture."
"Hohohohohohoho... Perhaps we should start simple, then?
To those in need of food but lack the conviction to hunt perhaps this can be of some good Just some seeds and some time, to be blunt, can produce this wondrous place.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AZALEA NEEDS HELP SOLVING THE CHESHIRE CAT'S RIDDLES AND MORDRED'S TOO MUCH OF A BUTT TO HELP. HELP SOLVE THE RIDDLE TO LEARN WHERE ULTROS HAS THE PRESENTS!

Walking through the woods after being told to look for a vanishing cat, he ran into a pair with, well, a cat. Honestly, it was one of the better timings then, but then again, this could of only lead to more confusion. "We don't have to rhyme here right?" he asked to make sure, even though the cat did with his own riddle. One he gave little thought to.
"If I was to guess, the cat wants us to find a garden. No need to hunt for fruits and vegetables, but with seeds and patients, you can grow what you need. Am I right?"

All of a sudden, Rhosyn’s twin ivory fangs had peaked out over his coral-hued lips as they curled upwards into a soft, knowing grin. Meanwhile, his murky crimson eyes had narrowed in a fashion oddly reminiscent of his feline counterpart. His eyes darted from left and right uneasily as the group of party-goers trekked deeper and deeper into Wonderland’s woods in an effort to find the Cheshire Cat. Alas, Rhosyn’s initial paranoid caused him to stop and pause every few seconds, listening for a creature that had been birthed into existence by his irrational fears. However, for a split second his fear was justified as he heard the distinct crunch of a branch. Instantaneously, his head jerked upwards and he realized just how far he had fallen behind the rest of the group. His lips parted to allow a disheartened sigh to escape as he slowly lowered into a squatting position, shifting his weight to haunches before shifted his gaze to the overhanging brush. He took a moment to compose himself, inhaling deeply through his nostrils and allowing that breathe to slowly escape from between his lips before he pushed off the ground. His lithe figure was propelled upwards and his hands darted out closing around a narrow, low-hanging branch.
For a moment, Rhosyn dangled there awkwardly before bringing his legs closer to his torso while simultaneously shifting his hands further apart ever so slightly. In the time it took others to bat and eye should they turn around, Rhosyn had managed to successfully swing himself upwards and hook his bushy tail around the coarse wood. All the meanwhile, he had released his grip on the branch watched as the world was inverted before his hands came down on the top of the branch, gripping it further out on the limb. He said nothing but smiled to himself as he pushed off the limb without so much as a word and quickly moved from limb to limb, balancing himself every few jumps. By the time he had managed to close the distance with the group they had already encountered the Cheshire cat and he managed to catch the far end of the riddle. His brows knitted together in obvious perplexion. He brought his index finger to his lips and began to tap it. His initial thoughts had been taken by Douken, but that wasn’t the only answer. While a field or garden could be grown from a single seed as could the woods they were standing in.
He coughed once or twice in an effort to clear his through as well as gather his fellow party-goers attention, if only for the split second it took him to speak. “ ….. Hmm.. A forest is also grown from a single seed over time… You don’t have to be a hunter to survive either. “ |

With a laugh, the Cheshire Cat disappeared. It then reappeared on a tree branch next to Douken... sans its head, which it was standing on. Azalea uttered a shriek and actually jumped into Mordred's arms... who immediately dropped her. "Hohohohoho~ Quite correct. Now to move onto a more difficult riddle. Or perhaps it won't be. Let us see, shall we?" It put its head back on before going on to the next riddle.
"To those who may concern, I hold in my hand five cards No numbers, only faces, quite stern. Two of them rogues, or if you're generous, bards The other three cards depict persons most high But only one of them can bear most precious fruit. So I ask, with an anticipating sigh What is on the hidden card of suit?"

When the cat appeared on him, Douken did jump, but could only guess he was correct. However, what followed afterwards was yet another riddle. A trickier one at it to.
"Well, let's see. Hopefully my gambling friend can help me here. Now let's see... Two bards can possibly mean the Jokers, as the royalty belongs to the Jack, Queen, and King. But fruit? That part is throwing me for a loop. However, if you think about it, the one who bears fruit, or child, is the mother, and with cards, the mother is the Queen. As for the precious part, what most people find precious is love, usually symbolized by the heart. Which will then make my answer the Queen of Hearts."

The Cheshire Cat chuckled and teleported to another tree branch. However, this time, only his eyes and grin appeared. "Ohohohoho, a clever one we have here. This is good... but is it good enough? Well, let us see with this final riddle.
Though you have solved the first and second Your destination still eludes For the true answer continues to beckon Perhaps, if you'll allow me to intrude, some help will suffice? Two always comes after one but sometimes this is not wise For the day to be won And the presents to be taken back Perhaps a juxtaposition is in order. Change your preconceptions, logic is such a hack And then you'll find "Ultros" within our border."

Thinking for a moment, he could only guess that his answers had some relevance into this riddle's answer. Two is after one, which would of been "garden Queen of Hearts," but if it was not wise, maybe it should be switched. "Queen of Heart garden." That sounded more like a location with a person's ownership. Which in turn looks more like a hiding spot.
"The presents are hidden within the Queen of Heart's garden!"

The Cheshire Cat smiled wider, somehow. You have the feeling that a cat's cheeks aren't supposed to stretch that far. "Very clever indeed. You have the location. The rest is up to you. But I wonder... are the presents necessary? Do you need them to have a party? I wonder, indeed..." The Cat then disappeared, this time not reappearing again.
"What a waste of time. I have better things to do than to..." Mordred then felt a tug on his sleeve and was suddenly dragged in the direction of a castle.
"OFF WE GO, TO GET THE PRESENTS! TO THE QUEEN OF HEART'S GARDEN!" Azalea cried out, dragging Mordred behind him, who just crossed his arms. If he could allow himself to feel irritated by the course of events, he would've been.
