This is it!!
This is what everyone had come to see! The final fight! The last match! The time to announce either the new champion of the Olympus Coliseum or to announce the continued reign of the current champion. A Noboby versus a One Winged Angel, a Keybarer fighting against a SOLDIER. The white dressed memory witch Naminé against the crimson coated poetry quoter Genesis Rhapsodos. Each had been through punishing engagements to reach this very stage and now everything was on the line in one final bout. Lose now and walk away as second best, wasting your time and energy. Win though, and fame and glory would be yours for all time. It has not been an easy mountain to climb, for either one of the figures awaiting their moment to enter the Arena for the last time. Sephiroth, Zack Fair, Sora, Selena, Zidane, Azalea, Rosa and Whatever. Genesis and Naminé had already crossed weapons before in this tournament, with the SOLDIER First Class coming out on top. Would the same be repeated here or would the Keybarer have learned a few new tricks since their last engagement?
A very welcome rest has come Genesis' way after his last match against Sora, the Key to Everything. A hard fought victory was earned over the spiky brown haired lad and it had certainly taken a lot of energy out of the SOLDIER First Class. Even when using the Healing Fountains, Genesis still felt exhausted. Fortunately, when Phil clopped his way over to him and gave the good news, the auburn-haired champion made his way straight to an area where he could sit down and relax. Where? The waiting lobby, that's where. Since There were only three contestants remaining and two of them were going to be in the arena fighting one another, Genesis found himself alone in an empty, quite location. Of course, the quite part didn't hang around, since the audience of Naminé's and Whatever's fight were cheering as loud as they could for their favourite fighter. Still, even with the spectacular sounds roaring across the entire Coliseum, Genesis welcomed the chance to sit himself down and close his eyes, resting.
Though he didn't sleep, Genesis did think about several things. The main thought of his was where Sephiroth could have gone after their match had ended. Would it be wise to try and find him once more, or should he let his old friend go and start to worry about himself? But if he did do that, if Genesis did turn his back on Sephiroth and walk away, where would he go? What would he do? If Sephiroth was left to do what he pleased, odds were he'd eventually return to Midgar and possibly endanger everyone once more. That was something Genesis was not going to let happen, along side Cloud, Zack, Tifa, Aerith, the Turks and possibly more besides, such as Sora and Riku. It seemed that Genesis' journey would continue to take him after The Chosen One for the time being. Pity. There were so many worlds out there that Genesis wanted to explore, but the threat that Sephiroth carried in his wake was just too great to ignore. Sure, Cloud and Zack were capable of taking Sephiroth on, Angeal too perhaps, but the chances that all of them would kill The One Winged Angel was also too great a risk for Genesis to ignore.
Minutes, maybe hours passed, but at some point during the Crimson SOLDIER's thoughts, he must had fallen asleep, for the next thing he knew, Phil was beside him shaking his arm to try and wake him up. "Hey, Champ!! Wake up! Your next match is about to start!!" Slowly opening his eyes, Genesis sat up and raised his arms into the air over his head, stretching his body that caused his back to arch slightly. He yawned while doing this and then allowed his arms to flop down to his sides. Tilting his head from side to side, Genesis cracked his neck and then brought his right hand up to rub his eyes a couple of times. "This ain't the time to be catching up on ya beauty sleep, kid! You're needed out there in the arena, kicking some butt!!" The Crimson Champion looked down at the chubby satyr at his feet and just gave the little guy a soft smile as he pressed his hands down on the bench either side of him and stood up. "Who won out of Whatever and Naminé?" Genesis asked as he rotated his arms around himself a couple of times to get the blood flowing back into his fingers. "That little girl Naminé won. She's either got a lot of skill or a lot of luck! Anyway kid, I got two words for ya: Best of luck!"
Genesis raised an eyebrow at the 'two words' he was given and then shook his head from side to side subtly and chuckled to himself under his breath. Turning away from Phil, the auburn-haired man made his way across the waiting lobby to where the gate leading to the arena was located. After getting there, Genesis crossed his arms before his chest and looked towards the ground for a moment, listening to the cheers of the growing audience as they piled into the arena to find their seats for the last match of the Cerberus Cup. While this happened, Genesis pondered back to his last fight with Naminé and recalled some of the attacks she used back then. Could she have learned anything new since then? Was she still unable to fly and give Genesis the advantage when in the air? Or would she be expecting that from their last match? it was clear that the Crimson SOLDIER was going to have to mix things up a little in this fight. Maybe use a few moves no one has seen before...
The tightening of metal chains from overhead indicated that everything was ready and the final match was about to begin. As the chains rattled the wood creaking of the gate followed and slowly started to raise up, allowing the fiery light of the cauldrons dotted about the arena to light up Genesis' feet, then his legs and finally his arms and torso with his head being last. Smiling at the magnificent roar his fans gave him, the Crimson SOLDIER walked forth out of his waiting area and made his way out into the middle of the arena, waving to the audience as he proceeded there. Nothing beat the excitement, the adrenaline rush, the electricity within your body, of being in the final match of a tournament. Was Naminé going to feel the same thing or would her mind be solely focused on the upcoming fight? Whatever the case, Genesis decided to get himself ready before she came out herself. Picking his right arm up and holding it out before him, a stream of flame spurted from his open palm, from which he pulled free his iconic Rapier, slashing it before him to disperse the flames.
Now he was ready. Now the final round could begin!

Cheers erupted at the end of the battle between the Heartless and the Nobody. Naminé was actually happy at the end. This fight was funny and she was even more happy they she didn’t feel like Whatever was trying to kill her. The two did their best and a few short hours they would know who would be facing the champ, Genesis, in the final battle. Naminé shook hands with Whatever and pulled him in to a hug. She smiled at the boy before skipping off and dashing towards Megara that was waiting for her at the gates.
The two met and Naminé wrapped her arms around the other girl’s thin waist. “Whoa! Easy there Blondie.” She said as she was nearly knocked to the ground. Regardless the two girls shared an embrace. “Come on. I will treat you to something. Anything you want while we wait for the results.” Meg and Naminé want off towards the snack stands. The memory witch picked….what else…..Sea Salt Ice Cream. The Nobody couldn’t help but feel happy. It was like something was fluttering inside her chest.
By the time to girls got back from their escapades the names of the two finalists were posted. Naminé stared at her own name on the board. She had managed to make it. She was going to face off against…against…Genesis. Now it felt like something inside her fell. She was scared. Naminé backed away as Meg turned to her happy for her success. :Hey…what is wrong?” She asked.
Naminé shook her head and her hand went up to her shoulder. Meg frowned slightly. “You made it this far and you managed to make the fight fun again. I don’t think Genesis meant to hurt you.” She added looking the Nobody directally in the eyes. “He seemed upset about the whole thing when he brought you back the last time.” She explained to her companion. “Maybe he is fighting his demands too and he needs a light to guide him. There is only one way to find out and that means you will have to be face to face with him.?
Naminé let out a sigh. “I think I am scared. Is that what this feeling is?” She placed her hand to here chest and looked down. “What he did….it hurt…But I don’t think it was the pain that scared me. I….” She paused. “I am scared because I feel that I let him down. Maybe it is just me….But I feel like the stab was in more of anger then anything.” Tears started to stream down her face. “Every time I let someone down….they do things out of anger.”
Meg twisted her face up in thought before placing her hand on Naminé’s and bring it way from her chest. “I see. You admire him a lot. And this is just a guess but you probably have had a lot of people that you admired and have abandoned or betrayed you.” The Greek girl knelt down so she could be at Naminé’s eye level. “If that is how you feel then you should take it up with him. This is your second chance and you shouldn’t keep your emotions bottled up like this. Let your heart sore and you will reach new heights. Heroes are born every day. But they aren’t considered true heroes until they use their hearts.”
“I don’t have a heart.” Naminé exclaimed. “I am a Nobody and we don’t have them.”
“Every living thing has a heart.” Meg said without a moment hesitation. “If you didn’t…you wouldn’t be alive and standing here right now. It isn’t that you don’t have a heart. It is just that you forgot how to use it. And you are crying now. You can’t do that if there was now heart inside of you.” Meg stood up. “Give it a try. You only disappoint people when you don’t try. Go get’em Wonder Girl.” And without even waiting for a rebuttal, Meg pushed Naminé out of the tent to face her opponent.
Naminé walked up to the stage and saw the crimson man summon his weapon. She took a deep breath as she looked upon the weapon that had stabbed her. She walked up to the roar of the crowd but her fear blocked them out. She stood there on the stage staring. She closed her eyes and to a few deep breaths. “Make this fun, confront him, and let my heart sore.” Naminé was reiteration everything that Meg had told her since her first battle with Genesis. She raised her arm and Destiny’s Embrace appeared. “I-I-I am sorry.” She spoke in a voice that was broken with fear and regret. “I will try harder this time.. Good luck.” She got into her battle stance. “Champion’s move first.”
(OOC- Sorry I was going to have Naminé make the first move but I just couldn’t see her doing that especial when she is scared for two reasons.

The Crimson Champion watched in silence as his small opponent made her way to the arena, climbing the steps and proceeding to walk out in front of all these fans without a hint of hesitation. It seemed that being in front of such a large gathering of people did not faze the young woman, but it was as clear as reading an open book that the memory witch was frightened about something. Naminé had large, beautiful eyes yet there was definite fear showing through them with each step she took closer towards the auburn-haired man. Curious that such fear could be seen in her when it was apparent Nobody's were unable to experience emotions. Fear was an emotion. Even the little blonde girls voice was shaking as she spoke up and apologized for not trying hard enough in their last match. Quite the opposite in fact. She had played very smartly during their last battle and Genesis was sure that if she continued to force the Crimson SOLDIER's attacks to hit himself over the course of their last fight, this final match would have another contender instead of the two times champion.
Genesis brought his eyes up off of Naminé and he glanced over towards the tent of which she had emerged. A beautiful woman with long brown hair cascading down her back and wearing a purple, tight dress, was staring back at the LOVELESS Quoter. She quickly disappeared back into the tent which caused the SOLDIER First Class to look back at his opponent. Something didn't feel right about this situation... Naminé must have had every chance she wanted to back down and not bother with this fight, yet here she was, determined and motivated to do her best once more. But she was terrified. Was it the fact that Genesis had run her shoulder through with his sword, and that if he had adjusted his aim slightly, it may have hit her neck or chest, possibly killing her? Was Naminé scared because of that, or was it something more? Leather creaked as the Crimson SOLDIER moved, his coat flowing out behind him as he stepped forwards, yet his Rapier was not in an attacking position. Instead, Genesis walked forth until he was standing before the small girl in the white dress, his eyes glowing brightly as he peered down at her small, fragile form.
"This is no good." Genesis spoke up, his face holding no emotion, his eyes watching Naminé as if she were the last scrap of meat on a bone and he were a hungry, hungry hyena. However, instead of grabbing her and biting into her arm, Genesis knelt down and placed his Rapier on the floor beside him. Being careful not to take his eye out on Naminé's keyblade, Genesis brought his gloved hands up and placed them about the memory witch's hands, holding them carefully but kindly. Even kneeling down, Genesis still was taller then the memory witch, but he kept hold of her hands within his crimson gloves and allowed his face and eyes to soften as he gave her a smile. "You can't fight me while you're so tense. You'll make mistakes and a repeat of last time might happen again. You know in your mind that you can defeat me, but you made a crucial mistake last time... One you're going to repeat today." Genesis spoke softly, calmly, poetically and he smiled throughout to try and reassure the young woman before him that he wasn't upset, not angry at her. Smiling brighter at her, Genesis let go of her hands and picked up his Rapier, standing back up to full height where he looked down at her.
"You forgot to breathe, Naminé."
Obviously this meant more then being an obvious statement. If Naminé truly didn't breath, she'd have fallen unconscious during their last match. No, it held a deeper meaning then that. It basically meant that you should not worry about anything. Don't be tense, don't be scared, don't think about winning or losing or getting hurt. Keep your mind free and relaxed and you'll have a much greater chance of coming out on top in a lot of situations. Another smiling came from the lips of the Crimson SOLIDER as he watched Naminé from over his shoulder as he turned his back on her and took a few paces away back to his original position. Here, he threw his left arm out to his side and summoned his Angel Wing from his back causing jet black feathers to fall down to the arena floor, only to be gathered up by the passing wind and whisked off on an eternal journey through the skies. Loosely tucking the large wing behind him, Genesis turned about and locked his eyes back onto the white-dressed girl where his smile vanished and a more serious expression took over.
The cheers of the crowd were as deafening as always, perhaps more so now during the final round. Waiting only a couple of seconds that felt more like several minutes, Genesis suddenly dashed forwards towards Naminé, his wing increasing his speed and causing him to almost 'glide' across the arena floor. He was upon the young woman in an instant and with his Rapier held up over his head, he brought the long, thin sword down in a heavy vertical strike, aiming to cleave the memory witch in half if she didn't dodge or block the strike. Regardless of what his opponent did, Genesis then jumped backwards a few feet and repeated the same attack, beating his wing this time to give him further increased movement speed for just a moment. Upon striking though, Genesis took hold of his Rapier in both hands to increase the power of his strike, once more bringing the sword down vertically towards Naminé's head.
Let the fun begin!
------------------------------------------------------------ DamageNone. Actions1. Genesis summoned his Angel Wing. 2. Genesis ran forth and attacked Naminé with a vertical overhead strike. 3. Leaping backwards, Genesis repeated his last attack, this time using his wing and both hands to increase his speed and power. Cool DownsNone.

As Genesis first spoke Naminé lowered her weapon and blinked a few times. He walked towards her and she found that she was paralyzed to the spot. Why was he looking at her like? He was going to murder her and she was just standing there. That was some of the things running through her head as his cold start pierced the young girl. However, her weapon fell completely to her side as he grabbed her hand. It wasn’t forceful or angry at all. It was kind. Once he gave her that smile a rush of relief ran over her. She relaxed a bit and could feel the cool leather of his glove upon her bare hand.
Naminé listened to the man. Is words slid over her like a song. Everything he said seemed to have a rhythm to it. His actions and words told Naminé that he wasn’t angry with her and that she had nothing to fear. She nodded to him as he let her go. The memory witch always blamed herself when people weren’t satisfied. She was just a walking pity party. This was the moment that she could prove that she was something more then she appeared in more than one way and this whole time she had been acting in the way everyone expected her too…a scared little girl that uses being a Nobody as an excuse.
Genesis walked back to his spot, smiled at her over his shoulder, and his wing was summoned. Naminé closed her eyes before he turned around. She took another deep breath. Instead of getting into her one handed stance; she took Sora’s battle stance. Her legs came apart and formed a triangle between them and the ground. Her knees were slightly bent, and both hand held the hilt of her blade as the blade rose from its downward position. She could feel it again, that strange fluttering in her chest.
Her eyes came open and Genesis had turned around. He dashed towards her with is wing helping him move faster. His arms came up and so did hers. Her blade too was up over her head. He brought his blade down upon her and Destiny’s Embrace met his blade in the same fashion. The two metals clashed and sounded throughout the stadium even with the roar of the crowd.
The vibration and impact made Naminé’s knees bend more from sheer force. He jumped back and Naminé didn’t even have time to look at him to see what he was doing nor lower her weapon before he attacked again with the same attack. Both of his hand on the Rapier this time caused Destiny’s Embrace to lower closer to her head. So in order to give her self a stronger handle on this she took her left hand and with her palm on the side of her blade that the Rapier wasn’t making contacted with she slid her hand up the pole of her own blade and then gripped it at the base beneath the teeth while her right hand remanded holding the hilt.
She knew she had to get out from under the ex-SOLIDER that toward over her. Since Genesis blade was long and she still didn’t want it cutting into her, she arched her back so she would start to lean backwards. Her blade would slide up Genesis’ blade as she did so. Once she was bent back a little she would bring her left foot up and aim her kick directly into the area where the two belts that wrapped around his stomach were. She knew if she kicked any higher she would just kick the arm plate that seemed to be covering his abs….atleast it looked like a black armor plate of some kind to her. And if she aimed her kick any lower…well…..even she wasn’t that heartless. So instead the kick was focused on the belts. If it made contact it would force the buckles of the belts to be kicked into the pelvis area and with any luck would make him double over….or if she was really lucky her kick may even make him stumble back a bit. Either way she was hoping to get out from under him.
Actions 1. blocking first attack by mimicking the moves and having the two blades meet 2. Blocking next attack since blade is still in position, move hand to a different place on blade to give more leverage. 3. Front kick into Genesis’s pelvis in attempt to get out from under him.

By time Genesis had turned around to look upon the girl in the white dress, she had already become a 'different person', so to speak. She seemed much more relaxed and there was a new, fresh aura about her that felt so reassuring to the Crimson SOLDIER. It still didn't bring him much joy that he was having to fight against this young woman for a second time in the same tournament, not out of fear of losing, but out of fear of hurting her, just like last time. Hopefully though, if the memory witch played smartly, a repeat of last time should not happen again. Mind you... this WAS this final round... Should Genesis go with everything he's got and have a chance of being crowned continued champion? Or should he back off a little and see what Naminé has planned and possibly allow her to take the title? That's what it was all about at the end of the day... To Genesis at least. He knew he could fight, he knew he was strong, he knew he didn't have anything to prove to anyone. His previous two victories here at the Coliseum told that story.
But this little girl before him. What was she doing here? What she was fighting for? What was she trying to prove? Was it a test of strength? Courage? Ability? Or was she just entering this for the fun of it? Mere amusement? Was she looking for someone and entering this might help her quest? Did she want to get stronger? Experience what it feels like to be in a battle? Did she want to just simply live her life and this was one of the things on her list she could now cross off? There wasn't much point in thinking about it any further. It was too late at stop and ask her his thoughts and instead such questions would need to wait until the tournament had ended and everyone had gone home. For the time being, all attention had to be spent on the last fight of the tournament.
The crowd erupted into cheer as the match got under way, Genesis' double strike creating sparks as Rapier slammed into Keyblade. The sparks danced through the air and continued to hop upon the floor a couple times before extinguishing themselves in small 'hisses'. The first vertical blow was blocked with a solid standing, Naminé watching her opponent carefully and mimicking Genesis' stance to appropriately defend herself, though the second block seemed more blind luck on the young woman's part, for she hadn't moved from her current position. Maybe she closed her eyes for a second when the sparks flew off the metallic weapons smashing against one another? The Crimson SOLDIER's two-handed grip was more effective then his prior attack, feeling Naminé's legs bend slightly under the force of his strength, yet it was not enough to score him the first hit in the round. That honour went to the memory witch instead.
Due to how much Genesis stood over the young woman before him, Naminé's kick had to reach pretty high for her to strike her target, though her legs were longer then what they seemed and after a solid impact, Genesis found himself stumbled back a few paces more out of surprise then from pain. The double belts wrapped about his stomach were pretty durable and so took a portion of the blow from Naminé's kick. There was nothing in the rules about fighting dirty and if the memory witch had aimed her kick lower, she'd have a significant advantage right about now. Perhaps that was her intention and she got her aim wrong? The fans of both contestants cheered loudly, half backing Naminé to keep up the attack and the other half rooting for Genesis to catch his balance and counter attack. Of course, due to the number of people in the stands, it was all just a blur of sound coming from every direction.
Taking about three steps back from Naminé's kick, Genesis' left hand fell from the handle of his Rapier and went to his stomach, his fingers softly caressing the spot where he had been hit. His glowing eyes flashed brightly for a second as he smirked at the blonde-haired girl before him. Not bad. She obviously was well aware of the danger Genesis posed when he was in close proximity, but keeping him at range was not too smart a plan either. Whether it was his swordsmanship capabilities or his magical knowledge, the auburn-haired man was able to fight at any distance. The kick might have been out of fear of being stabbed by the long, slender Rapier once more? Who knew? But it was going to be fun to see what else the young woman had in store. With a smirk still spread across his lips, Genesis swiftly beat his wing and homed in on little Naminé quickly.
Drawing near, the SOLDIER First Class suddenly turned his back on the memory witch as he span about in a 360 degree circle to the left, throwing his Rapier out in a fast horizontal strike to Naminé's right thigh. Whether blocked or the blow landed, Genesis continued his improvised combo attack, spinning about 360 degrees to the right this time. Upon turning to face the young memory witch, the crimson Rapier was once more flicked out in a fast horizontal strike, this one aimed higher towards Naminé's left shoulder. With a flex of his legs, the Crimson SOLDIER then jumped into the air in a half somersault, flipping himself up and over Naminé to try and take her back. While in mid air, he threw out the third and final strike of his little combo, aiming a vertical slash across the top of Naminé's blonde head. As soon as his leather boots hit solid ground from his jump, Genesis took a jump backwards to open the gap between himself and the Keybarer. Here he brought up his left hand to eye level where he flexed his fingers open for a second, closing them into a tight fist a moment later, as if he were casting a spell.
Nothing seemed to happen though for the first couple of seconds and after giving the memory witch a coy smirk, the Winged SOLDIER suddenly vanished into a cluster of black feathers, disappearing from sight completely. Having used Angel Wing Teleportation
[/b], Genesis had transported himself back to his starting position behind little Naminé if she had turned around, or back in front of her if she didn't. However, through the feathers left behind by his teleport, four purple spectral Rapiers suddenly quickly shot out in the form of Genesis' Magic Sword[/b] spell. All four Magic Swords were aimed for the memory witch, though should they hit her, the weapons would slice into here as if actual swords but then disappear an instant later. Now the Crimson Commander waited and watched and to see how his opponent would handle this situation. [/blockquote] ------------------------------------------------------------ DamageSubtle sting in stomach. Actions1. Genesis performed a three hit combo: a spinning horizontal strike to Naminé's right thigh. A spinning horizontal strike to Naminé's left shoulder. A leaping vertical strike to the top of Naminé's head. 2. Genesis cast Magic Sword behind him, all four blades aimed for Naminé. 3. Genesis used Angel Wing Teleportation to avoid his own spell and hide his Magic Sword spell with the feathers created from the teleport. Cool DownsMagic Sword[/b] - 3 Posts -- Lifting his left arm up and clenching his fingers into a tight fist, Genesis can summon four spectral Rapiers, all glowing a bright red as if they were Imbued. Each Rapier will fly through the air with swift speed towards the target opponent, attempting to strike or even impale them. Having mastered a couple new ways to cast this spell, Genesis can either go the classic style of having the four spectral swords appear around the target which then try and stab into the enemy, or have them all appear behind Genesis himself which then shoot out directly towards the target. The spectral Rapiers travel with fast speed and will cause Medium damage to anyone struck with one. All four blades will vanish into nothingness several seconds after being summoned. Angel Wing Teleportation[/b] - 2 Posts -- Usable only when his wing is summoned, Genesis has learned the ability to teleport himself across short distances. A flurry of feathers will suddenly appear before the Crimson SOLDIER, swallowing him up instantly. A moment later and Genesis reappears from a similar cluster of black feathers up to 10 meters away in any direction. It makes for an excellent technique to dodging last minute attacks as well as allowing him to instantly close the gap between himself and his opponent, striking out at them without warning.

Naminé’s kick had hit its mark, however, she wasn’t about to end it there. As her leg fell back to the ground and Genesis stumbled backwards and attempted to recover as he did, Naminé spun around with her Keyblade once so she could give her next attack more momentum. 3/4ths through the spin the blades tip began to glow. Once the spin was finished Destiny’s Embrace unleashed the Fire spell upon her opponent.
The Keyblade seemed to have been taking over Naminé’s moments. It was like she was connected with it somehow. Now that she thought about…when the Keyblade went to Sora, or anyone for that matter, most of them didn’t know how to cast magic or actually fight. It wasn’t until they inherited the weapon did they all of the sudden know how to so what they did. What were the Keyblades and what was the power they held over their wielders? Was it the Keybladers that wielded the Keyblades…..or was it the Blades that wielder the Bladers? What would happen if the Wielder allowed the weapon to have complete control over them? There was only one way to find out.
Genesis came upon her as swiftly as a bird on its pray. He spun around and his blade being held low have the young girl the height that he might strike at. If she was wrong then she would be cut into yet again. So Naminé once again mimicked his movement to try to counter him. She held her blade diagonally from her mid section with the teeth facing down and spun the opposite way. The two blades once again clashed. Genesis began his turn the other way and Naminé followed yet again heading in the opposite direction in an attempt to meet blades, however, by the time she had gotten around Genesis blade had moved upward and stuck at her left shoulder.
“Gah!” Naminé cried out as once again the Rapier cut into her left shoulder. She wanted to fall and hold her shoulder but she grit her teeth and closed the left eye in pain. She legs felt weak from the pain but the adrenaline kicked in from being it there again for the second time by this weapon. She knew she had to keep going and finish the combo dance that she started with the Crimson man as he now was flipping over her. This mean that he would end up behind her….so with her right arm she heaved the Keyblade over her head so that the hilt was just above her head and the blade laid horizontally. She felt his blade hit hers. Though her Keyblade stopped the teeth of the Rapier from sinking in to her head, the pole of her own weapon hit her in the back of the head as it attempted to fend off the Rapier.
Naminé shook it off and found herself running forward away from Genesis. She brought her Key back to her front and stopped and turned around. She spun the weapon and the tip once again began to glow and have several circle ribbons of light surround the tip. She then stopped the spinning and thrust the blade into the air and a beam of light shot up into the sky. She lowered her weapon and her left arm, though in pain raised to her side so that her hand was at shoulder length. All of the sudden 10 key white keys the length of the Keyblade came souring down from the sky where the beam once was. They followed each other in a straight line before turning vertically and setting themselves side by side across her back like wings. She was then hovering in the air as “Angel in Flight” kept her in the sky.
Naturally there was no time to ponder what just happened because she now found that Genesis was once again in front of her. This caused a shock since she wasn’t sure how he did it. His smirk told her that something was about to come her way and it was too late to move….or figure out how to move in flight. 4 Rapiers hit Naminé like she was a voodoo doll and then vanished with only the wounds in her flesh to prove that they existed. She fell to the floor from her hover. She gasped for in pain as she looked down at the hilt of her Keyblade. She had to do something. She had to attack. She couldn’t keep blocking. Something told her that she was going to have to take a few hits herself if she wanted a chance to attack more as well. Though in pain, Naminé clenched the hilt of her blade. The keys on her back rose up in the air and the memory witch was lifted from her fallen position back into a hover.
“It would seem that the wings act on will and thought.” Naminé thought to herself. She wanted to keep fighting and the wings lifted her up again so that she could. “Right. Looks like the rest is up to me. Things just got interesting.”
Action 1. Fire cast at Genesis 2. Counter with Combo of 360 spin to meet blade to blade. Another 360 spin to meet blade to blade (even though failed), and placing blade above head. 3. “Angel in Flight” Keyblade ride. (Not sure this counts because it is just a weapon summon…but better safe then sorry)
Cooldowns Fire- 0/1
Keyblade Ride- Angels in Flight: 10 white Keyblades with black designs and a red orb in the middle of the handles attach themselves to Naminé’s back like a pair of wing giving her the ability to fly and attack from the air. (Flight mode: Passive)
Fire: A Fire ball bursts from the tip of Keyblade at the target. [Cooldown-one post]

While the crowd here to watch the final round continued to cheer and roar in excitement and amazement, none of the sounds they made were able tor each the Crimson SOLDIER's ears. He had chosen to block out all other sounds other then his own and those that his opponent made. Of course, the cheers and chants of the audience were still there, it was simply a matter of mind power to block them out and refuse to hear them. Having your adrenaline pumping and focusing solely on your opponent helped to achieve this. It made the fight a little easier, for it was clearly to hear what your opponent was doing, where they were standing, how they were attacking. It didn't always work though, but when it did, it was pretty useful. As such, Genesis' eyes continued to glow brightly as he watched his smaller, female friend do her best to protect herself from more of the SOLDIER First Class' attacks.
Naminé was actually doing pretty well, learning to match the movements the Crimson SOLDIER did and plan out her own attacks to hit Genesis' Rapier and deny him the chance of scoring more hits. She did it with the previous two attacks and managed to do the same on a third strike. The follow up struck home though, the same shoulder he had penetrated in their last encounter, but the young woman bore the pain and she continued to push onward. This brought a smile to Genesis' lips. He was glad to see her trying her hardest, though he got the strange impression she was holding back this time. It was unclear as to why he thought this, but something in the back of the SOLDIER's mind was telling him not to let his guard down at all during this final fight. Ironically, as Naminé scampered away from the LOVELESS Quoter, Genesis felt a stronger sting come from his stomach, enough so that it caused him to glance down and observe what was wrong. He knew he had been kicked there earlier, since it was how the Memory Witch was able to escape him... but when did he set himself on fire?
Smoke wafted away from the double belts he wore around his waist, his black under shirt burnt through to reveal his stomach and part of his chest. The edges of his crimson coat around his stomach were also melted slightly and blacked from the burns. Glowing blue eyes watched curiously as the double belts he wore finally gave away and snapped from the attacks they had taken, falling to the arena floor with a thud and metallic tinkle as the buckle bounced a couples of times. There was no time to figure out what happened as a flash of light came from before him and forced the SOLDIER First Class to shield his eyes from the young woman in the white dress. Peaking through the gaps between his gloved fingers, Genesis noticed that Naminé had thrust her Keyblade into the sky and summoned a beam of bright light from above... or she had shot it up out of her Keyblade... He wasn't watching so he didn't know. Talk about not letting your guard down. Genesis thought to himself as he continued to watch was what happening. A moment passed and several more Keyblades fall from the sky, the beam of light vanishing as they came down. This allowed Genesis to lower his arm and observe his opponent more carefully.
One, two, three.... ten?! Plus the one she's holding so eleven. Eleven Keyblades?! That's too much... Do they all posses the same amount of power as normal Keyblades? The Crimson SOLDIER thought to himself as his right hand slowly gripped tighter about the bird-like decoration of his Rapier's handle. His mako-infused eyes watched closely as the several keyblades all hovered behind the Memory Witch's back as if they were make-shift wings. She was even hovering off the ground herself, so had she gained the ability to fly too? The look on her face told the Crimson SOLDIER that she was as new to this experience as Genesis himself was... so taking the battle to the sky might still work in the auburn-haired man's favour. For the time being though, it would be better of staying on the ground so he could see what this new... transformation?... of Naminé's could do. This was brand new to Genesis, something he had never laid his eyes on before, so anything could happen now. He had to remain even more so on guard then before.
When his Magic Sword spell struck it's target, the Crimson SOLDIER didn't take advantage. Instead he watched and observed Naminé falling to the ground, only to watch her get back up to her feet and then retain her hover shortly afterwards. If she could attack with those things on her back, then her range was surely to increase several fold. However, if she did attack with her extra keyblades, would that negate her ability to fly as well? This was very interesting and while the desire to jump in head first was overwhelming, the risks were too great in this final match of the tournament. No, Genesis had to play it carefully for the time being until he could figure out the extent of the Memory Witches new powers. "Alright... lets see how you handle this." Genesis said aloud as he flexed his single black wing and used it's beat to propel himself backwards several feet away from his opponent.
Upon landing on the arena floor, Genesis narrowed his eyes from their curious expression and became much more serious for the moment. Leather material creaked as the SOLDIER First Class brought his right arm up, his hand still clenched tightly about his Rapier. Raising his arm further till the point he held the slender weapon vertically over his head, a flash of light shot from the tip of the Rapier and exploded in the sky about 20 feet above the Crimson SOLDIER. A large, intricate rune appeared in the sky, text spread about it's pattern revealing the final verse of LOVELESS. A wind seemed to grow about the SOLDIER as he begun gathering power into his spell when all of a sudden, the entire rune tilted within the sky and ended up facing Naminé. The spell was known as Apocalypse
[/b] and it was possibly one of Genesis' most powerful spells. A flash of light engulfed the rune within the sky that caused several bolts of energy to start raining down upon the arena, specifically aimed at Naminé's location. After a couple of seconds, the spell ended with a bright flash of light that erased the rune from the sky and caused the wind to die down and return everything to normal. Lets see what happened now. After gathering some energy into his Rapier for a couple of seconds, Genesis thrusts his sword into the air above his head which creates a series of crimson and red runes to start forming within the air covering a large space above his head. The runes then start to glow brightly before numerous powerful bolts of energy are rained down towards the unfortunate opponent. A flash of light ends the spell, removing the runes from the sky as well.

Yet another light beam was casted into the sky, this time by Genesis. “This can’t be good." She thought as she lowered herself to the arena floor. She looked at in front of her then back at the sky. Genesis had a series of strong magical attack that the Memory Witch could only dream of and by the looks of it this one was a one of or even his strongest attacks. She didn’t know if she should detest him or feel honored that he was casting this spell. Maybe she was more of a threat to him then she thought if she gotten him to use such a strong attack.
The winds were building from that thing in the sky. However, Naminé wasn’t going to go down without a fight. There was nothing in her arsenal that could fend off such a powerful force. She could try to attack the lettering was starting to take up the sky but it was too massive. Zeus himself was probably looking down from Mount Olympus at this thing thinking “Holy Hera!” And in the end it might not stop it.
“Time to see what you can do.” She said to her wing behind her. She whipped her hand forward like cracking an invisible whip in Genesis direction. Just as the last word in the LOVELESS poem was formed, the Blades flew off her back once again in the chain and honed in on the Crimson SOLDIER. Chain of Memory snaked it way to its victim in an attempted of for each bladed to slice into him.
In the mean time the lighting ran down from the sky and head straight for the blonde Nobody. She placed her Destiny’s Embrace over her head to protect her from some of the spell. Her teeth clenched as she could feel the electricity coursing through her. Her entire body, both in and out, felt like it was on fire. The Lighting entered her from all sides and exited through the wound on her left arm. She ceased as the bolts made their round thought her. Tears ran down her face and the arena floor crumbled below her and exploded from the bolts hitting it as well.
The lighting stopped and Naminé found herself once again on the ground. She pushed her upper body up. Little bolt of lightning would appear on her clothes, Skin, and hair. They would zap and then fade away. Finally they too even settled. Naminé took beep even breaths in and out. The pain soon lessened. Maybe it was the grace of Zeus that allowed her to live through that….or maybe it was her one sheer will.
Her wings returned to her and she didn’t bother to notice if they caused damage to Genesis or not. Naminé knew she had to keep going. She could do this. She looked for the man that she was fighting while still staying in her position on the ground. Once she found him, if their eyes met, he would notice that her suggested Blue eyes would flicker and look more violet. She would snap her fingers and a white flower would attempt to encase the man. Most would think that she was going to erase the man’s memories but this time…the white lotus flower had a different goal.
“Genesis?” Was all that Naminé would say. She stayed put on the ground. If her spell, Memory Implant, was to work his feelings for her would change. He would be tempted to help her up.
Dice roll [#@rand#=9.252538331676085%@]
Actions 1. Attempted to use Keyblade to block some of the damage caused by Apocalypse 2. Chain of Memory is used to attack Genesis before Apocalypse’s strikes Naminé (see dice roll and Power description) 3. Memory Implant is used on Genesis in attempted to change his feeling about using his attack and make him want to come over and help her up. (see dice roll and Power description)
Memory Implant: Has the same visual as Instant Amnesia with the flower encasing the enemy. Just as Naminé is able to take a memory away; in battle she is able to implant a false memory to make you believe that she is you ally and has always been so. It is similar to the charm spell. Warning: Objects on you may change to fit the false memory.
(I will use the dice roll (/rand) Odds are hits. Evens are misses. If for any reason this is used in the same post as Chain of Memory, one dice will be rolled and the number will affect both of them)
[Duration:1 Posts. This is how long the effect takes place before it wears off and you are back to normal.] [Cooldown: 3 posts]
Chain of Memory: Naminé troughs one of her arms forward like she is cracking a whip. All 10 blades detach from her back each flying behind on another like a snake slithering in the air. They hone in on the Target and hit it one after the other until the chain is complete sending the target skyward for each hit. (All the blades don’t have to hit), then the return to Naminé’s back. (If done in the air Naminé is in free fall till the blades return. Attack can be done on the ground as well but she cannot fly during this point until the wings return.)
I will roll the dice to see how many blades hit. Evens Hit, taking the last digit of the number and that is how many blades hit, Example: Rolls 16 so 6 blades hit or rolls 2 only two blades hit the same goes for 12 only 2 blades hit. 0 is all 10 blades hit. Odds are misses.
(Cooldown: 4 posts)
Cooldowns Fire 1/1 (Usable) Memory Implant 0/3 Chain of Memory 0/4
*Please note that either Memory Implant will hit or Chain of Memory will it since on is Hitting on Evens and One is hitting on odds*

The battle seemed to be going pretty well. Naminé was forced onto the defensive from the onslaught of attacks that Genesis had sent her way, yet she was doing a very admirable job of keeping herself protected and allowing her opportunities to counter attack and continue fighting. Oddly though, she didn't take some of the chances that were offered to her. Was she waiting for something perhaps? Building up her strength to try and unleash an ultimate attack or use her Limit Break perhaps? Not many people had access to their Limit Breaks, as the name suggests, you have to reach your limit and then go beyond that. Sephiroth could do it, Angeal could, Zack and Cloud and more beside. Genesis too had the ability to break his limits but it was not often he chose to do so, perhaps either because he wasn't able to reach his limits, or maybe that he kept himself calm during his fights and simply didn't intend to use his powerful technique. It also didn't help the auburn-haired man that the last time he was able to use his limit break, was when he were in his Avatar Form, fighting Zack Fair all that time ago. He didn't even know if he could pull off his Purgatorial Wave, even if he had reached his limit.
Now wasn't the time to be worrying about thing. The SOLDIER First Class would cross that bridge when he came to it. For now, he had to see what had become of his female opponent after his Apocalypse spell had been cast. The bright flashes of light and the gathering winds that picked up some dust made it a little harder to see what was happening, but Genesis' sharp mako-infused eyes managed to cut through the dust and watch as his spell rained down upon the Memory Witch, striking the poor young woman several times. However, she shifted a moment before the energy bolts of the spell fell upon her and the auburn-haired SOLDIER watched as the ten keyblades that hovered behind her suddenly zipped out and shot straight for him. Genesis' face frowned into a glare as he swung his Rapier down from above his head and swatted the first keyblade into the ground, causing it to bounce away. The second whooshed straight past his shoulder, smashing into the magical barrier behind him before tumbling to the floor. The third and fourth keyblades looked like they were on target and were also blocked and deflected away by the Crimson SOLDIER. The remaining came too fast though, yet all seemed to missed as they shot past the crimson coated man and clattered into the floor, each other and the barrier protecting the audience.
The odd occurrence caused Genesis to glance over his shoulder to make sure that these keyblades weren't like his Flash spell and that they'd come back on him at any given moment. Fortunately it seemed they weren't the same and remained on the floor as if they had been discarded. Raising an eyebrow, the auburn-haired man turned to look back at his opponent. Naminé was on the ground, looking up at him after taking the Apocalypse spell. She seemed to be holding on, which was good to see. The Memory Witch had almost given up the last time the Crimson SOLDIER had caused a painful wound upon her. It was reassuring to know that she was fighting on. Though there seemed to be something strange going on... Genesis could have sworn that when he knelt down before her at the start of this final round that Naminé had bright blue eyes. Now they looked more violent and Genesis pondered if they had always been like that. Everything went white an instant later and it took the Crimson Commander too long to realise that he had been caught within some sort of trap. Any effort to try and move was met with an unbreakable resistance and it felt as if his arms and legs were made out of lead. The heck is this...? Genesis asked himself within his thoughts as he tried to look about himself once more but found he couldn't that either. it was like he were being held in place... that his arms and legs has become victim to some puppeteer and that he was no longer in control of his actions.
What felt like an eternity passed and the white flower that had encased the auburn-haired man fell away, leaving the SOLDIER First Class standing up on his feet, eyes watching Naminé as she sat on the ground, wounded. What was that all abo--??!! Genesis' thoughts were cut off as he started to feel himself moving forwards towards the young woman, though it almost felt as if it wasn't of his own free will. Or was it his own free will? For some reason, everything felt strange. He could feel the wind on his skin, the burn of Naminé's fire spell on his stomach, his hair shifting in the air. He could hear the sound of his leather clothing creaking as he moved, his footsteps upon the arena floor, the cheer of the audience and Naminé's voice calling out to him. But... why couldn't he control himself? Stop!! Stop walking towards her!! He screamed within his mind, but it didn't seem to have any use. Instead, Genesis walked right up to the Memory Witch and bent down onto one knee before her. His infamous Rapier was placed down upon the arena floor and Genesis' hand moved up before him were he placed his fingertips against his forehead.
A green glow started to surround Genesis that shifted into a bright aura. He was casting a spell! What are you doing?! Why can't I move??! As the green aura built up, Genesis moved his hand slowly and aimed his palm at Naminé, casting the spell Regen
[/b] upon her. The warm green light had a very soothing feel to it, as it gave weak just repeated boosts of curative magic to aid in healing Naminé's wounds and help restore her fatigue. The Crimson SOLDIER smiled as he offered his hand to the Memory Witch to aid in pulling her back up to her feet. "Are you alright? I'm sorry to have hurt you Naminé..."Genesis said in his usual calm and soft voice. What?! I didn't say that!!If the young woman before him took notice, she'd see within Genesis' eyes that something was wrong with him. He might have changed on the outside, but within his eyes, he seemed to know that something very wrong was happening here. Once more Genesis' right arm was brought up to his forehead, fingers softly gracing his forehead as he prepared himself to cast another spell. It didn't take as long to prepare as Genesis waved his hand towards Naminé once more, a pale blue wave of energy washing over her and giving her a similar coloured aura. This spell was Magic Defence[/b] and would cut the strength of any spells used against her by half. Now he just stood there, watching the Memory Witch with a soft smile on his lips as he kept an eye on her to make sure she was going to be alright. [/blockquote] ------------------------------------------------------------ DamageSubtle sting in stomach and light burns across torso and stomach. Actions1. Genesis used his Rapier to block what few of Naminé ten Keyblades were on target. 2. Genesis cast Regen upon Naminé. 3. Genesis cast Magic Defence upon Naminé. Cool DownsMagic Sword[/b] - 1 Post. Angel Wing Teleportation[/b] - Ready to be used. Apocalypse[/b] - 2 Posts. Regen[/b] - 4 Posts -- A long lasting curative spell that heals the target gradual amounts of health and stamina over several minutes. Each small boost of Regen has the power to close small wounds and heal scratches or bruises. If allowed to complete it's full duration, even medium injuries can be healed. Genesis can cast the spell upon himself or target an ally on his team if they are in trouble. Magic Defence[/b] - 4 Posts -- A simple spell used to protect the caster against magical attacks. Clenching his left hand into a fist, a flash of pale blue light covers Genesis for a moment before he is given a faint matching aura that indicates the spell has been cast upon himself. He can also cast it upon ally if he so desires. Pretty much every type of magical spell has its power reduced but too many powerful, high grade spells can easily overload the aura and cause it to collapse.

Genesis has won the battle and tournament! Congratulations! It was a lovely match for everyone. Reviews:
Facts|Style|SportsmanshipSystemFacts: In regards to who dealt the most damage, that would be Genesis although at the end of the thread, the damage dealt to Namine would be healed up thanks to Regen by the time he snaps out of the Memory Implant thing.
I believe they both did well according to their character; but Namine hasn't quite found a style that fits her just yet since she's still learning and is inexperienced. The fact that Namine was first afraid until Genesis helped her out at the beginning was actually pretty adorable.
- [Genesis]
Style: Genesis definitely had control of most of the match until the very end when Namine used Memory Implant to shift the tide to her control. However, Genesis was dominate until that very end but the effects are temporary, one round to be exact, and I don't know if that round where Genesis wasn't in control of the situation is enough to make that shift permanent when Regen and Magic Defense was used on Nammers. It would have to take an extra round or two to see if its effects had fruit.
Otherwise, Namine was on the defense this whole round from her IC fear of the SOLDIER at the beginning until that point and throwing attacks at him whilst still learning her own battle style. - [Genesis]
Sportsmanship: I thought they both did pretty well on this category. I even laughed a bit when I read that Genesis thought he set himself on fire and the possibility of self-pyromania or something of that sort. xD Namine did take quite a bit of hits from Genesis though he took on that Memory Implant charm and gave her a regenerative spell and a support spell. I'm not quite sure who won the category since they both did well. ^^'- [Neither]
Overall Winner Genesis
Facts|Style|SportsmanshipSystemFacts: God, this new format is slightly confusing me... Why am I the first one to use it? Well, when it comes to who's been using the most powers in the profiles, that's definitely Genesis... but both have been in character during this entire fight and two powers were used in favor for Naminé (thanks to her ability). So yeah, facts... Genesis did most damage, Naminé's been learning a bit on her new skills she only had approved before the battle, and she was able to have Genesis by 'controlled' for a bit. Somewhat like Entice... how you call it? Anyhow, by facts I still think this goes to Genesis... I do prefer the previous system. =_=;; - [Genesis]
Style: Genesis controlled the battle. Naminé was tense at the start and Genesis did some RP on that and started his assault after his speech, he practically brought out most of the attacks and Naminé mimicked him in some cases, did her attacks, but Genesis stayed the dominant one throughout the battle. Naminé was more on the defensive throughout the fight. As things flowed onward, Naminé did seem to take on a new role towards the end, but we can't see the next posts, sadly. For that the tournament had to take a while longer... combining all the things I read on this new format: control, imaginations, effect, collective thought, blablabla... The winner of this section seems quite clear... - [Genesis]
Sportsmanship: Okay, this is somewhat a hard one. Naminé took quite a lot of attacks, while I could think of some ways for avoidance and such, but also Genesis accepted to take on hits and Naminé was able to get the first strike in. Also Genesis used two of his supportive spells while 'charmed' on Naminé. But for sportsmanship, this stays with the memory witch in my opinion. ._.; Why did I have to be the first one to use this format? -sighs- I hope any of my review made sense. - [Naminé] Genesis Rhapsodos
