"In today's top story, we are still covering the shocking event that has transpired today in what canonly be described as, and dubbed infamously by the populace as the 'WRO Mass Desertion Incident'. Hundreds of thousands of WRO personel station around the world have suddenly disappeared from their posts, leaving only a core skeletal group numbering only in the hundreds as the planet's last line of defense. The female anchor was drowned out on a overhead tv by the loud screaming of a rollercoaster, in the 'happiest place on Gaia' known as the Gold Saucer. Carnival music and the hum of the immense crowd added to this background noise, as the Amusement Park had now started promotioning it's operational hours after dark. Droves of numbers had turned up for the special event that was taking place on select days, proving record numbers and income for the already well-off family venue. This noise however, was soon completely replaced by the sound of gunfire and people screaming, the crowd spreading to reveal not any known enemy the Planet had seen before... but the red berets of WRO members firing directly into the crowd.
No sooner had people started recording the eye-witness sightings of the world's police turning on the people they were supposed to protect, capturing images with their cell phones, that the amusement park started shaking. Explosions? Earthquake? Worse. As the people on the rollercoaster were blissfully unaware of the betrayal happening below, a red tendril snaked ferociously from beneath and snapped the rollercoaster clear off the tracks, the green pulse of the Lifestream from dying bodies being absorbed directly into awaiting mouth of the identified Ruby Weapon. The only one able to identify it was one of the few people who had fought it and survived, Vincent Valentine, as he arrived on the scene dropping down from his gummi ship and shot dead-on directly into the creature's glowing eyes. Standing on top of the rollercoaster tracks, Vincent faced off against the creature alone, knowing there was a good chance he could die before he could get any answers about why WRO had gone rogue and what had summoned Ruby Weapon.

(Decided to unseal him and get him moving again.)
He was broken. As much as he hated to admit it, that is exactly what he was. His encounter with the strange angel like creature called Altima had made sure of that. He had tried to resist and win, but in the end he failed and the boy that was once calm and sure of what he had to do was shattered. The mission of taking out the Void had disintegrated as the boy and the mad one’s mind crashed and became an unbalanced mess of one. The mental landscape an invisible hell that trapped man and beast together, never letting the body know who would take over until it was too late. To make matters worse, a new beast had taken place of the Void. One that did not care about art, but simply fighting and destroying what stood in its way. That monster…the large beast from the nightmare he had had…it had cropped up shortly after he had escaped from the beating he was given by the hands of the angel.
He couldn’t stop it. This new creature, an evolved and twisted form of the Void, could not understand his thoughts or human speech. When it wanted out there was nothing he could do, but submit. There was no way to block it. It consumed him and left a path of destruction in its wake. The first time it had come, he was in an area where no humans or beasts treaded, so the only thing that had suffered were the rocks that had surrounded him. It took forever to calm the beast down and shift back into a man and while he was hurting and tired, he knew he could not stay out in the open, so while his sanity was still there he had run to the only place he thought might be able to help—the Academy.
Once there, he had to beg and threatened the confused staff to lock him in a secured area. He told them to make sure he could not escape neither physically or through corridors or elements. He told them what they could do to restrict him, a rare thing since this meant laying exactly what he was bare, but he was determined not to harm anyone. Still not understanding and feeling guilty, the staff had done as he requested and put him in their strongest and most secure room. He had let the medics help him to a degree before chasing them out and then once everyone was clear of him, he had stayed in that room and struggled with the beast for control. It had been a painful and violent process and the damage done to that room…he didn’t know how to pay for that. It was just too much, but at least the room had held no matter what the creature did.
It had taken almost a whole month of constant battling to finally contain the beast within enough to function more or less normally. When he was sure he wouldn’t harm anyone, he had gone to the corner of his prison and simply recovered from the war with the Beast. While the creature stayed within as long as he was calm, his mind took the biggest blow. His usually calm state was riddle with unexpected breaks of emotions and unexplained rage, but still regardless of his now unpredictable nature, he was at least able to be human again...for the time being.
The sudden silence from within the cell drew the attention of the guards who perhaps thought he had killed himself or something. Whatever their thoughts were, they were concerned enough to brave opening the door despite being told not to, but Deshi did not mind. He had stayed in the corner and only when they asked if he wanted to come out did he finally leave his prison. Thanks to not feeling pain, he had no clue just how badly he was injured until a medic saw him wandering the halls towards one of the bathrooms. The guy made such a fuss over his condition that instead of letting him clean up, the guy had directed his route into the hospital wing and would not allow him to leave until he said so.
Understanding the medic was only trying to help, Deshi had been submissive and let the guy treat him. Besides, he was able to catch up on much needed rested that way. Once he was able to get back on his feet, Deshi had stayed at the Academy for a long time helping with little things and only picking up his sword when the Heartless tried to enter the place. He found the Beast, while dangerous, was a lot calmer than the original Void. It watched normal battles with ease and didn’t let the usually triggers upset it. The only time, the creature would burst forward were when the stakes were high….Situations similar to the one that happened on Destiny Island with Genesis and Akemi…and recently ones like the beating Altima gave him. Those were the conditions it would come out on. Outside of these situations, the Beast remained calm, leaving behind the broken mind that was now Deshi.
Unstable and unsure, he had stayed at the Academy for a while longer before moving out from the safety of the building and seeing if he could once more exist alongside of normal people. He world hopped and did sweeps of the areas until finally he came to a world that simply made him stop to explore. The place was not his home, but it was something about the pull of the world and the somewhat familiar creatures there that made him to stay. He had explored the area he was in and found a Chocobo Farm nearby. Entering it, he had talked with owner of the farm who was friendly enough and even more happier to introduce the unstable mercenary to her selection of birds. While the woman was not bothered by Deshi, the birds having even better intuition than humans did were skittish around him and did their best to stay away. As a result selecting a bird was quite frustrating and came to a point where Deshi was about ready to give up on the whole idea of finding a faster way to travel the vast land. Sighing inwardly, he turned away and was about to leave when a strange thing happened. From out of the crowd of chocobo came an odd one with bright yellow fellows tipped with black. The elegant bird approached him before stopping a safe distance away watching him for a moment.
The owner nervous about the whole situation was suggesting that Deshi should leave the area and attempted to escort him away; however, at her approach the strange bird became offended, puffing up and threatening the owner with squawks and stamps. Startled, the owner backed away. As soon as she did, the bird looked back at Deshi and calmed.
Understanding that the bird had taken a liking to him, Deshi asked to purchase the bird expecting to have to negotiate a price with the woman; however, the woman didn’t want any form of payment. Instead, she gave the bird to him saying that she was glad someone was finally taking the aggressive bird out of her hands.
Despite how strange the situation was, Deshi didn’t complain content with the bird that had decided to be his friend. Without much effort, Deshi could mount the bird and tell it where to go without it so much as giving him a squawk of disapproval. Sure, the bird wandered off if he got off of it, but always it returned when he whistled for it.
In any case, Deshi and his chocobo got along well, traveling here and there together for a few days. The days were peaceful and the broken man was able to handle being around strangers without the Beast within him awakening. A welcome change from the unpredictable Void. He had thought that perhaps this world with all its peace would be a safe haven for him; however…he was mistaken.
The trouble started on an ordinary day. Curious as to what the bizarre structure was in the middle of a vast sea of sand, Deshi had taken his chocobo across the hot desert and right up to the entrance of the strange oval like structure. Leaving the bird outside, he took a strange ride upward until he came to the entrance of one of the strangest place he had ever been. Lights, strange vehicle that ran on tracks, laughter, the smell of foods and…a hefty price for the ticket to get in. Great...
He didn't have the sort of cash to spend on the unnecessary, so Deshi turned to leave thinking it was a wasted trip coming to this place; however, luck shinned on him again when a moogle decided it did not want the ticket it had and handed it over to him. A bit confused, Deshi had turned right back around and went to the ticket taker once more. He never planned to use the ticket he was given. No, his intention was to simply give it back to the lady that sold them; however, instead of taking it back and shooing him away, the lady took it and shooed him in to the strange place.
Unstable or not, Deshi didn’t understand the ticket woman’s thinking. She had just seen him moments before, so she had to know that he hadn’t bought the ticket and yet she had let him in? Odd, but he suppose he couldn’t complain. He was in now and for free to boot, so he guess he could look around. And what a place to explore this was! Deshi wandered from this booth to that booth to this area to that, checking the different things there as he felt like he was once more in Disney Town during that strange festival, except this place was much larger and thankful Fruit Ball free. It seemed the place was dedicated to nothing, but fun. There was so much to do…too much to do. Within seconds, Deshi was overwhelmed with the amount of choices and so had wandered, ate a small bit of the food there, wandered again, and then finally sat down on a bench mentally exhausted from the overload of things.
Sure, he traveled and had been to a variety of place in his life time, but nothing compared to the overload here. He wasn’t miserable, so he didn’t attempt to flee the place. Instead, he sat and let it all sink in for the moment. As he sat there listening to the sounds of the area, his dark brown eyes drifted up to the large display where a woman was talking. It took Deshi a moment to recognize the device as a TV screen, something used in the arenas to display the fight below to those too far away from the ring to see properly. He had been able to watch the noisy devices on the rare occasion the Queen wanted him to sit with her; however, he did not know they could display anything outside of the blood and violence of a fight.
So seeing one now displaying something complete different was intriguing to the warrior. Over the noise of this fun place, he focused on the TV, listening to what the woman was saying.
The head of WRO assured in a press conference today that there is no cause for concern for the planet's security, while the mysterious benefactor of the world security organization has not come forward. In related news today as we go further in this exclusive coverage..."
The rest was blocked out thanks to the screams from the strange, dipping and swinging ride behind him; however, he did not mind as he continued to watch the images flashing on the screen wondering what the lady’s message meant. WRO? Leaving posts? Planet’s defense and security? It all made no sense to the unstable young man who did not understand the concept of news. He continued to pondered the strange images on the TV, deciding that if anything the stuff there was useful information. So he continued to watch absorbing what he could over the noise. He never realizing that within a few minutes, tings were about to become nightmarish.
It started with the Beast within stirring as it sensed the coming storm quicker than Deshi did. Feeling the creature move, Deshi stood up on edge and ready to leave. He didn’t need the creature to be unleashed here and potential hurt the innocent ones that only wanted to have fun. Leaving his spot, he took only four steps forward before he was halting as the sounds of screams and gunfire were heard. Looking in the direction of the fleeing crowd, he saw uniformed people wearing strange red hats attacking anyone they could with their guns.
Being reminded of the guards back at the arena, Deshi responded to this senseless brutality with a frown as he summoned his Crimson Rose to his left hand. Moving against the fleeing crowd, he made his way to the nearest attacker as he reached out to grab a kid. In a flash, Deshi's sword was brought down and in the next instance the man’s arm was swiped completely off. In shock, the man stared at the missing arm before falling back to the ground his body going into shock as the blood pumped out of him. Behind him, the kid whimpered and scurried off with the rest of the crowd. Seeing Deshi as an enemy the remaining guards turned to fire at him, but found he was a hard target to hit. Moving with instinct and grace, Deshi disarmed one man and had him crumpling to the ground as the pommel of his sword jab the man forcefully in the stomach knocking the wind out of him and causing the man to go down. Not giving him a chance to recover, Deshi whacked him across the head with the hilt of his sword, knocking him out cold.
The others present attempted to recompose themselves and fire, some more successful at this job than others. Regardless of the flying bullets, Deshi kept himself out range as he moved in close to some causing them to turn their weapons against the others as he moved through deflecting and controlling their actions with simple grabs and twists. Within a few moments, Deshi was standing in the middle of a pile of bodies wounded or unconscious. There was no need to slay them despite what they had done. As for himself, he had cuts from where bullets grazed him and bruises from where the more rowdier of the group had managed to land a hit or two on him. The only serious injury he had was a bullet wound to the side that was bleeding steadily. Nothing hurt him and while he was breathing hard from the work out, he still had plenty of energy left to take on whatever came next.
Thankfully that next would not be coming from the downed soldiers' allies. Their back up had scattered away after a while, leaving the section Deshi was in clear for the moment. The young man relaxed a bit as he dismissed his weapon. He took in the worse of his wounds and after determining how far the bullet was in him, he got to work on it, deciding to bandage the wound up nicely for now until he could get to a doctor that would be able to get the piece of lead out. Some may think this foolish, but in reality the bullet was plugging up a much worse hole and thankfully it was away from anything vital, so even if it did move, he wouldn’t have to worry about dying from it.
He had just finished his work and had taken a step carefully over one of the moaning soldiers, when the area around him shook violently and caused him to pitch forward and tumble head over heels a few feet forward, a second bench stopping him. As he came a rest in a sitting position facing the roller coaster he had been sitting by moments ago, he saw the red tendril that came up and snapped the strange vehicle full of men women and children off the tracks.
Gritting his teeth, he watched as the vehicle crashed to the ground killing the passengers inside as a green energy flowed out of their dead bodies and into the mouth of a large mechanical like beast. It was something Deshi had never seen before, but he could tell from its actions and by looking at it that this beast was as bad as the beast he struggled to contain. This thing was a killer and needed to go. He knew it was probably foolish to try to fight whatever this thing was alone, but he didn’t care. As long as he could keep that thing from getting out into the outside world, he was willing to give the fight his all even if such a thing would risk unleashing the berserk creature within.
It would seem that he was not the only with this idea. Over the sounds of the chaos all around, Deshi heard the distinct sounds of a gun being fired and looked up to see someone in crimson falling from a ship in the sky and landing gracefully on the rails of the damaged ride. Glad to see someone else willing to fight the strange creature, Deshi decided to help the man out. Gathering the anger of the Earth within, Deshi placed his hands on the ground and directed his next move towards the creature. The ground cracked and trembled as the energy surged forward until reaching the feet of the creature and it erupting into large pillars that were dangerous to a smaller opponent, but still damaging if they could hit the larger creature. As the pillars hopefully did some damage to the creature, Deshi got to his feet and resummoned Crimson Rose hurrying over the scene. While he couldn’t get to the man up above, he could support him from down below. Perhaps together, they could bring the creature down and with luck maybe more would join in the effort to bring down the creatures. Regardless of what happened he’d stay, finish the battle, and figure out what was going on in this world and work to help with the situation that was steadily growing at hand.
Taking a position that would make it easy for him to attack and move about, Deshi raised his sword to eye level and prepared for the challenge at hand never realizing that the man in red above him was actually another member of the Academy. __________________________________________________________
Ropes of Earth:[/u] These aren’t ropes, but instead four pillar that attempt to hit targets from underneath. If hit, they cause moderate physical damage and if you are light enough to be tossed upward by the pillar, you’ll be taking more damage if you hit the ground. This one has a 3 posts rest.

Back on Gaia; it was about damn time that the Tsviet made it back to her home planet. So much to catch up on. As Rosso stretched to take in the air, she thought of what she should do now that she was back. She should probably head back to Midgar and report to Lord Weiss. It seems that the plan to awaken Omega failed since the planet was still alive. Nero was out on a different world, which needed to be reported to Weiss along with many other things she came to realize and experience during her time away from Gaia. "Dammit; it seems our plans to awaken Omega ended in failure. Lord Weiss will not be pleased. Tch, Vincent will pay with his life for thwarting our plans." Rosso would begin heading in the direction she knew Midgar was, stopping when she came upon a carvinal. The happiness and joy of such a place did nothing but put her in a state of bloody anger.
This anger would turn into curiosity, then exciting ecstasy as she watched the civilians being gunned down by the WRO The terror and the screams of people fleeing for their lives before becoming bullet-ridden corpses. Oh the chills that ran down her spine as she watched the scene. She made sure to stay out of the way for the moment to observe what was happening. Why was the WRO shooting down the people they were supposed to protect? What exactly had Rosso missed while on the other worlds? To make things more interesting, there started to be heavy shaking from the ground. An earthquake of some kind? No...this was something different. Just then, a large red tendril busted out of the ground, crushing a rollercoaster and pretty much devouring the life force from the dead bodies. When it fully emerged, Rosso identified it as the Ruby Weapon. She had arrived back on Gaia on the perfect day. So much death and destruction would happen today, with Rosso around to witness all of it.
Her joy would vanish but slightly when she saw Vincent arrive, and another soon after. She knew they were going to try and stop the Ruby Weapon and the civilian slaughter. Weiss might not be around to give her orders, but she would stop them in order to allow the death to continue. She would pull her weapon out, letting the two elongated blades attached to her uniquely shaped gun swing out. She was going to give Vincent the payback he so deserved. Running forward and using the rides to make her way up, she would eventually jump towards Vincent with her gun outstretched. "Long time no see my dear. Have you missed me? Let's have some bloody fun together Vincent Valentine. I so want to repay you for our last encounter."

A WE'VE GOT TO MOVE.
Steady your helm,
I AM LOSING SIGHT AGAIN. | [atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; background: #000000 ; border: 1px dashed #FF0000; color: 2f405e; opacity: 0.9; padding: 10px;]
As the battle began, the very earth shook once more as Vincent looked on, but it was not Ruby Weapon's tremendous girth that was the source of the shockwave. Vincent looked down and spotted at the base of the rollercoaster spikes shooting up from the ground, similar to some sort of Quake spell. Vincent glanced around quickly, his crimson eyes falling upon the caster, a young man with white hair and pale-colored clothing who was easy to spot down in the chaotic crowd below. It was fortunate, and beneficial Vincent had agreed to assist the Organization known as the Academy on the world of Pulse, for he briefly regcognized the youth as a prominent member of that same government initiative. His profile indicated he too had a verocious 'beast' dwelling within, but If the boy was a rookie, he was about to recieve his wealth of experience having to fight this planet's WEAPON up close and personal alongside him. But he was somewhat glad he was present to assist him as a informal calvary, even if more did not come.
Before he could act, he sensed someone rapidly approaching him. He looked down, seeing a notorious member of Deepground vastly gaining on him; Rosso. She had spoken too soon however without taking action, even as Vincent watched her unfold her gunblade weapon and level the shooting end at him. He pushed on his legs and flipped over her, evading whatever opening attack she may have had in store for him. Her timing could not be worse, and he had no time to engage the psychotic vixen. But Rosso was not going to let him simply ignore her, and as hard as it sounded he knew he could not leave Deshi alone to battle the immensely powerful Ruby Weapon. He would have to battle both at once, if it came to it and Rosso did not assist them so she could kill Vincent herself... he knew he could handle it. He had defended Gaia alone against the likes of Ultimecia and Sephiroth, and defeated both to come out on top as the sole defender of Gaia... this was just going to have to be an extra challenge to take him to new levels.
Ruby Weapon was the next to act. As soon as Vincent landed on the rollercoaster tracks, Ruby Weapon shot out an intense flamethrower breath in the form of Ruby Flame. Vincent defended himself, wrapping his cape around him, taking the intense heat. As flames and smoke engulfed him, Ruby Weapon slammed down on the ground with it's intensely long arms, and two shockwave trails shot out along the ground. Emerging from the point they ended, out snaked those long gray tentacles that had ensnared and absorbed the people on the rollercoaster. They whipped and snaked around, not seeing the difference between ally and enemy on the battlefield, the right tentacle lashing out at Deshi while the left Tentacle swooped towards Rosso.
From within the smoldering ruins on top of the rollercoaster tracks, Vincent suddenly jumped out in a trail of smoke, aiming Cerberus. With a clean shot, he sniped at the weapon straight into the eyes, using Cerberus once more. The creature made a unholy screech, and Vincent rolled as he landed, hurt but putting the licking flames out as he came out of the defensive manuver. As the rollercoaster caught fire, he landed on a different level below, and knew he was going to need to some extra firepower to bring down Ruby quickly. Attaching a relief with a red materia inserted into it onto the chain hanging from the bottom of his gun, the red materia made a ominous glaring glow as he fired it into the smoke from the flames which he had just emerged from. Forming from the thick smoke as more flames came from a casted circle came a formed black hood before a skeletal face, as the sinister form of the summon Hades appeared. A large cauldron formed from the crude, dense smoke before it, and instead of casting a spell from it, Hades picked it up with a large chain attached to it, swinging it like a giant mace on a chain above it's head before plummeting the cauldron attack straight into Ruby Weapon itself. Now while Hades attacked Ruby Weapon directly, Vincent could help Deshi focus on destroying the tentacles, even if Rosso was against them or not.

BANG! BANG BANG!
RATATATA!
BRAKA-BRAKA!
[/i] Gunshots were being fired at fleeing civilians in other parts of the world as well. Though this was on a much smaller scale then what was currently happening at the Golden Saucer, a handful of WRO Officers had appears in the port town of Junon. Screams and cries from the innocent people who dwelled there rung through the air between the short pauses of gunfire. Something very wrong had happened with the WRO it would seem. Whatever it was however, was a question one certain ex-member of SOLDIER could not answer. He had watched the news report and had scoffed at the TV screen when the disappearance of WRO had been related to the Mass SOLDIER Dersertion Incident that both Holander and himself had caused. What rubbish... what both Hollander and himself had done back then was all for a good cause... well... sort of. It seemed a good thing at the time, but that was then and now was now. Speaking of now, the WRO Guards suddenly started to shout out at a strange figure approaching them. All attention was taken off the fleeing and injured civilians and directed straight towards the approaching figure clad in crimson. Gun barrels were brought up to eye level and new magazines were loaded into them. "IT'S SOLDIER!!! KILL H--ugghhh!"A heavy ' THUD' echoed through the air as a solid blow from the pommel of a long crimson Rapier was smashed into the guard's stomach, silencing him and causing him to collapse down onto the floor face down, twitching slightly. Brightly glowing blue eyes looked up from the unconscious body and sent a freezing glare towards the remaining 5 WRO members who each shuffled backwards half a step. As if on cue, the lot of them all bore their teeth as they clenched their jaws and pulled the triggers on their weapons. BRAKA-BRAKA-BRAKA!![/i] The bullets zipped into a cloud of dust and the sound of them hitting the wall beyond was all that happened. The dust had settled a moment later and the guard peered forth to see that their target had vanished. Only temporarily mind you, for the SOLDIER 1st Class known as Genesis Rhapsodos had appears behind the lot of them, using his magnificent black angel wing to leap over them before they fired. This battle was already lost for them. 5 ordinary grunts going up against one of the very best SOLDIER's to have served Shin-Ra. THWACK!A second guard collapsed to the ground when Genesis' elbow was brought down upon the helmet resting on the guard's head. The remaining four whirled around only to see a fiery ball of flame in the form of a Flash smashing into them. Four explosions shook the immediate area and four impacts of bodies smacking into the wall and onto the floor ended the chaos in Junon. Onlookers poked their heads out from behind their hiding spaces only to see 6 unconscious men and a handful of black feathers fluttering down from the sky. Carefully, they all emerged and tied up the WRO men before aiding and helping those who were injured and hurt. Up in the skies, the cool breeze rushing through his hair, rustling his long leather coat and beating against his wing, Genesis rocketed through the skies as he could feel the entire planet itself aching with pain. Something very terrible was happening somewhere... if the Lifestream itself was suffering... What is going on? Why did the WRO attack civilians and why is the Planet itself trembling? Were only a couple of the many questions rushing through the complex mind of the LOVELESS Quoter. The open ocean was far below and the clouds parted after a few more beats of his wing for Costa Del Sol to show up on the horizon. Something was pulling him in this direction... an aura he had never felt before but one that seemed too familiar. It was an incredibly confusing thing to feel, and that was part the reason why the SOLDIER 1st Class was flying as quickly as he could to discover what it was. In the blink of an eye, Costa Del Sol had vanished behind him and the plains quickly turned to desert. Golden Saucer was quickly approaching and the LOVELESS Quoter could already see what the problem was. "...!!! Is that a WEAPON?!"He said aloud, his voice not hiding his shock and amazement. He had dreams of such creatures during his slumber inside the Flooded Cavern... but weren't there more of them and beside the point, had they not already been defeated by Strife and his AVALANCHE buddies? Within seconds, he was in the area and he could see all the chaos below as more WRO members on a grander scale were going rouge here too. The almighty sight that was Ruby WEAPON certainly was not helping control the situation. Much the opposite. Other strong aura suddenly perked up and reached the SOLDIER's attention when he turned his gaze off WEAPON. How many...? Two... no, three. First was Rosso the Crimson. It wasn't hard to miss her matching colour choice jumping through the air towards what appeared to be Vincent Valentine. He and Genesis had only met on a couple of occasions, only one of them were words were exchanged. He was a friend of Strife, no? Finally, the white hair of Deshitana caught the SOLDIER's attention, but his aura felt much different to when they last met at Destiny Island. Ruby WEAPON seemed to have it attention focused on the three of them for the time being, so now was as good a chance as any to launch an attack. Rosso was a big concern, she was a powerful member of the Tsviets, but alongside Vincent, both the ex-Turk and himself could take her out. The main concern was Rudy WEAPON. With it's size came an equal amount of power, no doubt. Beating his wing steadily to maintain his hover, Genesis turned to face the massive WEAPON and threw out his left hand before him, palm open and pointing towards the WEAPON's head. The Crimson SOLDIER had only had dreams and visions of this beast, so he knew not whether it was immune to magic or was strong against physical attacks. T'was only one way to find out! A massive, bright blue glow suddenly appeared in the form of a sphere in Genesis' outstretched hand. The sounds of gathering energy echoing off from him as he begun to tap into his Energy materia. A couple moments later once the glow had grown brighter and the spell gaining size, an energy-filled POW signaled the launch of the Energy spell which rocketed through the air at tremendous speed, though unguided, towards what Genesis assumed was the face/eyes of the Ruby WEAPON. It was time to even out this battlefield and aiding Vincent and Deshitana would be the best course of action to take here. With that done, Genesis tucked in his legs and turned himself about in the air so he was facing the ground. From here he plummeted down to the air and landed with a heavy thud beside Deshitana and Vincent, black feathers falling about the three of them. "Keep your eyes on Rosso, Valentine. Deshi and I can handle the WEAPON."Were the only words shared before he dashed off in a sprint towards the WEAPON. [/blockquote] -=Cooldowns=- Flash[/b] - 1 Post. -- After forming a fiery ball of flame within the palm of his left hand, Genesis can swing his arm before himself, launching out between 5-10 'Flashes'. He can do this twice, capable of releasing a maximum of 20 Flashes in one attack. The fireballs are small in size, but travel very quickly towards their target. Flash has excellent tracking capabilities and if they miss their target, Genesis can redirect the spell by moving his hand. Upon contact with the enemy or surrounding objects, the Flashes will explode violently.Energy - 3 Posts. -- A huge and bright fiery ball with a light blue aura appears within Genesis’ left hand and can be thrown in any direction with tremendous speed to try and hit the enemy. Unlike his Flash spell, Energy is unguided and cannot move from a straight path. When the ball of Energy hits something, it explodes in a large and violent eruption, damaging anything within radius with pure, untapped energy magic. The attack covers around 15 feet when it explodes, blasting away anything to be caught within.

As soon as he had taken his position before the weapon listening to the chaos of what was happening around him unfold, Deshi took a second to look up at the person that had come from the sky and that he had chosen to aid. Through all the smoke and flying embers from the flames and destruction, the white haired warrior made out the form of a man in a red cloak with long black hair and wielding a strange gun that pulled at some memory within. He let himself focus on the memory for a second, doing his best to locate what it was the man was matching in his mind. It only took a second and then nodding inwardly, he understood.
Vincent Valentine, a member of the Academy that he had not gotten the pleasure to know; however, what he did know of the little information that could be gained on the man was that he was an excellent shooter and wielded a strange three barrel gun called Cerberus, but why it had such a strange name or what it symbolized was beyond Deshi. The man was a quiet one that he did not see much of during his stay within the Academy; however, seeing the guy now caused a strange sort of connection to grow between them. Something told him that if anyone could understand his "condition", then it was this man, but this was no the time to try and understand why that connection had been made. Not with a monster…and a lady in red to contend with.
Deshi frowned slightly as the woman in red came out of nowhere made a beeline for Vincent. He guess she knew him and from the way she moved towards him with a murderous intent, the two were probably enemies. That was just perfect. If the woman was all up in Vincent’s face and indeed going to target him that meant Deshi would have to divide his attention between the powerful creature and his ally. Granted, he wasn’t a healer, but still he could protect his ally if need be. A dangerous sort of game to play, but Deshi didn’t care when the battlefield was so uneven at the moment. They would have to take care of each other if they were both going to survive this battle.
With his mind made up, he prepared for anything.
Above Vincent contended with the crimson clad woman and shortly after making his move, the strange thing known as Ruby Weapon made its own move seeming oblivious to the previous attacks done upon it. Opening its mouth it unleashed a flame attack so intense that even below Deshi could feel the heat, but not the burn that came with it. As the attack engulfed the track and his ally, Deshi was forced to move as melting chunks of the coaster’s tracks came crashing down to the ground. He hopped back trying to avoid the flaming debris, but regardless of the effort some small embers managed to brush against his hands and face and some even tried to settle on his clothing. He brushed the smoldering enemies away not feeling the pain they caused when they burned him. He did not wish to catch on fire. No, that was the last thing he wanted. Pain free or not, fire could still seriously damage and even kill him…and right now he could not afford to chance either options.
As soon as he had completed the small task, he heard the distinct sound of something heavy being slammed into the ground followed by the tell-tale shockwaves that forced Deshi to change up his stance on the shaking ground; however, falling was the least of his concerns as he saw the ground rising and cracking as something made its way quickly towards him from underneath. With the loud sound of the earth being forcefully split open, one of those deadly tentacles came shooting out of the ground sending chunks of rock everywhere before swinging about and come lashing away towards him. On instinct, Deshi hopped back swinging his sword in a circular pattern to deflect not only the flying rocks, but an incoming blow from the creature. The impact of the heavy lash was enough to push him back and break his defense, the tentacle slipping in the opening and coming dangerously close to his face as he moved his body to the right to avoid what would’ve been a deadly blow to the head. He felt the friction and strange warmth of the tentacle as it brushed by giving him a light cut on the face before striking air as he let himself fall and tumble to the side as from somewhere above the sound of a gun being fired reached his ears. A few seconds later, he heard the creature screeching as he rolled into a kneeling position. As soon as he came to a stop, he heard something hit something solid off to the side of him and turned slightly to see what it was. Relief washed over him as he found it was Vincent and not another enemy that was rolling about and putting out the flames that were on him. He watched the man summoned some strange creature with a cauldron that immediately went to attacking the strange red creature with…well the cauldron.
Glad that the undead creature was on their side and distracting the hostile creature for now, Deshi got to his fee and scanned the area, taking note of a second tentacle going after the woman in red. It was higher up, so for the moment he was going to focus on the lashing on at ground level, trusting Vincent to watch his back from his position. Right.
With a plan in mind, Deshi prepared for a long battle when from above there was a loud pow sound and then something blue went zipping by and towards the ruby creature’s face. Shortly after this, there was the rustling sound of clothing and then something was landing heavily between himself and Vincent causing black feathers to fall everywhere.
Deshi looked over to see who the person was and was happy to see the familiar crimson clad warrior that he knew well by now, Genesis. They had sparred together and even fought along side each other on Destiny Island to fight back the Darkness. He wondered how that battle turned out. He hadn’t been able to visit the place afterwards. Not since….
He pushed the troubling thoughts away and focused on the situation at hand. No time for distractions. Nodding in greeting, he listened as Genesis told Vincent that he and himself could handle the weapon and that Vincent should concentrate on Rosso. Rosso? That must’ve been the woman’s name. He marked it down for later and then saw Genesis charging straight towards the weapon.
Glancing over at Vincent he nodded, signally things would be okay. That they did indeed have his back before turning away and taking a few steps forward. Unlike Genesis, he had a tentacle to worry about, so for the moment he focused on that. Dashing forward, he made a session of three quick strikes at the tentacle -- one downward left diagonal, one upward left diagonal, and then a horizontal strike across the middle. Once done, he hopped back hoping that he was out of range of the tentacle and had done some damage before flipping his sword around facing it downward and kneeling down and resting the sword on the ground. His head was bowed, but his lips moved as small particles of light began to gather before him.
If given the time, perhaps he could take out the tentacle and do some damage to the strange weapon before it could do anything drastic…. _______________________________________________________
Light: Like ice, or lightning you have to listen out for certain words and action. If you see Deshi suddenly place his sword in the ground and kneel, bow his head, and whispering something, you have a few options: run, distract him, put up a defense or stand there and see what happens after the end of his chanting. This element takes a 1 post charge and appears as a small golden ball before him. Once the ball is before him, he’ll stand up on his next turn and bring his sword down upon the ball hard. This thing shatters into 20 small fragments of light that are extremely hard to dodge, but not it is not impossible to do. They can be canceled out with Dark or a shield. The shards do not cut, they cause minor damage alone, but together they sting..a lot. If the damage done by the shards isn't cured immediately, then enemies will fine this attack is more trouble than it first appears to be. The stings makes moving painful for 1 post effectively slowing one down (in other words it inflicts Slow upon a person or thing). Cooldown kicks in after the attack is done. Charging.
Ropes of Earth:[/b] These aren’t ropes, but instead four pillar that attempt to hit targets from underneath. If hit, they cause moderate physical damage and if you are light enough to be tossed upward by the pillar, you’ll be taking more damage if you hit the ground. This one has a 2 posts rest.

Naminé was having a great time at the amusement park. It was just the kind of break she needed. She did attend the Disney town events but she was taken away the moment she got there to hunt down some shards. So she really didn’t get to have fun much. So she had first corridored into this world not knowing what she was going to find. She had literally closed her eyes and opened a portal to anywhere to see where she would end up. The moment she entered this world this excited family told her about is place. It sounded fun so she followed them and her she was aimlessly footling about.
The Nobody ran from this booth to that in awe with all the stuff they had to offer. She when on a few rides as well where she quickly discovered that rides that spun where not her cup of tea. She had wanted to try out the Roller Coaster though. She went to stand in line for it and watched the park from the long wait she had ahead of her. She watched families, friend and lovers walking around having a good time together. Come to think of it she didn’t see a single person alone. She was the only one without someone by her side. “Next time I will have to try coming here with someone.” She thought as she slowly made her way up to the front of the line. Naminé was the going to be the third person to get to ride by this time. In front of her were two teenaged guys that were taken the rider together. They were talking to more teenagers that were going to be in other cars. She had guessed that they were all friends. They yelled over to other people n the other lines, laughed together, teased each other to see who would back out first, and hit on few girls, as Felix would say, in other parts of the line.
In front of the two teens in Naminé’s line, and the next to get to ride, was a little girl and her dad. The little girl was whisper to her dad that she didn’t want to ride and that she was scared. The dad kept trying to console her mainly because he really wanted to ride the coaster. When the dad didn’t see her way she began to cry. The father would look around nervously at the other people in the lines. When he noticed that people were watching him and his daughter with disapproving expression he would look at them and smile, placing a hand on the back of his head to rub it, and say things like “Ah she is just nervous.” Or “She has been going all day and is tired. We are heading home after this.” Or Naminé’s personal favorite. “Ah kids. What are you going to do with them right.” Finally the dad manages to talk the young girl on the ride just as the coaster cars rolled in and let its last batch of passengers off. He promised her that she would get something extra special if she was a brave little girl and rode the ride with daddy. With the promise of something like that the little girl stopped cry and happily enter the coaster car. She glanced over at Naminé and gave her wave giggling. Naminé’s face softened as she waved back at her…then the roller coaster took off with all its thrill seeking passengers with a whoosh and screams of fear and joy. The lined moved up and Naminé was the second in line to ride.
Without warning there was what sounded like gun fire. The screaming got louder and people began rushing all around. The people in the lines started to run each over and pushed each other out of the way while the made a mad dash to where ever they were going. Naminé stayed here she was and looked on in confusion. She could see men with guns firing into the crowds. The teens that were in front of her were craning their necks to see what was going on. When the men with the guns came near the coaster line. The teens panicked and pushed Naminé out of the way so they could run as well. Naminé ended up landing on the tracks of the coaster as guns were being fried and bullets flew over her head. She quickly got up and struggled to get back up on the platform due to people kicking her in the head try to get away from the gun fire.
Once safely off of the coaster tracks Naminé rubbed her temple. She looked up and saw that the teens that were in front of her were corner by one of the men with guns. He was holding the barrel at the kid that was standing in the front of his friend. The friend in the front was trying desperately to shield his other buddies in case the man opened fire. The touched Naminé to see people who weren’t this battle for the worlds still do everything in their power to protect their friends.
Naminé rushed up to the man with the gun and putting on the most innocent Naïve act she could she tugged on the man. He looked down at her and she put her left fist up to her mouth and with big blue round eyes looked up at the man. “Mister I am lost. Can you help me?” She said to him. The man lowered his weapon for a moment and within a second Naminé smiled and summoned her Keyblade striking the man in his side with the middle section of the blade. The Man went down but then while in pain he tempted to point his gun at the young Nobody. The Teen from the front of his friend came up from behind the guy while he was distracted on getting a perfect aim and hit the man with the full book bag he a brought with him as hard as he could knocking the gun man out. Naminé smiled at the boy in thanks and then the ground began to shake.
Two Tentacles shot up from the ground and one snapped the track of the ride that the Nobody and the teens had been waiting to ride only moments ago. The coaster car was sent flying through the air and crashing down. The other teens in the group yelled in horror as Naminé and their friend stood side by side with their eyes wide and jaws dropped. “Dude that could have been us! That could have been us man!” They kept chanting in complete shock. “Let get out of here.” The teens grabbed their friends arm and pulled him to run with them. They disappeared into the crowd but Naminé remained rooted to the spot. She watched as a strange green light came from the bodies and into the mouth of a giant red creature.
Naminé tried to walk over to the coaster to see if there had been any survivors even if she already knew the answer from not being able to sense a heart beat from any of them. She made her way over slowly as people rushed passed her. Time had seemed to slow down for her. She could hear herself breathing even though millions of screams were flooded the air and it was anyone else could hear. She stopped half towards the derailed coaster. Her bangs feel over her eyes as she stood there feet away from the little girl and her dad that stood in front of her line….well their bodies anyway. The memory witch’s body was shaking and tears flowed down her face. It would seem as if the little girl wouldn’t be getting the special gift after all for being brave and riding the coaster.
Naminé hear more gunfire but she didn’t even bother looking up at that time…if she had she would have seen Vincent, a women she didn’t know, and Genesis on top of the tracks. She would have also noticed the attack of pillars upon the monster and that the monster was mounting attacks of its own. Her hand gripped her Keyblade even tighter as she mourned the loss of a child that she didn’t even know. She looked up at the creature and her body shook with rage. “You, You! You Bastered!” She yelled at the monster. The tip of Destiny’s Embrace began to glow at the anger that Naminé felt. She thrusted the Keyblade into the air. “Thunder!” She cried out at several lightning bolts showered the creature. Naminé had promised herself that she would learn this magic for the Keyblade awhile ago and it would seem that her rage and sadness had taught her.
Naminé had looked over at the sound of more gunshots. Finally she saw some guy with white hair standing there before a tentacle, Vincent Valentine, and Genesis. A shockwave came and knocked her over for she had no real stands. She fell to the ground and waited for the wave to pass before getting up. She watched as Genesis flew after red monster and the guy with the white hair attacked one of the Tentacles.
Naminé was glad to see people fighting this creature and more glad that she knew most of them. She looked back over at girl. Her body had shifted from the shockwave and she was now lying on the shoulder of her father. “You will still get that special gift for being a brave girl.” Naminé said to her even though she was fully aware that the child was unable to hear her words. “I promise.”
Naminé then set her sights on the other Tentacle seeing now that it was after a woman. Unaware that this lady was possible an enemy since she was distracted at the time to see what happened on top of the tracks, Naminé didn’t want to see someone else die from those things. She ran forward with her Keyblade and with a snap of her fingers 4 Dusks were running beside her. The first Dusk made to the Tentacle first and slashed at it with its claw like fingers. It was followed by the second Dusk, then the third, then the forth, and finally Naminé fell in last and spun around to get enough force to try to slice right thru the tentacle.
The memory witch would turn towards the Ruby Weapon at this point. Something was gone from the Nobodies eyes. The happy innocent she normally had about her was gone. She had the look of if you messed with her you were going to die. Naminé left what was left of the Tentacle to the Dusks as she ran past the others and followed Genesis to the monster. She was determined that the little girl would still get her special gift. She would see to it….personally.
(OOC: Naminé isn’t a part of the Academy yet. She was offered by Hope but I am having her decline right now for her plot proposes. Whether or not Hope told other members like you, it is up to you. But she knows of it but refuses to work there at the moment.)
Thunder- Naminé raises her Keyblade, strange light surrounds the tip of the blade, and several bolts of lightning rain down from the sky all over field. Anyone in the way will get electrocuted dealing minor damage.
After being in several battles Thunder type spells were used more often against the young Nobody. She experienced this over and over again and now has learned how to do it herself. She finally fully can cast the spell with her Keyblade after seeing how to do it when Sora use it against her in the tournament.
Cooldown- 1 post
Dusk: Up to 4 Dusks come to my aid per battle. Attack: Hitting enemies by slithering between their legs Defense: taking the hit for Namine so no bodily damage is inflicted on her. (Dusks will die the moment after they are hit.) [Duration: until enemy eliminates all 4 Dusks. Cooldown: One post after all have been defeated.]

[atrb=border,0,true][classy=bg][classy=text]Plotting a massacre wasn't easy but Claire had just about put her plans together and she was scouting out the site of her latest work of art. Most artists used music or paint and canvas as their medium but Claire's was blood and entrails. While it was true that she was learning self restraint and self control from Altima there were still times when the red head yearned for a bloodbath. She happened to pick this amusement park for said bloodbath this time around. She sat on the roof of one of the concession stands with one leg dangling over the side and the other one tucked under the dangling leg as she observed the roaming crowds of patrons as they enjoyed their day. Little did they know that their peaceful family outings, friendly get togethers, and dates would turn into devilish nightmares.
While this day of fun and merriment did indeed turn into a living hell it was not because of any doing on Claire's part. The chakram wielder stood up and watched as men appeared and began shooting into the crowd and killing dozens of innocent people with that count still rising. She was disappointed that she was not the one causing these deaths but nevertheless she was enjoying the impromptu entertainment. The flying bullets and falling bodies were fun enough to witness but Claire was treated to another surprise when an enormous creature appeared and smacked the train of roller coaster carts right off the track adding to the already high death toll.
Even from the distance Claire stood from the roller coaster she could see a man in a red cape arrive in a gummi ship that he jumped from and immediately attacked the creature. By this point most of the crowd was cleared from either being killed or fleeing and things were easier to see. Soon after the Red Riding Hood, as Claire would call the man in the red cape, appeared she spotted another stranger that was not fleeing like the rest of these incests. No, he was fighting the armed men and doing a rather good job of doing so and then turned his attention to the beast once his first battle was done. Then yet another man entered the area. He wore a red coat and had seemed to be flying with only one wing. Claire had not seen this man before but he did remind her of her encounter with Sephiroth in the Keyblade Graveyard since he too only had one wing. He engaged the large creature in combat and Claire turned her attention to another newcomer to this growing battle.
This time it was a woman with red hair like her own but not nearly as long that wielded a unique looking handgun with two long blades coming from it. She made her way up to the Red Riding Hood seemingly to attack him. So not everyone had the safety of this park and it’s patrons at heart. Claire smiled at that.
And yet the number of goodie goodies went up by one more as Claire spotted the first familiar face she’s seen since these stronger beings began appearing. It was Namine. That little blonde rat and her friends had handed her and Jafar a sound defeat at Port Royal. Since then Claire had made it a goal to destroy those who had beaten her. In fact she was about to close in and attack Namine but then the Nobody had summoned four being that Claire did not recognize but she would deal with them and then deal with the blonde Nobody.
Claire jumped down from the roof she was standing on and ran towards Namine who was busy attacking the beast. She had the bonus of cutting down some civilians and WRO troops on her way and once she was close enough she threw both her chakrams aimed at Namine’s back as well as a Water spell at the first Dusk. Her fight would be with Namine and if anyone interfered they would pay the price.

IT'S TIME TO RUN.
Blow me away.
I WILL STAY UNLESS I MAY. | [atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; background: #000000 ; border: 1px dashed #FF0000; color: 2f405e; opacity: 0.9; padding: 10px;] If one would notice the WRO soldiers up close, one would notice they did have sense of awareness of other people and would cry out in alarm or pain, but other than that... it appeared from the very glance from their eyes that they were not all... completely there. As if zombified in the practical sense rather than the magical sense, or they were sleepwalking and having nightmares of erratically shooting everything in their path. The Golden Saucer amusement park was now complete chaos as infantry hunted down everything that moved and they cornered while civilians ran and screamed in absolute terror in the face of this horrific nightmare. The fire from the rollercoaster had spread to stands and the amusement arcade, and the dead that had not yet dispersed and changed into energy littered the walkways. The ones that can dissolved into green energy was indeed being sucked in lifestream-like ribbons into Ruby Weapon's mouth.
(OOC: Sorry about the delay in posting, but I've been thinking and had ideas to kick this battle up a notch and keep this interesting. Here's hoping that if they're not favored, you'll still enjoy taking them down.)
Vincent Valentine was in a slight position of irritation, with only one ally on the field while having to deal with Rosso from Deepground out for his blood. He could deal with them both, yes, but the fight would draw out for a long time and even longer if the Crimson Tsviet hampered his progress chipping down Ruby Weapon. With Deshi having turned focus from the guards he had crumpled and helping him with Ruby Weapon, there was no-one to assist them with the manic WRO that were still on the loose, and every real possibility the death toll would rise that Vincent could not protect. As if to answer this thought, a sudden flash and explosion of literal Energy erupted and exploded into Ruby Weapon's face before another crimson figure with an enormous giant raven-black wing landed next to him and Deshi. "Genesis." Vincent realized, taking in account the presence of the man with the questionable alligence he had met back in Edge, but actions spoke louder than words and Vincent was not about to look a gift ex-SOLDIER down the mouth for an alterior motive when he was offering assistance, nodding only once before turning to Rosso. "It absorbs the basic elements. Destroy the tentacles, avoid Whirlsand." was all he uttered in his deep voice, before turning away.
Facing Rosso would still be challenging, but consistently easier while Genesis and Deshi would keep Ruby Weapon at bay. A large tentacle came for her, but it was stopped as Vincent looked down and recognized Naminé had arrived on the scene, attacking the tentacle with her Dusks and keyblade. Looking back to Rosso, like Naminé had intended in action, Vincent didn't feel it was right to attack Rosso when she had not instigated her attack and had yet to decide if she was going to help or hinder them in this fight. Instead, Vincent wisely let her choose instead of forcing her to attack him, in case of the chance she had the mindset to be the only one who wanted to kill him and would stop the Ruby Weapon from doing so. But if she attacked him outright, at least he could claim self-defense, and keep her off the others since he was currently closest to her position.
Ruby Weapon screeched as it's tentacles we slit and destroyed by both warriors, the larger ones withdrawing into the ground. What happened next however was slightly surprising, as several smaller but identical tentacles sprouted out of it's back. Half of the dozen shot into the power generator of the rollercoaster, glowing with red energy being transferred through it as the lights in the park went out, making it obvious the WEAPON was drawing power out of the park's electricity as the entire grounds plunged into darkness under smoking midnight fire. The other half snaked and impaled into fleeing citizens, pulling them up like hooked fish and drawing them into Ruby's body to burst into that dispersing green energy of the Lifestream.
The entire rollercoaster the heroes were all standing on and around started to come down as Ruby Weapon's giant arms came swinging down. Big Swing crashed into the rollercoaster, tearing down the wooden and metal structure and intending to take down the humans there with it. With nothing else to jump to and the jump down being too far without any wings currently to slow his descent, Vincent had no choice but to turn and run. He ran down the length of the track as Ruby Weapon came after the lot of them, jumping through fire and sliding under higher crashing pieces of the rollercoaster. The gunman was running to and had spotted something he could jump to, which would take him from the current Speed Square they were all in and to Round Square - the gondola ride.
The Gold Saucer was like a giant tree, with each of the squares serving as platforms on different branches, with Speed Square being one of the lower branches. Round Square was a branch up higher on the 'tree' of the amusement park, about half-way up the giant multicomplex. By the time Vincent got there, the gondola had been deserted, much to the relief of the former Turk. As the battled moved as Ruby Weapon followed Valentine, carving a path of wicked destruction in it's wake. Vincent jumped from the booth to the moving car ride which would travel around the length of the path, the height of the WEAPON still able to reach him but still somewhat sluggish after the use of it's arms.
What happened next, however, nobody could have foreseen coming. Ruby Weapon started to mutate something out of it's body again, but this time it was not just tentacles. A part of Ruby Weapon's chest opened, and the tentacles carried out with it and deposited a shadow on the rooftop on the opposite side of Vincent. Not just an object, but a figure, and as a spray of machine gun fire cut across the rooftop around the caped man in a show of theatrics the slender figure in red hunkered down on the roof of the gondola as it landed. "So nice to see you again, Vincent Valentine." came the female voice as she slowly rose up, revealing a head full of blond hair, her face revealed in the light of the full moon as none other than Scarlet, the former head of the Weapons Department that worked with President Shinra and Hojo. Vincent cautiously raised Cerberus at her at the same time she leveled her dual machine-gun pistols, which were identical to the gun she used to shoot off Barret Wallace's and Dyne's arm, along with the same material shaped as armor across her tattered streamline dress, giving off the impression she was bound to Ruby Weapon in the same manner Weiss had bonded himself with Omega Weapon.
"You fool. Did you and your friends really think I was dead? The Lifestream has been bringing back the dead for some time now... if only I knew it could grant me this strength from the WEAPONs. Now, you will die to atone for what you did to me! KYA HA HA!" she laughed coldly, her pistols igniting with a glow of scarlet crimson flowing from Ruby Weapon as she unleashed not bullets but the rocket-launcher like magic of the devastating Comet2. The enhanced comet spell was shot at Vincent from one gun, the other pointed in the direction of the others who had dared to jump onto the gondola platform to escape the collapse of the rollercoaster. The Comet2 exploded and knocked Vincent backwards, off the gondola, grabbing the edge of the riding car with his golden gauntlet to stop his fall, which as he looked down he was hanging precariously very high above the platforms of the Gold Saucer as the car climbed fiurther upward.
Fortunately, the host of Chaos let go of the cart and landed gripping the long chain of Hades, who had followed him onto the gondola and somehow evaded the Comet2 blast. Hades swung Vincent back up to the height of the gondola, the shooter barrel-rolling through the air as he turned and switched weapons, using Blast Machine Gun to return a devastating storm of bullets back at the empowered former SHINRA staff. Scarlet grunted as she was thrown backwards and off the platform, but was lifted and carried back onto the platform by Ruby Weapon's tentacles attached to her armor much like a marionette. As if to cut these strings attached and sever the bond to her and Ruby Weapon, Hades withdrew a large sword from his side with it's skeletal left hand and sent a quick slash down with the length of it, attempting to hit them both and Scarlet. The artificial cables were hit and took damage, but they were as armored as they were flexable, and Scarlet herself while as fast as Weiss was hooked up to Omega Weapon could not escape the tip of the sword slicing a clean cut down the back of her right shoulder.
"I and Ruby Weapon shall slaughter you and your pathetic friends, Valentine! Even if I fail, countless hundreds to hundreds of thousands are already dead and absorbed, making me even stronger! KYA HA HA!"

OOC:((If this was too outrageous or if it didn't make sense, please let me know so I can edit it))
Cloud rode the plains on his huge motorcycle, Fenrir. The wind blew in his face as he whipped through earthly obstacles on his bike. Cloud never thought that he would see his own world again. He hadn't since he had come back from facing Sephiroth, but how he got he was quite strange. Before, Cloud went back to the place in Radiant Garden where he had disappeared with Sephiroth, Cloud thought that Aerith had been there waiting for him, however, he had been mistaken. It simply turned out to be a regular young woman. To say that Cloud was embarrassed would have been a complete understatement. Cloud apologized to the woman; she accepted his apology and left Cloud in that open space but before she completely left Cloud, Cloud turned to ask her a question. He couldn't help himself; he had asked the young woman if she knew who Aerith was...but alas...she didn't. Cloud thanked her for her time; the woman smiled at him and bid Cloud farewell. Cloud then began to look for clues, anything at all that might have sent Cloud and Sephiroth to that other place to fight. After an hour or two, Cloud found nothing. Cloud crossed his arms sighed. He simply got on his motorcycle and left the area.
Cloud decided that before he would even step foot into the bustling sugar rush-like chaos that was Merlin's house, he would get some fresh air. Cloud got on his motorcycle and put on his sunglasses. He put the kickstand back up and turned on the beastly engine of his motorcycle and rode off to the entrance of the city and out of it. Cloud didn't really pay attention to his surroundings but so he didn't really see his scenery change, but sooner rather than later, he found that the different colors and hues had changed from a blue/purple/orange mix...to a green and blue and black mix of colors. Cloud widened his eyes and immediately power-slid into a stop. Cloud wasn't sure what had happened but...he knew the green plains that he had found himself on anywhere...Cloud was back home. Cloud looked all around him to see the mountains in the distance and different sections of forests all around him. It had been the first time he had seen the Planet since he got sucked into the war between Chaos and Cosmos. Cloud figured that he would ride to Edge, thinking that Denzel and Marlene probably missed him greatly. Cloud couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces but of course, the gleeful feelings were kept inside. Cloud's facial expressions were as blank as fresh white printing paper. Cloud adjusted his sunglasses and decided to ride to Edge.
As Cloud rode along on his motorcycle, Fenrir, Cloud figured that he would come up on the city of Edge and the ruins of Midgar in just a few moments. However, he soon came up on a desert, which meant, in Cloud's mind, that he was on the wrong continent. Cloud sighed as he saw just an inch of sand but then he heard something in the distance...loud crashes and cries of people. Cloud stopped and then began to listen closely and that was when he heard a loud boom and to say that it was loud was putting it lightly. Cloud's eyes widened from behind his black sunglasses. He revved the engine on his motorcycle and zoomed toward all the noise, having his motorcycle doing the most when it came to its speed. Cloud deduced that whatever was going on, it was all happening at the Gold Saucer...and Cloud was right...but then he got more than what he thought he would. He got a full blown battlefield.
Ruby WEAPON, much to Cloud's surprise had been revived and now it was rampaging, destroying the Gold Saucer. There had been people fighting here and there, but the most notable one was the gun-toting man in a red tattered cape that was flying through the air, trying to fight the Ruby WEAPON. Cloud, knowing full well that Vincent would need his help, activated the sword compartment device as he rode. He pulled out the First Tsurugi and the hollow blade attachment. Cloud attached the hollow blade to the First Tsurugi, the click and lock sound gave Cloud the assurance that the first attachment was in place. He then took out one of the asymmetrical serrated blades and attached that blade to the back end of the First Tsurugi on one side of the blade. He took out the second asymmetrical blade and put it in one of the sheaths he had carried on his back. With the First Tsurugi having the hollow blade and one of the asymmetrical blades attached to it in one hand. Cloud stopped and turned off his motorcycle some meters away from the action.
Cloud then saw that Ruby WEAPON had swiped at the roller coaster track. Cloud took out the asymmetrical serrated blade he had in his back sheath and, in stylish fashion, ran along the tracks at great speed and agility while dodging the falling debris. Cloud then leaped to a high height just above Ruby WEAPON. He swung the First Tsurugi and the asymmetrical serrated blade he had in his hands and they began to glow bright blue in his hands. He then brought both swords above his head and when he descended, he unleashed one of his signature attacks, Braver, attempting to give a powerful downward slash upon the head of Ruby WEAPON using both the First Tsurugi and the asymmetrical serrated blade attachment. Whether the attack connected or not, upon impact, Cloud, when he was descending to the ground, found Vincent in the Round Square. He zoomed his way over but Vincent had already made his into the gondola and rode off as Cloud landed in the Round Square. Vincent had a good eye; he could see Cloud had come to help him. He probably knew that Cloud was there once he attacked. Once he landed in the Round Square, he saw what appeared to be a blond woman which was attached to Ruby WEAPON. This confused Cloud immensely, could someone be controlling Ruby WEAPON? This woman appeared to be busy with Vincent, so Cloud figured he would just concentrate on the main body of Ruby WEAPON itself. Cloud saw another gondola go by, so to follow Vincent and back him up, Cloud jumped to the top of it, following Vincent, he was not too far behind but he was not too close either, there was a good amount of space between them so that they could work together. He nodded at Vincent...that was all he really needed to do to let him know he was here. Vince was not one for words...
Powers Used:
Braver: Cloud moves in toward his enemy with outstanding speed. He then jumps up and delivers a powerful downward slash onto the enemy with brute force. This move was even so strong that it was able to crack the skull of Bahamut SIN. ((3 post cooldown))

There was too much going on at one time, making the chaotic battlefield hard to decipher for those that were not trained or use to such things; however, for Deshi the situation was quite familiar and so his mind picked the pieces out easily enough, telling him where to focus and where not to. As the pieces fell into place, so did rise the Beast that was sleeping within Deshi.
The first thing that Deshi took note of was that everyone was gathered around this strange weapon like creature either attacking it directly, taking on the tentacles, or attacking others they found more interesting in the chaos. As a result of everyone being focused on other things at hand, no one had the time to focus on the strange guards that were still slaughtering the innocent ones trying to escape. It pained Deshi that he could not break away from his battle with the large creature and play defender for those that could defend themselves; however, he was only one person and the crystals within did not give him any other power except elements and even those were weak as they were. It was an unfortunate case, but the fact remained that the strange weapon was the main threat and that everyone else would just have to fight or flee on their own. A harsh train of thoughts maybe, but one that was true to the situation. In any case, he didn’t focus too much on the issue of the guards, as the scent of blood filled the air along with charred flesh, death, and smoke.
The Beast within stirred, its personality poking the surface as the violence and death continued around the young man. Genesis had gone to fight Ruby up close and personal along with the summon that the red clad man called Vincent had unleashed. He had no clue what had become of the woman in red as Deshi’s attention was mainly focused on avoiding getting whacked or impaled by the tentacle in front of him. As he was moving, he took note of two other that had joined the fray. The first was a blonde head girl that was able to summon those strange shells that he had seen back at the mansion when he was with Felix. It made the quiet warrior wonder if maybe she was the source of the creatures since they seemed to obey her commands; however, for the time being the creatures and their master seemed to be on their side as they took to attacking the creature and the tentacles instead of himself or his ally. Over the roar of the flames and screams, Deshi could’ve sworn he heard the girl speak out some words, but the words were hard to decipher, so he dismissed whatever was said for now as he continued his battle.
As he rolled away from a swipe from the tentacle; he took note of the red head woman that was now attacking the blonde girl and her summons. He didn’t understand what it was with outsiders attacking one another, but he assumed that the ones attacking those trying to stop the weapon and the chaos were either enemies of old for those they attacked or just trouble makers in general. Whatever the case was, Deshi was not about to worry about it since the two women were not attacking him directly. Refocusing, he attacked the tentacle, keeping in mind what Vincent had said about the creature absorbing basic elements and also some attack called Whirlsand. He dealt out his physical damage pleased to see his strikes hit before hopping back and charging his Light element, praying that it was not classified as a “basic element”. When he unleashed the spells a few minutes later, he felt relief wash over him as the tentacle was destroyed. He heard the creature screech in pain as a result and was pleased to hear that screech suggesting that not just one, but perhaps the other tentacle had been destroyed too. However, the relief was short lived as the large tentacles retreated into the ground and smaller ones grew from the creature’s back. Before Deshi could register what was about to happen, half the tentacles had gone into the power generator of the roller coaster and began to glow red absorbing, the energy from the coaster…
…No the whole park…[/color] Deshi thought as the area went black and the sounds of screams increased as he could see the shadows of the tentacles, racing through the park to capture more victims. In the eerie light of fire and green glows, Deshi moved as fast he could towards tentacles nearby that he could stop. He sliced a few going for victims and almost ended up impaled himself as he made a dash for a child paralyzed with fear. As he scooped up the kid, he made a turn to insure he was between the kid and danger. As he did this he felt the tentacle brush against him, but he did not feel any pain associated with the cut the dangerous object gave him; however, he did feel dizzy and a bit drained after the event making him wonder what the tentacle did to him; however, he didn’t think on it too hard as he focused on not collapsing on the child he had in his arms. Once the danger was clear, he looked down at the child to see her staring up at him scared and relieved all at once; however, no words needed to be spoken as her big blue eyes met his serious dark ones, the kid picking up on what she had to do without him saying anything. Releasing the child, Deshi watched as the child fled through the smoke, praying that she’d be alright before turning to the horror show of green lights behind him.
Those tentacles… they were draining people of their life and feeding the creature with those sickly green rivers of light. There had to be way to stop the creature from doing that, but how was the question. It seemed to be able to summon—Huh?
Deshi’s thoughts came to a screeching halt as he saw the large creature bring its arms down and crashing through the remains of the rollercoaster.
“Tch!” was all the warrior said as a rare sign of emotion appeared on his face as he gritted his teeth and then began to run as the rollercoaster above came down in burning, screeching pieces all around him. He couldn’t really see through all the smoke and falling pieces, but somehow he managed to duck and dodge the pieces that came dangerously close to him, his skin was getting singed from the flying embers, but unable to feel the pain he kept moving brushing off any that threatened to settle on his clothing. He kept moving until he had no more ground to run on and came to a sliding halt at a ledge. He heard a loud screech behind him and turned to see a huge bulk of the coaster coming down and in his direction. Having no other option, Deshi made a leap of faith out into the open area before him, doing his best to direct himself towards what he hoped was a solid platform. He barely made the landing, hitting hard before wobbling dangerously on the edge looking like he was about to topple over to his death; however, he waved himself forward and fell forward onto a thankfully solid platform. Relaxing a bit, Deshi got to his feet as above him he heard the crash and clang of the falling coaster. Looking back up, he was thankful to see nothing had decided to follow him down, but now he had another problem on his hand.
It would seem that wherever he had landed he was in another warzone. This one consisting of Vincent and some blonde lady that seemed to be attached to the strange ruby colored weapon thanks to some armor she wore. She was spewing some words about how her connection to the weapon was giving her power before unleashing some form of spell upon Vincent then himself from her strange guns. Still trying to recover from the fall and get his bearings, Deshi could not get out of the way of the strange attack of raining comets that came from the woman’s gun. He tried to bring up his sword and guard, but the flying rocks were to powerful. They smashed against his blade and body before they sent him sliding over the well-worn surface of the platform towards the edge he had only gotten a few feet away from. He would’ve been pushed off the platform by the attack if he had not stabbed his sword into the platform cutting a deep gash into the surface as he slid back and eventually coming to a stop near the edge. Although his body was resisting, Deshi managed to pull himself back up onto his feet, not feeling the pain the spell had given him. His body however, was a battered mess of cuts, to be bruises, and burns. His already light clothing was torn, but he did not seem to mind as he stood once more.
The singed and bent feathers on his back ruffled in the wind as the packs on his waist shifted lightly with his movement somehow undamaged from the attack. As he stood, the heavy chain at his side jingled lightly as his eyes that had turned grey scanned the area, taking in the situation at hand. Vincent was facing off against the woman attached to the creature…who happened to be on the platform with Deshi. He saw where damage was done and where it was not done, quickly formulating a plan as his eyes flickered briefly to the newcomer to the battle. The new comer was a second blonde, a man that he had somehow not heard enter during the chaos of the woman’s attack. He seemed to be riding upward on of the carts aiming to help the man in red. Another ally then? Good. They could use all the help they could against the creature/woman.
In any case after surveying the scene, the man fully controlled by the Beast began his own attack as Crimson Rose shifted from sword to scythe, but unlike before there was no madness and the wounds that were usually healed when the Void was unleashed did not get healed here. He remained damaged, but it did not sway his focus as the man made a quick note of what he was capable of. Like the Void, the Beast could not use the elements outside of light and dark; however, this did not matter. Darkness and Light was all it needed to contend with the weapon and woman.
Setting its eye on the woman, he seemed to randomly be pointing in her direction before, dashing forward as a strange smoky substance surrounded his hand. When he was close, he pushed himself off the ground firing Dark directly at the woman in an attempt to blind her for a bit; however, whether his attack was successful or not he did not stop to see. He moved passed the woman before pivoting around with his scythe held in both hands. As he spun, he brought the heavy blade right towards the woman’s chest hoping to damage her with a heavy spinning blow from his scythe… how successful he’d be was yet to be determined. __________________________________________________________________
~Cooldown~[/u]
- Dark: Dark can only be canceled out with light or a shield, no matter if it is a ball or rope. This one appears as a smokey grey substance around Deshi’s hand. Unlike the other elements, he does not snap his finger. The warning sign is a point. He points at his target before summoning this smoke. He’ll fling out the smoke towards a target and if hit, this thing blinds a person for 1 post. It has a 4 posts cooldown.
Light:[/u] Like ice, or lightning you have to listen out for certain words and action. Cooldown: 4 posts.
Ropes of Earth:[/u] These aren’t ropes, but instead four pillar that attempt to hit targets from underneath. If hit, they cause moderate physical damage and if you are light enough to be tossed upward by the pillar, you’ll be taking more damage if you hit the ground. Cooldown: 1 post rest.

(OOC: Sorry if this post isn't as big, typed this out late at night on a night I wasn't owing any other important posts, and just wanted to bump/update this awesome thread. I will probably look it over again and add more to it in the morning, but the jist of what happens will be the same.)
As one hero returned and another familiar one to Vincent join in the fray to assist, both their attacks would strike their targets, Ruby Weapon injured by Cloud's Braver and Scarlet blinded by Dark and struck across the chest with the scythe. Scarlet shrieked horribly as she took damage, but she was retracted from atop the gondola from the cables connected to her from Ruby Weapon, reeling in and attaching herself to Ruby Weapon's chest where she had emerged. Then, Ruby Weapon took a massive swing and took down the wires of the gondola that kept it suspended high in the air around the Gold Saucer. "Follow my lead." Vincent hung onto the top of the Gondora for safety reasons, as should anyone atop the Gondola who did not have the means of flight to get around as Genesis could.
The wiring of the Gondola was cut clean in half and most of the cable caught in the breaks on the side of the direction the gondola was headed, causing the whole thing to plummet like a type swing down towards the tower it was attached to on the other side, which unfortunately because of the strain of the entire weight of the carriage began to topple over as well. Vincent waited for a right moment, then jumped off the gondola onto the leaning tower as it exploded into flames, running up the length of the tower and jumped off onto Ghost Square moments before the wiring of the tower, too caused itself to explode once it hit the ground. Big plumes of smoke and fire billowed up in to the sky, as well as scattered twisted metal everywhere, only adding to the hell that was this chaos.
Hoping people had followed his directions to safety and checking to make sure all were okay, he gave a nod back to Cloud as he appeared, then continued. The tower had toppled over onto the platform of Ghost Square, and Vincent began hopping up the building of the hotel in this distract just as the giant Ruby Weapon began climbing up the platform and loomed over the rooftop. It was here where Vincent stopped his hopping so he could become level with the roof, and out from Ruby Weapon's chest Scarlet appeared again. Instantly she shot out a big burst of magic from her guns, a multicolored swirl of gargantuan non-elemental energy that exploded onto the rooftop, Ultima attempting to hit the entire group. Next came the devastating Whirlsand to ravage the entire group once again, a giant sand tornado gusting up around both Ruby Weapon and Scarlet as they raised their arms up and glowed red in unison, before the dust hurricane blasted though. Anyone that was hit would feel the energy rechanging their abilites drained, as if reset to just after they had used them.
Both struck by the area spells and bowled over by their sheer power, Vincent and even Hades got up, dusting themselves off and preparing to counter-strike. Hades landed on the rooftop as it followed silently after it's master, doing a sequenced combo where it aimed to wrap it's cauldron chain around the smaller Scarlet to pull her in, then hacked at her with the Hades Sword for a one-two hit combo. Vincent added to the mix with Cerberus, having to stick with his guns and not his magic since Ruby Weapon resisted them all, strafing around the edge of the damaged rooftop of the three-story building and firing tri-bullets into Ruby Weapon directly. Ruby Weapon's tentacles had shifted to plug itself directly into the Ghost Square's power grid, lacing into a power box at the back of the hotel. If someone were to damage these tentacles it would most likely drastically reduce the WEAPON's power, or alternatively they could destroy the power-box...

The Beast was not sure where the others who had joined the fight had gone, but at the moment he did not care as long as he could not see them and had to worry about potential targets to avoid. Instead, he focused on the two he was aiding -- the blonde and the man in crimson that were currently on the Gondola cart and attacking the creature in full. Leaving the air-borne fighting to the two, the Beast focused on the woman on the platform with him. He made his attacks and briefly saw the blonde attack too as he moved unsure if his plan would work or not.
However, all worries were put at ease as the attacks upon both the strange woman and creature were successful, the blonde man landing a strike upon the ruby colored beast, while Deshi’s attacks met the woman who was on the platform. She was blinded and struck, letting out an ear splitting howl as the blade made contact with her armored chest; however, the scream had no effect on the Beast who was in control of the man. It simply shook its head slightly as it forced itself to become deaf to the sounds of destruction all around and simply focus on the target before him.
As he landed, Deshi rose quickly and attempted another swing at the woman; however, the tentacles attached to her decided to reel her back into the creature’s chest where she had come from causing him to hit air instead.
“Tch,” was all the Beast said as he watched his prey escape for the time being; however, his grey eyes did not linger on the direction his prey had been whisked away in for long. Quickly his eyes shifted as the weapon took a swing at the gondola, bringing its large arm down and through the thick cables that held the ride up. With a sickening crunch, screech, and snap the wires were cut in half and sent flying while the large carts themselves made a downward swing towards a the tower that acted as support for the large ride taking his allies to what appeared to be their doom; however, Deshi have time to worry about his allies' fate. No, he had a problem of his own to contend with.
The wires that were snapped loose by the blow flew in their own directions, some whacking dangerously into the platform Deshi was on. The Beast heard the creak and moan and then the distinct snap of the platform breaking under the assault of the wires, forcing him to leap towards danger rather than away from it. As he pushed off the crumbling platform and leaped into the air, he saw a wire swinging towards him and quickly adjusted his position so that when they met, it was the inside curve of the scythe meeting the dangerously swinging snakes instead of his body. Using his scythe like a hook, Deshi slid along the falling structure making sure to keep his momentum high enough to sling himself off of wires as they ended and around or onto the larger obstacles that were the carts. It was a tricky run, but the mercenary was able to make it to the tower more or less unharmed only to have to go with the flow as the tower began to fall thanks to the carts crashing into it. Pushing off before the structure crashed fully into the other side, Deshi curled himself slightly so that he tumbled rather than landed on his feet when he entered the next section. He let the roll take off some of the momentum from the swing and run before digging his scythe into the ground to bring himself to a halt. Kneeling and breathing a bit hard, the Beast turned its grey colored eyes to the area around it quickly scanning around for enemies and allies alike.
He wasn’t sure where the bulk of the people went as it seemed only himself, the blonde, and the man in crimson had come down so far; however, he was sure that the others could take care of themselves well enough, so he didn’t worry about those that had yet to show up, but instead he focused on finding the blonde and crimson clad man.
Dusty, battered, bleeding from minor wounds, but otherwise in one piece, the Beast's grey colored eyes eventually landed on the man in crimson and upon making eye contact, he gave the other a simple nod to let him know that he was okay before watching as the other began to hop onto the rooftops to meet the giant that was beginning to make its way over to the new arena.
Getting to his feet, the Beast made his way over to the building planning to climb up and aid Vincent; however, he found himself instead diving for cover as a large area spell was unleashed. It rocked the area destroying the small cover he had and knocking him across the area causing him to gain scrapes and bruises as he was pushed roughly along the hard ground. A bit shaky, Deshi attempted to get up wondering what on earth had been unleashed upon the rooftops to be able to effect him in such a way down below. As he pushed himself up, he took note of blood coming from his side, but had no time to see how bad the wound was as a second spell followed the first. This one also knocked the mercenary about like a rag doll as he shut his eyes against what felt like sand assaulting his body. He felt himself being thrown about and being whacked into things as he tried to figure out up from down. There was so much movement in those few short minutes that when Deshi finally did come to a stop, it took his mind a second to realize he was still and it took his body an extra second to reorient itself with the stillness.
Opening his eyes and blinking a bit to stop his world from spinning, Deshi looked around from his position lying on his back on the ground taking note that Vincent and his summon was getting back up and going in to deal more damage to the now exposed woman.
With a light grunt, Deshi pushed himself into a sitting position pausing as a wave of light headedness and sleepiness hit him. Remembering that side wound, Deshi looked over at it wondering if perhaps it was worse than he first thought; however, upon examining it, he found that the wound was not a deep one, despite its jagged look, so blood loss was definitely not the cause of the strange feeling. No, he would survive from the wound, but it still needed to be covered, so he reached into his medical pouch and pulled out a few bandages quickly wrapping up the wound before getting to his feet.
He swayed slightly in exhaustion as if he had used one too many powers at one time. An odd thing considering he had spaced what he did out well. Maybe it was one of those spells that hit him that did this too him or maybe he was more tired from this battle than he thought. The latter didn’t seem likely, but it really didn’t matter at the moment. What mattered was making the weapon and woman pay for whatever they had done to him.
With revenge on its mind, the Beast shook its head to clear it before taking note that some tentacles had decided to snake their way into the back of the hotel in the area and once more began pulling power from some form of generator. Having about enough of the power charging abuse, the Beast's eyes flashed in anger as it headed through the smoke, fire, and debris towards the tentacles and the power box, grabbing the scythe as he passed by the weapon still lodged in the ground.
Upon approaching the tentacles, the Beast raised its scythe and swung down heavily at a downward angle. His aim was at the tentacles and the box combined, but whether or not he hit the tentacles, his scythe would tear into the generator causing it to fall clean in half as it sparked and sputtered its last bit of life out....

Although his friend was not one for words, Cloud and Vincent were very close friends. Vincent was often the voice of reason, he was often the one that gave sage advice to whomever needed it and most of the time, it was Cloud that needed it. Vincent was always there to bail out Cloud too. When Cloud was locked in a heated battle with Kadaj and his "brothers" and he was on the losing end, Vincent swooped him and helped him. Vincent was not a man that was there when you wanted him to be there...however he was a man that was there when you needed him to be there, whether you realized it or not. Vincent's timing was excellent, that much was certain. Cloud gripped his two swords tightly as he kept his eyes on the blond woman before him. After keeping his mako colored eyes on her, he began to realize that this whole situation was more complicated and more strange than it really was. Cloud recognized the woman that had been attached to Ruby WEAPON...and Cloud was not a fan of this woman...
This woman's name was Scarlet. She was the Head of Weapons Development and Research for the Shinra Electric Power Company. She was one of very few that had been close to President Shinra and his son Rufus Shinra. Cloud didn't know her personally through his time working for Shinra...however, he knew enough about her to know that she was not a kind woman in any way, shape, or form. How was it that she was able to come back? How was she able to revive Ruby WEAPON, that is, if she even had a hand in reviving this terrible monster at all? Cloud's eyes widened at the sight of her. Could this mean that everyone that had died and left this universe had come back to life? How was she even able to fight as a synergistic unit with this animalistic, instinctive monster?
Cloud shook his head in slight disbelief...but he didn't let this new discover rattle him. He had a fight to win. He had friends and people to protect. He couldn't let this fused beast of Scarlet and the Ruby WEAPON run free. Cloud began to ready another attack but it was then that the monster swiped at the cords holding the Gondolas. As soon as that happened, Cloud looked to Vincent and Vincent told him to follow him. As the Gondola began to descend like a swing, Cloud used his powerful legs to jump for the Gondola that Vincent had been hanging on to. In midair, he sheathed both his First Tsurugi and the asymmetrical serrated blade attachment that he had in both his hands so that he could have full use of his hands. There was no need to have his weapons in his hand at this point since they were trying to get to a advantageous point so that they may continue their attack run and take this creature down. He landed on top of the Gondola but he soon found himself hanging from it as well just as Vincent was. Cloud looked ahead of him to see the tower that had been supporting the Gondola on the Ghost Square's end starting to fall because of all the weight. Vincent was ahead of Cloud when it came to what Cloud was thinking...they had to jump... Cloud made a leap of faith over onto the leaning tower. Cloud, in midair, unsheathed his asymmetrical serrated blade attachment and stabbed it into the falling tower and had his feet come into contact with the falling tower. He then pushed himself up into the air, using his genetically enhanced power to jump to unbelievable heights onto the Ghost Square, following his friend Vincent close behind.
Cloud then unsheathed his First Tsurugi that had the hollow blade and one of the asymmetrical serrated blades attached to it and gave a nod to Vincent. There was also a third man there, a grey haired man with a scythe. Cloud greeted the third member of their three-man party with a nod and they followed Vincent to the hotel building that was in the Ghost Square. He followed Vincent up to the roof of the hotel, running up its walls to the roof but before Cloud could truly act, they were attacked. Scarlet had thrown a strong magic attack while the Ruby WEAPON launched an attack that was all too familiar for Cloud's liking, Whirlsand... Cloud tried to block it turning his humongous blade to its flat side and tried hide himself behind it but the force and power of Scarlet and the Ruby WEAPON had proved too much. Cloud was then forced back, or rather blasted back by the strong attack. However, being used to this attack, Cloud simply got back up, having been put through more than this. Even though the attack did indeed hurt, despite the bruises and cuts that Cloud had received in the attack, Cloud learned to fight through injury. He pretty much had to, given the enemies that he had to face over the years. Cloud watched as Vincent and his summon made their move, with Vincent attacking with his handgun and his guardian attacking Scarlet.
It was then that Ruby WEAPON's tentacles shot out. The tentacles looked as if they were trying to hit Cloud but they went around him strangely. Cloud ran to see where the tentacles were headed and they seemed to have connected themselves to a fuse box or power box of some sort. The grey haired man seemed to be angered by it so he left in the direction of where the tentacle were. Cloud deduced that this man was going to do something about it so Cloud decided to start his own attack run. Cloud connected the asymmetrical serrated blade attached that he had in his hand to the backside of the blade of the First Tsurugi, opposite of where the first asymmetrical serrated blade was attached. He then swung his mighty blade and it began to glow blue. He then held it behind his back and jumped to the air and swiftly swung at the air, initiating his Meteorain attack. Six meteors then materialized in the air and they shot down upon Ruby WEAPON with amazing velocity and force; Cloud had hoped that this would be enough to put this monster away, Cloud thought this all to be a bit too strange...even for his liking...
Powers Used:
Braver: Cloud moves in toward his enemy with outstanding speed. He then jumps up and delivers a powerful downward slash onto the enemy with brute force. This move was even so strong that it was able to crack the skull of Bahamut SIN. ((3 post cooldown; reset due to Whirlsand))
Meteorain: This attack from Cloud is a bit stronger than the others. Cloud begins to spin his blade rapidly, he then jumps high into the air and swings his blade across and then(spontaneously, I might add) meteors begin to fly from the sky above onto his enemy. This is a strong wide area attack that can cause great damage to his enemies. ((4 post cooldown))

(OOC: Until Deshi gets back and others join, looks like it's just you and me, Cloud.)
As the generator was destroyed, the tentacles retreated out of the high-voltage unit as a deep sound of pain resonated from the creature. Scarlet also screeched in tandem with Ruby Weapon as Meteorain hit, the damage tearing away chunks of Ruby weapon armor almost too unbearable to hear. "Time to die, AVALANCHE." Scarlet sneered, as the cables connecting her to Ruby Weapon detached again, clutching her eyes as her Blind effect began to wear off. Ruby Weapon attacked for her, using Big Swing of it's giant forearms. The gigantic arms tore through the ghost hotel like it was a house of cards, wood and debris flying everywhere. Vincent and Hades were smashed into the ground by the creature, Valentine grunting as he pushed himself up, realizing the entire building was shaking as it was about to collapse. Not only that, as the entire platform that ghost Square was sitting on was buckling tremendously under Ruby Weapon's weight, it feel like there was an earthquake underfoot as Vincent and Hades staggered from side to side, if something wasn't done quickly then Ghost Square's platform would break off and collapse into the other two squares down below.
The next Square was not that much further up, the very top of the Gold Saucer; Vincent gestured Cloud and the others to follow quickly. There was a maintence gate not too far off from the haunted-themed hotel, which allowed staff to quickly travel up the catwalks and walkways to the next square, and with Hades still active he directed the summon to use his chained cauldron like a grappling hook to latch and swing over to it. As both summon and master climbed up the walkways, Ruby Weapon was in hot pursuit, climbing up the wall after them and bashing away the platforms and stairs seconds after the group had just been on it. Vincent used the opportunity to shoot as he clambered upwards, hopping from one piece of metal to the next, shooting Cerberus once again at the Weapon before disappearing into the hatch he opened that would lead them into Event Square.
There was an elevator which would have carried them upwards, but it had been locked down and stalled, due to the emergency alarm that had been activated when Ruby Weapon had first attacked. Instead, the group emerged from a access hatch, appearing on a stage. This was the same square Cloud would recognize when he brought his date here and was dragged into a play, although unfortunately there had been one taking place at the time of the attack. Now the place looked like it was under attack, with chairs and lifeless people littered everywhere, and unfortunately rogue WRO soldiers. To add to the chaos, several Heartless had detected the frenzy of lost hearts, Shadows, Soldier and Fortuneteller Heartless currently engaged fighting the zombie-like WRO forces.
As Vincent and company entered, they all turned their attention on them, until Hades swung the chain of it's cauldron to knock them all down and clear a path. The Emblem's hearts went floating skywards, and the WRO officers were knocked over, finished off when suddenly a bunch of tentacles from the emerging Ruby Weapon stabbed into them and turned them into Lifestream energy to be absorbed. The massive weapon pulled itself over the side of Event Square, Scarlet laughing callously as she lowered herself down onto the ground with the cables that attached her to Ruby Weapon again. On either side of Ruby Weapon, the two tentacles emerged once again, the right MP-draining tentacle attacking Cloud while the HP-draining left one lashed at Vincent. The ex-turk groaned painfully as it cut through his leather clothing on his chest, a diagonal slash of blood seen clearly seeping from his chest.
"Time to die, Valentine!" Scarlet continued to maniacally laugh, shooting her guns in a humungous burst of dark energy, Shadow Flare nigh-instantaneously exploding into him. Sent flying, Vincent spun uncontrollably before hitting the ground, rolling while pushing himself up from a kneel back onto his feet. The gunman was quick to counter-attack, launching himself from the ground at Scarlet with a flying kick, slashing vertically with his claws into her face, when slashing upwards with the point of his boot with a flip-kick. He landed and stumbled backwards slightly, battle-damaged and worn, but not down for the count yet. Scarlet screamed and covered her face, reeling backwards as the tentacles lashed out from Ruby Weapon as if in mutual unison, more corrupted WRO soldiers and Heartless beginning to drop in around this nightmarish battle.
