"Alright, good first round, not great, and I've definitely seen better, but good. Ain't none of ya deserve to be a hero yet!"As the lineup for the second round was announced Phil continued. "We got some good match-ups this round, but lemme give you a piece of advice. If you wanna be a hero, then I got two words for ya: Don't give up!" Posting Order: Selena, then Terra-Xehanort End Date: March 15.

The previous match had certainly been an interesting one despite her opponent’s unlucky streak. It had kept the winged warrior on her toes and Whatever had yet to cease to not catch her by surprise even though she was able to use his luck as her advantage. The dark keybearer thankfully hadn’t taken too much damage and was mostly sweaty and even a bit dusty from all the flying she did though most of her power had been well-spent using her demonic forms Pheynix and Eblis. I should work on my magical endurance so I could perhaps maintain them for a bit longer… mused ‘Artemis’ as she wandered back into the lounge and headed for the Healing Fountain. She quietly leaned forward a bit as her hands cupped into the healing waters and took a large handful to sip. ‘Artemis’ faintly smiled after feeling the refreshing effects of the cold water down her throat and briefly wondered if the water really did have magical healing properties or it was all a flux and it was just plain water fooling everyone to believe it was magical by belief and the refreshing effect alone.
Her eyes glanced at the line up and raised a brow at some of the names though there were quite a few she wasn’t surprised on finding on the list. Genesis Rhapsodos was a name that she would only be surprised only if he wasn’t on the list. Heh. I will defeat you when our paths cross, Genesis. ‘Artemis’ mused as she read down the list. There were a few names she was already familiar with though there were others she simply wasn’t such as Azalea and Sephiroth. Hm… She turned her head toward the waters and caught her own reflection complete with a smudge of dirt on her right cheek. Sighing, the woman dipped her fingers into the cool waters and lightly rubbed it off. She did need to keep up with appearances after all.
“Hey Artemis, stop staring into the waters or you’ll end up like Narcissus!” With a confused expression, the dark keybearer quickly turned around then looked down at the satyr who had been standing right behind her. She blinked and her expression shifted to contemplation as if trying to think of who Narcissus was, but her mind came up with a blank. A question mark practically floated above her head. “…Who?” She asked as Phil sighed. “Nevermind Artie. You’re up next against a potentially tough opponent. If ya want to win, I got four words for you. Don’t hold back.” advised Phil as he began to run out of the lounge and into the coliseum where the roars and cheers of the audience could be heard.
Artemis merely stood there for few moments before shaking her head with a chuckle and soon began to walk out with her cloak billowing out behind her. She briefly waves at the audience before removing the cloak from her own body, unintentionally earning a few cat calls and whistles from the males in the audience in the process as she tossed it aside, to reveal her own ebony wings before summoning her infamous Heartsickness keyblade to her hand. “Coming up first is the mysterious fallen angelic keybearer. Everyone give welcome to the Nightmare of the Coliseum, Artemis!!” The winged warrior had no doubt that her Heartsickness’ special ability to poison her opponent would help her to win the match. If what Phil said about her opponent’s strength was true, then Selena can’t afford to hold back though she had already sworn not to ever use Moonlit Chaos again after the fiasco with Claire. However, she will wait for whoever her opponent was to arrive before making quick judgment as to whether or not if that limit break would even be needed for this round.

The first round of the tourney had come to an end, and before the judges could even get the final results out, the satyr was quick to start the second one. Not a single entrant even had time to rest up between the matches. Luckily, Terra-Xehanort hadn’t received much damage in his confrontation with Zack Fair, so he didn’t need much time to recover from that battle.
Again, Terra-Xehanort did not care whether he won or loss. His mission at this tournament was simple enough that he did not need a victory to accomplish it. He was only here to scout for a potential vessel for Master Xehanort. He did need to fight his absolute hardest, though, because a vessel needed to potentially be as strong as he was, or perhaps even stronger.
Terranort didn’t manage to catch his opponent before the match, but Phil was quick to warn him that she’d progressed far in the tournament on a number of occasions. That meant that she could potentially be strong enough for a vessel, and, hopefully, she had the darkness in her heart to submit to the will of a Xehanort.
He couldn’t help but hear her introduction as he made his way to the entrance. He didn’t even really notice an announcer in his first round, but he wasn’t really worried about the public anyway. He would just as well prefer turn them all into Heartless and continue about his day. However, he did manage to hear the name Artemis. That did sound vaguely familiar, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. This too could possibly be another acquaintance from his former self, Terra.
”Coming next is a veteran of the arena! He won the Games over 10 years ago, and he is making another astounding return to the arena. Ladies and Gentlemen, its our very own hero, Terra!” As Terra-Xehanort finally entered the ring, he removed his hood and made his presence known. ‘Artemis’ might not immediately recognize this Xehanort, because although the face and the body was the same, his skin had taken a much darker tone, his eyes had turned a burning amber, and he now had bright silver locks of hair. This was a trademark of a Xehanort vessel, and Terra had joined the darkness since his last encounter with the winged keyblader. Immediately, Terranort caught that familiar sweet scent of darkness. His first opponent was far from this one, and she was ripe with the darkness. Good…I can use her darkness to my advantage. By taking a second glance at his opponent, Terra-Xehanort figured she was not one for a close range combat. He also sized her up as someone who preferred the air, which any moron could tell from the wings upon her back. Xehanort would have to keep her grounded if he wanted the advantage. Therefore, he went in quick and, after erupting in a dark aura, decided his Dark Impulse would be the best start to this battle. He dashed forward immediately spinning into a diagonal slash from the left side of her ribs through her right shoulder. He immediately continued the combination with a vertical slash through the very same right side of her body and a horizontal slash through her ribs. A final diagonal slash, this time ending upon her right thigh, and Terranort actually sunk into the ground and became one with her shadow. He finished his melee combination by leaping up behind her and projecting a gigantic black and red fist from his own palm, in an uppercut directed at the back of her head. Terra-Xehanort meant to catch her off guard from the very beginning, and continue this battle until she let every bit of her darkness come to the forefront. He needed to see every ounce of her strength before it was all said and done. Because of this, he did not give her a moment of rest after finishing his physical onslaught. Whether all his attacks connected or not, Terranort immediately formed Master Xehanort’s keyblade into a massive cannon and launched his Ultima Cannon at her backside. Now he’d launched two powerful attacks at her blind spot, and he was immediately curious as to how she’d dealt with them. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Actions Used: 1. Dark Impulse (Combination starting on her front side and finishing with the fist attacking the back of her head) 2. Ultima Cannon (At Selena’s backside) Cooldowns: Ultima Cannon: 2 post cooldown Dark Impulse: 3 post cooldown[/blockquote]

Her eyes briefly widened in recognition as her sight sets on someone who appeared too familiar and just as Phil announced his name. Terra? Those same icy eyes narrowed at him as her mind quickly slapped her Heart with the noticeable differences: amber eyes, dark skin and silver hair. No…This is not Terra…Who are you? She didn’t allow herself to get shaken up like the previous round with Whatever but her mind quickly set to work on what she remember of Terra from her previous encounters as the physical resemblance was undeniable. Terra had been slow but his blows were very strong to the point where she remembered worrying that her bones might break underneath the force of impact. Thus as the ‘imposter’ ran toward her, the dark keybearer shifted to the demon form of Eblis at the realization that he seemed to be faster than the man she mistook him for. If Terra-Xehanort really had been Terra, he would have been slower. The Nightmare quickly leapt backward to avoid the initial first three slashes aimed at her torso but even she could not have been prepared for the strike on her right thigh. “Ngh!” ‘Artemis’ swiftly turns around to see where he had gone only to find no-one there, Where did he-?! She suddenly found herself falling face-first onto the ground after her opponent’s fist successfully impacted with the back of her head. Ow.. As the dark keybearer scrambled to get up, a sharp pain like fire ignited in her right thigh causing her to cry out and initially kept her from standing back up. With a hand on her wounded thigh, she did crane her neck to look over her shoulder so she could see what he was doing. Damnit….I won’t lose here!! In the corner of her eye, ‘Artemis’ caught the familiar form of Terra forming a particular canon that she remembered so well. Rapidly shifting her body so that she could be facing toward him, the Nightmare raises her Heartsickness blade up and shoots Void Extinction at the Ultima Canon. The collision of the two forces would cause an immediate explosion that would send her to fly backward but she would use the situation to her advantage by spreading both of her Wings of a Fallen Angel to keep her off the ground especially while her thigh was still wounded, one could see little red rivers of blood on the dark leather of the thigh high boot then drip onto the Coliseum floor below. However, she was not done yet. With a wave from her keyblade, ‘Artemis’ had decided that she had needed backup and summoned Umbra Wolf’s Fang to help her take down her opponent. The wolf of darkness snarls at Terranort as it slowly stalked toward him. It had seen the wound on Master’s thigh and it wasn’t going to forgive him for it so expect little to no mercy. Umbra charges at Xehanort then leaps at him, intending to kill him on the spot. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Actions Used: 1) Dodged part of Terra’s Dark Volley 2) Void Extinction at the Ultima Canon 3) Umbra attacking Terra, aiming to kill Abilities Used: Wings of an Fallen Angel: The ebony wings on Selena's back allows her to fly to great heights and jump higher than any normal human would. Unfortunately, it hinders her ability to physically run [unless she's flying too close to the ground], by making her slow. They are also a nuisance when near water especially since she has little to no ability to swim. [~Passive~] Eblis: Appearance With the darkness of her heart, Selena takes on the form of a dragon-like demon of the night. During battle, the most notable difference between this form and her normal form is the increase in speed and strength but a considerable decrease in defense. [Duration: 5 Posts] Void Extinction: A powerful blast of Darkness shoots from either her keyblade or her hand at the intended target. It may be used normally and in her Dark Form. It can also be used in battle and outside of battle. [Cooldown: 2 Posts] Umbra Wolf's Fang: A wolf of darkness comes out of her keyblade and attacks the opponent. It may team up with Selena during the two post duration. It is large enough to be ridden by Selena and/or any of her allies. Can be summoned together with Wolf's Fang. [HP Count: 8][Duration: 2 Posts] [Ride-able!] [OOC: It's too early for me to work on posting. x.x]

With the battle now well underway, Terra-Xehanort was very successful with his first set of attacks against the winged keyblader, Artemis. The Ultima Cannon wasn’t successful, but his physical onslaught made up for that as he noticed the dark keyblader caught herself with her wings after dismissing the cannon.
Before long, Selena sent her own attack, in the form of a gigantic wolf lunging for Xehanort’s throat. Terranort quickly placed his keyblade between the beast’s jaws and began to fight its pressure with his own. Now, taking a moment, the vessel realized something: Selena had some sort of recognition when she had seen Terra-Xehanort’s face. This just happened to be another figure from Terra’s past that ended up as a second opponent in this tournament. Enter the mind games. Terranort quickly altered his voice to match the earthen keyblader’s.
”Artemis! Are you trying to kill me?! This is supposed to be a friendly tournament!” Now seeking to take what he hoped was surprise and couple it with a surprise attack of his own, Terranort quietly summoned his Guardian, but he did NOT summon the beast to his side. Instead the symbiote quietly appeared behind ‘Artemis’ and attempted to grab her from behind. The plan was then to have dark entity leap high into the air and slam the winged keyblader into the ground. Terra-Xehanort couldn’t see whether or not his attack had achieved the desired affect, but he’d hoped his Dark Shadow had successfully caught his opponent off guard. If this woman was destined to become a vessel for Xehanort, she’d surely have to work for it, and prove that she was strong enough to join the Thirteen Darknesses. Xehanort would not let his intentions become known until he saw what the winged keyblader could accomplish. As the Guardian returned to his side, with Terra-Xehanort still tied up with the powerful Umbra’s Fang, Terranort knew he needed to continue to attack, before she had a chance to recompose herself. With hopes that she was on the ground, still reeling from his Dark Shadow technique, Guardian slammed his mighty fists into the ground, sending two shockwaves straight for the winged keyblader. Shock Slash would add insult to injury if he was lucky. ”Let this wolf off me so we can fight fair!” Yes, it was underhanded to use his former self to play at her heart, but Terranort did need to see how strong her light was as well as her darkness. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Actions: 1.Summoned Guardian 2. Dark Shadow 3. Shock Slash Cooldowns: Ultima Cannon: 1 post Dark Impulse: 2 posts Dark Shadow: 3 posts Shock Slash: 2 posts Guardian: Active for 3 more posts. Note: Sorry about the short post. Her head throbbed painfully as she stared down momentarily and flinches at the realization that it was Terra’s voice she was hearing. I either must have hit my head harder than I thought… Or a distraction which means…Play along for now. The dark keybearer glared down at him, “I’d ask you the same thing when you tried to cut my leg off.” She felt a cold breeze on her wounded leg as the Guardian came up from behind her but as Selena swiftly turned around to deal with the surprise attack, she couldn’t react in time to prevent herself from being grabbed and then slammed into the ground but not without a potential fatality on the Guardian. She had adjusted the position of her Heartsickness keyblade so that when she took the impact, the Guardian may be impale in his upper torso and poisoned by her keyblade ability. “G-gah…” gasped the Nightmare as she quickly rolled away from the Guardian but attempted to slash at its side. Her wounded leg felt useless as she couldn’t feel anything but fire. She lightly touched the wound and bit her lip to keep herself from crying out in pain. ‘Artemis’ subconsciously knew that she needed to finish this match as fast as possible as even now she could see that this was becoming a potential death match especially with her leg as it is right now. The dust and the dirt of the arena could very well cause her leg to get an infection if she didn’t take care of it right away. Spreading her wings out again, it took a few large flaps to get her off the ground again and unintentionally avoiding the Guardian’s Shock Slash. Also with her leg in its current condition, she can’t fight efficiently on the ground. She needed to solely fight in aerial combat and it was taking her a bit. The Nightmare shook her head a few times to help rid herself of the headache but Terra’s voice still rang in her ears which caused her to glare down at him with an expression that stated that she was not amused with his little mind game. His build, his shape was that of Terra’s but it wasn't him. The Terra she knew didn't have silver hair or darker skin. The Terra she knew would also never resort to using the darkness. This was not Terra. “Oh shut yer gob an’ stahp complaining. The answer iz hell no.” answered ‘Artemis’ not even realizing that the throbbing headache from Terra’s earlier attacks brought back her home world’s accent, strangely similar to Scottish, that she had lost during her decade of traveling the universe alone only due to the fact that she was able to understand what she was saying. Whether or not Terranort understood what she just said was a completely different story. With that said and likely just to spite Terranort, ‘Artemis’ summoned Wolf’s Fang to go join its brother on the game of “Who Can Chew Terra’s Throat Out First” and leaps at Terranort. ~~~~~ Actions: 1] Attempted to Impale the Guardian while being slammed into the ground/Dark Shadow 2] Attempted to slash at the Guardian 3] Summoned Wolf’s Fang and the wolves are still trying to chew out Terra Abilities Used: Wings of an Fallen Angel: The ebony wings on Selena's back allows her to fly to great heights and jump higher than any normal human would. [Duration: 4 Posts] Void Extinction: A powerful blast of Darkness shoots from either her keyblade or her hand at the intended target. It may be used normally and in her Dark Form. It can also be used in battle and outside of battle. [Cooldown: 1 Posts] Umbra Wolf's Fang: A wolf of darkness comes out of her keyblade and attacks the opponent. It may team up with Selena during the two post duration. It is large enough to be ridden by Selena and/or any of her allies. Can be summoned together with Wolf's Fang. [HP Count: 8][Duration: 1 Posts] [Ride-able!] Keyblade Ability: What is special about this keyblade is that it turns the Heart's Blood into a poison that attacks the Heart. It's most effective on Heartless, ironically, but it has no effect on Nobodies. Selena is usually never uses this keyblade to attack people though Black Angel might. The poison will only deplete health until it’s low. No worries. [Cool Down: None.] [Duration: 3 Posts or until healed with a curative spell.] Wolf's Fang: A silver/blood-red wolf out of Heart's Blood comes out of her keyblade and attacks the opponent. It may team up with Selena during the two post duration. It is large enough to be ridden by Selena and/or any of her allies and not be burned. [Duration: 2 Posts] [Ride-able!] [HP Count: 8]

”Its alright, because the Terra you knew no longer exists. He gave his heart to Master Xehanort fully and completely. He and I are one in the same, and we see your ability to realize your full potential. This was a test to see how well you could harness the darkness under your fury’s grasp.”
Alright, mind games weren’t working properly, but that didn’t mean it was necessarily time to end the game completely. With his winged foe definitely feeling the effects of his attacks, he was in a much better position now, even if he did have Scooby and Scrappy nipping at his heels. Once the second wolf was within striking range, Terra-Xehanort released his guard on the first wolf and let them both within a close range. His tactic had changed from defense to offense against the beasts. With Master Xehanort’s keyblade, Terranort swung hard in a circular motion to counter the wolves’ attacks with his powerful Counter Hammer.
Whether or not he had stricken the majestic beasts was inconsequential. What he needed was a break to push away towards his winged foe. Guardian wouldn’t be much of a help from this point forward, due to the puncture wound and slashing wound he’d faced as a result of ‘Artemis’s’ attempt to counter the dark entity. He could tell that it wasn’t the physical wounds that harmed the symbiote, but there was some aspect to her blade that left Guardian feeling weak, a trait that was especially uncommon for the powerful aspect.
Xehanort, however, trusted his skill with a keyblade enough to assure himself that he could prevent himself from being harmed by the blade’s spokes, and he could come out on top of a physical confrontation. Now, having dashed within close range, Terra-Xehanort began slashing at the winged keyblader once more. This time he infused the power of earth into his keyblade. The first slash went from Selena’s right shoulder through her left hip, followed by a nearly vertical slash through her left breast and her mid torso. He then turned himself into another diagonal slash to end on her left shoulder, and a smacking motion, just hard enough to knock a counter strategy from her mind, with his key towards her temple. Finally, he finished with a pair of 360 degree vertical and horizontal slashes before charging earthen energy into his blade into one final slam. Ars Solum’s final attack sent a shockwave throughout the immediate area, and would catch her off guard if she had managed to fully dodge the combination.
During this time, Guardian would deal with the pups. He began charging a massive orb of energy in each of his hands before he launched them, one at a time, at the crimson and dark wolves. Guardian’s Dark Orbs would hold the canines off until Terra-Xehanort could deal with them more properly.

The voice that replaced Terra’s voice gave the dark keybearer a chill that quickly snaked up her spine, through her wings and the rest of her body causing the winged woman to shiver involuntarily. Master Xehanort took over Terra? pondered ‘Artemis’ just as she watched her two wolves Umbra and Wolf’s Fang both get hit by his Counter Hammer with such loud yelps that reached her ears and tore at her own Heart, That can’t be right…Terra would never… Would that happen to me since I am his apprentice? Umbra hadn’t even touched the ground when he disappeared completely leaving Wolf’s Fang alone to deal with the Guardian. The Nightmare quickly struggled to get up on her feet and grimaces at the sharp pain that went up her bleeding thigh. Ignore it…It’s not on fire and it doesn’t hurt…Not at all…It’s frozen…Freezing….Going numb…Go back to Hope… mentally chanted the woman as she focused on her memories of her own home world as Terranort came at her with his combination. To her other hand, came Nostalgic Harvester as she activates her passive Dual Wield ability to help her parry and block off each strike and slash, causing sparks to fly as Terranort’s Earthshaker met with both the Heartsickness and Nostalgic Harvester. Although she mentally blocked out the pain on her wounded thigh with each dangerously graceful yet stiff step she took, the dark keybearer subconsciously focused on keeping much of her weight off that leg. This fight needed to finish and soon. ‘Artemis’ crossed both of her blades together across each other as the acquaintance she once knew slammed his keyblade onto both keys and the shockwave causes her to buckle her wounded leg so that she seemingly knelt before him. Despite the initial pain the shockwave brought to her and it did show through her facial expression, her amber eyes glared at him with such fury at what he had done. “Bullsh**. I know Terra is there lurking, just waiting to take his body and heart back but is being too much of a lousy, lazy whelp to do anything about it.” answered Artemis as she pushed him back with both blades and raised Nostalgic Harvester, pointing it at the possessed keybearer’s general direction and never realized that her accent had returned to normal now that the concussion had faded. The volume of her voice rose to the point where she would scream at the keybearer and furious, her eyes glinting dangerously as the Nightmare voiced her own anger and fury at the possessed man who must be hiding the corners of his Heart. Meanwhile Wolf’s Fang, leapt but gets hit from the Dark Orbs though it quickly stood back up and ran toward the Guardian in an attempt to tackle him down and hopefully finish him off with a chomp at its face. “If you can hear me Terra, stop your own godda** moping and take your body back already before I do a number on you. Were you afraid of failing?! Afraid of losing someone precious?! What were you thinking?! ‘OH MASTER XEHANORT, PLEASE MASTER XEHANORT, GIVE ME ALL OF THE POWERS OF DARKNESS SO I CAN PROTECT MY FRIENDS MASTER XEHANORT! GIVE ME A BIG SLOPPY KISS ON MY DUMBA** BRAIN AND HEART MASTER XEHANORT!’ IDIOT!! FEAR ISN’T EVIL; IT SHOWS US WHAT OUR WEAKNESSES ARE SO WE CAN GROW STRONGER AND PROTECT WHAT IS PRECIOUS!!! SO WAKE UP BEFORE I KILL YOU WITH MY OWN BLOODY KEYS!!! OR MAYBE I SHOULD RIP OUT YOUR HEART MYSELF AND FEED IT TO THE GODDA** HEARTLESS ON A PRETTY LITTLE PLATTER SINCE YOU DON’T SEEM TO NEED IT ANYWAY! BY THE WAY XEHANORT, I AM DONE BEING YOUR APPRENTICE!” As the woman screamed her daggers at Terra, her power dangerously rose as an aura of both crimson Heart’s Blood and darkness began to consume her as she entered Moonlit Chaos despite her own swear that she wouldn’t dare use it but she was desperate enough to cast it aside. She couldn’t feel her wound anymore as her blood ran cold and her body felt numb. Sweating, Selena panted heavily as she glared hard at Terranort then gritted her teeth. The pupils of her eyes glows a demonic blood red and her hands readied both of her blades by her side. Her wings stretched out and flapped as she floated in the air for a few moments then charged at Terranort with her own deadly slash combination from the air. With both the Heartsickness and Nostalgic Harvester keyblades, the dark keybearer aimed a diagonal from his upper-torso to his waist then another diagonal from his waist to his left breast. The horizontal slash came next then right after that she flipped over to get behind him to aim a final x-slash where its aim depended on Terra’s reaction though she had been originally aiming at his face. She flew back up high into the air to avoid a possible counter. Her Heartsickness' keyblade ability to poison was still very active. Even if Selena Wolfsong could bring Terra back, she still fully intended to kill him for getting himself possessed by a pedophile. ~~~~~~~ Actions Used: 1] Activated Dual Wielding and summons Notstalgic Harvester, Parried/blocked most of Terranort’s combination 2] Wolf’s Fang charges at Guardian to tackle and eat its face 3] Activate Moonlit Chaos and performs her own deadly slash combo Abilities Used: Wings of an Fallen Angel: The ebony wings on Selena's back allows her to fly to great heights and jump higher than any normal human would.
