Naminé waited for her turn in the waiting room with her teammates. She had to admit that it was nice to be in a tournament with someone by your side then going it alone. The memory witch couldn’t figure out but she enjoyed the Coliseum and it fight a lot. Maybe it was the prospect that you could fight but not kill or be killed. It was like training to her and goodness knows she needs it. She went from sitting in a white room drawing pictures not ever fighting to being a Keyblade wielder and tossed into many fights. She wasn’t very good at fighting on her own and hoped that someone would train her but couldn’t bring herself to ask Sora or Riku. That is why she was more than happy when Sora approached her asking if she wanted to be on his team. This way she could see firsthand how a Keyblader fights and use a Keyblade without being on the other end of their weapon. When she fought against Sora she had only learned one trick but now being able to fight alongside him maybe she would learn something else. How knows what may come out of this Tournament this time.
The young Nobody heard her named called and she walked over to the tent door. She stopped and looked back at her teammates. She really didn’t know Snow to well but Sora seemed to like him and that is all that mattered…though Sora seemed to like just about everyone. Naminé found a giggle leave her lips at that thought. She smiled at the two boys and bowed her head. “Good luck.” She said as her head came back up with a smile. She waved to the two of them and crossed the threshold to the outside arena.
The Rules were simple enough to understand. At least two people in each team would have to win their individual fights for the team to move on. She had hoped that she might be one of the people to gain a point for their team. She had been felling pretty worthless as a Keyblader as of lately. She really wanted to show Sora and Snow that she could win sometimes and be a value to them but only time would tell if that was true or not.
Naminé stepped on to the arena floor. The crowed was silent as it was always for her. She guessed they didn’t really know what to make of her. She appeared to be a defense little girl but they have seen her hold her own against Genesis and Sora in these fights…though she did loose in the end. Whether they would ever cheer of not didn’t matter to her. It was much easier for her to concentrate when they were silent like this.
The girl with the blue eyes closed them and took a deep breath. She knew that her team was up against the Ruthless Remnants and it didn’t take someone like Vexen (Scientist) to figure out who was on that Team. The question was which of the brothers she would be facing. She had thought about mounting an attack for when he entered the arena like so many others in their fights had done already but she would figure that she would what to see who it was first. She had experience with attacking something first and only making it stronger after that. Launching a defense would be just as useless when she didn’t even know what attack would be coming at her.
Naminé opened her eyes and awaited her opponent. She kept her stance light. Her feet were a little it apart and facing straight ahead this was so she could easily run to the left or right. She stayed up on her toes giving her the opportunity to jump up or back from an attack. She knew little of fighting as a Keyblader so maybe it would be best to fight as something she did know and use the Keyblade as a fall back. There was only one way to find out.

On one end was Snow, primarily unknown, second we had Sora, which was a good thing to have as an opponent and especially interesting for a first round match, but the third one bothered the Remnant knowing his past involvements with the girl. He had avoided encountering her for a long time now as he had learned of people no longer remembering him after his time in a castle outside the boundaries of time. Whether he was to be frustrated with Ultimecia and her castle or not, didn't really come to his mind.
Remeeting several people did, sort of, bring some enjoyment. Especially ones that he had angered and it was fun to mess around with others. However, since his time having accepted Keldric and Naminé as 'friends', he wasn't too certain what to make of all this. He wasn't going to fight a friend without a very good reason, but a tournament was just a competition. It didn't go as far as killing your opponents and if needed, the Remnant had a healing spell.
If this Snow was the brawler from back at the "Kefka Experience", then he seemed more of an opponent for Loz. We'll just have to see what kind of luck I have, he thought to himself as Yazoo continued his way to the arena. He wished both his brothers luck in their battles and hoped they'd move onward. He and his brother had gotten so far during Kadaj's own tournament cup, the Remnant Cup Tournament, so they should be capable of getting there once more.
Walking into the field, he noted the girl in white, there wasn't much of an emotion on his face and no playful smirk as he'd usually show to a battle. The long-haired Remnant was still not going to make this bother him too much. Perhaps it's even better this way, he figured as he closed his eyes for a bit, wondering how the girl had progressed so far. He opened his eyes with more a softer smile. Slowly he nodded towards Naminé, "good luck."
With this, the match seemed to have started and fire started to spiral around his arm as he lifted it. Then with a downward wave of his arm, a wave of flames came at Naminé as a blade through the air and earth. Yazoo started the battle with a Flare, but crouched his legs immediately after his spell and then leaped into the air in one swift motion. His smile became more playful as he pulled out his gun while turning in the air to shoot over the wave of flames. He unleased several bullets from above while closing the distance between him and Naminé. He planned to land almost in front of her with his leap.

Naminé watched calmly as Yazoo walked out into the arena. Something about him seemed eerily familiar. He cared memories of her. She could see them in his mind. He knew her. The sight of him caused the memory witch to have blurred flashbacks. Such things normally wouldn’t have bothered to the girl because was use to flashbacks of people that Sora had meet before. But these…they weren’t coming from Sora’s memory. She could sift through those and see them clearly however the memories she was having now weren’t her spiky haired, Keyblade wielding teammate’s. The feeling she got was that she met Yazoo before outside of dream, nightmares, and memories. The more she thought about it and tried to make the images clearer the more her head began to spin. This wasn’t that time to get dizzy…but she really wanted to know and in time…possibly in this battle….she may get her wish.
She came out of her intense daze of watching the man enter when he spoke and nodded to her. She smiled innocently at him and returned the nod. “Thank you.” She said. “And good luck to you as well.” It was weird talking to someone that you feel you should know but can’t remember them. It was much like when an old classmate walks up to you years later and cares on a conversation. The whole time you can’t remember them or every going to school with them. But in that instant even the name can be lost to one’s memory. So she was thankful that Sora knew the Remnant as well. She would have felt bad not knowing anything at all about him when he cared memories of her.
Naminé summoned her Keyblade at the sight of the glowing on Yazoo’s arm. She didn’t want to rely too much on a weapon she wasn’t that skilled with in attacking but that didn’t mean it wouldn’t be useful now and again.
When Yazoo’s hand waved downward, her first reaction was to jump because something might be coming from the ground. She used her left foot and was about to slam it down off the ground to push herself in the air, but the sight of the blades of fire and the lightness that her stance had remand in enabled her to change direction more easier. As the Flare came closer she held her ground till the last possible moment, she placed her Keyblade above her head with the hilt in on hand and grabbing the neck of the blade in the other, this would make sure the blade wouldn’t get in the way. She took her left foot that was originally going to be used to launch her into the air and spin it behind her cause her to spin around the blades and out of harm’s way like a ballerina. At the same time she was spinning she heard the sound of gun fire and bullets hitting metal. It would seem that her Keyblade served yet another purpose while over her head. it protected her from the guns though she would be lying if she said that the bullet didn’t graze her hands that were holding the blade in place….it was better than getting a bullet inside of her.
Once Naminé was out of the way and the clear boom of the Flare hitting something was heard all around the arena, she ceased her spin and her key fell to back to her side. She found that she was now looking at the chest of a man covered in leather. Yazoo had landed right in front of her. She looked up into his eyes and new if she didn’t at now another attack was sure to follow. She was to dizzy from the spin to go swinging her Keyblade around and Yazoo was too close to her anyway for her to do any damage from a swing of the blade.
Naminé quickly took the hilt of Destiny’s Embrace and attempted to thrust it into his stomach. “Thunder.” She said softly after the thrust and while still looking into Yazoo’s eyes. If her attack was successful then the two of them would have been showered with lightning bolts doing a bit of damage to the memory witch as well as, and hopefully, Yazoo. It was a risky move since she was affected as well but there wasn’t much of a choice the way she say it. It was either hurt both of them or the long haired remnant would have hurt her with nothing dealt to him.
As the lighting struck the bright light made the memory witch remember. Getting hit with a laser…Something about a computer…..a woman…..no alien….all of it was flashing in her mind. The flashes stopped and the only non blurry picture metalized itself in Naminé’s memory. It was a scene of a shocked and speechless Yazoo looking on in horror. When the Nobody tried to turn her head to see what he was looking in the memory, she found that she came back to her senses and was once again in the Tournament. The Thunder had passed and so did the memory.

The thing that did a little was the appearance of a Keyblade. Well, it is to be expected, he thought to himself and recalled Keldric having handed her his Keyblade as well at one point. All memories of the past.
Still, some of it seemed as if it was only yesterday when we stood in the snow together, recalling the last time he had been with Keldric and Naminé all together. At the time he wore even a suit like those of the Turks, it still felt strange having ever worn those clothes while his old clothes had been damaged greatly.
As Yazoo's attacks did barely anything from what the Remnant could see, he landed before Naminé. Seeing her thrust her keyblade forward, he intercepted it with his Velvet Nightmare. Blocking the thrust, he felt the surge of lightning as he came to notice the shower of lightning bolts. He smirked at Naminé, who seemed to look into his eyes that shined due to Mako energy. His arm was still shining brightly as he thrusted his free arm forward.
"Firaga," was the word that silently left his lips while the palm of his hand opened, trying to aim his arm at Naminé's torso. From his arms a burst of flames was fired, the lightning bolts did hit into his body until he shot the Firaga that blew him a bit back. The Remnant did a backflip in the recoil while his attack was fired straight at the girl. Following it, he tried to quickly spin while upside-down in the air while using his next spell. A white sphere seemed to fly from his arm as he used Explosion.
The orb was thrown at Naminé and would explode upon contact with anything. The Remnant had used this spell with the idea of creating a bit of a smokescreen, since that was one of its effects, hindering sight was also an advantage whle he could prepare his next attack.

Naminé could see the smirk on Yazoo’s face as the lightning fell upon them both. His eyes seemed to glow even more as it reflected the flashes of light. She smiled back at him. Is weapon was pushed against hers from her thrust and his blocking. The close proximity allowed him to fire off his own spell as her was just passing. She felt his hand on her torso as well as the burning sensation of the spell. She was pushed back a bit as well as Yazoo. She placed her hand over her stomach and cringed as he attempted to smother the burn.
The whole time Naminé kept her eyes on Yazoo even though her torso was in pain. Looking away from a guy with guns wasn’t in her best interest and she would rather feel the burn then be shot. As her opponent’s hand began to glow burning his flip she snapped her fingers. As the orb was released and came at her; 4 Dusks entered the playing field. She placed her blade up to block the spell not really sure what it was. One Dusk metalized right in between her and the orb and it exploded on impact. The explosion caused Naminé and the 3 Dusks to fly backwards and hit the ground. The Memory Witches Keyblade landed a few feet away from her head. She could easily reach out and grab a hold of it but instead she sat up. Her hair was all around her face and her dress held Scorched hole across her belly from the burn. Yazoo’s Firaga had revealed the scar that Ansem had inflicted on her so long ago back in castle Oblivion; the day that Ansem attempted to turn her to dusk.
The sound of the explosion still echoed thru Naminé’s ears. The Dusks picked themselves up off the ground as the staggered and shook their heads. They were angry now as the months that were once zipped came open and showed their raiser sharp teeth. The smoke rose from the spells impacted. It was a combination of both the spell and the dust that was created when the Dusk that was hit faded away. As the smoke rose and blanketed the area; Naminé rose from the ground. There was a flash of light but it was not her Keyblade that would reach her hand. You were still able to see the silhouette of the fighters…was Naminé getting taller and her dress longer? The object in her hand got began to grow and get longer and thinner with something looking flanking from the one end. Then the smoke screen went dense concealing everything in the arena.
OOC: Dusk: Up to 4 Dusks come to my aid per battle. Attack: Hitting enemies by slithering between their legs Defense: taking the hit for Naminé so no bodily damage is inflicted on her. It was just an added effect that worked well in Yazoo's favor. It would at least allow him to use his spells faster than usual.
Following his Explosion spell were four Dusks materialising. It wasn't exactly within calculations, but it didn't bother Yazoo at all as he watched as the orb hit one of the Dusks while Naminé held up her Keyblade. The explosion did as he had wanted to start with, to create a smokescreen, but having multiple targets now wasn't exactly in his favor.
Yazoo raised a hand and on the ground two shadows started to circle around the Remnant before slipping forward. Then two Shadow Creepers appeared from the shadows, rushing into the smoke. Let us have some fun, he thought with a smirk while seeing Naminé's silhouette seemingly becoming taller. He didn't know what she was up to, but he figured he could just fire away for the moment.
The original plan on the smokescreen was dropped completely now that he wasn't even sure what Naminé was doing. It seemed to have worked more in her favor than his. Holding his arm stretched forward with his gun aimed at the silhouette that already vanished in the smoke, the Remnant started to fire bullets continuously while his feet started to step forward, but stopped firing as he entered the smoke.
His Shadow Creepers went after the Dusks for now, each of them rushed through the smoke in search for them and when seeing one, the Creeper tried to leap forward with claws and jaws forward to shred it into ribbons.

Naminé’s Dusks had seemed to toss the Remnant for a bit of a loop. However it wasn’t to last as the smoke rose and silhouettes of what looked like to be some kind of dog closed in to seek out the Nobodies. As the growls’ of the summons of Yazoo came from the arena the 3 Dusks rushed into the abyss at the same time. Their teeth still revealed as they tried to seek out the Shadow Creepers.
There might have been three Dusks against two Shadow creepers but though the Dusks had the shadows out matched in number. The shadows clearly out matched there opponents in size. However both had to contend with the smoke. The Dusk would lunge at the dogs if and when they found them from the air this time instead of using their figure eight form. With their mouths unzipped they would attempted to sink their teeth and claws into the Shadows back. The Claws would aim more for the sides as of attempting to hold on and their teeth would aim for the enemies spin. They would try to cut into them and rip them apart. Only after the fog would clear would anyone know for sure what happened to the summons.
Meanwhile, Naminé used the fog to her advantage to transform herself into someone she thought might be able to help. Shots fired after her transformation. One ballet went through the sleeve of her now pink denim jacket. She flinched as it cut a deep canyon in her arm. She could tell that Yazoo was firing blindly since some of the bullet flew all around her and didn’t hit her mark. The memory witch twirled what was once her sketchbook and now a staff around in a circle hoping the bullets would bounced off the metal rod instead of hitting her. It was a lot easier to spin the staff then her Keyblade due to its thinness but on the same reason the pole covered less of an area at any given time and some of the bullets cut into her.
The now transformed witch stopped spinning her weapon when the firing stopped. She used the direction in which the bullets were coming from as her guided to pin point Yazoo’s location. Being able to sense his heart and using it as a guide was a lot harder in someone else form and she didn’t have the time to stand around trying. She could sense something...something was talking to her…whispering to her in her head. It was faint and she had presumed it was with the connection she had with her forms powers, Aerith, and what that meant to be fighting against Yazoo.
Naminé/Aerith was worried about Yazoo’s gun and wanted to make sure she didn’t get to badly hurt by it. She griped her arm where one of the bullets had taken a chunk out of it. It was still bleeding and she winced badly when the salt from her hand made contacted with the wound. The disguised young enchantress knew that if she stayed in one spot there was more of a chance of getting shot again. So she took her hand from her wound and placed her hands together in a silent prayer. Her staff seemed to float on its own in a horizontal position as she cast her spell. A green circle appeared around her and a Wall appeared and then disappeared. Though you were unable to see the spell it was still there. “Aerith" grabbed her staff and Dash forward a few feet with her staff out in front of her. She swung her staff around hoping to hit something but was still blinded from the smoke. So she spun around and began twirling the staff to create a fan. The smoke began to clear and became less dense. Whether she would be able to clear in time before she was attacked again was unknown.
Aerith may only deal in defense and cure spells but anything was better than nothing at all. The memories of the Ancient helped guide the memory witch’s actions which was better than a Keyblade she barely knew how to use at this time. Yazoo’s and Naminé’s skills were worlds apart but at least in this form they could be somewhat on equal ground…or at least from the same world.

He used it only to prevent sight when he had something planned that would take his opponent unaware or if he had to take some time with something. While he had thought to make some movements unseen and work a way to attack Naminé from multiple sides, the Dusks had prevented him from working out this trick.
Instead, he was just using the smoke as if it was a normal natural thing that was not with nor against either him or his opponent. His Shadow Creepers should be stronger and faster than the Dusks, so he wasn't going to bother with the smaller creeps for now. Instead, he had entered the smoke after firing some rounds. This way he would have more chance that Naminé went for him and with the distance this much closed in, she'd have a hard time to go around and attack from anywhere other than frontal.
The Shadow Creepers found their enemies as the Dusks thrown themselves at them. Launching themselves at the Dusks as well with teeth and claw, the Shadow Creepers tried to rip the Dusks they found apart. Feeling the claws slice into their skin, the Creepers still continued their attack.
When Yazoo had fired his bullets, he had heard some hitting something of metal, so he knew the girl was defending despite the random gunfire. Well, he had aimed well for where Naminé was last seen and he had an accurate aim, so some of the bullets were sure to reach the girl. The smoke was starting to thin out as he moved forward, then he heard the sound of something being swung around and held his arms up as a weapon hit him, a staff? His head tilted a little when a staff hit his arm, feeling the pain flow through his body, he understood something had happened in the smoke.
With the smoke disappearing due to the fanning of the staff and the air taking it away, the Remnant now saw a total different figure before him. His face changed completely for a moment as a thought came to mind: "... Mother?" Quickly he jumped backwards while holding his gun by his side. Seeing Aerith confused him and as he took a good look behind the girl in pink, there was no sight of Naminé. Is my mind playing tricks on me? His facial expression returned into a neutral expression, regaining calmness.
Thinking back about his time with Keldric and Naminé, he recalled that she had some powers with memories, but from his experiences it was usually involved with Sora. Perhaps she learned of the connection? It did bother him somewhat, but another thing that bothered him was whether this was just an illusion or real.
The baton was at least real, unless some other trick is going on, fire gathered around his arm again as he took another look of the area, figuring it was best to attack a bigger area to find out if something was hidden, he threw his arm sideways this time as he casted Flare. Instead of a vertical line of fire, this time the wall of was horizontal to cover up a larger area of the arena, along with it it would remove the last smoke and whatever was left of the Dusks. The Shadow Creepers that remained would simply jump up high to avoid the wall of flames.
Cooldowns MP Absorb: Two posts. Flare: Three posts.
Active Shadow Creepers: Two posts; since it's an old spell before the HP system, maybe I should give them four or five HP or something? Dunno... o.o; Both still alive at least. After the duration (or defeated), they go on a cooldown of three posts, so I imagine they're stronger than the Dusks...? xD;;; Sorry.[/style] |

(OOC: Sorry I would have gotten this up sooner instead of cutting it down to the wire but there was a bit more research in old Naminé and Aerith I had to do to pull this off XD I hope it is okay.)
Aerith’s staff hit something as it spun and the smoke was in the air. Well it was clear that she found Yazoo. She jumped back and began to clear the smoke around them with the fanning of her Princess Guard. Once the smoke was cleared she could see the Remnant and his reaction to no longer having Naminé before him. The smoke also revealed the damaged that the two groups of summons had done to each other. Two of her Dusks were gone as they tried to attack the Creepers head on. However, one Dusk still remained on the field. Not because it was strong but because it had gotten lost in the smoke. It had aimlessly wondered off the arena. Now that the smoked was cleared it looked around confused for a moment and then wondered back to the fight. The disguised Ancient couldn’t help but face palm herself and shake her head hopelessly at the sight of the Dusk’s absent mindedness. Had this been any other time she would have probably died of laughter. Aerith turned her attention back to the semi-shocked Yazoo. She smiled at him. “Hello Yazoo. I hope you don’t mind this slight interference.” She said in Aerith’s sweet voice. She could sense that Yazoo’s sight only lingered on her for a moment but was now looking past her. It would seem as if Naminé had tricked him because she had the strange thought that he was looking for the girl in white. It wasn’t her original idea but she was going to go with. The wondering Dusk finally made its way back to battle ground and in the mitts of it the conversation it chose to launch itself at Yazoo. It was using Aerith’s conversation with him as an opportunity to make up for its mistake earlier. Naminé/Aerith, however, saw this attack and jumped to Yazoo’s side holding the staff up and the Dusk ran into it instead. She gentle pushed the Nobody away from the Remnant. She looked down at the Dusk . “Yazoo isn’t yours to fight.” She lectured the Nobody with a smile. “You have other things to worry about.” She pointed at the Creepers that were still in play. The Dusk looked at the Aerith then at the Creepers then back at Aerith. “Well get to it.” The Dusk got up from the arena floor and reluctantly walked back over towards the Creepers but not before turning its head around back at Aerith. She simply looked back at it and nodded for it to go on. So the Dusks Dash forward for its two against one fight with the shadow like dogs. Naminé turned Aerith’s body to face Yazoo once again. She walked to his front. “You noticed back then didn’t you?” She asked the silver haired gunman. “You could sense something was wrong with me back when we all fight in Gaia.” With how well Sora new the staff wielding flower girl; Aerith’s memories were rushing at Naminé at the speed of light. It was starting to become overwhelming but she still kept the sincerity that the Ancient maintained. “It isn’t easy is it...Fighting someone you care about?” She chose to tear up but something inside made it seem genuine. Even Naminé herself knew that I was truly hard to fight someone you cared about. “I didn’t want to fight you, Loz, and Kadaj that day, but I had to protect the lives of the innocent that just wanted to live.” She continued as the words just spilled from her mouth . “You feel the same way about fighting Naminé…Don’t you? You really don’t like the idea of fighting her even if it is a game?" Aerith tilted her head. “ You care for her…and yet you seem to oblivious to how she felt..and then you disappeared from her life. Now here you stand firing at her as if she was nothing. Letting her be overwhelmed by memories of you that she can’t piece together. Is that really what you would call fair? Don’t let her struggle the way Kadaj made me…You may tear her apart to the point that even you can’t heal her."As Yazoo’s hand began to glow Aerith put her hands together yet again and a green circle appeared as the staff levitated. “Reflected.” Aerith said as the fire came at her. Naminé could feel Aerith’s form slip away as the spell finished just in time to protect her. The Dusk that was fighting the shadow Creepers wasn’t as lucky as its summoner and the creatures it was fighting. It burst into flames and vanished. Naminé felt sick for some reason. Aerith’s form and the rush of memories had taken a toll on her but she had to keep going. She had to do it for Sora and Snow. She had to show everyone that she wasn’t a helpless little girl anymore and could be worth something if given the chance. She shook her head to clear it as Aerith’s staff faded back into being the memory witch’s sketchbook. The book vanished and her Keyblade returned. “I-I want to remember.” She said with tears in her eyes. Visions of a boy holding a Keyblade crept into her head. This wasn’t Sora, Roxas or Riku. She didn’t even know that she knew any other male Keybladers. She thought those three were the only ones she ever came in contact with. There was snow around them in the vision and it was cold. She was unable to see the boy’s feathers only his silhouette. The boy’s hand came towards her and dusted her off for the snow was everywhere on her. There seemed to be more people in that snow with her but Yazoo was the only person that the Memory witch could see clearly. As before the vision faded and Naminé found herself once again in the arena. She was getting frustrated with these flashbacks. They held more question then answers to whom and what the memory witch truly was. Who was the boy? What was Yazoo to her? Why did she feel like she once knew but longer did? She was starting to understand what the tampering of a memory can do to someone and would have to exercised caution when she used her power from now on. “Why? Why can’t I remember? What did you do? Where did you go?” She spoke to the silver haired man. Out of pure frustration and not really realizing it Naminé tossed her Keyblade at Yazoo. The blade spun around and cut the air like a helicopter blade. It made a familiar swishing sound as it did so. It headed for the Remnant but the memory witch was too dazed to know if it actually hit its mark. She did know the sound of the Keyblade seemed to be getting closer to her now and she lifted her hand and caught it. The bladed had returned to her like a boomerang. She knew this Keyblade fighting style. *‘"W-well, I've not seen many other Keybladers. And you're the only one I know who's e-ever thrown it that way before…”'* Naminé could hear her own voice speak in her head as she recalled those words. The Enchantress of the mind looked directly at Yazoo. Tears still lingered in her eyes. This Tournament was entered for fun but just became so much more. “What happened to me?” OOC:Mind manipulating status:Form: Aerith Weapon: Princess Guard Spells: 1: Wall: A spell that lessens physical damage and magical damage on herself or an ally. He listened half-hearted, not wanting to recall the past events. There had been enough mistakes in his life that he didn't want to reflect upon. His gaze went over the Dusk and his two Shadow Creepers. The two summons of his had been wounded from the looks of it, but they were still capable of ongoing. Still...The Dusk seemed to have turned its attention upon him rather than the Creepers, but this 'Aerith' halted it. He tried to bring to mind all that he had seen Naminé do, but everything in the past was too far in the past. He wasn't sure if he was now trapped on some sort of memory-lane... no, if this was just a false world... then the Dusk and Creepers weren't here, were they? Despite his calm facet, the Remnant felt horribly caught in whatever trick that was happening. 'Aerith' was continuing and bringing back memories, he had avoided contact with Aerith and Naminé since the timelines seemed to have changed, but it was like all these lines overlapped themselves here. It didn't make much sense to him, could she... know? Or perhaps... recall things that shouldn't be there. Yazoo started to understand the idea of how a paradox could be an annoying thing. He had hoped to avoid the past. Thinking about the past and hearing her speak, Yazoo had even sacrificed himself once. Back at the beginning, it was perhaps even considered a game by them. To find 'mother', then when they finally returned he had found 'friends' in Keldric, Naminé, Kirux... Despite the manipulation that had happened to him that time. No, not again, Yazoo wanted to close his mind and his ears, not wanting to hear anything of this now. When he had thrown his Flare spell again, the Shadow Creepers moved and leapt away, but still vanished into the shadows by Yazoo's call. With the Dusk gone and the woman before him bothering his mind, he wanted to clear this himself... or a part of him called to him inside. The Remnant was already hit by the reflected Flare and got moved a bit back as the fire burned his skin. The pain on his skin weren't as hurt as his mind. He was a Remnant, a part borne from Sephiroth's spirit, a piece of Mother's Legacy. Jenova's Legacy. A part within burned up as Yazoo's skin started to darken. Naminé reverting back to normal went a bit unnoticed as the words didn't reach the Remnant. A memory came to mind, words he had spoken himself flowed into his head: "Each of us three gained a part of the original. So I guess I got a third of the heart as well. We lack each parts what humans have. I'm only athird of the original. This means as well for emotions. I lack many emotions, still, I act as if I have them. I lack real parents, still, we call our original's 'mother' also our 'mother'. We lack age as we were created from a spirit, we might age right now, but you can say we're 0 years old. Still, we both bear memories from our original selfs. So... are we maybe the same?"The Keyblade that flew around brought his feet finally into motion. His gun unleashed a rapid barrage of bullets as he had started Remnant of the Chosen One. While he rushed forward, the Remnant would unleash a single martial strike with the gun in a simular fashion to how Sephiroth would attack with his sword. The attack was aimed for the arm holding the Keyblade, following it, he would immediately bring back his arm and aim at Naminé's face to fire a single shot at close range, but not meant to kill her. Following this, he would continue his legs forward, but step his foot onto Naminé's torso in a crouched motion before pushing himself off her and fly back and land at a bit of a distance. With this also his skin would turn back to normal. For now... this match just has to end, the thought went through his head, planning to find Naminé later. All these events just brought his head to think. It had never been wise of him to avoid her, to try and keep everything forgotten. This wasn't something he had wanted. Naminé looked up in time to see that something odd was happening to Yazoo’s skin. She took the Keyblade that was in her hand and carved something on the arena floor as the Remnant came running forward. It was a good thing she decided to use the Keyblade to do her drawing because had she attempted to summon her sketchbook she wouldn’t have had time to finish the picture. Granted the drawing was sloppy but what could anyone expect when a man is dashing towards them.
The Memory Witch could have activated her magic before Yazoo ever got to her but that would defeat the mental hold that they had on each other. So as the bullets came at her she raised her blade so that it was running the length of her body from her face down to her chest. She didn’t spin it. She just let the bullet come at her knowing some would no doubly hit and some would only hit the blade. She needs to watch where Yazoo was at all times for this to work and a spinning Keyblade would impair her vision.
Yazoo aimed for her hand holding the Keyblade and his hit was straight and true. Naminé dropped her blade and grabbed her wrist as pain shot up her arm. Destiny’s embrace landed at her feet where her drawing was. Once the two came in contacted the drawing sprang to life and a white lotus flower surrounded them both and incased them. They were now trapped within close proximity to each other in pitch black.
The last thing anyone in the audience would be able to see of the fights was Yazoo taking aim at Naminé’s face and once the flower was closed the Gun shot would sound throughout the stadium. Meanwhile, with the flower pod, Naminé’s head as flung back as the bullet bounced off her face and it began to bleed at the bridge of her nose and her eyes filled with tear. Her hand was outstretched and her Keyblade beamed itself into her hand. The flash of light gave away Yazoo’s next move as she could now see. The Nobody brought the blade horizontal to her body so that one hand was holding the hilt and the other was grasped around the top of the blade. She felt the kick that was going to land in her torso vibrate through the blade instead. The impact still sent Naminé crashing into the one of petals of the flower but at least she wasn’t doubled over in pain because of the kick to the torso.
Naminé slide down the wall of the pod and landed on the floor. Her arm hurt and her face hurt. Tears here streaming down her face and just because nobody could see it didn’t mean you couldn’t hear it as she tried to fight back the crying. She got back up and used her Keyblade as a crutch. Her breathing was shaky and she still didn’t have any of the answers to the question she asked. She doubted she would get them. Yazoo was here to fight in the games not answers some Nobody’s questions and she had to do the same. She wasn’t just fighting for herself but for Sora and Snow as well. She wanted to prove that she could be worth something and sitting her crying wasn’t going to do the trick.
Naminé removed her blade from the floor and wielded as a weapon once again. She raised Destiny’s Embrace High into the blackness of the inside of the Pod “Thunder” She cried and with that she snapped her fingers as the bolts came crashing down and a Corridor of Darkness appeared under her. She fell through the portal and landed on the arena stage below as the corridor closed behind her.
Naminé looked up at the pod. “I could simply erase your memories. Show you the pain of not remembering. Not knowing who you are and your purpose. I could make you forget your Brothers and friends.” She said to the pod. “But if I did that……” She lowered her head as a few drops of blood from her wound reached the ground. “Then I would be no better then you.”
Naminé raised her hand and didn’t activate the final stage of her magic. The flower pod opened setting Yazoo free. She got into a fighting stance with her Keyblade. “Let’s finish this…okay.” She said with a painful smile. “No more mind tricks from me. They would only work on someone who cared anyhow.” She said not know how much Yazoo had already been affected by the tricks she has pulled.
Thunder- Naminé raises her Keyblade, strange light surrounds the tip of the blade, and several bolts of lightning rain down from the sky all over field. Anyone in the way will get electrocuted dealing minor damage.
After being in several battles Thunder type spells were used more often against the young Nobody. She experienced this over and over again and now has learned how to do it herself. She finally fully can cast the spell with her Keyblade after seeing how to do it when Sora use it against her in the tournament.
Cooldown- 1 post
Corridors of Darkness: Naminé can summon a Corridor to Darkness with one hand, which leads her into the darkness of the heart of a world, allowing her to travel to the darkness in the hearts of other worlds connected to it. She can use this freely to open one Corridor of Darkness at a time outside battle, but if she is drawn into combat, it takes more concentration and power to use it to move about or escape. [Cooldown during battle: One post.]

There wasn't any smile left from the start, within he felt pain rather than amusement. The idea of having fun was gone and replaced with a burden that made him wonder what was wrong with him.
When he pushed himself off Naminé's Keyblade, he did notice that she was pushed back, but behind him were the petals as well, so he attempted a half-flip in the closed area, hitting the petal with knee and arm. In a way, he rammed into the petal this way since he couldn't exactly create much of a distance.
Sliding down, he heard Naminé cry out and the flashes of lightning went through the dark flower as he felt some hitting and rushing through his skin. In the flashes, he didn't pick and trace of Naminé until after the attack was over and he heard a voice.
When the flower pod opened and Yazoo saw Naminé take a stance again, the Remnant put his revolver away. "I..." He shaked his head and continued calmer, "I thought it was best to avoid the past. Perhaps I was wrong," he wasn't too sure what to say to this, "I am... sorry."
The Remnant turned around and continued: "Give me some time, I'll give you all the explanations you want... This is my loss." He looked around for Phil to see if the barrier could be dropped since he didn't have the will to fight anymore. Then again, his brothers were still counting on him, contradictions... so pestering.

Naminé lowered her Keyblade slightly as Yazoo spoke for the first time since the start of the match. She found herself slowly getting out of her battle stance. “Leaving the past behind you if fine but you should at least provide closer for those you are leaving behind.” She said as her intense blue eyes stared at the Remnant. “It is never good to avoid anything; you have to face it head on to get past it. Avoiding things is never a good thing. You think if I was to avoid my past I would be standing here right now? No. I would still be in a white room in a castle or mansion playing ghost girl or making sure no one remembered why they came in the first place.” Her voice wasn’t harsh or angry. It was gentle and full of hope. She had things she wished she could forget, and some things that she did forget, but now she kept a sketchbook with her so she would never forget the good or bad, and now she was on a quest to discover what she had forgotten in the first place. “Memories make up who I am. They may be painful at times but I want to remember them and the people within them because they are precious to me….every single one of them.” The Memory Witch smiled.
What came next tossed Naminé for a loop. She half jumped in surprise in a Sora like way. “What!?” The words flow from her mouth. She stood there for a moment as Yazoo was looking for Phil. Something was boiling over in her…was she getting angry? “So so that is it?!” Her voice went back to being calm and quite after that. “You-you’re really going to just give up? Why? You came here to win didn’t you? You have people on your team relying on you. I know I have people relying on me too but I know even Sora wouldn’t want you to give up just because of some memories…..Snow I really can’t say what he would want because don’t know him that well.....”
Naminé couldn’t help herself. She banished her blade and ran to grab Yazoo’s arm. She pulled herself in front of him. “Sora, your team, and I want you to stand and face your problems.” She attempted to look into Yazoo’s eyes. “No more avoiding or hiding. There will always be problems, whether they are past, present or future. You can’t let them over power your life. Take a stand with them and work your way through it. If you need someone to stand with you all you have to do is ask.” She placed her hand on the side of the Remnant’s face. “If you are leaving here to face your problems then I will let you, but, but please please please don’t say that you are leaving because I got you. I am a memory witch…it is who I am….asking me not to pull something with someone’s memory is like asking you not to be a Remnant of Sephiroth. It can’t be done, but what can be done is how we live our life and what we stand and fight for.” Naminé smiled once again. “What do you fight for, a mere memory or something greater? I know that someday I will get the answers to the question that this fight and brought? But that is a problem that is in the future. I am not running from it. I am just setting a date to deal with it.”
Naminé let go of Yazoo and stepped a few steps back words. “I will let you go if this is a problem you feel that you have to deal with now. I won’t stop you if that is the case but if I found out or it is because you don’t want to stir up more memories…I will never be able to respect you for hiding like that. And I really don’t think you will be able to respect yourself if that was the case either.”

The Remnant simply remained quiet as she spoke. Hearing her speak of the past, he did wonder how she would've reacted if he came up to her speaking of memories that she had no idea about, memories from a very different Naminé.
The girl suddenly pulled him to her, so she wants to continue. In my travels, even with her, she never really did pull so much of mind tricks. He did recall Maurelle and Xemnas when thinking of mind tricks, having been manipulated and disliking it by all accords. Still, he wouldn't want to bring himself to hate the girl in front of him just like that.
A slight smirk returned on his face when the girl mentioned him being a Remnant of Sephiroth. It was perhaps the thing they tried to go against the most. Having fought both Jenova and Sephiroth, to become their own and not a remnant. But not being a Remnant is like not existing at all to them. It could even be considered their race as there are Heartless and Nobodies.
"I simply don't want to hurt some, despite enjoying to hurt many others," he said having regained the smile on his face, a playful smile that he brought during battle. "If you wish to fight a Remnant of Sephiroth, do know we're not the most friendliest people," he told her when she had stepped back, "then let us continue, but don't complain... you brought it upon yourself."
His arm started to glow and the Remnant casted his Cura spell upon himself, just to wash away some of the wounds he had obtained so far and restoring some of his fatique. Then pulling out his revolver again, the Velvet Nightmare, he let out another barrage of bullets. "Perhaps... like my match with Keldric, we can enjoy this and plant it within our memories," he thought dearly.
