OOC – Given that the total damage with all these attacks combined would be sufficient to slay the beast I will be ending this mission with this post. If you wish to get any more RP in to wrap things up you may although Stella I will give you a warning this time to not use your limit break in such a scenario again. You hardly took any damage this encounter; in fact you even seemed to imply in your last post that you didn’t even take the full damage from the Holy which was forced as punishment. Considering you ignored the damage the debris would have done to you and dodged the Thundaga, I find it hard to believe Stella (IC) would have taken enough damage to justify her limit break. Whatever the case I will not penalize you for this as it is the first offense but I do not wish to see it occur in the future. Keep that in mind and without further ado I’ll wrap this up and use a little bit of a time skip to when you get back in the village. How you wish to wrap things up with the villagers is your choice I’ll just being taking a little bit of control as I did earlier to get you to the setting although I do apologize that this post isn’t exactly my best work, I am having trouble mustering up muse for this wrap-up post.
IC: Overkill… that was the only word that could be used to describe what had just taken place when all the warriors present on that mountain unleashed their most powerful attacks. Indeed, nothing would be a more fitting word for what had just transpired, the dragon being pelted with numerous attacks and dying instantly. It had hardly any time to even comprehend all that had been going on before it was slain by the combined efforts of the warriors. The beast’s wing was torn asunder by Lightning’s devastating attack, Stella’s several weapons pierced the dragon all over, Vanilla’s summoned creature hit it with a tremendous force like that of a train, and Noctis also did much the same as Stella, attacking it with several weapons all over its body. It was hard for the dragon to believe that “rats”, or rather humans, could be so strong that they could perform such daring feats of strength and overcome it. Yes, never before had the dragon seen such powerful humans and this would be the last if ever saw of them as it fell from the sky. It crashed on the ground kicking up plenty of snow and debris as the loud thud echoed across the top of the mountain. Its eyes closed briefly after its fall, the dragon taking one last breath before its chest cavity ceased all movement and it had passed away.
With the dragon now dead the warriors would return to Koriki village to receive their reward… and perhaps do something else as well. After all, it was rather obvious at this point that the villagers had sent the warriors to their death more so than just to offer the food to the dragon. Yes, the villagers were rather surprised to see them return and their faces couldn’t help but express the shock they felt over such a feat. The villagers never had any faith in the warriors returning alive and had only hoped that they would have been sacrifices sufficient enough for the dragon to spare them its wrath. The one most shocked was the villager who had specifically mentioned the plan, falling backwards upon their arrival and stuttering rather terribly.
”I-I-It’s i-i-impossible!” he shouted at them as he quickly took off, presumably rather frightened of the group. He had good reason to be anyway, the four of them had just slain a dragon, one known for being incredibly powerful and savage. How they had overcome such a beast was beyond comprehension for that villager and the rest of them really, it all seemed so incredibly surreal. A group of warriors slaying a dragon was something only told in fairy tales, in fables, in legends, such triumphs never actually occurred in the real world. They were so frightened by that fact they hadn’t even given the warriors their reward yet, afraid that they would attack them for what they had done. How the warriors acted though was of their own vocation and this narrator has no idea how they will act when presented with this reality.
